The Fool of ADBZ
|
The massive capital-class warship known as the Selenis down upon Namek's green surface. Within, Tapion rose up out of his chair and walked towards the exit ramp. As he reached it, the sole other inhabitant of the ship quietly walked into the hangar and waved for his attention. He immediately moved over to her, even as the ramp lowered behind him. "Tapion, does Guru know of what you did during this war?" Erasia asked, making all attempts to appear relaxed in his ship, even though a mere week before, she had believed the elegant alien despised her. "If he does not, he soon will. I intend to tell him, Kami and Grandmaster Adel of my activities. They will judge if I was right in what I did," he responded, with a small smile. For him, telling the three most prominent masters for his travels about his temporary fall from the path of selflessness. For a moment, Tapion had allowed his fears to rule him, and he had done horrible things to escape those fears. "Good...Please, while you're out there, don't do anything stupid, got it?" Erasia commanded, more than asked, though the words seemed to plead with Tapion's common sense. He outright laughed at the tone she took with him, thinking how ironic it was for the possible future. "Yes, dear. I promise to remain a perfectly good boy while talking to Guru and searching Namek," Tapion responded, raising one hand and taking a mock solemn expression. He then winked at the emerald beauty, left a quick peck on her cheek and just about teleported out of the ship with his immense speed. Out in the open, though green, skies of Namek, the ashen warrior spent a moment to enjoy himself. He was going to do some very different things today, no matter how much it would eventually hurt. It was time for today, not tomorrow. As he flew, Tapion's senses picked up a significant power nearby. Stopping, he concentrated on the signal and the feeling of its aura. The aura felt good, like warm liquid gold flowing over him, but with tinges of scalding hot red and freezing darkness. Whoever the person was, they were not pure, but damn close to it. And they are definitely not someone I know, or remember at least. Well, let us go meet this new guy, Tapion thought, blasting off for the power signature, but making sure to throttle his speed to about half. He did not want to rip up the ground as he flew, that would certainly not help his case with the Great Elder. Moments passed before the elegant alien came upon a human on the ground. Dropping out of the sky, Tapion landed with a light click about twelve meters away and crossed his arms over his chest. He flared his aura a little bit to get the human's attention, even as he spoke up. "Heyla! Care to have a short convo and or training session, or am I alone in this thoughtline?" Tapion called out to the human male. ----------------------- An Hour Later ----------------------- Tapion landed heavily by his ship. His spar with Gosai, the human he had just met, had actually been quite a workout. For a lower power, Gosai had proven to be resourceful and unique in his technique, and had pushed the ashen warrior to try out a few new things against him. Walking up the ramp, Tapion was quick to close it behind him. He then used a brief burst of speed to get to his quarters as soon as possible. There, the elegant alien opened the door and moved in quietly. Even though Namek had no night, he knew both he and Erasia had gotten little sleep on the last day of travel; they had spent a lot of time talking and learning about each other. Choosing that moment to collapse into his bed, Tapion did not notice Erasia before she sat down next to him and began to massage his shoulders and back. He gave a little moan of happiness at the gesture. "I told you not to do anything stupid. Trying to sleep after working out as you did falls under that category," she said softly, though he could hear the mock severity in her voice. "Yeah, yeah, and I told myself that keeping my power and speed held back was a good idea for everyone else around me. Anyways, I still have to go see Guru, so I was not intending to sleep. Just kinda rest for a few moments before taking off again," Tapion responded, letting himself just experience the feeling of knots being undone before they could truly begin under the emerald beauty's nimble fingers. "Fine. Oh, I did find a few large emeralds and evidence that some diamonds may be left on Namek, but I still don't know what you need them for. Care to share, or did you fail that class in school as well?" Erasia asked, flipping Tapion over so he had to look at her straight in the face. They both knew that he was a horrible liar when looking someone in the eyes. "That joke just flew right over my head. I'm not that into Earth culture. Anyways, I'll tell you when I finish what I'm doing, but I think you'll like it. For right now, this small amount of rest and your hands were just what I needed to be ready to go see Guru. Be back in a few hours, depending on how disappointed he is," the ashen warrior answered before he sat up. He placed a sweet kiss upon the woman's lips before rushing out of the room. Tapion did not want to reveal the secret yet, not when the surprise of its revelation at the right moment would be so much better. Just as he was leaving, Tapion heard Erasia sigh and drop back, most likely because he had again evaded a true answer. Giving another mental shrug, the ashen warrior ran out of his ship and launched into the sky. Even though he had just sparred someone, Tapion had made sure to keep a large reserve of ki. He did not want to just fall out of the sky due to lack of power on the way to Guru's, especially since it was a decently long trip. Without further adieu, I am off to the Great Elder's house! he thought before throttling his speed up to fifty percent from his usual cruising speed of twenty-five percent. It felt good to let loose just a little bit every now and then. -------------------------- Word Count: 1,124 Word of Tapion: 1,124 |

Tapion roared through the sky, his cerulean aura leaving a faded trail of ki behind him. Even with his aura between him and the air, the wind whipped and flipped his mohawk of red hair, almost annoying the ashen warrior, if he had not enjoyed flying so much. The speed Tapion showed at that moment was incredible, but he knew that it was not the true showing that he had used only twice before; once against Pan in a mental spar and once against Liquea to defeat her. Both times, the event had ended in Tapion falling into darkness before he could see the true conclusion. Mentally waving away the grim thoughts before they could coalesce and darken his mood, the elegant alien saw Guru's home coming into view. He put on an extra burst of speed to reach the hut quicker and landed with a soft click upon the thin spire. Tapion never could understand Guru's reasoning on placing his home on a thin spire of rock on a relatively small island of land. It just seemed unnecessarily dangerous. Then again, the Great Elder of Namek was a strange fellow to many, and he seemed to enjoy living there. Well, time to meet with Guru and tell him everything if he doesn't already know, Tapion thought nervously, his palms growing just a little sweaty at the thought of a disappointed Guru. To be truthful, the Namekian was so old and big that when he grew disappointed, it made the ashen warrior feel like he just killed his own grandfather all over again. For Tapion, killing his grandpa had been bad enough, doing it all over again in metaphorical context would just be extremely depressing to the point of suicide. Walking up to the door, the elegant alien was surprised to not see Guru's usual Namekian guardian awaiting him. It was strange to see the warrior away from Guru's side, which implied either something horrible was happening on Namek, or the old Namekian had sent him off to train. It could not be the first, for Tapion did not feel anyone quite powerful enough to kill the guardian without alerting him. I guess Guru had a mission for him...Hmmm, I think one of these days I should learn that Namekian's name. It would be to my benefit to know who I'm meeting each time I visit here, thought the ashen warrior as he quietly moved into the bottom floor of the two-story house. Tapion remembered that above him would be Guru, patiently awaiting whoever he sensed below him to rise up and present themselves. Letting out a sigh of hesitating nerves, he stepped forward onto the platform, spoke a word of Namekian, and rose up into the main room of Guru's hut. "Good day, Great Elder of Namek. I came to speak to you of matters of the past. Events that have already happened and cannot be changed, but still require the judgement of another to pass a verdict. I ask that you be the first to pass verdict upon me," Tapion stated, covering his own hesitations with a strong, unwavering front. He walked forward and stood before the massive Namekian, arms hanging loosely at his sides as he waited expectantly for Guru's answer. For a long moment, Guru stared off into space, apparently ignoring the ashen warrior before him. He then looked down at Tapion and answered in the deep, rumbling and slow voice he was known for. "Give me a moment of time to consider your request, Tapion. What you ask is a great burden to bear, taking into account the position you hold to the inhabitants of this galaxy," Guru responded, making a slow wave of his hand for the elegant alien to head back to the first floor. Bowing, Tapion did just that and soon found himself back below, waiting for the Namekian's decision. As he waited, Tapion drew out his scarlet gem, focusing his incredible will upon the gem to send his mind to the Astral Realm. Little did Tapion know that he would find himself sparring against a familiar opponent and acquaintance; one that had recently aquired a large amount of power. -------------------------- Word Count: 714 Word of Tapion: 1,838 |

Tapion came back to himself with a gasp. The encounter with the Youko known as Sanara had been interesting, to say the least. His sudden jump in power, even so far to a point that even Tapion had been hard-pressed to see him move for a short time, had been a big surprise. Then again, he should have been used to surprises, considering all the big spooks he had gotten over the years. Looking up, the ashen warrior realized that Guru was ready for him. Once again, he rose into the room that the old Namekian sat within. Standing before the massive elder, Tapion waited patiently for the answer. After a long moment, he spoke. "Tapion, tell me of these actions that require judgement. What could you have done that has you coming to me for a verdict?" Guru asked, his old voice blowing away in the air so that the elegant alien barely heard it. Nodding, Tapion began. "As you may very well know, I did horrible things in my first forty years of life. On Ippen, I revived the cause of those events and was forced to imbue myself with the cause once again. It is only a matter of time before I slip again," he said quietly, speaking just loud enough so that the silent Namekian could hear. "I feared my inevitable fall into madness, going so far as to step off the path of selflessness I've been traveling for so long. In an attempt to find someone to kill me, thus allowing me to flee my fate, I assumed the persona of Kona and joined the war upon the side of Canoness Liquea and the Valkyrians," Tapion stated, forcing himself to keep his eyes upon Guru's face. He could not afford to falter. "The end of the war has already come and pass. As I have been told, I defeated Liquea on Rath, with the help of the Changeling Prince Freeza. Guru, I ask you to pass verdict upon my actions," Tapion said, bowing his head before the Great Elder of Namek. For an even longer moment than before, the ancient Namekian did not speak, choosing his words carefully. After a long wait, Guru spoke slowly. "Tapion, I cannot pass verdict upon you," he stated calmly. Hearing this, the ashen warrior looked up and began to say something before he saw Guru's hand held up in a motion for silence. "I cannot pass judgement for you have already judged yourself. Tapion, you are not guilty, just mortal. I fear that, at times, you forget that you are no god and thus susceptible to all the faults of a mortal. For now, a student of mine awaits outside. Speak with him, train with him, and then return to me. I have a gift I wish to give you, if the circumstances warrant it," Guru wheezed before falling into his seat. It was obvious to Tapion that the conversation was ended, so he bowed his head in respect before descending back down. He then walked out of the two-story hut, only to see a Namekian glaring at a hybrid warrior. "Huh, I did not expect this. To whom was I meant to speak with under the orders of Guru?" Tapion asked to the duo, startling the Namekian into jumping and looking at him in surprise. Sighing, the elegant alien smiled and waved at the guardian and the half-breed Saiyan. Looks like I'll be late getting to the ship, Erasia. Don't break anything while I'm gone, Tapion thought to himself even as he walked forward to stand between the two. -------------------------- Word Count: 612 Word of Tapion: 2,450 |

Akina's lips released a sigh as the half breed warrior looked out at the horizon. He was in the home of Guru as part of his trainer after completing the trial. Even if he was weaker, one could say that tactic could make up sometimes. Akina surmised that was the thought behind Guru's thoughts when he placed Akina on guard this day. Not that it mattered to Akina, besides that he wanted Guru Sensei as safe as he could be. Still stuck with using Fundamental techniques (he worked every day perfecting the technique Guru Sensei had shown him for passing the trials), Akina was still proud that he'd perfected his hidden move, Raiu Hirate. Not even Goku Jr. knew about it, and he was Akina's training partner. Besides, the leather bound warrior reflected, electricity was dangerous to use, even around those more powerful around him. Akina's Scouter suddenly warned the half blood Saiyan of a power that moved swiftly towards the house of Guru, which caused a low sigh to slide from his lips. The power reading was around seventy five thousand, and after he reflected again, why he was there. Guru had said that Akina was there to think and to learn by examples provided by this new warrior on his way. Not to mention this person could teach Akina to use the blade. Akina had the blade strapped across his back, the blade's handle was slightly changed to his preferences. He had changed the handle from wrappings to a black leather grip. It just made the blade fit with his dark appearance. In any case, Akina moved as instructed to: away, let the warrior pass, and then Akina would resume his duties. A relaxing shrug gripped his tense shoulders as he took off into the air without expelling ki and floated down the spire before the warrior was within sight, down to the base behind the house, where his ship was currently located. Landing near the ship, the black leather bound warrior removed the sword strap from his back and placed the sword beside him as he leaned against the spiral of rock. One ebony eye closed as the computer was placing Namekian dialect along the 'screen' that was his closed eye as he was studying it to better communicate with the natives. He wouldn't stay too much longer on this trip, he would need to return home soon enough. After Akina watched the Scouter with the other eye, he saw that the warrior soon enough entered and was far enough in that he grabbed his sword and levitated off the ground. The half breed warrior flew up to the top of the spiral and landed outside, having slipped the sword belt around his waist on his way up. His heavy boots made a lighter sound then one might have expected, 'tmpt', when he landed on the light grass and looked out at the sky. One of the other Namekians came out and growled, "Akina, make sure to stay around. You are on guard duty today, remember?" Akina's arms folded over his chest as he turned his ebony eyes to the green skinned being. This one obviously disliked the half blood warrior. Akina had heard that this Namekian failed the trial on his first run through when he attacked with Ki. Akina kept this in mind and replied quietly, "I was given special instructions by Guru sensei. I'm back on duty anyway. It was moment to break; don't ask my why. It'd be best if you got back inside, since you can't sense ki, nor have a Scouter to sense it." The Namekian couldn't argue, and he even as he tried to think of a come back, it didn't come. A growl slid his lips before the green alien turned around and marched into the house- or at least, those would have been his actions if Tapion had not showed up. The ebony eyed hybrid would turn to face the pale Alien, speaking before the Namekian could answer his his arms folded over his chest, "Guru Sensei said that the vistor would be a secondary sensei. My name is Mori Akina." Arms wrenched themselves free from the fold they had been in and Akina placed his arm out. Obviously the guardian wasn't needed, so he stormed off in rage, though this gave no satisfaction to Akina. Akina would instead focus on this stranger, who had and epee at his side. Not exaclly the same as his hand and half sword, but the half blood would say nothing about it as he waited for the Pale Alien to say 'hi' and maybe introduce himself. But the android in him was already taking all details and installing them onto a chip that he had stored farther within himself, in a location only his father knew. Tapion's eyebrow shot up at the rage the guardian held towards the hybrid. He had begun to think the entire Namekian population had complete and perfect control of their emotions at all times. It appeared that this was not the case at all. Well, that's what I get for forming a generalization in my mind. Now, time to see what this guy can do, he thought as he moved to face only the half-breed. Looking him up and down, Tapion cocked his head in confusion. Stretching out his senses, he felt the hybrid's energies, feeling how they seemed to flow through differing forms of ki and electricity. Huh, is he half-machine? That would explain why it is harder for me to scan the upper surface of his mind...I probably should not be doing that, should I? Tapion pondered for a second, wondering over the morality of scanning a stranger's mind. Of course, it would protect him from getting attacked at random, but then again, he was breaking the only real privacy everyone had. Was he prepared to make a choice between order and freedom? Mentally shrugging, the ashen warrior stored the question away for later consideration. For the time being, he was meant to train with this half-machine, half-Saiyan hybrid and learn something. This something was undoubtedly a lesson to grow Tapion's level of maturity and ability to cope with all kinds of pain. If he managed to learn this lesson, Guru meant to present him with a gift, one that had the elegant alien truly interested. "Good day, Mori Akina. I am Tapion, you may have heard of me. Follow me, we are off to train away from Guru's home. Don't want him to get hurt by any stray ki blasts or shockwaves," Tapion said, a soft smile upon his face. Rising into the air, he waved for Akina to follow before shooting off to the west. He specifically kept his speed down to what he presumed to be the hybrid's level. Tapion did not want Akina to fall behind and get lost or the ilk. Moments later, about thirty miles away from Guru's hut, Tapion landed down upon one of the larger islands. The light click of his weighted boots was all that was heard before he turned around to watch Akina land nearby. "Okay, so obviously you seem skilled with a blade. I want you to come at me with everything you have; all the skill that you can muster and strength that you can bring to bear. Do not worry about my safety, for I'll be fine with my epee," Tapion stated, drawing out his Rapier of Light and falling into a perfected stance. He had spent two weeks working on the opening stance for when he used a sword in battle and had finally come to master it. Let us see what you can do, Mori Akina. -------------------------- Word Count: 503 Word of Tapion: 3,758 |

The warrior obviously didn't know the circumstances behind Akina- he had, in fact, been a thorn in several of Guru's students sides, but thus far, the others had controlled their inner self. But the subject was not one to speak of, and Akina was glade that this warrior with an epee- he found the weapon strange for a warrior in these days- did not bring it up as he had spoken, saying, "Good day, Mori Akina. I am Tapion, you may have heard of me. Follow me, we are off to train away from Guru's home. Don't want him to get hurt by any stray ki blasts or shockwaves." "As you say, Tapion sensei," Akina replied, and voiced no argument, it sounded logical to him. Using the ability of Hikou, he floated into the air and then rocketed after Tapion- his speed would be around Tapion's expectation, though in battle he was faster then what he showed now. As they flew, Akina's thoughts flared into being, "So, this Tapion is famous...I think Guru Sensei mentioned him once, saying that he had trained a warrior like him. I know that Guru Sensei does not train sword, though, so I have to wonder where he learned that ability. Or is it self-taught?" Questions flooded his mind as they flew, but they would just be stored away. He could ponder about such matters after the two trained. And the time to train arrived about thirty miles away from the old Namekian's home, the two landing on a large island. Akina was told to draw his blade and show Tapion what he could do. Though Tapion might not believe his 'secret' had been discovered, Akina guessed he was stronger then he let on- the reason? All none Namekians that he had meet were conciderablly stronger then he was, and had been since he had arrived on Namek. But now, he thought to himself, was not the time to worry about such. His mind wondered back to a few days ago, when he had refined his sword technique... The half blood was now in the middle of training with the sword, a weapon that was famed in the past to be the generic weapon for soldiers, the world around, after the spear. The elegant weapon he gripped in his hand seemed too fragile, too weak to truly kill everything. After all the powers that Akina had witnessed, he truly believed that this would be an interesting experience. The only problem was his lack of training in using the bladed weapon, so he had to be careful not to use it around any Namekians on this planet. The weapon's sleek design always made him want to not use it, but if there was need to draw such a weapon, Akina would not hesitate. Stepping forward, Akina closed his eyes suddenly charged, swinging the sword in a wide arc, the blade slashed into an imaginary foe, cut in deep, and stuck in the rib cage. Akina growled and then harshly wrenched the weapon free, which gushed gallons of imaginary blood. In this training program he had accessed from his inner computer, he had more than one foe to contend with. The pommel of the weapon came into contact with the weapon's weapon, hitting the flat of the bladed weapon. Akina then dipped low, raising as the weapon guided itself into the chest of his weapon, cut into the heart. A gasp escaped the enemy's throat, blood spilled out of there too... The memory faded as Akina took his offensive stance- the memory was just a moment for Tapion, but for the machine in Akina, it was an eternity. Akina showed Tapion hi truest power as his aura erupted around him, as he added, "This isn't my full power, either. Give me a moment to bring it all out." Energy then flared around the warrior anew, a bigger aura as one could see his hair started to grow and change color, his muscles bulging out a tiny bit more. In a few moments, the warrior before Tapion had transformed into what looked like a completely different being. Orange hair with golden blond tip an teal eyes with black pupils that replaced his whole ebony eyes. releasing a sigh, the half blood warrior narrowed those eyes and crouched slightly. He rushed at Tapion with all thoughts but 'defeat him' on his mind- it was all the machine would allow anyone to read in his mind. The sword held low to the ground at an angle, so low that it almost dragged on the grass. An arc would e created with the double edged blade, swathing a path toward the ashen skinned alien. But that was not all, as if the alien deflected the slash or dodged away, Akina would pull the weapon back and dip in further to Tapion's position, the sword stabbed up toward Tapion's throat as thought Akina sought to have it torn open and have gushes of blood stream out. Tapion smiled as he saw the transformation take place. The warrior before him had the ability to increase his own power through hyper-evolution, something the ashen warrior had thought only the upper tiers of fighters in the galaxy knew of. Then again, that day he had been seeing surprise after surprise. First the human Gosai, then Sanara, and it was apparently Akina's turn too. Well, at least I know he has a deep reservoir of potential. Anyone who can tap into their own body to force a hyper-evolution that increases their power is a warrior of great potential, Tapion thought, even as he quietly lowered his own power to twenty-five thousand. Long had he practiced improving his finesse with ki, going to such lengths that he no longer required the mock-constipation most fighters had when accessing their full power. As Akina rushed forward towards him, the ashen warrior immediately ran a scan of his mind, only to encounter a wall of blank thought. His eyebrow shot up a this before he reacted solely on instinct to build a defense against the hybrid's assault. Without hesitation, Tapion slid his rapier's blade along the larger sword before bouncing Akina's weapon away with the basket of his own sword. When the hybrid felt this and stepped in for a follow-up, Tapion was once again ready with his rapier. He slid the blade to push away Akina's even as he moved to the side. It scraped up his cheek, just cutting a shallow line along his face. "Good, good, I can see you know how to use that large blade you wield. Now, can you gua-" Tapion was broken off by a sudden feeling of power popping up nearby. His head snapped to the side before he suddenly leaped a full speed straight at Akina. "Get down!" he roared as he pushed Akina out of the way of a powerful blast of scarlet and green ki. The ensuing explosion smashed Tapion away, throwing him a good hundred feet. Eventaully, he was able to bring himself under control and looked up as an old enemy floated above him in the sky. "Grunge..." Tapion growled, as he stared at the bio-android above him and Akina. Looking at him, the elegant alien knew it had experienced another massive rise in power, achieving perfection. The fact that Grunge had gotten to that level worried Tapion, for the sheer amount of power flowing from it was overwhelming and he was not sure if he could take it. Quickly, Tapion turned his head to Akina. "Mori-san, run. Go and get help from Guru. I'll hold him down, but I do not yet know if I can defeat him," Tapion whispered to the hybrid, keeping his voice low enough so that Grunge could not hear him. After he said this, the ashen warrior rose into the sky, facing the perfect bio-android in the sky. "Ahh, Tapion, I do believe I have surpassed you now. Shall we test this newest theory of mine?" Grunge asked, a cocky grin on its face. Tapion growled in response as he brought all his power out of its depths and then began to go beyond it. "Not entirely. I've been increasing my own power while away from Earth, as you can no doubt see," he replied before closing his eyes in concentration. Around him, his cerulean aura roared and whipped like a great blue fire. Suddenly, though, it disappeared into his body, fading away completely. All over his body, black metallic ooze flowed from every pore and covered him entirely in its onyx darkness. Slowly, Tapion opened his eyes to reveal stars that were quickly engulfed in a blue, demonic fire. His mouth also let out licks of sapphire embers from its edges. "Come Grunge, you stand now in the courtroom, and I am your judge. What shall your verdict be?" asked the Adjudicator. His voice sounded like it came from the bottom of a well, echoing and distant as he watched the bio-android. Frowning, Grunge could feel the power that flowed from Tapion, even though no aura surrounded him. The two watched each other for a moment, looking for that little twitch that would mark the beginning. Grunge was the first to move, but the Adjudicator was not far behind. They met slightly closer to the bio-android's side, for Tapion's speed was greater than its. Immediately, they launched into a roaring flurry of blows, the Adjudicator proving faster and more accurate while Grunge proved himself much stronger and tougher. Thus did shockwaves emanate across the land, alerting every single sensitive warrior on Namek to the great struggle going on thirty miles away from Guru's home. -------------------------- Word Count: 802 Word of Tapion: 3,755 Word of Topic: 5,395 |

Akina's first attack was deflected by the basket of the Epee that his teacher wielded, and soon his second attack was deflected as he used his full strength. Tapion, he could only now see through the navy blue Scouter's screen, had lowered to around double his new maximum power. And then he saw it- his blade made a shallow slice on the check of the pale skinned alien. Light surprise filtered into his mind, but that was only momentary. Akina had wheeled around for another strike, but stopped as his sensei spoke to him, "Good, good, I can see you know how to use that large blade you wield. Now, can you gua-" Cut off, Akina's Scouter went wild as it captured the power level of whatever had stopped Tapion's words. The next thing the half blood knew, he was being knocked over by Tapion, and near two were nearly skewered on Akina's sword. Managing to throw the weapon into the ground a few meters away, Akina would be guarded by Tapion, who was sent flying and knocked Akina a few more meters away from Tapion. Akina grunted with light pain when he slammed into the ground, his injuries no more then a few scraps or small cuts and a sore wrist. What Akina saw for Tapion was a longer time getting up. Akina cursed under his breath, and then his eyes widened when he saw the Scouter break, blinding him for a moment and then he stared up at the being. This level of power was something at Akina felt, being close, even without the ability to sense. Akina knew that if he had been hit by that blast, Akina surely would have died- been vaporized, in fact. Then the alien with the crimson Mohawk spoke up, catching the half blood's attention, though Akina only glanced at Tapion momentarily, "Mori-san, run. Go and get help from Guru. I'll hold him down, but I do not yet know if I can defeat him." It was a truth that Akina had to admit. And admitting that he was weak, especially after Guru had granted him the trial...Akina growled low in his throat and slammed his fist into the ground, the strength creating a minor crater. Why? What had Akina missed in his training that made him so weak, compared to those that made his power, impressive to some standers, a joke? His Hikou ability lifted the half blood into the air, and he moved away for a short time, but stopped within seeing distance. Akina planned on witnessing the beginning of the fight, first. "I'm sorry, Tapion Sensei, but I must learn. Namek is a place you know far better than me, and you and I know that no Namekian here can take on this Grudge character. I will see if the guardians will return with me, however." Akina witnessed the transformation of his secondary sensei, and his eyes widened at the change. What was this Alien now? His ashen skin was now ebony, and the eyes of the man changed to blue fire. Akina wondered what was happening with the pause, but then the action stared. Akina cursed under his breath again, since he couldn't really see the battle. Akina shook his head and turned, flying to the house of Guru, landing as the guardians were already out, the one that sensed power levels sunk to his knees and sweating. Akina landed and spoke before any of them spoke up, "We need to go and assist Tapion. But first I must speak with Guru Sensei. Thirty miles, thats the distances. Hurry up- he may need the help. Be direct ki support. Up close, none of us stand a chance, not even all together." Akina turned and let them leave when they wished, but Akina needed to speak to Guru. Jumping into the air as the platform lowered, Akina squeezed through. Akina landed and walked over to Guru, and spoke quietly, "Guru Sensei...I know that normally would never move away from your post on the seat, but please, sit in my seat in my ship. I'd rather get you out of here quickly." Though Akina had never suggested this before, Akina needed to make sure that Guru was safe. A Namekian assassin, he handed with Gosai, but this Grudged character. Tapion had likely thought he might not be able to take down Grudge. And so, Akina wanted Guru to be safe, and if that entitled the movement of the large Namekian, then Akina needed to do that- the hybrid needed to repay his master. Words: 2,402 T. -Inside Guru's House- Guru looked out towards the source of the massive disturbances. The powers he felt, they were incredible. Only a few times before had the old Namekian felt such energy on Namek, and that had come from a four-way battle between the galaxy's mightiest warriors. Guru was broken from his reverie by Mori Akina, the hybrid he had been training for the past few weeks. Turning slightly to look at him, the Great Elder of Namek replied as quickly as his age allowed him to. "I will gratefully accept your help. Although I ask to make one amendment. When we arrive in your ship, would you move near to the warship known as the Selenis? It shall provide extra protection for us, if what Tapion thinks about it is true," Guru asked, his voice filled with the age he felt weighing down upon him. He did not mean to offend Akina in any way by making the request, but the ancient Namekian had once read Tapion's mind and found the information about his ship within his mind. Sometimes, a warship had its uses, no matter how pacifist Guru was. -Thirty Miles From Guru's House- The Adjudicator crashed into the green waters of Namek with the force of a meteor. Grunge had thrown him hard, and followed it up with a beam of scarlet and green ki that just made the decent even more painful. Slowly, he rose out of the underwater crater his body had made. Damn him, he has definitely gotten more powerful. I'm going to have to make this quick, or he'll outlast me, thought the Adjudicator. He fired out of the water and slammed into the perfect bio-android. He immediately smashed an open palm, charged with blazing cerulean fire, into its face before latching onto its shoulder. His free hand shot out and latched onto Grunge's arm, and Tapion pulled with all his strength. In response, Grunge punched the Adjudicator in the kidney, but its fist met the strong diamond armor he always wore and was unable to stop what happened next. With a roar, Tapion ripped off the bio-android's arm and then smashed it into its face. Tossing the arm away, the Adjudicator continued his assault, for he knew the temporary advantage would not last for long. With a final bellow of power, he thrust two glowing palms of energy into Grunge's chest, blasting the bio-android into the island. Immediately, the island cracked and broke apart. Water poured in, filling the cracked land and making new, smaller, islands. Above, Tapion panted with the exertion of producing that much damage against Grunge. Even as he watched, though, the Adjudicator knew it was not over. He could feel the bio-android's power fluctuating as it activated the power of regeneration, then stabilizing as it finished and began to rise back into the air. Damn, this is going to take a long, long time and a lot of power, he thought grimly. Unknown to Tapion, the Namekian Guardians were approaching, about ten miles away at that moment. They would reach him in the next few minutes, but those few minutes could very well be crucial. -------------------------- Word Count: 548 Word of Tapion: 4,303 Word of Topic: 6,705 |

Akina received an answer that made him glade that the Namekian was far more wise then powerful in ki. Age had its advantages, and Akina counted Guru as a sage, or by som religions on Earth, an actual ‘guru’, a spiritual leader of the Hindus that had attained spiritual perfection with cosmic energies. Akina nodded his head to the elderly Namekian, and turned his head to an area above Guru, blasting a hole big enough for Guru and his chair plenty of space to pass through. Akina further assisted the larger male alien by using pure brute force to life up the chair from the stone, though it was straining him. Luckily their flight would be straight down. Carefully using the Hikou ability, Akina would lift the elder and his chair into the air and fly through the hole. I knew that the guardians of the Grand Elder would be none too happy at what Akina was doing, but did the half blood really have any choice. Although he wanted to believe that his teacher had the power to defeat the evil presence, he needed Guru preserved and protected just in case he wasn’t able to beat the being that had attacked the pair. Luckily Akina did not have to put too much energy into going down. He just needed to use his energy to keep their decent slow enough that it took little effort to control Guru in his chair. He grunted with the effort, but with the android side within him, the half blood Saiyan landed Guru and his chair where he would allow the large man to easily get to the get to the platform. Akina spoke in the ancient Namekian language with some pride in knowing some of it, at least, "Piccolo." When the platform lowered, Akina helped Guru to it and he spoke the word again, which lifted the two into the ship. Akina took the large Namekian to a seat that he had had custom installed in the ship, ever since that assassin had came after Guru. Akina made sure that the old man was comfortable (even offering the old Namekian juice or something like water to drink so that he was completely fine) before he asked the man a rather important question with a sweat drop coming to the side of his head, "So, Guru Sensei, where is this Selenis? I’ll need to know where to take us." Words: 2,807 T. Words: 7,110 Akina Tapion |

-With Tapion and Grunge- The two superpowers collided, sending shockwaves rippling throughout the area. Their hands flew, forearms bruising and cracking under the force of trying to block the other. Knees shot up and the hollow noise of flesh on flesh was all that could be heard. Eventually, the Adjudicator smashed an open palm into Grunge's cheek, sending him flying. The bio-android was able to stop it descent quickly and land lightly. It smiled up at Tapion, still confident in its power. "Well, well, well, Tapion. You have gotten stronger, I will admit that, but you still will not win this day. This is why," Grunge stated as he slid easily into a stance horrifyingly familiar to Tapion. Almost immediately, the Adjudicator drew his hands back, cupping them at his side. Below, he could see iridescent energy charging up. He began the famous chant immediately in response. "Kaaaaa...Meeee..." began the Adjudicator, a spark of blue-white ki showing in his cupped hands. It slowly began to gather more energy. "Haaaa...Meeee" Tapion continued. The spark had since become an orb of power in his palms, pushing against his hands as it tried to escape the binds that held it. It soon did, sending rays of blue-white light around the battlefield. Below, Grunge seemed to have completed his own gathering of energy and openly grinned at the warrior above him. "Rainbow Plasma Special!" screamed the perfect bio-android. Out of its hands emerged a massive beam of colorful energy. It roared towards Tapion, ripping the air before it with the amount of power in the attack. In response, he thrust his cupped hands forward. "Haaaaa!!" the Adjudicator roared, his own blue-white beam of ki plowing through the sky towards Grunge's attack. In the middle, the Kamehameha and the Rainbow Plasma Special met. Almost immediately, the stronger was obvious as Tapion's attack began to be eaten up by the iridescent beam. He had only managed to slow it as it continued towards him. As it came towards him, one thought came to the fore of his mind. I...Dammit, I can't. This is going to hurt so much, though, he thought. Tapion let go of his own beam and rolled into a ball. The rainbow-colored wave of ki hit into him, easily burning through the initial layer of the Ka'kari that covered his body. The sheer power in the beam burned at his body and ripped into him. The pain was incredible, but try as he might, Tapion could not scream. The attack lasted for what seemed like an eternity of agony for Tapion, but for Grunge was all too short a time. It could feel its opponent's pain and relished in this fact even as its ki ran to dangerously low levels. When it reached too low of a level, the bio-android stopped and watched for what remained of the elegant alien. Out of the sky fell a single person, utterly defeated. His body was burned and ruined from the power Grunge had displayed. With a crash, Tapion hit the ground, leaving a small crater from his impact. Slowly, Grunge began to walk towards his body. Unknown to him, the Guardians were nearby. -With Guru and Akina- Guru helped all he could when the hybrid brought him down and then into his own spaceship. He gratefully took the drink and gulped down a large amount of it. Then the ancient Namekian nodded towards Akina before speaking. "It is about a hundred miles to the East, far away from the battlefield," Guru said even as he stretched his great mind to feel what was happening with Tapion and the Namekians he had sent to help the ashen warrior. Almost immediately, a spark of surprise crossed the Great Elder's face. "Akina...Go to Tapion. He'll need you. The bio-android monster has defeated him, but is so weakened from the battle that you and the others can drive him away. This is a Namekian Spaceship, so I can lead it to the Selenis as you deal with this situation," Guru said at a hurried pace. It was truly amazing the speed he spoke, considering the age that weighed his speech down. Suddenly, though, Guru's hand came up to stop Akina. "Wait, could you take this with you and leave it upon Tapion's body? He will have need of it if he can survive this," asked the old Namekian even as he held out the item in question. In his massive hand lay a small ring, made of a strange black metal and held a beautiful diamond enwrapped in the metal. Even looking at it, one could tell that the ring would never break, no matter how much power one brought to bear against it. Turning away from the hybrid, Guru began to speak slowly to the ship, turning it on and readying it for a short jump over to Tapion's warship. Events had taken a turn for the worse, but it was still possible to end it all without death. -------------------------- Word Count: 858 Word of Tapion: 5,161 Word of Topic: 7,968 |

- Akina - Akina would nod at what Guru had told him, and turned to start to control the ship. However, before his lips could open, Guru spoke, and terribly fast for his usual, aged pace that was sometimes interrupted by a cough, "Akina...Go to Tapion. He'll need you. The bio-android monster has defeated him, but is so weakened from the battle that you and the others can drive him away. This is a Namekian Spaceship, so I can lead it to the Selenis as you deal with this situation." Raising an eyebrow, Akina just nodded in response to the Grand Elder and jogged over to the exit after grabbing that amazing ring as the ship prepared under Guru's words, all known to Akina. The half blood went through with the word 'Piccolo' again, Akina took to the skies as quickly as he could. Tapion seemed just fine earlier...Akina shook his head. The sword that was on the battlefield was likely destroyed. But he still had a surprise attack- his lightning palm strike, the Raiu Hirate. And a combo that always worked well with it was the Dragon Dive. But he knew there couldn't be any time. Not without the Scouter that augmented the difference in speed between various opponents. - Namekian Guardians - Each and every one of them were curious to see this monster of a being. The senor had to be helped along, though. Something about that battle strength made the man unable to move easily. But even as they were getting closer, that Namekian spoke up, "Slow down. Akina is on his way, sent by the Grand Elder." The group slowed down, wondering why they were waiting for Akina. None of them had ever seen Akina in that orange hair form, so each was curious- what were the abilities of that form? So they slowed down and waited for Akina. - Akina - The half blood Android saw the group before he was within the ranged shouting distance. He wanted to yell at them how foolish it was to wait like this, but he'd little time for this. A saved Tapion likely wasn't on their collective minds. Akina, instead, simply passed them as he rocketed towards the fight. No, Akina knew that he could make it. The half breed Saiyan pushed himself, and then he saw it. A battlefield reduced to miniature islands, with broken land filled in with the green waters of Namek. The placed reeked of the struggle, the half breed Saiyan could sense that much. But Akina also saw the bio-android, or at least he assumed that is what it was, and he saw a crater as well. Akina cursed under his breather as he knew who it must be. Even as the Namekians arrived, he ordered, "Go and attack that being with your strongest Ki attack- all but the sensor, stay back and keep us as informed as you can. I will drive him back, no matter the cost. And do not argue with me, there isn't any time, damn it all." To Akina's surprise, all of them did as he had asked. Akina then rocked towards the bio-android as many of the Namekians fired off Masenko beams, a great distraction tool for Akina. A roar erupted from the half blood Saiyan's lips once he was close enough to the bio-android: Akina was confident that even the Guardians' attacks would 'do nothing' to it. Electricity filled into around his hand before the palm was sent into a crash course with Grudge's back. Akina hoped that the attack hit, because he rocketed into the air afterwards and then rocked down with an outstretched arm, teeth clenched in a snarl as the half blood Saiyan used the Dragon Dive, since he calculated the plan in his head after seeing the help had had. Akina just hoped that he would make a hole in the middle of the bio-android, and remembered that such things as other races could regenerate. Akina added to his hopes in the Dragon Dive that if the Dragon Drive struck and made that hole, the bio-android would be unable to either regenerate or it would use too much energy after it regenerated itself. Truly, Akina's most costly gamble. Words: 3,514 T. Words: 8,675 Akina Tapion Guru Sensor Namekian |

Grunge stood over the fallen Tapion, a cruel smile on its face as it watched his bloodied exposed chest rise and fall ever so slowly. The ashen warrior was so very close to death, and this very moment was delicious for it. One more strike, just one more, and Tapion would be dead. Without the righteous alien to stand in its way, it could get along with doing what it did best; creating perfection. "So weak..." Grunge whispered, though who it whispered this phrase to would never be known, for at that moment its head whipped to the side in surprise. Multiple ki blasts came forward and served to knock it back. The bio-android had used too much energy against Tapion to create a strong front against the new attackers. As it looked at them, Grunge was surprised by what it saw. "Namekians attack me?!" the bio-android roared in question. The sheer volume of his incredulous rage decimated the rest of the ki blasts coming towards him from the small group of Namekians. It was just about to kick off towards the new enemies when a fist collided with its cheek. The attack did not hurt, but it did serve to piss Grunge off even more. "What kind of little rat just attacked me?!" Grunge bellowed to all the heavens. As it looked for its newest target, a sharp jab of pain hit it in the side and ripped off a good chunk of its body. Earlier, Tapion had struck him there with his rapier, a blinding sphere of bright light that had burned and cut the bio-android dozens of times. Looking down, the bio-android saw that someone had taken advantage of its weakened state to tear away at it. Rage in its eyes, Grunge looked all around it. Finally, it laid its dark gaze upon the half-breed Saiyan in his transformed state. The look upon the bio-android's face promised a revenge more horrifying than anything would be given to him. Then, it looked away and shot away. The bio-android knew when it was outnumbered and outpowered, and that situation had certainly met all requirements. Later, later would be the time to kill Tapion. For the time being, though, it would rest and recuperate. It would grow even stronger from its battles, thanks to Saiyan cells. It would be even better equipped to kill the alien and that little hybrid. For Tapion, his body still felt shivers of pain ripping through. The attack Grunge had delivered to him had been incredible. As he had thought, its power had even rivalled the deadly blows Pan had laid upon him. Thankfully, that same, oh-so-frustrating and headstrong Saiyan woman had prepared Tapion for such power by using that very power against him. He was able to handle the pain, to a degree, and stay alive. I just hope these new powers that just drove away Grunge are here to help me, Tapion thought grimly. He could feel the Namekian signatures and Akina's unique aura, but even the senses he had developed on Earth were not a hundred percent perfect. Like all of existence, nothing could be perfect. Not a single thing. -------------------------- Word Count: 541 Word of Tapion: 5,702 Word of Topic: 9,216 |

Akina counted himself lucky to be alive- the sheer malice in the eyes that had glared at him nearly forced him to faint. The battle strengths of most of the Namekians were around his or higher, but he had dared to touch the a boi android, tearing away a part of its body. That piece was something Akina would take with him as he was going to be leaving soon. He would give it to his step father as an apology for not telling the man that he had left. He was sure that such an experimental being would be to his liking. After all, Akina was a similar being- at least in that he was a biological being that now survived because of android parts. Akina left the piece where it was, first, however, as he saw his sword and went over to pick it up, slipping it back into it's scabbard. The half blood Saiyan then walked over to Tapion, picking up the warrior by the arm slung over is shoulder as he spoke, "That bio android, I think you called it Grudge, has left. I don't know why, but I'm glade he is. I'm going to bring you to my ship so you can recover quickly: I have a special tank in there for just such occasions as this one. Rest up for the journey, Sensei," Akina would pause in what he was saying to Tapion and yelled at the Namekians, "Follow me, Guru sensei should still be in my ship." Taking to the air with the broken warrior, Akina was careful to take precautions to not harm you alien, since he could feel and smell the blood. Moving carefully, Akina went to Guru's house first, and then turned East and flew that way. It would take a little extra time, but once they landed, Akina walked over to the ship that was sitting in the shadow of the warship. Curiosity could wait as Akina took the warrior over to his ship and opened the door. On the way up, Akina silently slipped that unbreakable looking ring onto Tapion's right hand, on the finger that it would fit on. Tapion, being placed within the tank, would take dome time to recover, but he would thank Akina. Meanwhile, Guru would likely have to remain in the ship while the healing too place. It wouldn't be good to disturb Tapion's recovery. Words: 3,916 T. Words: 10,159 Akina |

Tapion felt his body lifted into the air, shocks of pain piercing through the blanket of unconscious darkness that surrounded his mind. Within that darkness, the ashen warrior's mind wondered at the one thing that stuck out, something new and strange upon his body. Encircling the right ring finger of his nimble hands seemed to be a band made of a metal cool to the touch. What is this new object? he asked himself. Immediately, Tapion focused upon the band, concentrating his will upon it. It served the dual purpose of keeping him away from the true darkness of death and to give him something to learn about. Slowly, the elegant alien found a spark of familiarity from the metal, and realized just what was upon his finger. A ring?! A ring made of Katchin, no less! This is Guru's gift? Tapion thought. Katchin by itself was an incredibly metal, completely unbreakable to any known weapon or attack and the sheer cost of it was unthinkably high. To make a ring out of Katchin should have been near impossible, but somehow the ancient Namekian had done it. It was a gift worthy of a prince of the stars. Thank you, Guru. I hope the purpose I use this ring for will meet all your wishes, he concluded as he felt himself immersed in some kind of bath. With some effort, Tapion slipped the ring of and held it in his right hand with all his remaining strength. He would not lose this ring, for he still had something to do. -Three Days Later- It had taken two tank sessions beyond the one in Akina's ship for Tapion to get close to full health. The second two had been upon his own ship, after Erasia had gone to Akina and spoken with him. The emerald beauty had taken the ashen warrior to his own warship, where he had a rejuvenation tank that met up to high-level military standards. There, he had been forced to 'enjoy' an extra two sessions of healing before Erasia would even allow him to walk around. Then again, the verbal assault she had laid upon him when she saw the damage he had taken after a single healing session had destroyed any desire in Tapion for disobeying her medical orders. He did not want to see her in that state of worry ever again, for her emotions had been almost as belligerent as her words. In fact, for that period of time, the elegant alien had actually closed his empathic mind away from the outside world to escape the pain and concern and anger. For the time being, Tapion lay in his bed, waiting for the perfect mood to hit him. It just so happened, he seemed to have reached that exact mood. Standing up, Tapion left his quarters and walked towards the bridge of the ship. He still felt sore from the battle, but it was nothing that would hinder him too badly in a mere short walk. Soon enough, he found himself entering the command bridge of the Selenis, where Erasia was already working with the AI to set a course for a new planet. "Erasia, would you come here please?" Tapion asked, just loud enough for her to hear. The emerald beauty's head whipped around and looked at him, eyes flashing through a myriad of emotions before settling down upon determined exasperation with Tapion's continued avoidance of her nice demands. As she swayed over to him, her mouth opened with the beginnings of another lecture. Tapion, though, would have none of it as he immediately interrupted her with a finger against her mouth. "No need for the lecture, I already know how monumentally stupid I can be. I already know that you will always worry about my safety everytime I leave this ship and go off to save people or fight others," Tapion stated, slowly bringing his finger down. He could see that he had her attention and would be able to say everything he needed to. "We spoke before about why I do what I do. My, most likely self-destructive, need to help others above myself. I just have to go out and make sure the rest of the galaxy is safe before I can snuggle into bed at night," he said, lightly grabbing her hand to show her, with physical touch as well as with his eyes, the intensity of his emotions. The ashen warrior, though, kept one hand at his side, a special item hidden there. "I'll tell you right now, Erasia, I will not die. I could never live with myself if I died again. Honestly, I am way to nice a guy to do that to everyone who cares. That, and I have something I need to do," Tapion said as he sunk to one knee, still holding Erasia's hand. From his free hand, the elegant alien produced a black box, which contained the Katchin ring Guru had sent to him. "Erasia, will you marry me?" was the only question he asked, for it was the only one he needed to. Erasia's eyes, taking in the sight of the elaborate engagement ring, widened in surprise and filled with emotions. A proposal had definitely not been on her day's agenda. "T-tapion! You can't...but...what about...Tapion!" she finally yelled, so flustered that not even a cohesive sentence would form. For the ashen warrior, he merely cocked his head to the side while one eyebrow threatened to launch off his head. "Yes?" he asked, his voice full of curiosity to hear her answer. She stammered a few more times before finally stamping down on the steel of the ship's floor and looking at Tapion with frustration. "Goddammit, yes! Yes, I'll marry you!! But why are you always doing such boneheaded things?!" Erasia nearly yelled at him, taking the ring from the box and slipping it onto her finger. She sighed with exasperation before looking at the beauty of the ring that adorned her finger. It really was a very well-done ring, and the price of it must have been astronomical. Tapion simply smiled brightly, though his mind was already entertaining a far more morbid thought. Why do I get the feeling that the only difference between marriage and dating is the level of sex and nagging? Tapion asked himself, his thoughts sarcastic in tone, though a deep level of humour underlay the sarcasm. He did want to get married, but no one could truly tell what marriage would be like for one as publicly known and endangered as him. He just hoped Erasia would not kill him before he could get to dealing with the grime of the galaxy. -------------------------- Word Count: 1,145 Word of Tapion: 6,847 Word of Topic: 11,304 |

A low sigh slid from the lips of the half blood Saiyan after the first day. Looking after Tapion was a chore, or rather, Akina’s work for the first whole session. He didn’t even allow the green alien to come in before Tapion was near the end of the first session. Akina had found her strange in a few ways, but ha said nothing about his thoughts. The thoughts of the half blood were mostly on this type of pairing- not gender and gender- and of the befits in the future. Akina thought that it would indeed be useful to have someone ‘watch your back’ just in case you got into danger. Such thoughts filtered through his thoughts the rest of what passed for ‘one day’ on Namek and the dark Saiyan spent half the next day sleeping to recover his strength. Akina had been so focused on to treat the beat up Tapion that he had forgotten to cancel the transformation and had been holding it for a day and a half at that point. The second half of the second day, Akina had went to the war ship for a moment- looking at it to see what his might look like one day- and then flew off to train with Guru. He would have to leave the healing to those military type tanks, though Akina’s was just as good. After all, that woman might well have killed Tapion as she had fussed over him just to place him the tank that was within their ship. And so, Akina went about training, mostly mastering how to use the Masenko, because these battles and spars he kept running into those with more advanced blasts and beams made Akina wonder how lowly advanced he really was. Even Gohan, a teenage Akina’s own age, had that Big Bang attack at his disposal. At the end of the training session, Akina approached Guru with a somber look on his face, “Guru Sensei. I know you can sense what I’m thinking and feeling, and I usually let you just do that. Because of your old age, you see. But I think that at this moment, I need to let my feelings be heard. So, please listen," Akina paused as the Grand Elder would have almost seemed to fall asleep before a small nod was managed, and Akina continued, "Guru Sensei, the events of late leave me in a position where I need to find an outlet. Something to truly spark me again. I have train long here on Namek, but I think that it’s time I leave Namek and return to my home. You are well protected here, by the Guradians, who could best me were they all to attack at once, as they should if they have te opportunity. I want to thank you for all your help, insight, and forgiveness for my old sin." After Akina had fallen silent, it seemed Guru was in deep thought. There was not a chance that Guru was going to try and persuade the child to stay longer than he desired, but Guru knew that there was too much at stake for the youn half blood to go running off to look for trouble. But even these thoughts within Guru were quelled when Guru saw Akina’s expression. He was truly worn out, drawn and muscular. Namek was not the place for every peace loving being in the universe. A small smile formed on the elderly green alien, who spoke after a few dozen human heart beats, "Young Akina…I cannot and will not stop you from pursuing what you must. Due to old pupils from other planets, leaving before they learned the value of a life, I had thought after some time that many beings were such ways. But you are not like that, and have strove to prove yourself to the Namekian people. For assisting when there was not a single drop of gain for yourself shows your choice in many matters. You did not have to guard me against that assassin- assist in driving off demonic Namekians, nor did you back down from Tapion’s enemy, the bio android, when it was clear whom as superior. For these acts, even if the rest of Namek sees you as threat, I will at least trust you and your judgments." Akina’s warm smile made what Guru had said all the more meaningful. Akina let with a wave, knowing that it was bet to leave all discussion there. After all, the Namekians down below needed to be spoken to. Akina believed them to be brave as well. They had also attacked Grudge and had given Akina the time to gather the strength needed to push back the monster. Akina had left the Elder Namekian’s house with a real smile on his face. Only twice now had masters praised him: Tapion was the first and he, of course, received a good amount of respect for his power and being one of Akina’a key teachers, even if the ashen alien did not know it. The third day had returned Akina to a more familiar sect of training; more centrally around his own space ship, which remained near Tapion’s. Akina had not ha the thought to move it, and was currently outside. His eyes closed, Akina would silently concientrate as he needed to know just how ready he was to eliminate his enemies. Within meditation, Akina battled his own self. The process that went into such a thing were easy: the physical body allowed the computer to make simulations knowing all the statistics that it needed to for such an expercise. Fighting against his own self was a bit annoyin, he had to be honest about that. When an opponent knew all your moves and you knew all theirs, and the way that each technique started up, it was mostly a draw. It forced Akina to come up with new ways to defeat this imagina- He was suddenly interrupted by a yell: Akina was not sure of the exact location, but it had came from Tapion’s ship. The vibrations had set the mode of inner training to an end, in order to allow Akina to defend himself. Despite the computer’s ruthless nature, it was ‘learning’ to be more subservient to the dominant side. Akina looked back at the larger ship and chuckled as he sat back down again, having leapt up to defend himself. Settling back down, he though with a small smile on his face, "I think Tapion finally popped the question with his lady friend." Words: 5,010 T.
