Please include a small example of a roleplay that you might have done in the past. Must be above 300 words. (Required)

Identify
There are some old bridges in the town of Wimbeldon Common which are very narrow and only allow one car past at any one time. We must place two sets of fully functional traffic lights either side of the bridge so only one steam of cars can pass at any one time.

Analyse
The traffic light sequence that is used is vital because if it is wrong there would be far too many accidents happening.

Design
I would like the traffic lights to do the following things:
• Reduce accidents and confusion among drivers to an absolute minimum.
• The lights should work properly and be fully functional.
• Only one stream of cars should pass the bridge in any one direction at any one time.

Review Timings?
The initial solution I have displayed and explained above only uses timings. I have identified several problems with this and listed them below:
• If there is a scenario where one side of the bridge may be clear and has its lights on green and the other side is on red but is quite busy, this may cause congestion on the busy side.
• If there are also pedestrians waiting to cross they will have to wait for both lights to turn red.

Suggested Improvements
Using the points I have listed above I can now identify some improvements I can make to make sure all of the things above will never cause a problem.
• I can include counters in my program so they can check how many cars are on each side to decide whether the lights should be green or red.
• We can also include a sensor to see if any pedestrians need to cross and if the sensor is on both lights turn off to prevent the pedestrians from having to wait for both lights to turn red.

Test
After I have created my final solution I found the need to test my program so that I can improve it to make it safer or change something.

Test 1
For my first test, I turned the inputs on and saw if the red lights came on. My test saw that the red lights did come on therefore finding no fault in the program so far.

Test 2
My second test simply checked to see whether the sequence chosen was the one that took place. This test was fairly simple but was necessary for if the sequence wasn’t what I wanted it to be that may cause major problems on the road. When it was tested the sequence had no fault what so ever.

Test 3
My third and final test consisted of the first two tests. I was basically looking for whether the sequence worked even when the inputs interrupted. This test was particularly difficult to observe for I couldn’t concentrate on two factors at once. In the end, when it had been undertaken, it all worked so my final solution was finally ready.

Evaluate
I will now identify what has been modified to make a safer final solution and how I went about putting it in my final solution.
• I have included inputs in my main flowchart that sense whether there are any cars on either side. If both inputs are off, both of the red lights stay on until either of the inputs turn on where the lights operate again. It also helps when pedestrians need crossing so when there are no cars, they can cross without any dangers. It is also a sign for drivers to slow down when they see the red lights on to prevent speeding on the bridge. It is even energy efficient so it plays a part in saving the environment.

Good report, but that isn't an RP. It shows that you know grammar though, and is one of the biggest things on this site. But a roleplay is a story about your character. It can't be something from the anime either. So yeah, that was an interesting report and stuff, but that is like schoolwork. Roleplays are more fun than that and have more creativity. But I'm sure you'll make it in once you get an RP in.

Although Alex might accept you with just this but I'm not sure. I think you should probably write an RP instead.
Planet Hounds thirst for blood. You can't run or hide, so don't even think about fighting.
