A light yawn came from the mouth of the half breed Saiyan, as he stared out at the land before him. Namek was just a bit of a boring planet to him, though he would never comment this to the aliens. At the moment he was sitting at the captain's seat of his new ship, one created by the beings on the planet its self. Interesting creatures, these Namekians, in that they were making such ships. The half breed was thinking about the time that he had spent trying to save these Namekians and the elder that had allowed him to reach a new state of power, and come to grips about what he was. His eye lids would open halfway for a moment as he looked down at the radar screen that was on his ship, and then looked with his full opened ebony eyes and saw that there was something the size of a Namekian slowly making its way to the ship. A sigh slipped the lips of Akina as he would stand up and walk over to the area where the ship would allow him to go own to meet this person. He spoke on word.

"Piccolo."

The ship would allow him to leave the ship as he thought that this was a strange password to get the ship to go down towards the ground. His gaze would shift over as he saw a Namekian that had tried to sneak up on him. The alien would chuckle lightly and then would speak in Akina's language.

"So, you are a pupil of Guru's...interesting and noted. I have a proposition for you, sir, and it should interest you. Here is a list; it is the most wanted list for Namek."

Akina would take the list from the four fingered being and look down at it. Somewhat sloppily written in his language, but it was well enough that Akina could make out the names.

Looking through the names, Akina wondered what he was supposed to do with this, then he saw the number one and the male looking alien would speak as he stared at it for a moment when he seemed to point at the letter like paper.

"That top Namekian is your target. He has tried several times to slaughter Guru and his bodyguards. But he's been pretty unsuccessful and weaker then we'd like to admit. Still, we'd rather have an outsider kill him or capture him. I'll return in four days time to see if you've got him. If so, then I will pay you a heavy amount."

Saying little for a moment, Akina would fold up the paper silently, since he knew that it was for him. Slipping it into a pocket, having already memorized the name, the half breed Saiyan would turn ebony eyes to the Namekian.

"I will find this person, then."

Turning, the male would speak once more to close the ship with the word Piccolo once he was back on board. He watched, after getting to the ship, that the other was sneaking off. Shaking his head once more, then typed in a few coordinateness. He would then speak the Namekian language once more- these were things that the seller had told him to do.

"Dorigelop crafca."

The ship would pull its self off the ground and then fly at speeds that Akina could not travel, though he was already walking towards the exit. Compared to space travel, this only took seconds. There would be a sudden halt, and Akina would then speak Piccolo once more before he would step out to the village that he protected, and where he learned his Awakening. Ebony eyes scanned those that look at him as he head slowly towards the elder's house, nodding to the Namekians as he passed.

He would reach the house and he would smile as the elder was in the house, taking some tea. The half breed would enter and sit down in a seiza, a position where one would bend their legs so that the biceps and semitendinosus muscles would meet the gastrocnemius muscles. The feet would press to the floor, the toes stretched. The male's arms and hands would settle on top of his legs and the Namekian would chuckle at his guardian's sitting postion. Touring tea a moment later, he would raise his and take a sip, after blowing on it, and then ask Akina a question.

"So, what have you come into the village for, Akina?"

Knowing that this was coming, the half breed would continue to sip on his tea for a minute. It was a tough thing to say- he wanted to slaughter the person that had done these terrible crimes, but he had promised not to kill any of those on Namek. The old man could sense it, and would place his cup down when Akina did, speaking carefully.

"I have taken up a contract to hunt down a Namekian. One that seems to have attempted to come in and slaughter Guru Sensei and his bodyguards. That is unforgivable, because Guru Sensei is, of course, my teacher, Biolin jiji. I want to hurt him, to even kill him. It's what my android side says, but that's not what the Saiyan side, nor my side, wants. I must know, with that knowledge, if you will still help me find this Namekian."

The old man would let a sigh slide easily through those withered lips. He knew that it would come to this one day: Akina would have the choice to kill or not. But it was a good sign that he was showing a resistance to it. The old Namekian would seem to be considering his answer to Akina's question, who stayed in that seiza with amazing patience.

The elderly Namekian would give a low sigh as he knew what Akina wanted of him. He was in silence for a time, looking at the young man that was there. He well understood Akina and the half breed's feelings and the reasons behind killing this man were sound enough. Still, another sigh easily slid from the old Namekian's lips as he replied, turning towards the entrance to the building.

"I understand you, Akina. The why and the how you'll do it. I know that you also fear disappointing me, by killing unnecessarily. This person has attempted to harm the most harmless of Namekians, who requires a guard. That this Namekian would do that is disgusting. But you must not kill him, because that would end it too quickly for some. Prolonged suffering, one may say."

There was a pause as Akina would look to the ground with the ebony ground. Was he really so easy to read? Yes, he guessed that the emotions had been on his face. In the pause, Akina would sip on what remained of his tea as his thoughts raced. Should he have done that? Perhaps he had made an error in asking the old man to help him. Then the green alien continued.

"But prolonged suffering is not something that the Grand Elder enjoys or endorses. Thus, you either slay this Namekian and disappoint me, potentiality, or you disappoint your master. Which one should you not disappoint more, Akina? In either case, I believe that I will help you with information."

Akina would look up in surprise and then brought the list up as he would read off the name to the elder, who would place his hands into a fold over his chest. He did know this Namekian, though he'd only heard of him in passing. Well, he was sure that his fellow villagers' knew something.

Akina would be surprised by the news that the elder told him, and was told to wait in the hut. A nod of the head, and Akina would return to his disciplined sitting in the seiza position. Closing his eyes, Akina would silently meditate as the half breed waited. His mind went blank as it had when he was training to Awaken his hidden power. He wanted to clear his mind and would draw and release breath slowly as the waiting began. He knew that it could take a good ten minutes to half an hour to extract any good information from these Namekians by their elder for the sake of Akina. It was a sacrifice that Akina sometimes cursed, knowing it must be hard on the elder.

The old Namekian would return within the ten to thirty minute time slot and looked at the young man before him with a chuckle, which would bring the half breed back into reality. Standing up, Akina would crack his neck real quick so that he could get any kinks out. The half breed would then speak to the old man Namekian with a hopeful tone.

"Did you find out anything about the Namekian?"

The elder would nod his head yes and placed his hands behind his body- Akina knew that sign already, one that meant that a condition would have to be met so that he could obtain this information. The elder seemed to see the flash of such a recognition and would speak with seriousness in his tone.

"Akina, you must swear to kill the Namekian in order to obtain this information. That is what the Namekian said to me. He awaits you outside, or should you choose, then you shall hear it within the confines of my home. You have five minutes to decide."

The half breed Saiyan couldn't believe it. Were these Namekians rebelling against their very elder? Anger swelled within Akina, but he would force himself to be calmed down by looking at the water of the old man's tea, which was cold now. Despite that, the old man would proceed to pick up the cup. Akina badly needed this information, so he would at least make it less painful for the man. He spoke within a minute as he seemed to struggle a bit with the thought.

"I will hear what he has to say outside, then. I can't sully your home further with ideals that don't belong to you with my own thoughts."

Walking to the outside of the door, Akina knew that the old man was not cursing his name, but neither was he praising. The half breed Saiyan was stuck between disappointing Guru sensei and Biolin san, and the one that Akina had to disappoint had been the one to help him the most during this time on Namek. It was not a fun thought for the proud warrior, but what other choice did he have? Looking over at the Namekian that had made that deal with Biolin, I had only discust in my gray matter as the Namekian spoke.

"Then you agree to killing the Namekian bastard?"

"Of course."

The reply was dry as a desert on its most bone dry of days. The Namekian seemed a bit discouraged by this, but there was no he would not back down as he would speak with a bit more confidence, a small smile on his face. It bugged the half breed, but he would endure the annoyance to get the information over with. And he would never again enter the village, either, as this was a violation of his unsaid pact between himself and Biolin.

The Namekian would speak after a moment of silence, which was brought on by the green alien's own stunned silence. Perhaps he'd thought Akina would be overjoyed at the prospect of catching this person? What a foolish thought. The Saiyan half breed was violating something sacred between Biolin and himself to do this, and that would never make this okay.

"The Namekian you speak was from this very village. Not Biolin's own hatchling, but he raised him since the father had died in a battle. He lies to the north at the moment, occupying an archipelago, one that he can see anyone coming from for miles. There won't be any sneak attacks, since he's weary of everyoe; always was and has continued to be. Kill him, Akina, because he killed a few of his own clansmen, brothers. You don't know what-"

"I know what it's like to be killed by one's father, Namekian. Thank you for the information. Inform Biolin that I will no longer return."

Turning around, the tone he had used continued to taste sour in his mouth, as though he'd plainly and purposefully bitten into a lemon with cuts in his mouth. His stride would carry him out of the village and to his ship, which he would command to open before getting in and then striking a few buttons, then spoke the two words to make the ship fly. He would land within fifty feet of the targeted area and start his search there. If the Namekian was paranoid enough to be using that type of land, then that must meant, in Akina's experience, that the green alien was harboring a wound.

The ship would land not too far from an archipelago. Hopefully he was close enough that not much flying had to be done. Akina felt a little better fighting on the ground then fighting in the air, since it was harder dodging his attacks on the ground, especially when grappling.

It came down to this match up, then. All the spars in his life, all the battles and his struggles. Up to a real run for his life, a real battle of sorts. Koga and his match could not be considered a battle, since that had been a routing of Koga, as if he' simply given up hope. A shake of the head later to make the thought go away, Akina would throw a glance to left to see that an energy blast was coming his way. A "woah" came from his lips as he would throw his arm out and fire back, the dark blue blast connecting with the incoming crimson wave. Both beams would slam against each other, and Akina would leap to the side, allowing his beam to be sent back, luckily not hitting his ship.

Growling, the half breed would launch into the air and then fly straight towards the source of the blast. His eyes scanned and he saw that there was indeed an injured Namekian, who was howling in rage that his blast had not worked. Akina, not wanting to lose the Namekian, would not use his Energy Dan, instead firing off a mouth blast at the Namekian. How strange that he stood there, but then he was gone- Speed Teleport. But that was fine since Akina would blast forward and threw his leg out, catching the Namekian in the jaw and sending him spiraling down towards the ground. It was a predictable path, and Akina would simply shake his head at that.

The Namekian would slam onto the ground with a roar of pain. So it was his left side or left arm that pained him. Akina would land as he tapped the scouter to see the being's power level. How odd, he found it...this Namekian was only around four thousand in power level. Why was he even attempting to slay Guru Sensei? Oh well, questions were for later.

"So, you are the one that terrorizes the people and has attempted the assassiate Guru Sensei. I have to wonder why you do it, Namekia. But that isn't talk for now. I'll battle you to the death, here and now. No running away. You got that?"

Narrowed eyes, the half breed would place his arm out at the coughing Namekian warrior and mercilessly fired off ki missiles, regretting that he was doing so. But he had to keep his vow, his very pride demanded it. The blasts connected and would send the Namekian flying back and a howl of pain erupted from the green alien's mouth. Truly, wasn't he supposed to be a terror? Shaking his head, Akina heard a move called out- Taiyoken!

But he had not looked, instead he was looking at the ground, stunned. When he looked up, the Namekian looked surprised and then scared as he stared to back up. What was this ability supposed to do, Akina asked himself. Oh well, that could also wait for later. The battered Namekian was all the mattered and he was about to get his ass beat into several places that it shouldn't be. Cracking his knuckles, Akina advanced as the other seemed to be disbelieving his bad luck.

The half breed would then disapate from sight for a moment before he kicked his opponent to the side and placed an arm back, energy crackling into his hand for a moment before he fired off an energy blast, in beam form. The blue beam landed on the Namekian, causing more pain, no doubt. He would end this with the next few blows. There was no need to make this poor fool suffer any longer then he already was. Akina just hoped that even after he killed the man, that the Grand Elder would forgive him.

A few paces brought him closer to the fallen Namekian, who was groaning from pain. Akina's footfalls might not have reached those ears, or was he giving up? Akina would, in any case, stay out of range of dirt being thrown at him. He'd seen the trick before. But that wasn't the case. In fact, the Nakemian was out cold. A low sigh slid from his mouth before his hand was placed out and grabbed the green alien by the neck, suddenly slamming him down and kneeing the neck so that it would break. And for good measure, Akina would jump back and allow energy to crackle in his hand again before launching blast after blast with the Energy Dan, creating smoke all around the area. Afterwards he was panting, but felt satisfied.

He knew it was a bad thing to feel that way, but that was how it was. Then he saw the man from earlier appear, just coming into sight as he leaned down towards the fading body. Waving a hand over it, the appearance would waver a moment and then become solid again. Akina raised an eyebrow, but the man spoke before a question was launched by the half breed.

"He was a danger to all Namekians, but we found that he couldn’t handle himself when he would meet strangers. Against Namekians, he had no problems fighting them, because many of us share a similar style of fighting. However, those from other areas of space have always confounded him. As such, I believed that you could learn a lesson while your weaker- not everyone has the choice between capture and kill, even those that aspire to be the good guys."

Akina knew that he was right, and simply turned away with a heavy burden on his shoulders, the weight of a promise broken and an old man’s disappointment. One who acted fatherly to him on this strange planet.
