A cold sweat dripped down the human's face as he slept. A nightmare invaded his dreams shortly after he left Earth. It was as if the demons in his heart were trying to break free, and leave Tien as a broken shell. In his dream, the world around him was burning. It was so hot that the human thought he was melting. And he was fighting these strange projections of people he knew. Like phantoms, they disappeared into the fire and would come out somewhere else again. It was pure terror for the human, fighting those he would call friends as the most evil of enemies. Suddenly jolting awake, Tien was panting. His nightmare had confused him as to what was real, and what was a dream. But feeling the gem around his neck, there was a heat emitted from it. Something was resolved in the human now, as if his gem of telepathy was comforting him. Or perhaps it was because the gem glowed with a familiar light, pulling him to a world that he could not imitate in dreams. Or so he thought. Getting sucked into the Astral Realm, Tien saw the realm of blank space around him. It was easy to manipulate, and the human controlled the space freely. The human decided that he would change the space of his spar into one similar that he had fought in before. The red sands of Planet Vegeta enveloped the whole area, going on for endless miles. The area was almost exactly the same as when he fought Ayakon, once upon a time. Loose dirt, a deep red sky, and perfect weather. Tien was ready. Sitting down, his eyes closed, the human would wait. It wouldn't take long for his opponent to arrive. WC: 294 |

[Saiyan spar gains] Sitting here alone is really pissing me off, Kakarot thought as he spun his black Gem of Telepathy in the palm of his sweaty hand. His frustration with his boring schedule of training with Grandmaster Adel and then sitting out on all the fun the Cosmic Empire was having as of late was getting to him. He needed to free himself of the mounting frustration and need to crack skulls. There were only so many Keliouxians he could crush before he bored himself to death. Spars were becoming less and less frequent for the new Cosmic Butcher, and he wondered why. There's no way that there's no one left to spar me. As if answering his dark prayers to crush things, his black gem hummed to life. It glowed a deep purple in the darkness of his room, causing his sweaty fase to light up and give him a skin complexion similar to that of an exhausted slave working on his home planet of Vegeta. He smiled just before the gem had whisked him away in a bright flash. The Astral Realm he was delivered to was none other than a copy of his home planet. With a sigh, he walked steadily over the red sand. The occasional breeze he felt was refreshing after what he had just been through with the Grandmaster of Kelioux, but he was ready for more. He cracked his knuckles and neck as a human figure came into focus several yards ahead. He tightened his black, weighted training gi and weighted headband, opting to fight with more of a challenge than usual. He also kept on his weighted training boots for the extra bang with each kick. Approaching his bald opponent from behind, he called out. "Hey, baldy! Get up!" he yelled and vanished in a blur. Hoping he'd catch his opponent by surprise, his blue after image faded from his last position. He reappeared on the opposite site of the human warrior and threw forth a volley of poisonous Ki directly toward the bald human's forehead. That's when he recognized his opponent. He's that guy I saved from an ass kicking. Hehe, he'll get it from me instead. WC= 364 |

Silence was surrounding Tien, and he had almost forgotten where he was. The human was on a perfect copy of Planet Vegeta, one recreated for fighting in the Astral Realm. He sensed a faint power level appear behind him, about 4 or 5 meters away. A sharp cracking sound filled the air as Tien's foe was presumably cracking his knuckles. "Hey, baldy! Get up!" the man behind Tien called out, before the human lost track of his power. He had already started to get up, but then he felt his foe's power raise. Figuring a ki attack was incoming, the human readied his defenses. There was one thing that the human could do to guarantee his safety from this attack, for he felt his opponent was powerful. The triclops began circulating energy in his whole body, preparing himself for his next move. As his opponent appeared in front of Tien, the triclops paused for a second, noting that he had met this man before. It was the man who saved Tien from his doom in a fight with one changeling and Android Z. Those two were dead now, and the human wasn't sure that they would actually ever come back. But either way, Tien's opponent was attacking, so now was not the time to have his head in the clouds. Volatile ki energy was shot off at Tien's facial area, and it would almost certainly end the fight. That would be too soon, though, so Tien decided to change the attack to suit his own needs. The volley of blasts landed on the humans skin, yet he used his own energy to manipulate the attack's form. A fiery barrier of ki began to form around the human as his foe shot off the ki attack. That really is a nice technique... Tien thought, his transmutation of the attack successful. "My name isn't baldy, it's Tien. And yours?" the human asked, leaping forward at his foe and throwing a side kick at the Saiyan's gut. Following the power kick, which Tien expected to be harmless to a fighter as strong as his foe was, the triclops simply tried to tackle his foe and ignite him with the flames of his own attack's energy. Next time I'll charge that bitch to full power. Kakarot's frustration (and amusement) at his opponent's quick thinking led him to his train of thought's next stop. In a white blur, he vanished to dodge the fiery kick and reappeared just outside its reach. Then, he repeated the maneuver to dodge the fiery tackle. When asked his name, he remained silent. Tien would have to earn the right to know Kakarot's name. Tien would be tested, as was the norm when one went against a Cosmic Lord. Everyone earned the right to continue breathing. Using Tien's own momentum against him, he swung his right leg as far back as he could, doing a front flip. Upside down, his foot ignited with yellow, crackling Ki. Once his revolution was complete, he yelled "Detonate!" and slammed his foot downward, hoping to catch Tien on top of his shiny head. The explosion that resulted from the magic word was one for the ages. Tien just might have eaten dirt, but it was hard to tell through the smoke and dirt filling the air. If it missed, he was still geared up for another attack. Let's see him dodge this! When he was finally upright, he spread his arms out wide to his sides. With open hands, he channeled his Ki to manipulate the gravity around the human warrior in front of him. With great concentration, he felt the air change, somewhat ripping the very air from his own lungs. He held his breath as best as he could and slammed his hands together, and the result was a thunderous clap. If Tien found a way out of his newly learned Demiton Bomb, he might earn the right to know Kakarot's name, and possibly live, should they ever meet each other on opposing sides of a battlefield. 1- ST + Dodge A2 2- ST + Dodge A3 3- Dynamite Kick 4- Demiton Bomb WC= 364 + 303 = 667 |

Tien looked in amazement as his foe seemingly effortlessly evaded his kick and tackle attacks. It appeared that what may be fast for the human was slow for his Saiyan opponent. The human had still heard no name from his opponent, and frowned. His frown deepened as the Saiyan launched himself forward while the human was stopping his tackle, and performed a front flip. At the apex of the flip, the human sensed a gathering of ki in his opponent's foot. Eyes widening at the thought of what was about to happen to him, Tien immediately took action to evade the attack. His muscles tensed and Tien started moving at his maximum speed, away from his opponent's attack. The universe seemed to slow to a halt for the human; everything moved so slowly that it was like not moving at all, with the exception of the kick. That seemed to be coming at a normal pace, and compared to the slow-moving Tien, bad things would happen. As the kick closed in, however, Tien was raising his elbow to deflect the kick. The attack slid down the human's arm, ripping some skin, but leaving the human otherwise alright. Then the Saiyan said one word, and Tien knew he was going to hurt. "Detonate." Smoke rose around the human as he had almost successfully deflected his opponent's attack. The pain in his arm was extraordinary, almost ripping off the arm. Groaning, Tien got up with the smoke around him. He could barely see his opponent's silhouette through the smoke, but his ability to sense power levels would serve to warn the man about his foe's next attack. It was a large amount of power, concentrated in the air around Tien. He was unsure of how the ki had surrounded him so quickly, but it didn't matter. Looking at his arm, broken and battered, deflecting the attack probably wouldn't work. Tien surrounded himself in ki, and leaped straight backwards. If he could place the zanzoken directly in the line of his opponent's sight, then hopefully his foe wouldn't notice that his attack no longer surrounded it's intended target. As soon as Tien started to move backwards, however, the gravity increased. Sucking Tien into the center of the gravity bomb, the warrior felt his bones grinding themselves into mush under the increased gravity. While the warrior had trained under intense gravity, it was nothing like this. Roaring, the human let all of his power loose. An aura of brilliant white light escaped his body, and the human tried to stand firm under the intense pull of his foe's attack. Yet his strength was not enough, and the gravity pulled him in. Closer and closer the human edged, and stronger and brighter his aura became. But it did the human no good as he slid on the loose soil of planet Vegeta. Knowing he had little time before the gravity increased to the point that his body simply died, Tien had a brilliant idea. It was the same concept under which planets orbited the sun -- if he could fly sideways, he would be able to counteract the gravity. Or so he hoped. His brilliant white aura burst one more time, and the human took flight. His body was already almost mush, but his legs had enough strength to push off once more. Flying sideways in an attempt to get out of the vortex, Tien felt some relief for a moment, before being jerked into the attack once more. It was not an easy fight for the human, but he was winning it. The gravity was sure to stop soon, or so the human had thought. He had no sense of time in this condition -- his mind and body were already moving faster than they had ever before and it could have been seconds or minutes. Then a rock flew out of the ground and slammed into Tien's back. The rock, while small, was forceful. It sent Tien flying into the center of the vortex, as much as he struggled. Trying to inhale as much as he could, the human was already just about in the center of the attack. It crushed his being, bones melting into goo and organs stopping their functions. The human's three eyes popped individually under the attack's great pressure, and yet, his brain was almost alright. He could still hear as well, and the human could only be curious why these parts of him were spared. Then he realized that he was flickering out of the Astral Realm; the human's time remaining the land of sparring was short, but he did not yet leave. Struggling to move himself, the human needed to signify he was alive, somehow. Hopefully his opponent would speak his name, finally. Releasing a small burst of power, or rather, all of his remaining power, the human tried to show his success at surviving. Fading fast, the human screamed in his mind, TELL ME YOUR NAME! I CAN'T STAND THIS AGONY ANY LONGER! WC: 847 TWC: 1522 Actions: -ST + Partial Block -Zanzoken + ST + Power fly + almost dodge -Try not to fade from astral realm |

This guy's persistent. Kakarot was amazed at Tien's determination to remain in once piece. The Saiyan's Demiton Bomb was nearly strong enough to tear the human to shreds, yet he was still mostly whole. As a matter of fact, it was downright miraculous that Tien was still breathing. For a human, he was impressively stubborn and somewhat skilled. Did I do it wrong? Of course not, I'm not an idiot. Kakarot would abide by the rules he lived by and give the resilient human warrior his name. He had earned it, after all. If they ever crossed paths again in the real world, he might have to test Tien all over again. Maybe it was the Astral Realm that kept Tien from being torn to pieces. The crafty bastard. "Kakarot," was all he said as he touched his forehead with his middle finger, as if combining the one finger salute with the legendary Instant Transmission technique he had recently heard of. Soon, he would know that technique and until then, he would practice his Instant Transmission stance. It was amusing and arrogant, just the way he liked it. Sometime soon, he would have to ask Prince Vegeta if he could either teach him Instant Transmission or tell him where and how he could learn it for himself. Tien was the first to show signs that the Astral Realm was sending the two warriors to their physical bodies. Then, Kakarot felt the pull in his mind as much as in his body. It was time to go back to the real world, where he would continue his training with Grandmaster Adel. The Cosmic Butcher's repertoire of skills improved with every master he trained with. He would only train with the best, and on Kelioux, the best was Grandmaster Adel. Kakarot would have to thank him for allowing him to learn the Demiton Bomb technique. It was messy.
