Red Ribbon: The Red Ribbon army is back in competition for the Dragonballs. They've gotten their hands on one already and are still searching for the rest. The army is wise to how valuable the Dragonballs really are and so they have secured this prize in their most impregnable fortress. They even have a new Android patrolling the perimeter who's power level has been known to be anywhere from 500 to 1,500. To get the Dragonball, you are going to have to sneak past the guards, over the wall, and into the courtyard. From there, you must somehow get into the base and to the room it is being held in. If you are detected, it is going to be a hell of a fight. Minimum Posts: 4 Minimum Words Per Post: 300 |

Kurgan stood in the center of one major city. Everything around him looked as if it had been through total hell. Concrete and building materials littered the streets. Mutilated bodies of men, women, and children laid strewn all around. Blood pooled up in the streets from the masses of still warm bodies. Kurgan’s scouter picked up a group of six moving around the building to his left. He silently rose into the air and over the building. He saw the group sneaking slowly around the corner, using the shadow cast by the tall building to somewhat hide them. Without speaking he charged a small ball of energy his hand, then pushed it down towards the military covert operations agents below him. The mini bomb struck the ground right behind them and created a crater. The following explosion disintegrated the two men in the back and threw the others forward about forty feet. They flew clear over the street and crashed into a display window in the opposite room. Kurgan landed in the middle of the street, looking into the dark thrift store for the remaining four of the special ops team. A hand appeared on the metal window pane. Slowly the first soldier emerged from the dark shop. He stepped onto the pavement and saw Kurgan. The alien watched as his target raised his rifle. Before the man could pull the trigger Kurgan’s hand shot upwards and a beam so small it was barely visible discharged from the tip of his index finger. It struck the man on the shoulder. The resulting explosion threw the soldier backwards; right into another agent that was just crawling out of the window. Before anymore of the pest could emerge Kurgan sent four mesposos into the store. The explosions caused the entire corner of the building to fall in and cracks to spiral out across the rest of the structure. His scouter told him nothing else lived in the area. He turned and lifted into the sky. A moment later he was soaring away from the ghost city. |

Kurgan’s scouter beeped and a his masters voice rang in his ear. “Kurgan, have you located the Dragonball yet?” King Cold’s voice asked. “Yes, master. I am on my way to retrieve it now,” Kurgan replied. King Cold seemed to consider for a moment before answering. “Good... Oh, and Kurgan?” Kurgan gulped. “Yes, master?” “Don’t screw this up, got it?” “Yes sir.” Replied Kurgan. Without a reply, the transmission was terminated. Kurgan knew not to mess this up. His master need those Dragonballs for the one named Digu. Kurgan knew naught why the idiot saiyan was important, afterall, he himself was as strong as Digu, yet his master King Cold still treated him like dirt, while treating Digu like a equal companion. It angered him, but he knew better then to defy the King. As Kurgan flew he thought about perhaps using the Dragonballs himself. Afterall, he was collecting them, whereas the King himself just sat around and did nothing. Once he had the Dragonballs he had located he could kill Digu for the others, then make the wish and become even stronger then his master. If he tried this, he’d have to kill Digu quickly, before King Cold or Bebi could get to him and help him. Suddenly Kurgan remembered Digu’s underlings, Lukaen and Fireback, who were both only slightly weaker then him. That settled it. There was no way he could take down Digu, as well as Lukaen and Fireback. Kurgan scouter began to read a large group of powerlevels about a mile ahead. He sped up and soon caught sight of where the Dragonball was hidden. A huge fortress, atleast the size of a medieval castle, surrounded by a giant perimeter fence, spanned across the ground. Kurgan began a fast descend by diving down. Soon he stopped and landed with a thump on the snow covered ground. |

The fence loomed menacingly over him. Kurgan disregarded this and held up his hand. He fired a mesposo directly at the wall. The following explosion dug a on a few inches into the thick and strong material of the wall. Kurgan snarled and fired another Mesposo at the wall, getting the exact same result. With a vicious frown on his face he fired several more, all at the exact same spot, until he had finally pierced the wall. He walked forward and drew his sword, placing it inside of the small hole, and worked it around and around until he had enlarged the hole enough to reach into it with both hands. Pulling as hard as he could he began to rip small parts out of the weakened wall. The hole was soon small enough for him to crawl through. Whenever he stuck his head through the other side he was immediately stricken on the back of the head, hard enough to knock his senses away from him. He felt something grab him and yank him through the hole. Whatever it was, it grabbed Kurgan by the neck and slammed him against the wall. He felt his feet leave the ground and had the feeling he was several feet in the air. Whatever had him was defiantly big. As Kurgan’s sight cleared he found he was staring into the face of a huge man made entirely of metal, at least he appeared to be. Kurgan blink to make sure he was seeing things right. Whenever he opened his eyes and the metal man was still there it confirmed the fact that he was indeed in contact with an android. That would explain why his scouter hadn’t warned him the guy was there. Kurgan then noticed that he couldn’t breath. He grasped at the android’s arm and found that the arm was at least as big around as his own waste. This android was a monster. |

The android pulled Kurgan off of the wall and threw him through the air. As Kurgan sailed through the frigid air he managed to draw his sword. As soon as his feet hit the ground he felt the android’s arms wrap around him and tighten, trying to squeeze the life from him. Kurgan struggled but couldn’t get away from the android, who had his arms pinned by his side. His sword had fallen to the ground whenever the android grabbed him. Some instinct told him to kick, so he did so, and by some miracle, kicked the android’s leg from under him. The android fell backwards, releasing Kurgan in the process. As soon as Kurgan landed on the ground he grabbed his sword and turned around. The android jumped back to his feet and Kurgan got his first good look of the advanced machinery. The android stood a least nine feet tall, and his body was huge, the size of a giant tree trunk. The android’s arms and legs were at least as thick as Kurgan’s waist, if not thicker. The android wore no shirt, only pants. Muscle lined his body, and veins and sinew stood out against the otherwise smooth curves of the muscle. The android had a buzz-cut flat top of white hair. His eyes were totally black, without any coloring. The android dove at Kurgan, who responded by slashing sideways with his sword. Kurgan’s blade sliced through the android’s arm, which fell at the alien’s feet. Kurgan quickly continued by bringing his blade straight up, cutting of a chunk of the android from neck to waist. He twisted the blade, and sliced partly through the android’s stomach, but not deep enough to half his opponent, who reached forward with his remaining arm and gripped Kurgan’s head. The android lifted Kurgan up, but Kurgan slashed sideways, severing the other arm. |

Kurgan looked at his android friend and smirked. “Not so tough now, are you?” With a snarl Kurgan jumped into the air, and brought his sword straight down, slicing the android clean in two from the top of the head to the crotch. The now separate halves fell to either side and began to shake. Kurgan dove behind a small snow bank just in time to avoid getting hit from the shrapnel of the exploding android. When he was sure the explosion was over he rose to his feet and looked around. Metal bits covered the ground and the snow had been instantly melted in a thirty foot radius. Luckily the snow bank Kurgan and dove behind turned to be a small rise in the dirt, rather then pure snow. Kurgan turned and left the steaming grass to it’s own. He now had to get through the fort. Whenever he got close he realized he could just blast his way through to the Dragonball, so he clicked his scouter. It immediately told him the Dragonball was high above him. Kurgan rose into the air until his scouter said he was level with the item he sought. Apparently it was straight ahead. Looking ahead, Kurgan saw only a tower. A huge, bold, Red Ribbon Army insignia decorated the top of the tower. Kurgan flew forward until he was closer to the tower. He raised his hand a shot a mesposo at the wall, creating a large hole. Kurgan could see a very fat man sitting behind a desk. An orange item sparkling in his hand. The man cowered against the wall, cradling his Dragonball. Kurgan floated forward, a few inches off of the floor of the tower. He placed one hand on the man’s shoulder, and another on the Dragonball. With a single movement he threw the man behind him and out of the hole. Kurgan heard him scream all the way to the ground. Before he had to deal with any form of security Kurgan flew through the hole and away from the entire scene, the Dragonball held securely in his hands. He had found his first Dragonball. |
