Doctor Gero
|
"Gero!" called the old Turtle Hermit from inside his small house. "What is it, old man?" Doctor Gero inquired, stepping inside. "You call me old? Have you looked at yourself lately?" muttered Roshi, before interrupting himself "Yeah, I almost forgot. I wanted to tell you that your weeks of training under me have drastically improved your fighting abilities. So, I would like you to embark on my trial." "Your trial?" asked the cyborg somewhat confused "What the hell are you babbling about?" "Shut up and listen. I want you to fight another one of my students under severe conditions. You will fight in both extremes, in the icy lands of the North Pole in extreme coldness as well as in the sand of the Sahara Desert, in the extreme heat of Africa. This will teach you how to truly control your body and will improve your fighting abilities drastically. But I must warn you, only few have survived such conditions." Muten Roshi spoke, warning his pupil of the dangers of his trial. "Are you senile? I'm an android. Those conditions do not matter for me." the artificial human replied shortly. "That does not matter, as you will find out soon enough. You may be in for a surprise," the old hermit told his student, "Oh, and one more thing. You must only fight on the ground and in the water if necessary. But you are not allowed to fly at any cost. Do you understand that?" "Yeah, I got it. Well, what are you waiting for?" the cyborg asked impatiently. |

"What am I waiting for what?" joked the old Turtle Hermit. "You know what I'm talking about. Stop fooling around, you senile asshole. Bring me the fighter I must battle!" impolitely demanded the android, losing his temper. "Geez!" exclaimed Roshi, "People just can't joke around these days." "No, they can't! Now, bring me the fighter!" Gero impatiently commanded again. "Shut your mouth already! You're a pain in the ass, you know that?" burst the old hermit, before calling for the other fighter "Spopovich! Come inside the house! And try not to break the door again. Just get in sideways. It took a day to repair the damage you did last time to my house!" The artificial human then saw a massive human looking creature enter the house. He was much taller than the former Red Ribbon scientist, and he looked a lot more bulkier. This, along with his bald head made the human look like some sort of convict. Gero's gray eyes turned red for an instance, as his built in scouter scanned the power level of the bulky warrior. "Oh, a power level of over two thousand five hundred. He is more powerful than I am, but that is not enough for him to win. My superior brain will give me my advantage, but I have to see what he's capable of. I should only use this reading as a reference for my future battle tactics, as I do not wish to be defeated by him at any cost." the mad doctor analyzed his opponent, as his sense for competition kicked in. |

Man, it was great to just chill for once, he was going to get back to that Kame House and just sleep for the rest of the day. Saving the world and shit really tired him out, ya know? The sea was soothing to his ears as he drifted over it lazily on the way back home, before landing on the beach of The Turtle Hermit's personal island. "Spopovich! Come inside the house! And try not to break the door again. Just get in sideways. It took a day to repair the damage you did last time to my house!" Roshi demanded as soon as he landed. Man, not a moments peace at all. "Man, I didn't break your door, old man, I was just..." The huge warrior started to say before spotting some wrinkly faced old man dressed like he was out for a day at the circus or something. "Yo, whose this wrinkly ass motherfucker?" Spopovich said, eying him as Dr. Gero seemed to stare at him for a little bit. "Well, whatever, hes freaking me out." The Slavic Powerhouse muttered, feeling uneasy at not being able to get a power level reading off the older gentleman. "This is Dr. Gero, a huge pain in the ass and another student of mine-" Roshi started. "Why do I give a damn?" Spopovich said, starting to walk off. "I'm getting a beer and taking a nap, later." "Would you shut your mouth for once!" Roshi said, before explaining his trial to Spopovich just as he had explained it to Gero moments earlier. Spopovich went and got himself a beer anyway, and sipped on it as he listened to Roshi talk. "I don't know, I ain't never seen him before." Spopovich said, looking at Dr. Gero suspiciously. "How do I know hes your student?" He said, just trying to be difficult. "Because I just told you!" "Haha, go look at some boobs, old man, this won't take long. Looks like this dude just escaped from the hospice ward at the nursing home, just to get beat down by the best." Spopovich bragged, downing his alcohol in another couple of gulps and moving over towards the door. |

"Don't drink that shit when you're next to me!" yelled Gero, aiming his index finger at Spopovich's beer and shooting it out of his hand using his dodon ray, "If you want some real stuff go buy yourself a bottle of jack, fool." Walking outside Muten Roshi's house, Gero turned north as he decided the first battleground. "Follow me, you nincompoop. Since I doubt that you can tell North from West, I'll lead the way to our first battleground." the former Red Ribbon scientist ordered, as he slowly ascended into the air without making any noise. Hovering thirty feet above the ground, he suddenly took off at top speed towards the North Pole. "Try to keep up. We've got twenty more minutes of flight until we reach the North Pole." calculated the mad cyborg, as the two pupils of the Turtle House traveled at high speed. After twenty minutes have passed, Gero's GPS system indicated that the North Pole was just up ahead. As his vision glimpsed upon the icy land, Gero's sensors indicated the extreme low temperature, below fifty degrees Celsius. "We'll fight here. The time limit is twenty minutes. Win, lose or draw we go to the desert afterwords." said the great scientist, narrowing his eyes while staring at Spopovich. He looked like a big gorilla, but that packed him a heavy punch. Getting into his defensive position, Gero suddenly spoke "Ok, buffoon. You go first!" Silently releasing his ki sensors, the mad artificial human powered up to his maximum fighting level, and now awaited for his bulky adversary to attack him. |

"You're just lucky it was empty, wrinkled prune, I'll show you how to stay in retirement!" Spopovich growled, running outside after Gero, but, with another insult, the android was gone, off to their first battle. "Damn, where was we fighting first..." He muttered to himself, quickly blasting into the air after Gero without any concern for subtlety or the surrounding area. "The North Pole? Hell, you may have a bushy mustache but I didn't know you was Santa Claus!" Spopovich called up after him, remembering their first destination. Well, at least it wasn't the goddamn desert again. The ground below them whized by as Spopovich flew up next to Gero, catching up to and giving him a smirk before trying to blast past him. This amused the behemoth till the air started to get colder, and he started to curse loudly. "Goddamn, its cold, give me your shirt, at least you have long sleeves, man." Spopovich said as they touched down, rubbing his hands over his exposed forearms. He ignored Gero for a little bit till he figured the old man was ready for a serious pounding, then laughed out loud, deciding to have a nice stretch first. "If you freeze to death, you got any kin' that might want to know?" He asked, cracking his neck first. Spopovich sized up the other guy for a bit, looking him up and down, and seeing no flaws in his stance. He cursed a bit, before taking his wolf stance. "Well, I guess being as old as you you must have learned a thing or two..." He said, smirking, before rushing headfirst at the android and bringing his fist up to pummel him, an attack that required no thought or style, an aggressive maneuver that consisted of just trying to hit him as hard as possible. |

Gero watched as his bulky opponent takes up the wolf stance, a stance he considered to be used by only the skilled fighters, those who have a great technique. Watching the massive human charge towards, him, he feared for the worst. However, Spopovich's random punch was easily avoided by the great doctor, who jumped sideways and let the gargantuan ape crush the icy ground with his fist. "Careful not to slip, you gorilla. The ground is made of ice, you know." smirked the artificial human confidently, as he kept his balance with ease. Luckily for him, his internal computer could easily adjust his balance points when needed. Sticking the point of his right foot into the ice, he then used it to push himself towards the giant fighter. Attempting to trip his foe, Doctor Gero pulled back his leg, just to sweep it forward at Spopovich's ankles. Not wasting any second, the android pierced the icy ground with his left foot, to stop his motion, right as he passed his foe. Jumping upwards, Gero swiftly attempted an uppercut directed at Spopovich's chin. Grinning confidently, the artificial human quickly used his leg, to push himself against his opponent backwards and, raising his arm whilst stretching his finger, he roared "Super Dodon Ray!" As the yellow tint large energy beam traveled from his index finger towards Spopovich's chest, the cyborg felt confident in defeating the mammoth like opponent of his. "Luckily for me, this guy is either too drunk or too unskilled to perform any advanced attacks. However, one hit from him and it'll hurt as hell." the artificial human analyzed the massive human, who smelled like beer. |

"Bitch, I know the ground is made of ice, some damn cold ice too.." Spopovich complained, putting his hand up to his head as he missed. Damn for having that second round after... whatever it was he did last. Whatever it was, he knew he didn't have any money left over from it. But if he couldn't beat an old man he was going to retire from fighting forever, or just bitch about it. Whatever. "Oh mother-" Spopovich said, having ignore Gero during his inner monolog and falling backwards, trying to stop himself with his hand but, being on ice, it slipped from him and he fell on his back. "Damn.." He muttered among several worse curses, pushing himself back on the ice as Gero came in for another assault, and flipped backwards to get back to his feet, standing unsteadily, and glaring at his foe. "You gonna trip a-" He was about to say, before the blast of yellow energy came streaking at him. Spopovich smacked the energy blast aside, remaining unharmed and looking totally pissed off. "Why don't you come back over here and try that you lived-spotted, son of..." He trailed off, apparently losing interesting in insulting him, instead rushing at Gero to seemingly try some more punches. That was when Gero heard the wolves howl. "Wolf Fang Fist!" Spopovich yelled, bringing his punch up, but, at the last moment, he vanished from site. Not even a second later, he appeared from the side of Android 20, laying into him with a serious combo of punches powered by the spirit of the wolf. He brought his hand up first to catch the android in the stomach, then just laid totally into him with the rest, trying not to give him a breather to get his defenses back up. |

"Hahahaha!" Gero burst into laughter, watching as his foe kept tripping around on the icy floor, "I told you to be careful!" the scientist kept mocking his opponent, with a big, evil grin on his face. Suddenly, he saw Spopovich dash towards him in his wolf fang fist stance. Looking as if he tried to throw a punch, the cyborg raised his arms in the form on an X at his head, trying to block the incoming punch. "Way too easy..." the artificial human said to himself, as he thought that his opponent would attack him head on. To his surprise, Spopovich suddenly disappear from his front, only to reappear to his side. After a frenzy of devastatingly powerful fists, the artificial human had enough. Grabbing Spopovich's hand, he knew that he would be caught off guard, since he used his other hand to hold him. Pointing his finger straight to his face, twenty grinned "Super dodon ray!" he then yelled, as he shot his powerful beam from point blank range. Jumping backwards, Gero then pointed his index finger again at his bulky opponent, and shot two quick dodon rays towards him. For a moment, the android got too into the battle, and lost focus for a moment. However, it was good enough to make him slip on the icy surface, and land straight on his butt. "Mother *beep*ing ice!" cursed the former Red Ribbon scientist, getting up somewhat ashamed after his trip. "Ok, we've had enough of this ice! Let's move on to the other battlefield. Sand shouldn't be as bad as this shit..." the cyborg told the human, as he turned south and started to fly towards the Sahara Desert. |

Spopovich smirked as he lay into the artificial human, giving him a good trashing before the android grabbed his hand. They both stared at each other for a moment as Android 20's hand was vice-griped around his. Then he got blasted in the face and went flying, skidding across the snow and ice and into a bank, it coming crashing down on top of him. The second two caused the ice to avalanche down on top of him, burying him. He cursed as the ice went over his body, cooling him down. "Damn..." He muttered, struggling against it. Spopovich reared back and burst out of the ice just in time to see the android fall on his ass, making him burst out laughing and losing his rage for a moment. The burly warrior clutched his stomach and nearly doubled over, the image of the dignified older man falling on ice giving him the giggles more then anything. He flexed out a little, his joints stiff from the cold, and heard Dr. Gero's suggestion to continue the trial Master Roshi had set before them. This seemed like a good prospect, they had spent enough time here already. It wouldn't be so bad sweating this out, and he wanted to show this guy a thing or two. "Man, and I thought I hated the desert." Spopovich said with a smirk, and blasted off after the other warrior. They flew for quite a while from the coldness of the arctic, the ice dripping off of him as the heat of the desert washed over him. It was hot as shit here, man. He breathed a sigh of relief and turned in mid air, bringing himself down hard against Dr. Gero and hitting him in the back, knocking them both towards the ground to continue this battle. |

Gero felt the bulky warrior smash up against him in mid air, and knew that the hard landing couldn't be avoided. With his head forward, he crashed into the sand so hard that only his legs and lower torso showed. Angrily, he pushed himself up and shook the sand off him. Infuriated, the artificial human walked up to Spopovich and attempted to bitch slap him with his palm and then the back of his palm. "Bitch, you don't push me into the sand from behind!" Gero told his foe, afterwords he jumped backwards. Trying to dash forward again, he noticed that the sand lessened his speed, because the surface he would push against simply deformed beneath his feet. Finding himself traveling towards the massive warrior at a mediocre speed, he then attempted to do a low kick at his ankles, trying to make him lose his balance. However, since the massive warrior stood still, his feet started to get swallowed by the sand, and the cyborg's leg only hit the sand, spreading it out all across in the air. Angered and embarrassed, the former Red Riboon scientist darted upwards, trying to land a strong uppercut at the massive warrior's chin. "F*cking sand! Why did that old son of a b*tch made us go here. It's really a pain in the ass to fight in these conditions. First the sand makes it harder to dash, then the heat lowers the quality of my vision. But it sure is good that I'm not human. That gorilla must be dying because of the extremely high heat." Gero said to himself, as he got into his defensive position and now awaited for his opponent to make his move. "Come on, I don't have all day, you know." the mad scientist taunted the mammoth like warrior, trying to anger him. |

Spopovich landed on the sand after knocking down Gero, sinking a bit. "Its fucking hot." He said, wiping the sweat from his brow and looking up at the sun burning hot in the sky. "Fuck, I'm going to kick Roshi's ass when I get back." The warrior said, slowly sinking in the sand. He started cursing again, throwing up a block when Android 20 came over looking for a fight, and failed at kicking his legs out from under him. But the uppercut got him, launching him back out of the sand and skidding across the hot desert. He got up unsteadily and tried to get back, cursing as it felt like he was running in water but worse, and sweating like a pig by this point. "Damn, got to end this fast and get the hell out of here- why'd I wear black today." He complained, coming over the next ridge and being his fist down together with a hammer blow on the unsuspecting android. He did block it but it didn't matter, as Spopovich hit with such force that the android went down anyway. Apparently, his taunting worked maybe on a more subconscious level. The Slavic Powerhouse didn't give him a give to get up, leaping from his sandy position and jumping on Dr. Gero, slamming his knee down on him. Then he started to pummel his fists down on Android 20, trying not to let up or give him a chance to free himself, but the other warrior did manage to get loose and throw another quip along with a Dondonpa Ray which Spopovich took, running at him again. He powered up his Shiyoken and started to lay into the poor guy once more, now with extra arms, giving him a proper good trashing and lifting him up before slamming him down over his knee. |

Spopovich hefted the heavy ass unconscious metal body of Android 20 up over his shoulder and looked up at the sun one more time. "Fuck all have to lug your body back..." He complained, lifting into the sky and blasting off back towards the Kame House. It took a while, but he knew he was back when it stopped feeling like he was holding a hot metal body in an oven. He touched down on the beach outside, dumping over Android 20's body beside him, and took a dip in the water, enjoying the coolness before going to talk to Roshi. "What are you doing?" The Turtle Hermit said, walking out and noticing them both. "Man, you made me go to the mothafuckin' desert. I'm chillaxing." Spopovich said, floating on his back, the water burning some of his cuts and fresh new sunburn. He winced. He could take megaton hits and shit, but a fucking sunburn was hurting him. Damn. "Fought in the damn arctic too." He kept on, crawling out of the water soaking wet. "I didn't want you to knock him out..." "Yeah, well, shit happens. What was this for again?" Spopovich said, already walking in. "No, I just cleaned the floors!" "Getting a beer." He said, cracking one open and sipping on it. "Okay, well... I guess you both pass my Trial. Good job. I'll tell Android 20 when he wakes up... there's nothing more I can teach you." Roshi said, trying to sound like this was something epic. "Yeah, you didn't teach me much in the first place, but it was good training. Thanks, old man. You did a pretty good job." Spopovich said, tipping his beer to him before draining it down. The huge muscular warrior then went and leaned out the window, enjoying his beer. It had been a long day and he was done with it now, after doing whatever weird stuff Roshi wanted. Oh well. At least he had beat down that mouthy old guy, whatever. A day when you can beat old men is a good day. |
