The sky flashed with blue and green lights periodically. There were sharp bursts of collisions noses as well. One looking above their heads could probably see something moving along the sky furiously as well if they wanted. The sky seemed to be reacting to two forces in the clouds that were exchanging blows...heavy blows that seemed shake the sky each time they made impact. Then someone came bursting out above the clouds. The fluttering brown hair that belonged to a female was the first clue of identification. It was Kasume. She just came bursting through, arms in a X formation in front of her face.

Charging without relent after her was Kento, a powerful silver sparkling aura around his body. His right fist was extended toward her. It made contact with the arms as they were fixed in place. Kasume's face protected, she simply felt the sting of the blow against her arms. Kasume parted her arms away from each other. She swung her right arm down at Kento with as much weight as she could muster behind it. Kento's upper body arced back, avoiding the blow. Kasume then found herself with Kento's foot smashing across her face. She flew sideways with the force of the blow. Kento appeared above her. His fists hammered down into her back, causing Kasume to plunge back into the clouds.

Kento proceeded to fly down into the clouds after her. Afterward, there was a flash of blue and green light after the sharp sound of a colliding blow could be heard. It was a fierce battle exchange between the pure hearted human and tainted hybrid. Strange enough however, it was all going on inside their minds. Sitting within the confines of their ship were Kento and Kasume, spaced apart from each other in deep meditation. Their faces showed a great deal of concentration to maintain the clarity of their mind battle. Kasume's face seemed covered in sweat. She was focusing harder than Kento.

Kento came out of the clouds from the bottom with Kasume chasing after him from above. His hands extended out before him, aimed toward Kasume. A shining silver energy blast was released from his hands toward the female. Kasume fell back from advancing any further. Her hands went slicing into the blast as it reached her, splitting it in half and causing the two newly made blasts to fly by her. They exploded behind her and knocked her forward where Kento waited for her. He spun around sharply and that's when he caught her. His heel rocketed into the back of her head and sent her spiralling toward the ground. Try as she might she was unable to stop her fall and she hit the ground with harsh force.

Instantly she came out of her trance, gasping for air. Her hands touched the ground and she started to look frustrated. Kento had come out of his trance was now walking over to her. He noticed her frustrated expression but said nothing.

"Grrr...I can't do it! I feel the power there but I can't touch it! Morgana....grrr!" She growled as she punched the floor.

Kento leaned against the wall, folding his arms. Kasume looked over to him with a scowl on her face.

"I know you're enjoying this. So why don't you gloat already?"

Kento cracked a smirk on his face for about a second. Then he became serious again and shook his head.

"I'm a humble man. You know that. Besides there's nothing about this to enjoy. I have to travel inside a small space like this for another projected week because we miscalculated the coordinates for Earth."

Kasume couldn't argue that. They were stuck on a planet called Namek now. The coordinates for the ship were off quite a bit. Fortunately there was a smooth landing in it so they could simply take off again. But Kento sensed something about this planet. So here they were. Aside from that, since leaving Kelioux, Kasume felt it easier to use her abilities. Some of her magic was working again. It seemed like she was making progress. Problem was...

"At this rate I'll never battle seriously if I can't break that spell."

Kento and Kasume stepped out of the ship to get some air. Kasume had broken quite a sweat from the telepathic spar. Kento seemed calmed by the clear blue-green sky above. All Kasume could seem to manage was to catch her breath again. Frustration consumed her.

I have to break through to my full power. I just have to.

Kasume's thought process became broken when someone from the side spoke to her.

"Well, in all my time I have never seen someone so troubled."

Kasume and Kento looked to the side to see a middle aged alien of green skin. He was wearing a cloak and hood over his head. The pair became on guard as they looked at the stranger. He removed his hood revealing his face. One of the namekians of the planet was standing before them and he had a grin on his face.

"And if there's one thing I recognize....it's trouble..." he finished.

Kasume spat at the ground just then as she looked at this person.

"Who the hell are you?" she asked.

The namekian shrugged at her.

"Nobody important. Couldn't help but notice your little problem though."

Kasume reacted in disgust. She hated strangers who stepped in, acting like they knew something they really didn't. If not for the fact Kento might stop her, she had half a mind to vaporize this walking green bean. But instead she looked him in the eyes with the look of death.

"Problem? The only problem I have is a stranger thinking he knows something he doesn't!"

The namekian seemed quick to chuckle. He shrugged and started walking off.

"Oh? I'm sorry. Forgive me. Must be someone else I was looking at with a skill-lock spell over them."

The moment he said that, both Kento and Kasume reacted. Kento proceeded to relocate himself from where he was standing to directly in front of the namekian. The namekian seemed to be smiling a bit just now as he looked up at Kento. He then glanced behind him where Kasume seemed all ears.

"What do you know about the skill-lock spell?"

The namekian shrugged again as he proceeded to walk around Kento.

"Not too much, only it's a pain in the ass for the person who has it cast on them."

Kento's hand was placed on the namekian's shoulder and he was stopped once more. He turned around and saw the angry look on Kasume's face.

"She hasn't had a beauty nap yet. I'd start spilling the beans if I were you."

Kasume's eyes were on the verge of turning red at that point. The namekian, seeing this figured he'd toyed with her enough for now. So moments later they were seated on the ground talking.

"The skill-lock spell isn't what you think it is. While it is true that it prevents the person from tapping into their full power, for the most part its more of a mental block that causes it rather than the magic itself."

"So you're telling me this is all in my head?" Kasume asked.
"For the most part. Unfortunately even knowing this, you won't be able to break the spell...least by yourself," said the namekian.

Kasume grabbed the namekian by the collar with both hands.

"Tell me how to break it...and maybe I'll let you live."

Kasume had her patience tried for quite some time. First, there was Morgana. Then, there was Kento. Afterwards, there was the human boy Junior Hiiragi. Now, this walking vegetable had the answers she was looking for and was dangling them in front of her like a piece of meat on a string.

"Hehe, she's quite the character isn't she? Kitty paws off, please."

The Namekian smacked her hands away. The moment he did this, they became engulfed in flames ready to strike him as she stood. This made the stranger nervous.

"Screw this! He knows nothing! I'm wasting him right now!" Kasume shouted.

The namekian flailed his hands up and down as he backed away from Kasume.

"H-HOLD ON! EASY! I WAS JUST JOKING!"

Kento proceeded to get in between her and the namekian. He held a hand in front of Kasume. Kasume continued to look at the namekian, waiting for him to say something relevant.

"There is a guy in a cove just east of here. Name's Xylo. He's one of those spiritual trainers. He's got a success record of helping people break the skill-lock spell. Go see him. He'll help you."

Kento gave Kasume a nod. He believed what the namekian was saying. Finally Kasume was able to calm herself. She had something she could use now.

"The cove isn't hard to spot. It's pretty large and by the water. Just head off in that direction."

The namekian pointed off in the distance. So Kasume and Kento made up their minds to go.

"Thank you for the information. We are very grateful." Kento said.

The namekian gave a nod and started walking.

"You're welcome. Glad I could help."

Suddenly he found himself grabbed again by Kasume. She had a grip on his hood tightly. He turned around and looked her in the eyes.

"Yes, in fact we find you so helpful we're willing to let you take us there!"

Kento folded his arms and shook his head. The namekian seemed a bit nervous. Kasume then flipped him around and looked him in the eyes.

"I should warn you I have a very short fuse for liars. So you'd better hope you're not one of them. Because if you are..."

Kasume stopped talking and raised a flaming fist up to the namekian's nose. The namekian seemed to give a nervous smile and a nod. With that, the two were ready to look for this person that could help her awaken her full power.

Kasume and Kento crossed the sky, but flew relatively low to the ground. They didn't want their namekian friend to not be able to spot the cove they were looking for. Kasume had him by the leg so he was flailing upside down. Kento looked over to the alien himself and suddenly a sweat drop seemed to appear on his head. Flying closer to Kasume he whispered into her ear.

"Don't you think this is a little wrong?" Kento asked.

Kasume looked over to the namekian who seemed to be shouting incoherent phrases at her. She then looked over to Kento with an annoyed look upon her face.

"He's cursing at me in a different language and you think what I'm doing is wrong?"
Kento shook his head, "Actually he's praying to God that you don't drop him."

He speaks Namekian now too? Kasume thought.

Kasume then tossed the namekian man into Kento's arms and proceeded to fly ahead.

"You take him then."

Kento watched her fly ahead along with the namekian he was holding in his arms now. The man looked up to Kento.

"Is she always this pleasant?" He asked.
"You should see her during a certain time of the month," responded Kento.

It was only a matter of time before Kasume's group saw a cove just a few feet away from some body of water. Kasume spotting it stopped in midair. Then she looked down as Kento approached with the namekian in his arms. Kasume took the man by the neck once more. She pointed down at the cove opening.

"Is that it?" She asked.
"Yeah, that's Xylo's cove! Can I go now?" responded the alien.

Kento looked to Kasume, giving a nod. Kasume took a deep breath and shook her head.

"Fine, get lost! Before I change my mind!"

Kasume then threw the man down at the ground. He hit with a single bounce from his back before getting on his feet. The moment he did so , a person exited the opening. This namekian man was far older than the one in Kasume and Kento had with them. He took one look at the fallen alien and shook his head.

"Don't tell me you've been causing more trouble, Yusif!"

The namekian man, Yusif, looked at the elder as he exited the cave. He dusted himself off and put his hands behind his back.

"Not at all," he responded.

The man had on a skeptic expression and then looked up to see Kasume and Kento land. Taking one look at their faces he could tell Yusif was lying.

"Head back inside. I'm sure something could use your attention there."
"Yes sir..."

Yusif quickly scurried inside the cove. The elderly man sighed and shook his head as Kento and Kasume advanced toward him.

"Such a troublemaker. I hope he wasn't too much of a bother. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Xylo. I'm one of the few...enchanters around the planet of Namek."
"I see. We were looking for you. I'm Kento and this is Kasume. We're from earth..." added Kento.
Kasume shook her head in agreement to Kento. "I understand you know how to break skill-lock spells?"
Xylo shook his head. "Skill-lock spells, mind control spells. Heck, I can open a pickle jar too."

Kento chuckled at that just a bit. Who knew Namekians had trouble with pickle jars? Kasume walked up to Xylo. Now that she had found this guy, her anger seemed to settle down. Xylo looked over to Kasume as she approached.

"Skill-lock spell. I'm assuming you both were victimized by such a thing?"

After Kasume and Kento shook their heads, Xylo pressed on.

"Ah yes. Skill-locking is a very common practice amongst enchanters and enchantresses. Since most of us rely on our magic, our physical strength can be quite lacking."

Kento had a frown on his face. Actually, Morgana did this to us because she hates Kasume.
"Morgana, the one responsible for this, is actually quite strong." Kento explained.
Xylo gave a devious smirk, "I did say most of us, right?"

Kasume gave Kento an annoyed look. Kento shook his head and decided to keep quiet.

"Skill-locking allows us to supress the vast majority of a person's power thus giving us a fighting chance. You'd be shocked to know how many out there resort to this tactic. You'd be even more surprised to find that magic isn't needed to break skill lock."

Kasume and Kento were surprised. The old man had an evil grin on his face as he continued to speak.

"Believe it or not, all skill-lock does stimulate the brain waves that work with the conscious and subconscious mind. It places the mental capacity to perform certain things in the subconscious."
"Meaning...?" Kasume went.
"All one needs to do is to become intuned to both their conscious and subconscious mind at the same time. It is still a magic spell nonetheless. So the powers of the conscious and subconcious mind must combine themselves in order to have the strength necessary to break skill-lock."

Kento's eyes widened. That explains why Kasume was able to unleash that flaming pheonix attack back on Kelioux. Her subconscious mind took over, allowing her access to the power.

"Aligning the conscious and subconscious is a very tough thing to do on someone's own. However, after a session with me you'll be able to do it without a problem."

Kasume was ready. She wanted full access to her own abilities. If this old man could help her do it, she could put her negative energies aside long enough for the man to do the deed for her. She sensed Kento would have an easy time doing this. All he ever seems to do is meditate and train. Kasume's mind flooded with images of her return to the spirit realm where she would face Morgana again. She couldn't wait.

"I must warn you the mental training is tough! So if you're weak minded then you'll be skill-locked for a very long time as you won't survive my training," Xylo said.

Kasume had flames surrounding her body at this point. Her energy was swelling with anticipation of being unrestrained again. Xylo looked at her, seeing her eyes glowing red. Even Kento was slightly surprised.

"I don't care how tough this training is! If you can awaken locked power, I'll burn the hours relentlessly until it's done!"

Kasume was without a doubt ready for the training to begin. Xylo could see her mind was made up. So it would only be a short moment of time before things were to begin.

Xylo brought the pair inside the cove. The two looked around at the furnishings. Xylo had managed to make this place a comfortable home. Kasume previously wondered how anyone could live comfortably in a cave. But had she done the cave on Kelioux anything like this she might have figured it out. There were torches on the walls that kept the place lit. It seemed the walls had been carved out to be smooth. There were little pot plants and stone night stands, a table where obviously Xylo and Yusif ate. And to top it off there were two smaller spaces on opposite ends covered by cloths which were undoubtedly the bedrooms.

Kasume and Kento were brought to a big space inside the cove. There was a circle drawn on the floor with candles lit on the edges. Xylo directed them to sit down facing each other inside the circle. Keeping quiet, the two did as they were told and sat down in the circle. Now they seemed to be waiting. Xylo went over to a carved out bookshelf and pulled a book off of it. He seemed to flip through the pages for a few minutes until he found what he was looking for. Kasume began to sweat in anticipation of what was to come. Kento, usually the center of calm, seemed to be waiting as well. Xylo came over to the edge of the circle.

"Well, I think we are just about ready," Xylo said.
"What are you planning to do?" Kasume asked.
"Simple really. Your subconscious mind becomes dominant when one is asleep. I'm going to cast a spell. But before I do you two must start meditating."

Kento was confused just then. He looked to Xylo. Xylo gave a nod.

"Look, if I cast the spell now you'll simply fall asleep and dream. But if you meditate and transport your minds to a mental limbo before I cast the spell, it will simply prevent you from coming out of the meditation trance."

Kasume looked over to Xylo now. He had on an expression far more serious than anything he's had since they had arrived.

"Once you're locked into meditation, you will be able to begin your quest to reconnect yourself with your mind. Once I cast this spell, this is the only way for you to wake up. If you fail, you won't reawaken."

Finally the catch 22. In all of Kasume's past experiences, everything she wanted seemed to come with a price. Now to awaken her full power she had to risk being trapped in her dreams. Kento didn't run that risk. She knew his father's spirit aura safeguarded him from most magics. He'd be able to reawake regardless. But Kasume had no such safeguard. There wasn't even a guarantee the two would be able to meet in dreamland under the influence of this spell. Whatever the risk at this point, she needed to take it. Otherwise Morgana would simply send her back to Kelioux upon arrival back to the spirit realm. With this, she looked to Xylo with a serious expression.

"Whatever the risk, I'll take it! Now make with the chants," Kasume barked.

Xylo gave a nod and pointed at Kento and Kasume. The two looked at each other.

"So, I know you'll be able to get yourself out of this meditation lock. But would you be able to get me out?" Kasume asked in a low voice.
"Breaking skill-lock for me will be easy. Once I do that if you manage to get stuck just send a telepathic message to me and I can get you out."
Kasume sighed, "Alright..."
"Good luck!" Kento said.

With that Kento began to relax his mind and close his eyes. Within moments he was in a meditation trance. Kasume took a deep breath and decided to follow suit. Once she was meditating along with Kento, Xylo started his spell. She could hear the chant at first but suddenly her mind drifted. The candle flames around Kasume and Kento began to flutter violently and magnify. The drawn circle began to give off a white glow and soon the energy projected itself up to the ceiling, trapping the pair inside.
==============================

Kasume's eyes opened again at that moment. She could feel grass beneath her. She was sitting on it. She looked down at the grass, gripping some of the grass and dirt in her hand.

I'm dreaming?

She smacked the ground with her hand. She seemed a bit surprised after that. The dream felt real enough. Looking around she could see nothing but forest.

"Ok, wonder where this is. Guess I'll fly up and take a look around."

Kasume found to her dismay that she was unable to access any of her ki energy as she tried to fly.

"What the hell is going on here?"

It was hard for her to believe this but it seemed in order to become fully connected with herself she was going to have to start from the bottom up and that meant...without her powers.

Kasume sat for a minute. Her mind was blank and her mood was less than pleasant. This was worst than being skill-locked. Here she sat trapped in her own mind with no powers. From the looks of it, this forest went on for miles and there was no way for her to tell which way lead to the closest end. Hopefully Kasume had not forgotten her survival skills. But in her own mind there was no telling what could happen.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Kento looked around. His scenario was very much different. He could feel sand beneath his feet. Looking down and around, he soon realized he was on a beach. Now if there was anyone that would be comfortable on a beach setting, it was him. But somehow he seemed a little edgy being here.

How strange it would be that I'm placed here. If I remember how this goes, I should be powerless as well.

Kento aimed a hand at the water and tried to gather energy. But after a few short moments, he felt nothing. His suspicions confirmed he simply placed his hands into his pockets and felt the breeze against his face. But his enjoyment would not last for very long. A presence made itself known to him. He turned around to see none other than Xylo.

"Xylo?"
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Kasume stared over to Xylo. Her anger was starting to build again. Xylo looked calm however, further provoking Kasume's temper.

"Xylo! What did you do to me? Tell me now!" she barked.
With a grin he said, "Precisely what you wanted. I'm helping you."
"I have no powers at all now! How does that help?"
"You need to rediscover your powers to break skill-lock. And you can only do that by becoming one with your own mind. "

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

"The sooner you do that, the sooner you can come out of the trance."

Kento had a grin on his face. He was ready for the challenge. By the looks of things, Kasume was probably non-existant here. The two of them were on their own. Soon as Kento gave a nod, Xylo vanished from sight. His final message was, "Good Luck". So now it was time to begin. He started off toward the edge of the beach.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Kasume spat at the ground. Since she was most likely on her own, She decided to clear it from her mind any hopes she had of seeing Kento in this forest. She was just going to press forward. Her feet beat against the dirt as she started sprinting further into the vegetation. Her eyes kept shifting from right to left. Should she have really been looking for anything? She felt like she was. Knowing Kento, he was probably already out of this nightmare trance with his powers restored. She needed to do the same and quickly. But what did Xylo mean by "rediscovering her powers"?

Unfortunately, it seemed like she might get her answer in a not so great way. Her body was suddenly knocked back by an unseen force. She smacked against a tree with her back before sliding against it to a sitting position. Shaking her head, she recovered from a momentary daze. She looked up and her eyes widened at what she saw. Standing there with an evil sneer on, was none other than herself.

"Well, hello Kasume. Ready to play?"

This darker form of herself had flames burning off her body. It was her demon self standing before her. Standing up to her feet again, Kasume looked at this demon double. Pressing her hands against her lower back she thrust her crotch and hip forward. There was a slight crack heard. Then Kasume placed her feet evenly apart. Her fists were tightened and now her eyes were fixed on the demon double. Demon Kasume was quick to start, vanishing from her place on the ground. Next Kasume knew she was being kicked to the side by her double. She used her hands to touch ground, flip herself over. Then she finished with a slide against the ground with both feet. Her hands then thrust forward meaning to project energy from them. But when nothing came, she found herself staring at her double. She had a smile on her face.

"I'm sorry...were you meaning to do...THIS!"

The demon double thrust her hands forward and unleashed energy from them effortlessly. The energy smashed directly into Kasume throwing her back as she gave a sharp yelping "YEEAGH!!"
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Kento stepped back in shock. Before his very eyes stood a maturely aged person. There was a silver aura around his body. He had a 4 inch beard and seemed to be wearing nothing but a pair of short paints. The maturely aged person with salt and pepper hair resembled someone Kento recognized.

"F...Father?!"
"Hello, son. I had hopes you would never have to undergo such a test."

Next thing Kento knew, he felt the hard force of his father's skull, forcefully pressing against his own forehead. Kento was knocked backwards. His father chased him swiftly.

"It's time for you to show what you've learned from me! Or die trying!"

Kento had stopped himself and was now throwing a roundhouse kick for his father's approaching form. Ryoken flipped over Kento, swerved himself around, delivering the base of his foot directly into Kento's nose. Kento fell, his head snapping back. His eyes showed excruitiating pain. He hit the ground once with a bounce and then landed again face down. There was no sign of movement at all as Ryoken landed in front of Kento.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Kasume looked around. She heard rustling from all sides. Her demon double was on the move. Demon Kasume was making use of speed teleport to accelerate her body. Kasume spotted her demon double on a branch just briefly before she vanished.

"Now you see me...now you don't!" the demon went.
"Am I here...?" Demon Kasume appeared upon a large rock to Kasume's right. She then vanished, "or am I here!"

Demon Kasume appeared inches apart from Kasume with a deranged expression, tongue hanging out.
"BLEAH!" she shrieked.

Kasume jumped back and threw a fist, only to miss completely when her demon double vanished again. Next thing she knew, Kasume was being pushed to the ground. Kasume rolled over to see her demon double laughing hysterically. Kasume scowled but her brows were quivering with slight fear.

She has all my powers. I have nothing! she thought.

As she looked at the demon laughing at her, fear turned to anger again as she stood up again.

"That's just not gonna work for me!" Kasume shouted.

She lunged toward her double. The double caught her arms, swinging her body around where it got pressed against a tree. Kasume then felt her double's arm press up against her chin. Kasume opened her eyes to see her double's evil smile. The smile disappeared shortly afterward and the demon double became angry.

"Weak..."

Next Kasume was swung around and thrown. But before Kasume could hit the ground, the demon released series of red electrical energy. The energy struck Kasume's body and left her suspended in the air. Struggling as much as she could, she found herself completely immobilized. The demon double gave a "hmph" and a smirk.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Kento was up fighting back. But when he launched kicks, his father dodged. When Kento threw punches, his father smacked them away. When he tried to use his own powers, nothing would happen.

"I'm disappointed in you son."

Kento looked above now to see his father floating there arms. Landing on the ground, he delivered a crushing left hook to Kento's chest. Kento dropped to his knees gripping his body tight. Opening his eyes, he saw his fathers feet.

I'm completely powerless...against him.

"You've become reliant on your super natural power! I thought you of all people would avoid such a mistake. My presence within you has been wasted."

Kento's eyes widened and he looked to his father in shock.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Kasume sat powerless as her demon double walked around her slowly.

"There was a time where you were strong....independent! Nothing could stand in your way."

Kasume growled as she tried to keep her eyes on her double. The double came up to her and looked her in the eyes.

"Now look at you,,,your love for Kento has made you weak."
"Grrrr! That's not true!!!" Kasume barked.
"Oh but it is! You can't even escape from one of your own techniques."

Kasume started to grow angrier as her arm muscles tensed up.

"But it's your own fault!"
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
"You've lost what drives you. The foundation of everything that you possess. You've forgotten that..." said Ryoken to Kento
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

"And become dependant on others for what you already had! Without Kento you're nothing now...you'd be dead now if he hadn't been there on Kelioux."

Kasume, angry before stopped to think. Her mind drifted back to Kelioux. She remembered her first encounter when she first arrived, how Kento showed up and rescued her. She then thought back to how Kento and that boy Junior Hiiragi were fighting renegades to protect the ship, and her. She found as much as she would not like to admit it, she was somewhat comfortable with their protection. The demon double had an angry expression on her face.

"Face it! You allowed yourself to be vulnerable. That's why Kento had to save you...and that's why your powers locked away with me!"
"It's...true..." Kasume uttered.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

"The connection you had with yourself has been lost!" spoke Ryoken.
"But how? I train hard physically and mentally every day!"
"Perhaps...but did you ever stay true to your foundation?"

Kento's eyes widened.

"My...foundation?"

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Kasume's effort to struggle and get lose was now gone. Her head hung. In just the past few weeks, her mind had become more clouded with emotions she'd not experienced around anyone but Kento. Now this demon double was hitting her with the truth...that she had allowed it to become a weakness. Kasume's loss of power, aside from skill-lock was a mental weakness drawn from feelings she didn't know how to deal with.

"All those little emotions swirling inside that head of yours...they own you! Just like I do right now!"

Kasume's mind focused on all those emotions that stirred up when she thought of Kento. She thought about what the double was saying to her and was remembering how she felt before she started getting caught up Kento. Kasume's emotions indeed were controlling her. But she was about to change all that. She opened her eyes again to reveal a red glow in place of her normal eyes. Demon Kasume seeing this, then started to have a grin on her face.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Xylo looked on in surprise. The bodies of Kento and Kasume sitting on the ground now had crackling electric sparks traveling around them. Yusif, watching from the side was shocked.

"What's going on?"
"They're breaking the skill-lock," Xylo said with a grin.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Kasume's body began to glow. Her power was returning to her. The red electric sparks binding her in the air were starting dissipate. Kasume was going to break free. She did just that after a few moments where she regained her effort to try and free herself. The second she got free, Kasume lowered herself back to the ground. The demon double looked at her. Kasume's head lifted so she could look at her double. Kasume's hair was fluttering up and down now, a red glow around her body a smile on her face.

"I'm baaaaaaaack." she said.

The demonized double took a prepared stance as did Kasume.

"Now...let's try this again," Kasume said.
"You lead," responded the double.

Immediately the two threw their right fist at each other and clashed them together. This caused a white light to form and swallow them both.

Kasume's eyes opened just then. Kento's did as well. The two took a moment to soak in a sudden sensation. Then they found they were staring at each other.

"K...Kento?" went Kasume.
"Kasume?" followed Kento.

The two looked down and saw they were sitting on the floor inside of the drawn circle.

"We're...awake!" Kento said.
"Yeah, and I don't know about you but I feel great!"
Xylo chimed in with clapping. "Congratulations, you've broken your skill-lock spells. You should now have full control of your powers again. But before you go...a gift!"

Xylo started to walk around the circle with a white and blue powder he was pouring on top of the drawn circle. He seemed to be whispering a chant. Kasume couldn't hear it clearly but she could hear him chanting. Kento seemed to be chanting the same.

"Kento...what are you doing?" Kasume asked.

Kento didn't answer her. But it was at the exact same time that Xylo finished the drawn circle that a powerful glowing energy began to travel from all sides of the inside part of the circle. The energy made its way to Kento and Kasume and once there it filled their bodies. Kasume felt this strange sensation and she was forced to sit there as it ran through her. Her energy felt like it was magnifying. There was a quick sparkling flash just then and all went quiet. The candles lit around them died also. Xylo closed his spell book and gave a bow to the pair.

"It is done! Your new power has been awakened."

Kento and Kasume stood up, feeling immensely refreshed. The two looked at each other for a second and then away. Kento closed his eyes and all went dark around him as far as he could tell. He opened his eyes mentally and found himself staring face to face with his father.

"You have my divine presence with you, my son. Never forget that. And never forget that which drives you!"

Kento gave a nod. WIth that, his father's figure became a misty white energy that merged with Kento once again. Kasume on the other hand was facing her demon self.

"Independence is the key to your strength! The second you lose it, I'll see you in limbo hell," the demon said.

Kasume had on a semi-sinister grin. The demon form turned to flames and merged with Kasume herself once again. Xylo and Yusif waved the two good bye some time after that. Kento and Kasume were in the air, flying back toward the ship. The two waved back to Xylo.

"Hey don't forget about me!" Yusif shouted.
Kasume had a devious smirk on her face. "How could I forget you!"

Her finger pointed at him and released electrical shocks that struck him.

"YAGH!!" The namekian shouted.

He now found himself burning crisp with smoke rising off his clothes. Kento looked at her with frown.

"Was that really necessary?"
"Hmph, good riddance little worm. Careful Kento, else you're next!" she said as she flew by him.
"Somehow I doubt that!"
"When we get back to Earth I'll let you try me!"

The two disappeared into the green sky, with thoughts of returning to Earth, and what awaited them there. For Kento there was the lucious paradise known as Kyro Island which he knew was missing his guardianship. But for Kasume, there was...revenge.
