As a message to staff, please, move this to the customs request board if you feel it doesn't belong here.

I came up with some rough ideas for custom attacks the other day in the chat box, got some feedback on them and so on. However, they don't conform very well to the system that we currently have, so I'm not sure if staff would be willing to approve them or not. I'll probably make some modifications whenever I have the SP to actually request them. I'm just looking for some feedback for now.

Name: TBD
Damage: 1.5
Ki Drain: None for a normal usage, 3% for a critical usage (ki is used to activate poison glands)
Action Cost: 1
Description: Most make the mistake of believing that a Namekian’s fangs are merely for show and have no usage outside of that. In truth, these people are wrong. A Namekian’s fangs can actually secrete a poison capable of killing natural predators they once had. It’s little more than an evolutionary remnant, but remains a useful asset in their arsenal. Against opponents significantly stronger than the average human, its effects become no longer deadly, but are still able to slow their opponents down.

The effect always happens if the user decides to secrete poison, but they can still use the attack without that added effect. There’s only enough venom in their poison glands for a single bite per battle, but a non-poisonous bite can be used as many times as the user wants. The normal version of the attack can, naturally, be used in grapples, but due to the fast-paced nature of a grapple, it becomes impossible to use the critical effect during one.

Effect: The poison causes hazy vision and a decrease in reaction time for 6 posts. The effects are worst during the 3rd and 4th actions, but hardly noticeable during the 1st and 6th. The effects can be healed before the six actions are up with a Senzu. The critical ability won’t have any effect on Androids, Namekians, or Cell. (an Android’s mechanical nature would render them immune to the attack, and Namekians have a natural resistance to their own poison, which is passed on to Cell’s genes)

Name: TBD
Damage: 0
Ki Drain: 5%, and double that for each consecutive action it’s held for. (so one action would be 5%, two would be 10%, three 20% and so on)
Action Cost: None*
Description: The user concentrates their ki and spreads it over the entire battlefield, effectively producing an intangible shroud. The shroud blocks out all light, including around the user, and lasts for however long they can keep their concentration. However, if it’s kept for extended periods of time, it can be extremely draining. Due to the mental strain the ability causes, it can’t be used within three posts of its last usage if it isn’t consecutive.
Effect: Covers the entire battlefield in pitch darkness, preventing anyone, including the user, from seeing.

*I figure no action cost would suitable, since it has negative effects on the user and I don’t want it seem like some newfangled Taiyoken. (“Solar Flare”) It has a high enough potential ki cost if I want to use it for extended periods of time anyway, and it’s intended to be combined with other actions, even if they are a shot in the dark. Besides, there are a number of ways around this technique anyway.

Because my avatar just doesn't drive the point home enough.
