Gokua Personal Saga

Bounty Hunt

Gokua had seen the notice on the walls of buildings, sign posts, and on T.V. broadcasts. “Bounty on the head of Shan Smithy, also known as the Dark Ace”. This criminal was responsible for killing thousands of people, holding the king for ransom, and wiping out Nataday Village. The Dark Ace’s bounty ranged into the tens of millions of zeni. No one, however, seemed to want anything to do with the “Dark Ace.” Apparently, he was supposed to have mystical powers. Gokua took in a deep soothing breath. It was time for some sort of action.

As Gokua sped through the city, he took in his surroundings. It was a cool summer’s day in West City. The streets weren’t that busy due to the Dark Ace incidents. There were a couple large dogs down an alleyway fighting. Then, someone came out of the sky.

“Move away dogs,” the green man said in a hateful voice. A flash of light ensued his words, then the dogs were gone and so was the man. From what Gokua saw of the man, he was very tall, very muscular, dressed in black, and defiantly Namekian. Concentrating on picking up the man’s power level, Gokua took off into the clouds.

“I know that you are here, so come out before things get drastic,” Gokua said with caution.

“I’m the one who is going to get drastic,” a voice shouted.

Almost immediately, Gokua was attacked from above by a green skinned creature. He was definitely Namekian. Gokua dodged the attack and was assaulted by another Namekian. Grappling with both of them, Gokua shouted, “eye beam,” blasting both enemies back.

“You dare enter the fortress of the fifth level,” the Namekians shouted in unison. “Leave now, before we call the others.”

“I’m not going anywhere, until I find out about the Dark Ace,” Gokua wheezed.

“Well, we can’t tell you much more than, he lives in the center of the First Level. You will never get there,” the first Namekian said as he entered an aggressive fighting stance.

“We will see about that,” Gokua said as he fired rapid ki blasts that created a mist of water in the air. He then got behind the Namekians and finished them off. Hiding the bodies down on the ground
“Halt, or we will shoot you down,” came an anxious voice from below. “We have back up, and the necessary permission to kill you.

When Gokua looked around, he saw eighty Namekians in their natural battle armor. Judging by their preciseness of power concealment, Gokua figured that they were all very strong. Rushing away at top speed, the leader Namekian teleported in front of Gokua with ease.

“Come with us, NOW,” he said. Gokua had no choice but to go. But instincts are hesitant at times.

“ENERGY DAN,” Gokua shouted aiming at the swarm of fighters. As the ki blasts came towards the Namekians, they deflected them with their arms. Then they each held up a hand at the command of their leader.

“Special Beam Cannon,” they shouted in an ancient language.

Escape. The word came into Gokua’s mind along with a surge of adrenaline. Using speed teleport, Gokua went and ran for cover. The Namekians would undoubtedly find. Obviously, Gokua could not afford that. Scurrying for cover, he found a spot that was well hidden in the clouds. It was perfectly hidden from view.
, Gokua turned to find wherever this First Level was.

What Gokua saw then, made him choke and gasp for breath. There was a huge floating city with a sign reading, “Welcome to the Fifth Level.” Gokua made his way cautiously, into the floating city.

“Code eight,” came an enormously magnified voice, as sirens everywhere erupted into various beeps and screeches. “Intruder alert, intruder alert. Unidentified alien personnel have entered Level Five.

Gokua started to panic, and things did not get better when he felt a long scaly finger grease his shoulder, as he was snatched backwards out of the sky. He put up a violent fight, in which he was sure that he seriously injured his captor. However, eight other hands beat him into submission. He was immediately rushed to the prisoner cells.

“Where am I,” Gokua asked dazedly, while he looked around. He was in a cell with two others. They were Namekians, weak Namekians. Outside the cell, was a huge muscular guard who had a sophisticated belt around his waist. He didn’t look like he would ever need to use anything but his fists.

“Sooo…. What did you do to get stuck in here,” asked the much older Namekian.

“I intruded apparently,” Gokua replied. “But why are you two Namekians locked up in here?”

“We or we should say, half of the Namekian population was transported here by the Dark Ace. He provided us with much more living space and technology, but at some costs. For one, we gave our best fighters to join his army. At first, we were all peaceful. But then, most people turned corrupt and like Earth people. Now we are the only ones who say that we should have staid in Namek. That is how we got into jail. Does that answer your question,” the younger Namekian asked.

“Yes, it does. What about Level Five? What are these levels?”

“Keep it down in there, or I’ll force you to,” the guard said in a disgruntled voice.

Whispering now, the Namekians continued their story. “They are figures of power measurement. The Dark Ace has taken in ten types of inhabitants. All from different planets, he provided them with technology and advanced living quarters. Every level represents a higher power ranking. Ten being the lowest and one is being the highest.”

“And about the army,” Gokua asked.

“The Dark Ace plans to use everyone for galactic and eventually, universal domination.

“So if I want to stop the Dark Ace, then I have to go all the way to Level One?”

“Yes and no. When you get to Level One, you have to destroy the fortress surrounding Level Zero.”

“I’m sorry to interrupt your nice little chat,” the guard said. “But I have been given direct orders to wipe you three out.”

A humming sound came from the guard’s fingers, and the two Namekians fell to the ground. They were unmistakably dead.

“And now for you,” the guard said cackling with energy.

“Dodonpa,” Gokua said swiftly. The blast that he had been ready to use ever since he woke up, burned a hole through the guard’s heart. Fishing through the guard’s armor, Gokua found he keys. Not that he needed them. Gokua punched the bars apart and stepped through, and then he took off towards the edge of the city.

As Gokua looked down, he saw what it looked like when it rained. From a bird’s eye view. The cloud gap was nothing big enough to expose the city, but the sight was amazing. Gokua paid for his lapse of concentration, by getting knocked in the head by a Namekian guard.

“Dodonpa,” Gokua said again, and the guard fell through the clouds. Probably on some old person doing their shopping. Gokua flew off towards a sign that read “Fourth level: 800 miles.” Sighing, Gokua merely speed teleported towards the next level.

Peering around, Gokua saw a similar city to the Fifth Level, but different inhabitants. They were slimy powerful looking creatures. Gokua spotted ten of them coming at him. Charging up his blast, he awaited for the right moment. “Energy Dan!” The Guards never knew what hit them. They just dropped out of the sky. But more were coming.

“I guess you are to be stronger guards than the last batch,” Gokua asked preparing for a melee fight.

Apparently, the guards didn’t speak English, but they charged at Gokua very, very fast. Within seconds, Gokua knew that taking this race on with fists, was a bad idea. They were perfect in the art of melee fighting. Gokua then also realized why they were killed so easily by ki blasts. This was because, Gokua raised an energy barrier. The aliens melted away (that’s right, I said melted). Gokua raced down the floating path leading to level three, before more of those aliens came after him.

“Gokua was getting tired of flying now, so he charged up a very high amount of ki, then speed teleported north (the direction of Level Thee). The assumption was that if Gokua went far enough, that he would end up in Level One. He was very wrong. He found this out, when he read this sign: “Welcome to Level Seven.” Groaning, Gokua speed teleported until his ki was running low. He eventually got to Level One.

On Level One, the main inhabitants were Yaidratians. They were all very weak. Gokua flew around knocking them out with ease. That was, until he got hit with one of their high technological tazers. Gokua was zapped with over one hundred thousand volts of electricity. If it weren’t for his alien body, he would have died. Screaming in pain and anger, Gokua swiftly took out most of the Yardrat population.

Starring up at the Level Zero Fortress, Gokua wondered how he would ever get past the high security. He solved this problem by setting off all the alarms that he could. Guards of every 10 races came charging out to get the intruder. Gokua, in the mean time, slipped past them and ran into the fortress.

Gokua was at ease in the fortress, that is until he was assulted by the Dark Ace. They fought for a few minutes in silence, but then stopped to introduce each other. Nither were very friendly (obviously), but they were both secretly charging massive energy beams in secret.

"Energy Dan," Gokua yelled as the Dark Ace shouted his own.

"Final Flash," The Dark Ace yelled.

The beams met. The whole fortress blew up with the force of many atomic bombs. With Level Zero gone, all of the floating cities were transported back to their origional planets. Gokua finished the Dark Ace, and went to claim his reward.

"Yeah right," the general said when Gokua told him his story.

Gokua then proceeded to threatening the general. "You had better give me a reward, or I am going to kill you,"

"Fine FINE," the general said as Gokua killed ten guards instantly.

Gokua then happilly flew off with a generous ammount of zeni. And, some tecnology from the floating cities.

In a couple months, the news said that the Dark Ace had stopped raiding places. Gokua laughed continued to watch as people were still looking for the Dark Ace.

END.
