I have a question: Barrier- This purely defensive technique forms a spherical Ki-shield around the body that protects the user from weaker Ki attacks. Lasts for 3 attacks made against you. Opal Electricity- This will surround you in an electrical field and will absorb all damage from one advanced ki attack that has not been charged or any fundamental ki attack in battle. The ki cost of that attack is added to your ki for the remainder of the battle. Is it possible to stack these two Power Ups in order to JUST protect one's self from an Advanced Ki attack that has been charged? Which would inturn take up the lasting effect of 3 attacks and Absorbtion would be null..? |

I doubt it, but if you really want to waste two power-up slots on barrier and opal electricity to block an advanced, go for it. |

I think if you do that, then the barrier does not stay up for 2 more attacks. |

You never know when your going to get stuck in a tight spot Gohan. A charged Advanced Tech can do some serious damage if it connects. - One more question for the sake of not having to post another thread: It takes 1 week to reach another planet right? What if I have a Saiyan Space Pod that decreases travel by 1 week? Do I instantly arrive at my chosen planet? |

To use IT, do you have to have been to that planet in the past? |

No you do not. You need to simply be able to hone in on the power level of someone (a player character) on that planet.

With honing in on the PL do you have to have meet that player? Or does there just have to be a player on that planet? |

You just need to be able to feel a real player character on the planet. |

According to the rules under the Technique Description: During battle, you can use IT to dodge any Ki attack or make any Ki attack Undodgeable. I think fleeing from a fight is plain cowardly, and wouldn't be fair. |

I think its fair. Especially if you think your opponent is going to decide to steal/kill in a no kill/steal battle. |

Then maybe there should be a RULE stating that if both players decide on a No Kill or No Steal battle, the ref inforces it and the victor won't be able to backstabb the looser. Or maybe if the allignment of your opponent is Chaotic Evil he can choose to kill you or steal from you if it's a No Kill No Steal compromise. |

A battle is a battle, side arrangements made by players really have no bearing on the rules of engagement. You could say its a no kill, no steal battle but if a larger power enters he could kill you both and be well within the rules. No Kill, No steal battles are simply power-gaming IMO and dumb. |

I agree with Ken. A basic rule of rping is that OOC info has NO bearings IC. You can only hope that the person's character will just either steal your shit or decide not to kill you, especially if there's an intervention you might as well throw the no steal/kill out the window. |
