The Sun was scorching the island, as if it were a palpable gaze of contempt. With the lack of major cloud cover, master Roshi's island could become unbearably hot. Particularly for one whose home planet averages temperatures near zero degrees farenheit. However, despite his discomfort, Blizzard would show no weakness. It was this ideal that had kept him going, and it had twisted him into a wicked and vengeful creature. Standing near Roshi's house, Blizzard stood and stared out across the sea. He focused his energy into his solar plexus, inhaling it into his lungs. Suddenly he let out a mighty shout, waves of invisible ki distorted the air around him. This was the kiai technique Roshi had taught him during the last few days. despite the old fool's childish behavior he possessed a few tricks which Blizzard found valuable enough to put up with him. "Woah! Hey man, watch out with whatever the hell that was. you almost killed me!" Blizzard look up in the direction the whining voice had come from. A scrawny fellow with a moustache and slicked-back, black hair was sitting on a small flying machine about ten feet up. "first of all, it is a defensive technique. secondly who are you and why are you here?" Blizzard spat with a menacing tone, bending his arm at the elbow and pointing his index finger calmly at the man's head. "I am Tsurugu Katamura. I come with a business proposition for you, Blizzard." The changeling was slightly taken aback by this. "How do you know my name human? Tell me, are you one of Frieza's spies?" A bright red glow emanated from Blizzard's finger, and suddenly a streak of red light passed from the tip of his finger and through the mans shoulder in the blink of an eye. Tsurugu let out a cry of agony and gripped his shoulder tightly. "Listen, don't kill me, man! I work for the galactic crime conglomerate, surely you have heard of us? We know who everybody is, even you!" "Fine, well I guess I will listen to your proposition. Next time, you will announce your arrival and your intention's before flashing my name. A pathetic creature like you shall only address me as Lord Blizzard. Do you understand?" Blizzard said coldly, pointing his index finger yet again, this time at the man's head. "Yes, lord Blizzard." Tsurugu said, trembling. "My master, the Don of Earth, has deemed that you are the best candidate for this task, so you get first pick. Donat Hausim is a human living in north city. He is the apprentice of Kami, next in line to become guardian of Earth. My master wants to make sure that the guardian is someone old and feeble, perhaps someone we can eventually control. That way we can place our own supplicant guardian in when the geezer dies, heh." He chuckled nervously. Blizzard already knew what was intended "so you want me to kill this Donat Hausim. And I will be paid?" Tsurugu nodded, "yes you will, I can't give you the sum now. but you will like it I'm sure." Tsurugu said. "Ok, so let's say I'm interested. What is the real reason you came to me? Why not just go into his house and shoot him?" Blizzard said, prodding the man in the chest with his deadly index finger. "Well, see, this isn't the first time we have tried to kill the guy. The first time we sent one guy and he got whacked by the target. Last time we sent four guys, trouble is this Donat got smart, got himself a retinue. He is heavily guarded, never leaves his large estate. has it locked up tight. But we heard that a changeling was on Earth and figured you might not get yourself killed." Blizzard looked out across the water again. "Heavily guarded... excellent." "Oh so you'll take it? excellent man, just take his ID card to the #33 warehouse in North City when it's done!" as the Sun began to fade into purple and orange light, a bright flash of red light cut across the horizon. straight through Tsurugu Katamura's head. wc(694) |

The wind rushed across Blizzard's armored plates. as he soared toward North City, the changeling warrior destroyed boulder's, kicked in sides of mountains, and smashed his way through trees. "This planet is great fun. It will feel good to kill some more challenging opponents." He thought to himself, almost giggling at the thought of cruelty to come. The Sun was beginning to set, and the lights on the horizon could only be North City. Blizzard had to find out where Donat lived before he could dispose of him. That was one unfortunate consequence to the fun of killing that Conglomerate messenger. Blizzard laughed, he had already forgotten the name of that insignificant creature. This planet had some strong warriors, but they were few and far between. The rest were ignorant weaklings, and that made them fun playthings. As Blizzard descended down into the city he scanned it for large, fenced or walled in residences. He immediately noticed five properties which all looked to be well secured with perimeter lights and razor fence. The first idea that crossed his mind was too simply destroy all five of these places, one by one, until he found his target. That sounded like fun, but it might be time consuming. He decided that it may help to just ask someone, surely no earthling would be foolish enough to deny him his query. Toren was walking home from his second job, Cutting bacon at a local meat processing plant. The stars were shining faintly through the orange haze of light pollution emanating off of the city. He often walked home alone, looking up at the sky. It had been several years since he had moved to the city from the small mountain town he grew up in, but he still didn't quite feel adjusted to the hustle of city life. Often, he longed for the simplicity of his old life. But, he would always shake the thoughts from his head. It would be too embarrassing to return home a failure. suddenly, Toren's daydream was cut short as a dark shape sped close-by overhead. Blizzard descend in front of the stunned earthling and shook his head. "You would be wise to bow in the presence of a Changeling, filth!" Toren dropped to his knees, shaking with fear. "Please sir, don't hurt me. I will give you whatever you want, just let me go home." He whined. "You will address me as your lord, the mighty Blizzard and you will answer my question! Do you understand, coward?" The changeling said slowly. Toren couldn't believe what was happening. This crazy monster was asking him for street directions to the Guardian's Dojo. "You not from around here, uh, Lord Blizzard?" Blizzard wiped the blood from his hands onto the jacket of the corpse before him. With a final glance at the gaping hole in the human's chest, He flew into the sky, heading towards the location of Donat Hausim. wc(491) |

"This is Rorshe, east perimeter secure." Stated a buzzing voice through the microphone. Victor was tense, despite how quiet it had been. He felt as if something dark loomed close, perhaps he was just being paranoid but his intuitions had proved right before. "Victor, you sense it as well. Something terrible is coming for us. We must be ready." Donat gripped his friend's shoulder reassuringly. He only hoped that the power level he felt coming towards them was already at its maximum. Rorshe sat on a bench in the courtyard, smoking a cigarette. He didn't notice the small horned creature as it descended behind him. There was a light squeak as the creature set foot on the cobbled path. Rorshe looked around, seeking the source of the noise. As he turned his head around, a heavy fist slammed the hapless guard's skull in. "Rorshe, come in." With a groan, Victor dropped the microphone onto the table. "Heinrich, Nigel. Check out the east perimeter. Rorshe hasn't reported in, be careful." Heinrich pulled his 9mm from it's holster. "Come on Nigel, we gotta go do Rorshe's job again." He said, smirking. "Most likely fell asleep somewhere, useless oaf" The two headed towards the eastern courtyard, checking for intruders (and sleeping guards). As they walked up the cobble path, they were met with a gruesome sight. Rorshe lay on the ground, blood pooling around his lifeless body. His head was caved in. Brain, cartilage and bone shards lay strewn across the ground. "Jesus, Victor! Rorshe is dead, somebody crushed his skull real good!" Nigel was practically screaming into his walkie-talkie at this point. "Calm down, listen just make your way back here and we will seal up the interior!" "Alright, alright... We are heading back now. J-just be ready to shut the door behind us" Nigel turned to Heinrich, his face turning pale. As the two ran through the courtyard toward the east entrance, Blizzard stood atop a pagoda just above them. He aimed his index fingers at the two running earthling's backs. As Nigel slid the door open, a flash of red energy ripped through his chest, tearing a gaping hole that ran red with dark arterial blood. He collapsed to his knees, Heinrich looking on in shock. Suddenly, a white and pink blur appeared next to him and slammed a devastating knee into his head. The strike killed him instantly, sending him flying across the courtyard and smashing through a tree. Blizzard looked across the destruction he had caused, only hoping there were at least a few more weaklings to crush before it was all done. The Changeling spread his legs and braced himself, then let out a yell as he erupted in red ki. He allowed his power to rush to its full strength, if this fool was going to be a guardian then surely he would sense that. wc(481) |

Donat almost collapsed, he gripped the table to support himself. The jump in power that he had just felt was the thing he had feared most. This warrior was definitely powerful enough to overcome both of them. Worst of all, Donat sensed that this monster who was attacking them wasn't even done yet. He sensed a strange malleability in the ki signature of the assailant, and it worried him. Blizzard rushed down the halls of the facility, heading towards the center of the complex. As he flew, Victor watched him on the closed circuit monitor. "That thing is pretty small, but it is obvious that it is very powerful. I better be on my guard." Victor turned to Donat. "Head up to the safe room. I am locking down the facility. don't worry, I will take care of this creature." There was a loud beeping sound as pneumatic doors began sealing the hallways off end to end. Blizzard stopped for a moment to inspect these barricades. They were each a foot and a half thick steel. "Hahaha, you fools think this will even slow me down!?" As he screamed, he kicked the barrier in front of him. The force broke the steel door in two. "Damn it! Look at that, he is ripping through them like paper! Shit, I really have my work cut out for me!" Victor was beginning to panic, he knew the creature was strong, but he never imagined it would be this powerful. "Hopefully these explosive charges will work on it." Blizzard came to a room which looked promising. The doors were much bigger and appeared to be thicker than the other barricades. Surely, this was the control room. He braced himself and swung a mighty blow, bending the two steel doors inwards wide enough for him to nonchalantly step through. A sudden shockwave erupted in the room, a wall of fire and debris soared towards the small figure. As the concussion blast reached Blizzard, be unleashed a mighty shout, infused with ki. The shockwaves were averted around the ki blast from Blizzard's shout and diverted from causing him any harm. As the smoke cleared, the vicious monster chuckled too himself. "You will have to do better than that! Come out and fight me coward!" Blizzard yelled out, the sound reverberating through the many hallways. Victor stepped out into the room. The blast hadn't even scathed the monster, but he would die before he let his friend be murdered by this freak. "Prepare to die you monster!" Victor screamed, and in a torrent of punch-like motions he released a volley of energy waves towards blizzard. As the smoke cleared, the monster was nowhere to be seen. Victor looked around, confused. He was about to go looking for the alien assassin when he heard a quiet whisper, "over here." Victor looked up to see the hideous glowing red eyes of the monster looking him right in the face, then suddenly he was flying through the air as a powerful kick propelled him across the room. He slammed into a row of computer monitors and quickly jumped to his feet. "Alright, I am through playing around. Defend yourself!" Victor lunged, charging his ki as he went. Simultaneously, Blizzard sped towards the human. The two collided with a force that nearly shook the building to the ground. a flurry of lightning fast blows and counters created a storm of ki inside the facility. Victor was beginning to feel relieved, the monster was only managing to keep up with him it seemed. He let loose a jab followed by a powerful haymaker. But, just as his hand was about to strike the creature's face, Blizzard vanished in a blur. Almost immediately, a thunderous knee flew into Victor's stomach from the side. The changeling assassin had moved so fast Victor hadn't even been able to see it! As the knee came into contact, the mighty alien warrior screamed, "Detonate!" Causing a vicious explosion of ki to erupt from the point of impact. The force stretched Victor's torso, pushing it to it's threshold and then tearing him in half in a spray of gore. wc(693) |

Blizzard was tired of this. He had hoped the opponents here would be powerful, at least pose a challenge. But it appeared the humans were weaklings. He decided to get things over with and began to transform. Blizzard's head began to grow, his jet black horns creaked as they stretched and curved upwards. The rest of his body quickly followed suit with a gut-wrenching shredding sound. This new monster stood, having grown from four too eight feet tall, his horns scraping across the ceiling tiles. He flexed his muscles, getting used to the new density. As he powered up his ki, the beams of the structure around him flexed and pulled. Donat shivered as he felt the power level undergo a dark metamorphosis. It increased by a third at least, and it was now pulsing with hate. "This is it, I suppose I am going to have to face this monster head on!" he said to himself aloud, his brow was dripping with sweat. Blizzard flew up and broke through the ceiling of the complex, looking over the span of the property. He tried to picture where the human could be hiding. Lucky for him, Donat was done sneaking around. The roof of the highest tower began to glow bright blue. As Blizzard noticed it, the roof suddenly exploded. A great blast of ki rocketed skyward from the shattered structure. Blizzard noticed it was not coming his way, so he looked back down at the building. down in the building, Donat was channeling the Kamehameha wave. He shifted his hands suddenly, bending the beam of energy. Outside, the blast made a ninety degree turn just as it reached the same height as Blizzard and slammed into him full force. A huge explosion of blue light erupted from the impact. The blast expanded into a fifteen foot sphere before dispersing outwards in streams of light. Donat sensed that the creature was still alive, but the blast had struck. He flew straight upward from the roof, scanning the air for his unseen foe. "Behind you!" Screamed Blizzard as he slammed two of his closed fists down, slamming into the head of the human. Donat was sent spiraling to the ground, but about twenty feet before it Blizzard appeared again, slamming his menacing horns into the gut of the human warrior. Flesh yielded to bone as one of his horns passed through the human's midsection. With a flick of his neck, Blizzard sent Donat flying off of his horn at an angle, smashing him into the earth some sixty feet away. Donat Hausim struggled to get to his feet, blood ran profusely from the gaping hole in his stomach. He coughed spasmodically and a thick mixture of blood and phlegm jettisoned out of his smashed face. Blizzard descended calmly before the crippled fighter. He crossed his arms. "Well, is that all the fight you have left?" He gloated. "You, you monster! Why are you doing this?" Wheezed the dying man. "Well, the pay is good. Plus it gives me a chance to practice. Not too mention it is damn fun." Blizzard grinned, exposing his elongated canine teeth. "Now, I believe we are through here." He rushed forward so fast he appeared to teleport the short distance between him and the man, then he slammed his index finger through the man's forehead. wc(559) total wc(2,918) |
