It had been some time ago since Halcyon, the Lord of Destruction, had last visited the planet Kanassa. So long ago that those who are now called the planet's elders, where not even born yet, not even their third generation ancestors. the last time Halcyon had come to Kanassa was during his war with the Lost, when he had already lost his true body and was forced to resort to other, less strong bodies than his magnificent own body. Yet here he was again, after uch a long time, using the ability to transport himself from the midst of his GIC offices towards the desolate woods of the Kanassans. He remembered that his own former vessel, the changeling tyrant Lord Chill, was strongly against the use of such non-sensical telepathic and telekinetic powers, yet he did sort of rely on them, since he made sure that the lasrgest part of the original GIC military staff was able to use those old kanassan gifts rather than himself. This was ofcourse becouse the poor old Chill had witnessed the surpreme and usefull power which Suigintou, Halcyon's old servant possessed, when he had awakened her on the planet Rath. The power to invade and control one's mind was almost godlike, yet even after all that time Chill had decided not to make any use of such splendid powers, relying on technology and his own physical, rather than his psychological power. Not that his assessment was completely wrong, for he was just like Halcyon himself a genious, not as great, but still a genious. He knew his limits and he did not want the telepathic powers not only because he did not want to rely on them, but because he was indeed at that time stuck with Halcyon in his body, crawling and chewing in and on his mind like a child eating bubblegum. More so, seeing the things which the demon had done before he entered inside Chill's body, would've driven the tyrant completely insane, far off the scale he had on insanity during his last moments of life. Though now Halcyon was on his own, unbound by the deteriorating bodies of his vessels, free to make his own decisions and choices and he was certain that obtaining the telepathic and telekinetic powers which Suigintou possessed, could only be helpful, even if they were not as powerful or going to the same extend as hers. Now present on Kanassa, there was nothing else for the Primeval to do, than search for those able to teach him to harness the planet's possibilities, its gifts and mold those into the powers he so wished to have. Walking through the small villages of the planet, he could not find the elder he needed for his plans, yet in the last village they send him to their own elder, telling him that she knew certain secrets unknown to most Kanassans. Since the handsome demon was indeed looking for such things, he was keen on meeting this elder, hoping she would indeed be the person he was looking for; the only elder who knew the elite's way to harness Kannassa's enormous powers. He walked towards the small hut in which the other villagers lead him, knocking on the wall next to the entrance and pulling aside the cloth sheet which acted as a door for the old lady's hut. Inside he saw a mess of terracotta pots and bowls, colored in peach, white, chalk or charcoal. "Anyone here?" The handsom demon inquired, while trying to sit on a decent stool. wc: 580 |

The elder and the demon An old fish-like woman, with stale and almost dropping rough scales came inside the large messy room from another smaller room which Halcyon thought to be the bedroom or something similar, since he actually never knew in what kind of bed those fishy kanassans slept, if they ever slept at all considering their telepathic connections to each other. "I'm coming, I'm coming," The old lady muttered, slowly shuffling one feet after the other, to get a seat near some bowls with seeds and some kind of vegetables before she turned towards the Primeval. "Who are you?" Halcyon laughed, since it seemed this old lady was more likely to be an amusing distraction, rather than the powerful telepath he was searching for. "My name I Aizen Sousuke," He quickly said without hesitation, knwoing that she could possibly see through his lies, however, he was certain she would not look into his mind before he would give her the authority to do so. "I am here to ask you, as the wise elder of this village to teach me the ways of telepathy." The lady nodded, giving a slight grin, or at least something that looked like a grin, since her gills somewhat overlapped with her mouth due to her age making her skin flabby. "I am Purfa, wise woman of Ataclac." She said softly, while taking a few of the seeds next to her in the bowl and putting them in her mouth. "I will first need to check your mind to know if it is capable of being unlocked in the first place. Do I have your permission?" "You have my permission to do as you please," The handsome demon laughed calmly. "But do mind, all which you see without wanting to see it, is all on your own risk. Just do what you need to do please." wc: 306 |

When travelling the mind of an immortal monster The old kanassan woman ordered the Primeval to close his eyes and to clear his mind, while she would do the same, to penetrate his mind and to asses if it would be open to the gifts given to the inhabitants and the visitors of the planet. Just when Purfa closed her eyes, she suddenly felt a dark void swoop over her, overwhelm her senses. It felt as if she was drowned in a lake filled with tar, she wanted to open her eyes, but it was imperative for her to asses the situation, since she had a job to do, which ment she was forced to go through her clients thoughts, like she did so many times before, however this time something was odd. It was almost impossible for her to recognise her own feelings and emotions when she dove deep inside the ancient demon's powerfull mind. So many memories, so many years and ages that had passed since the powerful being had made his first thought, his first memory. It was completely unworldly, even for someone like Purfa, who had already unlocked over a thousand minds, giving them entrance to the planet's gifts. Yet now she was going to unlock a mind that she did not trust, a mind that frightened her on so many unspeakable and undescribable ways. But she knew fear was not tolerated, for it made her own work twice as hard. She did not flinch, not even when she walked through an old memory in which she noticed a massive beast slaughter thousands and thousands of poor helpless creatures, running around in despair. neither did she yelp or scream, when she saw thousands of bright and colored warriors clash with an entire horde of beasts and what looked like demons and some as the complete opposit of those colored beings, she dared to describe as perhaps the very Kaioshins, the gods of the universe itself. The memorylane's final secret Purfa suddenly found herself in a memory that felt so strong, so pure, she could not go away without feeling as if it would tear her apart both physically and mentally. She was standing on a barren wasteland of sand and rocks, not far from her, she noticed a man, dressed in ancient robes. Around the man, there were a thousand different beings, amongst which she even recognised saiyans and people of her own kin. She did not know what that place was, yet it was warm and cold at the same time, but the most important thing was that she did not see the man inside her house in that memory, as if it was someone else's memory, or perhaps the man had more secrets, maybe there was an explanation; she thought. The vision changed, she was now standing on a lucious planet, paradise itself by all standards. With endless fields of fresh grass and flowers, blossoming trees filled with the most beautiful fruits imaginable and beings as colorful and beautiful as the world that surrounded them. Suddenly something happened, Purfa noticed she suddenly was at the center of a war she could not describe, with beings all powerful enough to each blow up a single galaxy without breaking a sweat. Thousands of beings were hoarding against the colorful beings she saw moments ago, but the thing that drew her attention the most, was the fact that in the middle of the battle, there were three beings doing nothing, just as three people at the side of the colorful people. Before she could breath, every battle paused, as the three from each side suddenly engaged in battle. Just as their blades clashed and their voices roared, Purfa opened her eyes, feeling the sweat drip from her brow and roll down her skin. "I bet you saw interesting things," The handsome demon chuckled, while from his finger a thread of black and silver energy connected with a similar thread coming from another finger on his other hand. "Well now, my dear old Purfa, does my mind have enough capacity and skill to be able to accept the gift of this planet?" wc: 679 |

"Yes," Purfa answered the demon's question reluctantly, affraid of what his reaction might be. She noticed him play with his energy; a foul yet powerful kind of immortal negative power, darker than anything she had ever witnessed."Your mind is indeed capable of learning to harness the gift of our race and our planet. The old lady stood up calmly, explaining that she was going to get something to drink. Just as she stood in the other room, she thanked every god she prayed to daily, that she had still time to protect herself from such a monster. She thought it was impossible for the Primeval's to still exist, but she had never even thought about suddenly standing in front of one, eye to eye, let alon having one in her own humble home on Kanassa. "Why dont you bring me something too?" Halcyon chuckled, just to point out that poison was most likely not going to work against him, if she would ever be dumb enough or arrogant enough that she would be able to surprise him and or kill him that way. "I still have a few questions." Purfa came back from the other room, showing the handsome demon a map, whereon she pointed towards a plateau not far from her village. "Do not mind the questions, young man," She said, trying her best to sound friendly and not at all suspicious or warry about the demon's true nature and power. "If you want to learn the secrets and the power of our race's gift, it is here in the temple of Ganuk, where you're best to be for learning to harness the gift of Kanassa and to expand your mental prowess." She gave the map to Halcyon, telling him that she wanted to rest for a while now. Purfa asked him gently to leave her home and head for the temple, since she was not feeling well. Just as the demon turned around, his back towards her, while leaving the small house, she grabbed for the knife hidden under her shirt and held it up high, hoping to bury it right between the Primeval's shoulderblades. Yet just as she lunged with the knife, the demon was gone. fatal flaw "I would've expected this from someone who I had hurt," The demon said, as he reappeared right behind the old kanassan woman. "But not from someone who has absolutely nothing to do with me." "You're a Primeval, a monster," She screamed loud, when his arm grabbed for her wrist, forcing her to drop the knife under his straining power. "You are responsible for the death of billions, yet you still walk freely. That is unforgivable, so I will do what the gods couldn't." "No you wont," Halcyon hissed, while his hands went upwards, the string of energy from both his fingers connecting quickly, as he strangled the old woman. "You see how easy it is to kill, well that only counts for me." When the woman's body got limb, he vanished, leaving behind only death and decay. wc: 495 |

[Sacred temple of the Kanassan order of the Saljuk] Megum and Loka were walking through the halls of their order's sacred temple, since they were ordered by their master to guard the front gate and to give their brothers who had done the guard for the fullness of the entire morning a bit of rest. Loka was angered because he had failed his test to raise in the ranks of the Saljuk order, while Megum simply trid to calm him, telling him that there's not a problem when you dont rise quickly, such things aren't the most important. "I tell you, Master Moomar was just happy that I failed megum," The young Kanassan said with passion in his voice, yet anger as well. "I bet he was glad that he did not have to give me more responsibilities." The other Kanassan youth simply nodded, not really agreeing with his brother's exclamations, thinking of them as at least a small lack of respect for Master Moomar who had trained the boys well from the very beginning they had entered the sacred order of the Saljuks. "At least be glad that you were allowed to attain at next weeks festival in this temple, Loka," Megum said calmly in response to the other youth's ranting and raging."I bet the festivities will set your mind off your troubles, it'll be cleansing for you to relax a bit more, rather than trying to become the youngest master-class seljuk in ages." The two youths greated their brethren at the front gate, telling them to go take some rest, while they would take over the guard duty from them. "All of that aside," Brother Loka continued. "Why do we have to do guard duty at this hour, as if anything would happen during the day and certainly not at the front gate." "Just see it as an immediate reason and opportunity for you to rest a little," Megum answered friendly to his brother. "As if someone would dare to invade the temple in broad daylight..." Loka watched, as his brother's hand went upwards, pointing to something or someone slowly coming closer to the temple. he couldn't see who or what it was, but only those of the Saljuk and those with a special permission from the Saljuk Council were allowed to enter the temple, but it looked like the approaching figure was not at all someone with permission. Megum tried to calm down, clearing and focusing his mind on the man dressed in black, who was coming closer on a slow pace, walking as if nothing was happening, as if he was doing nothing wrong, not even fearing the strong mental powers of the Saljuk Order's brothers. wc: 477 |

"Hey you!!" Loka yelled, while he ran towards the man coming closer to the front gate, ignoring Megum's advice of staying put. "You're not allowed to come this way, you're not allowed to enter the temple. Be gone, or I'll be forced to take you down." megum watched as his comrade ran towards the man dressed in black, the man's eyes were covered by some expensive looking shades, but while Loka rushed towards the unknown man, Megum realized that he noticed something resembling a grin on the man's face, a sudden twitch in the corner of the man's lips made megum yell towards his comrade Loka to stay put, so they could call for hel or at least handle it together, yet Loka had no ear for his comrade's request and pleas. "Damned Loka," Megum sighed, as he called for help telepathically, telling his brethren there was an intruder, before following Loka towards the stranger. "Why do you always act so rash, that's why you failed your test to become a master." Loka had almost reached the man, with Megum running behind him. Loka opened his mind, and threw forth his left arm, firing off a wave of telekinetic power through the air, yet something amazing happened, as the man was hardly affected by the power that should've thrown a normal man backwards for at least a dozen feet. "What the..." Loka inquired, while he noticed that Megum had finally closed the distance between them. "Come on Megum, this guy needs to be stopped, do you not sense his desires, his aura, it reeks of evil." "We're lucky we could feel such desires and powers," Megum said calmly, while preparing for their signature technique; the Telekinetic Control. "Be gone now intruder, this is your last warning." Yet the man didn't even react, except for that same smile on his face, as if he didn't even fear anything those two strong members of the Order of Saljuk could throw at him with all their might. "We warned you," Loka yelled, throwing his hands forward again at the same tim as Megum." Well, sorry for you, but we'll force you." Using all their power and mental capability, Megum and Loka created a telekinetic wall around the man, closing it slowly to completely control and stop the man's moves, it took some time and effort, but eventually they seemed to have stopped the man from moving, just a few yards away from them. "What...what is happening Megum?" Loka yelled, sweat rolling down his scales. "I do not know," Megum replied, feeling the same pressure and the weird feeling that something was wrong. "I could explain that for you," The man said calmly, as he started to move again, slowly but certainly. "Your telekinetic powers are simply not strong enough compared to my physical strength." "What are you talking about," megum inquired, feeling that this was not going to be easy, since he had never felt such a pressure before, as if the very air itself was squeezing the life out of him. Loka watched, as he tried to maintain the telekinetic lock on the man, he saw how the man started to walk again, as if he was some kind of stiffened up marionet, but he was walking, resisting their power and slowly coming way to close for comfort. It was then that Megum reacted slightly too late, as the man's hand grabbed the poor kanassan youth by his throat. "No!" Loka yelled, as he saw his comrade wriggle, as he was lifted upwards by the man. all of a sudden, Megum seemingly started to age rapidly, rotting away while still being held by the man's tight grip, until nothing more but dust flew away in the evening breeze that blew softly in the air. Before Loka could react, he felt something pierce through his chest, cracking through his ribcage like a knife would slice through butter. it did not take long before he realized, he was done for and while his consciousness was slipping away, he saw the man walk through the front gate of the temple, knowing that he was going to take kanassa's precious gift by force, rather than peace. wc: 749 |

The Saljuks and the God He managed to enter their sacred temple, walking straight through the men and women who dared to stand in his way, his aura deriving its power from their feeble and insignificant lives. They tried yet failed to stand in his way, as they were mere insects compared to a man, who had seen the beginning of time, the war of gods, the rise and fall of the numnaga, a man who had seen the beginning of the universe and would most likely be around until the end, if not being the cause of it. As he walked through the last halls, the man reached the final gate, which gave entrance to the temple's most sacred place; The Hall of Soltitude, where the kanassans believe any man or woman could strengthen their mind a thousandfold to grant themselves the telepathic powers which are only common to the kanassans, yet not to others. "We must stop him at all costs," Master Mooka sighed, as he felt the dark power within the man. "Do not let that evil enter our sacred halls, condemn this man with all your might, my students, my comrades." Suddenly the man stopped walking, standing but a few yards away from the final group of saljuk monks, giving an almost innaturally cold laughter for them, while his black and silver aura grew even larger as it was mere seconds earlier. "Stop me?" The man said calmly. "You are to weak to stand against me, to weak to even pose a thread to my divine power...master Saljuk. Now be a good boy and simply...Vanish." When faith fails Filled with pride and remembering the words of their master, the men and women who were to be the last stand of the saljuk temple, rushing towards the intruder with all their might, using their strong mental abilities to aid them against the powerful, monstrous man that dared to desecrate their holy temple. They fought bravely, as quickly, they paired up, knowing that they could best work in small teams and use their mental capabilities as an advantage against this beast who most likely had no mental power at all. But as the first team tried to stop him, by using all their telekinetic powers on him, thickening the air around him, the man simply walked on, while he stretched out his arms. in an instant, a massive black blade and a crystal white scythe materialized in his hands. he did not stop, as if he was ignoring their power, their immense telekinetic blockade proved to be utterly futile, as the mans physical power simply compensated greatly for the force used against him. He ran through the corridor, weapons at his sides, slashing through their defenses like a knife through butter, until he reached the master. "I told you to surrender," the man said, as he walked past the master, who sank through his knees in fear and despair. "A primeval will not be stopped by primitive fools such as yourself. He walked on through the door which gave entrance to the sacred Hall of Soltitude, leaving behind nothing more than corpses and dust, which proved the glory and as well the infamy of his old name again...Lord of Destruction. wc: 498 twc: 3822 |
