The hybrid stood from her position as she had taken up residence within Central City; there was a place that she wanted to visit, it was easier to see the moon with the stars. She looked to Katsuo and waved him away as she moved out of the area and narrowed her eyes ahead. Yes, she needed to see the moon easier, without all the lights from the city that blanketed out the stars. She closed her eyes and moved with the grace of a priestess that was assumed to be pure; Yuki was likely not such a person, yet she was still referred to that by her father. Maybe she was a different kind, an older kind. When the term did not refer to a weakling that could do nothing. The Scorn of the Moon waved the thought away both mentally and physically as she moved into one of the lower regions on Damaskia. She had little time to think on this misfortune. She had finally been recognized by the ones from the Shadowguard; now she planned to join them. However, she also needed to be able to show them that she was no weakling. And so, she had decided that it would be time for her to test her real skills, sooner or later. Katsuo had helped her along the way; she had surpassed him in power and speed already. Now she needed someone on her level. Her eyes narrowed ahead as she mentally stated that she needed to find her strength. She found a planes area, with short grasses and a small hill. "Perfect," she said calmly as she walked up the hill. The blade was stabbed into the ground and she knelled once more. Her hands stretched out- it was a symbol of her taking in the moon's light and purity. She purified herself every night that the moon was visible, which luckily was almost every night.

It was finally night, for the first night being awake, he finally was able to witness this planet's night. It was crisp and cool at night, and not too hot, though a little colder than his liking. However, the planet would make up for this discomfort from the radiant moon that hung in the sky, sharing its light to all who may take an eyeful. It made him feel like he lacked something important and made his tail tingle. That is right! The tail! Honoo looked at his crimson tail, wondering what race had a tail like this. Many races had tails, but this tail was rather distinctive in form from the rest. It sparked a curiosity withing him, but he knew he may never know on his own. The GIC.... in a way... held him back. He would instead leave it to chance and perhaps fate to help him find what he needed. He wandered the night streets until his scouter picked up a familiar power level, and he decided to check it out. He moved from the city into the lower plains area, and spotted the two from earlier. He couldn't help but smile and kept walking toward them. He too had sparked an interest with the Shadowguard, but they were unsuccessful in gaining the rights to Honoo, so Honoo was temporarily allowed to roam the planet for now. The GIC knew where he was at all times anyway, so what was the matter with a little fun now? His protocols had been... wiped clean allowing a clear conscious and thought process. He approached Yuki silently, doubting that she could sense him anyway. However... he did notice she had heightened hearing, so that may alert her. Nevertheless, he moved closer and knelled beside her, however not doing with his arms that she did with his. He did however, look up towards the moon which held his gaze. For a moment his heart increased its pace but slowed back to normal. The moonlight was bright and enveloped the two making his green emerald eyes sparkle in its radiance. He knew she would react to his presence, mainly because his presence may distract her from something she held dear, but he did not know how. Would she curse his name and condemn him to death, or would she simply ignore him? The possibilities were endless, and he was preparing to see one of them. WC: 404 |

The night had been crisp enough, but there was something that shattered that. It was the appearance of the one that she had met the day before, or was it days? She had little knowledge of the time, due to her days in the city that blurred together. Her moonlight absorption ended quicker than Honoo might have thought as she pulled herself up with the sword as a sort of crutch-like device. Her pale amethyst eyes looked down at the emerald eyes of Honoo as she shook her head slightly, "I haven't told you this before, Honoo; and truth be told, I wasn't sure that we would meet again. But this is a special ritual. You have disturbed it, and now you and I must have a match." It was part of the rules of being the priestess of the moons, laid out by her father. It had been some time since she had to enact these rules. The woman walked over to the plane and all the while kept her opponent within sight, "While I would rather this be as comrades, it must be as enemies. And as this is your first offense, I am forbidden to use my weapon." It was not like a lost arm- Yuki had surely used it a lot when Honoo had first seen her, but he had also saw part of her other skills, in the martial arts. One did not simply know where those places on a spine were; they had to train and train and learn to know. The woman waited calmly for the other to come before she launched straight for him, only to crouch and threw a blow at his stomach, an elbow shot that could stun a normal person. She judged it could knock him back, at best, and at worst, barely effect him. Her next attack was led in by the first, as the first from the arm that had not used its elbowed moved to thrust up and use an open palm strike on Honoo's chin to jar him. It would likely effect him if it struck- though strong, the jaws of most were rather fragile due to only a few bones and muscles. Her final attack was straight in his chest as she powered and threw four ki balls, each aimed to take an escape route- to his left, right, front, and back.

"I haven't told you this before, Honoo; and truth be told, I wasn't sure that we would meet again. But this is a special ritual. You have disturbed it, and now you and I must have a match. "While I would rather this be as comrades, it must be as enemies. And as this is your first offense, I am forbidden to use my weapon." "Although I do not understand this rule, I gladly accept your challenge.", Honoo said as he stood up and moved away from here to put some distance between the two. Upon reaching a desirable spot, he turned and watched her take her position. As she did so he activated his scouter, examining her powerlevel. Her powerlevel averaged out at approximately 3,012, not far from his which was 3,582. Right now he had the edge, but skill level also played a part to cut down the small gap. "All right... let's go! Conflict resolution system activating.... system diagnostics at 100%", he said plainly before his straight posture and bright look in his eyes dimmed, with his head lowering until it looked to the ground. Slowly his head brought itself up, with its emerald eyes now filled with malice and his smirk suggesting pleasure at the sight of challenge. His battle personality differed greatly from his normal one. When fighting he is brutal, swift, and unpredictable. He preferred a defensive style rather than the aggressive style that most others sought. His back also relaxed hunching over slightly, to increase his defense. After all, most are quicker when they are relaxed than stressed, or at least he was. "If as enemies, then as enemies...", he said calmly. Battle Music He moved toward her then, but she moved a little faster than he anticipated, and felt a blow in his stomach area. It hurt and sent him sliding back a foot, but he recovered quickly enough to move his head out of the way of the next strike aimed at his jaw. Before he knew it, she fired four trailing ki blasts cutting off escape from his sides and his back from the blast that came straight at him. He did not have time to think so he dove into the space where they did not come at him, only narrowly escaping the blasts as they hit each other with a flash of yellow light. He hit the ground rolling and then recovered quickly as he sent an energy wave at her.

"To understand is not the point," Yuki thought to herself as she watched the elbow blow struck home. The blow likely gave her the distance to allow the blow to slide away easier than if she had used the palm strike first. She merely kept her neutral look as the balls of ki flared at their target and missed him by a hair- but only just a hair. She blew up her hair in annoyance as her opponent rolled at her and she pitched to her right side- she was right about his first attack, as she had analyzed Saiyans before. Offensive, because if this was defensive, it was not very effective. However, as she was slightly slower, the dodge was not as successful. Her side was slightly burned, though the leather remained mostly intact. The demon then attacked once more as she came at him from the left side, her eyes narrowed as she threw out another flat palm- or at least it would seem. She used his crouched position to her advantage as he knee flew out at a different angle, up and at his right cheek. It was very much a sneak attack, but if her opponent wanted to play at it this way, then she would too. Her second attack was more brutal as she grabbed for the middle of his chest and attempted to toss him into the air. She then sprung after him- if he had been tossed, then he would be mostly disoriented, or at least she hoped. She struck at his stomach in either base, at the same area that she had driven her elbow. "No, there is no need to understand, Honoo. Just battle- it should help you develop."

Honoo smirked at the sight of his attack hitting his opponent, even if it was a glancing hit. 'Oh ho ho, she is not done yet', he thought as Yuki sprung after him, sending a palm strike, or how it was supposed to look. He had calculated her speed with that strike and knew something was wrong when the attack took too long, and saw with his peripherals what she really sent at him. It was too late to dodge or block, so he was forced to take the hit with crippling force. Luckily for him, he was a cyborg, so his subroutines quickly found the source of the pain and temporarily blocked all nerves from it. He could not feel pain, but he really could not feel anything there, though the shock stunned him for a split-second. It would not be long before she struck again, this time grabbing at him. It seemed that the split-second was all she needed as she attempted to grab him. He blocked the grapple by blocking the area in which she intended to grab before forcing her arms away. She recovered quickly and sent another strike at his stomach, but this one was quickly swatted away by his left arm as it was recovering from his last block. With her now seemingly open, he wasted no time and sent a powerful side kick at her stomach area. So far this experience showed that he was stronger and faster than her, but she was still smarter. He expected her to be stunned and launched back a couple of feet but who knows what she would do?

Yuki's attacks were only just a hair slower, but that was fine with her. Muscles and speed did not make a fighter win every exchange. She watched as her last two strikes did not work, but she had so far knew that they might not hit, due to Honoo's nature in combat. She turned as her hammer blow from the stomach fail and pitched away from him before she turned around and smiled lightly. This contest had been interesting enough in it's own right. However, it was only meant to be a little spar, not a major battle. The woman pulled her hand back as she said, "It seems that the moon Demador is satisfied, but one more exchange won't hurt." She pulled back both arms and threw eight ki balls- there was no way to dodge this that she could, more than likely- again, they came from his right, left, front, and two arced for his back, the first ones that she threw. As last time, he had used the small escape point, this time, the first four and the second four spaced out to allow no escape point. In other words, instead of just throwing random punches and kicks, she analyzed fights. Honoo would have to take at least one blow- so how would he react? She watched carefully- as neither of them were experts in fighting, even they made mistakes.

Each ball struck the android, but Yuki wondered why he allowed it. She rose an eyebrow and then shook her head slightly. Honoo had started to work his best and now he stopped? The Scorn of the Moon charged at her opponent and jumped into the air as she threw her heel of her right foot at his shoulder to try and break it, or at least dislocate it. But she wasn't done, because at such a close range she unleashed more Beam Balls right at Honoo's chest. It was like she had turned into someone different than the other day, but was likely also due to her non use of the sword. It was an item that she would gladly use, but there were things to consider; Honoo was a fellow Shadowguard, and so to kill him would be foolish. It was also through her influence that he had joined, or so it seemed. She then backed off slightly as she attempted to use him like a springboard and landed on the ground in a slight skid as she turned to face him. Her eyes narrowed before she stood straight from a crouch that she had landed in and faced him with a pose for defense. More than anything, Honoo's defensive style would hurt him in the end.

Yuki shook her head and pulled her hands to her side as she charged at the other hybrid and threw a kick at his side to disable his attacks any further and then brought both her arms above her head and slammed him down on the top of his head to send him to the ground. She doubted that this would kill him, but she had to at least knock him out. She then walked straight over to him and bent down as she gripped his hair, "Honoo, I told you to go get fixed up. I'm not sure if this is what happened to you before or not. But I am sorry that it had to end this way." She then let his head go and jumped back. Ki flowed through her hands before she threw two ki balls from each, and then turned from the ground that would have steamed from the attack. She walked over to the moon blade and knelled in front of it again as she went back to her prayer to the moon.
