He felt it, that same dark energy he had felt on Namek, when his grandson defied the changeling tyrant called Chill. It was close, very close. Slowly he rose from his bed, walking silently towards the traininghall. It was midnight, so his students would be sleeping already. If only he knew how that terrible monster was able to find him here on earth. He looked up to the sky, a full moon was shining, a red one. It was an ill omen, blood had been spilled this night. Suddenly a bone-chilling scream could be heard from the dojo's main building. Enoki turned his attention away from the moon and started running as fast as his old bones would allow him to run. As he reached the doors of the main building, he opened them quickly and ran inside. His feet all of a sudden stepped in to some water of some kind, pressumably another leak in the central plumming. Enoki looked around, yet the darkness of the night took away any clear view. Enoki cursed aloud against himself for being too stubborn to rely on modern electronics. He walked outside again after a long minute of silence, as no sound but the rustling of the leafs of the sakura trees were heard on that eerie night. The old man looked up again and noticed that the weather had changed, thunderclouds had packed up in the sky, brightening the sky with numerous violent flashes of lightning. Taking out a small cloth from his gui, he tried to dry his feet, to prevent himself from getting a nasty cold, yet as he sat down and looked at the bottom of his left foot, a flash of lightning in the sky revealed the bitter truth. The entire bottom of his foot was covered in a red substance. Quickly he rubbed on his feet with the small cloth, praying that it was his blood and that he must've stepped on something, but he already knew it, there was no reason to deny it. The blood was not his, nor were his feet cut. Trembling like a leaf, he walked back to the main building, as another flash of lighting showed him the origin of the agonising scream he had heard earlier on. His hand covered his mouth, tears started to roll down his cheeks. All around him, his students hung lifeless at the wall. All thirteen of his young and bright students were hanging on the walls, staked, butchered, eyes and tongues removed, they hung silent and stolen from their future at the walls. Enoki ran outside, coughing and crying, he couldn't hold it any longer, as he screamed from the top of his lungs in the darkness of the night... wc:457 |

Enoki's body trembled as he rushed about the dojo's interior, seeking any signs of life in his pupils, although he knew already it was a pointless gesture. It was far too late to save any of them. Once again, he had failed where the Changeling was concerned. The old master stood alone in the darkness of his dojo, senses extended, seeking the monster responsible for this atrocity. "He has declared war against my family." He whispered. "Then I shall fight again." Even as he uttered those words however, he knew already that his dojo, that Enoki himself, were not the target of the fallen tyrant. No. He was after his grandson. It was Gosai that Chill despised. It was the heir to all of this. The one who had defied his will, the one who even in defeat had crippled the Changeling's rise to power on Namek. His grandson. The realization struck him like a bolt of lightning. The idea that this could be a simple trap, isolate and kill one of them at a time. It invaded his mind. The terror that his grandson, or even granddaugther were in danger right now. He left the dojo like a shot, the doors nearly breaking off the hinges from the force of his shove. "Gosai! Megumi!" He screamed as he slid into the living area. "Wake up! Both of you!" Groggy noises of recognition came from two rooms on the top floor. A female, looking only slightly older than Gosai. Her face framed by long black hair, her eyes wide with concern for her grandfather's apparent panic. Gosai on the other hand had yet to emerge from his room. "We need to get your brother." He declared fiercely, running up the stairs. Gosai's door was shut but there didn't seem to be any trouble coming from within it... hopefully. "Should I call the police, grandpa?" Megumi queried, watching the Matsuhito patriarch nervously. "No." Enoki's voice was rough. They couldn't call on law enforcement. Against Chill, it would simply add to the body count, and he would not... could not allow that. Shoving open the door, he found his grandson still asleep, having rolled over immediately after the warning was shouted. "Get up!" He declared hurriedly, pulling the mattress itself out from under Gosai, allowing him to tumble to the floor. "Ow..." He grumbled, the impact jarring him awake almost completely. "the hell is going on?" he demanded. "Your battle with the changeling has not yet ended, Gosai." Enoki intoned darkly. (Word Count: 419) |

Channel 6 news A tune plays... A young lady is sitting in front of the monitor, wearing a tight blazer over a white shirt, reading the news of the day; "Latest reports have confirmed that Universal Technologies have yet again expanded their amount of facilitations for their research and development. The spokesman of the interplanetary corporation has also announced that the newly created cybernetic technology department will be under supervision of Dr Area, a new member of the board of trustees and student of the late Dr Thorn," the woman said without stopping. She flipped over a few pages, took a sip of water from the filled glass in front of her and resumed the news; "The West City police department, along with the security division of Universal technology will be cooperating more strictly than before. Up till today, the security division had only rights on the Universal Technology sites, yet starting tomorrow, both the police and the security division will be part of a new law enforcement called the CRA or Criminal Restriction Agency, whom's training and equipment will be both built and provided by the people of Universal Technologies. Many local sources oppose this matter heavily, saying that letting the law being privatized could damage the credibility of civil law." A tune plays... end of news "Bwah, I hate the news. why did they reset the bikini show, grr..?" A grumpy master Roshi said while looking up from his Pure Petals of Pleasure magazine. "Sad that Azumi always decides to train on the second island." ... She was training harder than ever before, knowing that she needed more strength. She hated the fact that she could not make a difference for Gosai when he fought that monster on Namek. She did not know that Enoki decided it was for her own good. She was training fiercely, yet elegantly. She was certainly not weak for a girl of her age, yet she was still weaker than Gosai. She still wondered since when he became so strong, since when did he really outrun her? Suddenly a noise startled her, the sound of a breaking twig, or was it the sound of rustling leaves. Azumi did not know, but she stood on guard, her hands straight and in front of her like she was thought by Enoki. Her breath low and silent, she watched her surroundings, yet nothing happened. Untill all of a sudden, she saw them, four or maybe even five men wearing black uniforms. Somehow and from somewhere, she recognised those outfits, yet before she could remember, she had to fend off the first assailant. She jumped aside elegantly, slamming the palm of her right hand straight upwards against the first attacker's chin, immediatly incapacitating him. Every other attacker got a like wise treatment, being beaten by Azumi with relative ease. "My my, you have certainly improved since the last time I saw you fight," a beautifull, yet melancholic voice spoke from within the forest. Azumi turned towards the sound of the voice, instantly recognising it as the voice of Suigintou, the woman who almost cracked Gosai's strong will on planet Namek. Yet it seemed she was not alone, at least Azumi thought so. The evening started to come, the sun setting behind the horizon while a black curtain of the night spreaded over the forest, Azumi could finally see what was going on. Right from behind the trees, a mysterious cloaked figure appeared, covered in black robes and wearing a silver mask, the mysterious figure approached her slowly. His breath was deep and rattling, as if his throat was crushed or open. because of the darkness and the mask, Azumi could not recognise the cloaked person, but she knew that if it was on earth with Suigintou, it could not be for some teaparty. Yet before she could even speak a single word, ask a single question, she felt a fist being drilled in to her gut with a powerful force. In a mere second, Azumi flew through several ancient trees, before crashing against the islands strongest oak. While she was almost fainting, she looked up and saw the mysterious figure approaching her, his mask glissening in the moonlight and his eyes, his eyes were dark and poisonous, the same, the same as His eyes. "You, You are, you are Ch...," said Azumi as she fainted. (wc: 730, twc Chill:1187) |

The length of time they had been at the station was hard to say, even with a clock nearby. To Gosai it felt as though it had been days. According to the clock he'd been sitting on the bench only for about two hours. He and Enoki had to give their statements to the Police regarding the sudden mass killing of students within the walls of the Matsuhito dojo. The Matsuhito patriarch could see easily that the officers were skeptical of their story, regarding a random killing. This was fair enough, the story wasn't true entirely. The murders were not random. They were orchestrated by the Changeling Tyrant, Chill. For what purpose, the old man could hardly guess. That, and not strength, would become key to their survival. They needed to know what the monster's game was if they were going to play. If they were going to win. Gosai shook his head, looking down again at the magazine he'd been reading. "Mm..." He mumbled, standing up as he noticed the haggard elder emerging from the office he was being questioned in. "Can we go now?" He mumbled. Enoki's nod was all he needed before turning around. "What do we do now?" Gosai whispered to his grandfather as the two emerged from the police station, walking stonily towards the hovercar Megumi Matsuhito was sitting in. "We plan. We seek high ground, a place we can defend ourselves from. If he has come to Earth, his purpose is nefarious." Enoki mumbled, shaking his head. "You two are acting like whoever did this is about to start a war." Megumi pointed out, glancing at them over her shoulder. A haphazard smile belied her own growing nervousness. After all, someone had broken into their home and murdered thirteen people. Without them knowing. "It is a war. Maybe not only on us. Chill's got bigger ambitions than a family of humans in a galactic backwater." Gosai pointed out, shutting his eyes. "We're just one part of a bigger plan. That much I know." Continuing our stop story, The radio interrupted, turned on by Megumi in an attempt to raise the spirits of the car's occupants. the seeming merger between Universal Technologies' defense division and the West City Police Department continues to draw heavy criticis- "Stop the car!" Enoki shouted at the top of his lungs, the young woman letting out a startled yell as her foot smashed into the break, nearly overturning the vehicle as they came to a complete stop. "What the hell, grandpa!?" Megumi shouted, turning to the old man, freezing herself when she realized how pale he looked. "That's the plan." He whispered. "We're in the system now. We've got cops who are going to be watching us at all times. Chill can see our every move if we go home." Enoki continued. "And now he can legally detain or kill us. He can deal with any of us without staining his image on Earth." "We need to find someplace off the grid then." Gosai spoke up, looking at his sister and grandfather in turn. "And I know just the place. I'm taking you two to Master Roshi!" He declared, shoving open the door to the car before either of his relatives had a chance to complain about the idea. Grabbing both by the wrist it took only a twinge of his ki to launch all three of them into the air. It took only a few moments to arrive at Kame Island, the familiar alligator tanning on the sands of the small beach. At the sight of Gosai the creature rolled onto it's stomach before onto his feet. "Hey, you're back! How was spa-" "Sorry, 'gator, I don't have a lot of time to talk." Gosai interrupted, eliciting a confused look from the reptile. Still, the creature nodded, following along as the human pushed his way into the old master's home. "Gosai?" Roshi declared, slightly startled at the massive intrusion of his home. During one of his favorite programs no less, the leotard clad aerobic's practitioners pasted across the screen. "What's the meaning of this?" "Sensei, I need you to keep an eye on my family. Please, this is important. Very, very important!" He shouted, giving each of them a slight push. "Their lives are in danger!" The transformation between the old lecher to the old master was almost instant, his hand holding a white-knuckled grip on the gnarled staff. "Very well." "And just what are you going to be doing?" Enoki demanded. "While we're left in hiding?" "I've gotta see a cat about the future." Was all Gosai responded with before taking to the air, vanishing in the horizon in the space of three blinks of an eye. --- -High atop Korin Tower- The immortal cat gazed over the edge of his personal abode, across the infinite horizon before letting out a deep breath. "He's on his way." Korin mumbled to himself, hopping off the stool and moving slowly towards the scrying jars he kept. "I hope I have answers for him..." --- -Location unknown- Azumi was slowly coming to, her eyes squeezed tightly shut however. This single piece of knowledge, that she was awake, was all she had. She needed to wait for the right moment. Maybe she could spring an attack? Escape? (Word Count: 889 Gosai Word Count: 1,308) |

She looked around, yet it was the same vision as she had with her eyes closed; nothing but a black void, with no visible light. She felt her heart pound heavily inside her chest, almost skipping a beat when all of a sudden a large monitor appeared, displaying that same mask, she saw the mysterious man wearing in the forest. "Who are you, why are you doing this? What are you...?" Azumi's sentence was broken off by her own realisation that she was shouting towards a recorded video. It seemed that the camera came closer to the person, so close, that only the part of the mask and the eyes was visible on the screen. Two dark eyes with a green iris gazed at her and even if this was a video, she could feel and almost taste the horrific evil and darkness inside those cruel and fearsome eyes. "Azumi, you have been given a chance to redeem yourself. You have been given a way out of the pain and the suffering you have had to deal with these past months. No longer will you have to be affraid, no longer do you have to wait for those painful words, you feared so much." A snickering sound could be heard, as Azumi sank through her knees. Her tears ran down her cheeks, not because she was sad, but because she knew what the person ment with "those words". She indeed feared them and a way out was just given to her. She was desperate, knowing that this way perhaps, she could actually save Him. ... At master Roshi's place and almost all around the globe Televisions, computers, navigationsystems, basically every device with a screen to display something, suddenly showed a mysterious masked person, as at the same time the chief of police handed over the power over the police department to the new CRA chief, former Lieutenant Ion. All around the globe, the eyes of man, machine and animal were turned towards the many monitors, as the man began to speak; "Citizens of earth, humans, androids, animal alike. I have come before you to ask you what you need. Do you need vain heroes, men that see themselves as above the law? Do you need those weak and incompetent fools in your government? I ask you, do you want freedom, do you want to end all wars? Than I ask you, deliver me the Matsuhito family, dead or alive. Bring them to me before the lunar eclipse at the end of this month. You have exactly one month. If by then I have not seen or heard anything from the Matsuhito family, your race will be nothing but history." wc: 456 twc chill:1643 twc saga:2951 |

Azumi remained silent, staring at the screen having slumped onto her knees once again. There was nothing she could do yet but listen to the mysterious figure. She needed to get out of here but at the same time, as long as the video was on, she had a chance to learn about how much her captor knew about her. And about Gosai. --- Meanwhile, the human in question was completely unaware of the video being broadcast around the world. No, he was still in the sky, singing in the air behind him in his haste to reach Korin's tower and the immortal feline that lived atop it. The light tap of his feet touching the stone went unnoticed, as did the thin air this high up. Instead he began walking forward. "Korin?" He called out, turning his head when he heard a light cough. On the ground, the cat stood, holding his staff as ever. Having spent so much time learning the cat's body language he could tell a grave expression had settled upon his face. "Come with me." The immortal told him simply, leading Gosai further into the temple high above the world. Without question the human martial artist followed him, wondering what he needed. --- Meanwhile, on Kame Island, Master Roshi and Enoki stared at the screen in silent horror. "How... how can he do that?" Megumi asked nervously. "We haven't done anything." "It doesn't matter." Enoki informed her, collapsing down onto Roshi's couch. "They control the police and the media. They can do anything they want and justify it to the world." Roshi noded, tapping his staff against the floor in thought. "But you are certainly not the only 'Matsuhito' family on this planet." The old master murmured. "This will cause chaos around the planet. Everyone with a name vaguely like that will most likely become a target." (Word Count: 312 Gosai Word Count: 1,620) |

Fear, sadness, words that explained azumi's current condition. She felt weak and alone. Alone in a dark room, with nothing and no one to hold on to, but the cold floor and the walls surrounding her. Suddenly a small streak of light entered the room, as a small shutter was opened and a harsh voice resonated from outside that shutter; "The lord wants you to be healthy, so eat," the voice spoke, instantly pushing a plate with warm food and cool fresh water through another shutter at the bottom of what could be defined as a door. Quickly she ran to the food, noticing it all looked very tasty and well prepared. To her own surpise, all of a sudden lights appeared in the room, clearing away the darkness and revealing a table and a chair at the side, even a small bed not much further. It all seemed so weird after having spend a night in complete darkness. Quietly she walked to the table and started to eat, hoping that her friends would be allright, especially Gosai, especially him. The moment a person is all alone, it truely feels the pain and the sorrow of years passed, the dark hole created in its soul, only expanding further through time. News-theme playes "this is channel six news, I dont know what to say...the entire world is in terror, riots everywhere. The area which has had the most uprising was West City, men and women are litteraly lynched by passing mobs. The message earlier today, send by an unknown source has caused panic everywhere. Children are crying for their lost parents, men and women run screaming over the street, searching for their loved ones, or being chased by violent mobs. The police is trying to maintain controle and in some places even helps the mobs." The anchor lady sips from her glass of water before resuming the news, while loosening the top button of her shirt,"What is happening to the world, that one single message could create such an uproar, lead to such violence...?" ...Location, unknown... "It seems that the people are doing exactly what I want, my dear boardmembers. Area, please go back to the facility and prepare the next fase, there is much to be done," a masked person spoke to the conference table of the boardmembers of the recently renamed Galactic intelligence Corporation, the former Universal Technologies. All the men and women smiled, knowing that whatever plan the chairman had, they would reap the benefit, yet just as Area left the room, a noise came from the door, while the monitor stopped functioning. All the boardmembers looked at the door, as it suddenly opened and armed men entered the room, with a beautifull woman following them. The boardmembers seemed to be less frightened as they recognised the woman. Suddenly a single plop could be heard, followed by all the boardmembers screaming and yelling, as one of them fell down to the table, the back of his head splattered against the wall, as a bullet had ripped it's way through the man's head. The sound of screams and yells was mixed with the sound of plopping guns and dropping bodies, while at the same time on the monitor, two black eyes appeared, indulging itself in this brutal massacre, while a diabolical laughter could be heard. "Your move Enoki. The game has started, Haahahahahahaaah!!" wc: 586 twc chill: 2229 twc saga: 3849 |

High on top of Korin Tower, Gosai stood over the immense vases wherein the past, present, and future of the world could be witnessed. The central vase was opened, allowing the human to see the present of the world, to see what was happening across the planet. Riots. Chaos. Panic and fear were the orders of the day. "Wh-what's going on?" Gosai asked, nervously as he watched a man being beaten in the street by a gathering of other citizens. "The world is going mad." The cat sage mumbled. "Ever since Universal Technologies showed up it's been getting worse, actually. Though, I hear they've changed their name to Galactic Intelligence Corporation. Pfuh." He added in disgust, spitting a bit as the vase showed the building currently housing the corporation. "Universal-" Technologies. A new voice finished the statement, loudly enough, despite being on a mental plane, that both human and cat could hear it. It used to be an aspect of Universal Terror but broke away under an old friend of yours, Gosai. "...Which one?" Gosai queried, while Korin merely listened understanding, it would seem, the magnitude of the being speaking with them. Chill. He's come to Earth, Gosai. And he's gunning for you and your family. Probably the whole planet. "So? You're supposed to be a god or something, right? Do something!" I can't. It's out of my jurisdiction. Remember, you got to train with me because of a clerical error. The voice sighed. Far off in the land of the dead, Gosai could almost imagine the Kai's slumped shoulders as he spoke to him. All I can do is give you a heads up on what's here, kid. --- At Roshi's Island, the situation was growing more tense as the reports of violence began filtering into the news reports from across the world. The old master found himself slumped on his couch, considering the implications. "The military will have to be called eventually to restore order." "But... wont that just incite more violence?" Megumi asked, looking nervously about from where she was sitting. "Most likely." Enoki mumbled, looking between the old master and his two animal companions. The turtle and the alligator. "Watch over my grandchildren, Kame Sen'nin." He requested, rising up to his feet. "G-grandpa!?" Megumi shouted, jumping to her feet. "What are you doing?!" "This battle started on Namek. If it's going to end, we have to do it now, and do it before he can cause any more damage to the world." "But Gosai-" "Is with another force. If I can even weaken Chill before he finds us... then I must at least try." The Matsuhito Patriarch murmured, moving towards the door. --- Unaware of the massacre going on in the building, Area had found her way back to the basement floors where the labs were located. The blond woman had been encountered first on Namek as well. Even then she was one of Chill's servants. She had turned on him however and attempted to join Gosai in the conflict. But, after their separation the monster had found her again and forced her back into his service. In some part of her mind, Area supposed she shoudl just be happy she was alive. Now, however, he was staring at a computer screen containing a very specific file. The information collected by Galactic Intelligence on Gosai and his entire family scrolled before her. "What are you planning?" She whispered. --- Azumi ate in utter silence, misery creeping in despite her opulent surroundings. Any enjoyment she found herself experiencing was quickly quashed by her recollection of the danger she was in, and that Gosai was in. She had always thought herself a strong woman, but even that perception was breaking down as the images in her mind changed. At first, she imagined breaking out herself... Now, she was thinking of Gosai breaking in and saving her. "I just want to know where he is. That he's safe." She mumbled forcefully. (Word Count: 672 Gosai Word Count: 2,292) |

At long last, the king of earth decided enough was enough, ordering his generals of the royal army to put a halt to the cause of this worldwide disturbance. He slowly walked to the conference room where he would find his generals, as he passed the guard, the small man noticed that they did not greet him. Strangely that wasn't all, as he noticed that their badges werent correct either. Thinking it might be just a new look of the army, he walked through the doors of the conference room and greeted the generals. He sat down at the long table, noticing that the other end of the table was completely shrouded in shadows, perhaps their was something wrong with the lights, the king though to himself. "This matter has taken far to long gentlemen," the king started his speech, "The entire world is in chaos and dissarray, this is not how it should be." The king coughed for a second and resumed his speech with diligent words, "We can not accept this, we should...?" "You should what?" a silver mask appeared from the shadows at the other end of the table, the eyes behind it filled with hatred and anger, enough menacing power exumed from those eyes to force the king to silence and back to his seat. "My dear king, you no longer have the authority to order these men around," the masked figure spoke with a sharp tongue, "I think the generals say the same, don't you my dear men?" Suddenly all the generals fell down on the table, revealing a hole in each of their necks, like they were pierced in their necks by an icepick or something. The king began to look rather pale at the sight of his generals being dead. "What, what have you done?" he asked with a terrorstruck voice. A slight, but smooth chuckle emerged from behind the king. A beautifull woman with silver hair and violet eyes slowly walked past the king's seat and stopped next to the masked figure. "I simply removed you from your duties, my king. Plus I gave your generals a long lasting vacation, heheh, the masked figure replied to the king's earlier question. "But dont be affraid, you will survive...for now, hahahaah. Suigintou, do your magic." As the masked figure and the beautifull woman left the conference room, a scream of anguish could be heard, piercing through the soul of any who heard it. The world was burning, cries of mercy and anguish filled its air, roars of anger and pain soon followed, chaos was born and refused to leave The entire army was mobilized, under the flag of GIC, they marched against the mobs, they marched, not for freedom, but for controle. As the sun began to set, the claws of evil started to choke the planet, while a vicious smile and cruel black eyes demanded total controle over it. wc: 504 twc chill: 2733 twc saga: 5025 |

Enoki's demeanor belied the tension of the situation as he walked through the nearest of the cities. Despite the situation he was able to pass through them with relatively little incident. Here, he was almost unknown, and the panicking populace only made it easier to slip through them. Those who attempted to accost the Matsuhito patriarch quickly found themselves dispatched by a few swift punches. He had no time to waste with them, and walked swiftly. The great flaw with the GIC's situation was that it was a publicly known company. It's assets were listed for easy access including properties owned. On top of that, the old man was reasonably intelligent. He was prepared for this. I can't fight you head on, Chill. Enoki thought to himself, pressing his hand to the steel frame of a nearby door. A simple shove and the lock gave in. It was meant to hold out normal humans, not those who had the training of the Matsuhito clan. But I can still damage your power here on Earth. I can destroy your assets. He thought to himself, slipping further and further into the building. It seemed he was seeking something specific... he paused upon realizing the door he had discovered was for the R&D division of the building. "Let's see what you're working on." He whispered, pressing hard upon the door... --- Area continued typing at her computer, running over information on one project or another. It seemed an odd amount of assets from GIC were being devoted to genetics research and cybernetics. "Trying to make mutant cyborgs?" The girl found herself asking. A question directed to no one in particular, given her belief she was alone. "Or just trying to fix your body, maybe?" She mumbled. It was true, the blond scientist had yet to see what the Changeling Tyrant was hiding behind his armor and mask, but she guessed it had to be something terrible. She also recalled his obsession with 'perfection' amongst his scientists on Namek. "What are you doing?" She whispered again. --- Azumi however could do little to help her situation. Several times, however, she had ended up throwing her body at the doorway, attempting to shatter it's hinges with blows that, for any normal human or material, would have been devastating. "Why didn't I take up Roshi's offer to train with him?" She growled, having forced all thoughts but anger at her situation away. She needed it, a fuel for her inner fire. If she was to escape, she knew she couldn't let herself become complacent or afraid. --- "So... what do I do?" Gosai asked, glancing at Korin even as he imagined South Kai standing next to the cat. You need to train more before you confront any of them! Came the Kai's immediate protest. It's not a fight you can win the way you are now. You need to think this through. "I probably shouldn't mention this then," Korin mumbled, looking into the scrying pool that searched into the 'past'. "but I think that Galactic... whatever kidnapped your girlfriend." "I don't have a girlf-... Azumi!?" He shouted, turning to the fur ball and lifting him up. "How can you be sure!?" In response, Korin could only point to the vat, allowing Gosai to peer into it's waters. Allowing him to watch the 'masked man' abduct her. "Who...?" He mumbled, allowing the immortal feline to drop back to the ground. (Word Count: 582 Gosai Word Count: 2,874 Total Word Count: 5,607) |

It was silent, deep down in the underground laboratory of GIC. The only sound to be heard was the constant humming of machines and the buzzing of a dozen monitors, all giving the image of a masked person. The silver mask glistened beneath the brightness of the sophisticated xenon lights. A dozen men and women in white coats and surgical dresscode walked around, with various tools and syringues. A load roar filled the place, as the mysterious figure's mask was surgically removed and dipped in a bath of medicinal alcohol to clean it from any bacteries and infectionous tissue. A face seemingly thorn to shreds was revealed, skin almost non existant, but adorned with two insanely alive eyes, carrying such hatred and disgust in them, rarely even seen amongst the wildest of predatorial animals. ... Enoki walked inside the large room, the smell of death was overwhelming, even though it seemed the room was neatly cleaned, the few reddish dots on the mohair carpet under the large table were without a doubt from a human source. The odor of ammoniak and ethanol still filled the place, which did confirm Enoki's hunch, that this place had seen death. He slowly walked out of the room, noticing that two black doors were at the end of the hall, one bearing an unknown insignia and one with a small plate saying "Executive's office". Both appealed Enoki's curiosity to find out what was truly going on. In the end, he chose to take the door bearing the unknown insignia, forcing it open rather easy and without a sound. As he walked inside the office a sudden shock went through his body as he saw a massive alien made armor standing behind a large desk. As he realized that the armor was nothing more than a decoration, he quickly ran to the chair behind the desk and sat down on it, opening the laptop on the desk. He had no problem with the password, as it seemed to be simply "perfection". As he watched the files on the computer, his eyes started to widen. "This...this is complete madness," the old man said, before opening a file under the name "classified". In front of his eyes was a recording of some kind of surgery or medical treatment of a masked person. as he was watching it, he noticed that both the date and the hour were at the exact same moment as the old man was snooping in the corporation's files. Then he saw them, those eyes, he remembered them from way back, from when he was still a young man. No matter how far you run, Enoki, I will find you and hunt you down. You will wish that you never crossed me." Those words were still etched in the old man's memory, words which he would never forget. He was still looking at the video as he suddenly heard a clacking noise on the floor outside the office, the sound of heels, expensive shoes. Quickly closing the laptop, he tried to establish a telepathic connection with his grandson, as suddenly the door opened, he could not believe his eyes. "You...you shouls be dead, I saw you die?!?" he yelled. "Really, how wrong of you," a female voice replied, bfore the sound of crashing concrete broke off the telepathic link. ... At the same time, soldiers marched through the cities of earth, soldiers wearing the GIC crest and adorned with the most modern weapons of science. The war had begun, the war of Earth's survival. wc: 595 twc chill:3328 twc saga: 6202 |

Enoki backed up slowly, attempting to keep his power suppressed. While it was true that with his new 'friend' having slipped into the room it was more than likely anyone important was already alerted to his presence, still there was no reason he should tip his hand just yet. "The dead really do have a way of... constantly coming back anymore. I remember when death was supposed to be permanent." The old man chuckled, keeping his composure well in the face of his crisis. "For you, it may be." The old man scowled, elbowing the wall behind him. There was certainly enough force to break through the material behind himself. Another shove from his back and he pushed through the entirety of the wall into a new room. Now it was all about the escape. He'd learned enough. Gosai! He called out, focusing on the power both had gained on Kanassa. Gosai, listen to me, we are all in greater danger than you know. Stay away from the GIC building, stay as far away as you can. What's coming... you aren't prepared for it yet. Gosai's response was swift although he seemed to be somewhat distracted. Grandpa? What's going on. Why shouldn't I go to the building? If you're there I can help yo- No! The Matsuhito patriarch shouted mentally. He cut off contact however, realizing he would need all of his focus for the simple act of escape. It took little effort to balance himself on the stairways' banisters and literally run down them. "The Matsuhito style's most secret and sacred technique. Applying the principals of motion, momentum, and thought. 'Chicken takes flight'." He chuckled to himself. So you run away until you can think of a better plan? The initial voice, the returned monster, taunted him. You make it sound so cowardly. Enoki responded, leaping from a banister and off to kick a passing soldier in the head. --- Megumi was silent, staring at the television set in stark horror as news anchors across the channels were declaring the 'sudden surprise attack' on the World Government. "It's like a revolution." She whispered. "And ominously bloodless one." Master Roshi added, placing a hand on Turtle's head quietly. (Word Count: 380 Gosai Total: 3,256 Total Word Count: 6,582) |

The shutter opened, alarming Azumi that she was watched again. She slowly stood up, waiting for the guard to speak, yet there was no voice that spoke, only the sound of boots tapping on the ground somewhere outside her cell. The voice she had expected to hear suddenly yelled at her; "Oy, you get back on the bed or we'll be forced to harm you," the guard barked loud and clear at Azumi. She complied, as she sat down on the bed and awaited further instructions. A man entered the room through a solid titanium sliding door, holding a syringe in his hand filled with a see-through substance. The man slowly approached her, while two other men entered while carrying an alien creature, belonging to the same species Azumi learned to hate after their encounter with Him on Namek. The man with the syringe injected Azumi in the artiry in her neck, sedating her for the time being. ... Azumi woke up, her eyelids still heavy, her mouth dry as a result from the injection of some sort of sedation. She lifted her back from the bed, sitting up straight. As she tried to look around, she saw the alien creature, trembling against the wall. She looked so inocent and scared, it touched Azumi's kind soul. "Hey you, don't be affraid. I wont hurt you, tell me why you're here?" Azumi asked the young female changeling. "I...I was brought here because I served someone who was hated by my captor. I know the true identity of the one who did this to us," the young changeling replied to Azumi's question. "I know, it's Chill, the changeling tyrant, I met him once, on namek. Is he the one that did this all to you?" Azumi asked again, "please tell me your name?" "Yes, he was the one that put me here. Be carefull, he is far more dangerous than ever before. He is no longer bound by the changeling law. He no longer follows the commands of lord Frost and our King." the girl answered to Azumi again, " My name...my name is Glacy." ... Enoki landed on a big skyscraper on the edge of West City, looking around if the woman followed him. There was no sign of her, but down below, on the streets the army was marching everywhere, slowly pressing together all uprising men and women. It seemed that the chaos was turning back to order, as suddenly a shot was fired, all hell broke loose. "Darling I told you there was no way out." wc: 436 twc chill: 3764 twc saga:7020 |

Azumi paused for a moment at these revelations. She'd never considered that Chill was anything more than some sort of anomaly. A singular, vicious entity that was amongst his own people what any sociopath would have been thought as amongst humans. The idea that, until Namek, he was considered to be just another member of his society chilled her. How many more like him could there be? How many that were even stronger? "He's become too dangerous." She continued to speak, and the more information the changeling gave away, the more Azumi felt an unsettling sinking in the pit of her stomach. "Before... he could still be retained. He was still under someone's command. Now? He can do whatever he wants, he has the power and resources to go alone with only a handful of individuals capable of challenging him." "L-like Gosai?" Azumi queried, shifting to pull her knees up to her chin. It frustrated her to feel so helpless. To be forced to rely on someone to save her. Glacy merely shook her head solemnly. "No. The only people who have a chance of defeating him... of driving him away... they don't care. They're too far off and too wrapped up in their own concerns. He'll put the entire planet under his thumb and his enemies to the sword in only a few hours." The young changeling assured her companion, looking at the ground. "You can't... can't be serious..." "I am. And I know that the only way to survive... is to at least pretend to obey. Maybe... maybe we'll find a way to escape. But for now, we have to obey them." The idea of obedience, while it made sense, left an undeniably bad taste in her mouth. It wasn't in her nature to submit so easily to another. Especially in the situation she found herself. --- There's always a way out. Enoki assured the voice with a wry smile upon his lips. It's just a matter of how willing we are to take that way. And if we're smart enough to keep looking around. The thought was comforting, and true, Enoki could see a way out but the Matsuhito patriarch hardly wished to take that exit. Gosai... He called out mentally once more. Stay away from West City. Take your sister someplace safe, but stay away from this city.[/color] He could only wait now, and hope his grandson would take his advice. After having relayed his message to Gosai, Enoki hopped down a few stories, landing on a flat roof below. slowly he took on a defensive stance and raised his arm toward the woman. "Koi!" he yelled at her, waiting for the beautifull woman to attack him, but in stead she simply hovered down to the rooftop and took out a cellphone, clicked it open and placed it at her ear. "Milord, the old geezer has used a telepathic link to talk to our main target...yes I've used my own telepathy to localize the link. Ofcourse milord, he is all yours, as you wish," the woman said as she put the cellphone back in her corset. Suddenly, before the old master could do anything, a trail of destruction came over the roof as the woman used her telekinetic powers to blow away half the roof, obstructing Enoki's vision for a few moments, but enough to get away. As the rubble cleared away, Enoki was looking at a person completely covered in black robes and wearing a silver mask. Enoki tried to figure out who this person was, but the masked figure apparantly used some kind of Ki disruption to hide away his ki and signature. he looked at the person, suddenly noticing the black, dark eyes. "you...?" he yelled in confusion. ... While Gosai was standing with Korin, suddenly a voice whispered in his head; " She's coming...I'm coming?!?" ... Azumi sighed after Glacy's explanation on the truth. She turned a bit, stretching out, she took on a more comfortabe pose. "So, is there any chance to defeat Chill?" she asked the young changeling. "Actually there is one thing. Though he has become much stronger and more powerful than ever before, I heard he has some kind of condition which is slowly tearing him apart. I only thought it was a ruor, but a woman with weird cybernetic appendages visited me when I was in another cell, she told me the rumor was true, that he was truely losing his power again," Glacy answered azumi with a hopeful look on her face."There is however one problem, he is closing in on the cure for this disease and if he has it, no one will be able to stop him. He could even try and fight the king of my race to obtain more power," she quickly stated. wc: 402 twc Chill: 4166 twc saga: 7847 |

"You've looked better." The old Master asserted, attempting to keep his wits about him. He knew what kind of situation he was in and he knew who he was staring down. He also knew, with the grim resignation of one who has fought his share of battles, that he couldn't win. Even with his adversary weakening as he was. The monster remained silent, like some great beast from a terrible story. Enoki realized what he would have to do. He needed to draw the fight out, to make the beast exert itself. I know you're listening to me. He declared mentally. Whether to the feminine interloper or to the monster himself he wasn't sure. We both know how this will end. The only question is how much damage I can inflict before I go down. He continued resolutely while assuming a stance. "Come at me." Enoki declared at last. --- Azumi jumped to her feet, some hope returning to her expression as she pounded one fist into her open hand. "Then we'll just have to stop him from finding it. If he doesn't get cured he wastes away and we never have to deal with him again." "If it were that easy, I could have done it myself. Glacy commented, her tail idly tapping the floor. Right now, he isn't the biggest problem. It's the resources at his command... --- Gosai's expression changed in a moment when he got his grandfather's plea. Being the type of person he was, there wasn't really any way he could have been expected to stay at Korin's tower. "Sorry guys," he declared verbally to both Korin and South Kai. "but I'm going to have to do this. I'll need to hit this problem head on. Any pearls of wisdom, Master Kai?" None I can think off... gimme a minute to check North Kai's rolodex. He might have something on this guy in it... South Kai's response was ended with a noise like a phone being hung up. Korin was silent as well, patting the boy on his calf, where he could most easily reach him. "Good luck, Gosai." "Thanks." He offered with a smile, hopping up onto the guard railing before taking off at full speed towards the clash of power he felt. --- Word Count: 391 Gosai Word Count: 4,072 Total Word Count: 8,238 |

"Don't go to him, he'll expect you to do so," a female voice warned Gosai inside his head. "Please I beg you. I wait, wait Gosai. She's here." ... The streets were filled with soldiers, police and citizens scurrying around. Most of them already realized what was going on. On top of a large skyscraper, Enoki was going to go head to head with the same monster that almost crushed him on Namek; Chill. Though below the streets were filled with noise, the two men stood in complete silence, but the wind. Slowly the changeling tyrant took something from underneath his robes. Enoki's eyes widened, when he watched as the terrible monster plunged a large syringe inside his neck, incerting the thick green fluid inside his neck. "Sorry for the wait, my old friend. It seems you're going against me again. This time he wont save you though," the masked changeling said to Enoki with his broken voice suddenly seeming to repair a bit. "I am planning to enjoy this. No worries, your grandson wont be here to disturb us, he will be...occupied." Chill's hand rose to his face, slowly prying off the silver mask and revealing the mumyfied face. His skin was almost completely gone, dry as paper, hanging losely on most places. But his eyes, those dark eyes were still full of life, full of hatred and anger. His robes were thrown off a second later, revealing his black jumpsuit stretching to right beneath his chin, with his double armor protecting him. Enoki noticed that the armor was different, but he did not thought of it as an important fact for this battle. "Now than, shall we?" Chill inquired as he stretched out his arm and signaled the old man. In the blink of an eye, he vanished, together with Enoki. A second later, they both reappeared, with Enoki clearly having the upperhand with his flexible and rapid movements. "You seem to be weaker than before," Enoki said calmly while they were exchanging punches in mid air. Just a second after he said this, he twisted around Chill and with a well aimed double palmthrust against the monster's shoulders, he knocked the tyrant towards the ground. With a loud crash, the monster plummeted inside an officebuilding near the GIC main building. As the building's top half collapsed towards the street, Chill slowly emerged from the ruins, black blood trickling down from his jaw. He slowly wiped the blood away and started to laugh, "Well well, who would've thought I would be needing more than ten percent of my power to beat you." ... "I think it is my turn to help you people out I guess," Glacy suddenly said to Azumi with a smile on her face. "If there is any chance you guys could stop him, I'll help." Before Azumi could even react, Glacy had run towards what she believed was the door and lifted her tail, screaming and yelling loudly, hoping to get the guards' attention. Suddenly the shudder of the door opened and a voice asked what was happening. Now knowing where the door was, Glacy smiled; "Nothing is wrong...for us at least," she said when she suddenly punched a hole through the door, grabbing the guard by his throat. "Now be a good boy and open this door." wc: 578 twc chill: 4744 twc saga: 8816 |

Get out of my head Was the human's sole assertion to the voice. He'd made up his mind and no force was going to stop him, at least not at this point. His body was already pushing itself as he kept his senses extended. Looking for his grandfather's ki signature. Looking for any signature he knew. --- Enoki grunted, not having the chance for a snappy remark. Chill's fist caught him in the chest, sending the old man skidding across the ground and creating a small trench in the process. "Heh... that's... only ten percent?" The old master coughed into his hand, slowly beginning to stand up, his legs actually shaky as he grit his teeth. Before he could offer much more resistance the Changeling Tyrant struck him again, across the head. Enoki was seeing stars but managed to remain standing, stumbling backwards again and raising up his hands in an attempt to ward off the blows. An effort which was, as much successful as it not. Like his grandson however, Enoki was nothing if not resilient and continued his attempts to pivot and block. Trying to force the monstrous warrior to, at the very least, expend more energy than he himself was using up as well. "Not bad... but you're... getting sloppy." --- Azumi froze in surprise. Her 'cellmate' had apparently been powerful enough to escape from their prison at any given moment. It was a thought that left the girl slightly suspicious but still, beggers can't be choosy, so she began walking up behind Glacy. "So... uh... what now, Glacy?" The girl asked nervously, she was starting to wonder if she really did have the strength to keep up, not simply with Gosai, but with all of the people she was beginning to encounter these days. "Now we get out of here," was Glacy's witty answer, she smiled cutely and walked through the open hallway. "If I'm not mistaken, this is the third underground floor of GIC's research facility of North City," Glacy said, as she looked at the building's fire escape-plan. "Allright now, seriously...euhm...Glacy who are you?" Azumi asked, still quite suspicious. "I told you, I'm Glacy," Glacy replied with a smile on her face. "I was send by Lord Frost to assassinate the Envyncar of Rath and former duke of the second house of Lords. Meaning I came here to end lord Chill on orders of the leader of my people. He has become a liability to our cause, but even I, the strongest amongst lord Frost's servants should be carefull, for Chill was lord Frost's best assassin during his younger years. He has a record of over twothousand assassinations andmissions for Lord Frost. I hope that somehow answers your question?" Glacy said with an innocent smile on her face. ... Enoki smiled, even though his face was quite battered, he smiled, taunting Chill even more. "Why wont you just use all of your power, if what you're using now is really just ten percent?" the old man yelled at Chill. "Oh wait, I think I understand, you're affraid I might even beat you when you're at your best." "Wrong old man, my power is far more terrible than you can imagine, yet if I use it all in my current state, the strain on this useless body might cause permanent damage," Chill replied in anger. Again Enoki smiled, knowing that now he had a way to make Chill drain more energy than he would do on his current powerlevel. "Let me just see that power of yours, because I think you are simply affraid, affraid of my grandsn beating you," Enoki yelled, hoping this could somehow force the monster to exert his full power. "What? How dare you old fool, how dare you? For that I will make sure you understand the true meaning of terror." Suddenly Chill grunted deeply, as his power started to rise to levels Enoki had only seen once. It seemed as if the air begun to way more heavy and denser than before, as Chill slowly reached his peak. His muscles bulked up, his dark aura seeping out of his body and then suddenly blazing like the black flames of Hell. In a sudden massive outburst, Chill completed the sequence in which he had gathered his power. A shockwave coarsed through the air, shattering all windows of the buildings nearby. "Be prepared to know the meaning of why I was called the monster of planet frieza. I'll show you the true meaning of terror and I will make you suffer, like a hundred years ago, you will see the true power of the lord of darkness." ... Gosai raced through the air, as suddenly in a blur, a woman appeared in front of his eyes, forcing him to stop in his tracks. His eyes widened, his heartbeat became faster, for he knew this woman, but still he was startled. "South Kai send me," she said, tapping with her hand on the hilt of the blade that hung behind her back. "So another insect has come to play?" a voice suddenly said from above Gosai and the woman. wc: 583 twc chill:5327 twc saga:9699 |

Azumi was silent for several long seconds, considering if she could really trust her 'fellow prisoner'. But, seeing no alternative she finally nodded. "Yeah, I suppose it's good enough." The human girl admitted before moving to follow behind the Changeling female. "How far down are we, anyway?" She queried at last. --- Enoki took a step back, and another. Chill's aura was how he remembered it. From Namek. And from that day years ago when he was one of many fighting an encroaching darkness. A corrupted ki, like an old rusty sword. Darkness given a form almost. It was oppressive, potent, nearly robbing the old man of his breath. But he stood firm. First tenant of Saiko Karada, the Matsuhito Patriarch thought to himself. never, ever, let 'em see you sweat. He gave a small chuckle before assuming a combative stance. He would not go down easily. No matter what happened, he would fight. "You're right," Enoki admitted, buying time. Thinking of a plan. "I am afraid. Perhaps more of you than anything else in my life. We do have quite a bit of history together, you and I. But that's how I'm different from nearly everyone else you've dealt with. I don't let my fear control me. I admit it's there... and it makes me strong." "You've started to go senile, if you believe your fear makes you anything but weak old man. Chill's voice came, deep, angry. The old man continued to mock him!? Even when his fate was clear, he continued talking. Taunting! The first attack struck truest, as is often the way of sudden bursts. Enoki's cheek took the brunt of Chill's fist, sending the old man sprawling across the ground. Momentum, however, allowed him to return to his feet quickly before he rushed into the fray once more. Chill clearly held the advantage in power and even speed, especially in speed. But, Enoki held on, if only barely. He was a master and if nothing else was capable of anticipating his foe. "Your body betrays you more than you realized." He huffed between sending out his own attacks. No, he knew they couldn't fell the beast before him but they could anger it. Make it sloppy. And make it burn more of it's energy. If he couldn't win now, his grandson could win later. My story ended a long time ago, but yours is just starting to be told, Gosai. He whispered through his link to the boy. --- Gosai paused in mid-air, surprised both by the rather fatalistic message of his grandfather and, most importantly, the appearance of Meloi. "How did you...?" he began asking, before the spirit in flesh interrupted him. "For heroes, one or more days to return to life can be earned from King Yemma. With South Kai's own recommendation, he was willing to allow me to come here and offer you support." She explained just before the voice finally reached the duo. "I'd hardly call myself an insect." She declared, looking upwards, hand resting firmly on the handle of her sword. "And really, do you think you can take both of us? I'm not holding back this time. In too much of a hurry." Gosai asserted as well. "So move, or get kicked out of the way." (Word Count: 556 Gosai Word Count: 4,928 Total Word Count: 10,255) |

"I'd say around 400 feet below the ground, according to this plan, we're in the detainment area. I think Chill keeps both his enemies and his projects in this place. If we are lucky, we might reach this elevator here," Glacy said while pointing at a red dot on the map with 'elevator' written beneath it, "Without alerting the guards ofcourse. This elevator seems to go up to the second floor beneath the ground. I see, clever thinking Chill, there is no quick way out it seems." "What does that mean," Azumi inquired. "It means that he will have the time to capture or detain any intruders and or excaped people," Glacy replied with what could be called a frown, on her face. A noise suddenly came from one of the corners nearby, startling Glacy and Azumi. Glacy quickly grabbed Azumi's hand and started to run off, pulling the girl along with her. ... Suigintou smiled and vanished, suddenly she reappeared right in front of Gosai, her lips firmly pressed on his, while her hand touched his chest. "I'd like to see you try," She said as she released her lips from his. A sudden streak of pain went through Gosai's body, like as if his soul was ripped out of it. When the pain stopped, both he and Meloi, who was shocked by the entire scene, saw that Suigintou was holding a simple black feather. Slowly the feather vanished in a sparkling light, while in an instant, two large black wings rose from suigintous back. "Well than, now that's cleared, let's enjoy the show shall we?" Suigintou chuckled, while all around Gosai and Meloi, over a dozen Chill's appeared, at least, just like Chill was half a year ago. ... "Let's end this right here and now, shall we?" Chill roared, as he vanished in thin air. Enoki knew what Chill was doing, but even so, the monster's speed was just too overwhelming. As Chill reappeared, he grabbed Enoki from behind, squeezing all air out of the old man's body. Yet to the changeling's surprise, Enoki slammed his head backwards, causing Chill to reach for his face. "You...rrhm...are indeed strong, but you lack the proficiency in battle, the skills, heheh," Enoki taunted, rubbing the back of his head. "Damn, he's tough," he thought to himself as he watched the changeling rush towards him again. wc: 412 twc chill: 5739 twc saga:10667 |

Azumi found herself sighing several times as the duo made their way to the elevator. 'Damsel in distress' wasn't really the role she wanted to play but in the situation she was in, Azumi would simply have to grin and bare it. She wasn't as strong as Gosai anymore, that had been becoming painfully obvious and she didn't know the compound nearly as well as Glacy did. Once again she was a 'sidekick'. "What do we do when we get out, anyway? Where is Gosai?" --- Enoki's breath came in gasps already. He knew he no longer had the vigor to keep up with Chill's power. Everything with them was coming down to what age could teach a warrior. All the little tricks and all the little feints. The aged human took a few steps back, not a lot, but with the distance he already had between himself and the Changeling Monster it would mean Chill would have to advance, wasting small bits of his own stamina. Small, but over time they would add up. And Chill took the invitation eagerly, charging the human with punches coming like a flurry, and the distance between the two in raw power was made apparent again as the Matsuhito Patriarch realized how few of the attacks he was actually keeping up with. He needed a new strategy, he couldn't continue battling Chill upfront. "You keep talking about... about making me afraid again." He puffed, nearly collapsing to one knee after a particularly savage blow from Chill. If he had to guess he was suffering from internal bleeding. "But that's just it," Enoki began to laugh now, drawing ever more ire from the 'Monster of Frieza'. "you're the monster from my era. And all monsters of the past are eventually replaced by new monsters. You've been passed by, Chill." He was almost cackling now. "You insolent old fool!" Chill screamed, raising his hands to attack Enoki again. This time, the old man was able to evade it, if just barely. The building behind him, though demolished by Chill's assault, went unheeded by either warrior. "Even if you repair your body," The old man wheezed, pushing himself back up to his full height. "even if you rebuild your empire you will never again be what you were. Your peak is long gone, you'll only be a pale imitation of what you once were. And the new monsters will continue rising... and soon, you wont even be a nightmare." Chill let out a bellow of fury before lashing out at Enoki again, all of his limbs coming to the forefront. The old man put up a valiant effort to protect himself but soon was grounded by Chill. Each blow smashing him further into the center of an ever growing crater. And still the old man laughed. --- "I don't have time for this crap." Gosai growled, looking at the new Chills surrounding them. "I don't have time for your tricks!" He shouted, reaching deep inside himself and drawing on his power. He wouldn't hold back here. He couldn't. The 'human dynamo' ignored the, hopefully, illusory opponents and launched himself right for Suigentou, drawing back his arm to throw a punch at her. A strike aimed for her temple, he wanted a quick knockout. Or a quick death. The thought was... unusually morbid for him. Meloi, on the other hand, unsheathed her blade lunging for a thrust straight to the neck of the nearest 'Chill'. "Gosai, perhaps you should take your leave of this fight and go to your grandfather?" She suggested. "I can hold the line here." (Word Count: 604 Gosai Word Count: 5,532 Total Word Count: 11,271) |

Just as both Azumi and Glacy stepped out of the elevator, they saw that they had a welcoming party. "We wont let you escape, girls," a female voice spoke from behind the dozens of armed guards. "yeah heheh, you'll die, die I tell you, die!!" another voice spoke from another direction. "Seize them!" the female voice ordered the guards. In a single second, all the armed guards rushed at Azumi and Glacy. "You think you can handle these?" Glacy asked. ... "So you think you can outlast me, waiting for your grandson. Suigintou must've already encountered him by now, which means he'll come straight for you. I know my enemies old fool, I know what makes them...tic," Chill said to the old man. He knew what he was saying, he knew Gosai. He had studied the young man, made a psychological profile. He only had to wait, but when Gosai would appear, he would simply force him to show everything he had, every last bit of power. "You see, I have no intentions of killing him old man. I will use him, his hatred, his rage, his sorrow. I will use him and when he is of no more use to me, I'll dispose of him, like I will dispose of you." Just as he ended his speech, Chill started to grunt, his skin ripping open all over, as giant muscles appeared. His mask shattered, revealing his true face. His horns grew to three feet long carved spears, his body growing to a nine feet high tower of muscles, with massive hands with long clawed fingers. "Killing you on the other hand, will be a delight," the monster said, before smashing his fist against the old man's gut. Grabbing Enoki's face, Chill started to fly through the city, while rain poured down and stormclouds packed up in the sky. "You can't stop me, you're grandson can't stop me and as we speak...my daughter is poisoning his friends mind, hahaha!" Chill roared as he started to smash and drive Enoki through the walls of some skyscraper he had just flown in to. He roared and laughed, as he smashed enoki through some concrete floors. And as he released him, by throwing him outside, he vanished. Enoki could feel every bone break inside his body, when Chill reappeared out of nowhere, driving his knee inside Enoki's chest and sending him to the ground with a violent axehammer. A violent shock went through the ground, as Enoki's impact created a large crater in the middle of the street. he felt Chill''s hand squeeze around his throat when he lifted him up in the air. "One last try," Enoki whispered, while gathering all the energy he had left to create his final move. "Please Gosai, run, run while you still can." ... Suigintou was shocked when she saw Gosai rush at her, quickly throwing her hand forward, she blocked his punch and curled around him, her free hand touching hi chest ever so soft. "Do you hear that delicious sound?" she whispered in his ear, "That is the sound of defeat." Meloi was handling the opponents with ease, yet she quickly grew exhausted, as it seemed there were more of these 'fake' Chill's than she had expected. "End it!" suigintou yelled at the AS13's. Just as they got their order, they started to combine in a large hulking mass, as they had all gathered, they started to form one massive beast, resembling Chill in his earlier first transformation. Standing with his feet on the ground, the monstrous beast rose to its full hight, standing over two hundred feet tall. While it roared, its massive hand reached for Meloi, who could not react out of pure surprise. As the hand started to crush her, she screamed. "Who will you save Gosai, her or your grandfather. Let me warn you, if the woman dies now, she will be gone, not in the next dimension. No, it'll be as if she never existed." wc: 694 twc chill:6433 twc saga:11965 |

"I thought I'd never get a chance to show off." Azumi declared, cracking her knuckles with a grin. She charged in against the security officers with a glee she hadn't felt since this whole thing began. She was finally getting a chance to be useful and remind herself that she was, objectively, still a very powerful martial artist and with that in mind she met her antagonists head on. Her hands were blurs to the human eye, leaving distinct cracks in the armor of each opponent. It lasted only a few moments before the guards slumped to the ground, leaving the human female grinning triumphantly as she looked over them. "Oh, it's been a long time since I got to actually fight someone I could win." --- Enoki's vision was dimming. He wasn't going to get another chance to do this, he knew it. And even then there was no guarantee that he could win. But the game had changed, and he had to adapt with it. "I wont allow you... to touch my grandson." The old master gasped, weariness was beginning to overtake him. His body was shutting down, but his mind continued to scream at him to stay active. He had to keep fighting as long as necessary to save Gosai. Whatever this monster could want from him, he could not allow it to come to pass. Focus. Control. The Matsuhito patriarch reminded himself. Slowly, the outline was forming around his body. Not an aura, but a very minor display of his own master. The old man's feet began moving slightly into a new position his body better leveraged for the coming attack. The ground splitting beneath his feet, leaving a groove in the pavement from each foot's movement, cracks radiating outward. The aura began moving slowly, focusing at first on his right arm as he chambered the limb, slowly gaining greater focus, glowing more brightly, an opaque white. "Just what are you doing, old man?" Chill demanded, only have interested in what he was witnessing. Surely, whatever desperate trick the old man was trying to employ couldn't harm him? But to allow him to attempt it... to crush the last of his hopes... It was far too tempting an opprotunity to let pass. The Changeling Tyrant stood firm, waiting the aged human's, assuredly final, attack. "It's a very special move, Chill. The ultimate attack of the Matsuhito school. The Zenryoku. All my power, in a single blow!" He shouted, charging forward, his steps cracking and shattering pavement beneath them, the old man's speed was incredible, but still leagues below what he needed. His fist, however, contained all the hope of the battle. "This, is the fist of the protector!" "Insolent old man!" Chill declared with a laugh. "You could magnify your power by a dozen and still never harm me!" --- Gosai shook his head, for a moment his powers of speech abandoning him. He needed to focus, he couldn't become distracted by desire of the flesh... regardless of how much he enjoyed them. "I notice you're not mentioning who's defeat, Suigentou." The young martial artist declared, hoping to sound more confident than he was currently feeling. On the edges of his awareness he could feel it. He could feel his grandfather's strength. Growing, but flickering at the same time. What it could mean, he had no idea. Only that he had to escape as soon as possible. He had to get to his grandfather. But he had to save Meloi as well. Academically, the answer was obvious: Meloi could cease existing, if Suigentou wasn't lying. On the other hand, his grandfather would still get sent to the afterlife. Any advice, South Kai? He asked, looking for any other view on the matter he could obtain. Sorry, kid. Wise advice isn't my forte in this kind of situation... The deity admitted, somewhat miserably. Even if i had some to offer, I have a bit of a conflict of interest. Gosai nodded, before lashing out at Suigentou at last. His hand flashed quickly, reaching to grab the woman by the neck. "Call them off." He hissed, attempting to pull her closer. "Call them off, now." Meloi for her part, continued fighting valiantly, slashing at the reconstituted AS13 with her blade, however, as they began joining together, she took what she hoped was her best chance, sheathing her blade and unleashing a heated beam of ki, attempting to engulf the grey matter, and perhaps... just perhaps... incinerate it while it was vulnerable. "Seems it's our turn," the two armed people said as the emerged from the darkness. One was female without a mistake, the other without a doubt male. They rushed at insane speed towards Azumi, lashing out with their edged wristblades, instantly cutting through the girl's shirt, forcing her backwards. "Please, a bit longer Azumi, I almost found us a safe path through the base floors. Hold em off for just a few seconds, I'll help you in a bit." ... Just as Enoki's fist connected with Chill's chest, a bright light erupted from it, while the old man yelled with all his might, "Zen...ryokuuu!!" The ground cracked open, the light consuming the tyrant completely. He was throwing every last bit of his energy inside this very attack, yet then it happened, something he hoped would never happen. A deep diabolical laughter erupted from inside the bright light, such an intimidating laughter, such dark tone, it even struck fear in Enoki's heart for just a bit, for it was the same laughter, always that same laughter that still haunted his dreams after so many years. His master, sensei Makoro was charging up his final attack, while all of the others simply tried their best in at least holding back the monster. His blade sliced through their muscular bodies like a knife through butter. The young man watched as his master finally unleashed his most powerful attack on the armored monster, a bright flash of light consuming it in whole, yet then it happened, a deep diabollical laughter erupted from within. "Here is where it ends..." the voice suddenly said calmly, as a large armored hand pierced though Enoki's master's chest, ending the honorable warrior's life in an instant "This is where it ends..." a dark voice calmly said from inside the bright light. Enoki suddenly coughed up some blood, as the disturbing sound of flesh and bone being ripped apart and pierced through resonated through the air. A massive skinless, yet clawed hand stuck right through the old man's abdomen. A cry of pain erupting from within, the light faded away, showing a seemingly unharmed Chill in front of him. The monster's foot pressed itself against the old man's chest, thrusting him backwards and off the changeling's now bloodstained hand. Enoki landed at the edge of the crater with a shock, while coughing up blood again. His hands pressed firmly against the hole in his abdomen, yet he knew it wouldn't help. He remained conscious, but only barely. He needed all his energy, just to remain in a conscious state, watching how the monstrous tyrant closed in on him, just the same as before, yet this time, he was not young, nor was his opponent weakened. "This will be the end," Enoki thought to himself, relaying this thought via telepathy to both Azumi and Gosai, yet also Gosai's sister, who remained unaware of what was actually going on. ... "Tears welled up in Suigintou's eyes, due to the pain in her neck. "Why Gosai, why do you always do this to me?" She said, tears rolling down her cheeks, she turned wriggled herself loose from his grip, turning to the roaring beast that survived the heatwave send by Meloi. "You can try to beat it, but do know that it fights like my master, it knows how you move and how your techniques work," Suigintou said. She turned to Gosai again, jumped at him and softly grabbed his head, pressing her lips on his again, while her thoughts intertwined with his. "It's almost over my dearest, just choose me and you'll live. Choose me and you'll never feel this aweful pain and suffering again." wc: 631 twc chill: 7064 twc saga:13366 |
