Ow! *sees birdies* Yes, I know ... but why always with the violence, Pan? lol So what would the alignment requirements/restrictions be? It would be nifty if anyone could have an android regardless of alignment. |

Answer: Simple, meatbag. We have a limit of one at a time. Remark: If one 'dies', you can always rebuild it. Suggestion: Perhaps if one 'dies' you can buy a kit to rebuild it. @Diive: Sarcastic Answer: Oh I'm sorry, I did not know it hurt that much. There would be no alignment restriction. also, it would not be able to carry rare items. If it can't search for them, it shouldn't be able to carry one either. |

Well ... your PL ... It's over 190,000! *Diive's best Vegeta impression, which isn't very good* Sounds pretty good to me. It would be nice to have a follower/minion that wouldn't be lost if your alignment changes. |

It took me six minutes to think, open the reply box, type that up, proof it (badly, apparently) and hit the "reply" button. And somewhere in there I had a magical VISION about tacos. But ya, maybe android minions could get cool exclusive upgrades, like... Repair drones (-X% damage once per battle or something), armor thickening / upgrades (+X toughness or -X% damage from all attacks, maybe), and stuff like that. But not standard Android-race stuff. Maybe things that are special to the minion andrpids alone... |

Good thinking Raditz. Maybe there should be some upgrades for the android follower/minions only. However, we would need a pretty good reason why those same upgrades wouldn't work for a player controlled android. The only thing I can think of is that the android follower/minions get the upgrades through a unique plug in that is located on the back of the neck or on their backs. ... any other ideas? |

Perhaps the player-owned androids have special updating chips that player androids don't have and could never have? I imagine a player-owned android could never become as strong or as smart as a player-played one. Basically, I agree with O'Ryan. |

I was thinking that perhaps player androids are considered to be incompatible with upgrades usable on the minion androids? Since all minion androids would, at least stats-wise, be purchased from the same factory or company, they would all have similar designs. The player androids, however, are mostly either bio-androids, made by Dr Gero, or customs. This means they're probably not just your plain, basic, stock android. |

Thanks for agreeing with me Pan, but Raditz gave a good suggestion as well. Maybe we could use a combination of the two? |

Um... since no one has commented on this again, does that mean my idea has died off even though everyone loved it? |

Honestly though anything with physical composition should have a limit for the simple reason that all mater has stress limits and an organic with a power level of 300mill, non immortal and 400 years old (human structured biology speaking) should bare consequence for age and power has to be an unbearable strain on there aged vitals. Mater breaks down and degrades over time. All the technicalities aside, no underling should surpass there masters unless they have a professional air about them. All in all side characters in general are typically weaker then significant characters so all underlings should if not have a limit, grow PAINFULLY slow in comparison to there significant counter part. Main chars no mater there race in shows ever seem to stop evolving like X from mega man X, he was mechanical yet his compasity to evolve did not seem to truly stop only to be postponed. X's final adversary is a prime example, a mechanical being that evolved to a point he could channel cosmic power and not burnout, just turned incredibly insane. Point is non-significant chars should if not have limits be slow to evolve to greatness. |

Interesting point Vlad. If I'm interpreting what you are saying correctly, then you are suggesting that the android follower have a slow rate of growth. I agree with that idea. |

All minions but androids especially as they seem to evolve more so psychologically then they do so physically as the transition from stone to steel alone was a long and painfully slow but a grand transition despite the slowness, physical evolution of inorganic races should be slowest yet as steel is to stone, "get more bang for your buck" so to speak when they do. |

Alright. Okay, lets see what we have so far: Buying Location: Planet Avalon, android factory Buying Price: 3,000 zeni or more Maximum number of androids a player can have: 1 Starting Power Level: 1/3 of player's power level upon being bought Maximum Power Level: 50,000 ((Another possibility would there to be an item that would upgrade an android follower so they could gain a higher power level, somewhat like the Eluccia Crystal that can turn Elite Saibaman into Ultra Saibaman)) Starting Abilities: Rocket Punch, Self-Destruct, Hikou Starting number of techniques: 3, picked by owner upon being bought. Maximum number of techniques that can be learned: 6 fundamentals and 1 advance. Owner must know the technique for it to be taught to android. ((Was not discussed.)) Ways to increase stats: current android upgrades that can be bought, such as the exoskeleton and general upgrade. Can also be upgraded by android follower only items that might be created later. Can gain stat benefits from battling, partner training. NOTE: will only gain 1/2 of stat benefits from partner training. Can also be given DP and SP from owner. Capable activities: Can follow owner into battle, self train, partner train, take on quests with owner, equip non-training equipment only. Incapable activities: Can not take quests without owner, equip rare items, and can not hunt for rare items or dragon balls, nor self train. Did I miss anything? |
