It was an average Namekian day. Trees were bent slightly by the breeze that gently crossed the large field. Saex was in a central portion of a small glade that was visible in the field. Him and several other young pupils were training under the guidance of The Namekian Maestro: Guru. Lecturing the young warriors as they practice basic bushido techniques, the warriors were learning to command control their Namekian powers. Older students were more advanced and had learned the more advanced Namekian powers. Guru sat on the outside of the dedicated combat circle. Some of his students were busily sparring against one another, whilst others were sitting in the lotus position practicing the zen-arts of focused meditation. Depending on the fundamentals learned by each of the young warriors, various attacks were tossed around the field.

The occasional stray energy blast of the infamous Namekian Tsu no Beam, was deflected by various students who were skilled in such bushido arts. Somewhere in that field of dedicated warriors, the young Namekian named Saexitophon trained. The target was a well structured training dummy. Saex was focused on doing drills with the Namekian ability known as the Mystic Attack. Except, heavy weights were strapped to his wrists and ankles. Saex's muscles tensed visibly as he stretched them faster and faster. His epidermis pulled, tendons and muscles popped and twisted, and either arm was stretched to impossible lengths. The sounds of meat against bark was heard as Saex struck the wood over and over again. The training had started hours earlier in the day and had gone non-stop for hours. It was already a standard Namekian afternoon by the time Saex's knuckles were busted open.

Master Guru was known as a very rough drill instructor that pushed his students to their limits. Each bone-crushing sound was like a symphony of broken meat. The pounding noise resonated through the air as Saex and several other young warriors trained their Mystic Attack abilities. This was the thousandth time that Saex had completed his technique. But it was not good enough. Saex knew that Master Guru could spot mistakes in his basic technique. When the basic command-"Again!" was repeated over and over, Saex had learned to time the command. Blood already caked his hand as he struck the training dummy over and over. Pain shot through his upper body. His muscles were pushed to their limit as he struck the dummy over and over again. The added weight of the anklets and wrist bands made the task even more painful. Despite the tears that flowed from his eyes, Saex dared not speak up against the command of Master Guru.

No student dared. At least not the ones who were smart. Guru was armed with a combat stick that doubled as a heavy walking stick. Students who acted without discipline were quickly struck with a skilled blow from the walking stick. The wood was known to hit with the ferocity of a bull whip. Each student yelled a "kiyai" as they struck with their variation of the Mystic Attack. So thus, noise filled the air. Somehow, Saex knew that Master Guru was fast enough to keep up with all of the occurring spars and battles. Saex himself was struck by that fell wooden stick several times during his training session. Saex continued to push himself past his limit, his Ki shining brightly about his person as he struck over and over again. Saex's eyes were narrowed in concentration as he studied the warrior arts.

There were blood splotches on the training dummy. Saex was seeing his own blood dripping down the expanse of the training dummy's body. Despite that, he trained hard, it was the do of bushido. Saex stretched his limbs out using the secret Mystic Attack technique over and over. Each time, he grew just a little bit faster, just a little bit stronger. He felt his ki growing steadily more powerful with every ounce of punishment and training that was inflicted on his body. Saex was a proud warrior in a warrior society. Though young, he still trained as hard as any of the veteran members of his Namekian tribe. Saex had as much to gain from the basic precepts of warrior society as any other member. And so, Saex trained. He continued to strike the training dummy with no other purpose other than to hit the training dummy. His muscles moved with even greater control as he connected his fist against the dummy for the thousandth time.

The wood was painful against his knuckles. But the Namekian ability to regenerate made it easier to withstand. By then, his body was dampened in sweat. Determination was etched on his face like a mask. Sweat poured down the side of skull in rivulets. Exhaustion was slowly starting to creep into the Namekian warrior's heart. Still, Saex knew he would continue on until his body could no longer take anymore punishment. He would push himself to the very limits of Namekian physiology. Even then, he would still keep on fighting. The determination in his heart was fierce, and Saex did not want to disappoint the warrior household he came from. Finally, something new happened that would signal a new phase of training. As Saex's limbs stretched out for what must've been the thousandth time, the training dummy suddenly bent backwards at the spine.

There was a loud cracking sound. The powerful oak burst at the seams underneath the weight of Saex's martial tactics. Make the wood afraid of your fist! Master Guru had stated over and over, drilling the instruction into his student's brains. Each of the students could hear Master Guru's powerful voice teach. "The wood must be afraid of you." Saex heard. "Show him it the pride of Namekian warriors. Hit the wood until it bends, to the might of your will. Strike with the ferocity of a storm. This is the do of Bushido. The way of the warrior." When Saex broke his training dummy, the upper body was sent flying several yards away and nearly hit several nearby students. The loud cracking sound was personified by Saex's potent ki as it erupted around his body. He'd struck the sweet spot of the training dummy at that moment, causing the whole object to collapse almost immediately. At that point, blood was freely pouring down his hands.

The wounds to his hands and knuckles were already regenerating on instinct. With a narrowed eye, Saex looked at the destroyed training dummy and sighed. He did not collapse, he did not complain, he merely turned to look at Master Guru. A nod was exchanged between student and maestro. Saex was ready for the next part of his training. Namekian warriors were a particularly tenacious lot. They were built extremely sturdy, and they could withstand incredible amounts of punishment. Saex took several deep breaths and walked over to Master Guru expecting to be struck by that powerful cane once more. By then, Saex was used to being hit over the head by the cane repeatedly. The pain was not as severe as the blow to his ego.

"Young gakuto Saexitophon." Master Guru said carefully. "Saex." He added. "You are the first in this training session to defeat your training dummy with unarmed close-quarters combat. You have done well." Master Guru said. "You are ready to proceed with the next stage of your warrior's training--huh?" Master Guru suddenly exclaimed.

Nearby, there was a shining star in the sky. A star that glowed just as brightly as the Namekian sun. Drawing closer, the object began to gather speed as it shot through the air. There was a loud sonic boom when the object came closer and closer causing many of the Namekian students to abruptly stop their training and look up at the object. The gathered students began to talk quietly amongst themselves with the slightest hint of fear in their voice. On Namek, the event had occurred before with the sky people traveling from far and wide to invade their land. A few moments later, the object collided with Namek and skidded several yards forward creating a loud explosion of fire and noise. A scar of dirt and mud was visible where the object had collided with the ground. Small spots of fire burned across the makeshift road that the object had created. Saex stared at Master Guru with a confused expression on his face. Then, he turned to stare at the general direction of the object.

Smoke burned in the distance as well as the light of an inferno. The object had brought fire and destruction with it. Saex looked at Master Guru again and awaited his superior's commands. Master Guru nodded. "Saex. You're one of our fastest. Go scout the area ahead and see what you can find out. I am going to prepare a scouting party to meet you half way. But I want you to survey the area to the best of your capacity." Master Guru said. Saex simply nodded. Without word, he activated his Bukujustu fundamental ability. Ki surrounded the young warrior and he fly off in the general direction of the crash site. Saex approached the crash site without fear or anxiety, but rather, a strong sense of fearlessness and devotion to his people.

When Saex arrived at the crash-site, the Namekian's single eye went wide. He saw a solitary travel pod that was non-Namekian in origin. The pod had markings on it, and energy that was bursting out of the power cell. Cords of electrical discharged swirled upwards into the air. The Namek felt his skin crawling with power. Studying the symbols upon the outer shell of the travel pod, Saex saw that they were written in a foreign tongue that he had never come across before. That revelation deeply disturbed the young Namek.

The pod was located deep in an unnatural crater. For a moment, the Namekian could feel the presences of the others of his tribe as they worked to catch up to his person. Saex walked down into the pit as he studied the pod. The metals of the ship were also unfamiliar to him. This fact deeply disturbed Saex. He reached out with his hand in an attempt to touch the surface of the heated vessel.

A moment later, Saex removed his hand from the touch in pain. The metallic surface as hot and rapidly cooling down. Steam flowed from the pod. Saex detected a great deal of power swelling from within the confines of the pod. Power that was enticing, power that he wanted.

The surface of the vessel was smooth, there were no indications of any entrances or doors. Saex used his single eye to attempt to identify a way into the vessel. So far, he was having no luck. Then, as he examined the vessel, mechanisms from within the pod were activated. For a moment, the symbols on the ship glowed brilliantly and a section of the ship moved. There was a hiss of sealed air flowing from the chamber within. Saex took a step or two back in caution as he looked at the moving parts of the ship, he had not expected that.
