It was a completely normal day. Nail was on his guarding duties, as master Guru-sama's primary bodyguard was yet to appear on the place, and thus Nail was taking his substitute work to a first priority. Although, he did know a day would come that he would need to leave the place he's found at currently, as not everyday you'll have to guard your master. After all, the primary bodyguard would come sometime and get his job back, and that would the moment when Nail would leave Guru and thank him for the grateful time he had guarding him, although not many may appreciate such a thing. Nail of course, really enjoyed only the thought of guarding his master Guru. And thus, he has stayed on his place, meditating to himself as he's waiting for something to happen. He wants to prove himself worthy to Guru, as the Bas-Jins he has defeated on his first day as a guard were not really that tough and weren't worthy opponent for the Namekian warrior.

As the time passed, a few Namekians, nine to be exact, came approaching to Nail, the other Namekian from the "Warrior-class" they had known. Nail knew those Nameks and gladly accepted them to give him some company while he's guarding Guru, but it seemed as if that's not the reason they came there, and Nail was right. They never came to help him guard Guru. "Hey, you guys! I suppose you came to help me out after all, huh? I knew you won't resist it." He said, before hearing what they came there for. "Actually no. Sorry Nail, but we're here to get you out. We're holding a small tournament between the ten of us to see which of us has the most potential, you know these kinds of things. What do you say?" That kind of offer would normally be declined, but Nail actually thought about this.

Nail thought about the offer he was given. It seemed pretty interesting to fight with his friends once again in a small, yet friendly spar. He hasn't done that in a long while since they were all kids, and it seemed as if all the Nameks have gotten stronger in time before they got to meet each other again in a fight, although they did have much time spent with each other often. Nail finally came with an answer that would satisfy his friends. "As you all know, I'm currently the guardian of Saichoro-sama. Thus, I'm not sure I can go and fight with you... Saichoro-sama might be vulnerable to everything if I leave him like this." But as Nail ended his sentence, he could hear Guru's voice saying that he would be okay and Nail is allowed to go with his friends normally and enjoy the fights. Grateful, Nail nodded his head and laughed with his friends. Then, they all went down the mountain and rushed towards the area where the tournament would take place.

Nail and his Namekian friends reached a small island pretty distant from Guru's island. Nail didn't like that, but he always knew his friends had a strange habit of doing such things. Nail found himself surrounded by many other Nameks on the island he's found. "So, you guys. The first round is a royal fight! The two Nameks who keep standing on each island proceeds to the second round! Let's begin!!" Nail never imagined he'd have to fight so many Nameks at the same time, but he had no choice. Nail started fighting like he's used to, using his Mystic Attack and normal tactics to prevent the enemy from reading his moves. Eventually, the fight ended shortly, and Nail and another Namekian were standing on the island they were placed. "Very nice. Okay, all that were thrown out are disqualified! Let us begin round two."

As soon as Nail and another guy were the only ones remaining standing on the arena they were placed, the second round began, as they were the last to compete. "It's nice to see strong fighters like you passed this first round. The second won't be as easy. You will each fight the one who passed along with you on the island. The obstacle, knock out won't do. You'll have to find a way to neutralize your opponent from being on the ring. Begin!" As soon as the word "Begin" was announced, Nail rushed with full speed towards his opponent, aiming to hit him on the neck by performing a slicing hit with the right side of the palm. Nail missed his attempt, and the Namek jumped out of the way, coming back with a spin and performing a kick on Nail's back. Nail took the kick head on and was sent forward, almost hitting the water's surface. With a mere hit, Nail was in danger of losing the match, but he thought quickly and used that Namek's leg to grab onto, in order to keep himself safe. He pulled himself towards the Namek and landed a strong punch on his face.

The opposing Namek was sent backwards as Nail left his leg. Nail then used his superior speed, so it seems, and went below the Namek. He kicked his back, sending him flying to the air. Nail jumped and landed a smash at the Namek's stomach, but the opposing enemy was smart. He caught Nail's head and threw him to the water's surface. Nail had to use one of his own tricks in-order to survive this, as he never learned how to fly in the first place. Nail used the Mystic Attack ability all Nameks possess and grabbed onto the tree that was on the other edge of the island. While pulling himself towards the tree, Nail stretched his leg and kicked the opposing Namek in the stomach, so the pain would prevent him from using any tricks. Nail won this match, somehow. "Very well, great job everyone! We're moving to the 3rd round!"

The third round was about to begin, according to the judge. All Nameks were able to finish off their contestants in less than three minutes, the time given for that round. "The third round is a match up again. You all will be fighting the one to your left. The first one to land three hits is successful. Be aware. You're about to fight and protect yourself at the same time. Begin!" Nail waited for the one on his left to come and attack, but he seemed to stay still. Nail was once again, the first one to strike. He jumped forwards and skipped the island he stood on, aiming to the Namek who passed the second round on the island to his left. He came approaching with a slam and was easily able to knock him out to the... Island to his left. This gave Nail's target an advantage, and Nail couldn't notice the Namek on his right coming to attack him. He used Mystic Attack to grab Nail's leg and attempt to smash him on the floor, easily landing three hits, but Nail used his own target by stretching his arm as well, hitting the attacker.

Nail target used a Ki Blast to knock off his opponent. The total outcome was everyone with around 1 or 2 hits landed, while Nail with non. But the outcome was soon changed, as Nail got struck on his back by a Ki Blast by his attacked that possibly came through the eyes. Nail was still holding onto his target and aimed to kick him, but he wouldn't let Nail do so. The Namek span and blocked the upcoming kick, using it to hit its target. Before Nail's attacker could land another hit, the Namek who hasn't landed many hits up to now took action and punched the attacker twice in the back. The judge shouted as that happened. "Stop! Third round has ended, in Nail and Grip's victory." Nail couldn't believe his ears. His attempt to tackle the opposing target on the head worked. Round four was about to begin. Nail was starting to enjoy this small tournament.

Now, after the 3rd round ended, it was time to start the 4th round, also known as the Semi-Finals. The Namek judge announced its beginning and rules shortly after the four remaining contestants took a small rest. Nail could feel himself getting tired by the moment of this fighting thing. The first round tired him out, not to mention the other two. "Very well. The 4th round now begins. On purpose we made it so you will fight the one of the left, since the one on the front was untouched by you. Now you will cross your fists, literally. Each one will fight on the island of himself and the opponent's area. You lose if by knockout, or if you're found on your own field. Begin!" This time, Nail's opponent went to strike. Nail was prepared for his strike to come, and soon blocked his attack as it landed. Nail was at a disadvantage, knowing his opponent is on his own field. He then tried to push him by punching, but failed. His opponent was too strong for this kind of trick.

Nail was backed into a corner, literally. He then jumped above of his opponent and used the Mystic Attack once again, to throw him back to his island. The opposing Namek landed hard on the ground of his own island, and Nail landed on the water's surface. He rushed toward his opponent quickly, and his opponent doing the same. Both matches clashed into each other, taking place in the center between the four islands. All flew back to their islands, and Nail could feel himself getting tired again. He had to finish it soon. Nail jumped above the water and landed on his opponent's island, smashing him on the neck. Using speed and power fused together, Nail thought he won, but the Namek used a technique from his eyes, a Ki Blast that barely hit Nail. He then kicked his opponent's stomach and ended the fight with a chop to the neck. Nail was victorious by Knockout.

Nail was able to advance to the 5th round, not knowing how did he manage to keep up with everything up to now. By the looks of it, Nail won't be able to win, since the opponent he's facing seems a lot stronger than him, not even looking tired from what they have been through. The last match ended up being a match between Nail and the opposing Namekian. The limit to the battle's field, the whole area surrounding the four islands. The battle began after the rules were announced. Nail aimed to hit his opponent using a kick to the back, by passing him quickly and landing a hit to his back, but he failed. The opposing Namek was able to read this move and duck when Nail performed it, flipping himself, kicking Nail's face. While Nail was stepping back because of the hit, the opposing Namekian came in for another strike, and shot a Ki Blast at Nail's body. The match just started and Nail was at a disadvantage already. The Namek opponent was sure he'll win this, observing Nail's movements and way of fighting during the first match.

Nail didn't give up yet. He quickly stood back on his feet and as the opposing Namek shot a Ki Blast at him, Nail deflected it back at him, making the blast hit its owner. While the smoke covered his opponent's eyesight, Nail used the situation and sent his leg towards the smoke, betting on a hit whenever he will hit or not. Nail was able to hit the opposing Namek in the head, by stretching his leg. Nail then rushed into the smoke and started landing a barrage of hits using both his arms and legs. This pushed the Namekian warrior to his edge, but it turned out to be effective. When the smoke cleared, Nail was found panting in-front of the opponent who's laying on the floor. To end the match quick enough not to let his opponent stand again, Nail landed a smashing hit using both knees on the opponent's arms, breaking them. His opponent was neutralized, which was according to the rules, the requirement for the win.

"Stop! The match has ended. I can't believe it happened, but the winner of the tournament is Nail!" Nail was really glad to hear it. He has won the tournament, and proved to be the strongest Namekian warrior amongst his small group. "You were all great fighters, guys. But I suppose now, I should be heading back to my master. I'll see you hopefully again sometime." With that, Nail left the area, going back to Guru's mountain to resume his job as a guard.

QUEST END
