The foreign man walked up the side of the mountain near West City. He had been walking for a while, so his legs hurt. His torn dirty white shirt was drenched in sweat. He hadn’t had a shower in about three weeks. He was dirty and poor. The man wanted to sell some items in West City, but every corner he stopped at to start selling, a police officer would shoo him away. The last encounter he had with a police officer lead to the man being beaten to the ground. The blood from the beat down showed all over the back of the man’s dirty white shirt. He decided that he had best take a break from walking, so he sat down by a creek nearby. He slowly bent down to gulp down some water when something caught his eye. He turned his head quickly and saw an old shack sitting about 100 feet away. It was covered in moss and was kind of hidden behind some trees. He finished drinking the water and walked over to the shack. He tried opening the door, but it wouldn’t budge. He finally ended up breaking it down with all his might. He stepped inside to look around.

“Finally, I don’t have to live in that damn wagon,” the man said to himself as he walked around in the shack.

He pulled the wagon he had been living in to the shack and tied it up to a tree that was nearby. He took some of the cans he had laying around the wagon and filled them up by the stream. After an hour went by, the man picked off leaves to make a bed. Once he finished that, he went in and laid down. He hadn’t slept well in the past couple weeks and he thought a good sleep would bring him some luck down the road. He was looking around the room when something caught his eye. He sat up and stared at it. He finally stood up and walked over to the shelf it was sitting on. He grabbed it and blew the dust off it. It was a tapestry. He unfolded it and looked at it. It looked to be a story about something. The man sat down and began reading it. When he finished it, he folded it up and walked outside. He put it in the wagon, went inside, and laid down to go to sleep.

As this was all happening, Nappa was flying towards West City from Kami’s lookout.

“Man, I haven’t gotten out that much lately, I’ve been training with Kami for so long that I forgot what its like to just have fun...why the only fun I’ve had this week is beating up that guy I saw. Man, that was a great battle, to bad I out smarted him,” Nappa thought to himself as a small smile appeared on his face.

He was having fun flying around...and this time not training. He finally reached West City and landed on the ground. He walked around looking at all the different things that had changed since he had been in the city last. It was around 5:00 p.m. and Nappa decided that he had better get something to eat or else he would starve. He walked into Tojo’s Sushi and ordered some sushi with a side of rice. He was eating peacefully until he over heard a police officer talking to a man sitting a few benches away.

“Yea, that man would not just leave. He kept begging me to let him stay and sell his crap, but I wouldn’t let him. He kept telling me how poor he was, but I didn’t believe him. You cant trust people these days, he could be some kind of crook, ya know? Well anyways, I guess he was heading towards the mountains because he kept talking to himself about something being over the mountains...I don’t know. Well, I best get going, someone is probably trying to rob a jewelry store or something I gatta stop,” the police officer told the man. The police officer left and Nappa finished his dinner. He stood up and walked over to the man the police officer was talking to.

“Hey, I couldn’t help but over hear that there is a poor man walking in those mountains?” Nappa asked as he pointed out the window at the perfect sight of the mountains.

“Yes sir, why do you ask?” the man replied as he looked at Nappa in a gaze.

“Oh, no reason...just been bored lately and I need an adventure,” Nappa replied as he walked out the door of Tojo’s Sushi.

“I feel so sorry for the guy,” Nappa said to himself, “he is poor and has no place to live while I have all this zeni and a place to live. Well, its time I help someone out. Its been a while, so why not start with him.”

Nappa took off down the street looking straight ahead at the mountains. He would turn his head to the left and saw that the sun had begun to go down behind the trees. “Im going to have to camp out tonight I guess. Well, at least ill have some fun on this little adventure,” Nappa said to himself as he kept walking towards the mountains.

After about ten minutes of walking, he reached the mountains. The mountains looked like a huge forest on a hill, but it was too big to be a hill. Nappa entered the woods and walked on the trail that people made when they first adventured up the mountains. The dirt trail lead all over, it twisted and turned in different directions.

“He must have come this way, because there looks to be wagon tracks in the mud...and they look fresh,” he thought to himself as he walked in the direction he thought the man was going.

The sun was well below the horizon and Nappa started getting tired. “Guess its time I set up camp,” he said as he picked out a spot to sleep for the night.

He made some shelter from dead trees and leaves, and made a fire by piling up a bunch of wood and leaves and then shooting a Beam Ball at it to set it on fire. After that was done, he went out looking for some food. He found a wolf hunting for food, so Nappa ran at it and caught it. He brought it back to his camp and cooked it. He finished eating it and went into his little hut to go to sleep.

The next day, Nappa woke from the sun beating on his face. He gradually stood up and gave a huge stretch. He walked outside and had to shield his eyes from the sun.

“Ah...this is going to be a great day,” he said as he began doing some exercises to get ready for the day’s adventure.

When he was all done, he decided that he best not waste time getting breakfast because the man would probably be long gone. Nappa decided that he would run instead of walking just to catch up for the time lost. He began running from his camp, following the trail that he believes the man was on.

“What the...what’s that?” Nappa said to himself as something caught his eye.

He walked over to an object that seemed to be a small piece of wood. He picked it up and examined it. It had a letter painted in red on it. He placed it in his pocket and kept on with his journey. After about a half hour went by, Nappa stopped by a stream to get a drink. He bent over and took a drink. As he was about to stand back up, something caught his eye. He turned quickly and saw a wagon. He walked over to the wagon and noticed that it was filled with stuff. He looked behind some trees and saw a shack. He walked inside and saw an elderly man sleeping.

“Hmm, I wonder if this is the guy...well it smells like it could be, god, this guy hasn’t had a shower in a long time!” Nappa shouted to himself.

Just then, the man woke up. “Wh...wh..who the hell are you?” the man asked as he quickly jumped to his feet at the sight of Nappa.

“I’m Nappa, I came all this way to find a man who is poor. I have a lot of zeni and I’d like to buy some stuff from him. You see, a police officer said that he was selling stuff at a corner in West City and she shooed him away...well more like beat him away, but anyways, are you that guy?” Nappa said all in on breath.

“Ah, yea...I am the one who is poor and selling stuff. That wagon out there is where I use to live, but I found this shack, so now im living her until I figure out a way to sell all the stuff in the wagon,” the man replied as he kept his eye on Nappa the whole time he was talking.

“Well, I would like to look at this stuff you got. By the way, what is your name?” Nappa said as he bent over to tie his black and blue boot that was untied.

“My name is Augustus, now, let me show you what I got,” he said as he lead Nappa out the shack to the wagon. The man was shorter than Nappa by about a foot. He was bald on the top of his head, but had white hair on the sides. “Ah, here we are, now, you may look through all of this stuff.”

“What’s this?” Nappa asked as he picked up a tapestry

“Why that’s an interesting story, you should buy it and read it,” Augustus replied.

“You know what, ill take it, I haven’t read a good story before. How much?” Nappa replied to the man as he went through his pocket searching for his zeni.

“Why, since you came all this way, ill sell it to you for...500 zeni,” Augustus said as a smile appeared on his face.

“Wow, ok, ill take it,” Nappa said as he handed over the zeni to the man. “Well, there ya go, I must get going now. Good luck getting back on your feet.”

With that, Nappa took off running in the direction he came. When the wagon was out of sight, Nappa stopped running and began walking. He sat down on a nearby rock and began reading the tapestry he bought.

When he was all done reading it, he seemed to be calmer, much more calmer than when he had first sat down. He began walking down the trail, and the words: “Be careful what you seek traveler, for it may come true before you are ready.” kept running through his head. He kept trying to figure out what it meant, but nothing seemed to come to mind. By now, the sun was already beginning to go down behind the horizon.

“I better fly home,” Nappa said to himself as he took flight and made his way home.

The words still echoed in his head, but after a while, it disappeared and all he thought about was getting home and laying in his nice cozy bed. Finally, after about an hour, Nappa made it home. He walked into his front door, took the tapestry out from his baggy pant’s pocket and hung it on the mantle. He went into his room and jumped onto his bed. He fell asleep within a few minutes and on the mantle the tapestry hung.

The next day, Nappa woke up and with the sun shining on his face. He sat up and looked out the window in his room. The day was clear and the sky was clear. He got up and walked into the living room where the tapestry was. He did his daily routine and after about two hours, he was on his way to West City. After his travel, he arrived in West City.

“Hmm, I’m getting kind of hungry, Tojo’s Sushi was great, ill go there again,” Nappa said to himself as he walked to the restaurant.

Tojo’s Sushi was a block away from where Nappa was. He walked as he looked around at all the people taking their new cars out for a spin. He walked around the corner and saw Tojo’s Sushi. He walked to the door and walked in. He sat down at one of the benches and ordered sushi and a bowl of rice.

The police officer left.

“What the? That’s weird, I saw that police officer in here yesterday talking to the same guy about the same thing...what the hell is going on? He there, may I ask what today is?” Nappa asked a man sitting a few seats away.

“Why, its Monday,” the man replied.

“It can’t be Monday, yesterday was Monday,” Nappa replied as his heart started racing more.

“Ah no sir, it is Monday, see,” the man replied pointing at the date on the calendar a few feet away.

“What the hell is going on?” Nappa once again asked. He quickly stood up and walked out the door. He walked over to the bank and looked at the clock. The clock flashed up the data and day of the week. That too said Monday. “Am I going crazy or something? Maybe yesterday was Sunday...”

A few days later, Nappa woke up to the same sun shine as he had the last couple days. He sat up and began thinking.

“Ok, I have to be going crazy or something, I have woken up the same way for the past four days, and I have, for some reason, gone to Tojo’s Sushi and for some reason the same cop is there telling the same story. Something has got to be wrong, everything was fine until I bought that tapestry...that’s it!” Nappa said to himself, “It’s that tapestry, there must be something with that tapestry that is making me relive the same day over and over again!” Nappa wasted no time at the thought of it being the tapestry.

He rushed into the room the tapestry was and took in to the couch. He sat down and began reading it over and over again, until he could almost say each word in the story with out even reading it.

“Wait a minute...why are these words capitalized? They are in the middle of the sentence...” Nappa said as he grabbed a piece of paper and began writing down the words that were capitalized. “Look...On...The...Back...” He read to himself. “What could it mean? Ah!” Nappa quickly turned the tapestry over and began searching for something on the back. He ran his fingers all over the back until in the top right hand corner, he felt something rough. He scratched at it and something started to peel off. He peeled it all the way off and discovered a bunch of numbers.

“Hmm, what do these numbers mean? 1-5-31...” Nappa read the first set of numbers. All of a sudden, it hit him. “I remember hearing about something like this. The first number means a paragraph, the second number means what line, and the last number means how many letters over in that line!” He shouted as he copied down all of the set of numbers on the piece of paper.

After about an hour of copying down all of the set of numbers, Nappa began decoding the message. He spent a good two hours getting just half of the set of numbers done.

“Wow, this is taking forever! Im getting hungry, ill finish this after I eat,” Nappa said as he walked into his kitchen and opened the refrigerator.

“Hmm...Goddamn it, I forgot to buy stuff again!” Nappa shouted in anger as he overheard his stomach making noises. “Well, I don’t know where to go...maybe Roshi has something to eat...I could take this tapestry over to his house and show it to him...”

Nappa grabbed the tapestry, and the papers that he had used to decode the message. He stepped outside and saw that the sun was not quite over head, but off to the side a bit. “I just hope I can decode this before tomorrow...I don’t want to take the chance of losing all of this from the ‘reset’ of the day...” Nappa thought to himself as he took off in flight towards Roshi’s island. Roshi’s island was a good ten miles away, so Nappa decided to time himself to see how much he has improved with the training he had been doing. His old record was 20.5 seconds. Nappa pulled out the stop watch from his pocket and set it. He hit the button to start the timer and took off like the speed of light. His clothes blew in the wind and there was Ki engulfing him from the speed he was going. When he saw Roshi’s island a few yards away, he sped up as fast as he could. He landed on the island and hit the stop button on the stop watch. “19.9 seconds,” Nappa read as he smiled a bit. He walked up to the door on Roshi’s house and knocked. He waited a few seconds before he pounded on it again.

“Wait just a damn minute...Im not as fast as I use to be at answering the door!” a man who’s voice sounded like Roshi’s said.

“Sorry Master Roshi, can I come in?” Nappa asked when Roshi answered the door.

“Oh, its you Nappa...Yea, come on in! I haven’t talked to you in ages, how is everything going?” Roshi said as he led Nappa to his living room. Roshi sat down along side Nappa and the two chatted.

“Oh everything was pretty good, until I stumbled upon this...hey, do you have any food by any chance?” Nappa replied while he was looking in the kitchen.

“Oh yes, I have food, help yourself. Now, while you are doing that, why don’t you tell me what you mean ‘until you stumbled upon this’,” Roshi told Nappa as he began reading the tapestry.

“Well you see, I over heard a police officer telling a man about old man who was poor and was selling some things. I figured I would help him out, so I found out where he was and went out looking for him...” Nappa began.

“Where was he?” Roshi interrupted Nappa.

“He was up in the mountains near West City. Now, when I found him, I asked him if he was selling stuff and he said he was. I looked through all the junk he had and stumbled upon that,” Nappa said as he pointed to the tapestry Roshi was looking at. “Everything seemed fine, I paid him, read it, put it on my mantle, and went to sleep. The next day, I woke up the same way as I had before. I went to the same restaurant. I saw the same police officer saying the same thing. I thought I was just imagining things. I went home, went to sleep, and the same thing happened for the next four days. Finally today, I wanted to figure out what the hell was going on, so I read the tapestry over and over again until I discovered that certain words were capitalized that shouldn’t have been,” Nappa said to Roshi as he walked back into the living room with a plate full of food.

“What were those words?” Roshi asked thinking that something was weird with this story.

“Oh, they said Look On The Back,” Nappa said as he showed Roshi the paper he wrote the words on. “So I looked on the back. I found something weird with the top right corner, so I scratched at it until it began to peel off. I peeled it all the way off and there was a bunch of sets of numbers,” Nappa showed Roshi the paper with all of the numbers on it. “You see, the first number means what paragraph, the second number means what line, and the third number means what letter in that line. I began decoding the sets of numbers. I am half way through it.”

“Well, what do you think is going on?” Roshi asked Nappa as he seemed like he had already known the answer for this.

“Well, I think that it is someone playing a trick on me or something...you know, to make me mad...” Nappa began when he saw Roshi shaking his head.

“No, this is definitely not a trick. You see Nappa, this story is about control of time. If you look at this line, it says ‘Be careful what you seek traveler, for it may come true before you are ready.’, I believe it has something to do with this whole thing. You see, I think that you have been placed under a curse, and the only way to stop it is by decoding those ‘clues’ you found and doing whatever it says,” Roshi said as Nappa looked at him.

“So your saying this stupid thing wont stop until I finish decoding this message?” Nappa asked while he finished stuffing his face.

“No, decoding it is only part of it, I believe you have to do whatever it says to stop this curse,” Roshi said as he handed the tapestry and papers back to Nappa.

“Well, thanks for your help, I know I havent been here long, but I best get going so I can finish decoding this. See you later Master Roshi,” Nappa said as he walked out to the outside of the house.

“Let me know how it goes,” Roshi said as he waved bye to Nappa.

Nappa sped home not even trying to time his speed this time. If he had timed himself, he would have most likly broken his record because he was in such a hurry to get home and get the last half of the codes from the tapestry. When he arrived at his house, he walked into the house and ran to the couch. He pulled out all the papers and the tapestry from his pocket and placed them on the table placed in front of the couch. He grabbed a pencil nearby and began. One after the other, Nappa found the letter, wrote it down and moved on. When he reached the last line, he found the letter and wrote it down. He looked at all of the letters.

“Hmm, lets see here, all the letters are crammed together in one long word. Well, here is ‘What’,” Nappa said as he looked for the words the letters spelt out.

His head was pounding and his eyes were getting weak. He dozed off a few times, but woke up suddenly. He knew he had to finish before midnight just incase things “reset” and he loses everything he worked on.

“This doesn't make sense!” he shouted. “I’m stuck on these last couple letters! Well, I’ll read what I have so far and see if I can figure out what it should be. What you seek cannot be found here. What you seek is in your mind. To break this, you must find the paper of time wizard curse. It is found where the curse was found. Be careful what you seektravelerforitmaycometruebeforeyouareready,” Nappa read to himself. “Wait, what was it that stuck in my mind when I got done reading it? Oh, what the hell was it...Ah! I remember, Be careful what you seek traveler for it may come true before you are ready. Thats it, thats the end of the message. Now, I must find where the paper of the time wizard is. Maybe that old man I bought it from knows where I can find it,” Nappa said as he went into his room to go to sleep. “First thing in the morning ill go check and see that old man...hopefully he is still there.”

The next morning, Nappa woke up from the sun beating on his face as it had all the other days. He got up on his feet and walked into his living room. He couldn’t remember what had happened yesterday. He looked around his living room and couldn’t find the tapestry. He began to panic.

“What am I going to do? I have to figure out what is going on, and I cant even find that damn tapestry. I don’t even remember what went on last night. All I remember is going to Master Roshi’s house to ask him about something...what was it?” he asked himself as the more he tried to think the more he forgot. “Where the hell is that tapestry, I need it!” Nappa began to become more and more worried.

He didn’t know what was going on anymore. He decided that it would be best to go into town to try and figure out what he had done the night before and where the tapestry could be. When he got into West City, he walked all around collecting his thoughts until he came to Tojo’s Sushi which had been destroyed.

“What the hell happened here?” Nappa asked a man standing near the building across the street of Tojo’s Sushi. “Hello? Sir! Can you hear me?!” he shouted even louder to the man. Nappa waved his hand in front of the man’s face, but the other man didnt do anything, all he did was stare at the fireman putting out the remains of the fire. Nappa tried talking to everyone, but no one seemed to hear him.

“Oh my god! Here is comes!” Nappa heard a women yell out as everyone began running to hide from someone who seemed to be coming straight for the city in the air.

Nappa stared at the flying person coming straight for the spot he was in. The man was wearing a torn dirty white shirt that was drenched in sweat and he was wearing blue pants that had a hole in the right knee. The man was flying so fast that there was a streak of Ki following him. When he reached West City, he landed a few feet away from Nappa. He walked up to him and began talking.

“Hello Nappa, remember me?” the man said with a smirk on his face as if something seemed to be funny to him.

“Your...your Augustus...how do you no how to fly?” Nappa asked as he seemed to be a little shocked to find out it was Augustus.

“That does not matter, but what does matter is that I am thankful of you. You have rid me of the dreadful curse and now I have been freed to rule destruction upon this damn planet once again!” Augustus shouted as he laughed a bit.

“What? What the hell are you talking about? How come no one can hear me?” Nappa asked still shocked at what Augustus said.

“Ha, no one but I can hear or see you! You see, since you have freed me from that damn curse, you have placed one on yourself. No one will be able to hear or see you unless you figure out how to break the curse! But before you do that everyone including this planet will he history!” Augustus shouted as he gave an evil laugh.

“No...No!” Nappa kept shouting.

All of a sudden, Nappa awoke. He was breathing very hard and there was cold sweat dripping off his face onto his t-shirt. “Thank god, it was only a dream,” Nappa said to himself as he got up and walked into the living room. The sun was barley up over the horizon. Nappa grabbed all the papers and the tapestry. “I best get an early start at getting up those mountains,” He said as he walked out the door. When he was outside, the cool morning air filled him with some shivers, but he was fine after a few minutes. He took off towards the Mountains at the outer region of West City.

Nappa landed on the ground at the edge of the mountain. He walked up into the trail a little ways. He decided that it was best that he walk the trail because there is many trees on the mountain and he might over look the shack. He began to run when he was well into the wooded mountain.

“Damn it, I should have had something to eat before I left,” Nappa said after running for at least a half hour straight. It seemed like he had been walking for hours because of the winding trail.

He stopped to have a bit of a break before setting out again in search of the shack that he found Augustus in. Nappa was determined to find the shack for he didn’t stop for another break for a while. After running for a while, Nappa got thirsty. He looked straight ahead and saw a stream. He ran to it and took a drink. He suddenly remembered something when he bent down to take a drink.

“Wait a minute, last time I saw a stream,” Nappa said as he looked around, “There it is!” Nappa saw a gimps of the shack hiding behind the trees. He finished taking a drink and walked over to the shack. He knocked on the door and entered. “Augustus...Hey Augustus, you here?” he shouted through out the shack.

“Over here!” Nappa heard a faint voice. He rushed into the room next to the one he was already in and saw Augustus. He was under a bookshelf.

“What happened?” Nappa asked as he quickly grabbed the bookshelf and pulled it off of him.

“I stepped on a board over there and it cracked under neath the bookshelf,” Augustus slowly said as he coughed a lot.

“How long were you trapped under there?” Nappa asked as he tried helping Augustus to his feet and help him get to the bed in the other room.

“I think about two hours, im not quite sure,” Augustus replied.

“Well, im glad I came, other wise you could have been trapped there forever,” Nappa said as he pulled up a chair next to Augustus who was laying in the bed.

“Hey, why did you come up here?” Augustus asked out of curiosity.

“Oh, I almost forgot, I need to no where you found this,” Nappa said as he pulled out the tapestry from his pocket.

“Why do you need to no where I found it?” Augustus asked again out of curiosity.

“Because I believe that I have been placed under a curse, a curse that is explained in this tapestry. The only way I can break it is if I find the paper that goes with this. I believe it will break the curse if I do as it says,” Nappa basically replied in one breath.

“Oh, well then, I found it here, here in this little old shack,” Augustus replied as he looked around the shack, “do you think it is here, that paper you need?”

“I hope so,” Nappa replied as he got up and began looking all over for the curse of the time wizard paper.

“Want me to help you look?” Augustus asked as he tried to sit up, but couldn’t for he was injured from the bookshelf.

“No, you stay there, you need your rest,” Nappa said as he rummaged through all the stuff in the shack.

After about a half hour of looking, Nappa couldnt find it. “Where the hell is it? I need it so I can break this god damn curse,” he said to himself as he sat back down next to Augustus who was falling asleep. Nappa looked around the room, hoping to find he curse of the time wizard paper. He didn’t see a sign of the paper in the room that Augustus and him were in. Nappa walked into the other room and searched on the bookshelf and the shelves on the walls, but nothing. Nappa was walking back over to the bookshelf when he tripped in the hole from the cracked board. “What the...” Nappa said as he looked in the hole.

Nappa reached his hand down into the hole and felt nothing. “That’s odd, I thought the shack was flat on the ground...” Nappa said to himself as he grabbed hold of another board and ripped it off the floor. He got a better look. The sun shined down into the hole and Nappa saw that there was at least an 8 foot drop from the floor and the dirt at the bottom. He ripped up a few more boards, just enough so he could fit his body down in it. When he dropped down to the floor below the shack, he couldn’t see a thing. “Hmm,” Nappa said as he felt on the wall and felt what seemed to be a torch. He grabbed it and lit it by using a bit of Ki. He flashed the torch around a bit looking at the inside on the “hole”. He walked around and saw different pictures on the wall. Some of the wall was filled with different types of writing and others had pictures of people killing other people. He walked into a different section of the hole and saw more torches along the wall. He lit all of the torches as he made his way to the front of the hall.

“What in the world is this?” Nappa asked himself as he looked all around the hall.

He looked up and noticed that the hole he was in must be at a slant because he seemed to be getting deeper and deeper into the earth’s crust. He walked up to the end of the hall where there was one last torch. He lit that and looked at what was shown right in front of him. It was a stand shaped like a wizard. In his hand’s, he held a book. The cover of the book read Curses.

“Hmm, I wonder if the cure for the curse is in here,” Nappa said as he grabbed the book.

Right when he grabbed the book, the whole hole began to shake as the stand sunk into the ground. Nappa wasted no time dropping the torch he was holding and begin running back to the shack where he dropped down from. When he got there, he climbed up through the little hole and stood in the room. He looked around and didn’t see anything different about the room. He also didn’t feel the same shaking as he had when he was down in the hole. He blew on the book he was still holding and dust went flying everywhere.

“Well, lets see what this has to say,” Nappa said as he opened it up to begin reading.

“Lets see, where is The Time Wizard Curse,” Nappa asked himself as he skimmed through the index of the book.

He saw many different curses, but didn’t see the Time Wizard Curse. He looked over it again. This time he caught it and looked at what page it was on. He flipped to the page and saw a picture of a wizard. He read through the explanation of the curse. It explained what it was and what it did. After a few pages of reading that, he came across the heading “How to Cure the Time Wizard Curse” he read through the whole thing and his face turned a bit white. He lowered the book and peered over it. He looked straight at the old man sleeping. He looked back at the book. He closed the book and appeared to be thinking about something.

“How can I do that? He is such a nice person...” Nappa kept thinking as he walked outside the shack and walked around the woods on the mountain. “There must be a different way, but the only other way is to pass the curse on. I just don’t want to give this damn thing to anyone. Ah...I have to choose, burn the hole with the tapestry and the last person he had the tapestry in it, or give it to someone else to take care of,” Nappa thought in his head.

He had his head filled with all different ideas but he knew he had to decide. He figured that he best go back to the shack so he could take a look at the old man to give him a better idea of what to choose. When he arrived, he was about to walk in when he heard two people talking.

“So, have you done it yet?” a man asked.

“Yes, I have passed it on. You know, I think he knows how to stop the curse, so how are we going to kill off the Saiyan?” Nappa heard Augustus say to the other man.

“Don’t worry about that, he doesn’t really know the way to stop the curse, the only way is to kill the wizard down inside the hole with fire. By the time he figures that out, we will have moved the wizard and ourselves. Our plan is going great, don’t worry, within the next few days everything will be how it should be,” the man said as Nappa walked to the stream.

“I thought he was a good man, now I find out he is just being good to kill me...I have to stop them before the move that wizard,” Nappa thought to himself as he made an angry face from being tricked. He walked back to the shack and walked in as if nothing had happened. He walked into the room were the hole was and saw Augustus. “What are you doing?”

“Oh, its you Nappa, you scared me. I’m aaaa...just...looking at this crack in the floor,” Augustus thought up quickly.

“Oh really? I thought I told you to stay over there,” Nappa said as he pointed to the bed.

“Yea I know, but I am feeling better,” Augustus said starting to panic.

“How could you feel better if a bookshelf fell on you and you couldn’t get out from under it?” Nappa asked as he knew Augustus was making up lies.

“Weird huh? I have no idea, but im feeling much better. Hey, did you find the Time Wizard Curse paper?” Augustus asked as he panicked a bit more.

“How did you know what the paper was called? Are you hiding something from me Augustus?” Nappa asked as he started to find it a bit funny that Augustus had to make up excuses on the spot.

“Well...” Augustus began.

“Save it, talk a little walk with me,” Nappa said as he walked over to the hole in the floor. He pushed Augustus down in it and jumped down after. “Mind telling me what this is down here?” Nappa asked as he looked on the walls. The torches had still been lit from the last time he was down there.

“I...I have no idea,” Augustus said as he was nervous.

“Oh come on, im not dumb, I know your plans, mind telling me why you want to kill me? And who was that other man that you were talking to earlier?” Nappa asked as he stopped walking and grabbed Augustus by the shirt.

“Ok, ok...you see, I was a poor old man. I came up these mountains and to this shack as you know that part of the story. When I was here, I came across that tapestry that I sold you. After I had found it, a man appeared and told me that he would make me wealthy if I helped him. I said ok, what is it and he told me that I had to sell that tapestry to a man that was looking for me. I did as he said. I guess that he placed a curse on it that would make you relive the same day that I sold you it over and over again until he found out a way to move the wizard and kill you. I have no idea who this wizard is or anything, I was only in on it to get wealthy,” Augustus said as he turned somewhat pale and his body became cold.

“Oh really, who was this man you saw?” Nappa asked as he let go of Augustus and looked on the walls.

“I have no idea, all I know is that he wants to kill you, so he set this whole thing up. I don’t know anything about him,” Augustus replied as he looked on the walls as well.

“Well there is only one way to stop him, I must destroy the wizard and this tapestry!” Nappa said as he looked away from the wall and walked to the end of the room where the hall was. He looked down there and looked at Augustus. “Come on, you first.”

Augustus led Nappa down the long hall. They each studied the walls. When they reached the end, Nappa noticed that the wizard that was holding the book was no longer there. He studied where the statue use to be and figured that when he picked up the book, the wizard came alive. He knew that the wizard could be anywhere...but where? He stepped on the part where the statue use to be and a piece of a wall opened slightly.

“Hmm, whats that?” Nappa asked himself as he walked over to the side of the wall that cracked open.

He grabbed hold of the crack and pulled as hard as he could. Slowly, an opening appeared. Nappa grabbed Augustus by the arm and made him walk through first. He handed him a torch and one for himself. They walked a little was until they saw light from a drop off. They walked over to it and saw to men standing in the center of the room.

“Get down!” Nappa quietly shouted to Augustus as he pulled him onto the floor. They slowly crawled to the edge and looked at what the two where doing and saying.

“The time has come master, our time to shine is now,” a man said that sounded kind of familiar to Nappa.

“Good...” the other man said slowly.

“That must be the wizard,” Nappa said to himself as he kept watching the man that said ‘Good’. He was wearing all black and was carrying a staff, much like to one that was holding the book of Curses. “If im going to destroy the wizard and the tapestry, I must do it now,” Nappa said as he looked inside his pocket for the tapestry. “DAMN IT, I forgot it!” he shouted to himself. “Augustus, stay here and keep an eye on them. I have to go get something.”

Nappa took off without wasting any time. He ran into the hall, the next room, and finally climbed out of the hole in the floor. He looked all over the shack looking for the tapestry, but couldn’t find it. He was going crazy because he didn’t know what was going on about a half mile below his feet. He ran outside to the stream. Sure enough, there is was, laying right at the edge of the stream. Any close and it would have been down the stream. He grabbed that and the book of Curses and rushed back down to where Augustus was. When he got there back, he quickly crawled to where Augustus was.

“So what happened? Anything I should know about?” Nappa asked Augustus as he put the tapestry and the book of Curses on the ground. “Augustus?” Nappa asked as he turned to look. “What the hell?” Nappa grabbed Augustus and turned him over.

He was ice cold. His face was all blue and he didn’t have a heart beat. Nappa quickly looked into the room below because he knew that it had to be the wizard that did this to him. He saw the Wizard and the other man laughing.

“Wait a minute, I know that voice!” Nappa quickly remembered, “it is that police officer from Tojo’s Sushi!” Nappa stood up and threw the book and tapestry down at the two. He then made a huge Spirit Ball. “This is for the shit you have put me through for the last couple days!” he shouted as he threw the Spirit Ball down into the room.

There was a huge explosion. Nappa dropped to the ground so that he wouldn’t get hit with anything that would come flying at him. There was a huge fire that had been started from the Spirit Ball. Nappa stood back up and looked down in the pit. There was a huge hole that went all the way to the middle of the earth. He saw two figures falling and the landing into the lava. Nappa ran back to through the rooms and the halls until he was back in the shack. He walked out of the shack and towards the stream. He turned around and through a bunch of Ki blasts at it. The shack was destroyed. He hoped that this would prevent from anything like this happening again. He took off in the air and headed for his home.
