Frigid sat down on the couch of his place, holding up that Gem of Telepathy so the sun of planet Frieza reflected through it. "I wonder how they produce these things anyway." Alkari looked over from his computer, in the office only the next room over, "I'm sure it's some rather complex process that would bore you. Really you should focus on your training, boss. A lot to do right?" He nodded over to Alkari, "Right, so be it. I'm going in now Alkari."

He closed his eyes, slipping into the recesses of his mind. The layout fading as the Telepathy gem broadcasted his desire for a spar. He found himself actually materializing in the streets of Planet Frigid's capital city, just outside of Lord Frosts palace. Obviously not a soul to be seen this was just a telepathic backdrop, but it was obvious the gem was playing on his memories and thoughts for a change.

"Intriguing. Well, lets see who I'll be facing today." He said, looking down the road, arms crossing and tail swaying behind him, sweeping low across the street and kicking up some dust as a cold breeze blew by. He felt right at home here, figured this would be a very comfortable sparring session save any Saiyans that might try to beat in his face.

Honestly though, he had to take in the surroundings a moment. This was the upper-class area, the palace itself large and ornate. The upper-city someplace where the Cold Clan called their own, a place he'd only been to very rarely. He was restricted mostly to the lower-city and even for the jobs he did around the planet he almost never came up here. It was the dream, really, being successful, living up here with the other big names.

"I'm quite sure I don't want to talk about this right now." Ayakon said in a stern voice, "You'll understand if this is far too much for me to take in at once."

"Well yes, but if you'd just--" Aiza's comment was interrupted by the glowing red embedded gem into Ayakon's armor. "It appears you have an opponent."

Ayakon glanced down and said, "It appears so." He touched the gem and closed his eyes, effortlessly transporting himself into the astral realm.

For a moment he figured he'd fallen into a nightmare rather than into the astral realm. The Cold Clan territory was one of the last places he wanted to be, but here he was. He caught himself mid-air, floating above the actual land itself. "Home sweet bloody home, it seems." He muttered.

His Scouter beeped the existence of a challenger and with a blur of speed he arrived in front of his opponent, now standing on the street before him. A Changeling, much like himself. His first instinct was to glare and punch but he knew better. Instead he said, "Good day to you. I am Ayakon, Lord of the Brumal clan. Custom dictates that if we are to battle, I should have your name as well. I bid you to please introduce yourself and, when you are ready, you are more than welcome to attack."

He made no moves to attack, but effortlessly slid into a stance he'd studied very closely, placing one fist before him and the other in a readied stance. He hadn't bothered to transform yet, as unless this Changeling was severely holding back, he wouldn't even need to power up to his full.

It would be interesting to note that should Frigid be aware of the PTO's 'most wanted' list, Ayakon Brumal was listed for murdering a ranking officer, one by the name of Captain Arugid Brumal.

He waited, ever patiently, until his opponent appeared. He was utterly shocked to see another Changeling as his opposition. Well, not just that but the -insane- speed of which he'd arrived. His eyes widening considerably, mentally musing about how he couldn't even follow the motions of this Changeling. That look hardened, though, as he heard the name and introduction. He was, vaguely aware of the most wanted list and recognized Ayakon's name and title, what with always being on watch for a bounty for extra Zenni.

"Lord Ayakon? The Brumal Clan? You're the one who killed Captain Arugid. . ." He mused, before closing his eyes and shaking his head. "I digress my manners fail me. . . I am Frigid, of clan Layon." His, 'clan' wasn't well known, if at all. It was just another lower-class clan, of which many were unfortunately born into and then stuck in the lower class for the rest of their days.

"I'm quite curious to your story but, I wont take your time with such questions." He had no aspirations of taking this criminal in. Frankly, thanks to the telepathy gem the man could be anywhere in the universe. No he knew better, he took up a low stance, powering up, his red Ki blazing around his form as bony tail beat against the ground once.

"Just remember my name. . . Some day I'll get off this rock and make something of myself." He then kicked off the ground, flying at the Changeling. His stance, it was so solid, so strong, how experienced was this Changeling? He -had- to know, to avoid the hand of the PTO for so long he had to really be something.

It was time to test that, he swept a kick at the midsection, just a simple attack to test Ayakon's defenses.

Ayakon laughed at the mention of killing Arugid. A duel between him and his brother had apparently made it back to the PTO. The flunkies that escaped must have reported it. Amusing. "Am I really known for that? How very interesting."

He gave a respectful nod of his head at Frigid's introduction, "It is an honor, Frigid of clan Layon." The clan name rang somewhere in his mind, but he couldn't immediately place it. Perhaps back on the ship he could do a bit of research into the clan and find out a bit more.

"Please," Ayakon said, "If you have questions, ask them. Within the astral realm you learn the fine art of talking whilst one fights. It can be quite entertaining, really." He prepped himself for Frigid launching at him, easily able to keep up with the smaller Changeling's speed. As Frigid aimed a kick for his mid-section, Ayakon slid sideways with unnatural grace, grabbing at his opponent's leg in order to remove the momentum from the kick and pull him closer, sending a back-knuckle towards Frigid's face. Though he couldn't suppress the power of his ki attacks, he could easily pull punches. He managed to withdraw the force of his attack to the point where it would only hurt Frigid immensely, rather than potentially killing him and dismissing him from the astral realm.

Whether his counter succeeded or not, Ayakon stepped forward and sent an elbow towards the other Changeling's mid-section, still keeping his blows limited to only painful and not quite deadly. "Let me ask a question first, Frigid Layon. Are you a member of the PTO? Does your allegiance lie with Lord Frost or with yourself?" He left his onslaught at that, not wanting to discourage the smaller Changeling too much, or incapacitate him to the point where he couldn't speak. If he could make this match last a bit longer, perhaps he could see if he had another PTO gruntling to get rid. With any luck, he could make something of an ally out of this Changeling.

He smiled underneath his face-mask at the offer to talk while sparring as he went in for his kick. Finally! Some civility! Though he, quickly learned his inexperience in the Astral Realm compared to Ayakons, as his thoughts wandered he was fairly unprepared for the powerful counter. It felt like a vehicle just impacted his face as the back-knuckle hit him, sending him reeling back, hand going to his own face as his face-plate was practically forced back into his jaw, he was sent back to the ground, clear off his feet. The pain was, immense, and this Changeling hadn't even transformed at all. He was smart enough to know he was outmatched right then and there, but his curiosity drove him on. . .

He wanted to know more, how did this Changeling get so strong? What was he after? His questions in particular, as he came in for that elbow strike confounded him. He brought up his arms in an attempt to block, and managed though only barely. His arm muscles -screamed- at him as the force of the blow impacted, and he could barely hold his ground, sliding back and neigh loosing his balance again.

He was about to comment on the sheer force when, those questions ringed in his mind. "My, allegiance? I do not serve the PTO directly, no. I do work provided but, only to make a living. I've learned the hard way your allegiance should be to yourself. . . All too often I've seen would-be minions crushed on a whim by their superiors." He answered, honestly. He -wasn't- some PTO grunt and had no aspirations to tie himself down to that.

"Now I would have a question. . ." He noted, his body aching already. The blows of this man were insanely painful, but. . . He felt the drive to keep going, he wanted to know more, wanted answers. He -had- to know what made this Changeling so strong and what allowed him to defy the PTO that trampled over Frigid daily.

He brought up both fists, aiming for a double-punch towards the chest, his arms aching but pouring as much strength into it as he could. He followed up, bringing up his knee. He wasn't even aiming to win, he was aiming to drag this out now. "Obviously, you have no love for the PTO. How is it you've avoided them? What drives you to evade them like you have? How have you gained such strength" He asked eyes narrowing as he asked, the burning questions ringing in his mind. It wasn't really a coherent thought, three separate questions but, the big ones on his mind.

"That is understandable," Ayakon nodded. "Judging by your take on the world I'd say that you've seen what planet Frieza is actually like. The PTO is ruthless, brutal, and purely profit oriented. No one within the organization gives a damn about the lives of anyone else. Not the best way to run a business." He smirked. Not only had Frigid withstood his attacks, but he'd managed to block one of them. Very impressive, young one.

He readied himself for the counter-attack once he saw that Frigid was not going down. He kept in his stance as much as he could, but the full force of his young opponent's blows knocked him back a pace. This made him grin. "There is power there. I look forward to seeing you draw it out."

He stood up straight shortly after and prepared to respond. "The Brumal clan is notorious for being outcasts. We are an abomination of Changelings because we do not feel that being ruthless is the only modus operandi. The Brumal clan, by and large, have hearts. That explains why I am the only one left. Captain Arugid Brumal, my brother, was the black spot in our bloodline. He was Lord Frost in-training, which is why, in my father's honor, I had to take him down. I explain this to you in order to answer your question. I evade the PTO because I refuse to do things the way they do. I refuse to conquer planets and slay innocent people for the sheer thrill of it. There can be honor in combat and there can be honor in life. The strength I have gained was not easy to come by. It is only by being chased constantly that you learn to run quicker, you see. Without the PTO after me, I do not think I would have become this strong."

He smirked, "As for staying away from the PTO, I had to trust the Avalon Protectorate. The Namekians were more than happy to take me in once they were assured that I was not a spy for the PTO. The Earthlings did the same shortly after, and now I have enough power to go where ever I want without being questioned. Those that would have an evil Changeling killed can sense my aura and know that there is no malice in me." He slid back into a simple battle-ready stance and asked, "Would you like to continue, or do you believe that is enough for today?"

He listened to everything the man had to say. He was, kind of surprised he managed to push him back. Though it still felt like he was hitting a brick wall. . . He knew Ayakon was simply taking it easy on him by this point, but still. Regardless he was more interested in Ayakon's words, it was so different from what he was used to where he lived, from PTO territory and the way they scrounged a living on planet Frieza. "I couldn't agree with you more about throwing away lives. I thought I was the only Changeling who saw it as downright wasteful."

Still, he had to pause a moment, feeling utterly at a loss for words as he stated his moral beliefs. Honor? Did Changelings even teach that word to their children? Still, he was starting to grasp how Ayakon became what he was. It was only through his adversities, that he got to where he was. His own stance softened, as he absorbed all of the information Ayakon told him.

"No, I think I'll surrender gracefully here. I have much to consider, what you've just told me. . . It's eye opening." Honestly, recently he'd never considered what he would do once he got off Frieza, where he would go from there. This, had been an eye opening conversation to say the least. He didn't feel he could gain much from sparring further, one more strike from this man could probably bring him low.

It was what he'd gained in information, that mattered here.

"My goal, first and foremost, is to leave planet Frieza, find my own way among the stars. Perhaps we will meet in person, Ayakon Brumal." He said, extending a hand to shake, as he slowly began to fade from the astral plane.
