Ginyu awoke with a start, almost falling from his position on top of Broli's spacecraft. He felt the gem of telepathy in his hands, still lit. Another battle, one so soon? He sighed. So be it. It would only made him stronger, after all.

He hoisted himself down from the ship; he didn't want to lose his balance and fall if he came out of a spar disoriented. Then, he sat on the ground and began to meditate, using the gem to focus his energies, and entered the realm of his mind.

Usually, when Ginyu created the realm himself, he liked it simple. He envisioned a grassy landscape, with only one or two trees disturbing the flawless blue sky. But it wasn't like that today. The creator must have put some serious thinking into the design of the landscape. It was forested on all sides, with a cornucopia and a lake in the center, all looking shiny and new. The landscape struck Ginyu as somewhat familiar, but he couldn't place it exactly, as it was like no place he had ever been before. And it was huge. It looked almost infinite. Whoever created this had to be really smart. Ginyu decided he must have seen it in a painting or a dream.

It was at this time that he noticed some bubbles were floating on the top of the lake. Coming for a closer look, Ginyu could see that it was Broli's young ward, Trunks, meditating under the surface of the water. What was he doing here? Ginyu threw a rock into the water to signal his arrival.

"Hey! Trunks! Stop having fun swimming around and actually fight me, will 'ya?!"

Trunks rose with a gasp. Ginyu laughed, but Trunks had a more serious smile on his face. He began:

"Fight? I didn't call you here for that." Trunks stated, then floated a bit to the left, looking at a Pyramid just beyond the lake. Ginyu, confused, began to float toward the ground.
"No! It's covered in Mines, my friend. Everything around the lake, actually. I bet your curious on how to escape the sure death when your Ki gives out?" Trunks asked, knowing it would happen at one point or another.
"Simple. Around two hundred and fifty miles in one of the four normal, or many cardinal, directions is a Silver Arrow. That Arrow, when lodged into a particular tree somewhere around here, will cut off the Mines' power. When that happens, you must find a second Silver Arrow to unlock the Pyramid, inside which is my Gem of Telepathy. Using that, unlock the Cornucopia and open it up to the next stage of the game."

With that, Trunks sped off in no general direction, planning to mislead Ginyu and trap him under one of the traps...Which he'd 'forgot' to mention.
V-cutting along his chosen path, he sped off north-west toward the mountains, dropped to about ten feet above the ground, dragging along golden nests of Hornets as he went, listening to the humming building behind him.

It took over three hours to fix the Astral Realm to work like this, another two to create semi-sentient animals among the endless remake of the Hunger Games. Most of them were fueled by his Sub-Conscious, others simply bits of memories, like the worms and other insects. This would be impossible to pull off during an actual fight, but when speed was the case, it seemed feasible.

By the time the 'Tracker Jackers' as the book, 'Hunger Games,' called them, was a large golden mass in the forest, Trunks had shot back up into the sky, watching for the small black line across the mountains that indicated the hidden fire cannons, which would be easily used to slow Ginyu. Spotting it, he shot downward, lowering his power level as he went.

"No! It's covered in Mines, my friend. Everything around the lake, actually. I bet you’re curious on how to escape the sure death when your Ki gives out?" Trunks asked, and Ginyu was surprised to realize he was thinking exactly that. "Simple. Around two hundred and fifty miles in one of the four normal, or many cardinal directions is a Silver Arrow. That Arrow, when lodged into a particular tree somewhere around here, will cut off the Mines' power. Ginyu took a moment to get of it in, but one he understood it, that it was all a game, he smiled. It really was pure genius. But there was a simple fault. All he REALLY had to do was beat up Trunks, and the rest would fall into place naturally. He was about to begin a barrage of attacks, when a voice came into his head.

"Wait," the voice inside him echoed, "Perhaps finding the arrows is the most prudent method." Ginyu nodded. Perhaps the creepy voice was right. Trunks had flown off somewhere, so it was time for Ginyu to get a bearing on his surroundings.

He looked around the forest directly near the cornucopia for any signs of malformations or indents in the trees that might make it the arrow’s holder, careful not to touch the ground. None were found. Trunk’s chi was in the west, and Ginyu decided he would follow him, slowly and methodically checking the trees as he went.

After a good fifteen minutes had passed, Ginyu decided he was getting nowhere with this tree searching. It obviously wasn’t here. He rose above the tree line, and began to speed toward Trunk’s location. Along the way, he began to hear rumbling noises. He turned in the direction of the noise. Behind him, cannonballs were streaking in from the mountains! Ginyu dropped low, cursing Trunks. It seemed he had planted more traps than Ginyu had originally suspected. Flying beneath the treeline now, Ginyu continued to Trunks, and, hopefully, the arrow.

Trunks smirked, firing the exploding balls of fire at Ginyu's location. As the Purple Devil's Ki came closer, Trunks fired one blast down into the forest, then two, then three, and up to six. Fire erupted on all sides, and the 'uber' Hornets, as Trunks liked to call them, roared to life, forming a tight twister around Ginyu.

Meanwhile, Trunks set a few more acres of the forest on fire, then left the control station, blowing it sky high with his new demolition attack, the Mine Sphere. Within seconds the mountainside was hotter then heck, consumed by the flames of the hundreds of remaining fire balls. Pleased with his work, Trunks sped off again, careful not to leave any trace except his Ki.

This time he zeroed in on a particular rock, landing directly in front of it. Quite literally this was the only safe spot in the entire realm at the moment, besides the one with the Silver Arrow. Lifting the rock, he chucked it a few miles off, watching one of the mines erupt and create a new clearing. Luckily, he had spaced them out while thinking out this game, meaning only certain areas had clusters.

Reaching into the hidden whole, he removed a silver bow. Clutching it, he sped off in the direction of the first Arrow, hanging the Bow in a tree as a hint, then V-cutting back toward the Cornucopia. Hopefully Ginyu would be confused by the trail left- if he had survived the fire and Hornets. If he hadn't, then Trunks wouldn't still be here.

When he reached the Lake again, he speed teleported into the water, as not to make bubbles, and used Bukujutsu to hit the bottom quickly. Once there, he focused on setting up the next trap....A flood in the eastern parts, where Ginyu would have to go to follow Trunks' energy. Pulling some triggers, he began the water's rising.

“BOOM!”

“BOOM!”

Ginyu was flying low and fast to try to escape the cannonballs, which were now detonating the mines and blowing up huge tracts of soil, sending them careening into the air behind Ginyu. He was quickly reaching his target though, Trunks power was on top of a mountain only a few hundred yards away.

“Ahgh!”

Ginyu felt something prick his neck. He smashed it. It seemed to be a hornet of some kind, only it was enormous, the size of a male mosquito. He felt another on his leg, and another on his arm. Shit! He was being swarmed by the mosquitoes from hell! He tried to swat them away, but more kept coming; an army of buzzing, biting machinations that seared the flesh. He fell down, careful to land in a tree, and attempted to swat away the vermin with a tree branch, with only moderate success. Ginyu’s appendages started to swell.

“Shit. The venom is spreading.” Ginyu’s mind raced. He ripped some fabric from his cape, and tied tourniquets around his arms and legs, hopefully stopping the venom’s spread, for now. With the hornet’s mostly gone, Ginyu flew up to the mountain peak, noting that Trunks was gone. He got up to the peak, and saw a burnt out room, that must have been where Trunks had launched his cannons. He looked around. Most of the stuff had been burned beyond recognition, but he could still make out some buttons on the dashboard. The only button left readable said “Release the mutts”. He pressed the button. Really, what could go wrong?

Ginyu spotted Trunks power level, back near the cornucopia. He dropped to the ground and headed toward him on foot, not wanting him to notice his power level. He noticed on one of the trees, a bow, made of silver. Ginyu looked long and hard at the tree, looking for traps, and when he was sure it was mischief free, he took the bow off the tree branch. Underneath was an indent in the tree. Ginyu knew now what to do. He had to put the arrow in the slot. The bow was a clue. He sped off, after that crafty sayian.

'Mutts. How'd they get out!?' Trunks thought as he flew through the forest area. A hurricane built over head, preparing to flood the arena. If Ginyu didn't find the first Arrow soon, it'd all be over. But now, he had to figure out why that purple fool let out the Mutts!?

No matter, He thought, pulling up hard. Pointing one hand at the oncoming beasts, and let loose a massive wave of blasts. They were a bit weaker then usual, seeing it had been weeks sense he'd used the Energy Dan. As the Mutts fell to the ground, Trunks lifted high above the forest floor, began to separate his 'Ying and Yang,' as Roshi called it, and then melded an equal amount of the two into one another. In a flash of lightning, Green and Orange Ki formed tight over his Skin, then busted off, taking physical form. A second Trunks. It flew off in the opposing direction, toward the first arrow, and Trunks shot off for the second.

He slowed, landing on a branch and digging into the bark, then slowly prying a silver arrow. After this, he shoved it back into the branch, stood, and crossed his arms. Ginyu hadn't found it, obviously. Had he found the first? When the clone returned Trunks would know.
---------
Deca-Trunks landed on a rock, tearing into it viciously. From it emerged a Silver Arrow. Ginyu hadn't been here, either. But he would be soon. Right? It became obvious he was right, as the small, fake soul filtered from the Deca-Trunks and into Ginyu, losing itself in the true body....Or so it seemed.

(OOC: Your last post needs to be 300 words...)

Ginyu flew out over the forest, toward Trunks’ chi. It seemed like the “Mutt” button hadn’t done anything, there was a little something, but it appeared and disappeared quickly. Ginyu sensed two powers diverging from the location Trunks was at, both significantly weaker than Trunks himself. One must be Trunks, and the other must be a decoy, or a trap. Or they could both be traps, a voice sounded in his head, but Ginyu didn’t bother with that explanation. He shot toward one of the powers at full speed, hoping the arrow would be there.

After flying for a short time, he came to rest at an enormous rock in a clearing in the woods. The power was right behind this rock. Ginyu walked around, and hid behind the rock, but seeing Trunks, clear as day, clawing furiously at the stone. He smiled, then screamed at the top of his lungs. The boy turned in surprise, and Ginyu took the initiative. He elbowed Trunks in the chest, and was about to finish it, when he realized something was off. This wasn’t like Trunks at all. It was almost like… Ginyu spread his arms wide.

“Change…. NOW!”

Ginyu body fell into a crumpled heap. It was as he had thought. If it was really Trunks, the boys soul would now inhabit Ginyu’s body, proving that this “being” didn’t have any soul. So it wasn’t really Trunks, only a copy made of Reiki. Ginyu was surprised the Reiki clone even held up to the body change, but even so, his chi reserves in this form were limited. It would be dangerous to inhabit a body that could dissolve at any minute. But Ginyu lingered. There was an inkling of a plan.

He looked where the clone had been scratching at the rock. The rock had begun to chip away, and bits of silver could be seen underneath. Ginyu pulled away even more rock. There! A shiny silver arrow sat, buried in the rock. Ginyu grabbed it, and making sure to conserve his energy, began to fly back to the tree.

As Gin-Deca-Trunks flew off, the Deca-Trunks stirred inside Ginyu's body, slowly rising it it's feet. Even weaker then before, it managed to float just above the ground, following slowly toward the real Trunks to assimilate. Quivering as it dragged it's much more real body along...Fighting Ginyu's normal urges, dragging itself to it's true half.

Meanwhile, Trunks himself felt the shift in his clone, which had suddenly felt like a capped super power. Only a little stronger then himself in this unstable state. Ginyu? Could that Alien...Change bodies?
Removing his sword, and pulling the arrow from the tree only to chuck it as far away as possible, Trunks began to raise his power to the max, forming a green-orange ball in his free hand. Now came the fun part.

As Ginyu, disguised as his clone, flew into view, Trunks fired energy balls every which way, letting them miss in order to perk his temporary foe's power level, in hopes to eliminate his clone's body. However, he noticed an even more unstable power moving across the battle grounds. Assumably what was left of his clone, preparing to rejoin with Trunks...But if it was in Ginyu's body, how would that work? He'd find out soon enough.

Putting focus back into the Energy Dan, he fired off a full powered round, a slightly weaker one, then followed through with this pattern until his arm became numb. At this point he lowered it, wielded the blade with both his good and numb arms, then flared his Ki, launching at Deca-Ginyu full speed. Dragging his blade upwards, aiming for his Ginyu-inhabited-Clone's chest, he felt a ping, the sound of metal on metal, meaning Deca-Ginyu had drawn the clone's blade.

Angered by this, he freed his left hand, built a surplus of Ki into it, then slammed forward. A second before impact Trunks bellowed, "WOLF FANG FIST!"
With the punch powered up, he was bound to force Ginyu back into his true body. Or not.

Ginyu flew off toward the tree, surprisingly, about where Trunks was. He wondered if Trunks had the second arrow already. If the look on Trunks’ face when he saw his self flying toward him was anything to go by, it was likely he did. Ginyu waved, and Trunks released a volley of energy blasts. Not having enough stability to block or absorb them, he instead dropped to the ground to dodge them. Trunks ran in with his sword, and Ginyu took out the clone body’s own sword to block. He let the arrow fall to the ground and began to enter a sword grapple with the halfling prince.

After clashing swords not once, not twice, but three times, Trunks was getting the upper hand. Ginyu had to finish this. He mustered all of his energy, dropped the sword, and rammed Trunks in the stomach. He fell to the ground with a gasp, and Ginyu turned to pick up the arrow. But it was gone.

“Looking for this?”

Ginyu flipped around. Ginyu was standing right him! Or rather, Trunks’ clone in Ginyu’s body. Ginyu was shocked.

“Wait. You don’t have a soul. How could you control my body?!”

Trunks whispered from the ground something about the Astral realm, and yin and yang, but Ginyu wasn’t one to listen to science. The clone smiled evilly. He looked down at Trunks.

“Hmph. How foolish, both of you. Now I have both the arrows now,” The clone ignored Ginyu’s question, “and there’s nothing stopping me from simply overwhelming Trunks’ mind, with the keys to his Gem of Telepathy. I have to go now, Ginyu, I have a body to control; but remember the name, Feirb.” With that, the clone flew off into the west, leaving Ginyu to try to help the injured Trunks.
