Bonus: +55 all stats, +8sp, +1 free Roshi taught technique
Available: Always
Requirement: Must have trained with Master Roshi for 2 weeks and must be under 15,000 PL.
Description:
Master Roshi has taken you under his wing. After training with him for awhile he gives you his trial. It will be an intense mental and physical gauntlet. Only his best students have survived!

"Hai-yah!!" Punching against the water at the end of the day was one of Krillin's ways of testing himself to see how far he has gone with his training for the day. He always managed to somehow get the same result, as if he wasn't getting any stronger for the air pressure sent along with the direct punch always showed the same distance upon the water, no matter how much the human was training with weighted clothing. Recently, he also managed to somehow pull off the Ki Blast a bit better than he used to around a week ago - focusing mainly on that for the moment, for if he won't be able to perform the blast he might get in danger. That blast back then used on Akkio Jr. wasn't so powerful either, but that worked to the bald one's advantage for he didn't actually mean to kill his opponent although they, unlike him, had intentions of doing so with great joy. Just his luck to manage to get away although his power wasn't as high as his opponent's... Not when they were engulfed by that weird spell thing, at least. It looked like the two trained for a while, the reason why the opposing criminal managed to get used to his strengthened body in less than a split second, functioning as if normal.

"Phew... That should do it for the day." It was a beautiful gaze, looking at the sea. The orange skies were reflected along with the indigo-colored clouds on the water's shining surface, the sun located in the exact middle where it's reflection in the water might look as if completing the other half of the sun, making it look like the big ball of gas and fire was actually getting inside the sea like small children are told. Looking at the sunset like that after consecutive weeks of training really does pay off mainly due to this kind of sight isn't been normally seen by ordinary people, but is rarely found and pictured by lucky guys who got to see it. Only looking at that art-like sight of the distance made the human calm after his training. He happily returned into his small residence along with the other students of Master Roshi, were on training island was the place where everybody sleeps, although sleeping in the wild and hunting your own food with dinosaurs running loose in the desert was a much better idea of a training session. On the other hand, that kind of style didn't match Roshi at all, leaving his students to survive in the wilderness all by themselves when they can actually be taught martial arts while wearing incredibly heavy turtle shells.

Returning back to the residence where on training island Master Roshi allowed his students to sleep for the convenience although it's about training, Krillin and the other pupils were about to have dinner while talking about today's events and some other small talk that doesn't really interest anybody but them (currently). On his way towards the small apartment he noticed nobody was outside, nothing too important to take notice to. The bird's were flocking above his head in an arrow shape noting their traveling season has began, just as well as this human's training session has. Once he arrived at the house after walking a bit he couldn't help but notice the obvious - the door was somehow half-open. Thinking it might be odd for no noise at all came out of the building while the door let anybody who came close listen to what was inside, Krillin began to suspect that something fishy was going on with this. Maybe he should have got in the house slower than he thought he should at first, simply busting in and catching however's inside by surprise unless they're experienced enough to hide on the ceiling.

"Hold it right there!!" He burst inside anyway. Not caring at all whenever there's someone with a bazooka inside prepared to shoot the head off from the bald warrior or whenever nobody was there and the other guys were just planning to have a small prank on the guy, he burst inside the house, pushing the doors powerfully to allow himself have a good entrance into the building. When pushing the doors powerfully, the human looked inside to see what exactly it was that he was missing, and apparently nothing was seen there. The building was just the exact way the pupils left it when they went training, regardless of the fact the entire space had no living organism located inside... Except for one single Ki level the human fighter managed to locate in those few moments he looked inside. His back felt the last moments of heat from the sun for that day while his front was facing the inside of the house, feeling the chilly atmosphere. Inside the modeled rock was lurking some kind of Ki, hidden from most sensors but still noticeable for the next few seconds clearly stated he was there.

"You're finally here."

Well. This surely couldn't have been foresaw, that's for sure. Inside the building in which the pupils were supposed to stay waited no other than the great master himself, Master Roshi, sitting on a certain pillow looking all serious as he was holding a pipe which looked like he smoked from only a moment ago. A somehow odd and awkward moment for Krillin, who did expect for a thief or a murderer or something but instead got something he never thought he'll receive so soon. "You're probably wondering where is everybody." He said, presuming correctly that's what he was thinking. It was actually all written on the short one's face, simply looking into the dark room while thinking to himself why is it that this day has to be so different from the others (not that it's a bad thing, but only a little creepy). "Uhh, yeah. Where are they master?" The human asked, not thinking too much about anything else right now. The fatigue caused by his training so far was completely forgotten for this small moment occurring and distracting him from anything else, with his master ready to give out the answer and also the new event in the short human's life (referring to Krillin, knowing both are short).

The old man took in another inhaling from the pipe and exhaled the smoke caused. His words were about to be very valuable to this young human, although most of time his reason for even speaking with this guy was for perverted manners or some woman issues. Krillin never took his advice anyway, though. "They're all still training... To defeat you that is." At the shock of what he just heard, the human tried not overreacting to what the old man just said. If they're all training to beat Krillin that means he's currently the strongest pupil of Roshi in the group he was put into at the moment, such an amazing achievement. "But, hold on. Why would they want to defeat me?" What his master suddenly came up with to say was incredibly confusing for this warrior's mind. He thought of so many reasons as for why would he be wanted defeated amongst the pupils of Roshi, non of them being the correct answer. Of course, feeling all high and mighty after coming up with that conclusion was obviously needed and so happened, notable in the tone he asked his question (though mixed with confusion).

The old teacher looked at his student, giving out the answer to his question. "For your trial has began." This was a complete confusing phrase for the pupil. Not only they're training to defeat him, but now he has to take some kind of trial, an exam, in which they're possibly involved in, the reason for why would they train to beat him. Suddenly, his superior feeling faded away as he then understood that maybe he isn't the strongest Roshi student in the group he was put into, as if they're training to beat him alone means he's the strongest but if they're training because they were told to it's an entirely different story. Not so nice to hear after such confidence in a single moment. "Your trial will end in 5 days." The old man continued. It's been rumored around the newbies of Master Roshi that an advanced pupil takes a certain trial, something like a graduation exam once he's ready for it. Nobody tells him when he's going to take it nor does he decides so, but the old, perverted man which also decides on what the exam is going to be about. It wasn't known to anybody but the test wasn't specific: it was a certain idea that the old man came up with especially for the specific pupil going to pass it, or fail it.

"Your entire first day was wasted upon training, which I have to say isn't that bad... But you could have used it to try passing one of your obstacles." The exam got harder to understand with every random piece the master gave out, but in the end it was completely clear for the human warrior to understand - gladly taking in the task he will have to pass. "The total pupils are 6 at number excluding you. Until 5 days from today you will have to pass through their way on this very island. Beware, for you have to win in a decent fight against them according to their rules - whenever you come to them or when they catch you by surprise. No one is currently in this building or area, as you can see, but their placement isn't set either. You will have to chase some of them, while the rest will wait for your arrival in the same place." With this, it was all clear. Krillin has now known what he must do to pass this certain quest, with 6 pupils awaiting his arrival. The old man never explained the examination fully, for several traps were on the island all waiting to fail the young human. "I see... So, it's at least 2 on the last day. I won't fail you master!!" All excited, the human dashed away in search for his first opponent on the island. He didn't know though, that the test involved fighting against one of his heroes as well, ironically.

And so the first exam began. Not knowing if he was going to be informed if he's going to be informed if he has defeated a pupil or not, or if he has passed their part or not - he rushed forward in search for his first opponent without knowing the exam has already began, and some of the parts were going to be incredibly hard. While trying to search for an opponent on land while rushing around the island he noticed something was quite different: many new animals were found, all were somehow preparing to attack the human at any chance they received to attempt. This was somehow very weird, there hasn't been so many animals and beasts on this island since... Ever since Krillin started training there, and he really did explore every single corner of the island except for those which seem to be crazy to search for, in order to seek out the best way of keeping in shape and improving himself for further battles just like this one. The stress that was struck upon the human was really hard to deal with: it's not everyday your master tells you to go and defeat your other mates before they kill you. Thinking of the fact he has to beat up his other teammates in their own battlefield alone was already making it hard for the human, but it was also a motive to help him get over the fact he might just be too weak for them all. Plus, there's always the possibility that he'll be ambushed by all of them together on a certain day.

"Gosh, this is hard... When exactly are they going to show up?" He asked himself as he was still scouting around the island, searching desperately for an opponent. He wanted to get this exam over with as soon as he can, for him being that scarred didn't help at all to the process of the test. The search for the opponent was going to end soon enough, once he was going to find one of the pupils he got close to during one of his previous adventures, the one in the desert. Oddly though, his first part in taking the exam wasn't as predictable as he thought, knowing he won't have to simply fight the opponent's one on one with no advantages to any of them. The one he was about to meet up with was Kora, a certain pupil who had trouble with a certain desert gang a bit long ago since Krillin helped him out with the delivery. The man waited for the arrival of Krillin until he got there a few minutes after leaving the house, not doing anything but meditating as he began sensing the tested pupil's Ki approaching near. This was about to turn into a great fight for both of them, for as soon as the human reached his first tester, a certain dinosaur approached with the two prepared to shake it off from their tail in order to complete their own quest. "Hey, we're in the middle of something, so why don't you just... Buzz off!!" With that, a massive punch was delivered to the dinosaur's lower jaw, making it faint immediately.

"... You're finally here.

The two glared stared at each other for a small while. Krillin and Kora, ever since the desert incident, had their own fashion of setting things up in their own battle, which is why the first exam was the most obvious for the tested. Kora wanted his friend to pass this test easily, but he was ordered by his master to go serious against the tested one for if he won't then he won't be able to remain a pupil under Roshi. Yes, the exam apparently was that much serious. Without further warning, the two human fighters rushed towards each with their forearm faced towards the other. They clashed together in a powerful sound and performing a struggle, Kora then prepared a punch towards Krillin's stomach, the opposing human blocking with his knee raised. The forearms were kept in contact as well as the knee and punch struggling. Krillin prepared his hand and performed a karate chop to Kora's forehead, blocked by the opposing fighter's leg which was raised incredibly high. He was almost off balance. With the least of time he had left, Krillin used his superior current balance and pushed Kora to the direction of his remaining feet on the ground, managing to do so while still in contact. Kora was taken off balance and fell to the ground. With two single words, Krillin's day became a lot better. "You passed."

Such heavy strain released, knowing he has now defeated 1 out of 6 opponents he will be facing. Then again, the first challenge was an easy one for the advantage given to Krillin was enormous, first of all knowing what he's going to be tested over and second of all doing that several times now to the point he's well trained in it. Kora stood up and congratulated his fellow pupil on his successive attempt to pass the first exam. "You really pulled out that one... But it's just to be expected, isn't it. Well, good job! Tonight you might get a good rest if you're not ambushed... Well, your next test should be with Bomber, so beware." With those words remarked and ready to be taken into mind, Krillin bowed before his comrade and continued his rush. It wasn't that long before him and Bomber crossed their faces, but not for real. Bomber was known to fight with his mind, and not his body, thus this part of the test was incredibly hard, judging by the fact 7 Bombers were standing right in-front of Krillin.

What a bad way to start an exam your training depends on.

This test was quite unclear. Krillin never expected that the fact he'll try assaulting the wrong Bomber will result in him going through a high-level military trap field, only improved to the level of incredibly large explosions infused with Bomber's inventions and Ki with each trap placed in the ground, even if it's just a net. The test was to see if Krillin has enough luck to survive when his chances in guessing are incredibly slim, basically because in his current state he had no way of guessing correctly who really is the real Bomber standing in-front of him. Taking a quick, lucky guess he tried assaulting the Bomber standing 4th from the right. The illusion disappeared upon being touched as well as the rest of the illusionary human except for the real one which jumped back and pulled the trigger to shoot Krillin in the head, knocking him to the area where all the mines were located. Hell on earth was about to begin, as being able to see exactly where the mines are located according to the small dots on the ground, the human had to watch his steps so he won't make them explode. As he fell down due to being shot at the head but not pierced for his body managed to hold himself alive even in that, Krillin saw himself coming close to a single spot which will trigger a large explosion, probably causing him to fail.

The human managed to jump and perform a flip, just to be shot at the stomach and lose his balance. This bullet apparently was the kind to pack less power and more speed, shot in order to push Krillin into a corner with a mine in it. Such a heavy set up in only a single day, and such perfect camouflage to paralyze the opponent - as expected from a war genius such as Bomber. "You're not leaving this place without a scratch at least. You either step on the right one and pass, or step on any other one and fail for a massive explosion that would kill you right away!!" Bomber wasn't a fighter, he was a tactician with great skills and a high Ki amount that allowed him to have his explosives and shooting weapons more effective in any kind of battle, even a one-on-one. His method of fighting was allowing himself to be the decoy in order for his plans to work, for he has those illusion tricks as well he used on the human fighter to make him enter the hard phrase of his exam. Krillin's test was a pure luck test, to see which mine is the lone one that will make the least damage, but from what it looks like from his point of view all the black spots seem to be similar in size and distance from one another. This means if he pushes one, all of them are going to explode. The only way to pass this test is to somehow find a way to think out of the box completely or to make Bomber tell him where the key mine is. But for the moment, he found himself falling upon one of the mines prepared to step between them only to be shot again.

Krillin was falling on one of the black spots on the ground, about to make it explode. The purpose of this test was to see if he gets all the damage - or the least of damage from the powerful explosions, and thus, still being unsure of where the correct mine is the human used his finger to balance himself on the ground barely, then jumping from it to the air and being shot again, spinning in the air due to the force of the bullet. Bomber charged another bullet and was prepared to shoot again at the human fighter which was having a terrifyingly hard time to even survive this, being afraid of the test himself in general, and this part not easing it up at all. He managed to somehow land on his feet, away from the mine just to be shot at his ankle by a speedy bullet that made him trip. The dizziness he received from the rapid spin just a moment ago didn't let him try balancing again, and he tripped down on one of the mines. It was then activated. Being stressed, Krillin immediately jumped as high as he could, with the explosion's boom following. All the mines exploded following the activation of one, speeding up and gaining on the human fighter. Bomber was safe for some reason, hiding in a certain spot. It was probably just a coincidence, but using instinct the warrior let out his fiery breath, with full force.

The old saying 'fight fire with fire' came in special use here. It was probably a miracle, but he survived this explosion with minimal damage: no damage at all except for fatigue from shooting out the fire breath. Once all the smoke cleared, Krillin landed on the ground barely standing from the pressure. Bomber went out of his hiding place, clapping his hands in response to the human's action. "Congratulations, you pass!! I didn't actually think you could go through this with minimal damage, I was actually thinking of the mine hidden in the tree branch. It's alone and has minimal gunpowder, thus the explosion won't hurt almost at all! Anyway, I guarantee - your next test is going to be a lot harder. You're going to have to survive underwater." So the tester said.

And so was. At night, Krillin was assaulted by a certain shadow which woke him up and dragged him into the water's surface, beginning his 3rd test already. It was completely dark and he couldn't breath, but those were the conditions of this part: winning an all-out match against a pupil and hit pet shark underwater, without being defeated or pounded too badly. The rules: no flying, ki attacks however are still accessible and are okay. Also, if you kill your opponent, even one of them, you're disqualified. That is why to win this match, Krillin had to be extremely careful.

"Let's get this on.

Krillin's test under the water was the hardest one he faced amongst the tests he faced until he got to the final phase in his trial. Defeating Chakka and his pet shark was done by simply awaiting them to attack and making them tire themselves, then attack to end things there. The lack of oxygen under the water and the difficulty of moving made it harder for the human fighter to even attack, or attempt a certain move. After the underwater, Krillin was demanded a test of determination in a certain sports game against two challengers at once which played on extremely high poles they built themselves from the trees they cut down. Passing this test was done by simply using one of them as a spring board, thus making him fall to the ground while the warrior remains in the air. The 6th challenger, however, was nothing like the previous students who just roamed around the island in search for creative ways to defeat Krillin. It has been three days since the exam started, and the final challenger soon appeared, only hidden to the man's mind. "So, you've managed to defeat 5 of the challengers already! That's an impressive outcome, especially since you started a little late..." The old man said, seeing as how his pupil is coming along. "Yes master Roshi! I've been completing their tasks one after the other! I'm starting to think this isn't going to be so hard after all!!" But he hooked the bear on this one. The final pupil was going to be a lot harder to pass than find, but finding him alone will take nearly an entire day.

Master Roshi laughed a little, looking at his student who has gained such high motivation to pass this trial while three days ago he was shaking without stopping only by hearing the word 'exam'. "Oh, really? Well that's nice. Good luck on the final one Krillin!" With that, the old master left the area. And so, searching for the way to end this test, Krillin scouted around the island in search for his final challenger, the 6th pupil. He ran around the entire island for as long as he searched for that tester, for if he won't be able to find him he wouldn't be able to pass the test successfully and that would be terribly shameful. He searched all day long from the moment he woke up, looking in every corner of the island, even those he visited but oddly the challenger wasn't there. Krillin even bothered searching at the bottom of the island, where the water's force is carrying the big block of land. It was simply pointless, he couldn't find him. It then occurred to the bald human that what he's searching for might not really be so easy to locate. He stopped for a moment, found a good spot to sit on and meditated, thinking of what exactly and where should he be searching for the 6th pupil. He found the answer after not more than 3 hours, when the fourth day was about to reach it's end.

"Master, I need to talk to you for a second." He said as he approached his master which was sitting inside the building where the pupils were supposed to sleep. Asking what would it be in response to the short warrior's request, Krillin began to explain what he thought might be it. "You are the 6th challenger. I thought about it, and because you were once a pupil yourself you'd be considered a pupil on this island besides the previous 5 testers and me. That's why, you're the one I have to pass to get this trial done." Easy enough, Krillin came up with the answer that earned him an immediate punch to the face that sent him flying a few meters away, only to stop himself using his flight technique.

"Well, you're on to it! But let me tell you. This final test has no rules. You can use whatever you want to pass, but only I say when it's over! Now, come at me with everything you have!!"

Without a further single word, the two humans began their fight to see if the main character in this story gets to pass the hard test he was given. "Hiyaah!!" Rushing towards the opponent, Krillin tried to get in the first strike without wasting his Ki rapidly on the first shot. Charging in with a kick to the old man's face, the opposing fighter simply ducked once the kick was about to hit, raising up with a jump that tackled with the bald warrior's body before he managed to slip in another kick that might give him a good chance. Before he noticed this, Krillin was in the air, with Master Roshi jumping up to attack him. In an instant a grappling began and ended with the 'hero' losing his match. He fell to his knees only to be sensin his master preparing a new attack. Quickly rising up in response to the Ki signal, the short human charged towards his master as fast as he could. "Haa!!" Out of nowhere, an enormous blue wave of energy came approaching the human. This is what it really meant having a Ki Blast that you could use to destroy your opponents; it was the Turtle School's secret Ki technique: the Kamehameha wave. Amazed from the power that was approaching him, the human could barely manage to sweep next to it with only his arm burned due to the impact.

That thing just then, that blue wave, it wasn't anything Krillin has ever seen in his life. It wasn't similar in any way possible to the Ki Blast the other pupils of his group were working on, neither did it seem to be at a similar signal or destructive power. The human was struck with a great shock, preventing him from doing anything to the master, giving the old geezer a free hit. "Don't let your guard down!!" He shouted as suddenly a powerful hit landed upon the man's face. Master Roshi punched him directly, sending him flying towards the Kamehameha wave which exploded behind him - finally taking him out of that shock. The human focused his Ki in his lungs and shot out a fiery breath which Roshi easily managed to avoid. Krillin approached his old master rapidly closing in on him, the old man doing the same thing. When close enough the man kicked the ground powerfully causing a wall of sand to rise in-front of the old man but even this plan was pointless. As Krillin rapidly began hitting the sand to strike his old man Master Roshi predicted every move done by the pupil and easily managed to deflect and avoid any hit that came his way. The human finished with a camouflage move, using the sand strike and sending in a kick right behind it, the master blocking it with both arms and throwing Krillin out of the way.

"Hehe... Finally. Detonate!!" With the key word shouted, the activation of the Dynamite Kick came into effect and the old man's arms exploded immediately. What the human was aiming for all along was to get a clean hit, or at least a touch on his opponent's body. Seeing as Krillin did accomplish his goal - which turned out not being the defeating of his master but the single touch, he raised his bleeding arm. "... Fine, I give up!... Gosh, you brats might really wear me out one day..."

The human fighter was filled with joy upon hearing those words. He successfully passed the exam he was given although it was that hard to accomplish. All that stress building up in his body suddenly disappeared for relief came in for the replacement. He was incredibly happy. "Congratulations Krillin, you've passed the trial. Now, I think it's time..."

"To teach you the secret move."
