:: Dream :: Shifting uncomfortably, the Saiyan rested himself against the white walls of the inner dwellings of the Room of Spirit and Time. A sweat drop dribbled down the side of his face, starting at the brow and wiggling its way down his cheek before finally slipping from his face only to splash against the tile floor below. The muffed echo reverberated around the immediate area, picking up pitch as it continued to bounce; the sound made Reijin grab at his ears, tucking his head between his legs as the pain slowly began to subside. The Prince had put some distance between himself and the other Saiyan, for their battle had offered both men the information that they had hoped was false, but knew as truth; they were weak. Each one of them had strength in their own way, but their overall potential was miniscule compared to what they knew they could achieve and it was this that was driving Reijin onward. He knew that his physical power wouldn't ever be as great as a Saiyan Prince, but there was no sense in crying over spilled milk; he would do what he could and work with it. Strength wasn't the only way to win a war, sometimes it took more than just brute force and the jade warrior knew that he was beyond versatile. As the echo faded away, Reijin could feel the pain subsiding and the reality of the position he was in hit him like a ton of bricks. He was locked away in this realm for a year, no way out and no one else in. Of course, in reality it would only be a day since he entered when he exited, but for the time being, he needed to keep himself from breaking due to the emulated time and space of a year's worth of training. It would not be easy, especially since his training partner seemed to be handling the harsh environment so effortlessly; even if he was struggling physically, Vegeta seemed able to hide the mental anguish that he too was probably feeling. |

Groaning as he lifted himself from the ground, the stark fleshed creature took a deep breath. His massive chest was still heaving from the exhaustion of his earlier training, only solidifying the worry that he was truly a lot weaker than he had thought that he was. He couldn't stand the feeling of being out of shape, it was truly uninspiring and killed his motivation, yet it also gave him the motivation needed at the same time. In truth, the entire ordeal wasn't a problem, but the Hyper Bolic Time Chamber increased his mental strain making even the smallest of uncomfortable thoughts larger than they should have been. Watching the Saiyan Prince leap into the air and take to town on an invisible target, the Saiyan found himself reminiscing on a previous time in his life when things were much easier than they were now. It was a time of peace and tranquility, when the occasion riot would ensure, the police were more than enough to keep everyone secure. The sky always seemed clearer and the sun brighter; that was, until the day a Saiyan found his way onto his home planet and began to destroy the pacifist’s way of life. It was on that day that Reijin realized that peace would not last forever and that he needed to grow in both mind and body; however, there was still one aspect of his being that he had not realized was important, his soul. Without training his inner power, there was no way that he would be able to consider himself the complete package. Warriors from all over the Universe mistakenly ignored their soul’s potential, leaving it dormant and rushing into war with physical strength alone. This would leave them extremely vulnerable against someone that had been able to tap into their inner energy and the fight that they had hastily joined would prove to be a quick downfall. Reijin was no fool; he knew that he needed to improve every quality that he had, especially if he wanted to bang it out with the soldiers of the Saiyan race. It would be difficult, but he knew that, with enough time and practice, he could push himself well beyond his limits. |

Lifting off of the ground, Reijin kept his eyes upon his Saiyan counterpart. The Prince seemed almost oblivious to the Saiyan’s presence, not that he could blame him. In comparison to Vegeta’s power, he was nothing. Although they had entered the Room of Spirit and Time at the same level of power, the Saiyan Prince had nearly tripled his energy already and Reijin had gained only about ten percent more than his entering power. This was definitely disturbing, but he knew he had to keep his head. Saiyans grew faster than any other race which merely meant that he would need to push himself harder than Vegeta. Excreting his aura from the depths of his core, Reijin shot into the air. Moving as fast as he could, he began to place some distance between himself and Vegeta; he couldn’t train while watching the Saiyan or he would be unable to concentrate. Keeping his eyes planted ahead, the white haired wonder saw nothingness; just pure white. He knew of the power of the RoSaT and that it would give him what he would need, he simply had to think harder on it. He needed to remind himself of the power he had and the power that was to come. He would train his mind, his body, and then, his soul. He would prove once and for all, that he was beyond the normal power of a Saiyan Hunter. Sliding his foot forward, Reijin jumped into the air and unleashed a barrage of fists into nothingness. Each fist shot forward and then yanked back to his side like engine pistons. Over and over again they fired inward, only to change its course so suddenly that the air literally snapped with each pull. The thunderous sound echoed down the endless white void, traveling well beyond hearing range and vanishing into the infinite abyss of the Time Chamber; had it not been for the physical strain he was under, he most likely would have been lost on the thought that the dimension he was in was forever expanding, threatening to lose him in the eternal emptiness. |

Landing on the ground, he began firing leg after leg into the air. Though slightly slower, the kicks displayed much more power than the previous punches; it was what Reijin prided himself upon. Though he was very adapt to the Maui Thai martial arts, it wasn’t his arm strikes that won most battles for him, but his kicks. Many have told him that it’s almost magical to watch him toss a kick into the air, for as it moved, it seemed to glide in the most beautiful of ways. It wasn’t just its visual appearance that impressed though; it was also its deadliness. Many a foe had fallen to his kicks; some in only one strike and most of the time, those that fell in a single blow didn’t even see it coming. Planting his foot against the ground, Reijin wiped the bead of sweat that had dribbled down his forehead and came to a rest on the tip of his nose. Panting a bit, the humanoid dropped to his rear end, drained nearly to the point of collapse. He could barely hold himself up and he was feeling a bit queasy, but he wasn’t done yet, he knew he had some left in his reserves and he needed to drain himself completely to achieve any growth. Rolling over onto his hands and knees, he violently vomited, spilling the remains of his last meal on the starch white tile. Wiping his mouth, he stood up and closed his eyes. Concentrating on his inner energy, Reijin bound into the air, but instantly fell back down to the ground. Tapped completely out of energy, Reijin hit the ground with a thud. He could no longer feel his body and consciousness was quickly fading away from him. The scene was beginning to change, but the Saiyan was unsure if it was actually happening or if he was simply losing his mind. Relaxing his muscles, he allowed the white to fade and darkness to overcome him, but before he passed over into the unknown, he heard a familiar and unexpected voice. It was his brothers and he was hunched over him, inspecting his body with an unfamiliar black figure with red lips. And then all turned black. |

:: Drip…Drip…Drip :: Reijin’s hand shot up and wiped the droplets of clear liquid from his forehead. Staring up at the roof, he spotted the source of the drip and frowned. Too many times had he been forced to seal the crack in his roof, yet each time it rained, the water still found its way into his dwelling somehow; it were as though the Gods themselves were mocking his efforts to live a normal life. What else was there for him to do? No only had he moved away from his home planet, but he had secluded himself in the deepest, more desolate terrain of the planet Frieza that he could find; not even the wild animals ventured out this far into the frozen tundra as he had. He was living off of his means, with the bear minimum essentials. He had no real plumbing and very little electricity, which he had to create himself, by riding a makeshift bicycle that charged the ghetto generator that he himself created from an old snow plow engine. Regardless of his shortcomings, Reijin stayed as far from the general populous as possible. He knew that he had been created for the sole purpose of destruction, but his human half kept him from rushing out and destroying ever living creature around. It was unfortunate that the Changelings has chosen the human race to start their experiments on, for they were a weak minded race, as was Reijin at one point, but when an unknown species was forcefully bonded within him, something new was born. Sitting up, the albino haired humanoid threw his legs over the side of his couch and moaned; his floor was soaked as well. Looking around the room, he realized that his door was slightly ajar, definitely not the way he had left it, but more surprising was the fact that he wasn’t freezing cold. Confusion instantly hit him as he lifted off of the cot and closed the door. Cool air was filtering in, as it should have been, but if the door had been open for any extended time, the water would have frozen over and the temperature in the small unit would have dipped dramatically by now, yet it was still comfortable. There was a noise from the next room, alerting Reijin to the worst possibility imaginable; someone was in the house with him. |
