Kay, I've talked to a lot of people and the general consensus is Aggressive and Defensive Fighting Styles suck. So while there are other buffs we could do and may add to fighting styles, I'd like to focus on those first with this thread and move onto less pressing could be cool changes after we got some stuff in mind for these poor shitty af FS's lol Worst case, y'all can make a separate thread before this is done and I'll rename it.
DEFENSIVE FIGHTING STYLE CURRENTLY:
Suggestions:
L5: Retaliation (+2 Counters) [Switched]
L10: Resilience (Buffed to fully block Physicals and Fundis at no action cost)
- Removed for something else entirely?
LV15:
- Twice per battle block causes a stun
- Barrier and Body Shield do not require a slot
- Double Equip Shields
- Block causes DMG
- Toughness adds DMG to attack
- Can double down a block during a charge action
LV20: Divinity stays
LV50:
- Once per battle can double tou for a post
- One of the L15 ones
LV100:
- Once per battle doubles tou
- Increases DMG Reduction 10% ignoring cap
- Once per battle reduces the DR of one attack by 2
AGGRESSIVE FIGHTING STYLE CURRENTLY:
Suggestions:
L5:
- Leave Double Strike
- Pummel changed to 2QAs, +1 SA
L10:
- Pummel changed to +2QAS, +1SA
- Break Strike - After three physicals connect (taken or blocked), the next blocked physical is broke through and the block is ruled a fail. Effect is nullified if the opponent takes two physical combos.
- Second Punch - Twice per battle can double your physicals or throw two hybrids fundi/adv in one action.
L15: Leave Berserker
L20: GIMME SOMETHIN BETTER PLZ.
- Spend one action to make your next attack Multi-Target
- Nova Chariot Rip Off
L50: THIS TOO
- Twice per battle can change one energy attack into a Hybrid attack
- All Out! changed to Increases Rush slots by +1 and adds an additional 3 special attacks to all Rush techniques
L100: AND THIS
- Your QAs now have damage rating of .5 and your SAs are DR1
Just in general Aggressive deserves something cooler than just...I get to punch you more in one action. It’s super lame and cannot compare to the perks of other fighting styles.
Please add input on what's already there (if you like it, hate it) or if you have other ideas for perks POST EM.
