"Crap, crap, crap, no boobies, crap..." Spopovich said, lazing on the couch of the esteemed Master Roshi, flipping though different channels with the remote on Roshi's TV. In fact, everything in here belonged to Roshi, because this was Roshi's house. The Slavic Warrior yawned and kept his channel surfing up, much to the annoyance of the nearby Roshi. "Didn't you already do my trial, what are you still doing here?" Roshi complained. "I've got nothing left to teach you, I said!" "Ain't got no where to go, old man, you don't like it, throw me out." The lazy warrior replied with a yawn, giving a half-hearted flex to show he wouldn't just leave. He was about to skip by a news station when Roshi told him to hold it. "Man, are you still complain-" "Quiet!" The Turtle Hermit hissed, coming over to look at the screen. He was almost pale as a ghost, and wasn't even commenting on the reporter's near-exposed cleavage. "Akkio..." He whispered. Spopovich looked from Roshi to the screen and listened in. They were talking about this dude that had robbed a bank, killed some people for the pleasure of it, and then flew off. Bullets didn't seem to hurt him. He was some kind of super-villain, they were saying. His eyes were drawn to the video footage from the cameras... this dude was wearing the Gi that most of Roshi's students wore. Spopovich didn't really, of course, preferring his black one piece usually. The report went off and the two sat in silence for a moment. "So, whose Akkio?" Spopovich spoke up, looking over at him. The Turtle Hermit didn't respond, instead preferring to take a long draw off his hash pipe and look wistful. Spopovich wasn't having that. "Hey, Roshi, tell me who this bitch is?" He said again, "That bitch bank robber that wears the Kame symbol!" |

The old man looked so much older for a second as he sighed heavily. "That man was Akkio, a former student of mine. In fact, my most promising student... I hoped he would take over for me someday." The Turtle Hermit said with pain in his voice. "But, after I taught him all that there was to know, he passed my trial, just as you did- and he turned to evil... by that time I was too weak to stop him. And now he wears the colors of my school to mock me as he drifts in and out of hiding... I hadn't heard about him in some time, I hoped... he had finally settled down, but now I see he will never stop." Roshi said, then drew long from his pipe. "That broadcast was from Steel City, a mile east of here. Not far." Spopovich said, standing up. What was he doing? "What are you doing?" Roshi said, echoing his own thoughts. Spopovich had walked into his room that he had been using while staying there, and changed. When he walked out, no longer was he wearing his usual black suit, he was fully decked out in the orange ki of the Turtle school, symbol and all. "It kind of chaffs a little." "I.. don't understand..." "I'm going to go stop Akkio, Master Roshi." Spopovich said, stepping forward and towards the door. "But why? I didn't tell you to do it this time, this is my mistake, Spopovich! You're no longer my pupil, you can do as you please. He might be stronger then you!" Roshi said, flabbergasted from his position on the couch. Spopovich tilted his head to look back at the Turtle Hermit for a long moment before speaking. "Some things are more important then spending a lazy afternoon doing jack-shit or whose stronger then who. Things like honor. The honor of the Turtle School is at stake, and I intend to do something about it." He finished, walking out and blasting off into the sky. |

Man, that was pretty... goodish of him to say. But honor was important to him, sometimes. Maybe it was time to step up his priorities. Maybe it already was. He was going to fight this potentially dangerous warrior for no other reason then personal honor. Had his time in hell changed him for the better or for the worse? Spopovich landed in Steel City half an hour later, near the middle. He would have to look hard for this guy, if the authorities couldn't find him... well, maybe the authorities just didn't want to find him. It didn't take him long to spot the bank, door still hanging open, ripped off its hinges. This guy would be pretty tough, but he hadn't met anyone since Akuma stronger then him. A shiver went up his spine as he thought of Akuma, but he put it out of his mind. "Any idea on where the guy that did this went off to?" Spopovich asked a uniformed officier working the case, who quickly tried to wave him away from the crime scene. "No lookey-loos, whatever, I don't care where he is, I just hope he stays gone!" The man said shakedley. Terrified. Just as he thought. The police weren't going to find him, not at all. They didn't want to deal with him, just thought he'd go away quietly. Guys ruling though fear. Spopovich did the only thing he knew how to do in these situations- go to the other side. The underbelly of the city. Criminals knew where to look for people and where to find them, and cash and threats removed their fears. He rented a room and waited till dark, not ashamed to have a nice brew and 'roid up for tonight, and took a little nap. Then it was time to hit the streets. Spopovich: Private Eye. |

"Tell me where Akkio is!" Spopovich growled, throwing a convict up against the wall. He was the night, now, or something, spreading terror to find this dishonorable fuck. His contacts had lead him to some pretty bad places tonight, but he kept turning up with nothing. Apparently, this dude he had right now was Akkio's banker or something. Took care of his dirty money. "What do you want, karate man?" The banker said, a little tremor in his voice. "Akkio." It wasn't long till Spopovich had him blubbering. Sometimes, he liked interrogating. It was very soothing in a sick sort of way. He didn't get into any heavy torture, but whatever. Broken bones were still broken and hurt like a bitch. He learned Akkio was training some students of his own over at his place, on the south edge of town. Turned out he was teaching his own corrupt form of The Turtle School. Still twisting it for his own ends. He would find this place. _ And he did find it, a while later. It was a Beach House, a large one, with the windows and everything. Nice car, armed guards... the police knew about this guy. He wasn't inconspicuous, people just looked the other way. That was why he had disappeared. Spopovich wasn't looking the other way. The Slavic former mercenary took out his binoculars and watched the place. He was still wearing Roshi's Gi, that wasn't very subtle. But Spopovich was never very subtle. When he knew Akkio was there, pulling up in his millon dollar sports car, he knew it was time to move. He walked right up the gate. "Akkio!" The slight response from Akkio was a glance, but Spopovich knew it was him. When he saw the recognition of his uniform in the man's eyes. He pointed at him, and the other warrior straitened his tie on his suit. |

"What are you waiting for, what do I pay you assholes for? Kill this motherfucker. Now. Right now!" Akkio said, yelling at his men. He should know that won't work. The hired guns all turned those weapons on Spopovich and shot, the ones that hit him dented in and turning back on themselves. He'd gotten stronger since last time he got shot with a regular gun. It just didn't work anymore. He suspected he could take tank mortar these days. "You can't run from what has been done, Akkio. Judgment comes." Spopovich said, smirking. "That was a good one.." He mumbled to himself, taking down the gate with a swipe of his hand. Then he was surrounded by goons again. It was too bad... he hadn't been surrounded by goons in, oh, one or two days. Didn't they ever learn? "Solar Flare!" One of the students yelled out, and Spopovich smacked him upside the head real hard. "Its night, you dumbass." The burly brute complained, throwing a punch towards another one before they could put up a defense. Then three of the students rushed him at once. "Wolf Fang Fist!" They yelled out, catching Spopovich off guard. He blocked as best he could, but the power of the wolf was strong and he took some solid hits. The Slavic Fighter cursed, and uppercutting one up to the second floor of this fuckwit's mansion. The rest he just beat the hell out of. Until some of them sprouted extra arms, curtsy of the Shiyoken. Spopovich traded blows with four of them for a while, till he got tired of it and grew arms of his own, beating all of them at one time with his extra limbs. Some of them got in good, but it was useless and these brats knew it. They just trying to let their boss get away. What was he so afraid of? |

As he was fighting down here, wave after wave of them flying out from the house, a bunch of beams fell down on him almost taking him to his knees. He glanced up to see a couple of guys on the roof doing the Kakusandan on him. Damn, that smarts. Growling, he rose into the sky and blasted towards all of them, landing and going into a torrent of movement, smacking and kicking them off the roof to their deaths. He punched one in the stomach and sent him flying off before jumping and spin-kicking one in the face. Apparently, he hadn't taught these boys to fly. Their loss. When he was done, he jumped off the roof and walked towards the one guy left down here. "No, no, please, I- er- surrender!" The student shouted, backing up franticly. "Surrender, whats that?" Spopovich replied with an evil grin, backhanding him across the face. The boys body flew to the side and he was instantly unconscious. Maybe he'll learn to re-examine his life or something. Whatever. It was time. Spopovich burst into the house itself, taking the doors off the hinges as he went, and there sat Akkio. Meditating. "I beat your weak-ass students and now I'm here for their weak-ass master." Spopovich said arrogantly, cracking his knuckles as he walked. "They were never meant to defeat you. Just to... tire you out a bit." Akkio said, standing and spinning to face him. "I don't know if that stupid old man has gotten any beaten at training students yet, but looking at you..." He stopped to laugh. "You can laugh all you want, bitch, but we were both trained by the Kame School, and I'm going to kick your ass. There is only one top student. And the choices are 'me' and 'not you'." Spopovich shot back, spitting on Akkio's nice interior floor. |

"So be it. I'm much stronger then Roshi ever was. You'll die." Akkio said, laughing. "Must be nice." Spopovich said smugly. "What's that?" Akkio replied, confused. "Knowing your much stronger then someone else." The Slavic Warrior said, chuckling at his own wit, and went into a full-out charge at Akkio, catching him off guard. He tackled him and they went tumbling through the wall into the next room where Akkio threw him off and he left an imprint on the wall. "How dare you attack me in my own home." Akkio hissed, not stopping his assault and rushed him, sending him both though that wall and into the room beyond where Spopovich finally got his footing back. He kicked up but was blocked by his foe, and every time he kicked Akkio kicked back and took his foot back to the floor. "Ah, damn you!" Spopovich said as it happened again, so the burly warrior instead reared back and punched him in his face since he was paying too close attention to his feet. Akkio stumbled back holding his nose and cursing. "Hit me in the nose!" He complained, as Spopovich landed a double-armed hammerblow on his back but Akkio vanished from sight, landing a kick on his jaw instead for his troubles. Then he laid into him with some quick punches before they started trading blows in earnest once more, blocking and striking each other just as much. They threw punches at the same time and hit each other in the hand before pulling back, both of them hearing their knuckles crack at the hit. Spopovich tackled him instead of attending to his hand, landing them on his dinning table and breaking it. Spopovich was only on top for a moment before Akkio flipped over on him and started to land some heavy blows down on his face. |

Spopovich waited till he was about to bring down another and vanished from sight, causing Akkio to get his hand stuck in his floor and allowing Spopovich to get a few free hits at his face before he blocked those with his free hand and kicked the burlier fighter away and freed his hand, taking up the Wolf Stance as he did so. Spopovich did likewise and they rushed each other again, landing blows in nearly the same manner as before. "You're ruining my downstairs!" Akkio shouted, throwing another blow with another curse in some language Spopovich didn't know. "Then lets take it upstairs!" Spopovich quipped, stopping his attack for a sudden uppercut that sent Akkio into the second floor of his house. The Slavic Brute flew up after him to be met with a kick in the face that sent him out on the patio, though the glass doors. Akkio was almost instantly on top of him with a blow, but Spopovich rolled out of the way just in time, the hit coming down on the stone and cracking it. They stared each other down for a second at their positions at opposite ends of the overlook before rushing at each other, both of their mouths making the same words, a familiar howling, and the power in their fists... "Wolf..." "Wolf..." "Fang..." "Fang..." "Fist!" "Fist!" They collided in an explosion, their punches colliding once more as they fought with all their hearts. Both of them managed a hard blow to the others face at the near exact same time, sending both of them flying and almost taking them out. Luckily, they both rose back up and traded a few more hits. Neither was really winning. Blow for blow they were doing pretty similar damage, and were both bleeding and breathing heavily. Both of their gis were the same, red, bloody, dirty, and with the Kame Symbol. But only one deserved it. |

Spopovich punched at Akkio, but Akkio grabbed his hand holding it before it was striking his face and smirked. Spopovich smirked right back as energy blasted out of his hand, blasting Akkio into his railing and destroying it. Akkio wasn't smiling when he got back up, and was a good distance away, which was why Spopovich was concerned when he started to glow. "Kamehameha!" Akkio shouted suddenly, a blast of energy instantly escaping his hands bound for Spopovich. Totally taken aback, the Slavic Warrior took the hit and was knocked off the second floor, falling into the back yard in serious pain. His side was bleeding heavily from where he had been struck, but Akkio was coming back for more. He didn't know if he could get up. He thought of what it would be like to die here. Akkio wasn't even as strong as Akuma... but Akuma had let him go. He had to have. He couldn't lose to someone like Akkio, who does so much... excess. Who wastes so much. Who pollutes the name of fighters everywhere. "Damn..." Spopovich muttered, rising to meet him as Akkio jumped down and assaulted him again, leading off with a kick that lead to some more punches being traded. He could tell Akkio was weakening, but it didn't look like he was weakening as fast as Spopovich was due to his injury. "It seems we're pretty equal." Akkio complimented, puncuating it with another kick, aimed for his obvious wound. This caused Spopovich to double over in pain, causing Akkio to continue gloating. "Before you got that injury that is, tough break." "The only thing even is- me punching you in the balls!" Spopovich said, not being able to think of anything clever to say, instead opting to punch Akkio as hard as he could in his exposed balls while he was doubled over. This sent Akkio to the ground, clutching his nutsack and giving Spopovich some time to recover. |

Spopovich ran over and kicked him in the side hard while he was still down before wincing and looking at his side. Damn that looked pretty bad. He hoped he still had the rest of the fight in him. He didn't have long to consider as Akkio swept his legs out from under him from his position on the ground, sending them both to the ground floor and causing them to get into a grapple. Things were going pretty well on the ground game for Akkio till Spopovich got him into an armbar, pulling his arm and not letting the other warrior escape. He didn't surrender. Spopovich didn't think he would stop even if he did. The arm snapped. They separated and jumped back up, Akkio's left arm hanging uselessly at his side now, broken and battered. Now they were equal again. "Kamehameha!" Akkio tried again suddenly, sending the unpowered energy blast at Spopovich who simply smacked it away as he was advancing on Akkio again. Spopovich managed to get a hand on him and tossed him though his own house, landing him back in his living room where Spopovich tried to finish this. Unfortunately, Akkio tried the Hassuken to make up for his now armless condition and sent him back again, both of them fighting at not top capacity. One of the hits got lucky and Spopovich took it full in the face. Before even the pain, Spopovich knew his nose was broken. "Fuck, fuck, fuuuck!" He shouted, kicking out hard at Akkio and driving him away for now. Spopovich clutched at his nose to stem the blood flow and glared at Akkio. The former pupil of Roshi simply jumped at him giving him a flying kick to the face and making another hole in his house, blasting him back to the front yard. |

Then it started to rain. It came in fast and hard and gave some relief to the battered warrior laying on the ground outside of Akkio's mansion. The fighter himself walked out in the rain after Spopovich, all mirth gone from him. He was pissed off about this fight. "Time to finish this." Akkio said, clenching the hand of his good arm into a fist as he started to rise into the air. Spopovich cursed and tried to get up, but found he couldn't move that well right now. "Damn, so this is how it ends..." He found himself mumbling, watching the other warrior gather more and more energy to himself. Weakening himself. But he wouldn't need to keep fighting after this. He knew that. This was his trump card, his final play. He knew it would end Spopovich, and Akkio could go on uncontested as Roshi's number one student. Roshi's biggest mistake, his biggest embarrassment. A blight on the Kame School. Spopovich watched Akkio moved his broken arm as best he could, knowing it was probably hurting the piss out of him. He was still gathering energy, and was moving his hands in a way Spopovich knew all too well. "Ka..." He started, looking from down above Spopovich, "...mee..." His voice droned out, "..hamee.." He said quicker, the blue energy swirling into his hands. "HA!" He finished, the blue energy suddenly taking on a dark red color, the energy bursting out from his fingers. "Times ten!" He added on, the beam of power streaking towards Spopovich's unmoving form. Spopovich only had one thing that could counter that and he hadn't mastered it yet, and even then, it wasn't nearly as strong as Akkio's blast. He could barely see him around it, floating towards the ground, weak. It seemed like... the end. |

"Don't even think I could fly out of here and escape now... haha..." Spopovich heard Akkio mumble, and that settled it. Spopovich pointed his hand at the huge Kamehameha wave and concentrated, firing a concentrated burst of his leftover energy. "Dondonpa!" He said, calling upon what he had learned at the Crane School. The tiny blast came out of his hand like a lightning bolt and hit the much larger energy attack, moving though it, leaving both of them intact. "What-?" Was all Akkio could say as the Dondonpa came streaking out of his Kamehameha and pierced right though him. Spopovich didn't have nearly that long to say something before the Kamehameha X10 hit him. _ Birds chirping. Not a sound he expected to hear again. Not that he expected to hear any sound again. He opened his eyes groggily to wince from the sun hitting him, out a nearby window. A machine nearby beeped. He was in the hospital. Roshi and Ryouta were here, along with some guy he didn't recognize. "He's up!" Ryouta said happily, while he groaned. "Damn dude, you are one tough son of a bitch... man when I found you, you were like... a total write off, can't believe you didn't die!" The man he didn't recognize gushed. "What happened?" Spopovich managed. "Well, Ken here found you... and brought you the hospital. You were wearing my symbol so they called me and we showed up. You're lucky to be alive, Spopovich. You were out for days. I gave you a Sensu Bean when I showed up, but I was worried it wouldn't be enough... but, Spopovich, you made... you made the Turtle School, and an old man, proud today." Roshi said, tearing up a bit. "Aw, come on, old man... you know I just did it for the fame, fortune, women, thrill of fighting..." Spopovich said back, smirking. They both knew the truth. There was a good man inside Spopovich somewhere, an honorable one. "Did I at least kill that bastard?" Roshi merely smiled. |
