A small sail boat bobbed lightly on the relatively calm green waters of one of Namek's larger lakes. Captaining the small boat (as he was the only one in it) was none other than the warrior Babosa. The Namekian felt out of place on the boat. It was technically his now. How he came to own it was odd. He had gone to Guru for another job, hoping to get another challenging mission that would push him to become stronger. Instead, he was told by the Grand Elder that his mission for the day was to do nothing. Nothing wasn't necessarily though. Guru just meant that he was pushing himself to be strong every day and it would wear on him. So, for the day, he was to try his best to relax. No training. No starting fights. Just spending his time relaxing. He even recommended a small village by the lake for him to spend the day at. So Babosa arrived and asked what he could do for fun. The locals suggested that he take one of their boats onto the lake and just spend the day out there. They let him have it free of charge, saying that its only use had been to go fishing, but since the fish had started disappearing, it was useless. And that's how he ended up here. Walking around the boat, Babosa pondered what exactly he should do. Looking at one of the fishing rods, he considered giving the fishing a try, but considering what one of the villagers said about the missing fish, it'd be unlikely he'd catch anything. Next to the rods was an unusual machine he had never seen before. Squinting to read the text on the front of the machine, Babosa read aloud "Pina Colada Mix Master. Made on Earth... what is a pina colada?". Taking notice to a red button below the text, Babosa decided to see what it did. The second he pressed the red button, a goblet-like glass rose into a compartment in the machine, positioning it right below a clean faucet that began pouring a sweet smelling, creamy liquid into the glass. Once the machine quit dispensing the liquid, Babosa removed the glass and gave it a sniff. It smelled sweet and like some fruit he had never tasted before... and something else. He couldn't place it. Giving a small shrug, he raised the glass to his lips and sipped some of it. Immediately his eyes widened. It was good. The taste was as it smelled, sweet. He was used to drinking only water and nothing else, so this was a welcomed surprise. Taking the glass over to a seat, Babosa spotted a magazine. "Z-Q Magazine?". Giving another shrug, Babosa grabbed it and flipped it open. He could probably enjoy it so long as he had this pina colada in his hand. Word Total: 478 |

"Haha! Ah! That's a riot!" Babosa exclaimed, pointing at one of the articles in the Z-Q Magazine he began reading. Just as quickly as he laughed at it he tossed it aside and gave a bored sigh. With nothing else to do, he got up and went to the Pina Colada Mix Master... for the sixth time that day. He loved the taste of the drink and had been going to it as soon as he drank down whatever glass he had. Unfortunately, he was unaware that alcohol was involved in its creation. While the effects of alcohol didn't affect Namekians to the same degree as humans, it still hit him. After all, his system only needed water, so that alcohol hit his low tolerance body. Thus, he had a small buzz. Putting the glass under the Pina Colada Mix Master's dispenser, he pressed the button for more of the sweet, rum based drink. However, after being used so many times in succession, the machine had run low on ingredients, and was unable to prepare a drink, giving only an irritating buzzing sound that, along mixed with Babosa's semi-drunken state and high level of hearing, angered Babosa immediately. "Shut up!" Babosa roared at the machine in his stupor. While the machine was just about to end the buzzing that indicated it was low on ingredients, it wasn't fast enough to calm Babosa's anger. Gripping the machine's sides, Babosa ripped it out of its place on the sail boat, and threw it into the water. Breathing heavily, Babosa's anger slowly subsided. Then, realization hit him. "Awww, I can't get any more pina coladas" While Babosa took a seat to mourn the loss of the device that created the most delicious substance he had ever tasted, the Pina Colada Mix Master slowly sank deeper and deeper into the lake. There appeared to be no life in the waters, just as the villager who gave Babosa the boat had said. Or at least, that's what was going on closer to the surface. At the bottom of the lake, there was what looked like a field of seaweed (blue in color like the grass on the planet). That was not the life that existed however. Rather, it was a large entity, with only an outline of its enormous form visible in the murky depths, that seemed to be resting on the field of Namekian seaweed. While the entity was sleeping, the Pina Colada Mix Master sank onto it. Its speed wasn't anything large in the water, but the fact that one of its corners hit right on one of its closed eyes that stirred the creature from its slumber. Irritated that it was woken up, the creature looked for whatever had caused its premature awakening. It didn't see the Pina Colada Mix Master, but instead looked up to see the small form of the sail boat on the water's surface. Giving a deep growl that was muffled by the water, the creature swam to the surface, ready to punish whatever had awakened it. Word Count: 509 Word Total: 987 |

Standing on the bank of a huge body of green water, Goku Junior, began removing article of his training gui. His eye’s, so filled with excitement; look on at the mysterious water as he lifted his weighted over his head. He was ready for an adventure; maybe some deep sea fishing even. As weird as the land creatures were, he knew that the aquatic monsters had to be even weirder and probably creepy too. “Man, this is going to be so cool. What a beautiful day,” the enthusiastic dialogue escaped his lips just as he removed his last boot. The saiyan boy was completely stripped down lest his white boxers. His scrawny little arms reached high above his jagged hair and formed a pinnacle. Goku gave too quick squats, then, like a tadpole or some other slimy, springy, reptile, he dove into the water. His form was perfect, technique flawless, and as soon as he hit the emerald liquid he took off swimming toward the sea floor. Here and there, a bubble or two would escape from his gaping childish grin. Junior swam peacefully along side all sorts of strange beings. He waved and giggled at them as he passed; he was sure that in there own way, they were doing the same to him. Goku broke for the surface. It was the first time he had emerged since entered the ocean. With the top half of his torso bobbing on the water, he scanned around the sea in all directions. Something was wrong though. There was no sign of land to be found anywhere! He swam so fast and so far, with out paying any attention to where he was going, that he was now lost at sea. Not really though, because just being on this planet alone, he was lost. It was still an adventurous and adrenaline pumping thought none the less. Just then a bellowing growl erupted from the ocean and forced ripples all around the tiny Halflings body. Had it not been his own stomach, Goku might have mistaken the rumble for a giant sea monster or something of the sort. “Boy am I hungry, I got to find some grub around he….,” his words were quickly cut short by another gurgling vibration. Goku placed both hand on his tummy, “Tummy, that wasn’t you making that noise that time was it?” The empty stomach replied with a short grunt that indicated no. Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he witnessed an enormous explosion on the surface of the water. Little Kakarot instantly turned fixed his position toward the commotion and watched on intensely. At first it appeared to be a rabid geyser spewing forth from the ocean’s depths; a tyrannical expulsion of mother Namek. But as the gravity pulled the green drops of liquid back to its original position, a giant, blue serpent was revealed. With it’s mouth agape and it’s sharp pointy teeth reaching for the sky, the beast let out a ferrous scowl that echoed across the entire planet. Goku froze momentarily; eyes stricken wide with fear and excitement. It was the largest fish that he had ever seen in his entire life. Nothing back on earth even came close to this monsters size and viciousness. Junior snapped out of his daze and gave further examination to the situation. There was a small dingy floating right next to the serpent’s base. The little vessel was swishing back and forth wildly with a small green blip hanging on for dear life. Without a second thought, Goku submerged back into the abyss and torpedoed his way over to the action. WC: 607 |

The large lake seemed to remain as quiet as it had ever been after Babosa's outburst. Without the influence of pina colada's alcohol entering his system every minute or so, his body was starting to expunge the alcohol in his system. And like a human suffering a hangover in the morning, he was suffering his now. "Ugh, damn delicious drink. I don't know what about it made me so... unlike myself, but I'll definitely avoid drinking it again... at least too many at one time" the green being muttered. Feeling a wave of nausea crash over him, Babosa rushed to the side of the boat and expelled some of the unnecessary liquid in his body. Wiping his chin of some of the liquid, he noticed something odd about the water. The water right beneath the boat seemed darker than the water around him, and there seemed to be a blue tint to it as opposed to the emerald coloring the rest of the lake had. As the dark patch seemed to grow larger, he noticed something. Realization struck quickly and he clung to the ship for dear life. His reaction was perfectly timed, as a gigantic blue sea serpent broke the surface, spraying water high into the air with it. Finally, the last of the serpent had left the water, and the waters began calming, the boat barely having made it through the whole thing without sinking. Then, Babosa realized that the entire boat was covered in shadow. Looking up, he saw the serpent descending on him, head first with its fang filled mouth wide open. He should have realized that such a large creature wasn't going to stay in the air for long, and that it'd be a surprise for all of it to even be out of the water at all, unless it knew how to manipulate its ki and fly. The Namekian warrior didn't even get to swear as the serpent collided with the ship, smashing it to pieces as the serpentine sea monster took Babosa beneath the surface. Thankfully, Babosa was at the edge of the ship, so as soon as he was pushed under the surface, he kicked off any piece of the ship he could and avoided being dragged even further into the depths. In his attempt to flee, he noticed some other creature propelling itself toward the serpent and himself. "Great, as if I didn't have enough to worry about" Babosa thought, preparing himself for whatever was coming close. Word Count: 416 Babosa Word Total: 1403 Combined Word Total: 2010 |

As Goku drew closer, the situation grew even worse. The dingy had capsized and now the Namekian was plunged into the water. On top of that, the blue serpent was now pursuing the fleeing alien. Goku watched as the stranger pushed himself from the boat. He was obviously startled, but who wouldn’t be if a fifty foot snake exploded from the water and was now chasing after you. Upon studying the aquatic beast even further, the saiyan realized that it was even more hideous than he first realized. It’s eye’s were piercing red and it had sharp, very sharp horns protruding from it’s skull. Spikes and hardened scales ran all about its body. This was definitely not something an ordinary person could handle, but Goku wasn’t ordinary at all. He was a Saiyan warrior! Junior turned up the heat and flipped his body so that his feet were leading the way. Like a wild flaring torpedo, Goku Junior connected with the beast right behind its jaw. The elongated beast arched its slender body in pain and then spiraled downward towards the sea bottom. Goku watched as the creature burrowed itself deep into the sand. Both Goku and the Namek surfaced at the same time. The courageous hybrid shook the emerald water from his raven locks then turned to the stranger. Upon closer inspection, the green man was no stranger at all. It was Babosa, the Namekian that he had befriended just days before. “Babosa! Did you see that thing?” he said with increasing excitement, “I don’t know what you did to piss that thing off, but I’m sure that the blow I just gave him only pissed him off. I can sense his presence below and he’s moving fast in our direction. Let’s take to the sky.” With that, Goku launched from the water and began to scan the water; waiting for the animal to resurface. Babosa watched in surprise as the approaching being slammed into the serpent's jaw, causing it to spiral painfully into the depths. Just as quickly as it attacked the serpent, the being swam to the surface. Following it, Babosa got up in time to see the being turn to him. Furthering his surprise, it was none other than Goku Jr, the young half Saiyan he had met not long ago (in a rather peculiar manner). “Babosa! Did you see that thing?” he said with increasing excitement, “I don’t know what you did to piss that thing off, but I’m sure that the blow I just gave him only pissed him off. I can sense his presence below and he’s moving fast in our direction. Let’s take to the sky.” As he followed the boy into the air, Babosa clutched his head in pain. Not from the destruction of the boat or being pushed underwater by the serpent, but the painful headache he still had from the drink. "Ssshhh, don't shout. My head's killing me" Babosa told the boy, despite the Saiyan not being that loud. With his focus more on talking to his new friend, the Namekian warrior neglected to look out for the devilish sea monster. Rising out of the water once more, this time in an arched jump instead of a straight jump into the sky, its jaws gaping. While the creature wasn't fast enough to catch either of its targets, it had trick up its nonexistent sleeve. Giving a deep, bellowing roar that was set at a natural frequency meant to paralyze prey, the serpent was able to keep the two in place long enough to swallow the two up in one enormous gulp. With its prey now inside its body, the serpent swam to the bottom of the lake, sure that what it had finished off the Saiyan and Namekian. The two companions rapidly slipped down the aquatic terror’s throat. Goku trailed Babosa down the slimy slope passing by the pulsating tissue of its esophagus. The two finally came to an abrupt stop after what seemed like forever. Juniors barreling body completely swamped his green friend then rolled past him. The little hero came to rest, head first, in a pile of oozy sticky stomach fluid. Junior rolled out of the muck and into a sitting position. His little arms crossed together in front of his chest and his mind immediately went into thinking mode. “Hmm,” he said raising one of his hands to his chin, “I wasn’t expecting this to happen. What a stomach!” Goku looked up and all around the gooey cavity. He looked to Babosa who was holding his head and swaying back and forth. It seemed as if being in the belly of a sea serpent was the least of his worries at the moment. The half sized saiyan stood to his feet and attempted to shake off what little bit of goo that he could. He then approached Babosa and looked up at him. “Well, what do you suggest that we do to get out of here?” Goku asked, but he didn’t receive an answer. The boy simply shrugged his shoulders and began to walk around the throbbing organ. The young fighter’s hands interlocked behind his jet black hair. He was relaxed and calm; it was just as he always was. Nothing could break his boyish spirit and nothing was going to eat him, at least not today. Goku gave a look to the front of the serpent, where he entered, then gave a look to the back of it. He was definitely sure that he didn’t want to exit through the back, but if he went back to the mouth he would risk being pierced by the demon’s sharp fangs. Then it hit him, “We’ll bust out of this joint Babosa,” He screamed aloud, causing an echo throughout the reptile’s organs. “Could you keep it down,” snarled the hung over Namek, “I don’t care what you do, just be quiet.” Goku raised his eyebrows and drew back for a moment, “Okay, sheesh! It’s not like I’m trying to save us from being digested here.” Clenching his fist beside his hips, Goku began to power up. His ki flared up around him; white at first then turning to a deep blue. A belly shaking scream exited from his gullet followed by more and more energy emitting from the kid. Kakarot Junior pushed with his legs as hard as he could then blasted upward toward the beast’s back. He extended one arm above his head and reserved the other beside his chest. His reaching fist connected with the slimy intestinal walls and began to push. Slowly he began to make progress, but it was tough. The serpent’s skin would stretch and then contract. It was apparent that the monster was fighting back and trying to tightened its muscle to ward off the exodus. From the outside the creature was paused in mid-swim with a giant bulge on top of its rigid back. The ferocious being hissed and growled in pain and jerked its body ravenously back and forth. Back in the stomach, Goku had penetrated the inner tissues, but when he got to the underside of the scales he was at a stalemate. The struggling boy quickly turned to Babosa who was still clutching his pounding head. “Babosa! Hey! How about a little help here,” yelled the saiyan boy as he continued to give everything he had in him. He could feel that there exit was nigh, but he just needed a little extra umph. WC: 619 |

“Babosa! Hey! How about a little help here,” yelled the saiyan boy as he continued to give everything he had in him. Goku was determined to get out of the serpent no matter what, which is more than could be said for Babosa. The mean green grunted, covering his ears to drown out his friend's voice. He didn't want to talk right now. He didn't want to do anything but get his head to stop aching. "I don't have time to play games with you. My head hurts right now. I think I'll lie down" Babosa replied, looking for a spot that wasn't covered in digestive juices, which was a spot that did not exist. The sea serpent was starting to learn how to fight Goku's attempt at freedom better, by pushing its back into the ground at the bottom of the lake. The water pressure and firm ground helped give it resistance. Thinking quickly to find some way to get Babosa to help him escape, lest the two remain stuck in the serpent's stomach and get digested, an idea struck Goku. "If you don't help me out of here, I won't stop screaming!" Junior shouted, making sure he was loud enough to annoy Babosa. Cringing at the boy's voice, Babosa angrily pleaded "No, don't, I hate that" Goku grinned, knowing he had Babosa caught in his trap. Taking in a deep breath, Goku let out a great yell. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!". Babosa's eyes shut tight in frustration, trying to ignore Goku's yelling, but found it impossible to ignore the strength of the boy's lungs. Peeking up, Babosa growled. "Fine, if you want my help, you'll get it!". Covering himself in a white aura, and just as Goku's turned blue, Babosa's turned purple. Shooting up with his hands forwards, claws bared to pierce the wall of body tissue, right next to Goku. The serpent felt the increase of pressure against its back, causing its eyes to widen in pain and fear as it could feel the tissue tearing. With Babosa's strength added on to Goku's, the two were able to form a large hole in the serpent's back as they shot out of it, freeing themselves from the fleshy prison. The two quickly swam to the surface, ridding themselves of the serpent and the lake as they flew over it. "Man, that was so cool! That was a great adventure!" Goku laughed as he shook the water (and any other lingering liquids) out of his hair. Babosa gave Goku an irritated look before sighing and turning around. "I need a real vacation". Goku watched in confusion as Babosa floated off to find a better relaxation activity. Word Count: 444 Babosa's World Count: 2161 Combined Word Count: 3702 Complete |
