Koopah looked down the dark street that lie in-front of him. He had never stepped foot on this street, although he had seen it many times while playing the fenced in yard of the orphanage. It was a strange to be on the other side of the fence for koopah, all ten years of his life he had never left the orphanage. Always sitting and watching the busy street filled with people who seemed to always have somewhere to be in a hurry. But here in the dead of night it was a completely different story. No business man were to be found, not even a single car on the street. At least not from what Koopah could see, due to the city being almost vacant from all moon light due to the towering high-rises looming on each side of the street.

A swift wind swept threw the city making Koopah's hair stand on end. Making him start to second guess his decision of leaving the orphanage the only place he had ever called home. Then he recalled how all the kids made fun of him and picked on him, even the orphanage workers that he had once looked up treated him like a freak. There was no way to go back he knew he had a greater purpose than to sit around and wait for some family to adopt him. There was no way that was ever going to happen especially, after hearing about his freak strength, and the way he put several of the other orphanage kids lives in danger in a simple game of soccer.
"No, this is the only way." Koopah thought to himself. He took one big inhale of the midnight air and started his journey out into a unknown world, alone and what some people would call a helpless child.

As Koopah walked down the street he heard shrieks, creaks, and moans throughout the numerous alleyways that were adjacent to the street. A big lump swelled in his throat making it hard for him to swallow. He turned back once more to look at the big sign in the distance now "East city's Orphanage." He looked down at the ground out a long sigh. Turned around and continued walking. "This is the only way." He thought to himself.

He walked along the empty darkness filled street until he came to a crossing. "Hmmm Harrington street this way, or do i keep walking on Luck Ave." Koopah thought to himself. "Harry!" Koopah thought to himself. "Maybe there are alot of dogs like harry on Harrington street!" Recalling the orphanage dog that he played with nearly every day. So he turned down Harrington street and continued his journey.

Nearly thirty paces into Harrington street Koopah began to notice the scenery changed drastically. No more business or fast food restaurants, but residential houses. He started to pass more streets more often. But he decided to keep his path down Harrington, because none of them seemed as appealing to him and finding more dogs like harry.

As Koopah walked down the nearly vacant street until he heard voices in the distance. He quickly scurried behind a couple of trash cans and studied from a far. He strained his ears to pick up the conversation but it was with no avail. He was close enough where he could visually see them, than make our the actual conversation. "Gah these trash cans are stinky!!!." Koopah said as he pinched his nostrils closed and took a step back. "WOOOAAAAAAA" he screamed as the step back he took landed directly on a banana peel.

Koopah slowly stood rubbing his sore butt. He could hear the group of people now! it seemed as if they were getting closer! "Yo man what was that shit?" he heard one of the people in the approaching group say. "Uh oh" Koopah said as he slumped behind the trash cans contemplating on what he should do. As he heard them almost directly behind the cans he was hiding behind.

Koopah pops out from behind the trash cans raises his hand and says "Hi!! my names Koopah!" with a big grin on his face. The group of guys came to a screeching halt and almost all said at the exact same time "What the fuck!!!, what is a little ass kid doing on the streets this time at night??" Only one thing came to Koopah mind at that moment and that was "Ummm looking for dogs like harry?" Koopah said and explained how harrington street reminded him of his puppy and he hoped to find more on this street.

"Look little kid the only dogs on this street are US!" one of the guys said in the group. "Thats funny you dont look like a doggie." Koopah said scratching his head as a puzzled look swept across his face. "Kid do you have any idea who your talking to?" one of the biggest guys in the group said. "Ummmm a guy who wants to be a doggie?" Koopah replied calmly. "Awww hell nah this kid is straight dissin you frank" on of the other guys said to the guy talking to koopah.

"Look kid you got about 10 seconds to get off our block before i kick you ass all the way back to your mothers" the guy now known as frank told Koopah.

Hearing the threat from the much older man startled Koopah. He had never been talked to so harshly in his life. He wasn't very old but he knew what cuss words were and that man was defiantly using them. "Ummm i don't think you are supposed to use those kind of words sir, those are bad words and people get punished for using them." Koopah said, recalling what the grownups that worked in his orphanage told the other little kids. "OHHH YEA?!?!?!?!, and whos gonna punish me kid, YOU?!" the old burly thug said as he inched towards Koopah. The young saiyan instantly seen that he was in trouble. He took a few steps backwards and then slipped on the same banana peel that had gotten him into this mess. On his butt he was slowing crawling backwards while the group was slowly enclosing in on him. "Ummm no im not i mean someone would, but not me no sir not me!" Koopah said in a panic frenzy, while trying to scoot away on his butt backwards.

His scooting came to an abrupt halt as he felt something at his back. He slowly looked over his shoulder and up at the towering thug. One of the guys friends had managed to sneak behind him. The last thing Koopah remembers seeing is the swing of something shaped like what he thought was a barbarians club that he had watched on tv.

Koopah was riding on the back of a giant bird like creature with beautiful feathers, that were colored all colors of the rainbow. Him and was giant bird were riding openly threw a giant meadow full of budding flowers. "Ahahaha" Koopah laughed cheerfully as he rode on top of the giant bird free spirited. He was enjoying the ride so much he decided to stand up completely and ride with no hands. It seemed as if he balance was never slipping and he was able to stand on top of the bird, even while the bird sprinted in full speed.
All the sudden the bird came to a screeching halt, and Koopahs once never ending balance had faded. He went flying head over heals off of the Giant bird, and somehow was heading for a pool of deep dark water. That he had somehow not managed to see until this very moment. He went head first into the water.

Koopahs eyes slowly opened. "Ughhhh where am i?" He said as he slowly regained his surroundings. He was laid out on a very hard surface looking straight up into the night. It was hard to keep his eyes open he now noticed it was raining very heavily and the raindrops seemed to be filled with little needles that pierced his eyes between every blink. He slowly sat up and then it all hit him at one time, almost like the blow from the thug he had crossed paths with. He remembered this familiar place it was behind the trash cans. That he was hiding behind..."So that was just a dream? Awwww man" Koopah said slowly standing while the heavy raindrops fell upon the sleeping city. It seemed to Koopah that all the rain drops were hitting the exact same spot in his head. The lump that the club had made upon his head throbbed with pain.

There Koopah stood in the heavy falling rain, wondering how people in this world could be so cruel. He was not expecting such a hostile interaction with the group of people, this was his first interaction with people outside of the orphanage and needless to say it was not a good one. He stared down the street gazing at the house he recalled seeing the group of thugs at. Filled with anger and drivin by his temper he marched towards the house, without a plan of what he was going to do.

As he got closer to the house he heard the familiar voice of the thug he was having a conversation with before he got hit on the head. A little of his courage drained as he heard this and instantly dropped to the ground on his stomach, but something was was driving him to push forward. At this time he was on the side of the house listening to the loud talk of the group of men coming from the inside of the house. He looked up from his hands and knees and saw a window that shone a light cutting throw the nights darkness and heavy rainfall. He slowly rose to his knees and peeked inside. There he saw the group of men that he had ran into earlier all sitting around and drinking some liquid from some dark bottles. Koopah being only 10 had no idea what was in the bottles so he paid it no mind. Instead his adolescent mind began to churn with ideas of some kind of payback. His simple mind could only come up with one thing.

"Man who tha hell would be knocking on yo door at this time of night?" one of the men asked the owner of the house. "Man i have no idea go check im too throwed to even walk man." the other thug replied. "Man yall lazy ass niggas dont wanna do ever do shit." One of the men said making his way to the door in a drunken stumble.

Koopah quickly darted to the side of the porch after knocking on the door, and hid patiently waiting on his next move, which he didn't even know what it was at this point. He watched the door slowly open as the big guy walked outside onto the porch curiously looking from side to side. "I dont see shit out here yo," the man yelled back to the other two guys inside the house." There was no reply from either of the two men inside the house his yell was not heard over the thud of the ever falling rain on top of the old house. Koopah watched anxiously at the man hoping he would walk to the end of the porch that he was near on the side of the house. His hopes were soon fading as he saw the man walk to the center of the porch and turn around and start making his way back towards the door. Koopah felt a sense of urgency and did the only thing that came to mind at that moment.

Koopah barked like a little puppy "Wooof woof," he yelped trying to mimic a young dog. After the brief bark he peaked over and noticed the young thug walking his way now with a puzzled look on his face. "This is my chance," Koopah thought to himself as he crouched back into the darkness and rain. He patiently waited as he heard the heavy feet of the thug drunk-idly stomp across the porch. On his hands and knees he heard the foot steps stop. He gazed up at the porch and saw the mans brightly colored sneakers at the edge of the porch just in his short arms reach.

He took a deep breath and reached up as quickly as he could grabbing a hold of the mans thick ankle with both of his hand. When he felt he had a good grasp he pulled with all his might. He watched in astonishment of how easy the thug had fallen it seemed as if his balance was way off. "It must be that stuff they are drinking," Koopah thought to himself. then he realized he had no time to spare he quickly hopped up on the porch staring down at the fallen man whose eyes were closed from the wincing pain. Koopah stared at his face until the thug opened his eyes. Their eyes met and Koopah could tell from the expression on his face the thug was completely surprised to see that the pint sized warrior had taken him down so easily. The thug opened his mouth and formed his lips as if he was about to say something. Koopah reacted not giving the fallen thug any time to alert the others in the house. He quickly dropped his elbow directly in the abdomen of the thug pushing the wind from his body. The thug instantly opened his mouth gasping for air but seeming to find none. Koopah looked down in amusement watching the man struggle to breath. "What goes around comes around buster!" said just above a whisper so the other men inside wouldn't hear him.

Koopah then decided what to do from there he wad rendered his opponent unable to react. He had fulfilled what he came here to do he looked down once more at the grown man gasping for air. His eyes were filled with pain and despair, as much satisfaction as he got from harming the being that knocked him unconscious earlier that night he could not find it in his hard to do the same. He turned his gaze away from his fallen victim into the dark rain that was falling all around him. He had decided he had done enough damage. As he darted off down Harrington Street. Koopah had experienced his first taste of revenge. It left behind a feeling of Triumph, but it also left a feeling of reluctance. As good as he felt about hurting the man who had hurt him he felt something was not right about it. Questions filled his ten year old head as he made his journey into the unknown
