Personal Saga: Satan Tournament 1 Intoduction: Krillin threw his bag on top of his bed. He began packing folded clothes into it. He was packing to go on an adventure that he didn’t happen to stumble upon or just because someone needed his help this time. He was invited to a tournament that was being held in Satan City next week and he was going at his own free will to sponsor Master Roshi’s Turtle Style. He figured that the invitations were sent to a number of low level fighters, considering this being a small tournament, so he didn’t feel too special about getting invited. Master Roshi walked in holding some clothes. “Here Krillin. This is two more of my gi’s. Eh… I figured to might need some considering the other one was destroyed in that scrap with those beasts. They have my emblem on them” Krillin smiled at Master Roshi and grabbed them. He threw them into his bag as well. Before that he had just packed in some training clothes. He didn’t even think about sponsoring his own school there. He was just pretty psyched up about the whole tournament idea. He was going to actually just partake in something that wasn’t just life or death. Plus he really wanted some of that prize money. The fights would give him a good chance on determining where he stood against the other schools too. He slipped on his jacket and then his cap. He hoisted the bag on his back and walked out. He didn’t know what Jofun was going to do while he was gone. The warrior had been staying with him and Master Roshi ever since the whole Yamin accident. Jofun would just come and go every now and again. He was always here to train with Master Roshi, though. That was good because it relieved some of the little shit off of Krillin and he wasn’t finding himself doing as many of the stupid chores that you take when you first come to train for Master Roshi. |

Krillin slept the entire cab ride that he caught from the first town on the coast after crossing the water from Master Roshi’s island. He decided that he would rest on the way there and pick up on some training. He wanted to do a little mild sparring with the other contestants to see what they were bringing to the matches. He figured that they wouldn’t show all their skill or technique, but he would get a general idea of who and what he was facing. Krillin stepped from the cab and paid the driver. He turned and looked at the city. It was enormous. He had never been anywhere quite as large as this place. Supposedly this was where the great Hercule lived. He was supposed to be the greatest human warrior in the world. Krillin had never seen the guy fight personally, but that’s what every one said. Even if the guy couldn’t fight he sure did have a lot of credibility. The man owned the largest training facility in the world and hosted quite a few tournaments. He was the one hosting the tournament that he was going to next week actually. Krillin walked up to the hotel where he and the rest of the fighters had rooms reserved for them. He was supposed to check in at the desk and go ahead and pay in there too for the tournament. It was only like 25 Zeni, but third place would walk out with almost 500 Zeni. Krillin really didn’t mind paying that amount because he figured at least making third. That all kind of went to hell when he saw the roster. There were nearly 10 names on the sheet of paper. The worst part of the matter was that the tournament was holding 16 contestants. This was really going to be a tournament on skill. Krillin didn’t even realize that there were that many novice fighters in the area. This wasn’t a world tournament. It was just supposed to be a beginner’s tournament to make a few bucks and get your name out there. |

Krillin had went to his room and dropped his stuff off there. He was supposed to be sharing his room with another contestant, but the contestant hadn’t made it there yet. That was something that Krillin did expect that finally happened. He figured that he was going to be one of the first ones there, but he wasn’t. At least he beat most of them there though. He figured that the other guys had the same idea as he did. The ones who hadn’t shown up yet must’ve been either really ignorant or just really arrogant for not wanting to come and see the competition before the tournament began. Krillin was at the gym now. Most of the warriors who were in the tournament that ha already signed up were in there training. They were all doing a few little warm ups and things. That reassured Krillin a little. He guessed that they had only got there a little before he did. They weren’t just jumping into the training thing fists a swinging. They were actually all taking their time and playing it smart. They didn’t seem so much like ruffians either. That helped Krillin’s mind a little and it also hurt his plans a bit. The people that were in this tournament held some talent with them He wasn’t going to just be fighting some boys off the street who talked tougher than they fought like the two he ran into that day he went for Master Roshi’s porn. Krillin dropped his bag off and started to change into his training gear. It was just simple gym shorts that were red, a blue tank, and some strap up shoes. On top of those he wore some ankle weights and wrist weights. That way he could do a little more with the simple punches and kicks he would throw at the bags. After changing he walked over to a bag and started hammering away at it just minding his own. |

After awhile of just training with himself Krillin decided to take a break and watch some of the other fighters. Some more had came in while he was training and it seemed that most of the people in the tournament were there training now. He only took a brief moment of thinking which one of them would be his roommate. He didn’t put too much thought into it though. The person really wouldn’t be that important unless it was just some really obnoxious person. He hated people that talked too much that he didn’t know. There were a few that caught his eye. Some of them he could tell knew what the hell they were doing there. He separated them all into classes of his own. He viewed himself a pretty decent fighter but he classed himself as a moderate for tournament sake. He did that so he would expect more from the others instead of getting full of himself and getting surprised in the long run. It seemed that he was a little better than most. This was his examination purely on their training alone. He realized that they would be holding back. He just didn’t know how much they were. Three of the fighters there really caught his eye, however. Two of them were training together and wore the same dojo logo on their clothes. They seemed overly sponsored too. Everything they had was embroidered with the logo. They were defiantly showing off for whatever style or company they fought for. They were pretty damn good in Krillin’s eyes. He hoped that they were giving it their all though because if they were just showing off then he was in trouble. The third one was a man who stayed in the ring. He was getting challenged left and right by others in the room. He didn’t say much, but he seemed arrogant in every move he made. Sadly, Krillin didn’t think it was arrogance. It looked more like confidence. |

Krillin had trained a bit more after his rest and headed back to his room. He needed a shower and he wanted to get some early rest before tomorrow. He wanted to hit the gym early. He wanted to get up there before anyone else did so that he could train fully for a bit so no one else could watch him. He also wanted to hit the town up too tomorrow. There really wasn’t a point in coming all this way if he couldn’t enjoy his self. This might be the only time he’ll be here for years. He didn’t know when he might ever get a chance to come up here. After all his room and food was paid for. When Krillin walked into his room he walked into a straight mess. There were empty and half-eaten bowels of all sorts of food piled up. The whole table was covered with them. Whoever his roommate was they had an appetite. Krillin figured the guy was enormous. Anyone who could eat that much would have to be. Krillin shut the door behind him and dropped his bag. “Wh-What the…?” From behind the bowels popped up a head. It was a small white face with a huge smile plastered on it. His cheeks were rosy and the area around his smile was covered in the remains of the meals he had and was still munching down on. Krillin recognized the person instantly. It was none other then his friend Chaozu. The little guy was his roommate and in the tournament. Krillin couldn’t believe the coincidence. “What the hell man? I didn’t know you were coming to this thing. I figured you were going to be too busy with Buu or something.” Krillin picked his bag up and threw it on the bed. He walked over and sat at the table with his dear old friend who had slid him a bowel. Krillin started to chow down with Chaozu listening who explained that Buu was there too. |

The Legend
|
Kami’s Lookout was the main place Chaozu did most of his training at the time. Master Roshi spent more than enough time on Krillin, and had barely anytime for Chaozu. It never really anger Chaozu about that, especially when Kami pointed out his Pendulum Room. The Pendulum Room was exciting to Chaozu, couldn’t he couldn’t win his fight and it was always a challenge. Plus it kept him on his wits against two fighters. There was never any words spoken against these fighters; one reason was because it wasn’t real but that made all the more better for Chaozu. After finishing one day Chaozu proceeded to leave Kami’s Lookout Tower to head back to Master Roshi’s like always when he was stopped by Mr.Popo. “Hey Chaozu, Kami is looking for you” spoke the softly toned Mr.Popo. Chaozu looked surprised to hear that, so he turned to walk back into the house. Looking around for Kami, Chaozu ran into the kitchen. Kami had Mr.Popo make a meal for them while they spoke about his next assignment. “Come sit Chaozu” spoke Kami. Chaozu nodded with his head as he walked to over to pull the other chair out from under the table. Sitting down Chaozu took a sip of the drink that was in front of him. Kami looked surprised to see that Chaozu wasn’t worn out like he normally was from the Pendulum Room. “I see that you’re getting stronger Chaozu. Maybe soon you’ll be able to succeed in the Pendulum Room” spoke Kami. Chaozu looked up at Kami with a blank stare on his face. “Now then, I have a little bit of a different type of training for you. Would you like to hear it? I think it will show how far you have grown through these Pendulum training” spoke Kami. Chaozu’s ears lifted up as he looked over at Kami. Every time Chaozu heard different and training in one sentence; it sent a smile a crossed his face. “Always Master Kami” happily spoke Chaozu. Kami looked down at Chaozu, as he was always proud of this small warrior. “Ok then, I have an invitation for you to go to this tournament. Now if I give it to you, you have to let me know you will control you rage Chaozu” spoke Kami. Chaozu’s face dropped because he knew that was still the issue he’s been fighting for the longest time. Starring at Kami, Chaozu replied “I promise Kami, this time I will control it”. Kami looked at Chaozu and remember the last time Chaozu said that to him. Let it be known that Chaozu lost control and almost killed Buu. Thinking to himself Kami thought this would be a good way for Chaozu to also get out of the Pendulum and fight in the fresh air for a little bit. As there meal was finish Kami handed Chaozu the small enveloped that contained Chaozu’s invitation. “Here you go, now head down there to take a taxi to the town” told Kami. Chaozu nodded and jetted out like a dog chasing a mail man. Jumping off of Kami’s Lookout Chaozu had the biggest smile ever. As Kami and Mr.Popo stood watching Chaozu fly towards the ground, Kami said “That boy got good spirit in him”. |

The Legend
|
Flying down to the ground Chaozu was the happiest man alive. He hasn’t felt like this in along time. The thought of fighting other warriors to see who is the strongest just fills his heart up with joy. Soaring down to the ground, Choazu landed on his feet on a side walk. The streets where busy at this time, so Chaozu knew it wouldn’t be that difficult to get a taxi cab. Knowing that Chaozu will have more than enough time to get to the hotel. Chaozu walked down to the corner store to grab himself a soda. Looking up at the counter, Chaozu pointed out the coke to the cashier. Dropping the zeni on the table, Chaozu walked back to point out a taxi. Lifting his finger in the air, Chaozu whistled out to a cab. As a cab stopped near the side of the sidewalk, Chaozu ran over to open the back door to hop in the back seat. “Where you going” spoke the Taxi Drive. Chaozu looked at the Taxi driver has he said “To Satan City”. “Satan City, aight be about and hour or two. Depending on the traffic” spoke the Taxi Driver. Chaozu nodded as he put his head on the window to take a quick nap. “Wake up” yelled the Taxi driver as he stopped the vehicle along a sidewalk in front of a hotel. Chaozu got out the car, as he threw some zeni on passenger seat of the cab. Chaozu turned around to stare up at the hotel; the cab behind him sped off leaving smoke behind him. “Man the hotel is huge” spoke the amazed Chaozu. Before Chaozu could pick his bags, a man in red grabbed up his suit cases. “Come with me young man” spoke the Door man. The door man showed Chaozu the way as he took him to the front desk. “Hey, are you here for the tournament” spoke the attendant. “Yes sir, can I get a room” asked Chaozu? The attendant put a smile on his face as he spoke “Each fighter has to take up a roommate that has already been hand picked. Matter of fact yours has already checked in”. Chaozu smiled at the fact that his roommate is already here. “Twenty-five zeni for the room” spoke the attendant. Chaozu put the zeni on the counter, as he waited for his room key. The attendant handed Chaozu the key and said “Room 215 sir”. Chaozu nodded as the door man took his bag’s up to his room. As they enter room 215, Chaozu’s face sprang with a smile that ran from cheek to cheek. “Look at this room how big it is, and my bed….o man my bed is huge” amazingly shouted Chaozu. “Why yes sir, this is one of the best hotels is Satan City. This was hand picked by Mr. Satan himself. O he’s such a great man, I wish there was more than one of him. Anyways if you need anything just call us and we will come to your service” spoke the Door man. Nodding at the Door man Chaozu began to UN pack his things. This was one of Chaozu’s major pet peeves. After getting all of his cloths unpacked, Chaozu began to jump and down on the bed like a little kid. “HeHe….Master Roshi wouldn’t let me do this at home” spoke Chaozu. After getting bored, Chaozu decided to walk around Satan City to see what they have here. This maybe is only time coming here, Chaozu wanted to check things out. |

The Legend
|
Chaozu walked out his room, ready for a good over view of the city. He knew this wasn’t a vacation but before he began his training tomorrow. He hated how he was on the second floor because he didn’t really feel like walking up and down the steps. Chaozu knew he really would get much sleep because he was anxious about the fights up ahead. This is how Chaozu always is, because he likes to get his mind set for pure battling. As Chaozu walked out the door, he could smell the dirty air from all the pollution. Chaozu was used to the clean fresh air of the forest or sky. Not all these building and power plants but he knew what he was doing here. After he finished this tournament Chaozu knew he was head back to Kami’s lookout for more training. Walking down the street, Chaozu so many store in which he normally would love to stop in but he knew his money wasn’t right at the time. When he saw a martial arts store, Chaozu stopped in his place. His eyes got real big and his mouth dropped to the floor. “O my god…. It’s a martial arts store” screamed Chaozu. Walking up to the building Chaozu began to shiver from butterflies in his stomach. The excitement began to run through his entire body as he entered the building. There where many swords, staffs, and other necessarily weapons that where hanging on the wall. When Chaozu walked to the back he saw, the greatest spot of his life. “Where did they get all of these pieces of training equipment from” asked Chaozu? Chaozu reached in his back pocket to pull out his wallet. When he opened it up, a couple of butterflies flew out of it. Chaozu’s face began to drop from how broke he was. “I wish I was rich like other people. Maybe I can rob a bank real quick. Nah, which would be mean because I was stealing from other. Well hopefully I win this tournament, because if I do I’m running right back here to buy some equipment. With Chaozu’s face dropped to the ground he began to walk out the store. Looking down the street Chaozu saw many other store and buildings down further. “Well, now let’s keep on walking” spoke Chaozu. Looking around, there were many people walking out and about. There seemed to be a festival going on for the tournament. As Chaozu walked further down the street, he noticed a big stadium up ahead of him. “Man that’s a pretty big stadium, I hope that’s where we are fighting” spoke Chaozu. There where many banners hanging up around the city. Many balloons where tied off next to street lights. Chaozu thought that this looked more like a show than fighting, but he need the money now and plus it’s always about the competition ahead. |

The Legend
|
After Chaozu, hung out in the town a bit, he decides it was a good time to head back to the town. “Well now, it’s getting a little late its time for me to head back to the hotel” spoke Chaozu. As he walked down the street many of the people began to clear up. A lot of the stores started to close and lock there doors. Chaozu heard some music playing loud in the back round. As he neared the hotel, Chaozu noticed a band playing on a big open stage. Forgetting about the eating and sleeping part Chaozu decide to check it out. There was many town folks lounging around the stage, drinking and screaming at the stage. There were about five security guards hanging around the stage to make sure none of the people got a little too heck-tick. This was amazing to Chaozu, because the only time he has ever seen one of these was on T.V while Master Roshi snored on the couch. Chaozu went over to grab him a beer to enjoy the scenery a little better. Unable to get real close to the stage because it was too packed, Chaozu decide to hang in the back. The music was awesome to Chaozu, as the band add lights and smoke going off the stage. When Chaozu finished his beer he decided it was time to bounce and head back to the hotel. Throwing his beer in the trash Chaozu, walked towards the hotel entrance. As Chaozu walked through the door, the door man said “How was your day and did you like the city”? Chaozu smile and said “I had fun, and they have many many things here”. When Chaozu walked to the stairs he looked over to see the gym door. Chaozu walked over there to see if he could catch a glimpse of any of the other fighters in there. Looking through the door window, Chaozu saw that there were many fighters using the equipment in there. “This is going to be awesome” spoke Chaozu. As he went to turn around the door swung open and smacked Chaozu a crossed the face. Rubbing his face quickly, Chaozu watched as two holding a conversation kept walking away as if nothing just happened. “I hope there in the tournament, I’m going to show them a thing or two” angrily spoke Chaozu. Picking himself off the ground Chaozu began to walk up the stairs to his room. |

The Legend

Reaching his room, Chaozu slid the plastic card through the lock. His roommate was still not in the room at the time Chaozu got back. “Well, I was going to wait for him to order food, but o well” spoke Chaozu. Chaozu walked through the room to find the phone. Picking up the phone, Chaozu dialed the number 0. “Hello sir, this is the front desk. How can I help you” spoke the front desk? Chaozu cleared his throat has he spoke “Yea can I order one of everything on the menu”? “WHHHAAATTTT” replied the door man. “You want one of everything, who do you want me to charge this too” spoke the door man? Chaozu had a big question mark over top of his head trying to figure out to charge this to. “Charge it to Mr. Satan” replied Chaozu. “Mr. Satan, will do sir. Your food will be up in about thirty minutes, thank you sir” spoke the door man. As Chaozu’s stomach started to growl he decides to take a shower to get it off his mind. The shower was too hot, but wasn’t too cold. The shower was pretty good and very relaxing to Chaozu. As Chaozu exited the shower and got dressed there was a knock at the door. As Chaozu answered it, about three food carts came crashing through the door. As the three guys put the food down on the table they awaited a tip from Chaozu. They held there hands out in front of there chest as they stared at Chaozu. “O you want a tip? Hmmm Mr. Satan will take care of it” spoke Chaozu to the three gentlemen. Chaozu didn’t want to be ignorant towards his roommate but his stomach was growling way too much to wait. Sitting in the chair behind all the bowls, Chaozu started scarfing the plates down like a trash compactor. When the door opened up, Chaozu paid in no mind because he was too focused on his food. Before Chaozu could look up he heard “Wha….tha…hell”. Chaozu poked his head out from behind the bowls to see a small bald head guy. Chaozu couldn’t believe it that Krillin was his roommate. As Krillin walked over to the bed he started asking Chaozu many of different question as if he had a lot on his mind. Chaozu began to answer each of the questions as they came at him. The main question Krillin wanted to know what happened to Buu. Chaozu started to reply with “Last time I saw Buu was when we fought. I assumed he was mad at me on what happened. There were many of times I wanted to talk to him but didn’t want to intrude on him but I haven’t seen him in awhile though”. While telling Krillin all of this, Chaozu pushed a bowl over to Krillin. Krillin was scarfing this bowl down, as Chaozu explained what happened to Buu. |

Bane of Creation

Buu was so tired that he didn’t even bother to knock on the door of Kame house he just slumped into on of Master Roshi’s sun loungers and watched the ways roll in on the tranquil little beach. Resting his weary head in his hand Buu watched the seagulls in the sky cawing to each other as they glided about the rich sapphire blue sky. With the sand glittering and sparkling in the wholesome sunlight and the sound of the waves washing the beach in his ear Buu feel asleep in that comfy chair. When Buu awoke it was dark outside but still it had remained warm on the little island as it did most of the year. Buu slowly opened his and closed eyes letting them adjust to the lack of light which didn’t take long. For though it was night time it was not dark as the sky was a clear as it had been in the day and the stars shone forth as if they were illuminated diamonds. Buu could hear the familiar sounds of late nights on the little island Master Roshi lecherous laughs of joy, the repetitive 1and 2 of some exercise video in the background the waves gentle caressing the sand and the scolding’s of Master Roshi’s companion Turtle. Buu looked up into the deep navy blue sky and thought about his purpose, He wanted strength he wanted to know everything and ascended to great and powerful heights but you had to walk be for you could run and compared to some of the powers he had felt flowing about so freely on this planet he couldn’t even crawl. Buu knew he had been created to bring destruction to the universe but why had his creator felt the universe need destroying. Buu felt he had been travelling around the world of his live with only a quarter of a map. |

Bane of Creation

Buu turn his back on the beauty of the perfect night no longer feeling content with his mere existence but with hunger in his heart for power and a purpose on which to focus him. Buu felt disturbed by these new realisation wanted to go back to the days were he had seem the world though simpler eyes. Life had only been a series of short term wants, each one easily fulfilled and then pushed aside to make way for the next. Buu thought back trying to pin down the time when these thoughts had originated. Buu chuckled to himself finally dawning on the answer, it was so obvious that he had been missing it completely. Kami’s Lookout and that wretched Pendulum room. The ancient guardian said it would help him change and grow in more ways than one, this is what he had meant. If this sudden growth of mind was the true intent of that room then was Green doomed from the moment that he entered. Buu groaned to himself and grasped his head tight with his small hands. He couldn’t handle this new world of complex thought and consequence and wished it would all go away. Buu wish for the simple days but he knew no matter how much he wished this would not be so not even Shenron had that kind of power. “I have no true past” said Buu “I don’t have anything except want I am now” muttered the Buu as he looked down at his hand “So I shall be all I can be and to do that I need to not be weak, or blind to the power of others any longer” Buu looked out to the sparkling sea and glittering starry sky and raised his hands above his head “I will become strong and the universe will be mine to protect or damn. I will gain power and deliver my own justice” said Buu clenching his fists and flexing his biceps. “Who there sonny” interrupted Roshi in his friendly yet firm voice. “Have you forgotten what you said at the start?” asked Roshi receiving no answer Roshi continued “You said you would not remain blind to the power of other and so I have and I idea.” |

“What is it master?” said Buu as he bowed to his sensei. Buu was embarrassed that he had been caught mid rant by his teacher but such things couldn’t be helped. “Well boy I have a challenge for you. You will fly to west city then make you way down to an Satan City but you can only travel by your own power and you are forbidden to fly.” Said the old master raising a warning finger at the demon “Once you get to the city you will enter the tournament there.” Buu was intrigued he had never travelled by any other way apart from flight and wondered what this challenge would require of him. “This sounds fun” said Buu. Buu stood there no saying any thing pondering over the idea and scratch his chin “Yes” and with that Buu jumped into the air and flew off in the direction of West City. Flying through the night air so crisp and fresh Buu rode a warm current of air right to the northern outskirts of West city, wasting no time in starting his journey. Buu looked up at the sky again to remind him of that night’s revelation that had taken him by surprise not long ago. Walking thought the deserted streets the little terror that was Buu started to whistle. Yes thought the grinning Buu things had begun to look much brighter. Buu continued to walk through West city that night and into the early hours of the morning. As dawn broke and golden sunshine filled the sky more and more shops opened and people began venturing into the streets. So caught up in watching everyday city life Buu did not make it out of West City until later in the day and yet he had been walking all day only really stopping once to buy a new cloak that was thick and as dark of the heart of a black hole because once again he had left his a Master Roshi’s. |

Come to think of it it had been on the back of the sofa that his master always sat on when watching his exercise videos? Buu cringed to himself as a shudder ran down his spine. That cloak was lost forever because hell for infinite losers knew what would be behind that sofa is he moved it and there was no way he was putting his hand behind there without seeing clearly what he was reaching towards. Buu continued travelling over the rough terrain climbing over mountains, negotiating cliff faces and jumping gorges all the while trying to make sure he never let his power level go over 100. It was hard for the demon how was so used to performing feats that would leave most mortal dazzled but some how he managed it. Buu travel with out food or water and largely without rest until he arrived at a large cave from which he could see Satan City. Hungry and frustrated with how little he could do in this powered down state and how having such a low power out put could make even the simplest tasks an arduous chore he could understand why his master had told him to travel like this, it was challenging. the challenge had made Buu ravenous and so he sat down and rummaged in his pockets for something to snack on. After doing the traditional raiding my own pockets but I don’t know what is in them dance (don’t look at me like that you guys know what I mean, we have all done it) Buu clasped his hand round something that just shouldn’t be there. Buu pulled out a small parcel and looked at it with a bemused expression. After a moment of restraint Buu could help himself and ripped the parcel open inside was 100 zenni, a letter, a mask, some gloves, and a shirt and was it possible yes HOTDOGS! |

Buu chomped down on the hotdog sausages while reading the letter it read
Buu gulped down the last hotdog as he folded the letter back up and put it in his pocket. He then began getting dressed slowly so to let his food go down. Buu felt like a new person behind the black wrestlers mask it was a good feeling that caused him to grin from ear to ear matching the grin on the out side of the mask.in his new white karate shirt and black gloves upon his hands Buu felt energised almost like a super hero. “Right Satan city” said the demon “Get ready for Buu” said the demon as he strode towards the large bustling metropolis. Buu wasted not time in finding his way to his hotel. He was in awe of how every person worked together like cogs in a machine and spent an excessive amount of time spinning back and forth watching people rush around him “Yes Sir?” asked the attendant at the front desk. “Who me?” asked Buu not quite sure what was going on “I’m here to fight?” inquired the masked monster that was Buu. “No not now Sir!” said the attendant “I am meant to be given 25 zenni by you and then get some one show you to your room” Buu handed over a wad of bills and grinned. |

Training… Krillin hit the gym early the next morning. He didn’t feel like bringing Choazu or Buu with him because they were going to be his opponents in the upcoming matches. He knew that they were stronger than him, so he didn’t want to show him everything he knew. He figured that he would be fighting one of the two before the end of the tournament. He hated the idea, but loved it all the same. He would love a chance to see where he stood against them in a real match. He had seen them both fight and veiwed them as above the average warriors. Krillin started his little training routine as the same as yesterday. He threw his training clothes on and started hitting the bags. He had got quite a bit of training done before he noticed the three fighters that he picked out from yesterday were there. He hoped they weren’t there too long so that he didn’t give off his potential. He wanted to really take his opponents by surprise. Krillin had lowered his training a little for an hour or so until one of them approached him. It was a man named Koche. He was around six feet tall and pretty slender. He wore a white karate suit and some training wraps that were tightly banded around his hands. The man looked to be a local in the area. He had the same similarities as Hercule, who had posters of him self, all around the gym. The man had frizzy black hair and his skin color was naturally tanned. The man, Koche, finally spoke up. “Hey. My name is Koche. I assume you’re here for the tournament, eh?” The man had a deep voice. It really didn’t fit his look at all. Krillin expected him to be more soft spoken. It sort of took him by surprise when he spoke to him. |

Training… Krillin turned to him. “Yeah, sure am. You too I guess since you know about it, right?” “Yeah. I’m in slot 1-B. I’ll be your first opponent in the tournament.” Koche spoke politely. He didn’t seem as if he was coming forward to Krillin to insult him or anything that would be considered negatively. He enjoyed that thought. It looked as if this tournament was going to be pretty clean. It would almost be like a break for Krillin in a way. That was a thought that Krillin decided was well needed and deserved. He was really getting tired of the bullshit of here lately. He especially dispised that little mess with the whole Yamin thing. He was glad that he met a new ally and friend from it though. He sort of liked Jofun’s company from time to time. “Oh yeah? I take it that I’m 1-A then?” Krillin asked. “Yeah. I as just coming over here to see if you wanted to train a bit. I don’t have a partner or anything and it seemed like a pretty neat idea. You’ll learn just as much as I am. You learn a little about my style, I’ll learn a little about yours. It’ll be like a win/lose situation, you know?” “Yeah I get you.” Krillin took off his ankle weights and wrist weights. “I’m up for some pretty decent training. I’ve been kind of cut short here lately.” Krillin and Koche walked over to a mat. They both slipped off their shoes and began to spar. It was some pretty light sparring in Krillin’s mind. It wasn’t any heavy blows or anything. Plus they were both wearing gloves and padded shin guards. It felt good to just playfully fight for once. The two spars that he had been in he had been hurt pretty badly. The last one, Chaozu had shot a hole through his shoulder. Krillin looked at that more of a battle than a spar. |

Training… Krillin left the hotel about noon that day. He decided that he wasn’t going to eat there at the hotel that day. He wanted to just go get a hot dog from a stand or something and go check out the city. He was a little sore from the spar, which was a good sign. He needed the training. He wouldn’t do much more than that though before the tournament. He wanted to make damn sure that he was well rested and fully rehabilitated for the tournament. The city was amazing in every aspect. The buildings there were stories upon stories. Until then Krillin had only bee to tiny villages and towns where the biggest building was like two stories and wooden. The strrets were busy and cars were zipping all around on the paved streets and highways. He couldn’t even keep track of all that was happening at once. He didn’t stay long out there though. After he ate his hot dog he went to a few stores and then back to the gym for more training. Krillin hit the floor hard with training. This time he brought something out that wasn’t ever seen in that gym before. At first he felt goofy because of the way he looked. Plus everyone in the gym was staring at him crazily at what he was wearing. He was training in the giant tortoise shell that Master Roshi always had him training in. It looked stupid, but it worked surprisingly well. It was much better than any sort of weights that he could strap on and train in. A guy stepped in front of Krillin as he ran back and forth doing a few sprints to work on his speed. It was the guy that was getting challenged the other day in the ring. The guy was the one that Krillin viewed as confident and not overly arrogant. It was the guy that Krillin really didn’t want to face in the tournament. The way the man greeted him, though, it didn’t look like he would. It looked like he was going to face him now. |

Training… The man’s name was Ryogo. He was a fighter from the crane school. Krillin knew of the school well. It was a sister school to the Turtle Style. Krillin had heard that assassin’s were trained in that art. Many great warriors had came from that school and most made quite big names in tournaments or no name at all as assassin’s, which meant they were damn good at their job. Ryogo defiantly fit in one of those categories. He was with no doubt an excellent fighter as far as Krillin could tell. “Hey…” Krillin stopped and looked up at the guy. “Huh?” “You’re that guy that Master Roshi is teaching, eh?” “Yeah. I’m one of them. There’s a few of us actually. I don’t know if I’m ‘that’ guy, but I might be.” Krillin said jokingly. He noticed that Ryogo wasn’t sharing in the laugh, however. The guy just stood there in a stern look towering over Krillin. His face motionless and held in a blank expression like stone. Krillin’s laugh went from constant in to a sort of stuttering type of chuckle. “I’ll be your second opponent in the tournament…” Ryogo said with a confident tone of voice. “Huh? How do you know that? You haven’t even beaten your opponent yet?” “Because I’m not from your silly school, boy? I’m from the Crane School. We don’t lose. I don’t lose.” Ryogo stepped off then. He left Krillin just standing there with his threat. He couldn’t believe that the guy was that full of himself. Krillin was cocky sometimes, but never that much. He showed his talents off sometimes, but only to those he knew he could beat. That was a mistake in the fight with Yamin, which he reminded himself. He swore he wouldn’t try to make that mistake. He hoped that Choazu learned a little from that too. It was a lesson that was a hard one to learn. |

Training… Krillin do anything all day that day. Tomorrow was the tournament and he was almost healed. He didn’t want to be sore for it at all tomorrow. He was going to fight Koche, the man he sparred with the other day. He liked training with that guy. He was anything like that ass Ryogo. Krillin would enjoy the first match, but saw him hating the second. He especially would hate it if Ryogo won the match. It would only feed the fool’s ego even more. He had already had a big enough ego and Krillin didn’t want to over feed it. Krillin rolled over in bed. He noticed that it was pretty late in the afternoon. He couldn’t just stay there in his room all day. He needed to get out and do something. He was sure that there was something to do out there in the city that wouldn’t be threatening to his body before the tournament. Then again he was Krillin and no matter what he ever did there was always something that would go wrong. No matter where he went something happened. That being said something could happen while he just sat around in the room too. Krillin pushed himself out of his bed. He threw on his typical civilian attire, which were the tan slacks, green and yellow jacket, the matching baseball cap that went with it. After those were thrown on he brushed his teeth shaved his head. Just because this was his day off didn’t mean he didn’t have to look bad. He gave himself a grin, which sparkled and left the room. That whole day and night was nothing more, but a walk around the city. He went to some stores for Master Roshi and bought the fool a few gifts. One was a tacky Hawaiian shirt and the other a DVD player with a porno DVD. That would be new for Master Roshi. It would most defiantly spice up is sex life. He even bought himself a few new clothes. He just ate at some resturant and then went back to the hotel. It was a day with nothing wrong. Krillin felt very much accomplished and saw it as a good omen for the tournament tomorrow. |

The Legend
|
Chaozu woke up a little late the next morning. Chaozu rolled over his bed to notice Krillin was already gone. Knowing Krillin with his determination he was already in the gym training. Every time Chaozu tried to get out of bed it was a struggle. The mattress was soft as a bunch of feathers in a pile. There on top of the bed was a big, long white comforter. The bed was a queen size bed, and with Chaozu’s little body it was a double king size bed. Finally after arguing with himself for about a half hour, Chaozu decided to get up. Always on his list was to take care of his bathroom needs. Walking in the bathroom was a toilet, a stand up shower, and a little sink that had a mirror on top of it. Chaozu saw that Krillin left a mess of hair on the sink. “Hmmm, now I know who’s leaving hair all over the place in the bathroom back home” spoke Chaozu. Chaozu and Master Roshi always argued who left the hair in the sink. After Chaozu finished getting ready it was time for him to go grab some grub. Walking down to the first floor Chaozu enter the breakfast lobby. There was a decent amount of people sitting there eating. Chaozu walked around to see each of the selections. Grabbing him a quick bite, Chaozu just grabbed some bread and milk. Morning time for eating isn’t Chaozu’s favorite thing to do. After finishing his quick meal, Chaozu had a few options of places to train. He knew if he went to the gym it would be pack as if he was shopping on black Friday. Many fights would brake out or other fighters would be able to see some of his skills. The other places would be for Chaozu to look and find a nice decent spot on the out skirts of town. Chaozu decided to go for the out skirts of town. Walking out of the hotel Chaozu looked around the area to pick a direction to go. The best way Chaozu thought would be to fly somewhere safe away from everyone. Floating in the air, Chaozu soared a crossed the city. There Chaozu saw a lake, which had a water fall near it. As Chaozu flew down, he could feel a sense of home in this area. “This would be a good place for me to start my training” spoke Chaozu. Taking off his shirt, and laying it on a rock by the lake Chaozu began his powering up. Since this was the first of five days, Chaozu didn’t want to push his limits to hard. Gathering his ki together Chaozu, only powered up to half his power level. Standing by the lake, Chaozu began to charge up his Dodonpa. Holding the charge as long as he could, Chaozu released a cross the water aiming for a tree that hung out the water. Control his beam, Chaozu pushes and pushed till his Dodonpa smashed through the tree breaking it in half. Chaozu already knew he was pretty skilled with his Dodonpa as he used it many times in his spars. Now would be a great time to do some push-ups and curl ups. After doing a couple of sets Chaozu began running up and down the side of the waterfall, catching his stamina up to par. The little bit of cigarettes he does smoke, still has a decent affect on his body. As the sun went down Chaozu knew it was time for him to head back to the hotel for some rest. Chaozu flew back to the hotel at a decent pace. Walking through the entrance and up the stairs, Chaozu began wondering how Krillin was doing. As he opened the door quietly not to disturbed Krillin, if he was sleeping Chaozu ran right to the bathroom. Chaozu began to take a shower to relax his mind and body and focus on all the training he accomplished today. When Chaozu finished, he laid down on his comfortable bed, to pass out quickly without any hesitation. |

The Legend
|
All night Chaozu snored from never being this relaxed in a bed. He was so comfortable lying in this bed. As a loud beeping noise woke him up, Chaozu smacked the alarm clock to turn it off. Looking over, Chaozu said “Well Krillin’s at it again I guess. You know they say the early bird gets the worm”. Doing his normal routine, Chaozu went and head towards the bathroom. There was a letter on the sink that had Chaozu written on the front. As Chaozu opened it said: Dear Chaozu, Sorry about the hair on the sink. I was in such a Hurry to hit the gym before anyone; it just kind of slipped my mind. P.S I sparred this guy yesterday and it was better than when I and you sparred. (Chaozu chuckled) Plus the guy didn’t try to kill me like you did but sorry again. Always, Krillin “That Krillin he always makes me laugh and it was an accident. How many times do I have to tell him that” spoke Chaozu. Chaozu began getting ready to start his training off. After taking a shower and going to get some breakfast, Chaozu decided to hit the gym off. He wanted to basically see what type of competition he had, and what he had to do to prepare. As he walked through the gym doors, Chaozu noticed that there was a decent amount of fighters in there. They where all after the same cause Chaozu was, to win the tournament and make that prize money. Chaozu being the small size he was made a lot of guy’s stair at him. With a smile a crossed his face, Chaozu knew this was always an advantage for him. Every fighter that fights him always looks at size and weight, and never intelligence and determination. Chaozu began doing his stretches, to where he wouldn’t pull any muscles. This is a main training piece to Chaozu. He never wants to go in a fight and loose because he pulls a muscle. After getting his stretches out the way, Chaozu wanted to try his luck on the punching bag. The punching bag sat over in the corner by itself. Not very many of the fighters used it, because they wanted to show how strong they where by numbers on the machines. At this moment it was free so Chaozu headed that way. As Chaozu reached the punching bag he noticed that it was a bit old. Duck tape was a crossed the middle of it. It look as if was a red-ish color, but being used for so long, that it was beginning to fade. The first thing Chaozu need to do was to get it down to his size. “See this is why I’m going to get a personal gym” angrily spoke Chaozu. Floating to the top of the bag, Chaozu began to UN tie the chain that was hanging the punching bag. Holding it up with one hand, Chaozu lowered it to where he could have no problems hitting it. As soon as Chaozu landed to the ground he felt many people starring at him. He looked behind him to see that all the fighters stopped to stare at the 4 foot 7 inch little man hold up a punching bag with one hand. Paying no attention to them, Chaozu turned around to begin smashing the bag with combos. Chaozu feet and hands where angrily hitting the bag as if they had something against it. The bag was doing a good job holding its own against Chaozu attacks. For a final hit, Chaozu round house kicked the bag, making the chain brake and the bag smash up against the wall. “Ooop” Chaozu said while covering his mouth. Re-adjusting the bag Chaozu decide he had enough training the day, and wanted to go relax in the pool. When ever thing was all said and done Chaozu headed back to his roommate to pass out for another training day. |

The Legend
|
The next day Chaozu heard the alarm going off again, but this time he hit the snooze button a couple of times. At around 9:30 am Chaozu decided to wake up. Standing on the side of his bed he could feel the soars of his muscles. A loud sound like a bear hibernating was coming from the bed beside him. Chaozu looked over to see that Krillin was still sleeping in his bed. “Hehe, I guess this waking up early is starting to get to the guy” softly spoke Chaozu. Trying not to awake Krillin, Chaozu rushed to get ready, and get out of the room as quick and possible without awaking his fellow comrade. Opening and closing the door slowly Chaozu walked back down to the first floor of the hotel. Looking about, Chaozu saw that it wasn’t as crowded as normal. “I guess a lot of the warriors are tired from showing off and now need there beauty sleep” spoke Chaozu. “Hmmm, bump eating here i'm going to go have a better meal today” said Chaozu. Walking up to the attendant Chaozu asked where he could find a good place to dine at. After getting some good directions, Chaozu headed that way. Walking up, Chaozu saw that he could site outside and get waited on. This would be better he felt, instead of being all cramped up. After eating a good meal, Chaozu decided to work on his speed. Floating in the air, Chaozu began to fly around as fast as he could. Dodging and jumping from side to side, Chaozu began to push most of his ki towards his legs. “A true fighter is able to wield and mold his ki in any direction. Master Kami taught me that one” spoke Chaozu. Holding his right palm out, Chaozu charge up a single ball. Bringing his arm back, Chaozu threw the fireball as far as he could. Using his power fly, Chaozu flew as fast as he could towards the ball. Getting in front of it, Chaozu caught the ball and threw it back in the other direction. Chaozu did this for a little bit until he could feel the burn in his arms. With a quick change in training, Chaozu began jumping and throwing kicks in different directions. With his speed, Chaozu was able to move quickly a cross the sky with only leaving a red streak behind him. When he felt his training was done here, Chaozu head back to the hotel to hit the gym up for more leg training. As he walked in the gym, there was more fighters up and about than as before. Chaozu waited in line for bout thirty minutes before he was able to use the leg press. Putting as many weight as he could on it Chaozu pushed up using only his legs. “This is too easy” spoke Chaozu. The fighters around Chaozu was amazed at how this little warrior could possess so much power. The other warriors began add more and more weight until they maxed out on weights in the gym. After Chaozu got bored with the gym, he headed over towards the sauna, to get some relaxation. As the day grew to an end Chaozu headed towards his room to order some room service, but before it could get there Chaozu was passed on his bed all curled up in the covers. |

The Legend
|
The night before Chaozu forgot to set the alarm, so he woke up a little late. Jumping out of bed, Chaozu noticed that the sun was shinning bright through the window. Seeing that Krillin was still curled up in bed like a baby, Chaozu knew he need not disturbed him. He got ready quickly and headed out the room. Chaozu felt today was one of those days that he need not push himself on to training so quickly. He knew what tomorrow was in stored for him, so today he was going to take a brake from it all. Grabbing a muffin and some orange juice from the breakfast table, Chaozu headed out the hotel while eating it on the way. Chaozu wanted to see the city one last time before his mind was purity focused on the tournament. Floating in the air, Chaozu began to fly round the city. “Man this is a big city, I’ve only seen it on T.V but never thought it would be this big” spoke Chaozu. Looking down below him, Chaozu could tell that this was a busy city all the time. Kind of like a city that never sleeps sort of speak. Traffic was heavy, and a lot of horns would make an aggravating sound all day. It fills Chaozu’s heart at times that he knew how to fly, instead of driving in cars. It was an easy transportations, and less expansive. The stadium that Chaozu noticed when he first got here stood over almost everything in size. “Hercule must have made that just because he feels he’s the champ. Ha-ha champ of what….crying” laughed Chaozu. It sent a could chill in Chaozu’s heart knowing that all the people a crossed the world felt Hercule was a champion. Chaozu knew if he could get one crack at him, that he would tear him to pieces. His first move would be to flick his finger nail at him. Shaking Hercule out of his mind, Chaozu also saw that they had a pretty big mall. He could tell that the mall had enormous amount of stores inside of it, and that there was many people traveling in and out of it at all times. The police station was a pretty small building for the type job it is, but with Hercule around who needs police. After some hours of soars around the city Chaozu decide he was going to call it an early night. He was always taught to rest and relax his mind and body. Not to always exceed his limitations and to keep a good sufficient amount of food in his stomach. Chaozu, walked in the room to notice that the maids was still cleaning the room. “Where running a little be hind schedule sir. Tomorrow we will not be cleaning any rooms in preparation for the tournament” spoke the maid. Chaozu nodded as he sat patiently waiting for the maid to get done. About forty-five minutes later the maid was done, and Chaozu was able to hit the sack. |

The Legend
|
This was the final day for any training, and Chaozu knew exactly what he was going to do. First though he had to get ready, because Chaozu could not leave with out taking a shower. Krillin was knocked out on the bed as Chaozu crept passed him. “Hmmm I can’t believe lately Krillin has been waking up late” thought Chaozu. Getting his stuff ready to leave for the day, Chaozu felt that Krillin’s power grew from that last time they fought. “This is going to be a better challenge than I though. I’m glad you joined Krillin” softly spoke Chaozu. With that being said Krillin rolled over onto his side as if he heard was Chaozu was saying to him. Chaozu began to pack up all his items, so he wouldn’t have to do it tonight nor tomorrow morning. Once his entire goal was completed that morning, Chaozu set out to finish the final course of his training. Running out the hotel Chaozu jumped high in the sky, flying back to his first training spot. Landing down there, Chaozu noticed that nothing had been moved since he last set foot here. Taking off his weighted gear, Chaozu began to sit Indian style on the ground. Putting the back of his forearms on his knees Chaozu began to clear his mind of everything but fighting. Kami’s main teaching was to be able to clear your mind of everything and anything but you as a fighter. “Put your self in another realm, to where you would be able to fight your own self” always spoke Master Kami. A blue aura went around Chaozu as he began to float in the air. Chaozu’s mind was focused more now than ever be for. Chaozu watched has both of his self collide into a strong battle. This hear would help him learn his weakness, and how to fix them. Chaozu sat here for hours till the sun went down and the moon began to rise. After battling himself, Chaozu woke up with sweat dropping down his head. Looking around, Chaozu knew it was time to head back to the hotel. As he walked to his room, Chaozu smiled about how he felt he did good training for this week. Going in his room, Chaozu put a smile on his face as he starred at his bed. Chaozu knew that this would be is last time sleeping in the nice comfortable bed. |
