Guldo sat meditating nestled in the tiny town under the volcano known as Thor's Peak, the tiny town was called Sozin, it was a small town, perfect for the alien to relax and take his time before continuing onwards, the little Basian felt like he had been on Earth for forever now, it had been so long since the alien had taken a nice day to just relax and take his time with life. Although his main two eyes were closed in his meditation, his two much larger ki-sensing eyes were opened brightly, although the vision that could be seen between the two was highly different, the two main eyes saw color and light reflection like normal human eyes, but the two much larger eyes could detect the tiniest movements and vibrations of ki auras radiating around him. So his vision was more advanced than that of other races.

The Brasians were a rare race, Guldo was unsure if any of his people still lived, it had been so long since he had sought out his people, his old space pod that he had landed on Earth was long-lost. Guldo had been on Earth forever, having forgotten the rare ability of the Brasian race, the ability to stop time when the breath was held. Brasians were also very short and pudgy, and Guldo was a fine example, their physical hand-to-hand prowess was low, but they had very minute and precise control over their ki auras. Meaning that they could learn to fully master all aspects of their ki, from the basic to the elements to the dimension warping.

Guldo awoke, his meditation training over, he sighed softly, his body relaxing and becoming more in-sync. Guldo stood up, taking a drink from a glass on a nearby table, both his sets of eyes became more functional in the light. Guldo cracked his neck and back, he had really stiffened up, he would have to do some more training, soften his body up. He really needed to work on his hand-to-hand as well, thanks to his training with Kami on Earth, he was learning all he needed to learn about ki and it's uses. But he needed a master of up close and personal fighting, he was a good fighter, he just needed work in all aspects.

But at that moment, a large shaking could be felt, and a rumble could be heard, Guldo managed to stay on his feet, but many of the knick-knacks and other various small items in his room fell to the ground, Guldo would probably have to pay for those later, slightly angered. He rushed outside of his hotel, his speed was surprising, considering his size and prowess. He noticed as the towns-people were all gathered in the center of the town, Guldo joined with them and listened as the mayor of the town began to say, "Thor's Peak is becoming restless, we need to send someone up there to examine it, maybe fix it or if all hope is lost, sound an evacuation, is there any one here that is willing?". Guldo looked around, the towns-people all began to whisper to one another, but not one had the guts to step up to the challenge.

"I will go!". Guldo said, stepping up on the podium, some chuckles could be heard, probably people under-estimating him, as many people did, it was only human nature to doubt someone such as Guldo. But his offer was serious, and his face showed the truth. The mayor checked around, as if searching for someone else, but then gave a small sigh and nodded, saying in reply, "Very well Visitor Guldo, you may gather what you need, depart when ready.". Guldo nodded and thanked the mayor, he quickly gathered all the necessities needed to survive for a few days. When his bag was packed, the Brasian set out for the volcano, his journey to the top would be an adventure all it's own. For even flying up there would take about a day and a half.

Guldo set off, his thoughts muddled, still wondering why he had volunteered, what did he owe these people? Nothing, but there wasn't any time to think about that...

The task at hand was one of time and patience, much walking and hiking among the smoother more solid parts of the volcano, while he flew and hovered on the steep and rocky parts of the mountain, he wasn't doing no climbing, his body structure was horrible for climbing, if he didn't know how to fly, there would be no way that he would be able to complete his task... But after time, it did begin to show that he was making process, this Thor fellow really did have a lot of time on his hands if he made this volcano. Guldo continued going up and up and up, until about two earth days later. He had used almost all the resources from his pack, he was tired and wanted rest, but something drove him on, what was it? Love for the humans? No, he didn't really care one way or another what happened to them. It suddenly clicked into his mind, love of adventure... It had been forever since Guldo had actually done something adventurous. He felt his protruding belly, fatter than most Basians should have it, so the adventure was much appreciated.

Guldo kept travelling for one day more, until he had finally reached the top of Thor's Peak, he was tired and hungry, with nothing but water and his armor to his name, although the armor was nice, it was a special gift from an old friend from a long time ago, when Guldo wasn't a very good choice maker, it was strong enough to protect him from the elements and weak weak attacks, but light enough to offer full durability and speed. It was perfect for a fighter that fought among Basians, quickly, get in many strikes and blasts, and then get back before the other one had time to react. Guldo HAD taken the martial arts of Tai Chi though, so he WAS different than most Basians in that sense. He was fast, just not as fast as some of his other people. He prefered the arts of ki in battle. Nothing more, nothing less.

But that was enough dwelling on his past, having finally arrived at the peak of Thor, Guldo found himself looking down into the volcano itself, it truly wasn't as deep as he would have expected, meaning there was much history in this mountain, much history indeed. As Guldo looked down, he heard a light "Ahem..." coming from behind him, he panicked slightly, almost losing his balance, but his adrenaline kicked in and he managed to save himself from toppling in, now angry that somone had just tried to kill him, Guldo turned around, anger visible on both pairs of eyes. He saw a young human man, black hair slicked back, glasses, rich boy clothes, Guldo couldn't help but wonder what the hell this human was doing here and HOW he had gotten here. Using his upper eyes, he could see and feel no ki signatures from the boy, so if he had flown, it wasn't like Guldo flies. The boy walked over and looked down into the volcano, then nodded, stepping back he said to Guldo, "Hello, I come from the Suzakomi family, we are... Not pleased with what your doing, my family had owned the trade routes of this town and many others for years, but the people here have grown poor, my father no longer needs there services, so I implore you, let it go off, don't sound any evacuation or such, just let it go."

Guldo stared at the lad as if he was insane, the ground began to rumble slightly, the eruption was soon coming, Guldo looked down again, there was no way he could stop it if it went off, the rumbling didn't quit as Guldo turned to the boy and asked, "Why should I listen to you? I have no care for the humans either way, I am only here to seek out an adventure, but it seems that is going to be cut short, so why should I listen to you?". The boy smiled and reached into his pocket, pulling out a un-imaginable amount of zeni. He raised it out to Guldo with these words, "Money makes the world go round, and you look like you could use a little, take the money and let the volcano erupt, or don't take it and try and save everything, I can guarantee you'll die in the process.".

Guldo stared at the money and then the boy, the rumbling began to increase, becoming more violent with every passing second, Guldo reached his hand out, he grasped the money, he took the money and set it into his pocket, blasting off as fast as he could, he only looked back to see the boy smiling and nodding, then pressing a button on his chest, a jetpack appeared on his back and he fired off. Guldo kept flying faster and faster, until he was so far away, he couldn't hear the pained screams and sad cries of the hundreds of people he had just slaughtered for personal gain. But what did he care?

They WERE only humans after all...
