"It's funny, huh? Last time we were on this planet together..." Bra said, biting her lower lip as she finished off the sentence short. She finds humor in this…? The blue haired girl walked slightly to a distance from Bebi after she spoke. She sat on the tall natural grass of the planet with her knees up and her hands resting there on top of them. Her expression looked nervous, to say the least, from what the Tuffle could tell from closely watching her every move. That was confirmed from her fidgeting and the long pause before she finally spoke again. "Look, I understand if you hate me. I really do. After I heard rumors that you died, I felt bad and told myself if I ever got the chance I’d apologize. So...I’m...sorry." Bra then nervously spat out with elongated silence before finally slithering out her apology to the Android. What? "…If you want me to disappear, just say the word…" Bra added, before Bebi could actually respond. Bebi winced at the apology. For the first time in their current encounter, Bebi finally showed some sort of an expression on his face. The girl before him was bred straight into the gang that roamed with him. She was taught the ropes, she knew the ropes, she was forced into the ropes and by him of all people. She had shown the ability to work her magic with Bebi and also against him. Now she was apologizing…That was something that would have never been leaving the words of any of his band of ruffians. She was different, however, in more ways than one, as well. Disappear? You must be out of your fucking mind bitch! People like you need to be watched…People like you need to be in line of sight…at…all…times… “Accepted…” Bebi said with his shocked expression wiping itself from his face to be replaced by a smile and almost soothing voice. The Android walked closer to the girl then, so that he was directly in front of her then. Their toes were nearly touch, and strangely, in his current state, even though she was sitting, they were nearly eye to eye. His glassy eyes never flinched as he stared at her with the grin he had painted on. His mouth hardly moved then right before he spoke. “If you ever attempt something like that again, peaches…I will not hesitate to share you a spot with me in Hell for the rest of your living life and afterwards. I can swear to you that I will make sure that you will have to see King Yemma with your remains in a bucket that had been picked up by a shovel…” Bebi whispered very softly with the same friendly grin plastered on his face. “Do you understand?” Bebi asked to confirm that she had properly heard his words clearly. Bebi gave off a wink then and then extended his arm to the blue haired girl to help her back to her feet. There was work to be done, and oddly, the Tuffle felt a certain gravity of happiness knowing that Bra had made it during his disappearance. Yes, he understood her ways. They were his ways, after all. She had attempted something that he, himself, would have tried. She had, and was, still his companion. Loyalty was hard to discover in the bunch that surrounded him. It was only a spit distance away from treachery. In their world, there was no stereotypical friend. Don’t leave me again… “I’m back, however…so, don’t worry…” Bebi said then, almost as a reassurance or something in thoughts that he knew were plaguing the minds of those who he had left, and to his own. A deep flush of red crossed the beautiful face, in an embarrassing act of blushing. Bra could almost feel the heat radiate off her cheeks as the tuffle spoke to her. There had been very few times in the past that caused her to blush! “If you ever attempt something like that again, peaches…I will not hesitate to share you a spot with me in Hell for the rest of your living life and afterwards. I can swear to you that I will make sure that you will have to see King Yemma with your remains in a bucket that had been picked up by a shovel…” Bebi said in a soft, almost serene voice. His lips were curved into a smile as he spoke. “Do you understand?” He added afterwards. She took in each word carefully, noting what Bebi really meant, and how he meant it. Just the fact she wasn't attacked now meant alot in regards to how the tuffle felt toward the half-Saiyan. Afterall, she did just witness a complete stranger become nothing more than goo in less than a minute! It was a relief that she didn't end up the same way. "Yes, I understand," Bra said in reply. She debated on adding additional comments to reinforce her statement, but quickly decided against it. Seeming too eager would just put her deeper in the hole. So she left it at that quick and simple answer. Bebi gave off a suspicious wink before extending one hand out to the female in a gesture to help her up. Like a good friend, Bra accepted by placing her hand in his with a smile, and rising to her feet. Not too far from them stood the other two, Fonos and Digu, still waiting. Neither seemed to be talking. “I’m back, however…so, don’t worry…” Bebi said, interrupting the Saiyan's current train of thought. "Err...how, exactly? Nevermind, i'm sure that story is just a bit too long for now. You have people waiting. But tell me...what are you doing here on Namek?" Bra questioned. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders now that the tuffle and half-Saiyan were on good terms now. Well, better terms. It didn't take a rocket scientist to tell there would be trust issues, and possibly some anger there. But Bra knew that didn't pose any problems. Nobody could ever stay mad at the princess for very long. Nobody. (Word Count: 421) (Total Count: 3056) (Thread Count: 22,352) |

"Er...how, exactly? Never mind, I’m sure that story is just a bit too long for now. You have people waiting. But tell me...what are you doing here on Namek?" Bra asked, as it was becoming apparent to Bebi that she was more relaxed now. The Tuffle lingered on the initial question for a minute. He thought about how he could answer her fully, but in all honesty, the complete answer had not been discovered, yet. He knew for a good bit how he came about. He had been found, a piece of him found, and then turned over into the hands of the winged warrior. From there, experiment after experiment had lead to nothing, but failure after failure. For some unknown reason, what they saw with no results had lead straight to his reincarnation, one might say. The ending of that brought about that beginning was the missing part, though. Bebi cocked a brow then towards the second half of the ranting that Bra had stumbled in to. She didn’t have any clue of the situation that was happening there on planet Earth. She didn’t know about the stranger appearing and laying waste to cities and making handy work of hundreds of thousands of humans. A grin cracked as he thought about the play, but then he figured it won’t be the same for Bra. She was form planet Earth. Everything that she knew as a home was there. In that moment, Bebi couldn’t help, but reflect on his once almost forgotten home. When the words almost forgotten was used, it was forgotten by every being that floated out there in the universe, except for Bebi himself. He was all that was left, and that was hardly much at all. He would always consider himself a Tuffle, it was his mind after all, but his body was made up of everything else that existed out there. His mind and some genetics was all there was left of the Tuffle Empire that the Saiyans had stripped from him. “Planet Earth is under attack…” Bebi just bluntly said without trying to hold any sympathy in his words. “A strange alien showed up and has destroyed South City. I am quite sure that is not the end of it, either.” Bebi then said as the two continued to walk towards the other two warriors, Fonos and the stranger. “I have something of the aliens and it has brought me here to planet Namek. I intend on using the information that I took against the alien.” Bebi then conclude with his conversation with Bra. The Tuffle stopped there just to the left side of Fonos. He stared up at the winged warrior who was locked into a conversation with the stranger. That was of no concern with the Android, however. The conversation should have never been started. The stranger had come with the Namekian and deserved no right to be there amongst the Tuffle and his company. In his own mind, the stranger had prolonged his intrusion, and existence, for far too long. “I suggest you kill him quickly, Fonos. I am tired of watching you two flirt. He’s just an obstacle in our way…” Bebi said as he looked up to the taller winged warrior. “We have no time for this nonsense. Remove him, or I will…” Bebi then said, shifting his glare from Fonos and onto the stranger. As the thought crossed his mind, Bebi looked across the horizon. His eyes glanced over Bra and Fonos for a quick bit, as if taking count. They then reached out to stare into nothing, over his shoulder. His components started to make quick work of the surrounding area until finally locking on a set of familiar numbers. It was none other than Chaos, who he had sent out on his own to cause some mess across the planet for reasons regarding the mission. “Chaos, get en route to my position now…” Bebi muttered through his communication link that had locked on to his partners. Bebi had no intention on putting Chaos against the stranger who was there. Theer was no reason. The three of them could handle the fool without any problem. Bebi’s mind was only resting on the fact that they had fallen behind, and Chaos had surely caused a little ruckus across the pathetic planet by then. They all needed to group back up. It was just a lucky break that if the stranger persisted in being a nuisance, Chaos would be there to handle the light work. It was tasks like that, that the individual had been quite handy in. "Planet Earth is under attack..." Bebi said. The words, while said with a rather calm and uneventful tone rang out louder than as if the tuffle had screamed them in her ear. “A strange alien showed up and has destroyed South City. I am quite sure that is not the end of it, either.” He added to the already devastating statement. Bra's heart seemed to lose itself, falling from it's position in her chest. She felt a noticeable drop as the words sunk into her head. Destroyed!? Under attack...by who? By what? Why? Is her family alright? Her mom, dad, grandparents? Friends?! Too many thoughts ran through her mind at once. "..What? Are you serious, Bebi? Do you know of anything about the happenings in Capsule Corp by chance? Are my mom and dad ok, do you know?" Bra asked, her emotions plainly written across her face. It wasn't often the half-Saiyan left herself so vulnerable, but this news was something that struck her hard. If the tuffle had gathered a crew and headed to this rather backwater planet, all regarding some information that involved the happenings on Earth, it was obviously important. Bebi wasn't one to chase phantoms; especially in times like this. "Ok, I want in. I don't care if you don't trust me enough to tell any details, Bebi, but i'm in! Earth is my home. Besides, you might be a little rusty. So someones gotta watch your back!" Bra said with a smile at the attempt to add a little humor to the situation. The Saiyan and Tuffle reached the other two, the winged warrior, and the green-clad stranger, who still stood in their same spots. As if waiting for them to get back. It was odd that Guru sent this stranger along with the now deceased Namekain, to survey just exactly what was going on. Never before had Bra laid eyes on the stranger in all her time training with Guru. “I suggest you kill him quickly, Fonos. I am tired of watching you two flirt. He’s just an obstacle in our way…” Ordered the small blue android to the winged angel. "Why not see what he wants, first? I mean, he didn't exactly jump in to try and save...him," Bra added her two sense befor the winged alien could make any move. She then motioned to the puddle that used to be the Namekian. "Just ask questions before you shoot, and if you don't like his answers, then go ahead and kill him. That's all i'm saying," She added with a smile. Her body turned to the mysterious warrior and their eyes locked for a moment. Hidden from the view of the others, Bra moved her eyes in such a motion to let Digu not to fuck up the chance she just possibly bought him. “Oh, really? Gee-wiz Mister, they told me Finger Painting was in Cloud 192. I thought this was it, it must be one over.” He gave the Saiyan another look, and watched as a sneer quickly crossed his face. Fonos slowly started to fly nearer. “You want to mess with me boy? You have no idea what I can do, so I’d rather if you don’t make me angry.” A slight flash of orange appeared around his person, hovering off him and coming off in brief waves. “…I have something of the aliens and it has brought me here to planet Namek. I intend on using the information that I took against the alien.” Fonos turned around, and saw Bebi was headed back towards him, the human in tow. He stopped a little to the right of Fonos and gave Digu a clear look of dislike. The soft, high pitched tone of the Tuffle eventually caught his ear again, this time with a hard edge to it that Fonos had noticed it lacked surprisingly often: “I suggest you kill him quickly, Fonos. I am tired of watching you two flirt. He’s just an obstacle in our way…” Fonos nodded quickly, but Bebi continued to talk; perhaps he hadn’t seen the head motion. “We have no time for this nonsense. Remove him, or I will…” “Of course, Bebi,” he said smoothly. “I was going to anyway.” He quickly powered up to his full allowance of power, before the human cut into the conversation, speaking in a light, nervous tone, almost as if she wanted to protect him. “Why not see what he wants, first? I mean, he didn't exactly jump in to try and save… him,” she nodded her head at the bruised and battered Namekian on the ground. Fonos shrugged. It did show a passive aggressiveness rarely shown, but why did that mean he wouldn’t be a distraction of his own? As if she’d heard his thoughts, she smiled slightly with her perfectly glossed lips and continued. “Just ask questions before you shoot, and if you don't like his answers, then go ahead and kill him. That's all I'm saying,” Fonos looked at her for a long moment, before saying, “I already asked him, and he was a smartass about it. I don’t have time for smartasses. I don’t even have time for you, but since the Tuffle gained some instantaneous crush on you, I have to deal with it. No offense,” he added, “but I don’t know you and I’m not sure why you want to know us.” He then turned his attention back to the Saiyan. Despite what he told Bra, he gave the kid another chance; she was a good diplomat, if nothing else. Maybe that was how the Empire managed to get such a… civilized face to the universe, despite being such a ragtag group of banditos and murderers. “You heard the lady. Hearing the winged alien’s threat only brought a smirk to Digu’s face. He thought it hilarious that the guy was trying to scare him into submission. Sensing that the offender was edging closer to him, Digu’s body went taunt. Just try it… give me one reason to rip your head off… Suddenly the saiyan’s attention snapped to Bebi, noticing that the android was speaking about him. “I suggest you kill him quickly, Fonos. I am tired of watching you two flirt. He’s just an obstacle in our way… We have no time for this nonsense. Remove him, or I will…” he said with little emotion. Signing some stranger’s death warrant was nothing to the Cosmic Emperor… he did it on a daily basis. The winged alien, continued coming forward, stopping only to hear what Bebi had to say. “Of course, Bebi, I was going to anyway,” he said with smoothly, contempt in his voice. He must be Fonos… Just went Digu thought that a fight was imminent, the human girl that had been conversing on the side with Bebi spoke up in his defense. "Why not see what he wants, first? I mean, he didn't exactly jump in to try and save...him,” she said, her voice soft. She motioned towards the remains of Ithon laying on the ground below them, purple blood oozing out of him in dozens of places. "Just ask questions before you shoot, and if you don't like his answers, then go ahead and kill him. That's all I’m saying,” she added with a smile. Now that Digu was looking at her, basically out of surprise, he met her gaze and noticed the look she gave him. She had just given him a chance, and this was the only one he was going to get before Bebi or Fonos tore him to pieces. It was time for some quick thinking; should he come out and tell Bebi who he was and pledge his servitude to the android once more, or should he try to buy himself some time to prove his loyalty once again before he tried to throw himself too deeply into the Emperor’s affairs? He’ll kill me if he thinks I’m lying… Hell, he might kill me anyways for disappearing for so long. Finally, Digu came to a decision. He was going to have to let the android know who he was, front and center. With any amount of luck, Bebi would spare his life, at least for the moment until he had time to question him that is. Although they were flying high above the land, Digu floated forward so that he was just a few feet from his former emperor. Bending his knees and lowering his head, the saiyan brought himself to a bow before the android. “Long ago I pledged my service to the one known as the Cosmic Emperor. Certain... problems… have kept me from seeking out my master, but now that I am free of the chains that once bound me, I seek to serve the Cosmic Empire once again,” he said, his face down so that he did not have to meet the eyes of any of the three standing around him. Then, with a fierce glare to his eyes and a fire behind them, the saiyan raised his head and stare Bebi in the eye, something he felt as if he had not done for a very long time. “My lord… my name is Digu… I have returned… and I live to serve you,” he said with a certain amount of determination in his voice that said he meant every word. This was his only chance, he had to hope Bebi would believe him, or at least give him a chance to prove himself once again that he stood for the Cosmic Empire with ever fiber of his being. Bebi listened to the barrage of questions Bra had about the news of planet Earth. He would have answered them, but he didn’t know how. He had no answers for the girl. This was the reason that he remained silent about the matter, almost as if he was ignoring her plea for answers. It did lighten his mood, however, when she finally ceased with her ranting and just agreed to hold on for the ride. There was no reason for her not to. “Of course, Bebi, I was going to anyway.” Fonos said in an almost monotone voice. "Why not see what he wants, first? I mean, he didn't exactly jump in to try and save...him." Bra said with a quick nod with her head towards the now deceased Namekian. I don’t care what he wants… "Just ask questions before you shoot, and if you don't like his answers, then go ahead and kill him. That's all I’m saying." Bra said backing up her initial statement even farther. It’s a waste of time… The Androids thoughts seemed to have been shared by his winged companion by his longed silence. They were both head strong in their motives. Life was just a course of obstacles to them. They had no luxury in having to sit there and pick decisions before them. Bebi saw this in the man’s expressions and reactions. It didn’t take the Tuffle too long to figure out that he had never quite been given the option to take time in taking his own course. A life like that had only created, changing, them into how they were today. “I already asked him, and he was a smartass about it. I don’t have time for smartasses. I don’t even have time for you, but since the Tuffle gained some instantaneous crush on you, I have to deal with it. No offense, but I don’t know you and I’m not sure why you want to know us.” Fonos said sharply towards the blue haired girl. Bebi cracked a smile at what Fonos had to say. It was a show in a distinct characteristic in the Fallen. He had no need for baggage and through his life had probably deterred from taking on anything extra. The reasons why were unknown to the Tuffle, but the proof was there. A strong proof. It didn’t matter anyway, though, to the Android. Fonos was nothing more then a mere tool or weapon. There was no need for having any sort of close relationship with the Fallen. It did bring joy to him watching the odd creature, however. “You heard the lady. Give me one reason why I shouldn’t blow you to pieces.” Fonos said with a demanding voice. Wait, what? Kill the bitch already… The stranger then paused for a long moment. With no words leaving his mouth, the stranger simply just dropped to his knees. His eyes stared at Bebi for a moment and then they lowered, with his head following into a bowing gesture. It took Bebi by surprise, but seeing the posture the white haired warrior was holding himself in, the Android could only think about a quick execution. With the thought running through his mind, Bebi lifted his arm up and held it up to aim in at the back of the warriors head, while the fool was completely unaware. Before he went any farther, his action was interrupted with the voice of his target. “Long ago I pledged my service to the one known as the Cosmic Emperor. Certain... problems… have kept me from seeking out my master, but now that I am free of the chains that once bound me, I seek to serve the Cosmic Empire once again.” The stranger said, while still bowing. Bebi just smirked at the idiotic rambling of the warriors and his retreating arm slowly brought its way back to where it had been. It was now extended and held there back in its original position. His fingers split open and curled slightly, as if they were palming a ball. Energy began to swell there. It appeared like a hollow blur outlined with an empty void of dark color. The center began to swirl then, taking the color of the outlining into its mass, as it did so. “My lord…my name is Digu…I have returned…and I live to serve you.” Digu said with his head still down and Bebi still aiming. Bebi quickly curled his fingers in then, dispersing the energy that had been gathered. They remained in a clenched fist for a little bit, before his arm slowly regressed back to his side. His glassy blue eyes narrowed as they started more intently at the warrior that was bowing there before him. A sarcastic smirk pierced his blue skin. His right brow then cocked up a bit in reaction to the smirk. “Bullshit…” Bebi then muttered. Word Count: 814 Total Word Count: 7,958 |

Staring in silence as the android lowered his arms, Digu could only wonder what was going through Bebi’s head. It didn’t take long to find out. “Bullshit,” he said with a smirk and a raised eyebrow that told Digu he didn’t believe a word. Things went quiet again as the gears went to work in the saiyan’s head. He was starting to think he should oil them up so that things would be easier. Trying to buy himself a few more moments to think, Digu stood up to his full height, bringing him an easy three feet over Bebi, and floated backwards a few feet so that he wasn’t so close to the android. It was the perfect move. With only one idea coming to mind, Digu set to giving Bebi information that only a member of the Cosmic Empire would know. “So tell me, Bebi, did the paladins ever get a hold of you after that little stunt you pulled back on Yardrait? Huh… what about that fair trial you asked for? I doubt the Supreme Chancellor gave you that liberty, especially after you and Thirteen hacked into their mainframe and interrupted their war conference,” he said with a grin smacked on his face that had always been so present back in the day. More memories rushed to him for ammo, but he was extremely selective now, choosing only those that pertained more to Bebi and himself personally. “Remember our first battle? Boy did we give that fool Emim something to be afraid of. It was hilarious how full of bullshit he was coming in… and then he called in back-up to get his ass out of there. Hell, even I was in awe of the things Thirteen did back then… do you remember that, Bebi?” he said, a tint of hope showing his voice. He did his best to cover it, but it was obvious he was silently praying Bebi would believe him. Swallowing hard to try and make his heart go back down his throat, Digu glanced briefly at the other two people floating around him. They seemed to be looking at him with blank expressions. He felt sure that Fonos would jump at the chance to kill him if Bebi gave the order, but the girl… Looking at her a little closer now than before, he saw something familiar about her. Is it? Bra? That would explain why she is here in the first place, and why Bebi and her were talking. What a small world afterall… Turning back to Bebi, Digu added on the last bit he could before putting the ball back into his court and waiting to see what the android would do. “When you disappeared, things got crazy, Bebi. We were like a snake without it’s head. Some of us tried to keep up everything you build, but Cold made it hard. He started claiming that he was the new Cosmic Emperor, and just changed everything. W- I… tried to keep the first Cosmic Emperor's dream alive, but I couldn’t do it alone, Bebi.” WC: 509 TWC: 8,183 SWC: 26,069 |

He glanced back at the teen, Bra, wondering if he’d made the right choice in listening to her. After a moment, he looked back at the Saiyan to see that he’d slid forward in front of Bebi, and slowly lowered his head. In deference? Or was he tossing up his life? Bebi clearly assumed the latter, and slowly raised his hand, as if to slice the head clean off the body by sheer force of his own strength. He was soon stopped, however, to listen to the Saiyan’s voice, almost sounding haunted by his past, explain his own history, in a vague and not very convincing way. “Long ago I pledged my service to the one known as the Cosmic Emperor. Certain... problems… have kept me from seeking out my master, but now that I am free of the chains that once bound me, I seek to serve the Cosmic Empire once again.” There was a long pause, before he looked up, almost proud, as he declared, “My lord… my name is Digu… I have returned… and I live to serve you.” Bebi, during this speech, had been powering up a ball to fire at the Saiyan. It grew and swirled chaotically, before lowering towards his head dramatically. But at “Digu’s” last declaration, it immediately dissipated. His hand fell into a fist, and slowly fell. He then whispered, almost snorted, really, “Bullshit…” Fonos started to agree, but realized him voicing his concerns would be useless, so he merely glanced at Bebi, waiting to be allowed to do his worst. He really wanted to kill this bugger, too; nothing but a talker, and a bad liar, which is never good for talkers. Eventually, however, the Saiyan started speaking again, apparently determined to prove his innocence. “So tell me, Bebi, did the paladins ever get a hold of you after that little stunt you pulled back on Yardrait?” Fonos raised an eyebrow. What stunt? He was suddenly interested to hear him speak, even if he was lying, bluffing, or somehow just well-informed. Fonos gave Bebi a sidelong glance. No order to kill yet, so he turned back to listen to the rest. “Huh… what about that fair trial you asked for? I doubt the Supreme Chancellor gave you that liberty, especially after you and Thirteen hacked into their mainframe and interrupted their war conference,” Fair trial? What the hell is this shit? But the Robin Hood looking bastard kept on rambling off inconsequential dates and times, apparently holding the Tuffle’s attention long enough to string together the next word. Impressive for someone already on his deathbed. In fact… Fonos was starting to think he might not be kidding anymore. If he knew all this, either he’d been stakling the Tuffle endlessly or had a rat do it for him, or was who he said he was. “Remember our first battle? Boy did we give that fool Emim something to be afraid of. It was hilarious how full of bullshit he was coming in… and then he called in back-up to get his ass out of there. Hell, even I was in awe of the things Thirteen did back then… do you remember that, Bebi?” After that, he finally paused, this time to glance over at the fashionable woman to his left. He kept looking at her, almost as if he were drinking in his appearance, to the point where he knew Bra would be either offended or flattered, when finally something clicked behind his eyes and he looked back towards the blue skinned android. “When you disappeared, things got crazy, Bebi. We were like a snake without its head. Some of us tried to keep up everything you build, but Cold made it hard. He started claiming that he was the new Cosmic Emperor, and just changed everything. W- I… tried to keep Goten’s dream alive, but I couldn’t do it alone, Bebi.” Corny ass line, but probably the poor kid was spent after going through everything he could to bullshit his way out of dying. There was a moment where Fonos waited to see if he’d say anything else, maybe like, “so don’t kill me,” or “you see? I am digu. can I roll wit’ you nao?” but he didn’t. Eventually, the Fallen began to slowly clap his hands together, echoing eerily through the air. “Bravo,” he said sarcastically. “Impressive story indeed.” He glanced back at the android and raised an eyebrow. “Is this what Panties over there told you, too? They came from the same spot you know. They could be coordinating stories.” There wasn’t really a tone of encouragement to his voice, though. It was fairly obvious he didn’t think that the case here. Fonos really had no idea what to think. He flapped his wings irritably as his stomach fluttered. They were supposed to have been at Guru’s long before now, but their lives were quickly turning into a Soap Opera. People coming back from the “dead”, traitors turning back to their masters as if they’d never meant to leave in the first place, death, destruction, dysfunctional friends and family, and the ever present worry that some other drama would fall on their heads. Which it always did on those shows. Fonos suddenly wondered why exactly the Tuffle had decided to go to Namek in the first place. Had he been told he’d acquire help on this planet and simply assumed it was Guru? Or did he already know these people were here and wanted to try and avoid them? Or another reason entirely? Once more, he mused as to the game the droid was playing at. Whatever it was, it was clearly time consuming. Word Count: 947 Fonos Count: 7,032 Thread Count: 27,016 |

A long pause was held there from everyone who had been gathered in the little circle. The Saiyan seemed to have been thinking, but it didn’t quite matter to the Tuffle what he was thinking. Whatever was going to be said, held little to no worth to the Android. He cared almost nothing for the constant interruptions that had seemed to be plaguing him and cared even less for Saiyans. Oddly, the stranger, named Digu, seemed to not know this by any stretch of understanding. He simply stood up and stepped backward, to get some distance between him and the blue Android, to rant on. “So tell me, Bebi, did the paladins ever get a hold of you after that little stunt you pulled back on Yardrait? Huh… what about that fair trial you asked for? I doubt the Supreme Chancellor gave you that liberty, especially after you and Thirteen hacked into their mainframe and interrupted their war conference.” Digu said with an insight into details of Bebi’s past while grinning. “Remember our first battle? Boy did we give that fool Emim something to be afraid of. It was hilarious how full of bullshit he was coming in… and then he called in back-up to get his ass out of there. Hell, even I was in awe of the things Thirteen did back then… do you remember that, Bebi?” Digu asked as he continued to bring things up. Bebi heard a gulp, as Digu swallowed hard. His eyes were staring at the group. The Saiyan was examining each of the people there, but took an especially long hard gaze at Bra, who was standing not far from Bebi. It could only cause the Android to smirk, slightly, to see that the Saiyan was beginning to take in the weight of the situation. Consequences were dire, he could give the Saiyan that much, but it was a little to late to be showing any sort of reflection on that. The monkey should have thought about all of that before he had even showed up there before the group. “When you disappeared, things got crazy, Bebi. We were like a snake without it’s head. Some of us tried to keep up everything you built, but Cold made it hard. He started claiming that he was the new Cosmic Emperor, and just changed everything. W- I… tried to keep Goten’s dream alive, but I couldn’t do it alone, Bebi.” Digu then said after he seemingly gained some sort of backbone to speak once more. “Bravo! Impressive story indeed…” Fonos cut in then, before Bebi could even make a remark to all of the endless ranting of the Saiyan. “Is this what Panties over there told you, too? They came from the same spot you know. They could be coordinating stories.” Fonos then said towards Bebi with a raised eyebrow. Bebi smiled for a moment while he took in everything the stupid stranger was saying. It was in collaboration with what the Fallen had said ,too. He was beginning to enjoy the winged warriors new mind set that had evolved form his first encounter to now. He was becoming more aggressive and more free of mind, and tongue. It was a characteristic that Bebi could always admire, even from enemies. None the less, however, boundaries had been overstepped. “When you say panties? You wouldn’t happen to be referring to the girls who hair matches my skin, would you, Fonos?” Bebi asked then with a sudden change from his typical playful voice, even though, his smile remained. “Let me explain something to you…one time and one time only, bird brains…” Bebi said as he floated to eye level of the winged warrior. “Not only is she the daughter of two of my greatest allies, at one time, an ally in herself, but she was also the one who did something no one else could ever even make a dent in accomplishing…” Bebi said as he lessened the distance between him and Fonos, as he spoke. “…and that is fall this empire that so many others seem to fear and believe unstoppable…” Bebi then muttered with his smile gone and almost face to face with the Fallen. “If I was you, and thankfully I’m not, I would watch my tongue like the tip of my dick from herpes, when it comes to her…Got it?” Bebi said with his smirk returning. Bebi’s face then turned, his placement remained there in front of Fonos, however. His glassy blue eyes examined Digu for a brief few seconds. He imagined the Digu that he once knew. The image of the black haired Saiyan in ragged clothing took place of the Saiyan that stood there before him. The blurred imaginary sight of his old comrade quickly dispersed, though, and all that remained was the white haired Saiyan wearing green garbs. “I don’t understand why you wasted your time with all that nonsense. I tend to hate when people just go on and on about pointless shit. I didn’t ask how you were Digu. I didn’t even show any interest in the matter. I simply said bullshit out of response to you actually managing to exist this long. it’s a shame that the other dimension can’t keep the fucking dead…dead…” Bebi muttered with no care in his voice. Bebi shot a sharp glare at Fonos one last time. His blue eyes shimmered, giving off an image that one could ingest as if his pupils were quivering from a strain in disgust. That was just a way someone may have taken it, though. The true meaning could possibly be nothing. It was not Bebi’s place to decide on how it was interpreted, though. They just drifted back to Digu, though, after Bebi lowered his body from flight. He walked calmly toward Digu then, a sharpness in his stare. “I can tell you tried so hard…Can’t you, Bra? Here, we are stomping through ashes, and you foolishly ran….why? I don’t care why…” Bebi muttered. “You can blame Cold all you want…but, honestly? Cold has held what he could. He actually holds the last threshold of what was. What do you have weighing on your shoulder?” Bebi asked then as he gained ground between him and the stranger. “I didn’t say you weren’t who you said you were. You were probably better off claiming to be someone else. I don’t see a stupid albino monkey before me. I see someone who slithers from rock to rock…” Bebi muttered on with a harsh tone as he became face to face with Saiyan. “You tucked your tell when I left? You did the same with the Heavy Metal Kings…Now, you are back and wish to return?” Bebi asked with a snarl in his upper lip. I should have killed you that day… Word Count: 1,135 Total Word Count: 9,093 |

"A crush? Puh-leeze." Bra said in reply to the slightly feather-ruffling comment Fonos had shot toward her. At a glance, it felt as if she was commonly referred to as the privledged tag-along. The helpless damsel that was kept around more for her amazing looks than anything else. Her jaw-dropping, one of a kid beauty! It was a curse, but also an assessment that was far, far from accurate. However, now was not the time to get into any arguements, especially with someone whom Bra thought to be considered one of the Tuffle's new companions. Unless it involved killing possible innocent, random people. Now if they had a reason to die..Bra wasn't that much of a saint. In a rather surprising move, the strange Saiyan took a few steps toward the android, and knelt down before him! Bra nearly slapped herself in embarassment. Kneeling was so...unattractive! “Long ago I pledged my service to the one known as the Cosmic Emperor. Certain... problems… have kept me from seeking out my master, but now that I am free of the chains that once bound me, I seek to serve the Cosmic Empire once again,” Said the green-clad Saiyan from his position on the ground. "Cosmic Emperor? Uh oh...he must know Bebi. This is either going to end up very ugly, or it'll be yet another reunion today." Matters involving the Tuffle were usually very black or white. Either you were friend, or foe. There was very little grey area. Bra suddenly realized it just may end up the former, because the android was poised to strike a finishing blow to the fashion forsaken Saiyan. But he didn't. The tuffle retracted his hand once the mysterious warrior spoke his name. Digu. She vaguely remembered that name, but was unable to attack this current face to anything besides, "Clashing Fashion." And even more, Bra knew Bebi and Digu had personal history together. Which screamed to her that whatever happened, was now personal and between them. It was time to let the boys, be boys. The saiyan rose from his vulnerable position and took a few steps backward, creating a small amount of space between himself and Bebi. A wise choice. “So tell me, Bebi, did the paladins ever get a hold of you after that little stunt you pulled back on Yardrait? Huh… what about that fair trial you asked for? I doubt the Supreme Chancellor gave you that liberty, especially after you and Thirteen hacked into their mainframe and interrupted their war conference,” Digu said with a little smirk as he revealed knowledge that no mere stranger on this forsaken planet would know. Thirteen! Bra remembered him, the large redneck who, in addition to Bebi, were all companions. Whatever had happened to him, Bra was unsure of. That would have to be a question for another day. Digu continued to speak on old time that involved the tuffle and himself, in an obvious attempt to gain favor with the android. Would it work, was a completely different question. As Digu attempted to save face, Bra noticed the winged warrior, Fonos seemed to be quite taken with her. His eyes continually drifted over to her, then focused back onto the subject at hand, and then went back to her. If the alien was attempting to be sly, it was a horrible failure. "Is...is he checking me out? Should I tell him to stop?" Bra considered in her mind. She decided to simply ignore the lustful pondering of the angel-like creature. It just wouldn't be right to chastise everyone who checked her out. Bra ran her fingers through the teal hair that seems to radiate in the sun while waiting. Bebi never did fully explain what was going on, on either of the planets, which slightly irked her. But that was the tuffle she knew, Bra considered the possibility of that being all the android knew as well, but opted for a more pessimistic view. He was no dummy, Bebi almost always had secrets. “Bravo! Impressive story indeed…” Fonos said loudly, in a snide tone. The two men didn't seem to like eachother much. “Is this what Panties over there told you, too? They came from the same spot you know. They could be coordinating stories.” He added, but this time directed the question toward Bebi. "How rude!" "I didn't do anything of the sort! You have no idea...so shut up, and kiss my ass," Bra said in a clearly agitated voice. "I had no idea who this fashion don't is," She added with a motion toward Digu. Panties...what a terrible nickname! She was wearing some, but that hardly meant anything. Everything went silent, save for the soft flapping of wings. Digu stood in the same spot across from Bebi. And Bebi swirved around to give the Fallen a serious look. A look that meant trouble. “When you say panties? You wouldn’t happen to be referring to the girls who hair matches my skin, would you, Fonos?” Bebi began his rant, started by the comment about someone the tuffle once considered a close friend. Perhaps, one of the closest that ever existed. “Let me explain something to you…one time and one time only, bird brains…Not only is she the daughter of two of my greatest allies, at one time, an ally in herself, but she was also the one who did something no one else could ever even make a dent in accomplishing…” Bebi said in a tone to match ths stoic expression. Inch by inch, the android neared the target of each word. For a moment, it almost seemed as if Fonos would be struck dead within moments. “…and that is fall this empire that so many others seem to fear and believe unstoppable…” Bebi said, directly in the winged one's face. The two faced were so close, Bra was sure they could feel the heat of eachothers breath against their face. “If I was you, and thankfully I’m not, I would watch my tongue like the tip of my dick from herpes, when it comes to her…Got it?” He grandly finished. Why was Bebi protective over her? Mere moments ago, he threatened to kill her! Brutally, too. It was a welcome defense, however. And every word of it true. Her mother and father, hell, the whole of Capsule Corp was once like a second home to the tuffle. Given the appropriate amount of time, maybe it could be once again. Bebi's glassy eyes diverted their gaze from Fonos, to the silent Saiyan once more. They still retained the serious, determined look. The tuffle spat venom-laced words at Digu. Harsh, scarring words! Definitely not a conversation one would share with a friend you just got in contact with. Bra simply stepped back and observed the two warriors. "Boys, I think we have more pressing matters to attend to?" Bra calmly said, in a complete bluff. In reality, for all she knew Bebi and Fonos had came here to prance in the green grass; though it wasn't likely. Adding a sense of urgency would hopefully get things done. “I didn't do anything of the sort! You have no idea...so shut up, and kiss my ass,” Bra said in a clearly agitated voice. “I had no idea who this fashion don't is.” Fonos tried to hide a smile. Surprisingly, she’d taken his threat seriously. He’d just threw it out as a casual thing; odd, how humans seemed to take offense so easily. Bebi started to smile a slight bit as well – perhaps he figured that was funny as well? – before glancing over at Fonos, eyes flashing. “When you say panties? You wouldn’t happen to be referring to the girls who hair matches my skin, would you, Fonos?” He raised an eyebrow, but didn’t comment at first. The smile was still there, but not the tone. Was he… angry? Didn’t he himself just give the girl grief not five minutes ago? What exactly did she tell him to win him over so fast? But apparently, these were just his thoughts, and nothing from the teen’s own mouth. “Let me explain something to you… one time and one time only, bird brains…” He slowly floated upward to face the Fallen at eye level, before slowly hovering towards him, speaking in a clear, monotone voice that enunciated every syllable. Somehow, his voice almost completely lost its nasally quality during the small speech. Or perhaps he just didn’t notice it. “Not only is she the daughter of two of my greatest allies, at one time, an ally in herself, but she was also the one who did something no one else could ever even make a dent in accomplishing… and that is fall this empire that so many others seem to fear and believe unstoppable…” Fonos didn’t blink as he stared down the Tuffle, who was now mere inches from his face. An annoying smirk popped up on his face, as he gave a little “word to the wise” as a closing. “If I was you, and thankfully I’m not, I would watch my tongue like the tip of my dick from herpes, when it comes to her… Got it?” He didn’t reply at first, which seemed to be as good as affirmation to the Tuffle; Fonos, however, was merely thinking through what he’d said, digesting it, and trying to see exactly how to respond. He knew he wanted to reply with aggression, and probably could kill the Tuffle if he chose this. But he didn’t want to kill him. And on top of that, his two lackeys right there would certainly help the Emperor. Not to mention that he only knew Bebi’s Power Level since he’d watched it from the tanks on Earth. The other two were complete mysteries. They could be several hundred times his power for all he knew. No… he’d be subservient for now. There would be plenty of chances later to deal with his superiority complex, if he even needed to deal with it at all. The android was only speaking out of some latent attraction after all. No need to rain on his “playboy” image. Glancing back, he noticed that Bebi had started criticizing the green clothed Saiyan on his desperate ploy to try and gain favor. Fonos smiled a bit, but it wasn’t a happy smile, per say, considering it seemed unlikely that this Digu would be executed. You don’t have a conversation with your soon to be dead enemies about how stupid their last words sounded. “I don’t understand why you wasted your time with all that nonsense. I tend to hate when people just go on and on about pointless shit. I didn’t ask how you were Digu. I didn’t even show any interest in the matter. I simply said ‘bullshit’ out of response to you actually managing to exist this long. It’s a shame that the other dimension can’t keep the fucking dead… dead…” At that point, he gave Fonos a long stare, his eyes glowing oddly brighter than usual. There was no emotion in his face, but he’d looked back for a reason. Clearly that last sentence was partially directed at him. But to say he was the exception to his statement, or to include him with it? It only mildly interested him, since really there was nothing he could do about it. Technically he never even died. He just gave Yamma a passing glance on his way back out. Eventually, however, his gaze slowly shifted back to the Saiyan, and continued, growing softer with every word. “I can tell you tried so hard… Can’t you, Bra? Here, we are stomping through ashes, and you foolishly ran… why? I don’t care why…” He slowly inched forward, voice getting dangerously low. Fonos had to slip closer to catch his words. “You can blame Cold all you want… but, honestly? Cold has held what he could. He actually holds the last threshold of what was. What do you have weighing on your shoulder?” He snorted softly. “I didn’t say you weren’t who you said you were. You were probably better off claiming to be someone else. I don’t see a stupid albino monkey before me. I see someone who slithers from rock to rock…” Fonos suddenly stopped listening to the Tuffle, not that he’d said much anyway. His mind slipped away to another time and place. ~~ It was evening. The stars were slightly dimmer than usual, though at the same time larger than most. The air was cool and crisp. Not a cloud marred the sky’s perfect image. The sun, being about to set, cast a beautiful glow of pinks, yellows, oranges, and purples over everything across the lands. Only one thing was moving, deep underneath the stars. Or… was it two? Two, it was. Two birds floated casually, almost not even flapping their wings, seemingly hovering above the ground because of the lack of wind. At least, that would be how it would appear to those who weren’t natives. One of the birds turned to the other, wings cast orange because of the sun’s rays. He opened his mouth and softly whispered to the other, easily distinguished through the quiet of the moment. He said, “Is this where I gain my power?” There was a quick nod by the other, and they immediately rose up higher into the air, spinning in perfect synchrony as their rhythm and tempo increased. It appeared to be some sort of silent ritual, a queer sight without the music to accentuate it, but it soon ended, with a faint hum. It continued, as they slowly fell to the ground. They both touched, and it was suddenly clear that these were not birds, but bird-men, one being clearly older than the other. The younger now held the orange of the sun around his body like a near transparent cloak. The older man grinned and winked, saying, “The initiation is complete. Welcome to the–” ~~ The moment stopped there, and the image shifted violently fast as time ‘fast forwarded’. Fonos briefly wondered how he’d forgotten the name of his race, and made a note to ask Yamma the next time he visited the lonely old man. But while he’d been wondering, Fonos’ mind had brought him several thousand years into the future, to the very beginning of the initial rebellion against the Grandmaster. ~~ The scene was now in a small courtyard, deserted save for two bird-people. One spoke to the other emphatically, almost begging his counterpart to listen, but she didn’t. She was adamant. “How can you even say that?” she asked sounding harassed. “Sure, he’s a right old fool, but he’s our fool. There’s no way he’d do that to us and I don’t think you believe it entirely yourself. The only witness to him saying that was Lucifer, and I-” she immediately stopped, not wanting to say more. A pregnant pause ensued. “You what, Chira?” he asked softly, neutrally. “You think he’s intentionally starting a war, intentionally trying to dethrone him? What, do you think he himself wishes to be a Kai? No.” The soon to be ex-general’s voice dropped even lower, going to another place and time. “You didn’t hear him talk about it. Nobody’s that good an actor. He heard it all right.” “Well then, maybe he’s overreacting!” her voice rose to hysterics, and the man quickly hushed her with a quick, soft kiss and a swift, “Shh…” “Just… think about this, okay? For me.” She pushed a small strand of her blond hair to look more closely at him. But in an oddly strained voice, he murmured, “I did think about it. He told me this three weeks ago. I’ve decided. I wasn’t asking your opinion. I was asking you to join me. Please.” There is a pause, and his eyes start to get damp. “Why can’t you trust me? You’ve known me for how long? And,” he continued, not wanting an answer, “On top of that, I… I need you. I can’t win this fight without you. You’re the greatest diplomat we have, and we’ll need one for after we win. I don’t plan on killing him. I want redemption. More rights were all I plan on getting from him.” She looks up at her husband, tears in her crystal blue eyes. “I loved a man once, who looked just like you do. I eventually married him because of his kind heart and his endless love. But you, much as you look like him…” she chokes down a sib before finishing, “I don’t know at all. Let me know when you found him.” She slowly gets up and starts to walk away. The man reached out for her. “I do love you. I always did and always will.” But she merely snatched her hand away and stalked off, rushing into the rising sun as if she wished it to swallow her whole before the light was great enough for any to spot her. And eventually, the man stopped staring off into the distance. Putting his hands in his pockets, Fonos lifted himself into the air, and flew off for the Meeting, small glassy orbs flashing on his cheeks before flinging themselves off, hitting the ground with a small, salty splash. It appeared he needed to discuss their recent setback with the others. His eyes blinked back into focus a moment later, not wanting to see the rest of that miserable time reel. They’d lost a lot of battles throughout, because Fonos, as their greatest fighter, refused to go to war against his wife. With him sitting out, many others did as well. Tactically, it hurt, but he did it anyway. And yet still, she never returned to him. And when he was banished, she didn’t even tell him goodbye… He wiped a small tear from his eye quickly, hoping nobody had spotted it, and tried to assemble his features into their typical nonchalant appearance. Bra suddenly spoke up, in a motherly tone that made Fonos glance up in surprise. “Boys, I think we have more pressing matters to attend to?” He looked at the three surrounding him for a moment before shrugging. “Well, since it seems you’re informed already, yeah, we do. I’ve just been waiting on the Energizer Bunny to get a move on.” He didn’t look at anyone but Bra when he said that, but considering there was an android among them, it didn’t take a rocket scientist to know who he was talking about. Just someone to understand Earth Culture was all. Word Count: 1,914 Fonos Count: 8,946 Thread Count: 31,277 |

Listening as Bebi laid down the law, something he had always been so good at, Digu kept his signature smirk pasted across his face. Sure, as the android said, things really were starting to look dire for his situation, but how knew that he hadn’t ran away whenever Bebi disappeared, thanks to Guru’s help. Maybe Guru can help me convince him… After listening until it seemed Bebi was done with his little dirge, Digu looked around again at the other two people watching on in both interest, and surprise. Bra seemed as off in the clouds as always, although she maintained an appearance of one paying close attention to the proceedings. Fonos, he noticed, had fallen silent after Bebi scolded him, and was now watching quietly. Digu didn’t expect he would be making many more bold statements. Turning back to stare into Bebi’s cold, hard, lifeless eyes, Digu could only reflect on the many times he had stood against the entire galaxy in his name, how many times he had tested fate for the sake of the Cosmic Empire. There was no way it would all come to an end like this. “You know, Bebi? Whenever we first met, I was afraid of you, and I was young, and I was stupid. Heavy Metal Kings was a mistake, and I quickly learned that. You showed me the difference between the great, and the… well, not-so-great,” Digu said, stepping closer to Bebi. Although his voice grew louder, he was by no means losing his temper; he was just making sure his point was understood. “Now you question me? So be it. I have proven myself to be one of, if not your most, valuable and loyal allies. Consider this, who can, and who will you trust, if not those that have before proven their worth? I come back because you and I share a similar dream, one that you showed to me no less.” Stepping forward with the other leg, Digu found himself face to face with the android, or would have been if he didn’t tower over the Cosmic Emperor. “I’m beginning to question whether you really are who you say you are, too. The Bebi I knew had a much better game plan, and took crap from no one, especially people like feather-face over there,” he said, motioning with his head towards Fonos. “No, the Bebi I knew would have chewed up and spat out someone like you. Maybe I’ve made a mistake, maybe you really aren’t the true Cosmic Emperor. Just as I have some questions to answer about where I have been, as do you. Why would you have disappeared at the height of your power? We had the galaxy eating out of our palms, and you just… were gone. Explain that to me, you creation of rusty and spare parts.” Although he knew challenging everything that the android was so boldly was dangerous, Digu also knew that it was something he had done in the past. Although Bebi’s followers were loyal to the death to him, he had never really considered himself as a king to them, but instead just… another piece of the puzzle, and, besides Thirteen, the sole remaining founder of the Cosmic Empire. Still, at what point would the android think he had gone too far? At what point would he say to hell with words, and open up his arm to reveal massive blaster cannons to rip over the saiyan’s body, leaving even less remaining than he had of the unfortunate namekian below, once known as Ishton. Digu knew he would have to risk finding that point if he were to be again accepted to the greatness that was the Cosmic Empire. “So? What have you got to say, Bebi? Are you, or are you not the Cosmic Emperor that you claim to be?” WC: 734 TWC: 9,820 SWC: 31,919 |

"Boys, I think we have more pressing matters to attend to?" Bra stated openly for everyone to gain attention of her. No…yes… “Well, since it seems you’re informed already, yeah, we do. I’ve just been waiting on the Energizer Bunny to get a move on.” Fonos said, after giving off a shrug before hand. Bebi turned his look back at Fonos and Bra, so that they could both be seen within his line of sight. His gaze seemed to have almost been one of seeking. He looked slightly lost, but not in the idea of knowing nothing of where to go, or know what about. It was a look in having the two answers already, but having to be cursed from indecisiveness. That was the plague. He had something to accomplish, and had been held back, even on planet Earth. The other objective, though…that other objective was still just haunting him, however. “You know, Bebi? Whenever we first met, I was afraid of you, and I was young, and I was stupid. Heavy Metal Kings was a mistake, and I quickly learned that. You showed me the difference between the great, and the… well, not-so-great…” Digu started in. Bebi blinked as the words broke the constant noise that his thoughts were causing… “Now you question me? So be it. I have proven myself to be one of, if not your most, valuable and loyal allies. Consider this, who can, and who will you trust, if not those that have before proven their worth? I come back because you and I share a similar dream, one that you showed to me no less.” Digu continued. While the Saiyan spoke, he was stepping closer to Bebi. He had stopped about an arm distance from the Tuffle at that moment. The Android couldn’t help, but feel that the words were becoming even more useless. As worthless as the words were weighing in, however, the tension was becoming rather noticeable. The Saiyan was picking up aggression as he continued to rant on. It was something that was actually beginning to irritate the Android. It wasn’t out of rage, but it was out of annoyance. The Saiyan then turned bold and stepped in just a bit closer, coming face to face with Bebi, then… “I’m beginning to question whether you really are who you say you are, too. The Bebi I knew had a much better game plan, and took crap from no one, especially people like feather-face over there. No, the Bebi I knew would have chewed up and spat out someone like you. Maybe I’ve made a mistake, maybe you really aren’t the true Cosmic Emperor. Just as I have some questions to answer about where I have been, as do you. Why would you have disappeared at the height of your power? We had the galaxy eating out of our palms, and you just… were gone. Explain that to me, you creation of rusty and spare parts.” Digu then said with a firm tone. “True…” Bebi then said calmly. The Android then just walked forward. He continued right through the white haired Saiyan, as if he wasn’t actually there. Two things were going to happen with that gesture. The Saiyan was going to move form his way, or the Saiyan was going to be shoved back form Bebi. It didn’t matter what the outcome was, honestly. If the Saiyan remained in his way, there was going to be conflict, but if he moved, he was going to be ignored. “You got me…” Bebi said then with his back toward Digu as he continued to walk. “I’m not your Cosmic Emperor. You have seen through my guise.” Bebi said with a chuckle. “Ready, Fonos and Peaches?” Bebi asked with a slight pause in his leave. The Tuffle waited for no response to his question. Instead he just waited for a few seconds, not looking back at the group. After his hesitation was spent up, the Tuffle continued his travel. This time his feet just picked up form the ground and he started to take flight in the direction that was predetermined from his leave of the Carpe Ominous. Bra and Fonos was right, and there was an objective that took priority. My second mission can wait…I need more to come…I need more time… The flurries of snow whipped through the air as the wind guided them in violent harsh routes. The temperature was well below freezing, but the Android couldn’t tell. His body was not effected by such things. He did not know hot, he did not know cold. His muscles felt no fatigue and his lungs had never been winded. It took him acquiring a another beings body for him to even feel any of those things, and that was limited all within itself, anyway. Bebi could tell differences within the different types of bodies that he had conquered, however. The memories was what adapted to him. It was odd how a personality could still show a resemblance of its true self, even after being mutilated by the Tuffle’s ability to leech on to living creatures. That was the power pf a souls versatility, however. A beings body could die, but its soul would continue to exist, no matter how horrendous the death was, on another dimension. Oddly, children were the hardest to maintain, where as the clones that the Red Ribbon had created were easiest. The clones, though, were a personal favorite. There was much less commotion in the thoughtless clones. A clone, that was the body that Bebi had found himself in that day. His body was clothed in the leather uniform that they wore. His was tattered from battles, however, and was missing any insignia claiming to be property of the Red Ribbon. From that jacket, he revealed his metal flask, that bounced the bright light shining across the frozen plains. The bottom was tipped up before becoming completely empty. After tossing the flask, a cigarette was then placed in his mouth and lit. Both the Zippo and the remaining pack was left to the same fate of the flask. “Are you ready?” A woman’s voice asked. “Not sure yet…” Bebi said. The Tufffles body never turned its attention toward the woman. Instead, he just continued to stare at the constant absence of color, but that of the snow. A drag was taken, with no fingers on the cigarette. Smoke was exhaled from the around the butt of the cigarette slowly then. A sigh had somehow seemed to have been heard with the smoke that bellowed. His eyes that were tagged with red lined in the outline of a cross closed for a few seconds. Another drag was taken, but this time the cigarette was removed and tosses aside. “Yeah, why the hell not. I guess so…” Bebi muttered. The Tuffle stood from his rock of ice and then turned to see… Bebi’s eyes slowly opened to see the surface of planet Namek once more as he was soaring of the pond spotted plains… Word Count: 1,175 Total Word Count: 10,268

Redneck Android

Stunned what the android said, Digu hardly felt as he was pushed to the side to allow Bebi passage. His expression was blank. What had happened to the Cosmic Emperor? Was he no more? It had to be him… it couldn’t be coincidence that he had that dream and that Bra had shown up too. Standing there as Bebi flew off and the other two followed closely behind, Digu’s mind raced. Do I follow him? Should I keep trying? Suddenly his heart jumped to his throat. Everything he knew, or thought he knew, seemed to be dead. Bebi had either forgotten or turned on him. He remembered things… there is no way he has forgotten. He just… doesn’t want me anymore? Surprise turned to despair, but only for a few moments, because it quickly rolled into anger. With his face turning red and veins beginning to stand out on his forehead and arms, Digu’s aura flared up around him, eveloping his body and burning the air around him so that it left a distinctive o-zone smell in his nostrils. “I did everything he ever asked of me… I killed people… I slaughtered them… I left behind my life to help him achieve his dream… and this is what I get in return? No… this is not the end, Bebi. I won’t let it be,” he said out loud, although no one was around to hear it. Turning just in time to see three dots disappear on the horizon, Digu clenched his fists and his teeth, allowing his aura to burn even stronger, visible for what must be miles even in the bright sunlight of two Namekian suns. He could would not… could not… let this happen. He had earned his place, and if he was going to have to earn it again, then so be it. Finally forcing himself to calm down, Digu relaxed his body as much as he could, his aura dying down a little, but still outlining his body in a green haze. With his thoughts a little more focused, he realized the trio had taken off towards Guru’s hut. “I’ll settle things there… whether it takes me beating the shit out of Bebi or him taking me back… I have no choice.” Taking a deep breath, Digu looked into the sky, taking in the warmth of the namekian sunlight. He felt as if he were absorbing the energy from the sun, rejuvenating his body after a few hours of flying around. It felt great… and it reminded him of times past… and one person in particular. Tehran’he… Something deep within him sparked, and he felt a flood of emotion. How could he have forgotten about the changeling? She had been his closest friend before his capture, and yet he was only just recalling her. Was she still around? Had she continued her training, and finally surpassed him, or at least, the power he had possessed before being captured. If he could find her… what would she think? Would she kill him? Hate him? He hadn’t always been very good to her… but if anything that harshness he’d expressed with her would be the root of whatever strength and battle prowess she now possessed. Credit would be due to him for toughening her up, and showing her the galaxy. That was it, he decided. He must find Tehran’he, and if he could convince her to join him, he could make it. First he would need Bebi’s suppor though… and to do that he was going to have to catch back up to the android and find a way to convince him of his worth. Looking to the sky once again, Digu relished the warmth of the sun once more before taking off after Bebi and company with a fresh determination and a new fire in his eyes. It was time to be good… or be good at it. WC: 743 TWC: 10,563 |
