Dende had been summoned to visit the Enmak village. All of the inhabitants of the village were descendants to the wise and old Namekian, Enmak. Dende was flying all the way to Enmak. He had desired a special Namek to help him and Guru had recommended Dende. Dende was the Chief Assistant to all Nameks including Guru.

Dende was thinking that this task was going to be very difficult. Little did he know that this was a trivial work like fishing? Dende had reached the Enmak village and saw Enmak’s hut.

Dende landed neatly on the ground and entered the hut. He saw two one-year old Nameks lying by a bed on which lay Enmak. Dende was greeted by Enmak. Dende bent his head and asked for what cause had he been summoned here.

Dende, you remember the raid of Namek by an unworthy human. That human had killed all of my sons. The only sons I have now are about one year old. Earlier, I used to fish for my family when I was well but know…” Enmak said coughing up blood, “I have acquired a strange disease. I cannot bring food for my family and without it my last sons will perish. I know that we Nameks can survive solely on water and meditation but infant Nameks need nutritous food to remain healthy. They are as you see, skinny. I wish that you fish for my family for one week and I will pay you whatever is the cost. I would be very happy if you go down to Bledie pond and catch a few of those Bledie fishes and bring them to me. If they are eaten in a continuation of one week, it cures the strange disease I have acquired. I will make sure that you do not get underpaid, Dende. Please help me out of this terrible mess.

Dende replied, “Do not worry, Enmak. I will make sure your wish is fulfilled and you are once again hale and hearty. I will leave immediately and set off to the task you have assigned. I will make sure that none of your children and you starve.

Dende left the Enmak village and went to his little hut. He went inside the hut and took out his book about fishes and opened up the page on Bledie fishes. There was a picture of a white fish with red characteristic spirals. It said:

Bledie Fishes:

Appearance: White, red spiralled and edible fishes. Range from 1-1.5 feet in height and 2-3 feet in width. Tail fin is symmetrical in colour and shape.

Location: The only known location where these fishes are found is the Bledie Pond in the northern hemisphere of the planet Namek. Reside deep inside the water.

Feeding Habits: Are carnivores feeding mainly on other fish. They are slow therefore they are unable to catch other fish. Also eat dead fishes. It is mainly known for spreading a toxin called ‘aldethyloxenane’ which poisons fishes to death. Poses threat only to small fishes.

Uses: The stewing of the fish’s liver is very healthy to eat and is the only known cure for ‘tomohawkomuses’. The oil from the fish is used to cure various skin diseases. The eye of the fish is also used to cure many heart diseases. The boiled flesh of the fish is very useful in curing stomach infections.

Harms: A diffusing organ is present in the body of the fish which is easily mistaken for its liver. This secretes the toxin known as ‘aldethyloxenane’ which kills smaller fish and causes genetic disorders in larger beings. This toxin after entering the body of the organism modifies the DNA of the organism forcing the cells to stop all metabolic activities.

Miscellaneous: The fish has an adjustable blood pressure. It adjusts itself to its surroundings and changes its blood pressure thus. The property to alter the blood pressure is not common and unique to the fish.

Species: There are only two species of this fish, the other one being extremely rare and is almost referred as legendary because the sightings have not been proved and are not reliable.

Note: All the above stating have been proved and are reliable as they have been tested in laboratories governed by our Academy.

Dende sat down thinking. He meditated and pondered over the issue for some time. He was thinking of an effective strategy to overcome this problem. The Bledie fish were not easy to catch. They were intelligent and attracted towards dead beings. From his experience, he knew that the Bledie fishes simply loved the Deblie fishes. Deblie fishes were small and sharp. Dende opened the book again and searched for the page mentioning the details of the Deblie fishes. It had a picture of a small fish that was completely black in colour. It said:

Deblie fishes:

Appearance: Small and black in colour. Their eye is yellow in colour with a white pupil. It is 2 inches high and 3 inches wide.

Location: Found almost everywhere on Namek except the Bledie pond. Reside near the surface of the water body as they are in constant need of oxygen.

Feeding habits: They feed on small worms and insects found on the surface of water and plankton on the rocks lying on the shores.

Uses: The fish is not very useful. It is so small for anyone to feed on. Various useful properties have been found by our Academy but will be kept safe until proved with thorough scientific experiments.

Harms: The harms caused by this small organism are negligible due to less research conducted.

Miscellaneous: Very sensitive and burst out as soon as they come out of water making it very difficult to catch them. Must be caught in a utensil filled with water otherwise they explode. This ultra-sensitive nature can be referred to inability in adjusting to outside pressure. They were once found in plenty in the Bledie pond until being hunted to extinction by the Bledie fishes.

Species: Innumerable species known with different colour shades ranging from white to black. The pupil colour is white in all cases examined. The eye colour is yellow or red. Properties have been difficult to examine owing to the difficulty in collecting these specimens.

Note: All the above stating have been proved and are reliable as they have been tested in laboratories governed by our Academy.

Dende closed the book and put it on his table. He needed a plan to capture these Bledie fishes. Dende meditated for some time and came with an easy solution to the issue. He would first catch the Deblie fishes and tempt the Bledie fishes. Dende pulled his trusted fishing rod and went to the market. Here he brought some worms and went over to the sea where he saw an isolated island. Dende attached a worm on his fishing rod and lowered it into water. A fish caught it and Dende pulled it out and threw it into the bucket. This was not the Deblie fish. Dende watched on for a moment and he had caught a Deblie fish. Dende pulled out the fishing rod but as soon as the fish came out of the water, it burst open. Dende worked on for quite a lot of time without success until he saw a bird with an unusually large beak that swooped down in water with its mouth and caught a lot of Deblie fish easily. Dende remembered that he had once tamed a bird of this kind and it could help him. Dende whistled thrice and a large beaky bird sat on his shoulder. Dende pointed to the lake and to his bucket. The bird immediately flew off with its beak open in water. It closed its mouth after sometime and returned to Dende. It emptied its mouth in the bucket and repeated the procedure until Dende had enough fishes.

Dende stroked the bird and flew off to the Bledie pond. Dende faced an issue here about how to lower the Deblie fishes in the water. A few of them burst open and attracted a few Bledie fishes. But Dende couldn’t catch those fishes. Dende carefully attached the hook to a Deblie fish and lowered it in the water along with the bucket and swiftly removed the bucket and in about a few moments, a Bledie fish was in Dende’s swift hands. Dende threw it on the land as it could survive in air for about fifteen minutes. Dende had got a good supply of fish that day.

Dende returned to Enmak’s house and had the fish properly cooked for Enmak. Dende was pained by Enmak for the fish and for cooking the fish. Dende gave the rest of the fish to his bird but it would not eat the Bledie or Deblie fish. Dende gave the bird the other fish he had caught. Dende went to the market and sold the Bledie and Deblie fish for a nice bargain. Dende was in a rolling business and was prospering. Dende’s labour of seven days paid off and Enmak was cured. Dende could have continued fishing but he did not want to waste his time doing the job as he should be training hard. Dende was already having a hectic schedule of training and earning for his living. Dende reached Enmak’s house to offer a last visit.

Enmak was not under the trance of the disease that Dende thought to be ‘tomohawkomuses’. Enmak had also started fishing again for his family, spending long hours gazing at the sun with his fishing pole. Dende, however, caught a bucketful of Deblie fish in hopes of submitting them to the ‘Research Academy of Fishes in Namek’. Dende reached the institute and handed the bucket to the human salesman. The human salesman opened his eyes wide open and spoke sharply, “Give it to me, you can go now.” The salesman seized the bucket but Dende destroyed it with his Mesposo. The salesman yelled among the popping sounds of the Deblie fishes, “Do you know how useful these fishes are? We do not have any specimens of these fish. If you bring it to us again we will give you a huge amount of money. Go now and bring us some.

Dende smirked, “Keep your mouth shut. I thought this academy was any good but no. I know what you deserve and you deserve this.

Dende landed a punch on the counter of the academy which broke it into two. Amid yells of the salesman, Dende flew away. Dende had thought that he could contribute to the academy but if they hire such a salesman, Dende would never ever try to help their academy.
