Enzeru sat in her tent with her mother's journal open in front of her. The clues seemed to be leading her all over the place and the end was still no where in sight. She lay her head down for a moment to think and turned it to see the desk clock on her right. It was already closing in on nightfall. "Three already? My, time passed quickly." She put the papers that had been left out in a desk drawer on top of her pens. There was no sense trying to do paperwork right now. There was a mystery afoot and no way to solve it without time to herself. That was exactly why she had banished everyone from her tent for the day. When the sun had reached high noon was when this particular study session had begun. Enzeru had poured herself into maps and charts and graphs of all kinds, even going as far as using a thesaurus. The place she had been stumped was supposed to be a cave of sorts where 'two meet as one' and 'many may enter but never find'. Enzeru propped her feet on her desk and blinked. Perhaps a nap would help. Not wanting to take out her bedding, Enzeru hopped onto her desk and stretched out, her mother's journal open in front of her. "Certainly the final piece of the puzzle is in here somewhere." She drifted off to sleep, dreaming of caves and people that might visit them. Sure going to sleep so early wasn't a good thing but someone was sure to disturb her. |

Life was a beautiful thing. It had been no more than twenty-four hours since Bojack had been revived, and already he was hitting up all of the casinos and taking his time. He'd fulfill his Legacy some other time - he was still young. Until he got the chance to catch up with King Cold, he decided he would just chill in and around towns. Maybe hit up a brothel or two, following up by robbing a liquor store, and then ending up in a five-star hotel. His attention was diverted towards the bumblebee that had landed on his shoulder. The bumblebee's mane glowed in the dawning light-each hair sharp and distinct to him-and its blurred wings generated a gentle bombilation. It was so vibrant, so alive, and so so beautiful, its presence renewed Bojack's will to find King Cold. But not yet. He remembered Cold's power - it was amazing. Even with all of the training Bojack had done in the Next Dimension, he was only a fraction of the Changeling's power. With due time, the Pirate would have his revenge. And it would be bittersweet, considering he would have wasted a good portion of his life trying to match up to the guy's strength, and then it would've ended with Cold going to Hell, and then possibly being revived a few weeks later. And then Bojack would kill him again. But whatever. Bojack had places to go. And that included a cave not too far out from West City. There was a diamond there, the size of a elephant. Give or take a few feet. Upon reaching the cave, Bojack used his new found skills of flight to wander through the entrance, so he wouldn't spring any traps. Judging by the look of the ground, it seemed somebody else was there as well. |

Enzeru awoke with a start. She had been dreaming that someone was walking in mother's cave, someone blue. This reminded her of something. She had more or less given her word. She sat up and nearly jumped off the desk. Lisa walked in and laughed, "Taking a nap on the job are we?" "No time for funny stuff, what day is it?" "I think it's monday." "Oh crap, I forgot." "Forgot what?" "I said I'd do something. I know just the place." "Stop speaking in riddles." "Okay, you know my gem I keep with me all the time?" "Yes." "Well, I used it and met someone. A condition of him winning was that I go on a date with him when he is brought back to life." Lisa gasped, "Enzi-chan is going on a date!" "Shush it, the guys will hear. I'll need you to cover for me when he gets here. Say he's from the society and we're going to examine another site no one seemed to be interested in." "Right." "And stall him for time when he gets here, I need to change into something else." Enzeru jumped off the desk and hurried behind the dividing fabric between her office and personal quarters. She began searching for a certain outfit that would be appropriate for the weather. |

Enzeru waited for a while and looked at the time. "Never been good at waiting. I've got other things to do." She retrieved her mother's journal and smiled. This was as good a time as any. She had all her life to wait around on guys but this may be the only chance she would get to learn about her heritage. She packed a pack full of her usual traveling gear, including the capsules she felt were almost necessary to modern explorers. This trip could take a long time or a short time. Enzeru dressed in bright blue. She felt it was safer, being in the desert, to wear bright colors, at least that way if you were caught in a sandstorm people might would find you later. The first clue she had to follow was an easy one. 'Across the great water.' 'Well, duh, great water means the ocean.' She thought as she left her tent dramatically. "If anyone comes looking for me tell them I'm looking for my heritage. There is a cave somewhere in this world where my mother hid a journal detailing where I came from." Enzeru said to no one in particular before taking to the air. Lisa was, as usual, standing near her tent. "Hold things together. I'll be back soon." Enzeru told her blond assistant. With that Enzeru began her flight in the direction of the ocean. |

The ocean was a beautiful shade of blue as always. Despite her love of the desert and the ruins Enzeru loved the ocean and the beach. It held fond memories for her of both her adult life and childhood. Enzeru time she saw the swirling blue water she thought of happy times. Perhaps this is why her mother had sent her this way, for the memories. She continued to fly as she watched the aquatic world below her. Whales surfaced for air while a few miles away dolphins preformed their acrobatic stunts with perfect choreography. The world held so much life. Were the other worlds like this? Enzeru had memorized the list of clues, after all she spent all night reading them over and over. She remembered the beach. It was her mother’s favorite spot for summer relaxation. It was on an island near here. She looked around a moment and then began her descent. The island she landed on seemed to radiate a little light from the sand. The glow was the reflection of the light off the sand. Enzeru remembered finding crystals here that were shaped by the sea. She had once made a necklace of crystals and sea shells for her mother. She was five then and in no way worried about becoming physically stronger, or weaker. Those were good times. She rested here a moment before moving on to the next clue. |

An island of marbles. That was the clue. There were many islands out here and there was only one she could possibly imagine having marbles of any kind on it. Thinking back on it, there was one place where she found perfectly round stones. She had called them marbles and everyone laughed at her. Well, who was laughing now? Enzeru continued her flight, passing several islands. Some stood alone while others were in clumps. Sometimes she tried to make pictures out of the islands like she did with maps but it didn’t work, she flew too fast for that. She began her descent over a small island with palm trees circling the beach and what looked like an inland stream flowing in a circle. She landed near the stream and bent down. This is what made the rocks so rounded. Enzeru had read something about a key of sorts somewhere around here. “Sun’s eye split in two, half a key to be found.” Enzeru quoted the journal as she looked around and walked along the stream. A glint of something caught her eye and she looked down, there was something shiny buried with the stones. She bent down and lifted it. A gold toned metal that looked to have been shaped by human hands. Enzeru put it in her pack and continued to look for the key. |

After three hours of searching the key was still no where in sight. Enzeru could not count the number of times she had circled the island and didn’t care to try. This was obviously going to take longer than she thought. She took a seat, and not being careful to watch where she sat, sat on her bag. Something poked her sharply in the rear and she jumped up. “Ouch! What the hey?” Enzeru opened her bag to find it was the weird metal she had found in the water. It was a silly thought she had at this moment, what if the key was this piece of metal? She quickly stuffed it in her bag. If this was the key then part of it was missing. She took out her mother’s journal and read over it. It seemed there were two places to find the key. “Two must open but more can enter.” That is what it must mean she whispered to herself. “Then it’s on to the next location.” Enzeru laughed a little under her breath, this was really fun. |

Enzeru made her way to the mainland. It would not be too far from where she would be that she should see a green mountain. She would have to traverse the mountain on foot to find the other part of the ‘key’ she would need to enter the cavern door. Sure it would be a pain and it would be much faster to fly but if she were to fly she stood a chance of overlooking the key. Enzeru sighed. This wasn’t the first time she had to travel by foot over terrain she would have preferred to fly over. Thankfully last time she had gained her master’s respect and a new skill. This time there was more to gain than any riches or personal respect. She stood to gain knowledge. Knowledge of herself and her father. The most precious thing a daughter could ask for. She spotted a large shape in the distance and smiled, “That must be it.” She laughed a little before taking to the sky and flying in the direction of whatever lay ahead. Certainly this personal quest of her’s would be over soon and she would be able to find her father. |

She reached the mountain foot at high noon. It was indeed green. It was as if not only the grass and trees were green but the rocks as well. Perhaps there was a high copper content that had gone through a chemical reaction over time or maybe it was a rare kind of rock that was naturally green. That didn’t matter to her at this time. The only thing that did was finding the key and getting to the cavern. She could worry about scientific mysteries later. Enzeru looked around for a good place to begin. She found a series of foot and hand holds in the mountain side and began to climb. It was rather steep in this part, and unlike most mountains, steep all over and oddly rounded on top like a tortoise shell. She continued to climb until she reached a conclave that looked like it had been hacked into the side by some person looking for a place to rest. Enzeru took a bottle of water and some bread out of her pack and had her lunch quickly. There would be plenty of time for eating later. Those thoughts, as seldom as she had them, seemed to slightly worry her. It made her wonder if she should see a doctor. After her short break Enzeru got up and searched for the next series of hand holds. Certainly she would find the key soon and be able to move on. Climbing got boring after the first hour. |

It was a while before Enzeru reached the top. She was hot, tired, and needed a rest. Sitting in a tent doing paperwork all day had made her soft, a mistake she would not repeat twice. Enzeru looked around the top of the mountain. It had to be somewhere. She began to walk around on the domed top while she searched the rocky crevices for any sign of a glimmer. She began walking from one end of the mountain to the other. This was going to take forever if she didn’t get some other clue. She got bored after a while and began to play silly little games like avoiding the cracks and walking on her toes along the cracks. Once she became bored of that she looked around her, completely taking in her surroundings. “It has to be here somewhere,” She told herself with a hint of desperation in her voice. Enzeru took to the skies and looked around below her, slowly flying to and fro until she spotted something. She dived for the shine as quickly as she could before she lost it. She landed in front of the spot and knelt down and look at it, there embedded in the rock was the key. It looks as if someone had stabbed it in there. This made her feel a little like a modern day King Arthur prying the sword from the stone. And the journal was her lady of the lake. After cracking her knuckles Enzeru caught hold of the key and yanked it out with a little effort. She stared at it a moment before the mountain began to shake. |

Enzeru gasped as the mountain shook and the ground rumbled. She fell to one knee before she could take to the air. She looked down on the mountain and the land surrounding it. Only the mountain was moving. That was odd since earthquakes moved everything for miles and miles. She watched as the mountain appeared to grow a head and then feet and finally a tail. The mountain’s great head turned to look at Enzeru with a gigantic eye. She could have sword she saw it smile. “So you’re not a mountain, you’re a turtle.” She smiled and laughed a little. “Indeed.” The turtle spoke slowly. “Thank you for removing the knife.” “No problem at all. In fact it is actually a key to me learning about my family so I should be thanking you for keeping it for me. I’m going to be going now. Maybe we will meet again some day." “Bye bye.” Enzeru waved and flew away to continue along her journey to the next clue. |

“The land of the kings covered in sand and left to sleep. Sounds like home to me.” Enzeru smiled as she flew to the edge of the desert she had lived and worked in for so many years. The dry air smelled of a sweet heat that warmed her inside and out. This place and the sea were her two favorite places on earth. Maybe one day she will go to other planets and discover her favorite places there. She flew on, occasionally doing acrobatics or flying low enough to frighten the wildlife. “Let’s see, there should be a cave around here somewhere. Maybe by the cliff face.” Enzeru flew over to the cliffs and stood on top of them to get a good view of her surroundings. From here she could see where the pyramids once stood and she could easily see a few of the other dig sights in the area. This would be a good place to live. “I wonder who owns this plot of land. I might settle here one day.” Enzeru appeared to glide down from the top of the cliffs as she landed gracefully on the ground. The cave was here somewhere. |

There were indeed caves all over these cliffs but the one Enzeru was looking for was proving to be move elusive than the keys. But perseverance would eventually pay off. Enzeru found the cave, but it looked like someone else had recently been there. “What is this?” She entered the cave. It appeared that there was another key that someone else had found and used. Everything seemed to be in order here. Things seemed relatively untouched. “Maybe someone was looking for shelter from a dust storm.” It was getting dark outside, “Perhaps it would be best to stay here for the night rather than head back to the camp site. They know I’m gone on a mission that could take a while.” Enzeru found an old oil lamp and lit it before closing the door to the cave. She unrolled her sleeping bag and set up a dinner of dried fruit, water, and beef jerky. After dinner Enzeru began searching for the vault where her mother kept her final journal. The place was full of dirt and dust. No one had apparently been here since before her mother was ill with exception of, what seemed to be, only a day ago. “Who could have found this place with out either the knowledge of flight or by being just plain lucky? Mother was always lucky.” |

Enzeru looked along the walls until she found a silver eye on the wall. “Silver eye, single light,” she whispered to herself. She lit a match near the pupil and looked closely at it before removing the now repaired key from her pack. She slid the eye into place over the silver one and looked once again at the pupil until the match burned her hand and she dropped it. Something clicked inside the door to the vault and it swung open. Inside were the journal and a few other things. Enzeru took the journal and closed the door, carefully locking it and taking the eye. Enzeru sat down on her sleeping bag and pulled the oil lamp close to her and began to read. My dearest daughter, What you are about to read may shock you but it is the truth and it is time that you knew it. Your father was not human; he was of an alien race named saiyan. He came from the planet Vegeta, which is oddly enough the name of every king the saiyan people have ever had. Some things happened while he was on this planet, terrible things that I never should have allowed to go on as long as they did. I will never forgive myself for what happened but I hope you might one day give him my apology for me. Please read the later pages after you rest from your journey. Enzeru smiled and laughed a little. She had met a saiyan man named Bardock, the same name as her father, when she was experimenting with the telepathy crystal she had found. Now she was almost sure it was him. When she finally set the journal down to go to bed she found a single orange hair. She put it in her mother’s journal and went to sleep. |

The next morning Enzeru awoke with a smile. Everything seemed brighter, even in the darkness of the cave. She opened the cave door and waited for her eyes to adjust to the light. The desert was beautiful today. Perhaps beautiful enough to work outside with the guys. Enzeru flew back to the campsite and landed outside her tent. She went in and put her journal away. When she came out she was greeted by a most of her crew. “So what did you learn?” Lisa asked before anyone else could speak. “Well, all I have learned so far is that my father was not only a great man he was young and foreign. He came from a place that few of us can even imagine and served a great king in his army.” “Is that all?” “I think I might be able to find out more when I read more of the journal. I do know where to find my father now. I think I might commission a ship to take me to where he might be.” “A ship? But you can fly, why would you need a ship?” “It’s complicated.” “Oh my, don’t tell me you’re an alien.” “Fine, I’ll not tell you. I’m in the mood to do some work in the field today, who wants to move some big rocks?” A few of the guys cheered and Enzeru gave them high fives. “Let’s do this.” With that Enzeru and her crew went to work on lifting heavy rubble. Lisa, as shocked as she was, stood there for a moment before going about her business. |
