Jai was walking down the farmer fields on the outskirts of West city, here they grew the crops for the people of West city to eat. Jai wasn't here to collect food. However, he was here for his own entertainment. Strolling through the fields was always so relaxing. There, was none of the busyness of the city, nothing could be heard except chirps of the birds and the farmers tending to there crops. Which kept them healthy and edible for the people to eat. It was always something that he admired, even if it didn't seem like the hardest job in the world.

Jai sat down next to a tree trunk looking out towards the horizen. When he heard the playful cries of children, laughing happily as they played not a single care in the world. However, none of this compared to the smell of fresh air. The smell, its always so refreshing it makes anyone feel alive. Jai took a deep breath, but then realised in the distance something seemed different, Jai was filled with shock.

"Something. is.. different," Jai commented. "It just doesn't feel right, and I'm going to get to the bottom of this." he muttered to himself. Jai stood up from the tree, taking a quick glance around him. His, fears were confirmed, when he noticed the fields were completely ruined. Destruction was everywhere. “There must have been an attack.” Jai muttered to himself.

“Help - *cough* Help” someone screamed, Jai turned towards the cry sharply. He saw a man with a tree collapsed upon him. The oldman looked to be barely be conscious. Jai quickly approach the man and removed the tree from upon him.

"What happened here?" Jai asked. As, he grabbed the man by the scruff of his collar.

The merchant tries to speak through the tears. "It's... It's horrible. All I tried to do was go about my business selling items to farmers and others. Then this... this MONSTER came out of nowhere. It destroyed the area. I have no idea how I'm still alive, or why. But I lost my... my things. Those things are what I devoted my life to. I worked so hard... and now, they're gone." the man looked nervously towards Jai's grip.

"Oh, I'm sorry..." Jai tried to apologize, he released the man from his grasp. "Maybe I can help you find them?!" he asked. “I'll take care of the monster too” Jai stated boastfully.

A small glimmer of hope now shines through the old man. "You... you can do that?!" he excitedly asked.

Jai flicked his wrist, confidently. "Sure, no sweat. I just need to tell me who attacked you, and what items you lost. Do you know anything that could help me recognise him?" Jai asked.

"Well the person who attacked me looked green with yellow spots. They looked like an alien!" the old man replied.

Jai flinched when the old man said alien, being an alien himself. He was a little surprised that no-one seemed to ask him about the tail.

"And with me I had a bag of senzu beans, with about... three beans in them. I had a thousand zeni, an elixir, and a... Hustler magazine." The old man stated, as he rubbed his head.

Jai hid a smirk at that last comment, *Master Roshi number two* thought Jai, giving a small chuckle.

"I'll go get your items then!” Jai told him, the old man instantaneously started with what seemed to be an endless amount of thanks. After all the thank you's from the merchant, Jai ran off. To begin his search to try and find the old man's things.

Jai ran along as fast as he could towards West city. He kept running, whilst listening out for any signs of trouble. If this thief was going to steal once, he'll definitely steal again. Jai was running towards West City, he felt if he was a thief it would be the perfect playground.

The City is absolutely huge, very well populated. Unfortunately, he also knew that west city had nothing but sky scrappers everywhere. So, finding a single person there would be very difficult. Never mind, all the noises from auto mobile engines, as well as the sound of people talking. Road construction, repair workers. Jai finally reached West city, as he had predicted the perpetrator had everything he desired victims, cover and noises to cover any cries for help. Jai knew that he was going no where now. Jai was now desperate for any information, he had promised the Oldman he would return with his items after all and he didn't want to break that promise. He decided to ask people if they had seen the perpetrator.

"Excuse me, have you seen a green skinned, yellow spotted creature with a bunch of stolen items?” Jai asked, a diver stuck at a red light.

"No, what the hell are you talking about?!" the driver asked back. However, the lights changed and the driver continued his journey not waiting for an answer.

"Excuse me, have you seen a green skinned, yellow spotted creature with a bunch of stolen items?” Jai asked, a woman in a rather skimpy outfit.

"Sorry, outfits are extras! Now get away from me. FREAK!" She stated. Jai walked away from her, *what a strange lady* he thought, collapsing on the kerb. “This, is useless!” Jai muttered to himself. “No, one knows anything, or they just wont tell me!” He finished quietly. Not one to give up however he continued the search. It was a long and exhausting hour, Jai however was getting no where. That is, until he heared a shriek from down the street. Jai flew towards the cry, as fast as he could. “It must be that monster” Jai muttered.

His flight scared, a lot of the people who could see him. Soon he reached the lady who had cried out for help. She was collapsed on the floor her leg seemed broken. It seemed terribly painful.

"Are you okay, ma'am?" asked Jai.

"This monster tried to attack me. He tried to take my bag, but I managed to keep it away from him. I can't feel my leg though. I think he broke it."

Jai looked shocked, horrified even. *There shouldn't be people like this. Are there even people THIS evil?* he thought.

“Hey, please use my phone, It's in my pocket. Call 9-1-1 NOW” She asked, with clear groans of pain. Jai did as he was told reaching into her pocket, he removed her cell phone. Jai dialled in the numbers, then called them.

"There's a woman here, in West City. The main street, she's really hurt, I think her leg is broken. Come now please." he said through the phone.

and with that done Jai ran off to catch up with the thief. It's only a matter of time before he learns stealing and hurting others aren't okay. Fuelled by anger, he will find the monster and make it pay for it's crimes.

Jai continued running following the chaos. Still chasing after the criminal. A grin shines brightly on his face. While running at almost ten times normal speed he says to himself, *I should give the thing a chance. But, if he tries anything I will have too...* He thought, angrily. Cursed monster gives us aliens a really bad name.

Jai gasped, in shock. He quickly covered his mouth with his left hand. Did he really just think that? It seems that his Saiyan tendencies are a lot more prominent now, that he knows a little more of his herittage. It must really be his half Saiyan nature. He was born with the genetics of a proud warrior race. They were also pretty destructive. Which explains his desire to destroy anything, and everything in his path until there is nothing left. But, Jai was also part human so he doesn't want to do that. While born an alien, he has been raised and taught to live life like a human. He was taught to ignore and push away his genetic predispositions to love the thrill of destruction. But a question remains:

Why is it showing now? Why hasn't it showed before so prominently?

With a sigh, Jai ignored that question and continues running. He finally reached his target. For he could see a green figure still running towards the fields.

"STOP NOW!" demands Jai.

The green figure sensed someone behinds him, and comes to a stop. He turns around, and looks back and faces Jai. He walks back until they're at a foot's length from each other.

"Who are you?" questions the green skinned monster.

"The real question here is, who are YOU and why are you robbing and hurting people around here?" Jai asked.

A smirk escapes the monster's face. "I don't see how it's any of your business. Now I would suggest that you leave before I decide to rob you myself."

Jai's anger began to boil up within him. His muscles grow and his hand balls up into fists. He tries to look for a different solution to fighting. He tries to find any other solution. If he fights, he'll just give in to his instincts, and the beast within him has won.

"How about we make a wager," suggested Jai. "We have a race from here to the end of the farm, and back to this spot. If you win, I'll leave, If I win you give me everything you have stolen so I can return it!" Jai shouted at the monster.

"YOU FOOL," insults the monster. "I am Sorsu! I am an alien! I have a speed that's faster than ANY human. Now please enlighten me to why I should agree to this so called challenge."

"Okay, then. You can kill me if you win!" Jai responded to Sorsu. "I won't put up any kind of a fight," Jai told him.

Sorsu laughed. "Of course not. You're human."

*Mistake Number One.* thought Jai.

"I accept."

*Mistake Number Two.* thought Jai.

"Excellent," smiles Jai Let's begin."

And so the race has begun. Both Jai and Sorsu dash towards the end of the farm. Having walked through this area from time to time, Jai knew it was only about a couple miles. It's not too long at all. Jai looked over at Sorsu who is more of less at around the same pace at him.

"Oh wow, you're pretty quick," Jai comments, trying to contain the sarcasm.

Sorsu laughs. "You think that's bad. Here's me at FULL SPEED."

And with that Sorsu's speed doubles and gets about a four second lead, from Jai who was not fully trying yet. For he had a secret plan. At around this time, Jai and Sorsu passes the merchant, who was collapsed on the wall resting. “Don't worry you'll have you stuff back soon!” Jai shouted as he passed the man..

"Why?.. What is he doing with the man who stole my stuff!" asked the merchant as his mouth dropped to the floor. With, that Sorsu gets to the end of the farm, and quickly turns around for the last part of the race. He finds Jai and they yell towards each other from far away, their distance decreasing.

"I've won." Sorsu stated.

"Not yet. I've been holding out." Jai told him.

"WHAT?!” echoed the monster.

And with that, Jai dives into the sky, power flying. His speed exponentially increased. Within a second, he gets to the end, turns around and meets Sorsu.

“Ho-how can you d-do this?! No human can! Fly. This is a primitive race from the dark ages” accuses Sorsu.

"I've never said I was human,” admits Jai. As, he crosses the finish line back to where they started.
Jai then returns to find Sorsu with his hands on his knees, breathing heavily.

"Not fair. YOU CHEATED," accuses Sorsu once more.

"The rules were whoever gets to the end of the farm and back here first wins. I've done that. I did not need to tell you my life story," Jai explains. "Now I think I earn the things you stole. Fair is fair."

"I'd rather kill you first." threatens Sorsu,

*Mistake Number Three.* thought Jai.

Jai quickly begins to power up, he enables the monster to sense his energy “Impossible it's over 8,000. Okay, okay you win. Here take them” the monster stated as he passed Jai the items he had looted.

Jai strolled casually back towards the merchant maintaining sad glances at the destroyed field. “Maybe, I shouldn't of just let him go! I mean look at this place its completely ruined how are the farmers going to live and feed West city citizens?” Jai muttered.

Eventually, Jai reached the old man, who seemed to still be in shock as to what had just occurred. “Oi, how were you flying?” he asked. Jai chuckled, “Wow, that's a welcome back?” Jai stated, sarcastically. As, he gave another quick chuckle.

“Oh, sure. Your sarcasms not the best by the way. But, yeah welcome back and thank you so much for beating that creep and getting my things back” The old man stated.

Jai nodded, “sure, no problem” Jai answered back, whilst he passed the old man. The old man paused a minute. “though would you mind answering a few questions for me?” The old guy stated.

“Err, sure” Jai replied stroking the back of his neck.

“What were yoou doing with the monster and how were you flying?” The old man asked.

“I was racing him to the end of the farm and back. I didn't want to have to fight him if I didn't have to” he stated.

“Well I guess that explains everthing.” The old man looked at the man who had got his stuff back and all the items that were now returned. “Hey, I can't take all of these why don't you take +400 zeni and a Senzu Bean?” The old man suggested.

“Sure, why thank you. I don't mean to be a pain but could I take the magazine? I've got this friend called Master Roshi he lives on a Island far away from people and It's the only enjoyment he gets” Jai stated. “Here then” the old man passed Jai the magazine.
