Mirror Evil Location: Namek Difficulty: Easy (5 posts) Reward: +400 zeni, +2 DP, +10 all stats, +1 Rp Credits, +2 on alignment scale Available: Yes. You have battled your inner demons for years, trying to stay on the righteous path. Your powerful evil side has managed to break free, and take shape as an identical character. He is now wreaking havoc on the Namekian population. Stop him without collateral damage, and reclaim your true purity. --------------------------------------------------- Dende was feeling a strange power well inside of him since the second he woke up. Finally he was able to brush it aside. He sat up in his tiny straw cot and rubbed his large black eyes. He pushed himself from the bed and forced himself to dress. The young Namekian pulled his baggy white pants on, followed by his leathery brown slippers, then his thin vest finally he tied a white scarf around his neck a few times and sat down at his old table to mull over these ill feelings. He shook his head trying to make the eerie thought leave him alone as he prepared a hearty mug of sensu bean tea. Dende took at seat at his lone chair and leaned over his rotting table, feeling it wobbling weakly beneath his weight. He sighed as he was forced to scoot back to ensure he wouldn’t lean on the poor table again; instead he cupped his hands and held his head, thinking about the strange feeling. “It kind of feels… evil. It’s like a disturbing, riveting feeling.” Dende said rubbing his temples. “Whatever it is, I’m sure Guru can help me relieve this feeling.” The tea began to boil and Dende stood to pour himself a mug. He grabbed the ladle hanging from the fireplace and poured himself a large helping of sensu tea. “This will help me alleviate this demon.” Dende grumbled as he plopped onto his wooden chair. He took a long gulp and slammed the mug back onto the table. “I’m feeling a little better already.” Dende said letting a plume of steam escape his mouth. “Sensu bean tea is the quick fix to everything.” Then a rumble was heard inside Dende’s brain. The emerald skinned warrior dropped the mug as it shattered to the ground. “Oh no.” Dende said rubbing his head furiously. “No!!” |

Dende’s head shot back to the sky, his mouth gaping open in a perpetual scream, but not a single peep escaped his mouth. His muscles contracted in a tight ball and he was locked in place. He tried to move his eyes but they too were locked at the ceiling. Suddenly, a dull pain started behind his eyes and quickly built up rocking throughout his body. It was an intense pain, a pain that was unbearable. Then, it stopped. A white mist slipped from the young Namekians lips and began to form itself a step away from Dende. Then, it took shape. It was Dende himself. It began to darken with color, but there was somewhat of an evil look to it. It snickered as it watched Dende return to his original state and fall to his knees, exhausted from the pain and struggle that his body had just endured. The evil Dende spoke up. “I am your Mirror Evil little Dende.” It said deviously. “If you ever plan to become anything in life, you must conquer and destroy me; if not, I will forever haunt you!” The evil Namekian spirit cackled. “If you don’t destroy me once and for all, I will burn inside you, killing every good intention you have until your more black-hearted than Frieza.” It snarled as the imitation cracked its knuckles. “So what’s it going to be?” Dende finally regained enough energy to stand and glared at the spirit. “You will die!” Dende threatened pointing a long green finger at the imposter. “I will destroy you! Wait and see!” Dende said aggressively. The spirit chuckled and floated out through the roof, waving slowly as it went. “We will see!” It called obviously a good ways away. Dende snapped to attention. “I have to stop him, before he really hurts someone!” Dende said taking off on foot after his clone. “How come he can fly, but I can’t?” Dende complained as he continued to chug behind the spirit. |

At last Dende found the spirit above a little village, obviously waiting for Dende to come and watch his attack. The evil Dende smirked and began raining ki down on the village. The pure hearted Dende leaped onto the evil Dende, unleashing a few punches and head butts. “Who are you?” Dende demanded whilst he began throttling the evil Dende. The spirit struggled to break Dende’s grasp, when he finally did he smiled mysteriously. “You mortal, can call me Dende Junior.” He said as he grinned and rolled away from Dende. He charged back in and leg swept the good combatant and then swatted him to the ground. “I hope your okay.” He joked placing a weighty foot on Dende’s chest, pushing down so as to restrict Dende’s breathing. The downed Namekian knew he wasn’t strong enough to free himself, he was a mere healer, suddenly, help finally arrived. Dende Junior wheeled roughly around on his heels and was met with a overwhelming blow from none other than Bana. Dende pulled himself to his feet and gradually recovered his breath as Bana and little Dende Junior battled in the air above him. Dende shook his head and tried to do what he could, but without being able to fly, he was next to worthless. “I need Guru to teach me bukujutsu as soon as he can.” Grumbled Dende forcefully sidelined from his very own battle. Finally with a heavy blow, Bana was knocked aside and the battered Dende Junior gazed down at the village devilishly. Then he started to throw ki balls at the tiny village, cackling all the while. Dende rushed over to Bana and tried to shake him awake, but the Namekian guard was out cold. The pure hearted emerald skinned Namekian picked up a rock and tossed it at his counterpart, hitting him in the head, forcing him to lower from the air, enough for Dende to tackle him back to the ground. “You’re done now!” Dende yelled as he began his assault of punches aimed at the head of the wicked form of him. |

A weak voice came from the foot of the hill and slowly made its ascension towards Dende and Bana. “Dende, is that you?” It asked as he finally made its appearance. Dende stepped back. “Moori?” Dende asked in surprise. “Grandfather Moori, why are you here?” Dende said trying to remain calm. “Yes, it is Moori.” He smiled grandly. “I’m glad you still remember me.” He said tapping his cane on the hill’s crest. Dende frowned. “How could I forget my own Grandfather?” Dende asked crossly. “I am forgetful, but not that forgetful.” He said playfully as he embraced his long lost grandfather. “Grandfather Moori, do you have any knowledge on Cargo?” Dende asked looking Moori deep into his almond eyes. Moori shook his head sadly. “I’ve heard nothing of him since I was wished alive again.” He said sighing heavily. “I miss him so.” He said nodding slowly. Dende bit his lower lip and patted his Grandfather on the back trying to be whatever condolence he needed. “Bana, I ask you return to Guru so he can remain in safe hands.” Dende said flipping a quick smile at Bana. Bana obliged and quickly burst off towards Guru’s hut, and in a few seconds, he was out of sight. Dende looked back at Moori. “Tell me about our village.” Dende said turning his grandfather to face the descent back towards the village below. “I want to talk to my old friends and neighbors before I become the guardian of Namek.” Dende said as he and his grandfather walked steadily towards the village. “I am hoping they will remember me.” Dende said scratching his chin. Moori chuckled. “Dende, trust me. You’re the talk of the town. Everyone is proud of you.” He said grinning widely. “Plus, I get to tell everyone you are my grandson.” He beamed as the sunset reflected off his sharp teeth. |

Finally they were just outside the village; Dende awaited Moori to enter first. “I don’t want to lead.” Dende said stepping away from the village gates. “Suit yourself.” Moori shrugged as he pushed through a thin wooden gate. He pulled a short trumpet from his side and blew it heartily. Suddenly it sounded as though 1,000 feet were sprinting at the duo as fast their little green legs would carry them. When all of the civilians of the village were gathered around excitedly, Moori smiled back at Dende and readdressed the crowd of Namekians. “This, my countrymen, my followers… my brothers, is the next Grand Elder of Earth… Dende!” Moori said letting his open palm pass over his grandson. The crowd of jade skinned people went crazy, clapping hands, jumping, screaming, and yes even riots were started in the great flood of Namekians. Moori smiled fondly at his grandson, and Dende watched as the crowds of his own neighbors were so excited to see him. Dende smiled back at Moori and stepped forward to speak to his people. “Listen, I am a regular Namekian civilian, just as you are now. I am nothing special; you can aspire to be anyone. I wasn’t born into this place. I wasn’t bred to be a predecessor of Kami… I am just Dende.” He said bowing deeply. He turned on his heels and walked out of the village, feeling sick to his stomach as he walked off towards Guru’s leaving nothing but those closing words in the ears of his followers and Moori himself. Moori looked after his departing grandson and waved earnestly. “See my brothers?” Moori asked looking back at the other Namekians. “He is so modest… I cannot see how he could fail at being the Guardian of Earth.” Moori said bowing deeply and also departing but unlike Dende, off to his hut. The crowd was left in a mess, screaming and shouts of joy, fights broke out and Moori could only ignore it and try to sleep. “Dende is a super star in this village, and if his brother would ever so his face, he would be too.” Moori said as he lay into his straw cot and slipped into a deep sleep.
