The day had finally arrived. A strong Namekian had been born and in many battles, scars upon his face a testament to his past. Long ago he had been among those who did evil, a Space Pirate no less and among ruthless criminal's. His life had been nothing more than a crime spree, but over time he grew weary of it. His ship was then attacked and his crew killed. He was the only to make it to an escape pod which took him back to his home, long lost to time, Planet Namek. At first he was shocked by the locals looking just as he did and he fought with them. After a struggle he had been brought to Guru who dove into his mind and taught him all he knew of the Namekian race...and hence forth Flute redeemed himself. Many months had passed since he had tried to blend back into society of his own people. With how bloodstained his past was, it had been a hard and troubling road that had only led to trail after trail. Over time however, he managed to triumph against all odds and now he was nearly one accepted back into his society. He had fought against villain's in his time and even learned to be once more a peaceful creature, taking in the joy of life instead of being hard and cold, without a soul. The memories were something that never seemed to want to fade, but in time he had learned to coup with them as best he could and so he had become a scarred but valiant warrior again. Well nearly anyway. Our story takes place at his last trial, the day he finally could become one with his people yet again... ------------------ "Flute, the day has finally arrived. It is the day when you will finally gain all trust back and once again be considered a full brother to us all," The elder of the village he was staying in, Ocarina said with a smile on his face. The village Guru had assigned him to live in and be trained was one of the smallest if not the smallest on Namek. It was on a remote corner of the planet where some of the greatest warrior's resided, all of course to take out Flute in case he lost it again. At least that's what he had figured over time and his opinion probably wouldn't change, even if Guru himself told him differently. The village consisted of maybe five to nine building's in total. There was the large, town hall where the Elder lived and met with others in the village. As far as the rest of the village went, it was scattered about over about a mile radius. Most of the far out house's were those that held the mighty warrior's of Namek and housed them. The separation was actually in all truth a strategical design of the village. They mapped it out to where the warriors were guarding a corner of the village, all at points around the main building where the elder resided. While Flute hadn't learned it from anyone directly, he became almost certain that it was from this batch of men that Guru's guardian was chosen. The guardian's that were chosen moved to the very house of Guru, helping him live in peace and protecting him from any sort of outside harm. On the furthest corner of the village was where the had placed Flute. Like many of the other home's, it was small with just enough room for a bathroom, dining area, and finally a room for him to sleep. These were equally separated for their own unique purpose in order to keep happiness in the home but at the same time small and close enough together to make sure that the home didn't take up too much space. As far as the climate of the location went, it was far different than anywhere else on Namek. Quite often the area was hit by heavy storms or attacked by beasts of mythic proportions. This was all to prepare the warrior's trained here for the duty of protecting Guru eventually. Flute never understood why, aside from protection from himself, Guru would place him here. He had absolutely no intention of ever becoming the old man's guardian. "Good Elder Ocarina, I have awaited this day with joy," The tall and strong looking Namekian said in a deep voice, deeper than even Piccolo's. "I have strived so hard to be accepted back with my own people and repent for my crimes. You know better than anyone what length's I've gone too just to have my people accept me again. What is my task?" The large warrior said. In truth, Flute stood nearly six-two and was mostly made of pure muscle with little fat on his body at all. He had the remarkable scar across his right cheek, long and zig zagging in the shape of a large N. It covered just below his eye, down, then up again and onto his nose. The scar continued until just below his left eye where it finally made it's rest. He had forgotten who gave it to him, but he did remember a small dagger that nearly ended his life caused it. As for his attire, Flute wore a large cape on his back with a huge collar like Piccolo's, only this one did not go over the front of his shirt but rather was like that of a scarf, except it was fully connected. The shirt he bore was blue in color and large on his rather bulky chest. He had a black, short sleeve shirt underneath that only the sleeve's showed on from underneath his shirt. Around his waist was a large and thick yellow sash. The sash held up his black pants which was a trademark of many Namekian's. The pants were baggy around the legs and tightened at the foot. Most of the time they were seen in white, but similar to Piccolo, he chose a different color. As for his shoes, it was like the other Namekian's, a sort of brown color mixed with orange. He also had rather large feet. "Flute, the task you have at hand is simple yet one of the hardest task's you will ever complete in your life. To the north on our island is the mountain of Gravier. You remember it yes? Atop that mountain lies the Dragon Gravier Wyrm, the creature the mountain was named after. You are to climb the mountain without the use of your bukujutsu. Once you reach the daring and high peaks, you may fly again as you slay the legendary beast. You are the first to ever be asked a task like this, but I'm confident you can do it. I know you can," Ocarina said to Flute, a smirk on his face. Flute had a confident look about his face, towering over the smaller and much more plain Namekian. "You're right, I can do this and I'll even bring back his horn that rest's on his nose as a token to you," Flute said with a look of joy. It had been a long time since he had been able to be in a real battle. Ever since his training began, he had only had spars over and over again with the chosen warriors who resided in the village. Again and again he fell again them until he finally beat each of them in combat. It was a true testament to his power and strength. The battle's had however been burdened down with rules and he could tell, he had never fought a single of the men at their full power. Each battle had a huge handicap place on them by Ocarina which of course was for Flute's own good. Why did the elder's of the planet though seem to want greatness out of him? It didn't matter, the time had finally come. "As a reminder, you will be banned from using the power of flight until you are at the base of Gravier's nest. Until then, I will be watching you from afar. You have learned, I have many trained eyes to watch this village. If you are to cheat, I will know and you will remain an outsider for another three years at least," The Elder said in a stern tone. It was something to worry about in a way. Flute had already been striving for nearly two years now. Failure would either result in his death or he would once again become an outcast to his people. "You have my promise that I will follow the rules you have set before me master. Shall I be off than?" The Namekian asked his elder. Ocarina nodded and Flute abruptly turned to face the north. The mountain was at least a good couple miles away and while he could run at blazing speed and be there in a matter of second's, he felt as if he should choose to take his time. Even though he was confident in himself, the feeling that this could be the last time he would be able to take in the beauty of it all. Little did he know of the true danger that laid ahead and the truth of what was at the peak of the mountain. This day would end in tragedy, but ultimately triumph. [Word Count: 1,607] |

The walk began as a slow one, not picking up pace just yet. Flute had known too well, the risk he had today was the greatest he had ever faced. Sure, he had fought in many battles when he was a Space Pirate and many were grave situations. Today however seemed to give him an awful gut feeling that was beginning to twist around in his stomach. As he walked, arms by his side, he began to look over how fragile life really was. He saw a small butterfly flapping around near the waters edge. It neared a flower on which it landed and as he observed, a toad hoped along. The poor unsuspecting creature looked innocently away, unaware of it's impending doom. A moment later, the tongue lashed out and the butterfly was in the mouth of the toad, then no more. It was a bleak reminder to him to keep up his guard. As he walked along, he soon came to realize that this utter beauty was slowly him down from the task at hand. He couldn't ignore it any longer, this was the meeting point between him and his reunion back into the love of his people. Picking up speed, he went from a walk to a run and then a sprint. In no time he had blasted out at amazing rate of speed towards that ever so distant mountain. The island in which this mountain and the village sat upon was much different from a lot of the Namekian landscape. For one, it was much larger than almost any other island around. Second, there was absolutely no point between him and the mountain where he would actually have to cross a single bit of water. The burst of speed was short lived as something caught his eye. Stopping still many yards away from the very tempting and ominous mountain, he looked up towards the sky. It was as if the universe itself had some sort of astral disturbance. The sky was covered in clouds, spinning and as if the mountain itself was some form of volcano. In truth, it was no volcano at all, just a rising in the land cause by the movement of plates in the planet's crust. With this knowledge in mind, the occurrence in the sky was rather bothersome to say the very least. The spinning clouds were near the very peak in which he needed to reach. Lightning of an unholy, red color was striking at that peak which the dragon laid. What could be going on? "I wonder if this has anything to do with this feeling I have...I can describe it to myself or even begin to understand why I feel this way. It bring's me fear and yet I want to go after it anyway, denying all sense of judgement," Flute said, thinking out loud. No matter what his mind went to, the curiosity to find what was looming above stayed, lurking in the shadows. Like a monster born out of pure desire, his brain was stemming forward like what killed the cat and wanted to ascend to the heavens and find out just what the hell was going on. No longer able to resist it and knowing that no matter what, he was going to have to anyway if he wanted to become accepted once more, the taller Namekian trekked onwards towards the mountain. Coming up and upon the foot of the looming mountain, the Namekian took a glance up once more. The rocky height's that led to that vortex in the sky and ultimately that peak and dragon, it seemed like an impossible climb. Doubt was coming upon him in wave after wave, hitting him again and yet again. Could he really accomplish this task? Sure, he was strong and had great endurance, a warrior true and true. The task at hand though, it seemed that it would even be impervious to the mightiest Namekian warrior. It even seemed that a God might have trouble ascending such a massive height let alone making it to the top alive. At that very moment something eerie came over him. It was as if there was someone nearby, lurking in the shadows. With a swift turn, he glared out to face towards a rocky outcropping near him. He couldn't sense, but his gut feeling had turned another cycle and it seemed worse than ever. Deciding to raise his voice, he spoke up. "Whoever you are, show yourself!" OOC: Follows directly after this spar: http://z10.invisionfree.com/alexsdbzrpg5/i...showtopic=24424 “You’re not the normal Namek,” gasped Reijin through short breaths. “And trust me, I’ve met my fair share. You’re strong, much too strong to be a normal worker. What are you, some kind of Super Namek or something?” A response did come, but it had fallen to deaf ears. The battle had worn the Saiyan down beyond anything he had ever experience before and as he fell to his knees to vomit, that fact became even more apparent than he would have liked. As a Saiyan, his pride should have swallowed all other things, but that’s where Reijin differed from his primitive race. He wasn’t ashamed of defeat, not that he particularly liked it, but the world didn’t revolve around constant battles and becoming stronger; he enjoyed it, but he didn’t need it. War was like a drug to Saiyans, but Reijin had jumped that bandwagon a long time ago. Wiping the sweat from his forehead and rolling onto his back, he stared up at the few white clouds in the sky. It really was a peaceful day, but between battling random weaklings thinking they can conquest his planet and getting his ass handed to him by a freak Namek, the day was turning out a lot stranger than he would have imagined possible on the tranquil planet. One thing that did become painfully obvious though, and the only good to come from this wacked out day, was that he needed to get stronger for his own good. Not only did a mere Namekian, super or not, defeat him in combat, but his endurance was seriously running lower than he would have liked. Of course, there was always the possibility that today was just an off day, but other than fatigued, Reijin was feeling good. It had been a while since his last real challenge and though it was nice to finally have a rival again, he wasn’t sure it would stay that way for long. The Saiyan rarely kept friends and thought that was a story that he would never let slip, if he could prevent it, it was something that he had convinced himself to be the best thing for everyone. Death seemed to follow him everywhere he went, it was uncontrollable and unavoidable, and that’s why he was such a loner. He did, however, know that it was a curse more than a blessing, yet he was too stubborn to keep to his own values. “So, what’s next?” asked Reijin as he placed his hands behind his head and sighed. “I mean, what is there to do around this grass ball of a planet?” Post: 445 Words |

Flute by this point had begun to walk away, almost as if to ignore the Saiyan any further. He knew little of the Saiyan race and yet he could careless. The only true goal he had in mind was to ascend this mountain and meet with destiny. He knew not what awaited him at the top nor did he fear whatever it may be. The only thing he truly cared about was becoming part of his race again, accepted, loved, cared for. In the end however, he could never actually be a true brother of the people that were fathered by Guru. He himself was not a child of Guru but rather, a child of a long forgotten clan. They were known as the Dragon Clan which Kami himself was from. Due to the fact of this, it was one of the main reasons he had left Namek to begin with. The Namekian was one of the last survivors of his clan and due to the difference between he and the people of Guru, he felt as if he didn't belong. Flute abruptly took a Namekian ship and blasted off into the deep reaches of the cosmos. It was here that he landed on a small planet without a name. This planet was a place that many Pirates and other criminals in the universe tended to gather. By this point, his ship had suffered much and was in pretty bad shape. He couldn't leave the pathetic, small rock he was own and one day he was confronted by a gang of pirates. These few were very famous for what they did, cold hard killers known by all. The tall green man had no idea and when they threatened him, his temper flared. A brawl soon broke out, four against the single Namekian and some how he won, beating all of his opposition down to bloody pulps. The entire smugglers den had by this point come to watch and a single, powerful Makyogen had noticed his awesome might. He posed an offer to Flute to join his gang of Space Pirates and together they would become the rouge's of the galaxy, a shadow of death and their own self indulgence. At first he was reluctant, but with no where left to turn, the warrior did agree. From this point on he became one of the Elite Shadow Knights, a group of many Space Pirates under the command of the Makyogen known as Spicer. They looted, pillaged, and robbed many people and eventually Flute fell to the darker side of life. It was through this that eventually led to his near death. The Elite had come under the gaze of a Changling by the name of Frozone. The alien had found them to be a thorn in his side, robbing many of his transport ships between the planet's he owned. The anger of the beastling grew until finally he sent for his most elite troops to hit the lead ship of the fleet and kill Spicer. By this point, Flute had become second in command and unchallenged by but Spicer. The night was a cold and dark one when they were finally attacked. Spicer and Flute fought well, but they were outmatched and eventually everyone fell except for Flute. He had nearly died and looked among the casualties, face covered in huge gashes which would later form his scar. After the ship was left to float as space debri, the injured Namekian had crawled his way over to the escape pods where he blasted off aimlessly into space. It was through this that he amazingly ended back up once more on Namek and now where he was today. It was about this point he realized that Reijin had said something and he barely caught the end of the words. He didn't bother responding but rather laughed. Super Namekian? Really? This Saiyan must of just never fought a true and powerful Namekian warrior such as himself. Despite this, eventually Reijin spoke up once more and he responded. "What's there to do? Well right now I'm actually on a mission. It's not for the likes of someone such as yourself that I go into detail as to why, but today I must slay a beast up on this peak without flying to the top. The goal is so I may be once again accepted with my people....no longer an outcast," The Namekian said, nearly trailing off as memories of the past tried to force their way back yet again. He denied them though and spoke once more. "Reijin, I'm going to climb this mountain. I don't think that's going to be too entertaining for you but it's something I must do. I just wonder what the hell is going on up there," He said, returning his eyes once more to the strange lightning and clouds. Without another word, he placed his hands upon the rock and began ascending the mountain. There was no path, nothing to make it any easier for him and the mountain was extremely tall. It would have to take any normal human days to climb but would take him only hours. Before the Saiyan would be able to say a word, Flute was climbing up at an amazing rate of speed, rocks falling here and there. Still, it was time consuming and slowly it was draining down his energy. However, as time passed and they came near the clouds, something caught his eye. His gut began to turn again...multiple thing's were descending down, straight towards them...and they were alive! [Word Count: 945 Saga Total: 3,307] |

Only a few broke the cloud barrier at first, followed by more and more until it seemed like an endless enigma had been plagued upon the planet of these vile beasts. They looked like the Dragon's hatchling's...but much more demonic with razor sharp claws and large, red eyes. They had large fangs and spikes jutting out from all over their bodies. The most demonic feature was the fact that a strange, dark red aura was bursting off of them. These monsters flew straight past Reijin and Flute, heading off into all directions, all over Namek. A good number of them headed straight for the village in which Flute had been staying. It was utter chaos because he had no idea how powerful they were, however these manifestation's of evil were looking for destruction, already beginning to destroy the beautiful landscape in their path. "The village can handle itself..." Flute said, jumping off the mountain and breaking the rule he had held so dear to this mission. Now flying, he quickly looked to Reijin. "The other village's won't stand a chance against this onslaught. They have warriors but I don't know if they will be able to stand up to the might of all this chaos," Flute said, balling his large hand up into a fist. "Don't sweat it, this might be fun. I'll hold them off, you just go to the top and find out what's causing all this," Reijin said with a smirk, blasting off and attacking the monsters as he went. A brutal battle was beginning to break out and Flute knew he could no longer hold off or wait to get to the top. The abnormal disturbance at the top of the mountain was obviously something completely unnatural. Forming his ki around him and letting out a roar, he charged up and brought his battle power to it's highest level. At this point, the dragon demon's had taken notice to him and were heading straight for the scarred Namekian. Flute smirked, blasting straight up. As each beast came towards him, he merely sent a punch to it's face or elsewhere to disable it. A few came at him and with a powerful chop to each, he broke a single wing on each of the monsters, dooming them to fall to their death. Many first hit the rocks on the mountain, either having their skull's crack or every bone in their bodies snap to pieces. They weren't as strong as he thought, but the multitude coming from the vortex above would eventually become an overwhelming, unstoppable force that he would wipe the planet clean of life. There had to be a source somewhere in the vortex and he was going to have to destroy that force to end the mass mayhem that was taking place. Fighting his way up, he cleared the mountain far faster than it would take him if he were still merely climbing up the slopes. Nearing the top however, he was met by another ten of the monster's. There was something odd about them though as he stopped, blocked off from advancing forward by them. The creatures began to glow and suddenly became normal dragon hatchling's again, but dead. Out of them popped out multiple, dark, imp-like spirts that began to fly all around Flute. They weren't attacking though but sweeping extremely close to him, letting out demonic roar's as they went. Finally the mass of demon's spoke, just as they were about to do something that would set a course for chaos. "We are legion....for we are many!" They shrieked out just as they all began to fly into each other, fusing together. In a display of bright yet dark light, the creature's became a hulking, large demon. He had large, demonic wings of his back, giant fangs, horns upon his brow, and his feet were like that of a horse. In the hand of the demonic entity was a massive sword, glowing with dark energies. Flute's eyes turned to despair as the hulking monster at him with a swing of it's massive sword. Blasting himself to the side with ki energy, he just barely managed to dodge his way from the massive swing of the bulky blade. Dashing forward with speed, he brought around a sweeping roundhouse kick to the left cheek of the massive beast. The creature roared out as it brought forth it's clawed hand, grabbing Flute in it's grasp and beginning to squeeze. It had unfortunately left his right arm free and the green man fought off the crushing force of the squeeze on his fragile body. Forming his hand into a dagger-like shape, he focused the same ki he would into a blast punch and stabbed it downwards into the hand of the beast. The hand began to gush with blackened blood and Flute just managed to get himself free. Legion wasn't about to give up though, flapping his massive wings which sent the Namek flying backwards. Flipping multiple times, he landed against the mountain and launched himself off of it, a goal in mind. Legion brought three powerful swing's of his blade at the Namekian, all of which he managed to dodge due to the bulky and slow, sluggish movement's of the behemoth. The demon opened it's mouth to roar and Flute picked up speed, flying straight into the mouth of the beast. It let out a massive choking nose as Flute flew straight up and into his nostrils. With a smirk, he formed the energy he would use to blast punch over both his hands as the beast got ready to sneeze. Spinning as fast as he could, he pointed his hands out like a drill and flew straight up. Legion roared out in pain as blood covered the warrior who was drilling a path straight up and into the skull cavity of the beast. The monster let out a roar as Flute blasted through flesh and bone into the juice of the brain chamber. Bringing his hand like a dagger again, he began to chop at the brain over and over again, tearing tissue and flesh, instantly killing the beast outside. With great power and speed, he found the ear and flew out, just as the beast began to tumble down the mountain and to eventually it's final resting place. As the Namekian came out, he realized he was covered in blood and other nasty thing's which made him utterly sick. Still, even in this grotesque state, he had a goal to accomplish. Flying up into the swirling vortex above, he soon faced howling wings and a mix of rain and sleet which slowly washed away all the horror's that covered his green body. Through the eerie and strange vortex of red lightning and demonic energy, he finally emerged at the peak of the mountain and landed upon the summit. His breathing pattern's had changed slightly from the now thin air, however he was still able to maintain himself. His eyes grew big however as he saw what was before him. There sat the dragon, a rotting corpse and dead. Maggots covered it and it looked as if it had been eaten from the inside out. To his utter despair, he saw a figure standing atop the beast and he hopped down, eyes locked on Flute. With a soft landing, the man stood only feet away from Flute now. A moment of silence went over as he looked into the eyes of the demon. The man looked absolutely human, save for his red eyes. The creature had long, dark hair that was mixed with red. He was wearing a tattered cloak with a huge and it was trimmed around the edge's. on his body was thick armor made of some sort of metal. It was covered in different, beautiful designs and covered his entire torso, down to his legs and feet as well. Along with this, the man had one hand covered in a gauntlet which had huge claws coming out of it, his probably. On his other arm, a long sleeve that ended just at his hand and like a priest, had a connected piece that went in between his middle and ring finger. Other than that, he had a clean, almost handsome face and no sign of fangs at all. Was this the source? "Well if it isn't a Namekian. I wondered when someone would finally come find me...I was just about to destroy this planet," The demonic creature said with a laugh. "W...what are you and who are you!?" Flute demanded. His whole body was shaking as he gripped his hand into a fist, old anger awakening once more. "A fiery one aye? And to think, I thought your entire race was soft," The demon laughed. "I'm so rude, I am the demon Drakimesh and my goal is to devour every soul on this planet so I can become a God. Clear enough for you?" The demon snickered with a smirk. "And you think I'll let you live after telling me that!?" Flute said, taking up an offensive stance. "Well, I don't plan on going back to Hell anytime soon," Drakimesh replied, taking on a cocky smirk and taking up a battle stance. The fight was just about to begin! Flute was torn by his anger. He had been told to restrain it, despite it always seeming to seep through at different moments. He had been told not to let it be the essence of his skills and yet it awoke anyway despite all he was trying to do to fight against it. For once though, he didn't care. This man or rather this monster was threatening his entire race or at least what was a separate part of his race. In the end the thought lingered in the back of his mind, he wasn't one of them. No, he wasn't one of them at all. He was of an entirely different clan, his place wasn't on Namek. Still, that didn't mean he wasn't about to defend the people for the sake of all who lived on the planet. He was no hero, but he wasn't a villain either. Without another thought, Flute jumped from the point in which he was standing and rushed Drakimesh whom had taken up the crush stance. Together they clashed, the Namek unleashing a barrage of swift punches at the chest and face area of the demon. To his utter surprise, the creature was easily weaving in and out of his attack's like it was nothing. He was laughing out loud as each blow came at him in a quick and great succession. This was beginning to piss Flute off, so in the middle of his offensive he suddenly did a leg sweep and knocked Drakimesh off of his feet. The demon roared out as it caught itself, doing multiple backflips to gain distance between him and the Namekian. It was too bad as an extended arm shot forth, growing longer and longer and in such a flash that it made contact with the demon's face before he could even react. As Flute retracted his arm and Drakimesh fell to the ground, he continued to laugh still. The monster continued to lay on his back, laughing like a madman. After a few moments of Flute's large self staring at him like he was psychotic, the demon man stood back to his feet. There was a small sliver of blood running down from out his mouth and he wiped it off with his hand, then licking the blood off that hand. A wave of disgust soon covered the face of the Namekian and the demon continued to smirk sadistically. "Not bad, not bad at all," Drakimesh mocked. "I don't see you attacking you scum," Flute said in response. "Well it wasn't my turn yet..." He said, suddenly vanishing. Flute let out a gasp, looking around himself with each eye scanning back and forth. "But now it is and I think I'll open back up that scar on your face!" The voice said, coming from behind the green man. A kick barreled into his back before he even had time to react, sending him tumbling forward. The demon vanished and reappeared in front of Flute, ready to take aim again, the Namekian however managed to cause himself to flip and send a kick directly towards the exposed neck of the demon. To his utter amazement, Drake caught the kick and flipped Flute over his head, slamming him face first into the mountain. The Namekian did not let this get to him despite the pain and blood now dripping down his face. As the demon went to attack yet again, this time with his claw, Flute grabbed the wrist of the incoming claw and turned his body with it, causing the man to trap his hand into the rock, at least for the moment. With Drakimesh in a bad spot, Flute let out a powerful chop to the throat of the demon, causing him to gasp for breath. In his stun, the green alien formed ki around his fist and sent a blast punch straight into the jaw of the fool. Drakimesh managed to free his hand and was sent flying, tumbling over the side of the cliff. The Namek went to follow, flying over the edge only to be met with a power blast which hit him in the lower torso, sending him tumbling back atop the peak. The demon landed once more, softly against the edge of the cliff, still smirking. Despite all Flute had done to him this far, the creature seemed completely unharmed. Taking many deep breath's due to the thin air, Flute found himself tiring out very fast up here. He needed to get away from this thin climate, otherwise he would be facing sure defeat. Drakimesh could see that he was struggling to keep it together and it made him all the more sadistically entertained. Slowly the demon began to advance forward, his dark red aura flaring around him. For the first time in his life, the Namekian was actually trembling. The fact that the demon was unharmed had already screwed with his mind to a high degree. What could he do? Regaining his composure, Flute stomped hard into the rock below his feet. A huge chuck flew up in front of him, flipping and if it were not for his next move, it would of merely fell back to the ground. Taking his left fist, he threw a powerful punch into the rock, breaking it into many smaller chucks which all flew at a high rate of speed at Drakimesh. It was a surprise attack and the demon was forced to put his arms up in an x shape in order to defend himself. This was Flute's chance! Focusing his ki, he flew backwards and leapt or rather glided off the edge of the cliff. Blasting downwards, he broke through the unholy cloud barrier and once more far above the ground. He managed to get just low enough to breath normally just as Drakimesh broke through the clouds behind him. A small, focused beam of energy hit Flute square in the middle of his back, sending him tumbling towards the ground, once again injured. Before he could recover, the Hellspawn blasted straight under him and sent a powerful knee into the Namekian's face, sending him tumbling in a circle. Teleporting, he appeared behind Flute and kicked him in the opposite direction, sending him tumbling opposite of what he was already. Disappearing again, he reappeared above Flute and axe handle smashed him straight into the side of the mountain, embedding him into it. The green man spit out purple blood as the rocks made a new, hard bed for him in the side of the mountain. There was little he could do at this point. "My my, I thought you would have more fight than that in you," Drakimesh mocked, descending in the air and hovering directly in front of Flute. They were still hundred's of feet in the air and the ground was far away. "I could just kill you now," The demon said, putting one hand out and resting it hard by Flute's head. He leaned forward into the Namekian's face and spoke once more. "But what fun would that be?" He laughed, unaware that he made a mistake getting that close. The Namek flung his head forward as he unembedded himself from the rock and headbutted the man straight in between the eyes and hitting his nose hard. A loud crack roared out as Drakimesh yelled out in pain. There was some damage now, a broken and bleeding nose. As earlier, it was obvious that no matter how invincible the demon acted, he was far from it. "Never let your guard down you bastard!" Flute said, freeing himself from the rock and sending a right straight punch directly at the demon's throat. He hit the adam's apple of the creature and sent it backwards into the throat of Drakimesh, causing him to gasp for breath. In his stun, Flute went at him like a madman. Three right punches followed by a left bore their way straight into the demon's face and caused the bloody nose to shoot it's crimson spew all over the place. He followed it up by grabbing that long hair of the demon and using it to twist his body horizontally. Throwing up his left knee, he caused the beast to arch it's back and roar in pain as it spit blood from it's mouth. Charging ki around his hand, he sent a stabbing chop down into the chest of Draki and straight out the other side where his heart was. "Ugh....You...have...defeated...me..." Drakimesh mumbled out. Flute smirked, by then the demon's eyes popped open and he yelled, "Not really!" Sending a powerful uppercut into the chin of the Namekian. Flying backwards, he held out both hands and began to charge. "I think it's time I end you," The monster said, hate in his eyes. What would Flute do? [Word Count: 1,503 Saga Total: 6,397] |

“Gotchya!” exclaimed Reijin as he appeared just behind Flute as he flew over the edge. “Hang on.” Knowing that Flute would be disqualified from whatever it was he was attempting to accomplish, Reijin didn’t hang in the air. Immediately descending and placing the Namek on his feet, he moved in front of the jade warrior and cracked his knuckles. The man before him, if you could call him that, was a freak and it was just up Reijin’s alleyway. This was what he lived for, bashing those that needed bashing. The demon eyed Reijin and the Saiyan followed suit. The two were locked in an epic stare down, until the Saiyan chuckled under his breath and closed his eyes, breaking the silence between the three. He couldn’t help it though; it was his nature to act the fool while preparing his nerves for the grand undertaking. Battle was worthless if you lost and tensing ones self before striking was a sure way to a quick death. Reijin knew that this man that stood before him, Demi-God or mortal, would be a challenge and he would need to use every facet of his potential to defeat him. “Let’s do this,” spoke Reijin, his voice descending a few decimals as he looked up through his eyes. “You die tonight! Wait, that was bad. You will fear thy wrath! No. Er, screw it. Eat my shorts!” Dashing inward, the Saiyan thrust his hand forward, releasing a super fast streak of energy that exploded against Drakimesh’s chest before he could react. The ki did little damage, but that wasn’t the goal anyway. Using the explosion as a diversion, Reijin slammed his feet into the ground and flipped over the creature’s head. Throwing a leg outward, he struck at the demon hard, kicking him in the rear of his cranium, throwing him forward a few feet Tucking into a combat roll, Reijin skid across the ground and thrust both of his hands into the solid earth below. Pulling upward as hard as he could, the super human began to tear a chunk of the ground from its resting place. The three warriors could feel the surface quaking under their feet, but only Drakimesh stumbled, for he was still trying to catch himself from the sneak attack. Watching as his opponent fell to his face, Reijin yanked hard, pulling the giant boulder from the ground and leapt into the air. “Aye, Flute,” yelled Reijin as he cocked his arms back. “You might want to jump!” The second he spoke the word “jump”, he released the enormous rock. The giant boulder shot towards the ground and its primary target, Drakimesh, with incredible speed. The air in front of it hissed as it popped and evaporated from the intense pressure of the gigantic projectile. It was a spot on attack with perfect precision and the best timing he could muster. Without a single doubt in his mind, the Saiyan knew that this would end the Demon’s life without question. “Please,” spat the dark creature sounding almost insulted. Lifting just a single hand, Drakimesh released a sphere of crimson energy that struck the rock well before it came anywhere near him. The ki tore into the boulder as though it were butter and detonated in the core. Thousands of tiny shards of rock shot in all directions, but the Demon had already created a barrier around his body which absorbed the impact of each collision; Reijin on the other hand, got the full impact of the blow. Razor sharp rocks sliced through his flesh, spilling the crimson liquid from his body onto the ground. Each one felt as painful as a bee sting, but there was so many that his body was unable to withstand the pain for long and the Saiyan was sent spiraling towards the ground. Bouncing not once, but twice, the raven haired humanoid came to a stop at the foot of his Namekian ally. Looking up at him, Reijin smirked and wiped the sweat and blood from his face. “Ouch,” he frowned. “I think he cut me. Did he take my ear? Tell me I have both of my ears. That son of a bitch took an ear, didn’t he?” Reaching up and feeling for his hears, he sighed with relief, they were both there. Lifting himself from the ground, the sliced up Saiyan wrapped his tail back around his waste and stretched his neck out. Looking at their opponent, Reijin knew that it would require both of their efforts to defeat him, either that or a lucky shot by one of the two of them. In the end, he had to allow Flute to finish him though; this was the Namekians mission, not his. That being said, he also knew that he could have fun with the fight. “Ready?” asked the Saiyan; Flute nodded. “Let’s do this, part two!” Words: 815 Total: 1,260 |

"Two on one? It won't give you the advantage, not either of you. A filthy monkey and a plant can't kill me," Drakimesh laughed out loud. "We'll just see about that," Flute said, bursting forward. Reijin followed close behind and the two were closing in on the demon fast. A flurry of punches and kicks let out straight towards the beast, however he backed up with great speed and seemed to weave in and out of attacks as if it were nothing. That same, saditic laughter was ringing out like a ever present hurricane and it could be shown that Drakimesh was having no trouble at all with the two of them. In a sudden motion, he did a double force palm, hitting Reijin and Flute in the chest, Flute on his left, Reijin on his right. The two were sent tumbling off into the distance against the ground, dirt and debri flying up in the air. Reijin was the first to recover, the less injured of the two. He was still bleeding, but the cocky warrior hadn't gone down yet. Holding out one hand in the dust of the dirt, he let off a powerful blast of ki energy which shot off and into the left side of Drakimesh, exploding upon impact. Smoke rose all up around where the ki hit and the Saiyan was sure his attack hit. Appearing behind him however, the demon came forth and slashed his great claw across the back on the Saiyan, sending blood flying in a spray from the slash. At this point, Flute was already rushing him and he grabbed Reijin by the tail, causing him to be nearly powerless. Lifting him by that tail, he threw the fighter straight into the Namekian and the two went tumbling. Before they could react, he let off a powerful barrage of crimson energy from his darkened aura, a powerful energy dan which was rocketing straight towards the pain. Reijin's instinct to flee from the blasts had set in, however Flute jumped in front of him, holding both arms out. As the barrage came, he began to hit blast after blast away, defending his comrade and damaging the beautiful landscape all around him. Drakimesh just continued to laugh as he knew that the two were clearly outmatched. Lifting one finger, he motioned for them to come again. It was now that Flute heard a message in his head. It was the voice of the Saiyan, however it wasn't coming from his mouth. The bloodied Saiyan was holding the blue gem of telepathy in his hand, just beyond the demon's view. "Flute, I have a plan. I'm going to distract the bastard, you surprise him when he least expects it and break him," The Saiyan said psychically and in a cocky tone. Before the bloody and injured Namekian could do anything, the Saiyan flipped over his head and rushed the demon head on. Drakimesh cocked a smirk, a punch flying at his face. He caught the Saiyan's punch and countered with one of his own, smashing into Reijin's face and breaking his nose like the demon's had already been broken. Crimson blood streamed down Reijin's face as he struggled to get his hand free. Brining up his knee, he hit Draki in the jaw, however the demon brought his own knee up and smacked the Saiyan in the stomach, causing him to hunch over and spit up blood. "Time to get this over with..." Flute mumbled to himself, dashing around Drakimesh as he was distracted with Reijin. Coming around back of the demon, he blasted forward with great speed and focused energy into his fist again. Coming to the back of Drakimesh, he clocked him in the back of the head with his right fist and knocked the wind out of the demon. Throwing forth his other arm, he grabbed him by the hair and pulled him forward. With his right arm, he focused the blast punch energy into his elbow and tugged on the hair of the monster. Slamming the elbow down, energy exploded in the very face of the sadistic beast, however he wasn't finished there. Throwing his right arm around the demon's throat, the much larger Namekian held him tightly by the throat and brought forth the sharp nails of his left hand. Before Drakimesh could struggle free, he jammed two of the clawed fingers into the eye sockets of the demon, blinding him. As he retracted the fingers, eye jelly and blood shot forth as the demon roared out in pain. A sharp, right elbow came from the demon and hit Flute in the stomach, causing him to lose his grip. Another elbow freed the demon from the grasp of the Namek and he quickly spun around, still aware of where the green man still was. The demon couldn't see, but despite all his injuries he could still hear. Bringing up the clawed hand, he readied to attack. "Die!!!" The demon yelled out, grabbing Flute with his other hand. Before the larger creature could get away, the claw was sent forward rapidly and purple blood began to spew all over the place. Stab after stab from the demon's claws entered into the stomach, chest, and all over the body of Flute, creating wound after wound. Flute roared out in pain, unable to move or even react. The pain was intense and it seemed like the end for him. "It...can't...end...like...this..." The Namekian said, fighting against all odds. Some how or another, he managed to move his right arm and stab into the eye sockets again, this time deeper and to the very brain of the demon, then out the other side, sending blood all over the place. The Namek was no longer being stabbed, however he was a bloody mess, slowly bleeding to death. At moments notice, to his utter amazement, Drakimesh was still alive! He pushed the hand out of his hand, shaking each second and nearly dead himself. The demon then spoke. "I...won't...die...you and I...will be my...new vessel!" The demon roared. Suddenly he lit up pure white and it traveled from his arms to Flute's shoulder, then all over his injured body until they were both enveloped in a thick, white energy. Reijin who had finally recovered from his own ordeal was nearly blown backwards by the intense wind that was created by the intense light. Inside the light, Drakimesh was slowly consuming the very soul of Flute. Something was beginning to happen however. Drakimesh...suddenly began to deteriorate! "This....can't...be! You're will to live cannot be this strong!" Drakimesh roared. The light intensified into an explosion and Drakimesh was annilated from existence. Every fiber of the demon came undone like thread and then vanished away, leaving the spirit of Flute to whatever was left. The light began to calm down and out of the smoke it created appeared a figure. It was a Namekain, however much different. He had no pupils, darkened skin, and black pants. Strange, black marking's covered parts of his body, arms, and even part of his face. The dark marking's also seemed to creep up the scarf that was around his neck and he was shorter than Flute, no where near as big. He had dark spots instead of purple and something else was strange. Finally the figure spoke, barely able to make sense of anything. "I....survived..." Flute said, his eyes suddenly closing. He began to tumble forward and then hit the ground with a thud. Some dirt was stirred up, but the wind soon blew it away. Beyond anyone's knowledge, Flute was back to how he was when he first landed on Namek...no longer a hero but not a villain either. His mind was now returned to it's previous state entirely. No longer was he any sort of hero in any way, shape, or form. He had been heading down that path as the elder had intended, however Drakimesh wasn't completely destroyed as it had seemed. Rather he was merely consumed and only fragments of him were left. Since he was trying to devour Flute's soul, the fragments combined with his soul and his darkness was rested within the very core of Flute. The Namekian would never be like the demon, however he would never be graced by purity again. Reijin stood there, slowly walking towards Flute. He was up to something.... Reijin chuckled once again as his opponent vanished and his ‘ally’ fell to the ground. It was to be expected, the Namek people were weaklings and he was a God among the insects. Truth be told, he couldn’t care less of the green humanoids or what they stood for; peace only lasted for so long and war was inevitable. He only wanted to keep on Flute’s good side to manipulate him into assisting with the kill of the mountain God. Low and behold, his plan had come to fruition and he was beyond himself with glee. All that remained was the simple task of disposing of the worthless Namek. “So how am I going to do this?” the question was rhetorical, but the psychotic nature of his Saiyan inheritance allowed him semi-control of his actions; not that it made it any better. “Could just blow him to the next dimension I guess. Maybe I’ll just William Wallace his ass. – His stomach growled – Screw that, maybe I’ll just make me some Flutely Flakes.” Reijin’s tail wagged out behind him and his tongue dribbled out of his mouth. Dark thoughts swirled around in his mind as he reached down and scooped up Flute by his collar. Dragging him across the ground, he bumped the unconscious Namekian into a few rocks before setting him upon one, posing him in an awkward position as he took a step back and mentally snapped a picture of his prey. This was his favorite part, toying with them and making them beg for his mercy. By the time Flute woke up, he would be either in peaces or just a lot of pain; it just really depended on which route the Saiyan was willing to go. Reaching into a pocket, he removed a few clamps that seemed physically impossible to have been stored in such a small place. Extending them, he placed one around each wrist and one across Flute’s neck, pinning him to the heavy rock. Licking his fingers and smoothing out his eyebrows, Reijin cracked his knuckles in his palms and slapped the Namek in the face; his fate had been decided and the Saiyan was going to love how it was to play out. A fully conscious torture followed by drowning him by his own, purple blood. There wasn’t anything much better than that, not for him at least; it was going to be memorable. Flute groaned, but didn’t completely wake. Slapping him again, Reijin muttered under his breath and began summoning energy into his right hand. The man’s palm immediately exploded with a brilliant yellow aura as he lowered it to the Namekian’s thigh. The second he touched Flute, a sharp pain traveled through the green creature, but more importantly, his leg became immobilized. Startled, but not one to shout out from pain, the Namek clenched his teeth at the Saiyan reached down and replicated the pain in the opposite leg. Both legs were now completely immobile and with his arms and neck bound, he was completely at Reijin’s mercy. “It’d be best if you didn’t fight it,” began Reijin as he powered up his strange technique once again. “It’s inevitable and your feeble attempts to escape will only end with you dying exhausted and trust me, you’re going to need that extra strength where you’re going. The climb to the afterlife is not a fun one, nor is it easy. Just relax, it’ll be over soon enough and yes, it’s going to hurt.” Lowering his hand towards Flute’s head, Reijin was suddenly struck in the side of the head by a yellow blast of pure energy. The strike had flipped him sideways, slamming him into the ground after completely a full revolution. Skidding a few feet across the jagged rock, blood was smeared under him as he turned his head, but found no one where the blast had come from. Confused, he listened and heard the sound of metal begin torn free from rock. Peering angrily towards Flute, the Saiyan found another Namekian helping his captive prey out of his bonds. “Hey jack ass!” screamed Reijin as he rubbed his face and stood up. “What the piss was that? You really need to learn some manors.” The Namekian let a growl roll out of his throat. Turning to face the Saiyan, he clenched his hands into fists and stared down the fiend. He couldn’t believe that someone would have the nerve of torturing a Namekian, they were supposed to be a peaceful race, so there was no way that the man’s captive held any menace over this creature and by the looks of it, barely any power. Something was wrong with this man anyhow; he seemed to be enjoying the torture, not using it to gather information. Not that he was like his brethren, but the nearly arrived Namek was none too pleased to find one of his own being massacred by a wanderer. “One chance is all you get,” spat the Namekian as he pointed for the man to leave. “If you do not heed this warning, I will kill you.” Reijin chuckled. “You really are the nastiest little green man I’ve ever met.” he closed his as and tried to speak matter of factly. “You really should be nicer to guests. I enjoy torturing your feeble race. Compared to us Saiyans, you’re nothing. This planet is boring as piss, so give me a break.” Piccolo Daimao smirked, the man asked for it and who was he to deny a stranger the gift he requested. “Very well,” he replied hastily, turning towards Flute and lifting him back up. “You will receive your break.” Levitating into the air, the jade warrior moved a few hundred meters away within a few seconds and placed Flute down behind a large rock for cover. Once he was sure that his racial brother was out of awkward position, he turned his head back towards the Saiyan, who looked none too happy to have had a Namekian turn his back on him. Walking back to him, Piccolo stopped only feet from the edge of his short shadow and looked him square in the eyes. ======================================== http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uY3LAFJbKyY ======================================== “As promised, your break.” he spoke softly as he watched the Saiyan’s movements carefully. “What the hell are you talking ab…” before he could speak, Piccolo Daimao appeared behind him and sunk his dagger like claws into the very most top of his head. Crimson liquid began pouring profusely down Reijin’s head and he immediately thrust his hands upward, clasping onto the Namekian’s muscular arms, but the hold was too great. Screaming out, he tried as hard as he could to rib the thick, green digits from his cranium, but they simply wouldn’t budge. Deeper and deeper they went, passing through his skull and into his brain. Reijin could see only red and black in front of him as his inner liquids began to pass over his eyes. A strange numbness overcame his body, but he couldn’t accept the coming end. “Pl…please…” the words were slurred and sloppy, but blood was now pouring out of his mouth as well. The end of Reijin was near. “Pl…” “Next time you fuck with a Namek, prepare for the inevitable outcome!” Piccolo laughed over the man’s suffering. “Now shut your filthy mouth and die!” Letting loose the darkest, most vile and evil battle cry he could muster, Piccolo yanked his hands apart with his hands still inside of the Saiyan’s body. For a moment, it looked as though nothing was going to happen, almost as if the two were stuck in a stand still, but before long, the fair flesh on the primitive warrior began to tear. He screamed out one last time, a cry for mercy and very unbecoming of a Saiyan, but then it was over. Within seconds, Piccolo tore the tailed beast in two, splitting him straight down the center of his body. Reijin was dead. Tossing the two halves of the lifeless creature to the side, Piccolo wiped his hands off on the rock and turned his attention back to Flute, who was still lying where he had left him. Daimao was sure that he would be fine, his regenerative powers would already be restoring the sliced ligaments in his legs, enabling him to walk and find his own way to medical attention. He was in no state to confront a battle warn brother in his condition anyway, so he lifted himself from the ground and levitated into the air. Shouting out his goodbyes, Piccolo hoped that one day, he would meet Flute under different circumstances, besides more pressing matters were at foot. Post: 1,446 Words Total: 2,706 Words |
