Winter Update Suggestions

The winter update is usually added in December but I may add it around Thanksgiving this year. I am looking for suggestions on things to add. Suggestions can be as small as a new item idea or as large as a whole new system (like inscription was added). I had some ideas of my own but I never wrote them down and forgot them so hopefully this brainstorm will refresh my memory as well.

I personally think there should be a way for half-saiyans and the like to grow tails to use in battle and such. And although its probably dumb, maybe a bit of an activity bonus, like 10 zeni, something to keep people updating and posting and the like.

That's a good idea, maybe something like after 3 weeks you begin to earn +1 all stats per consecutive week of updating. So on your 4th update you earn +1 all stats. On your 5th, +2 all stats, on your 6th, +3 all stats, etc.

Perhaps an exp bonus for completing a certain number of quests. Like an extra +50 exp for your fifth completed quest.

I was also thinking of adding new level-based advantages. Like if you are level 25 you may get some special advantage.

If that were to be the case, I think it should carry over for members that have already been consistently active. Nothing is worse than seeing your loyalty unrewarded.

One suggestion I mentioned earlier was the user planet section on the wiki. This would make it easier to keep track of who has them and to what degree they are kitted out.

Planet conquering system, since it does state those of chaotic evil can conquer planets.

All of the currently unavailable techniques opened. You could incorporate your level idea here. Say for Teleport or Instant Transmission, you need to be Lv X before you can learn it.

Some more quests to the 'undeveloped' planets.

A new Gravitron. I've been stuck at 55x gravity for longer than I care to remember, when I could be going all the way up to 90x.

I'm also going to back Pan up with this one. Hybrids should be given the chance to get a tail, especially since you gave Gohan one (But not FG, despite them being the same person?). Not saying they should necessarily start with one, but there should be a way to get one.

First of all... Are any of Maverick's items available?

Second, I agree with Goten's gravity suggestion... Although you could buy two more gravity upgrades to go up to 'x65' which I noticed a few days ago...

And lastly, some suggestions of my own -

1) Oozaru. Great ape is rather restricted, with one day a month. It's kind of a useless move... Maybe there could be a certain way to have it on other days without being forced to go to Vegeta and learn Moonshine Blast.

2) Transformations. Half saiyans can usually go into a form some call "Mastered Super Saiyan" which is in between SSJ and SSJ2. Also, there should be up to SSJ3-SSJ4. Half saiyans should also have "Ultimate Super Saiyan 2" such as teen Gohan had in the Cell Games Saga, when he blew the Cell Jr's to pieces and killed Cell. Just a suggestion. Also, I noticed many other transformations are missing. Like most demons / aliens have a "True Form" or something. Maybe they learn a move called "Restrict Power" or something (such as Zarbon had) and they can cut their power in half. Their true power would grow with an extra +1 all stats or something, allowing them to revert back to full power any time they wished and gain a bonus. Stuff like that.

3) And finally... *drum roll* ... A system of even more gravity! I looked at Goten's suggestion (as mentioned above) and decided to mention this. Gravity only goes up to 'x105'. Id Goten can go up to 'x90' then we need more gravity overall! We need gravity up to 'x200' or higher! My point is; soon Goten will run out of higher levels of gravity. Then everyone else will hit the top, eventually.

Ok, but for suggestions, I think you should have made the planet conquering system when you stated that it was possible...

I think that there should be an alliance page on the wiki or something, or a ways to officially keep inventory along with zeni accumulations. From this, mods could actually check to see that the money is not 'cheated'

Next, expand the next dimension. And by this, I mean either make it better for players to die, or worse. For example, it is ideal for a beginning character to die, go to king kai's and train with weights. You get to run the snake's way, train in gravity, etc. But, you could make that even better ,by letting higher leveled people train with like the 'grand kai' or something. Or, you could make it worse by deducting the stats you get in the ND for every time you die. Either way, that's just my opinion, because the ND seems kind of lame and counterintuitive.

Oh, and I disagree with drastically increasing gravity. If you keep increasing gravity, then you're going to get a domino effect, where the very top players are exponentially stronger than everybody else. Err... that's kind of hard to understand... basically, it's like having the best person train and getting 10000 stats while a medium person trains and gets only 50. I'm not against raising it by a bit, but there has to be a limit

I agree, Trunks... But I think that there shouldn't be less stats for dieing a lot. What about the weak players fighting the strong players, and they die?

Also; I noticed that King Yemma has nothing to do with the Next Dimension but sit there. There should be a "Heaven" where warriors can go if they're good, and jumping off takes 2 weeks (like Hell). Although this sounds kind of stupid even to me... That's why going to Heaven should be a choice you can make. Same with Hell; there's not much to do.

I know the max is 60 but I'm not loosing out because 60x lies within the Gravity Level 5. Since you only get 35 all stats after training in any level of Gravity level 5, you wont get the full amount if you went and trained in 85x gravity. I want to get the full amount by training in the highest level possible in level 5 (which is 85x I believe), before moving on to level 6.

Also, Raditz, where would be the point in adding ASSJ and SSJ2 and all that crap if no one is even got SSJ yet?

Edit: Something else I've thought of. Recently, the Zolton stand has been overloaded with loads of the same items. I think that there should be a restriction in place, preventing players to sell items that Zolton already has a certain number of.

I like Goten's idea of having Level X incorporating into I.T. and stuff like that. Some techs should be opened up, but the first idea would also get more people to spar/battle/quest to get EXP.

In response to Goten's edit:

I think there was a time when zolton would only buy one of each item, but I don't know what happened to that.

For the restriction, I suggest that the money that you get for selling to zolton decreases by 10% or so for every item of that kind that it already has. Likewise, it should be cheaper to buy things if there are like 100 of them :)
(That's probably just the rules restated from a long time ago... not sure)

A weak player fighting a very strong player really doesn't make sense.. and if that weak player voluntarily fought, then I'm sure that they would have agreed to let each other live :P . If not, I feel sorry for the weaker guy lolz

Let good people sneak attack bad people. c'mon, there's no reason not to xD

Another one:

You should have to do a roleplay or make some reason to come back to life after 4 weeks in the ND. There's basically no plot behind dying and magically reviving. (example: if you go to hell, go through some kind of 'education' or break out of hell to travel back to earth. something like that)

Hmm, apparently everyone is covering a lot. Well, I have some things to say myself. Oh, and just a side note, there is one Maverick Item out, and I currently hold it(IE:Wind Scarf is mine).

1)No new transformations should come out until the latest has been cleared. Essentially, when Goten reaches SSJ, the next Saiya-jin trans should be released.

2)I think the Maverick Items should start to open up, but also add in some quests for the Maverick planet. The place is deserted(except for maybe Minosha, but I think even he left it). It needs something to do.

3)On the Oozaru, the days could potentially be increased by one or two as a full moon lasts longer then just one night. Also, I think Half Saiya-jins should be able to get tails, but only if they 1-complete a 10 post minimum Personal Saga about how they got the tail, 2-had been on the site for at least 1 month and 3-were fairly active. I'm putting out these because a tail is a fairly powerful asset as it allows the Oozaru transformation which is quite powerful.

4)The bonuses given with alignment should be more balanced out. Currently, it's much better to be evil on the site then good. ...Really, come on, being good should be equal to being evil, not lesser.

5)I disagree with having to RP to get OUT of the ND, because someone could potentially stay their for a long time and get massive gains. It would be better to have them make a short RP after 4 weeks to get out, but if they didn't you could lower gains or restrict certain things, like searching for rare items.

And finally, 6)ADD MORE TO THE ND!!!! It would help so much to add Heaven as that would help balance out the Good vs Evil and adding Grand Kai would give the powerful more incentive to go to the ND(though you could have it that someone could only train with Grand Kai by being above 30k or something and have completed a certain string of quests).

That is all I have to contribute at the moment to this topic.

In response to the quests, I can go through (as I'm now an rp monitor) and add new quests. I was thinking about that the other day.

As for Raditz superforms idea, we are currently only going up to super saiyan. They will be added later. So for now it is useless to have more super forms.

As for suggestions- some planets don't have anything to do on them so the only point to them is to get the trophy. I would either add specialty training or better quests on them.

As for the loyalty bonus'. I would say that is a good idea. 34 weeks now is a lot lol.

Increase in gravity is good. Maybe the gravity levels changed a bit so instead of encompassing 20 levels, you do like 10. So 5-10, 15-20, 25-30, 35-40 and so on. Then you can lessen some of the bonus' and increase the gravity and it may take longer.

Also maybe a technique creation system. You spend a certain amount of time researching where you can only train or something and then design your own move... maybe on a point system. Maybe 1 week of researching will give you 5 points and it can buy an ability for your technique. Or increase the damage. Techniques could be customized to be more personal. Maybe add an elemental system.

Can't you already do that...? By leveling up your fundamentals, I thought...

Anyways, I thought of something; a system where you can have certain attacks (like an "Aura" or a "Spark Aura") which would be able to give you something like a golden aura (simulated SSJ) or a red aura (simulated KaioKen), etc.

That could be useful, in addition to a transformation or a move such as a finisher or powerful advanced... You know, maybe it could be like this

"Kamehameha - Aura"

and the Kamehameha is used while a certain stat or power level (or damage, etc., you get it). Like the "KaioKen x20 Kamehameha" Goku used in the Frieza saga, you all remember...

Oh well, just got that from reading other posts.

Energy Drain (The more you spend points on this the less you use on the attack to a minimum)
Charge up type
physical type

And whatever else.

Of course this opens for breaking the system so you'd have to do like Add damage but you can't add certain abilities or charge up

Ah. What about the technique starts fundamental, then it can become more powerful after a while (or upgraded, lots of stuff like that) and become advanced...

Then, if you get 100 points or something and add it in, the move becomes your finisher? lol...

Just an add-on to your idea, Tasuda.

another suggestion would be staff benefits. there are those who do work really hard. And I think maybe you give a rating or what not and bonus' to staff who work harder. Bonus' who be based upon how much they contributed to the site. And instead of weekly, maybe do monthly like at the 1st of every month for the previous month.

Just some random suggestion I'm throwing out, even though it'll probably be ignored:

Intergalactic Black Market (or just black market)
You can buy any AVAILABLE item in the game (for example, a paladin longsword from Avalon) from ANYWHERE (like on earth) for an elevated price. That, or let them 'order' the product for a higher price and let it get to them in like a week or two (make a shipping price)

dunno, I just thought about how tedious it is to get from one place to another when you're doing a quest or saga :P

I don't see what's so rare about half of the items in the first place. All you have to do is put 2 weeks out of your life to go buy them and get back to where you were. Imo, you should just be able to get them to ship it over to you for an extremely high price. (Obviously, this price would be MORE than a person would make during that time with a side job)

But, I don't care about it how it is now. I just threw it out as an 'idea'

Another suggestion, a new battle engagement system.

In the actual DBZ thing, people didn't get to choose who they fight, so why should that be the case here. If there is someone a million times faster, stronger and more intelligent than you surely you would have to fight them at some point, like it or not.

I'm only saying this because most of the time I get replies for battles with people saying how they don’t want to die, or they are afraid their items will get stolen and this gets on my nerves. DBZ is about fighting, you should be able to battle anyone, anywhere.

I believe that we had forced battles here before, but it was removed for a reason I'm unsure of. Either way, I will second Goten's suggestion.
