Sun Stones Difficulty: Hard Quest Description: Dr. Hemin has called upon a powerful warrior to help him create four sun stones. He shows you the blank rocks that are the size of a soft ball and then explains how to create them. He hands you a ley energy tracker and sends you off to find the perfect mountain peak. You must find the perfect balance of spiritual energy and light to forge the stone. The reason he needs you to do it is because when a sun stone is created its power opens up a dimensional rift... You're to stop what comes through before it harms anyone or anything. Reward: +1,000 zeni, +6 DP, +40 all stats, +6 Rp Credits Bonus: Solarweave Cloak - Equipped on the body. Amplifies training by +16 all stats (+64 ki, 128 pl) Available: Always Special: Must be over 3,000 PL to take this quest. Must be neutral or good alignment. It was a few centuries ago that the discovery was made, the one that created a lot of massive damage upon that fighter's body which only wanted to test out the doctor's new invention. The discovery of the round stone, oddly being completely round with no cracks around it or any signs that it was damaged, and yet it was found under the ground near the ancient, near-dead bones of a baby dinosaur. At first, the scientists were all convinced that this stone was a part of the dinosaur's bones and as it grows up it becomes a part of its skull but that explanation was declined by experts which all said that the theory is impossible and such a large stone compared to the size of the skull of the fossil that isn't even made of the same material as the bones are cannot ever be considered a part of a living creature's body, especially not from this type. Then what exactly was this stone anyway? Nobody ever discovered at the time the first one was discovered, at the very least, and due to lack of knowledge and the ability to imagine the unthinkable - the topic was left open ever since the first was found and was never returned to or referred to by the modern scientists. Instead, the useful Hoi-Poi capsules were made. And yet, the discovery of these stones returned from time to time by different kinds of people who happened to dig and find some ancient artifacts. One was found near West City, one was found in the depths of Diablo Desert, one was even found at the bottom of the sea using a submarine to dig and look around. All the stones looked exactly identical: all were completely round, resembling a perfect circle's shape in every way but for their color. All were completely bleached, so white if you'd have put them on a blank paper you couldn't have noticed them if they had no shadows. All were at the same size, noting the unique form of them all - round, white and evenly sized, as if they were of the same part before and split into parts in equal parts. All also weighted the same weight, just like the mysterious Dragon Balls. The stones' research was left open after several experiments and checks were done on the stone, only to figure out they were of the same material as the other, but were of a different matter than the normal stones or any kind of gem known to man. Chemists tried researching their matter but failed to take a part of it for examination. It was also too big for a microscope, and due to lack of ways to research and determination their examination was stopped. However, one man never let his eyes off the stones' subject. He always wanted to try and figure out what exactly are these stones and why are they unbreakable, white, evenly sized, round and even more - identical. The man's name was Dr. Schwartz Hemin. Dr. Schwartz Hemin, an old man around the age of 65, being one of the men who took place in the start of the research after the mysterious stones was different from the rest of the scientist in the way he always set his sights on the impossible. Using modern technology but cunning ways of using them he managed to locate the Lochness Monster, Nessie, but hasn't told anybody about it. With his unique way of inventing and questionable improvising actions he also managed to discover the famous Yeti, or more like the closest thing to the abnormal snowman at least. He was special, a gifted person with a mind of a genius when it comes to survival alone. But, his mind took several damages from past encounters which leaved a mark on him for this day: being one of the contestants for one of the greatest scientists ever, participating in the festival to show his latest invention he came there with a serious look on his face, announcing for all to hear 'I have nothing'. He was also known to meet many kinds of mistakes and failures during his research sessions and only managed to create a capsule that could store multiple items and objects by a year after even thinking about the concept, not to mention he had his own team of men that helped him out on whatever he tried. And so, searching after the mysterious stones discovered in 4 places so far, the man looked in many books in different libraries in search for any kind of information about those mysterious things and eventually managed to find something, but it wasn't easy to come by. The item he had been researching on, as what he knew from what he took was called a "Sun Stone", a stone seemingly by legends given by the ancient sun. Finding the topic even more interesting than before for successfully finding a piece of valuable information, the doctor continued his search about the 'Sun Stones'. For over a month of only looking through the ancient history books and the one telling about different legends, those which humanity rejected already, Hemin spent his time in search for information. He began thinking this all was pretty pointless, but couldn't give up on the chance of discovering what appears to be a distinct legend as a real event and so, he kept on searching, until he came across a certain book with missing pages in some library in a different country. Luckily, the pages missing weren't about the Sun Stones. In the book, the doctor could find all sorts of special information that allowed him to examine the rocks form a different angle. Upon seeing what is needed and what the stones are for, he decided to hire a certain helper that could help him on his quest to discover the truth about the Sun Stones. Post WC: 480. Total WC: 985. |

Later on, the doctor made several posters saying he's searching for a highly powerful warrior that is capable of withstanding long sessions of working. The reason he asked for a warrior and not a worker was for the process of making the Sun Stones activate their mysterious hidden truth was going to require high strength, one of those that could be considered super human or even stronger than a powerful Liger. That is why, the only two reasonable places he will have to turn to will be either the Turtle School For Martial Arts or the Crane School For Martial Arts, both being the best rated amongst the styles of martial arts taught to different students. The Crane School was easier to access to, mainly because it was more known than the Turtle School and yet - the first one to notice the posters searching for a helper was a certain student from the Turtle School led by Master Roshi. It was in West City, near Capsule Corporation, ironically, that the pupil saw the posted describing the needed warrior and the doctor's ideal first impression of a warrior that might come to help him out. Thinking science is not the type of subject he'd choose for his primary sidekick job, the pupil went back to wherever he came from to show the poster to his fellow trainees at the island. The poster contained the picture of Dr. Hemin, the ID, name and address of the doctor, the message saying he's searching for a sidekick for this task only, a well-detailed paragraph of an ideal warrior he might be searching for and the standards of the warrior he's seeking out. It was not long at all before the one he was searching for was found but declined. "Yo, Krillin! You here? I've got something to show you!!" On the island where Master Roshi residences, the bald and short human which not so long ago managed to pass the old geezer's trial was sitting to watch TV before resuming his training. After such a good lunch he has to take a small rest, even if he's not really sleeping. The call from the outside summoned him immediately to the surface of the sand, out of the house itself. The certain pupil wasn't into science although having a pet shark, which was somehow quite weird to know. "Yeah, what is it?" He asked in boredom awaiting not long at all for the answer. At Kame House, the two pupils were having a small talk about the poster that one of them managed to find near West City, and thought the opposing human could find this quite an interesting thing. Also a reason to why events happen in the world, a friend brings a friend. "Hey, take a look at this. It's about a crazy doctor looking for a helper about some kind of 'Sun Stone' shit or something, but nothing more is said." Krillin took the paper and ready through to see what the doctor tries to say. The only thing about Sun Stones that was written on the paper was about the topic, 'I need a warrior to help with the Sun Stones'. Most people who are way too addicted to video games would guess this is the kind of stone you use to evolve certain Pogemon into their evolved form. A rather successful game, actually, not half bad and rated 3rd best in funding. The human fighter read the paper carefully, looking at the well-detailed paragraph saying what kind of warrior exactly Dr. Hemin is looking for, finding out something quite disturbing upon reading. "Umm, maybe you haven't noticed this Squerdo, but I don't fit into any of the details the guy put. Don't you think it's strange for me to try it out?" The opposing human, the one who bought the paper looked a bit disappointed. He was hoping for his friend to get all hyped up about it, wanting to go on this and help the doctor with his task. Pouting, the man replied with a rather stingy comment. "Wait, so you don't even like it? Why did I even bother to get the paper anyway! Advertisement just doesn't work today..." This kind of comment was more than enough to convince Krillin into going to this Doctor Schwartz Hemin guy and try help him out, but he had to get the situation to a worst state. He wasn't so good with arguing with his friends. "It does interest me, but I don't see how would I do that with my status." Still pouting, the man replied. "Oh well, guess I'd just go and do it myself then. I was hoping you'd be a bit more happy, but you just love to ruin it for me, don't you." With that, the bald, short warrior was completely convinced. He felt bad for 'ruining it' to the shark-raising pupil and jumped on the opportunity like a wild boar right away. "I'll do it! You just wait and see!!" Works like magic. Post WC: 427. Total WC: 1,820. |

Squerdo, the pupil that bought the paper over there was quite satisfied with how things turned out even if he had to use his bending abilities in a way. To begin with, the man was quite the convincing type, being highly charismatic and holds the capability of staying calm in every situation unless his pet shark is under attack. After that there's the fact he was born with the superior ability to breath underwater, something no one else ever dreamed of having (even if he has to go out of the water to take some air from time to time like a fish). Convincing Krillin into going to the doctor and doing this entire Sun Stone thing was a complete piece of cake for him. In no time the short warrior found himself advancing by using his flight towards the address given on the paper with full speed, thinking of nothing else but imagining how would this quest look like. For instance, he thought the Sun Stone could be a large stone at the shape reminding of a sun, simply a ball with several horns coming out of it to give the feeling that it's actually rays. As he made his way, Krillin could see the water under him moving with him as he created trails behind of himself as he flew above the water's surface though close to it. Maybe if he has decided to try doing it under the water itself it could have been much cooler. Flying around like this on his free time was one of Krillin's hobbies. If he happened to finish training for the day and his job wasn't on for that day he was just practicing his ability to manipulate his Ki by just flying around the cities or above the sea. He didn't like flying in a complicated manner like rapid zigzag and preferred to fly straight as if he was driving a Harley motorbike on the long roads that never seem to end. It's really great, but someone like him which doesn't really have a driver's license yet can't do that unless he manages in a miracle to steal one of the bikes at the parking area - even if they weren't that type. The human made his way towards the doctor's place, not noticing at all that he was using his full speed. Perhaps this is what happens when you're tempted to go beyond your very limits. Post WC: 405. The location of the lab was located oddly not anywhere near West City, something that made the flying human think how did he even get there to put the posters and messages. Plus, Capsule Corporation was even further away from there. The lab Krillin was currently heading towards was located near Nadaty Village, a farmer village with an upset priest that continues to repeat the same rumor about the monster that lives on top of the volcano that would eventually come down to the surface and destroy everything the farmers worked for. Dr. Hemin's lab was unique in the way it was built underground, with a little help from governmental sources and organizations that agreed to help with with pleasure. It was 20 meters underground in it's deepest part but still contained enough oxygen to breath and enough reception for radios to report or cellphones to work as if they were on the outside ground itself. In addition, it contained many kinds of chemical objects such as a special powder or a new liquid, chemicals of the kind nobody else has. This would be probably due to his secretive way of working, not telling any of his fellow scientists and inventors about his latest discoveries or his current research subject - the Sun Stones being the only one for it was obvious he had interest in that, according to the locals at least. All that quite surprised Krillin, for he couldn't locate the correct address (being wrote "Go to Nadaty Village and walk 67 steps to the northeast. I'll see you there."), so he began the walking. Never would he have thought of it though, the steps were about to end in a very flashy show for the short warrior. Once he finished 67 steps towards the northeast (after asking one of the villagers where exactly is the northeast) Krillin could fell the ground under him getting softer. Thinking it strange he used his flight to hover above it but then a powerful stream of air pressure vacuumed him into what looks like a tunnel. Being unable to concentrate well on his Ki for the sudden surprise, Krillin screamed as he was sliding down a flashy tunnel of metal - only to be dropped on a very fluffy mattress. It was rather fun when you think of it, if you're prepared at the very least. The mattress was slightly comfortable, covered in some kind of artificial fur that surprisingly felt as if it was taken from a real animal. Dr. Hemin was on the other side of the room, working on something and turning towards the mattress as soon as the human made the sound of the fall. The short warrior looked at the weird-looking doctor as so the man in-front looked at the weird-proportioned fighter. What most caught the fighter's attention was the doctor's hat whilst the doctor noticed the bald head first. "You're the guy I hired, I guess... Kinda weird, way different than I expected. Oh well, let's begin." What a great comment to start the session. Post WC: 508. Total WC: 2,733. |

With the sudden change of environment Krillin found himself in Dr. Schwartz Hemin's lab, with his head facing the tunnel he just came in from and his body being nearly paralyzed for the fluffy mattress beneath him made it quite hard to stand up. A way to get out of this situation would be most likely flying, but a human hovering in the air even for a small amount of time would look pretty weird to normal people like Dr. Hemin. Thinking of a different way that might work, the human used the strength of his arms to stand up - so he planned at least. Trying to perform a jump from his hands into the standing position, the mattress didn't allow him to flip to his directed side so easily and it resulted in a sudden back roll, against the wall with the human's feet. What an awkward situation, the doctor must think the one he hired was a complete weirdo. Even if he waited long enough, the doctor never bothered to give out a comment about this new man entering his space, Krillin only later figuring out why was it like that. Opening his eyes after closing them due to the roll, Krillin then stood up using his hands to balance first and his legs to stand up. He took a glance at the new surroundings, shocked by where he actually is. After taking a look at everything there was to notice at first sight at the lab, he turned his look towards the doctor and noticed he was still doing something on his desk. "Ummm, Doctor Hemin...? My name's Krillin, I'm here to help on your Sun Stone research." Swiftly, the doctor turned to the human holding one of the stones. Krillin took it from his hand (with permission obviously, that's what he was meant to do) and examined it, only to figure out it was a white, round rock. Just like every other scientist which looked at it. "This is what you're researching after...?" He asked in misprision. The doctor then went to his bookshelf after letting out a sigh, taking a single book that was facing the outside rather the inside of the shelf with its pages. Looking through the pages, the doctor then showed to Krillin what he found. "Alright, you can begin by reading this." He declared, with his tone remaining serious just like earlier. Post WC: 400. The human fighter was given a strange, large book with an open page by the doctor he was hired by. It was rather alright, though weird in it's own way. The human was requested to read the pages he was given, probably not out loud but only to get the instructions of how the work should be done, according to the doctor he was currently working with. "This book will teach you what you should do in your part of the work. I'll be watching you and helping in every way I can, but please get the job done as well as you can!" Hemin said, going back to whatever he was doing on the desk he was working upon. Out of curiosity, Krillin flew up above Schwartz and looked at whatever he was doing there, only to find out he's testing several chemicals together with hope to get some kind of result. Next to the chemicals he was mixing together was a paper with many things written upon it, looking like it was wrote by hand - noting the doctor made notes as he was studying. It looks like near the paper was one of the blank Sun Stones, in which something was related to since the paper had an arrow pointing towards it. This doctor really was focused on his work, and so Krillin began to gather his determination and start reading from the textbook by himself. "So he's been working too... Alright, here we go." There were only a few pages to read, with a rather large font size and some pictures drawn to show how things work. After a small while, the human fighter took one of the stones and headed to the outside of the lab. In the book it said the stone should react to powerful sunlight if placed in a certain spot in the world, something the doctor probably has noticed and already tried. What Hemin was working on was a certain chemical that will trigger the reaction of the Sun Stone to sunlight, without getting it outside to the perfect spot. The bald human however, holding the book in his hand, decided to search for another process that could lead to the result. "It's got to be around here somewhere..." Heading towards the volcano, the human made his way with the Sun Stone and the textbook in hand. "Looks like I hit the jackpot. I'm almost there!" Post WC: 403. Total WC: 3,536. |

What Krillin was looking for on the volcano were several ingredients that could have come in handy as described in the book given: the volcano's dirt - the white dirt caused by the fuse of gas with the dirt already on the land, a certain plant that only grows on top of the volcano's pit - the Panda Lily, a certain type of insect that feeds on the resin of a type of tree growing several miles away in Silent Owl Forest - Golden Hercules and finally, the resin and leaves of the type of tree that grows there. Getting to the white dirt and the plant was not such a hard job, but gathering them was really hard. To begin with, the land on the volcano is heated up and thus is harder to walk upon - solved by flying. Second of all, the white dirt is mixed with the black dirt of the normal boulders - solved by gathering both types of dirt with the majority of the white, hoping to get a good enough result with what already is. The volcano's plant was growing and inhabiting on the very peek of the mountain, oddly where the heat is at it's best without considering the inside of the mountain and the gas is spread almost everywhere. Krillin had to act quickly for the volcano seemed somehow alive and 'erupted' bursts of lava every time Krillin came closer to the lily. Eventually, the human had to extend his Ki a little bit more than just flying when getting the flower, using his fiery breath to repel the burst of lava away from him. Getting the Golden Hercules from Silent Owl Forest wasn't hard either, but the human didn't get to that part of his work before stopping at the lab to see how the doctor's doing his part. "Dr. Hemin, I've returned. I also bought several ingredients you might find useful." Krillin said as he approached the doctor's desk with the bags containing the dirt and the plant. Hemin turned to the human, smiling as he showed him his current process. "Take a look at that, Krillin! See this!? This is the reaction I've been searching for!!" The Sun Stone was glowing from second to second with a very faint shine. It turned pale gold on each shine and reverted back to it's blank color every time the shine stopped. Looking at the doctor's happy face, the short warrior couldn't help but feeling good for the one he's working with. "Good job!" "With your progress, we only have a little more left to do. Make sure you bring the remaining objects so we could work on the final phase before the search." Post WC: 451. Total WC: 3,987. |

The shine of the Sun Stone in that bright, beautiful golden color was a sign that all the hard work the doctor put into his research has finally began to pay off. Such a nice result like this is probably what the Sun Stones were meant to show when they're about to activate. It was said on the book though, that the four Sun Stones' moment of activation is also the most dangerous moment in their process, and after the danger passes the stones can be used to forge amazing things from a hardened, powerful and steady material. The stone's type of energy was also fire, heat, matching this human's type just fine. The success the stone showed the two work mates filled them with the feeling that this just might end out greatly. With high spirits, the human set out to Silent Owl Forest to get the insect, the resin and the leaves required for his own small test. The experiment Krillin was holding was one that was written in the book, following with several instructions and not something you can just improvise like what that doctor did. When arriving at Silent Owl Forest, the human noticed that the place is actually an enormous castle engulfed with many trees, all of the type the Golden Hercules feeds upon. What was weird though, that non of the insect's specific type was seen when arriving and after walking a bit. For the moment, the human had to settle with getting only what he can so far and while he did so a plan came to his mind. A plan that could lure the Golden Hercules into his hands. Taking the leaves and putting them in a bag different than the one the resin was supposed to be in, Krillin took off a small part of the tree's trunk (slightly small and capable of being peeled) and the resin came out. Not that the resin wasn't leaking out of the tree trunk in the first place, but getting it from the fresh part would be easier. Taking quite an amount of resin, the human put some in the bag and hoped it won't harden by the time he returns, and with the rest of the resin he made a certain trick. The idea came to him when a small fly landed on top of his hand when he got the leaves, a few small drops of resin falling on his hand causing the fly to come to him. The idea was simple, yet effective. Post WC: 421. Total WC: 4,408. |

The trap was all set for the Golden Hercules to appear, all that was left is to wait for the insect to come to the human's range and snatch it right away, the snatching part being the easiest according to Krillin's simulation although he never even heard of this bug before. The plan was the following: the resin of the tree was smeared over the trunk in one spot, causing a powerful aroma coming from it. The trap was made on four trees in the same location, creating an even more powerful smell, so strong that even Krillin's human sense of smell could track it. It didn't take way too long before only a single of the kind appeared before the human, coming to the resin to eat it. Although it was already nighttime, the Golden Hercules' golden body was one of the few that glowed powerfully through some kind of mechanism in the bug's physiology. That was the moment the human jumped into action, using his maximum speed he caught the bug with his hands and stored it in a box. The plan was successful, and now the insects living in Silent Owl Forest will all have a place they can go to feast - for the peeled part of the trunk remained open, having the resin leak more. What Krillin never knew was that the Golden Hercules beetle type was almost extinct, the reason why there was no one single insect of the type that came towards the human in the first place when he gathered the leaves. It was also a very rare kind of insects, the human fighter being extremely lucky to lure out one that happened to be around the area. Perhaps the universe is trying to tell him something, perhaps he's telling him to back off. No one knows yet, but time progresses. Returning to the doctor's lab once again, Krillin began his operation with the doctor asleep. This entire plan took some while, including the traveling part. "Now... It should look a little something like this." The fighter searched the lab's floor for a flashlight or a lamp that could light the book he was about to read from on the instructions and successfully found one without much effort. Opening the book and holding a flashlight to light up the area, Krillin began to read to see how exactly he should act for this process to work. The Sun Stone isn't going to just react mysteriously to those 4 items together. Post WC: 417. Total WC: 4,825. |

Krillin began reading the instructions according to the legend which turned out only a day later to be true, the instructions saying how exactly is the Sun Stone's activation process going to be triggered with the current items the human went out hunting for. It said that the Sun Stone will react to the energy each of the items lets out when near the other items, thus creating a certain series of combination with the objects will result in some radiation that will cause the Sun Stone to react in a way. And so he began to think what possibly could trigger this radiation thing, as the book didn't show exactly what could trigger those items' effect. His first thought was that a certain item he possesses will have the other's radiation work, and thus score 2 birds using 1 stone, but that thought failed once he tried seven possible options, with the four ingredients he has in hand. Another possibility was that all four must be put together in some kind of order, but that failed as well. The human fighter tried thinking about what exactly could this radiation thing be, and how to make it work (not to mention the fact his Golden Hercules kept on running away every time he tried putting it with the other items, resulting in use of the spare resin). He couldn't find a solution with what he already has, making sure the Sun Stone is put near the items every time he tried it out. Eventually, Krillin gave up and fell asleep due to his body being exhausted from staying awake for so long now. Krillin woke up to see Doctor Hemin with the four Sun Stones, waiting for the warrior to wake up. "Finally up, eh?" It was a rather happy tone. When fully opening his eyes, the bald one noticed the older person's face seemed happy as he smiled with his small eyes wide open. "You've done it! The items you searched really did it!!" It appeared as if while Krilin was asleep, Schwartz woke up and began to work with the ingredients given by the human fellow. It made great success, as all the Sun Stones were glowing at the same rate with their golden color notably stronger than the first example the fighter saw. "Wait, so this means..." The doctor nodded in excitement. Feeling of success was filling the short fighter's heart, knowing he did something probably good that ended up not in vain. "We did it!!" He shouted happily as he jumped. "We really did, good job!! I knew hiring someone wouldn't be a bad idea!!" The moment of happiness wasn't short at all, the doctor let the fighter have his moment of satisfaction whilst the warrior let the elder have his smiling ways. "I suppose, now it's time for the final phase." Post WC: 474. Total WC: 5,299. |

Doctor Schwartz Hemin announced the time for the final phase to begin, the same time Krillin planned to show the new friend he attained his ability to manipulate his own Ki to fly or use fiery attacks. "It's time for the final phase to begin. You already read in the book I'd guess, we need to find the perfect peak we can find. It has to contain the best balance between heat and cold and has got to have the best amount of sunlight you can achieve. You'll need to take this helicopter capsule for easier transportation, and whatever you do don't drop the ingredients and the Sun Stones." With that, the doctor was about to send the human away on his journey to find the best mountain peak he could find, but was interrupted by a few small words the fighter gave out to ensure the convenience of the flight. "Actually doctor, I've been hiding this from you for the while now, but... Truth is, I can fly. So I'll just need a single bag and I'll go out." Shocked at the proof given, the two had a small conversation before the human fighter set off to find the perfect mountain peak. The requirements weren't that high and going to the location where the mountain is located wasn't such a hard task either. Wasting his Ki however while carrying his weighted clothing and the bag on his back while searching around the world for a good enough mountain peak was indeed not an easy job at all. That mountain could have been anywhere in the world, even in the north pole, and the cold atmosphere could have taken the human out in no time. The mountain's location was oddly near the southwest forest, once heard of containing residence for some kind of magician, or wizard, or whatever he was. It was a series of mountains which only one of them was the one fitting the activation of the Sun Stones, thus requiring to search for it without flying above it. It also took until the evening until the human fighter could even find the series of mountains, flying around the world all this time in search for his goal - trying to enjoy every moment of air time. After using his Ki for so long the human found a nice place where he could lay down a bit and rest, eating using the supplies the doctor gave him before he went on his journey and after that continuing the search for the correct humongous rock. "Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning..." Post WC: 433. Total WC: 5,732. |

The human got tired from all that flying around the world and decided to take the break by resting on top of one of the mountains. It wasn't that late, but the advantage would have come if he woke up early in the morning when the sun rises, giving him the opportunity to see which is the perfect peak by checking each mountain by the time the sun is already up and the sky is lighted. For now, he had to think of a good enough way to spend time before tomorrow's search although he wasn't even sure if those mountains were really the ones the Sun Stones would react on. What better way was to spend or just kill time other than sleeping? And so, the human laid down on the rocky floor with his bag hung on his shoulder - thus preventing any animal from coming there and taking it, and fell asleep shortly after, due to doing particularly nothing at those moments. In his dream, the human could see a monster savaging Nadaty Village, an enormous monster in size that exceeds the largest building the human saw up to that day. He could see himself flying towards it with his fiery breath ready, but deflected right away by the monster's enormous limb. The destruction was too vast and he couldn't keep up with that monster's fighting capabilities and eventually fainted. The battle was too hard for him and he couldn't hold any longer with his body, although he was considered one of the strongest pupils of Master Roshi from that group. "Hemin... I failed..." Were his last words before falling down. Krillin woke up the next morning suddenly, with the rays of the sun yet to reach the mountain top. The human fighter was sleeping in a certain cave, a hole found in the pile of rocks, thus nothing could interfere with his sleep unless some kind of animal other than a bat would get in there and start making noises with the echo of the cave. "Man... What a terrible dream..." Walking outside with his bag still on him the human let out a stretch and then looked in the bag to see that everything is in it's place. It was time to search for the perfect peak, after a small while of training until the sun fully rises. "Alright, let's go." The human was prepared to search for his goal. The sun already rose up, and it was time for this quest to end. Post WC: 417. Total WC: 6,149. |

The human fighter began his search after the perfect peak, the one with the perfect balance of heat and cold with the right amount of sunlight to fall upon the Sun Stones, causing the reaction to begin and thus creating the dangerous omen. At first, Krillin was really afraid of setting out to find whatever that dangerous thing was going to turn out being, but when he thought about it the doctor he was working with looked just too happy to be disappointed suddenly. He couldn't let him down like this so easily, what triggered Krillin's determination into working fine with searching the mountain's peak. This determined mind didn't let the human down, as soon enough he managed to find the perfect peak, after much efforts of searching for it across the mountain's area. It was very odd to figure out the perfect peak was a single island right after one of the mountains, incredibly small and only holds a small pile of rocks considered as a part of one of the mountains. The pile was about the size of Dr. Hemin, giving it a somehow ironic sense. "... You've got to be kidding me." Krillin commented as the Sun Stones' glow began to strengthen until all were completely golden colored. This was the reaction he was waiting for all this time, but not in a place like this. Somehow, the human could only think that all his efforts were to waste and for some reason, he could have never guessed that if he hadn't fell from the mountain by mistaken, saving himself by landing on that small 'peak'. The reaction of the Sun Stones began once the sunlight's rays hit directly the stone's surface, the human looking in scorn. The reaction began with the Sun Stones' glow getting stronger until all were completely colored in gold, rather the pale, bright golden glow they were showing when the doctor was experimenting on them. This was truly a new material, something the world has yet to discover, doubtfully the doctor wouldn't brag about it and try making new things out of it. If he was to sell some of this new chemical powder to the world, he'll get famous and rich in no time. The process continued with the ingredients the human bought along with the stones being burned completely, even evaporating into gas and mystically engulfing the stones. Krillin took a step back and entered a stance, being ready for anything that might come at him. That was when the dimensional portal opened. Scared of whatever might come out of there, the short fighter looked directly towards the dark-blue portal with something coming out of it calmly. It was... "Oh, hi there!" ... Another scientist? Another guy, looking more like a blue demon than a human, wearing earth scientist clothes? What was going on with this messed up journey? Post WC: 477. Total WC: 6,626. |

"Whew, I'm finally out! Never expected to see the real world after so much time... Are you the one who released me? I'm really grateful, me young lad!" The Sun Stones' glow remained as the scientist was walking out of the dimensional portal off to the ground. At the time, Krillin couldn't help but thinking only a single thought: "(... The fuck...?)" Fortunately, the opposing scientist didn't look like he could read minds, so the human's privacy of thinking about the awkwardness of this situation remained safe. The strange demon-like blue man looked at Krillin yet again after catching a glimpse of the new world he entered. "So, doesn't look like you really got me out of there... Have any idea when I can meet with that guy?" The human immediately answered with a positive answer and decided to give this weird creature a ride to Dr. Schwartz Hemin, the one that told him of this entire thing in the first place. While carrying the scientist, Krillin could feel that he had some kind of weird sense to his touch - something like bumps, but different. A frog's hands maybe? When arriving at the lab after a short time - already knowing where the doctor is hiding, the doctor was seen mixing different kinds of ingredients in what appeared to be a completely random sequence, a dance perhaps. Interfering with Hemin's work, the demon scientist stepped forward and suddenly said: "You're doing it wrong." And then began to make his own dance of mixing ingredients, the result of a rainbow colored liquid that contained the powder inside the test tube. Hemin looked at Krillin and pointed at the guy, with the warrior only nodding. A happy reaction was let out from the doctor. "Oh wow, I'm so excited to meet you!! My name is Dr. Schwartz Hemin, I'm the one who decided on this whole Sun Stone project!! Who might you be?" The scientist then introduced himself as Professor Gildartz, a certain person of a different race from a far, different dimension, also known as the person which invented the Sun Stones. The two paired up and became good mates in project, Gildartz learning about the earth's discoveries and Hemin studying that different dimension's functions. Upon releasing a matter that was created thanks to Gildartz's inventions - the same matter the Sun Stones were made of, the two were awarded a great fortune (large prize money) and were given a report page on one of the front pages in a magazine about world geniuses. Krillin not so long after got a letter from the pair, thanking him for the journey and the efforts. "Well... Couldn't say I'm not glad this is over, but it was nice in a way. Maybe this could come in handy! I'll remember that guy's name." QUEST END Post WC: 468. Total WC: 7,094. |
