Nana raised an eyebrow as he stooped in mid flight. He turned to where Bana had been fighting. His Scouter ticked no more with the power level of his former partner. He gasped in shock as he realized that the Namekian had beaten Bana. He couldn’t wrap his head around the idea that Bana had been beaten. He had seen battles uponm battles be won by Bana alone.

“Are you shitting me?” Nana asked himself in complete shock.

Nana turned to face back to the location that his leader, Kiwi had decided to send him. He contemplated on the thought of actually heading there now. He was pissed now with the loss of his partner and long time friend. He felt that he needed to avenge him in some way, but the cost of that could have been his own life lost in the process. Somehow the Namekian they had encountered was stronger than they had imagined. Nana wasn’t going to take the risk without Kiwi at his side. Plus, the mission was still a go and he needed to reach the Elder’s house.

Fife opened his eyes to see the inside of a hut. It was a Namekian structure. He hadn’t been in one of those for quite some time. He chose the cavern over the white fossil like houses that peppered the planet surface. This wasn’t any hut of one of the houses that were found in many of the villages on the planet. This one was special. It was the hut to the Namekian leader, Guru.

Fife stood to see Guru sitting in his large throne. His enormous body sat motionless in the ivory seat. His eyes were closed and his breathing was slow. It was a sight Fife never thought of seeing unless it was to kill the prophet. He body began to heat up as he stared at the large Namekian that had defeated his father and exiled what he considered his people. While his blood boiled the sight of another Namekian came into play. It was a warrior that stood not far from Guru.

“You’re awake…” The Namekian warrior said.

Fife grinned. He stared at the warrior and then back to Guru. The thoughts of lashing out and attempting in settling the feud that was bred into him all coming to an end. He could taste the battle almost as he visualized the chaos and the carnage. All of it, though, vanished with the voice of the Namekian elder.

“I see you are in better health.” Guru said in a grumbling voice.

Fife’s eyes widened in shock. It was true. His wounds were better and his condition was almost back to normal, if not more. It took him awhile to figure out what had happened. Then the battle between the hulk like alien crossed his mind. He was going to die through victory. It was a horrible way to die and a way that he did not intend on. Not then and no where in the near future either.

…But why? Fife asked himself.

Why would the elder actually bring him back. It was foolish. There was no secret to why Fife was there on planet Namek. He was going to get retribution for the deeds done against his father. Venegeance is what consumed the young Namekian and it was vengeance that he wanted even then. Yet, the man he was going to destroy had saved him. He knew Guru wasn’t blind to who he was. It was obvious…

“Don’t trouble yourself with such thoughts son of Pedagogue.” Guru said then.
