[human gains] Amy was mediating on Roshi's island. She listened to her surroundings as the water crashed against the sandy beach. The occasional "caw" of a seagull or two could be heard. It was her last day of training before she was to leave the island and pursue a course for Korin's tower. Her new destination? Kami's lookout. Suddenly she felt gem become warm, signaling a stranger's desire to draw her into the spiritual realm linked between two gems. She broke her meditatve state in order to let her soul be drawn into the spiritual world. She opened her eyes. Amy found herself amid the roaming plains of a cariboo-like setting. Flat plains with baige grass. Wooden fences everywhere. Rolling mountains and trees dotted the landscape. The cariboo. Before her was a green humanoid. She rose to a stand and called out to him. "Who are you? I was expecting someone else." wc: 151 |

The Super Namek
|
The Namekian Warrior, Rem, was dead. Well, not really. He had transcended the training that his masters upon Earth (the vaunted Roshi and the venerable Kami) could give him. Desiring more strength, more potent techniques, and having an insatiable desire to be pushed and tested to his limits and beyond, he had been sent to the afterlife, with the blessing of Kami, to seek further training. He was there at that very moment, in fact; sleeping. He had spent the day getting used to the nearly unbearably intense gravity. With his magnificently weighted clothing, weights, and augmentation for such things that he had gotten from Roshi, moving had become a herculean task of will power, strength, and sheer determination. Hours of simply walking about the planet had drained his energy more than any battle he had been in until that point. He was dreaming at that moment, envisioning battlefields on far flung planets, and nigh omnipotent foes of who it was his responsibility to vanquish; for the good of all. It was a reoccuring theme with his dreams, and recently he had begun to realize those dreams may in fact be visions of past lives. He wasn't the first Rem, but a reincarnated piece of a warrior who had also been known as Rem. That Namekian, however, wouldn't be born for over 2000 years, and in another dimension altogether. The dream he was currently experiencing seemed a bit different than most, however. His dreams, his memories, were scripted. They were a scene that played out in his mind while he slept... But there, then, during this particular dream he was in control. He was standing upon a tranquil prairie. Calf length grasses swayed gently in a barely detectable spring wind. He could hear a distant carooning, and knew it was an animal of some sort. He allowed himself a breath, inhaling the minty scent of natures full bouquet; delighting in the fragrant clarity of the atmosphere of this world. "Where is this?" He whispered to himself, not wishing to disturb the immaculate placidity of this place. He was almost tempted to think of it as Earth, but the smell wasn't right. Even in the farthest corners of the planet, displaced from all cities and technology, the air was still the air of Earth; containing the imperfections of pollution and industry. But this world... It was almost Namekianesque in its utter purity. No, that wasn't right either... This was even MORE pure than Namek. Namek, although it possessed no large sources of industry, still produced some things, and still hosted intergalactic travelers and their ships. There WAS in fact pollution on Namek, even if just barely, but that miniscule amount separated even that Namek from this world... This place was completely pure. It was a magnificent place. He was sorely tempted to simply come to the conclusion it was Earth, what with the familiar examples of flora and fauna around him... In the past, perhaps? Either way, Rem was wondering why he was dreaming of this place. His dreams were nearly always about battle, conflict. As of yet there was no opponent in sight, so... What was going on? The jade warrior took in and then released yet another magnificent inhalation of the place's atmosphere. And he waited. 601 words. ooc- This is my only post. Feel free to roleplay the spar however you like. You can win if you want.

Amy was taken aback by the humanoid who stood before her. His skin was green, pointy-elf ears and two attenae protruding out from his forehead---they went out and then drooped down at the ends. He wore some kind of trench coat with black and red designs all over it. He wore a scouter on his head and other weighted clothings. The namekian stood looking back at Amy with a serious expression. "I will be your opponent," muttered the stranger as he quickly took off his trench coat and weighted clothing. "Oh, ok." Amy nodded and took off her italic weights and dropped into a fighting stance--one that wasn't anything in particular. She could sense her opponent was stronger than her, which made her grin. She didn't mind the challenge here, considering it was safe to go all out in the spiritual realm. "I'll go first!" Amy leaped from her position and glided through the air as she traveled to Rem's position. He merely dropped into a guard and prepared for her attack. Amy saw numbers on his scouter flash for a moment before she struck, indicating to her foe what battle power she was currently at. It didn't bother her one bit, but if it were a real life situation where she was facing life or death, then it would be of concern to her. She landed a few feet in front of Rem and stepped forward and used the momentum to get into his personal space to throw the first attack--two jabs with her right. He met her jabs with a forearm block. She followed up with the other arm and sent out a fake before putting power into her other hand to deliver a power punch. Rem anticipated her moves and appeared to easily keep up with her as he blocked her power punch. The namekian reached for her shoulders with a grab and sent a right knee strike aimed for her solo plexus, attempting to pull her in for the blow. She obstructed his movement by stepping forward with her leg and blocked the movement with her thigh. Amy then used her close proximity to deliver a quick headbutt to Rem. The attack connected and threw him off balance for a second--enough time for Amy to follow up with some quick attacks. She delivered several jabs to his face and cocked her right fist back to deliver a power punch to complete her combo. Rem quickly recovered and used his superior speed to deliver an elbow strike to the girl's boob before she could strike, countering her attack. It stunned her and she stepped back as she struggled to deal with the pain. She collapsed to the ground on one knee and gasped for air. To her, it felt as painful as a man getting kicked in the nuts. Rem stepped forward and delivered a kick to her face, knocking her back a dozen feet. She slid along the ground and tumbled into a roll before coming to a complete stop. Wc: 509 Twc: 660 |
