Prologue: The Departure... "So this is it young warrior, isn't it?!" An old, fat Namekian asked as he was holding tight to his wooden staff. He looked so wise, so experienced as he was talking to Turab while turning his back to him and gazing at moving clouds. "Do you see the clouds my son, they are like us, the can never be held put in one place... they have to keep on moving, and so do you!" He continued without even looking at Turab yet. "I have looked over you for the past eighteen years, and I know you're ready now, I can't let this place hold you any longer… you have huge capacities! Go seek knowledge, go seek strength and serve Namek well, Turab… go seek Master Guru, he'll guide you young one!" The old Namekian suggested as he was smiling. Turab looked at the village chief, his own father, and bowed in such grace and in a manner of respect. "Thank you sir, I shall not fail!" He said with such chill in his words. The lone Namekian realized that this is the beginning of the life he wanted, away from those who never understood him in the village. Being raised in a small village filled with only elders, children and few healers, there was no reason for anyone to understand the young warrior, and his aspirations and ambitions. Turab turned his back and walked away from the village, knowing that this most likely be the last time he sees the village, or his father. "This is your path my son, this is what is meant for you… explore your self, Namek… and the Universe!" The old Namekian village Chief thought as his back was turned to his departing son. No one from the village came to bid Turab farewell, for he was the village freak, never loved, always made fun of due to his silent, cold nature. He never made friends, spent his life training, meditating and protecting the village without saying a single word to his fellow village Namekians. And few minutes later, as the village started to fade away in the horizon; Turab has finally turned his back and took a final look at his birthplace. For the first time in his life he smiled for no longer this prison exists to hold him back anymore. He will set to the world, and learn all there is possible to learn all over the Universe. He smiled and with a cold shoulder he turned and continued walking with one destination in his head: old Master Guru of Namek and then… the entire Universe! One step at a time… to be continued... ____________________________________________________________________ Post WC: 443 Total Word Count: 443 |

Part One: Guru's Request! The young Namekian Warrior is at his limits as he was climbing the huge mountain where Master Guru resides. He looked down the mountain as he was nearly midway to top and smiled. He is sweating; his veins are pumped showing signs of fatigue and lack of stamina. "It has been almost ten days straight… I hope Master Guru is worth it!" Turab said to him self in a tired tone. Turab looked up, inhaled and exhaled calmly and continued climbing his way up to where Guru's mansion is. All the way up all he could think of was his ten days long walk all through Namek until he managed to find this mountain all by him self. Spending ten days with barely anything to eat or drink, and almost not a single night of sleep. He never would have thought that Master Guru resides on a top of the highest mountain on planet Namek. [ONE HOUR LATER] The young Namekian grabbed the ground of the mountaintop with the tips of his fingers and with strong will and a deep breath he gave away a good battle cry as he used the remaining physical force he's got in order to pull him self up and jump to the top. Flipping in the air once, landing on his feet perfectly, Turab managed to finally reach the destination of his desires, the place that will set him off to the Universe. Turab looked over the door, noticing two Namekian warriors, with obviously tremendous fighting power and skills. The young one approached them respectfully and gazed them in the eyes, without showing any signs of neither fear, nor hesitation. "What is it you seek young one?" One of the guardians asked in a polite, yet fearsome manner. "I seek the Master's guidance Warrior, if you may please, step aside!" Turab replied with such a serene and calm face, looking exhausted regardless. The two Namekian warriors looked at each other, and with the tip of his eyes, one of them took a close look at Turab. "Stay here young one!" That Namekian said as he went through the door. "Let Turab in, Kalka!" Guru telepathically spoke to the guardian who was on his way up to see Guru. "But master…" Kalka startled as he looked back at the door. "Yes master!" He continued. "Young one, please follow me, the master seeks you in his presence!" Kalka asked of Turab as the last followed him respectfully up the stairs to meet Guru at last, the master of all Namekians and the guardian of the entire planet and all that resides within. Turab has entered the chamber where Guru leads the entire people of Namek. It was so spiritual; the young warrior has never felt such serenity in his entire life of meditation. "Approach young one, I have a task for you to be done…" Master Guru started as he was sitting greatly there over his huge chair that seemed more like a throne. "What is it you seek of me master!?" Turab has replied gracefully as he bowed, knowing that he'll never feel such a spiritual and divine being on Namek like Guru. "I want you to go to a Namekian school… you lack knowledge, there you'll seek knowledge!" Guru said as he smiled. "And I want you to teach the small kids the ways of Namek… why do we exist, and what our purpose is! I can sense in you someone who's absorbed the greatness of ancient Namekians… to live and protect the nature and the planet!" Guru continued, shocking both Kalka and Turab. Turab nodded and bowed respectfully to Master Guru; "it shall be done Master!" The young warrior replied, agreeing on Guru's task. It won't be an easy mission for Turab to complete, as he has never interacted with others of his kind. All the talking he ever did was with a tree, or a rock, or an animal or the skies and clouds! But now, he has to learn from others, and teach others… will the young Namekian warrior be able to do so?! to be continued... ____________________________________________________________________ Post WC: 687 Total Word Count: 1130 |

Part Two: A Student's Report! Few days later after finally meeting with the Namekian guardian, old Master Guru, Cello, whom is Turab's Sensei in the School, has come to the mansion of the old man. He seemed so worried, and so anxious about Turab's performance as a student of his. "Cello, how do you think Turab is doing as one of your students?" Guru asked so gently, after seeing Cello's worrisome expressions. "Master Guru!" Cello replied. "Turab has proven to be a remarkable individual when it comes to understanding nature, science, arts of war… he is very intellectual and a powerful young warrior! But… he isn't a clan members, he can never be a Namekian! He can't understand the meaning of teamwork; he won't protect a single Namekian!" The teacher continued as he was sweating. "Will you please elaborate Cello!" Guru asked of the School teacher. "Master… in the fights between students and teachers, he never helped a single Namekian, even when he had the chance. He fights by him self… he puts great strategies for a one-versus-many fights, but he can never assist or help any of his fellow warriors in battle even if it meant death!" Cello replied so angrily to Turab's behavior in the past few days as a student. "Have you noticed anything strange about him, other than that Cello!?" Guru asked with a serene smile on his face, filled with such confidence. "Such as what Master?!" Cello replied, as he was confused from old Guru's question. "Turab has a very bizarre love to this planet and its nature! His heart is filled with strange desire to protect… but he only protects what cannot protect its self!" Guru replied with a smile. "That is true; he jumped in like a maniac in order to deflect an Energy Blast headed towards a tree!" Cello said, noticing at last the wisdom of Guru's decision to make Turab both a teacher and a student. "I… I couldn't understand it at first, but Turab is a protector by nature… thank you master Guru, I'll be headed back to school now!" Cello replied with a smile, as he bowed respectfully to old Guru. to be continued... ____________________________________________________________________ Post WC: 360 Total Word Count: 1490 |

Part Three: Teaching!? Meanwhile, as Turab's teacher - Cello - was at Guru's mansion in order to report in the situation in school, Turab was with a few Namekian kids. For Turab it was extremely strange thing to do, but with time he got used to them. They found his scary at first, but with time they learned to love him. They always sit around Turab fascinated about his stories and how he talk about the land, the clouds the sky the soil and how important is it to feel those things and be one with them in order to admire them. "Sensei!?" The smallest of the kids surrounding Turab started. "What is it!?" Turab replied with the same cold tone he always had. "So, we can be strong warriors as you are if we loved a tree? Or if we meditated and became one with nature?!" The kid asked, with an angelic face, filled with desire to learn, the same Turab had when he was his age. Turab grinned and nodded to that kid. "Yes kid, it is the only way!" Turab replied with such confidence. "What about Bassoon and Flute!? Shouldn't I love them as much as I love a tree?!" The kid continued asking. "And what are they?!" Turab asked. "They are my two friends and brothers!" The kid replied with an enthusiastic face and a wide smile. That answer put Turab in a state of shock. He had no answer to such a question. The young warrior never had a friend in his life. But this kid's answer, it has triggered something in Turab's mind, the way the kid talked about his friends with such passion. "And how are you going to answer this kid's question young warrior?!" A voice from behind asked with an amused tone. "Cello-Sensei?!" Turab started without even turning back. "Turab! This kid is your Sensei, not me! He managed with one question to teach you what I've been trying to do for days now… and on the other hand, you managed to teach us what Master Guru tried to teach for years! Your learning ends here Turab… and my report is as following: You are a remarkable Namekian Warrior with exceptional skills, both physical and spiritual. Your love to this planet, to all nature and what it holds within is amazing, it's actually outstanding son… but you have to also love others in order to continue loving a tree… or the clouds! This kid's question is your answer… you may go now, Master Guru seeks you… young warrior!" Cello, Turab's teacher for the past few days has given his last words as he was looking at Turab, knowing that no matter how cold this young warrior looked, he still is passionate on the inside. Turab turned back and looked at his teacher walking away and smiled. He then looked at the Namekian kid and put his hand on his tiny head, almost covering it all. "Thank you kid… thank you all!" He said as he was smiling to them for the first time. This was his farewell, and in his heart, all he wished for is to see them strong warriors one day, protectors of this planet. The young warrior departed again to where Guru is, perhaps now he can have more! Fin ____________________________________________________________________ Post WC: 551 Total Word Count: 2041 |
