Legendary Creatures Hunt: Every three months in a year specific legendary monsters appear in specific planets. You must first track them down and battle them to win a good piece of equipment. Level 1~20: Battle [monster] with PL 50,000 in [planet name] Level 21~40: Battle [monster] with PL 100,000 in [planet name] and so on... Tracking monsters takes 1 week. In first battle Monster will leave an item and flee. This will happen five times until you finally kill it. For example: Thunder Dragon: pl 50,000 lvl 20, [abilities and techniques] One defeated first time you gain [stats] and Thunder Boots (a rare item can be sneaked). Can only use if below level 21. Then it will drop Thunder Gloves, Thunder Helm, Thunder Armour and finally after killing it you will get Thunder Sword. After every 9 months, the power of the items is lost and you can keep exchange it for specific items. Can battle in groups. After item is won, the group members shall decide who gets the item or fight for the item. If all of the items in a set are collected they give a 'Full Set Bonus'. |

I think the hunt idea itself is great. Each time you kill a monster though you should keep an identifying part of it like a horn. These misc items can later be traded for specific items that you keep. |

You can form groups to defeat the monsters and I am not ignoring people above level 40, have you both put a piece of cloth on your eyes, I said and so on I did not list all. I said something like etc. Can't you see it? And do you want huge gains easily, huh? |

I'm just really having a hard time figuring out the overall point. Would this be done in the battle forum and if so who would control the monster? What attacks would the monster have? Would they have set weaknesses? What would they look like? and fighting a monster five times seems like a lovely way of power grinding since you get stats from a flee. If you go up against a 100K monster and it flees...then you have to fight it five times? I think this needs a bit more polishing. Not to mention it seems like it will rely a lot on staff members to keep track of who is doing what, how many times they've fought said monster, etc., |

Who controls Pico? All the stats and weaknesses etc will be set by the staff. It is a once a year oppurtunity. You dont need to fight it five times necessarily. If you defeat it once you will get boots, in the next battle, some other person may fight and he will get the boots and so on. |

Scenarios aren't dead, we just finished one up(technically)but they come along about twice a year but you get massive gains from it so that's what makes them special. So this would be a good scenario idea, but it's not something for everyday use. |

Although I dont' agree with the requirements and part of this, I do think this would be some what epic to have in the RPG. Having something like this randomly pop up will only spark more activity at random times. Not to mention it's possible that it could force character interactions, like that whole Tapion Movie. A massive creature was released, everyone had to go after it...blah blah. Honestly, I think it's a great suggestion Dende. As for the staff having to do extra work...it's not like they do much as it is. 90% of everyone's posts are in the OOC portion of the RPG anyway, so who cares if they have to add an extra IC post every day. |
