Title: Ghosts of the Past, Part 1
Location: Earth
Difficulty: Medium
Description: Even now, long after the Galactic War that had consumed the entirety of the Galaxy for nearly a full year, many places still bear the scars of that conflict, the most of which was planet Earth. This was a planet that had been the origin point for the brutal and cold fighting force known as the Steel Legion, once the robotic protectors of the Earth Defense Forces, they had been changed from defenders into oppressive and murderous tyrants by the actions of a single man. That man was now dead, cold in the ground, and yet his ambitions still remain to this day. Having been more-or-less forgotten until now, the town of Telanwan, once a conversion station and arms cache of the Steel Legion, had turned into a figurative ghost town. This was one of the towns that had been completely abducted and converted into the robotic soldiers of the Legion, leaving the town itself an empty husk of a once-vibrant culture. Only time-and-elements-worn markings and houses remain of this once-proud town. However...
Today, an electronic signal was detected from that ghost town. It was a request by an RBC unit (the most common unit constructed by the Legion at the time) for access to the Network, a shared and wireless network that all RBC units utilized for mutual communication. Experts believed that the Network was the true hub of their way of life, as emotionless as it was, and attempting to reconnect to the Network (or form its own Network) would be a remnant RBC unit's first priority. The fact that even a single RBC unit still survives is, by all measurements, a grave implication. The Steel Legion cannot be allowed to return to the Galaxy--and as such, whether by recruitment or commission, you have been tasked to investigate and resolve the matter.
RBC Units (an abbreviation of Robotic Bodyguard and Combatant) are powerful, fully-synthetic robots capable of awe-inspiring destructive abilities. Each one is armed with a Mega Buster, an arm-cannon capable of rapid-fire energy blasts or mountain-destroying charge-blasts. Their resilience is second-to-none when it comes to android construction, their calculative abilities in combat were the best that could have been constructed at the time, and they were known for their ruthless and cold logic. All RBC units (with few exceptions) were capable of emotions, and most saw emotions as a weakness. Be prepared if you intend to fight such a metallic monstrosity--for they were the shocktroops of an ideology that was intolerant of anything that was not in keeping with their logic.
Reward: +500 zeni, +5 DP, +40 all stats, +5 RPC
Bonus: +250 zeni
Requirement: None
Title: Ghosts of the Past, Part 2
Location: Avalon
Difficulty: Hard
Description: Data retrieved from the incident at Telanwan indicates that there are remnants of the Steel Legion. As near total as the destruction of their numbers had been, some still survived. It is not completely known why so many RBC units had been destroyed upon the destruction of their leader, Unit Five-Thousand (once known as General Rondown), but the data proves that many RBC units are still in operation, even if their locations are unknown and their signals are extremely weak. Because of this data, you voluntarily follow-up (or are ordered to do so by a higher power or government) on this investigation by travelling to the next-greatest concentration of Steel Legion units during the war: Avalon.
Avalon had been a near-singular obsession for the Steel Legion to invade, as they had invaded with almost six-million RBC front-line units. Even now, Avalon still bears the scars of that invasion (as well as the attempted Invasion by the potent Ork raiding force), leaving the planet in a state of recovery at this point. Avalon's forces are, as imagined, at an all-time low. Between defending themselves from a near-defeat at the hands of the Legion as well as repelling a force of Orks that had possessed the very-real possibility of wiping out all life on Avalon, Avalon's military forces have only started to recover. It takes a long, long time to properly recruit and train a military that Avalon once enjoyed, and right now, they are at their most vulnerable.
You eventually gain authorization from the Avalonian government to conduct your investigation, and a single Paladin is attached to your endeavor by the ruling Senate. This is a fresh-faced Journeyman Paladin, with little experience, so you may have to play baby-sitter for this particular person, but with Avalon's and the Senate's blessing, you are able to conduct your investigation of Avalon for any signs of RBC activity. There were three major sites of RBC activity during the war: The landing and staging zone (some one-hundred kilometers away from the capital city), the walls and outskirts of the capital city itself, and the Cougon Plains (where the Steel Legion army had constructed a now-defunct base of operations). How you pursue your investigation is up to you, but be warned--if one RBC unit remained on Earth, it stands to reason that more still function, mindlessly pursuing whatever objectives they have with the relentlessness of a beehive or ant colony.
You are wished the absolute best of luck. You are likely to need it.
Reward: +800 zeni, +6 DP, +80 all stats, +6 RPC
Bonus: +250 zeni
Requirement: Must have completed the quest Ghosts of the Past, Part 1 (located on Earth)
WRITER'S NOTE: These are the first two quests of what will likely be a 7 or 8 part chain. I will post up the rest as time allows.

Title: Warm Welcome Location: Norfairca (Infernal Dominion) Difficulty: Easy Description: As soon as you arrive in Norfairca’s orbit, you are directed to dock with the ship’s massive mountain spire--Norfair’s Claw. This natural mountain ascends from the surface of the planet all the way up beyond the atmosphere, making it ideal to dock from orbit and transport goods down to the planet’s singular civilization known as Kraidric. Once docked, you are visited by an irritated-looking Dominion soldier who seems to know nothing about you or your prior exploits, and the demon demands to know what you are doing on this planet. Be sure to either assuage their fears or establish your dominance early in order to gain entry onto the planet proper. Be careful about either method, however--the Dominion demon presence in this spire is plentiful and always on guard! Reward: +300 zeni, +2 DP, +20 all stats, +2 RPC - Title: Mountain Mayhem Location: Norfairca (Infernal Dominion) Difficulty: Easy Description: The only feasible way for life to live on Norfairca is through a series of tunnels and underground cities established by those that mine and live here. Currently, Norfairca only has one massive city beneath Norfair’s Claw, and as such, a mining cooperative has started recruiting individuals to assist in locating large ravines and caverns beneath the planet’s surface in order to establish more towns and spread the elbow room, so to speak. However, there are a few complications--namely the ravenous and hostile life forms that dwell on and beneath the planet. You can sign up for either the exploration detail or the guard detail that is being put together for this dangerous mission! Reward: +300 zeni, +2 DP, +20 all stats, +2 RPC Bonus: +50 zeni Requirements: Must have completed Warm Welcome- Title: Tectonic Tension Location: Norfairca (Infernal Dominion) Difficulty: Easy Description: Something is causing a lot of earthquakes lately in the area of Norfair’s Claw, and its not the normal rumblings of tectonic activity either! The Dominion is already putting together patrols to get to the bottom of these frequent quakes, and they are not shy about hiring on some mercenary muscle as well. It is suspected that some portions of the local wildlife have burrowed deep underground and are upsetting the natural tectonic activity of the planet, and as such, you are being hired to track down their tunnel and eradicate the pests. If it turns out to be something different, however, the Dominion will want to know! Reward: +300 zeni, +2 DP, +20 all stats, +2 RPC Bonus: +5 all stats Requirements: Must have completed Mountain Mayhem- Title: Norfaircan Trade Negotiations Location: Norfairca (Infernal Dominion) Difficulty: Easy Description: Norfairca is known for its mineral deposits and heavy mining endeavors on the planet, but it is also known for its incredibly rich soil exports as well, which would be ideal for any agricultural endeavors you might wish to pursue. As part of the Infernal Dominion’s frontier, trade on this planet is relatively fresh, making it an ideal candidate to get in early on negotiations and trade deals. Some of the competition may not look kindly on newcomers, however! Reward: +300 zeni, +2 DP, +20 all stats, +2 RPC Requirements: Must have completed Infernal Trade Negotiations- Title: Trouble with Terrabites Location: Norfairca (Infernal Dominion) Difficulty: Easy Description: The Dominion has need of soldiers out here in the frontier, and considering your presence on the planet already, the local Captain of the Dominion forces here on this world has taken an interest in your exploits. As such, he requests your assistance with a certain pack of Terrabites--flying, winged creatures that prey upon the ground-based people of the planet. They roam in large packs and are a hinderance to ship-borne transports. Since you will be operating on the surface, they will also provide you with airtanks and breathing equipment necessary to make the job possible--beware their stinger tails, however! Reward: +300 zeni, +2 DP, +20 all stats, +2 RPC Requirements: Must have completed The Trust of the Dominion and Tectonic Tension- Title: Unhealthy Competition Location: Norfairca (Infernal Dominion) Difficulty: Medium Description: A large trading firm by the name of Acquisitions Incorporated is looking to muscle in on the trade agreements on Norfairca. However, something does not seem quite right with their presence--after researching them, you discover that the firm is actually a cover for a massive pirate invasion of the planet. Use your contacts and/or might to either dissuade the pirates from attacking the planet or remove them as a threat outright. Either way, news of your efforts would surely net you a lot of positive feedback with the local miners. Reward: +500z, +5 DP, +40 all stats, +5 RPC Requirements: Must have completed Norfaircan Trade Negotiations- Title: Rambunctious Rockwyrms Location: Norfairca (Infernal Dominion) Difficulty: Medium Description: Rockwyrms are part-dragon, part-burrowing-creature that have been a bit of a nuisance lately. They like to come up from below the ground into Kraidric and mess up a lot of the local infrastructure that’s keeping things together and operating smoothly on the planet, and as such, they’re becoming more of a problem than they’re worth. The Dominion would rather the whole population of Rockwyrms be completely destroyed, especially considering all known Rockwyrms travel in one massive herd. Considering your reputation, they have enlisted you to assist with this exhaustive task of genocide! Reward: +500z, +5 DP, +40 all stats, +5 RPC Requirements: Must have completed Trouble with Terrabites- Title: Cornering the Market Location: Norfairca (Infernal Dominion) Difficulty: Hard Description: Considering the danger of Norfairca and the possible damages to shipping vessels, its becoming increasingly hard to maintain profit margins for traders and merchants for this planet--and while you are bearing some of the pains of these costs, so too are your competition. This presents a unique opportunity to convince them to relinquish their trading rights and really corner the market on this planet, but be warned--more and more trading firms are teaming up in order to make the burden of damages easier to bear, and they all have a bit of a chip on their shoulder regarding you. Convincing them to give you the lion’s share of trade opportunities on this planet will be difficult with so many trading companies on the docket, but someone with your skills and connections should have no problem, right? You might even consider a bit of aggressive negotiation as well. Reward: +800 zeni, +6 DP, +80 all stats, +6 RPC Bonus: Norfairca Trade Contract - Placed on a player-owned planet. Due to the incredibly rich soil from this planet, this trade agreement boosts the output of Senzu Farms by +1 Bean per week (passively and when building) and reduces the build time of Exquisite Ingredients by 1 week while on the planet this agreement is active. Requirements: Must have completed Unhealthy Competition- Title: Deadly Defender Location: Norfairca (Infernal Dominion) Difficulty: Very Hard Description: A massive signature of vibrations was just detected a short distance away from the planet’s only civilization, Kraidric, and after some severe study, the Dominion is able to determine that the source is from a singular, massive creature that is making its way towards Norfair’s Claw. The sheer size of the creature puts any docked ships and shipping containers at absolute risk of destruction, putting all of the Dominion Forces on high alert. Unfortunately, the Captain was wounded during the battle against the Rockwyrms, leaving you as the most powerful person to lead what forces remain. While an ideal opportunity to test out your leadership skills, the whole operation on Norfairca is in danger and rests upon your shoulders. Rally the troops, track down this destructive creature, and bring an end to its reign! Reward: +1,200 zeni, +7 DP, +2 SP, +100 all stats, +7 RPC Bonus: Infernal Dominion Bravery Badge - Attached to any Body or Accessory equipment. While worn, and while on any Infernal Dominion planet (owned by Lilim), you may use one of your build slots to take on a mission for the Dominion. Each mission takes one week (can only do one at a time per update), granting +5exp, +5 all stats, +50z. This is not a spar or battle. If you already own the Infernal Dominion Glory Badge, the Bravery Badge will instead boost the gains of your weekly Dominion mission by +5exp and +5 all stats. Requirements: Must have completed Rambunctious Rockwyrms

I do like this. It may be added in the future. This is a great example of a quest submission because it is a good prompt and the reward serves a purpose. It is essentially the opposite of dark stone and it would help members with alignment, which is a pretty darn annoying mechanic. I am going to go ahead and lock this thread. I made a new one and stickied it. I feel some of the suggestions here are missing the mark, but I do want to encourage more quests being suggested.
