Akina's eyes were taking on a new look when he allowed the android side of him a bit more control as he had upgraded a bit of his old machinery, even the one in his head. That part had been most difficult. If he had made one mistake, Akina would have lost all his personality and been lost to the android that was within. Akina's new eye color did not scare him, but it reminded him that he was never a full saiyan. It wasn't something that Akina shied away from, as he had learned a lot about that side of him. His crimson gaze faded as he looked down at the dragon ball radar that rested in his palm. He counted the clicks he made on the top of the screen calculated. He was closing in, he had reached within a city block of the dragon ball. It marked it on his Scouter, which he slipped on.

"One located, two to go," muttered the half blood. He turned as he turned off the scouter and placed it away and looked at the city he was near- few people walked along the streets that he occupied with them. He was just on his way out- there was, in his opinion, a better place to stay the night. Dusk was upon him and he preferred not to be in such a town- it bored the hell out of him. All they wanted to do was sit around and smoke and listen to fiddle playing. He wouldn't profile them, however, the saiyan did not want such a thing, he lusted for battle, but held himself back. If he didn't, he would have destroyed the town and placed the Dragon Ball in whatever place he wanted. A low growl slid from his throat as he finally left out of the town and he finally headed towards a camp site about a mile away.

Earth was quite the colorful place compared to the dull and red sands of Vegeta-Sei. But one could not just sit around and sight-see to gain power. No, there was only one thing on Blackfire's to-do list, and that was to locate all seven dragon balls. Each ball held mystic powers that could grant the user incredible powers. Was her thinking becoming tainted? Perhaps. But for all of her ambition, the teen knew that someone out there was watching her. An untold enemy of almost limitless power.

Blackfire shook her head to clear her thoughts. Such weakness and stupidity would not let her complete her objectives. Taking a quick glance at her radar, she watched the bleeps. One was on the move, yet it wasn't with Akina. She could sense the half-blood's power on the other side of the planet near another ball.

Akina was becoming quite intriguing to the girl. He was gaining power at an impressive rate, almost as fast as the orphan teen was. She tapped her scouter thoughtfully. Perhaps she should check up on him.

….No. What the hell was she thinking? He would be fine on his own. She forced her thoughts of him away, and concentrated on the huge temple before her. Why was a temple in the middle of the damn desert?

Well, judging on the blip on the radar, it was the resting place of one of those mystic gems. Blacfire cracked her knuckles. Time to get moving!

Blackfire hovered off of the brown sand and narrowed her eyes against the blinding wind that stirred up the dry sand. It blasted against both her and her armor. She hated the feeling and quickly erected an amethyst aura up to block the veil. Satisfied with her work, Blackfire scanned the temple, looking for an entrance to the hidden dragon ball.

Akina walked calmly towards that camping site, but he could hear something in the distance. What the hell was that sound, Akina though as he quickened his pace. It sounded like that alien he had fought to make the sun stone. But when he arrived, he could not locate the creature. What he saw, instead, was a crimson haired youth that had massacred the people here. Corpses lay around and his cloths were drenched in blood. His hair had a few splotches and it was also on his skin. The emerald orbs of that youth glared at Akina. His eyes were filled with bloodl ust, and the young male spoke with a lightness to his voice, as though he was not in control of his own body.

Akina was about to speak when the youth charged at him. What the hell? Akina's Scouter shot into life, the battle strength grew to twenty five thousand. What the hell was with this kid? He wore a mesh shirt that was half black and half red. He also wore tabi and sandals like shinobi had done back in the day. Why would such a being be here. Akina growled as he drew out the sword he had and slashed. As he thought, if he was a shinobi type, a short blade lashed out and banged into Akina's. He couldn't believe the strength in that blow, but Akina did not buckle.

He pushed against the shorter blade and then dipped in lower and closer to the front of the male and shoved his shoulder up and into the gut of the opponent. The reaction was like there was no pain. The male simple moved back slightly and then charged forward. A hand was throw out and ki erupted from the palm. Akina ducked under the beam and then shot his own, which only knocked back the male. What the hell was going on here? Akina raised an eyebrow as he noted the blood stains. Surely Akina was seeing something that was not right. This guy just seemed out of place here, so close to society. Was he suddenly out to kill all the humans he could? Or was he being controlled by someone, somewhere?

"Tch," escaped the half blood's lips before he moved forward and slammed his sword into the ground and lifted himself off the ground. The shinobi garbed opponent had charged, but swung at empty air. Akina placed a hand onto the red head's head and pushed down. The male was pushed into the ground and then Akina placed his hand against the back on the shinobi for a point-blank shot. He then grabbed the sword and jumped back and floated in the air. There was not a chance that he could fly into the air- at least Akina thought that. A low growl came from the Saiyan half blood as the male got up as though he was not even hurt, despite the burned skin that was there.

The male turned and stared at Akina and then glared. There certainly was something off here. The human, or at least he appeared to be human (Akina started to not believe this), suddenly charged up at him with pure strength of legs also and slashed at the half blood. The half blood pulled back after a moment and then engaged as he slashed at the smaller blade. The blades smashed against each other, but the red haired male twisted his blade and slashed at Akina.

The half blood moved back quickly and back flipped. His foot connected with the chin of his opponent, but he was not done. He stopped at an angle and pushed forward and struck his opponent with his head, against the male's upper back. A hit against a normal human would have paralyzed him, but Akina suspected that it would not do so to this. He was proven correct as the male slammed into the ground and got up right after. Akina growled and then placed his hand out and fired out an Energy Dan. Obviously Akina knew now that he would have to get more serious then he had been.

The energy blasts moved quicker than Akina had thought, so he was forced to counter with his own Energy Dan. Dark sapphire blasts met blood ruby blasts and created a cloud. Akina's scouter warned him from behind and he shot up into the air and avoided his head being removed, but his leg was sliced into. A sharp growl came from the half blood and then he gave a roar as his transformation flashed into view, shaking the earth around him. His power flared up to it's maximum as he looked down at the now floating teen below him. So, this guy was a true shinobi- he used smoke cover and quick movement to kill. Akina had severely underestimated him. But then he heard a voice in his head, "Ahh, you seem much more useful than this human child. Perhaps I'll take your body instead."

Akina raised an eyebrow and then watched as a crimson liquid shot out from the body's mouth. Akina dodged the stream as he pulled back and blasted it with an energy blast. A screech came from the liquid as it flew back into the host's mouth. The teen trashed around as though a child with a parent that tried to take it's favorite toy. The half blood saiyan did not allow this to distract him and pulled his arm back, and said, "I think I have no choice. To," as he paused a moment in pain from the cut on his leg, blood still gushed from it, electric energy formed in his hand and grew, "Keep Earth safer, I'll have to take the kid's life to end your life as well."

The possessed teen took notice then and it's eyes opened wide and shot out eye beams. Akina cursed and countered, though most of his concentration was on the lightning blade that continued to form above his hand. His energy stared to win out, and Akina pushed a bit more as he forced more ki into both his Raiu Yaiba and Eye Beam, and burned the teen's eyes and the...whatever it was inside him, because it thrashed on the ground. Akina shook his head as he took no chance and had the attack grow to it's maximum size before he threw the blade at the kid.

Akina watched with sad eyes when the blade hit- a pang of 'damn that was a boring ending' came from him and he did not feel the least bit sorry that he'd thought that. The blade speared the kid to the ground, electric energy fried the being as that horrible screech came higher than ever before it faded to death. The technique took out a large chunk of Akina's ki. The half blood floated down to the ground and panted as he let the transformation fade. It had been the only thing that allowed him to stay conscious. He had lost a lot of blood, the slash was deeper then he had thought. "Damn," slipped the lips of the half blood before he fell to the ground.

The half blood was unable to know what happened next, but he woke up a few hours later with his blood having swiftly returned once he got some IV in him. The half blood woke up in a hospital ward, an iv on his arm. He could feel a bandage around his leg, held tight to stop the bleeding. He did not feel bad. A female doctor sat across from him and looked down after she wrote something on his chart. She gasped, unable to understand why he had recovered so quickly- a normal human wouldn't have even been conscious. Akina pushed himself up into a sitting position, but the woman tried to push him back down. The teen resisted and glared at the doctor as he spoke calmly, "If I woke up, I'm fine, doctor."

The doctor gave him an angry look ad even tied to push him down again. Unable to make him budge, she released a low sigh and then replied in a tired tone, "Alright, fine. But when you faint, I'll have to put you back on the iv. And since you feel so up to it, maybe you can tell us about what happened at that camp site."

Akina did not want to tell her about that- of course a normal human would never understand what happened there. This human would not understand what ki was, or how to use it, and how it was used in that battle, but he nodded his head. The head of their police force walked in with shrugged shoulders and spoke calmly, "So, you saw this being. We've had incidence like this before. But never with the killer dead. It seems that the wrath of God struck this one down, what with the lightning sword. You were the only surviver. Maybe because that possessed kid was killed when he meant t' kill you. Your sword," the female cop said, as she pointed at the window, "Is right there. We're too far up for ladders, s' don't worry about kids takin' it. Now, son, mind telling me what you know? You are the only lead we got."

Akina could not tell them it was him- for all he knew, they'd make him out to be some sort of figure sent by God that was mortal to punish evil people, but was not the Messiah. He tried to find a way to not say he had used the sword on the being. He didn't even know what had possessed the lad. He placed a hand on the back of his head and replied, "I didn't see anything. If fact, I had just left to get to my camp. I was attacked and I don't know what happened after that, ma'am. I'm sorry I'm not any help."

A couple of minutes were spent hovering over the sealed temple with no apparent way to get into blasted place. Perhaps the teen should make her own entrance? No. It would be far to risky to harm the priceless gem that was stored within. But something didn't feel right. Some small trickle of power could be felt from within the chamber's depths.

Blackfire narrowed her eyes and concentrated, pinpointing the source of the small spark. It lead her to a single brick that made the temple. What was important about it? The teen would soon find out. Almost hesitantly, Blackfire lifted her hand and placed it against the large stone. She immediately wished she hadn't.

With a sickening sucking sound, the teen's hand was melted into the brick, but as she struggled, the vice like grip would not let go. With a yell, Blackfire produced a amethyst sphere of energy and crashed it into the stone, yet it did not yield. Nothing she did would work. The stone started to glow with a warm red energy and her hand was suddenly rejected, spitting the saiyan out.

Blackfire let out a gasp and recovered herself mid-air with an awed look at the temple and then her hand. Her glove was in ruins, but her skin was untouched. Before she could abandon the idea of trying to break in, the entire temple started to rumble, and sunk into the sand. As the teen watched, the top of the pyramid opened up with a loud grinding noise. Stones melted into their adjacent bricks as an opening was created.

Everything grew silent. The gaping hole in the sand held darkness that seemingly could not be pierced. The girl shook her head and lit her hand with energy, slowly descending the deep chasm into the earth's core. The air steadily grew warmer about the saiyan as she continued her decent. Her amethyst energy radiated around her, lighting the way. The stone inside was covered in ageless dirt, but Blackfire could still see ancient symbols and letters etched on them from countless generations ago.

Where am I?

Her question remained unanswered, and finally, after what seemed to be an eternity, her black boots touched down on the dusty stone floor.

A dead end?

Remembering her previous predicament, Blackfire felt out with her senses once more, pinpointing yet another small spark of energy. The teen strode to the single brick and placed her palm against it. Another sucking sound came out as her hand was brought inside the strange structure. Seconds passed by until her arm was rejected once more, and the stones beside the great technology once again merged, showing another long corridor.

Blackfire let out a sigh and peered into it, doubling the size of her aura and ki so that she could see further. The heat down here was almost unbearable and sweat dripped off of her lithe body in waves, splattering against the ancient floor. The very air seemed contorted from the core's heat and the teen half expected to melt away into the almost oxygenless air.

A large tablet of sorts was propped up against the far wall of this dead end and Blackfire padded to it, picking it up in her hands. Though the temperature was hot, the stone tablet here was as cold as ice. The writing on it was unreadable, and Blackfire felt disappointment welling up from within. Just as she was about to let the ancient piece of writing fall to the floor though, it crumbled into dust, falling out of her hands and splattering against the floor. The stone arch behind her suddenly vibrated and closed, traping the saiyan within.

Well, shit. This wasn't in Blackfire's schedule.

“Welcome, Komand'r. You're presence has been awaited upon for years now.” The teen looked around as a deep and booming voice echoed in the dark cavern.

“Who's there!” She called out. Once again, she felt out with her senses, but could feel no power in the dark hole except her own. “Who are you?”

“It doesn't matter,” the voice replied, “I will talk to you again soon, but first, get your allies on this planet and leave now.”

Blackfire let out a growl, “And why should I listen to you? I'm after...”

“The dragon balls. But what is more important? Power? Or your life? Someone is coming to Earth. Someone that not even your ally Seta can handle. What makes you think you fare any more against this entity than her? This planet will not be here much longer. Now go!”

“Where?” Blackfire cried out.

“Avalon,” the whisper came. With a blinding flash, the voice dissipated, and the teen was forced to bar her face from the brilliance. When it finally faded, she was back over the ground.

“Akina,” she whispered.

Was he the ally that this voice spoke of? It must be. She quickly located his power and vanished from site. Uneasiness crept along her spine. Though it was Akina's power, it seemed strangely faint. When the girl reappeared, it was apparent why.

Blackfire looked around. Several humans in white jackets of sorts stood gaping at her as if they had seen a ghost. Akina was in a bed of sorts with wounds on his body.

“What the hell happened to you?” Blackfire querried, quirking an eyebrow. “Actually, don't answer that.” Producing a small green bean from her pocket, she tossed it to the crimson haired warrior. “That's a sensu bean in case you don't know, it will heal you.”

She waited for him to chew on the healing bean then rapidly explained the current situation and her meeting with the strange voice.

“I'm not sure weather to believe it or not,” the teen growled, completely ignoring the doctors that still stood around gaping at her. “But I'm not sticking around to find out. The dragon balls can wait. She put two fingers on her forehead and concentrated momentarily.

Avalon. Komand'r had never been to the planet that housed the saiyan's enemies, but she knew one person who was on there from intel on Vegeta-sei.

Tapion, looks like I might be paying you a visit after all. Will you welcome me? Or chastise me?

Finally locking on to his massive power level, the teen offered a hand to Akina. “You coming or not?” she asked, a small smile creeping onto her face. “I'm not leaving an ally behind.”

Akina was questioned and pressed a few minutes more before the police woman gave up and left, and muttered something about teens and their rebellious behavior. Akina was glade that she left, but he believed that she just stayed outside the door, just in case. Whatever, it was per problem if she was going to be persistent and get nothing. Akina smiled a bit and then laid back for a minute. His eyes then locked over as this Scouter, which was on the table, shrieked out a warning of a high power level- aparently the doctors did not know how the Scouter worked. He saw Komand'r, and just smiled lightly. He was asked what had happened to him- and a moment later told to not recount it. The half blood warrior grabbed the sensu bean, an item that he had in one of his pouches, but had not been able to access with all the doctors around. At the moment, these doctors just gapped. No skin of Akina's bones.

Akina ate the bean and after a moment he stood and replied to her story, "Well, I had a strange experience today, but that is a story for later. It's still confusing to me, as well."

His cloths were mostly fine and he smiled at her offer. Akina nodded and swiftly grabbed his sword and Scouter before he placed his leather bound hand onto her hand, unsure of what she was about to do with his hand. She smiled at him- something he was sure was rare around Komand'r. But it wasn't like the spar's smile, it was a it different. But no, it couldn't be that. Komand'r did not seem like the type of person to like Akina, but he couldn't deny the look. He had a pleasant smile on his face at the word ally- he had never been called that in his life, nor if he remembered, friend. It was always just 'Akina' or 'you'. Akina could only hope that he was the Komand'r that he being, whatever it was, spoke of.
