(Doesn't it seem a bit strange that Nail is actually Guru's Bodyguard?)

Nail was on his normal day, simply meditating in order to make his mind stronger. He was known to be one of the stronger Namekian fighters on Namek, yet he wasn't ready to face the enemies of the planet, by what he thought to himself. He was simply a beginner who happened to have good potential, but still wanted to try help his planet and the people that live there. In any way. Nail seemed to be a good person, and didn't commit any way of crime. It was a very peaceful day, a perfect situation for meditating. He was satisfied with the current state of peace going around his planet, always calm, and when enemies appear, the strong fighters go to take care of them. So the elders had simply nothing to fear of, as their strongest fighters would appear on the battle and take care of the evil warriors who give threat to their planet. After all, there are many.

The village Nail was living in contained the 3rd Star Namekian Dragonball. All of the Dragonballs of Namek, at a total 7, were created by the great Namekian who lived the most, currently living in his house on top of a mountain. That Namek's name is Guru, and he is the creator of the Dragonballs, all Nameks know of him but for those who never got to see their home planet. Guru was truly an adored person, as his means were all good as well. But something strange that happened on that day, Nail was summoned by one of Guru's personal followers to the mountain. Nail was yet to even learn to fly, not to mention using Ki Blasts, but yet, he managed to take over and has agreed to his invitation to Guru's home, not even thinking at that moment about the fact that he can't go up since he can't fly.

"Of course, right away!! I'll go!! You wait for me there please."

He told the messenger as he flew off. Nail immediately started rushing towards Guru's home, all excited and hyped about what he has heard. He, a normal Namekian was personally summoned forth to Guru's temple. But the problem soon came to his mind. How would he get there?

Nail soon arrived... At the bottom of the mountain. He looked up and wondered, why didn't he think of what he was offered in the first place, since then he could have asked the messenger to give him a ride up, after all, since he was able to fly. Nail on the other hand, couldn't and currently can't fly. He thought to himself the first thing he's going to learn is how to fly, once he gets to find a master that could teach him to unlock his inner strength, meaning Ki. Now, all he can do is regenerate and use his Mystic Attack to stretch his arms, the two normal Namekian abilities. Nothing to e proud of, every Namek has those two abilities, but most like not many can use them right. Nail on the other hand, trained himself to use only those techniques in battle, and it seems to have been pretty good with him, as he's a skilled fighter, according to the elders' words. But yet, now he has to overcome this large mountain in order to get to Guru's home, where they probably will accept him gladly.

Nail started climbing the mountain in order to train himself. The height of that mountain never frightened him even a little, he shouldn't be afraid of such minor things. He is, a Namekian warrior of pride. And so, he kept on climbing, until the middle, where Nail already started to tire himself. It was a harsh task climbing all the way up there, not many can do such a thing, but Nail couldn't give up. Eventually, he rose up to the top to see the messenger up there, but strangely... The bodyguard standing outside was nowhere to be seen. This was kind of strange, and Nail already started thinking what would happen if Guru won't get a new bodyguard, knowing the current one is missing.

A shocking situation indeed. Where could Guru's bodyguard be hiding, oh where could he be in a time like this? Guru is completely vulnerable to everything that might come to Namek. Seriously a bad situation. Nail was standing in-front of the messenger who gave him the reason why would he be summoned to Guru's home. "You see Nail... You have quite a potential as a warrior, and the truth is... Guru's bodyguard is on vacation." To that shocking comment, Nail fell on his knees. He couldn't believe the bodyguard would actually leave Guru wide open to every attack, knowing even the messenger wouldn't be strong enough to protect him. But then, he heard an even more surprising comment. "In fact, he has left for vacation only for one week, on Guru's approval. Which is why we need a substitute, and you may be able to help us. Please become Guru's temporary guardian, Nail." The messenger said. This day has became odder by the minute.

"I see... In that case... There's nothing else I should do. Take me to Guru to see the full situation please." Nail asked the messenger after coming to his senses. Who knows? Maybe he'll end up being the primary guardian of Guru after all. Nail was taken to Guru's room after agreeing to his request, seeing the old, huge Namekian. Nail was surprised. Guru never even used Kyodaika but yet, was as large as one who did use this form. Nail couldn't stand much of the pressure in the room. He was standing in-front of the lord of all Nameks, Guru, prepared to ask him about the problem. Obviously, this will be a tough yet good memory to remember. "You're... You're Nail. Welcome." The old Namekian has started with his explanation to Nail's request. Nail was about to speak with Namek's eldest person.

Nail has somehow was able to find himself standing in-front of the eldest and most respected Namekian who created the Dragon Balls, Guru. How did he get into this situation, he no longer remembers or has any kind of idea how did he manage to get himself into this. Guru has started by greeting Nail with the simple word 'welcome', which from his sounded as if it was a high word that no one ever uses. Nail didn't even reply from the shock he was in. He's going to be the substitute guardian of the eldest Namekian, which means he's going to have to work really hard in this job. "Oh, thank you very much Saichoro-sama!" He said as he bowed down in-front of the huge Namekian who liked Nail's behavior to his elders, judging by the simple reaction. Nail then raised his head to hear out the elder's request, although he heard it already.

Guru then started coughing. Nail got nervous and wanted to help, but as Guru raised his hand giving a "stop" sign, Nail froze in his place. Guru stopped coughing after two sets and started speaking to the young Namek. "You see... My current bodyguard needed a small vacation. I will have to request you to be my guardian in the meanwhile. Not that it matters much since I'm probably too old to keep on living in this world... Haha... But it doesn't matter. I need to keep being alive as long as I can, in order for the Dragonballs to exist." Nail quickly understood what he had to do. Many times has he been watching over Guru's guardian, standing in-front of the house and sometimes going inside, and with no doubt - Nail gladly took the job to be Guru's temporary guard. With not much to add, Nail made his way outside to start his job.

Nail was on his way outside of Guru's home after gladly taking the job as his personal, yet temporary bodyguard. It was a honor for him to do this job, anyone would want to guard Guru, but the only thing that bothered Nail for those moments was, why didn't they pick anyone else, who is a bit stronger. There are Nameks stronger than Nail, of course, but Nail indeed is one of the strongest warriors. To come to an answer, Nail decided to ask Guru about this when his job ends. Not that he believes would happen anytime sooner, as of course, his bodyguard took a vacation for a whole week, that means Nail will guard his elder for seven full days. Although it would seem boring to anyone, Nail would do it with joy, after all, look who is he guarding. Nail was standing outside of the home and started thinking to himself about a few things. Maybe he should meditate while he's simply standing there, doing particularly nothing.

Nail started to meditate, as training would be a good way to pass time. He would probably think Guru's previous, primary guardian would do that too, as there simply is nothing to do with this job. As Nail meditated, he could see something approaching to him. It wasn't an enemy, as it never had the aura of evil, but it was more of a calm, innocent aura. That aura belonged to someone closer to Guru, some Namek who spends more time around the great elder. Nail opened his eyes to see a small Namek called Dende approaching slowly. He landed as he looked at Nail, who seemed to be familiar to him from somewhere. Dende simply looked and rushed into Guru's home. What could he be saying to the elder? Nail went after the small Namek to see his news to Guru.

Dende was rushing towards Guru and told him something out loud. Nail could hear every single thing of what the kid Namek said to the elder, as the glass between Guru's home and the outside Namek wasn't thick enough to block sound. Nail, after hearing what the small Namek Dende said to Guru, got nervous and stood in his place, waiting for something to approach. It seemed as if the small Namek came with something important. A small group of aliens has invaded Namek and were approaching Guru in order to take away the 1st Star Dragonball from him. Nail stood in his place, waiting for the aliens to arrive, and soon after, they came. Four Bas-Jins, small and fat creatures with four eyes who are known to stop time with their special ability, were flying in-front of Nail, waiting to attack. Nail looked at the aliens and told them to leave or he would hurt them. "Leave now, I don't want to take your life." He said with a glare. Nail was prepared for battle, as the Bas-Jins were terrified by his glare, who knows why.

One of the Bas-Jins then stood up to the Namek warrior. "No way we're backing up! We're here for the Dragonballs, no Namek's gonna stop us now! Let's go guys!!" The Bas-Jins seems to have overcame their fear of Nail and started attacking. One of the Bas-Jins attempted to paralyze Nail with his mind control and another one aimed to throw a giant rock at him, but Nail was able to easily knock out those two and aimed for the other two. But their leader, the one who stood up against Nail, was able to paralyze him temporarily, enough time for his subordinate to come up with a plan to defeat the Namek. The Bas-Jin took a log of wood and sharpened it using telepathy, almost thrusting it into Nail's body. on the last second, Nail caught it and threw it back, going at the two Bas-Jins while still in mid-air, knocking both of them down to the water. He used them to step back to the mountain. "I won't be taking your life, I'll let you live." He said, as he watched down as the Bas-Jins ran away after giving up quickly.

QUEST END.
