The Fool of ADBZ
|
Tapion breathed the hot air of Yaidrat deeply, enjoying it despite the discomfort it brought him. He was truly back in his own realm, and his time over in the Negative Plane had not even been too trying. Still, though, what had happened to him at the end was still worrisome. That power I accessed...It was intoxicating. Never before have I felt so in control of the world around me. Even Pan had not shown me strength anywhere near that level. Still, I wish I knew how I had accessed it, he mused, staring at his hands as he clenched and unclenched. Letting out a breath, the lone hero closed his eyes and stretched his senses to cover the planet. It was not long before an energy piqued his interest. Hmm, that wolf-alien Kularian is here. There seems to be another warrior near him, and this second one is stronger. Maybe if I combat more opponents, I can learn about that form I took on, and with that determination in mind, Tapion used his legendary speed to make his way to his opponent's quickly. He skipped across mountains, slipping through eruptions of molten rock to reach the epicenter of the ki he felt. Soon, he arrived to the outside of an abandoned mining facility, complete with dome above it to maintain some semblance of a breathable atmosphere. Once again, the ashen warrior had to thank his damned symbiosis for his ability to breath the poisonous air. Descending down upon a cushion of telekinesis, he slowly made his way into the facility. Soon, light poured into the tunnel he had entered, and Tapion found himself standing at the top of the massive mine shaft. A ghost town of sorts stood on the descending rings that made the mine shaft. On the other side of the top ring, he could just barely make out two figures there. Well, there they are. Time to go greet them, he mused, crouching down for a second. With all the built up power in his legs, the lone hero leaped, clearing the entire circle. Before he landed, though, he caught himself with telekinesis, touching down with barely a sound near the two. "Oh, so it was a Namekian with you, Kularian. Well then, all the more interesting. How about we have ourselves a little match here. Just be careful of the dome, I don't know if you two can handle that air without masks," Tapion stated with a faint smile, dropping into his favored Catpaw stance and waving for the duo to attack him. ---------------------------------------------- 1-4)Switching Equipment 5)Lost due to first post Free)Catpaw Stance Battle Stats(Ki Suppresion 25%): PL: 87,378/349,512 Ki: 43,689/174,756 Str: 47,695 Spd: 65,830 Tou: 43,943(+3995) Sta: 39,677 Vit: 43,441 Prepped Items: Prepped Weapon Techs: Verberation Blade, Ultra Slash, Inferno Blade, Aura Blade, Heal Blade, Kuzu Ryu Sen, Luciender Light Assault |

"All I'm saying..." Rem grunted as he blocked a right cross from his Lismian pal, "Is that if you spent more time practicing your energy dans, and less time trying to rend things in half, then MAYBE..." Both fighters stopped then, their eyes shooting towards their scouters, laying discarded on heaps of training gear off to the side. They were blipping in unison as a ki signature was detected moving that way. "Someone's coming..." Kular said, and they both retrieved the devices and securely snapped them over their ears, fingers dancing upon the buttons, focusing in on whatever was coming towards them. "Strong too..." "Not THAT strong." Rem observed, "Wonder what he wants." The two fighters stood there, waiting until a white skinned, red haired being pulled up short near them. Rem knew it wasn't a Yardratian, but beyond that he... Was it a Kai?
Rem's head snapped over to Kular, seeing that his friend did recognize him. "He's strong, Rem..." But Kular was smiling as he said it, obviously looking forward to fighting him. "Psh... Not that strong." Rem said, tapping his scouter once more so the guys power level popped up. "When the hell did you meet him anyway?" Before the Lismian could reply, Rem shrugged; "Nevermind. I bet he just threw some energy dans at you. I keep telling you to work on your Ki... I'll show you how to handle someone like this." And with that, the Namekian strolled over to his pile of training gear and pulled out the Staff that was on the bottom, twirling it in both hands. "If you want to fight, then you've got a fight!" Rem announced in his most epic Justice League voice, pointing the staffhead at the mohawked warrior. He's got a flute for shitsake.. How badass can he be.Rem thought, just before he threw himself headlong into battle. The Emerald skinned fighter lashed out with a quick jab towards the unnamed figures gut, then half spun to the left, his weapon whooshing through the air as it banked around, aimed for the head. Once more the Namekian spun, moving to the left this time. The staff went left in a feint, as his right hand jerked out, snapping at the pouch at Tapions belt. Rem had a pouch just like that, and was certain he knew what it contained. Mk2 Scouter1: Remove Weighted Clothes (off screen) Mk2 Scouter2: Equip Guru's Staff 1- Staff Jab to the gut. 2- Whirling Staff @ Head. 3- Icicled 4- Thieves Glove: Steal Senzu Bag. Kularian grunted at Rem's words. “I told you that it's not so much that I don't like to use ki. Just as of late I just... can't.” The words he spoke were full of... frustration, really. He wanted to use ki, to remember how to do so but even as he went through the motions, he felt his own ki reacting violently to the attempt. “Like, seriously, watch,” he spoke, holding up a hand. An orb of ki started to appear there before it trembled and popped, sending a spray of ki everywhere. “That happens whenever I try to do anything with ki. And it pisses me off.” He looked over at the scouters as they finished their little sparring session, or more correctly, as it was finished for them. He frowned as he looked at the power level that approached, as the pressure from it was... faintly familiar. And then, as the red-haired fellow appeared, Kular felt a strange sense of power flicker through him. That was the same sense that he'd felt the last time he'd fought against Tapion... and that made him curious. “Tapion... welcome,” he spoke, giving the fellow a smirk. “It's been awhile...” he continued, his hands already tightening as he felt the rush of battle filling him. Glancing at his ally, he could see that Rem wanted to have a go, to take a shot at the warrior and Kularian couldn't help but give a slight chuckle. “He's strong, Rem,” he spoke, a smile lighting his face at the prospect of a future battle. His hands tightened, and he watched the fellow, wondering what ideas he had in mind for this fight. “And what sort of match did you have in mind this time, Tapion? Something a little more... entertaining than the last?” he asked, cracking his knuckles as he watched the other, smirking. As he moved to attack, Rem decided to take the first go, which Kularian was fine with. He watched as the Namekian darted in, beginning to attack. As he did so, Kular frowned. “Hey. You told me that you had to use ki and shit, and you go in swinging your staff around. What kinda bullshit is that?” Kular asked, growling under his breath as his fists tightening, the knuckles turning white. He grunted, spitting off to the side as he saw Rem take another swing with the staff, and then quite suavely take the belt right from the warrior's waist. As he watched, he felt the rush of battle again, and knelt down near their clothing, taking a small syringe from his things, driving it into his leg, giving a sigh of something akin to pleasure as the Adrenaline filled him. “...that was cheap... but I still think it's bull shit. I know that he's stronger than that. I'll push him there,” Kular said, remembering when he'd fought with the fellow before. Tapion was holding back. Kular grunted, darting inwards as the faint aura began to build around him, the fiery red aura, almost appearing as flames. He followed in at the end of Rem's little combo, throwing a few jabs with his right before firing one with his left. “C'mon Tapion! What've ya got?” he asked, smirking before his left flickered out with another jab and the right came across with a vicious hook.

Tapion smiled as he listened to the banter between the two shortly before the Namekian drew a staff. Before his opponent even moved though, he scanned the open mind and read the green-skinned warrior's intentions. Even better, he heard the comment about his ocarina there, too. With all the easy grace he possessed, he stepped to the side of the initial blow and then limbo'd under the following swipe. That faint smile was ever upon his face as he locked onto his opponent's and winked. "It's an ocarina." Just as he said that, the Namekian's feint caught the lone hero off-guard, leaving him open to getting his senzu pouch thieved. He frowned for just a second before another roar made him sigh. He could feel the unstable energies of the Kaio-ken pouring out of the Lismian, and he could only hope the man was capable of withstanding its punishing effects. Immediately, Tapion's hands whipped out and his body began to weave. He deflected the quick jabs away from him, moving ever closer to Kularian. Then, when the alien attacked with another left jab, he tipped his head just so the blow scraped by his cheek. As the right hook came in, he stepped right up, chest-to-chest with the man even as his left hand rocketed up for a brutal pointed knuckle towards his opponent's bicep, a hit that would both protect him from damage and hurt that muscle. "Indeed, I am holding back. Considering that you've seen my maximum, Kularian, tell me if this is my all," he said with that faint smile still upon his face. A faint lunar aura enwrapped the ashen warrior, fueling him with more power. All around, his power affected the enviroment, making everything feel heavier under the burden of his strength. Stopping at double his resting strength, he made a feint as if to strike at Kularian before suddenly leaping back the short distance to the other and aiming a flurry of quick palm strikes for the Namekian's abdomen. "Show me what you hide inside, Namekian!" he yelled even as he aimed a brutal palm strike to the chin of the green-skinned warrior. Then, as he was proceeding with the necessary follow-up, he fired a powerful strike right at the Namekian's hip joint. Skipping back a few steps, he smiled at the Lismian. "So, Kularian, how much power was that?" ---------------------------------------------- 1)Catpaw + Telepathy + Dodge vs Rem 1/2 2)Catpaw + Block Kular 3 3)Catpaw + Counter Kular 4(1/4) 4)Ki Suppression(50%) + 4 Quicks @Rem 5)2 Specials @Rem Battle Stats(Ki Suppresion 50%): PL: 174,756/349,512 Ki: 87,378/174,756 Str: 47,695 Spd: 65,830 Tou: 43,943(+3995) Sta: 39,677 Vit: 43,441 Prepped Items: Cobalt Valkyrian Armor, Golden Aegis, Grylon's Carapace, Senzu Pouch(2/4), Energy Drink Prepped Weapon Techs: Verberation Blade, Ultra Slash, Inferno Blade, Aura Blade, Heal Blade, Kuzu Ryu Sen, Luciender Light Assault |

Kularian grinned as the fight had begun. He felt a certain... interest, in fighting someone this much more powerful than himself. He wanted to win, but he really didn't know that was something that was possible, even with Rem at his side. The fact that they were going to go up against a power this intense was the stuff of legends. Kularian knew that, when he went full out, this warrior that stood before them was far more powerful than the Namekian that they'd killed back on Namek. The super namek. The one that had made their blood run cold. Thankfully, Tapion seemed less blood thirsty than Sekt was. The warrior however, could still tell that Tapion was holding back, and held an enormous amount of power back. He remembered what had happened when he'd forced Tapion to go all out. That or, like some sort of animal, the warrior had asserted dominance, showing Kularian that he was no one to trifle with, without even resorting to his full power. Even when he'd fully released the power that he held... Kularian could tell, instinctually, that Tapion was still holding something back. He didn't know what, but it was there. But as he moved forward, trying to attack, the warrior's grace, the thing that made Tapion seem like he was holding back, thwarted him yet again. He grunted, wincing in pain as he felt the muscle in his arm twitch from the blow that Tapion had given. Then the warrior began to release his power, and at the words, Kularian smirked. “Not yet,” he continued, before putting up a guard that was meant to defend against what was coming next. And then Tapion was gone, and Kular didn't even have to turn around to see that he was going after Rem. “Dammit!” he cursed aloud, before flickering backwards, performing a quick kick at Tapion's face before the other foot came down with a lot more force, trying to buy Rem some time to get the hell out of the way. He landed on the ground, glancing at Tapion, not even bothering to see if Rem had managed to get away. “About half, I'd wager. But we'll get you to that full again!” he roared out as he moved inwards towards Tapion, moving to attack with more force, but still keeping from using more power than his opponent had. He fired a trio of jabs before darting inward with an elbow at the man's sternum, a quick uppercut finishing off the little combination before he darted back away, grunting. “How about we make this a little more interesting, Tapion? Let's see what you can do, and what we can do. No need to hurt anyone but...” he spoke, before he couldn't help but grin, an almost hungry grin. “I want to see that power again, to know what this universe holds that I must attain!” he called out, the Kaio-Ken aura still flaring about him.

Rem was stunned as the other warrior's power doubled. Doubled, in an instant. What.... is the Namekian began to ask himself, but a series of powerful, quick blows stuttered against his stomach, really making the Namekian wish he and Kular hadn't been sparring without their armor earlier, and broke off that train of thought. He took a breath and shook his head, right as a palm came hurtling in towards his face. But then Kular was there! Rem didn't even think as he slammed the staffs end against the ground, hurtling himself into the air with a crack of power as the sound barrier was shattered by his sudden speed. He looked down, wonder in his eyes, as Kular continued the ferocious barrage he so very much loved to unleash. "This guy..." Rem muttered, and his antenna were buffeted by a gentle zephyr as the Namekian powered himself up. He knew his maximum power, and knew it wasn't as high as this... what had Kular called him? Tapion? Was, but he and Kular had fought strong opponents before, and knew that even without powering up to his TRUE maximum, they could take him. "This... might work." Rem had a sudden thought, and smiled as he reached into a pocket and pulled free a small squared case. He popped it open and carefully selected one of the Dyno-Caps inside. He'd gotten it from a guy in Cacta, and had wanted to try it out some time... "Alright kids... Let's... not hurt daddy now..." Rem winced, closing one eye as he hit the button on the capsule and it BOOFED, releasing an inexplicable cloud of smoke. He really had to figure out why they did that... But as the smoke cleared an ovoid, leathery, slimy object was revealed. "Alright..." Rem said with a sigh, looking down and noticing that Kular was PROBABLY going to need help pretty quick. "Go! Have fun!" Rem shouted at the eggs, and threw it down upon the ground near Tapion's feet. The 'egg' splattered, and within moments dozens, and then scores of giblet looking things began to grow. "HAH!" Rem shouted as miniature arlians began to scramble and leap about one another. "THE RED HAIRED ONE!" Rem cupped his hands and shouted, hoping they'd pay attention to him. "WITH THE FLUTE!" Even as he attacked Rem, he felt Kularian recovering from the counter and rushing in for more. He almost sighed at the Lismian's straightforward style, it was just so easy to read. Spinning, he drew his blade as he turned from its sheath upon his back. Using the force of the draw to reverberate his legendary blade ever so much, Tapion whipped it out like a snake, easily deflecting the flying kick and the subsequent attacks. Then, as Kularian continued his flurry, he stepped around one of the blows and to the side of his opponent, snapping out a leg towards the alien's back even as he sheathed his sword effortlessly. "You are right, this is about half. And I must say, you are truly eager to see everything I have. I don't know if I can unleash my utmost, but from what I can feel from your Namekian friend behind me, he certainly believes it is time to stop fooling around and start using more power," he replied with a smile. Frowning for a second, he looked down to see the skittering of miniature Arlians, all crying for his blood. With no movement at all, his lunar aura appeared around him again, brightening in time with his rising power. With a slight sigh, he eased into his full strength, and his faint smile grew just a bit more. "Well, here it is, everything I have to offer in my current state," the lone hero stated, even as his ki became even thicker throughout the area. It was like his mere presence oppressed violence and malevolent desires. Yet, even as he felt his power, he grimaced for just a second. The parasite was upon his back, and no amulet kept its growth at bay. It hungered for ki, but neither of his opponents were offering the meal it desired. One day, I'll do something about the piece of Grylon lodged into my body, he mused, crouching down for a second. Both the Namekian and Kularian were within his sight, and to neither did he look. Suddenly, his form shimmered, and he appeared in front of the Lismian, palm already descending for a pointed knuckle to the throat before his knee rose up for a strike at the stomach. Shimmering again, he was upon the Namekian, both hands coming in for a cuff to both ears at the same time, hoping to unbalance the warrior. Then, with all the grace of a dancer, he whipped those hands out and flipped backwards, one foot rising up towards the chin of his opponent. Landing down easily, he raised one eyebrow as he appraised the two. "Come now, if you don't show me your complete power, then I will continue to hold back as well," Tapion said, that same faint smile ever present upon his face. ---------------------------------------------- 1)Verberation Blade vs Kular 2/3 2)Counter Kular 4(2/4) 3)Yokata Power-up 4)IST(1/8) + 2 Specials @Kular(Spd: 110,474) 5)IST(2/8) + 2 Specials @Rem(Spd: 110,474) Ki Used: Total Ki: 100% Battle Stats(Full Power): PL: 358,504 Ki: 179,252 Str: 48,819 Spd: 66,954 Tou: 45,067(+3995) Sta: 40,801 Vit: 44,565 Prepped Items: Cobalt Valkyrian Armor, Golden Aegis, Grylon's Carapace, Senzu Pouch(2/4), Energy Drink Prepped Weapon Techs: Verberation Blade, Ultra Slash, Inferno Blade, Aura Blade, Heal Blade, Kuzu Ryu Sen, Luciender Light Assault |

The Super Namek
|
That moment... That moment when you realize that all of the work and effort and good deeds you have done have been for naught. Worthless. What... What IS this guy... Rem's mouth gaped in sheer astonishment. He had not been prepared for this. That initial power level had been a lie. The pale faced warrior had made Rem feel... Powerful, for a moment. Then it had all been taken away in an instant. Rem was pushed backwards, away from Tapion as his power level skyrocketed. Skyrocketed past Rem's maximum, past anything he had ever felt. Suddenly, the war upon Namek; that tumultuous, futile battle against the Abomination known as Sekt seemed... Trivial. The fate of an entire race was nothing before the power of this strange, unknown warrior. Rem had spent weeks upon Namek, knowing the War was coming. He had planned defenses with Kizu and Guru, Kular and Gohan. He had trained up the Namekian people in skills and with experience a peaceful man like Guru simply could not pass along. He had fought the demon Galaebru, absorbed the ancient Hero Daorum into himself, and then... After all of that... He'd gotten thousands upon thousands of Namekians killed in an age old war between two schools of Philosophy. And now he was here. And found that everything he had done was near worthless in comparison to what someone like Tapion could have in his place. Rem... felt rage. How had he never heard of this guy? Where had Tapion been in the last few months as Namek descended into Chaos and Strife. Where was he when Grace, the last Pirate Rose, had been trying (with her husband) to form a coalition of Pirate Lords and Ladies who could stand against the darkness, corruption, decay, and poverty of an entire planet- Only to die at her own mother's hands. Where was Tapion as Earth cried out, desperately, for a Hero- and had to settle on three inexperienced, foolish Warriors who should have gotten themselves killed a dozen, a dozen dozen times over. And then... just as Rem was working himself into a righteous fervor, taps moved. No... Taps disappeared, there was no two ways about it. "SHIT!" Rem thought aloud, and threw his arms wide and channelling energy. It was slow, too slow. He could never get the body shield active before... A thunderous clap of energy sounded a millisecond before Rem got the body shield in place. A millisecond after that the body shield protecting Rem shattered, its energies wafting back into the atmosphere about him. Stunned, Rem blinked and saw Tapion before him, apparently having just launched an offensive strike so fast and powerful that he hadn't even comprehended what it was. Shifting his eyes towards to the left, Rem noticed that Kular too had been attacked. Such speed... Rem thought, beyond amazed at that point. If he hadn't gone for Kular first.... Rem's eyes lost their wondering expression and hardened then as he starred into the windows to Tapion's soul. Tapion smiled, and Rem had to hold back a sneer. "Who are you..." he asked as energy began to gather into him, as lightning danced across his chest. "What are you..." Rem wasn't waiting for answers, he didn't really want answers. "Where... have you been?" Rem roared then, his spirit grabbing at the energy he had gained from his merger with Daorum, and pulling it out, to the surface, to suffuse and bind with his own. A staggering, stuttering Green Aura rose around him, its edges serrated and volatile- reflecting his current mood. His head dropped then, looking towards the ground. His power level soared for a few moments, increasing to a point even higher than what he had attained when fighting Sekt. "I don't know you..." Rem said, his voice low, barely above a whisper. "And that... seems wrong." The Namekians eyes moved then, searching for those of his foe. "I've traveled this galaxy, I've seen people from one end to the next crying out in despair, hoping, needing a hero... And the best they got is me." Orbs of energy snapped into existence as Rem's hands shout out to the side. "A galaxy cries out for a salvation, and I find the man who could be the hope of billions... here?" Those two balls of light began to stutter with that same volatile, greenish hue that suffused his aura. Rem didn't know who he was more angry at. Tapion... or himself. The Galaxy needed a champion... But every time Rem tried to be that Champion, people died. Destruction followed him like a plague. Without another word, Rem threw the Spirit Balls, first one, and then the other. He roared as he charged forward, both fists alight with power as he drove them, first one, then the other, towards Tapion's smiling face. He needed that smile... gone. He needed Tapion to feel the tenth portion of all the anguish Rem felt every time his own power proved to be just insufficient enough, that others paid the price for it. Never him... He would take damage, he would get hurt, but he would survive... Always... Survive his failures. "RWAAAA!!!" Rem roared then, leaping backwards and beginning to spin, round and round. His power was staggering at that moment, even to him- but the knowledge that it wasn't even a challenge for his opponent drove Rem to the brink of control. "HAAAA!!!" He screamed his pain and futility as his body whirled itself around and around, as the winds rose and whipped about him... And then shot towards the Ocarina wielding figure before him. Kularian let out a low growl, ready to feel his power released. The beast within him, the creature that dwelt on the edges of his mind, the one that watched what he did and when he did it... it was hungry. It wanted to do something, it wanted to fight and to be let free. It paced, relentlessly within him, like a predator in a cage far too small for its greatness. Kularian did what he could to hold it back, to keep it from going free, like a caged lion from a zoo. Before, he had released it early against Tapion, and had actually managed to strike the fellow once, but he wasn't about to release that again, not until the warrior had shown his all, first. And then, just when he felt there wouldn't be a chance to release it, the red-haired warrior finally relented, and the wave of power that rolled off of Tapion nearly caused Kularian to vomit, such was its strength. He hadn't really felt the full brunt of it before; he'd been too busy being in the middle of combat, but this... this was different. It was the same, and he knew it was the same, but it was the presentation that was different. Before, Tapion had unleashed his strength to get Kularian off of him, to force the lupine humanoid back. This time... this time it was far more like standing outside a train station, and waiting for the inevitable... when the train decided to aim right for you, instead. He hissed, seeing the power emanating from Tapion, the raw energy suffocating him like a blanket as he watched, waiting for the man to move. And then he did, or at least, Kularian assumed he did. One moment, he was staring at Tapion, the next minute, he was reeling backwards from the pain, head snapped backwards from the power that had struck him. His mind was blank, the pain sending him reeling, but he clung to consciousness, not having expected that sudden burst of damage from the ocarina-playing creature. Then that blank mind of his began to fill with a single thought: rage. He didn't know if it was his own, or the rage he was feeling from Rem, nearby him. He didn't even have to look at the fellow, didn't have to speak to that ally he had happened upon in happenstance, and finding that their fates were more intertwined than anything he had expected. Rem, not this, but another, was in Kularian's past. He was presumably in the Namekian's, as well. Sai, his other ally, had tried to start a conversation with him several times since arriving on Yardrat, but the fellow could never really fully say what it was. Kularian had no doubt that he too, had found some connection between them. Those thoughts though, as quick and transient as they were, were pushed from his mind in an instant, and he let loose a low growl as he clenched his hands into fists, watching the other before giving a roar as his entire body shifted. The single thought he clung to, holding it as a child would a security blanket as his form twisted and changed, coming to be something that he had come more and more often to rely on, which frustrated him. Or it would have, at any other time, but now it just fed into his anger, fed into the rage that consumed him. “TAPION!” he roared out, his aura turning crimson once more, as if the momentary lapse had only allowed him the chance to breathe outside of Kaio Ken before he resumed the technique, not even caring the toll that it took on his body. “I WILL SHOW YOU MY COMPLETE POWER!” he roared, his eyes blazing as he shot forward, claws extended outwards as he channeled ki through his arm and down his hand. He couldn't shoot the stuff, but he could sure as hell augment his natural attacks with it, and that was exactly what Kularian did as the attacks resonated with his own ki. He had no form, no style, save for that of the hunting wolf, and as he charged inwards, he didn't doubt that Rem was launching an assault of his own and thus Kular banked, his form filled with the power of the Kaio Ken as he launched to the side before coming in towards Tapion's back, attacking with his full force, trying to do some damage to the fellow. He felt no need to kill, to destroy this warrior as Kularian could tell, even in his transformed, instinctual state, that Tapion was a good man, and meant no harm to the universe. But that calm smile seriously was pissing him off. As he launched himself, he launched three strikes with his claws, each just as vicious and dangerous as the last, aiming to rend the man to pieces, to cut him down to realize that even with all that power, he didn't have the drive to protect, as these two did. With the speed that Tapion held, this so-called instant transmission technique would be of little use to him. Why was he he here? What purpose did this swordsman have for shutting himself away from the rest of those who needed assistance? As Kular's attacks finished, he realized that these were not his thoughts, but Rem's. The two had no telepathic connection but... had been together, side by side, fighting so many foes for so long that something of the sort had occurred on its own. But those were, right now, thoughts that Kular didn't need as he shut out everything but the rage that burned within him, as a maelstrom of flames.

Tapion watched silently, his assault complete. Yet, as his dark green eyes appraised his opponents, the Namekian proved to be hiding power. Questions began to pour forth, questions that he had no doubt everyone who met him asked themselves. Why had he not been there to save them? What could possibly be more important? It was these questions that stopped the smile upon his face. The glowing balls in the Namekian's hands caused his eyebrow to shoot up. The balls rocketed out in a volley, the first catching him in the stomach and sending him up into the air. A grunt escaped the lone hero's lips before he saw the second rushing in. With effort, he smacked the second ball out of the way even as the first pummeled him downwards. No doubt following the attack, the green-skinned warrior was in his face, glowing fists smashing into his cheeks and sending him descending down faster. Tornados laced with ki began to form as his opponent spun above him, and immediately Tapion began to move. He unsheathed his sword just a bit even as his mouth opened for a scream. With glowing blade and ki-laced vocals, he ripped apart both tornados. Still falling, he found himself face-to-face with the newly-transformed Kularian. Eyes widening at the intensity of the burning aura around the Lismian, he was unready for the first two slashes that cut in the chestplate of his armor and draw forth blood in shallow gashes. His own power was the only thing keeping him alive against the assault. Yet, upon the final strike, Tapion bared his teeth and parried the blow off, falling into the darkness as the two were there above him. Well, you have been wondering where I have been? Why I haven't been helping? I'll answer those questions, he determined, his body beginning to glow from the inside. Above, all that could be seen was the darkness of the deep mine shaft. Yet, after a second, a bright light emanated out from the shadows. Power was rolling in waves from below, and it grew to even greater heights. Yet, unlike before, there was no oppressive feeling, instead it was almost like a tranquil hope was filling the area. Gradually, he rose back up into the ash-filtered light of Yaidrat, transformed. His hair was no longer just like in color to fire, it had truly become an inferno upon his head. Light seemed to glow from within his very body, shining like a star. Yet, neither of those traits compared to his eyes; an image of the ocean of the stars there instead of his normal dark green. With those alien eyes, he looked at the two. "Thou ask to my whereabouts when evil doth run rampant. I regret my answer, but I am but one, not many. Know this if thou doth remember naught else, Namekian; when thy plight is beyond thy power, ask and I shalt come," Tapion stated, his starry eyes showing no emotion. Then, without warning, his body shimmered and he reappeared next to Kularian, palm already rising up towards the Lismian's solar plexus. An image of the new moon briefly was seen, showing the strength behind the strike. "Calm thyself, Kularian. If thou but control thy anger, thou couldst be a more formidable warrior," he whispered into the alien's ear. Anger was useful, but it would destroy those it controlled. The Lismian was willingly letting it control him. ---------------------------------------------- 1)Deflect Spirit Ball 2 2)Kiai vs Hyper Tornado Attack 3)Block Kular 5 4)Apotheosis(.3%) 5)IST(3/8) + Hand of the New Moon @Kular(11.3% Ki)(PL: 600,751)(Spd: 169,538) Ki Used: 11.6% Total Ki: 88.4% Battle Stats(Apotheosis): PL: 358,504 => 500,626(496,271) Ki: 179,252 => 250,313 Str: 48,819 => 66,731 Spd: 66,954 => 102,750 Tou: 45,067 => 62,672(+3995) Sta: 40,801 => 58,768(54,413) Vit: 44,565 => 62,142 Prepped Items: Cobalt Valkyrian Armor, Golden Aegis, Grylon's Carapace, Senzu Pouch(2/4), Energy Drink Prepped Weapon Techs: Verberation Blade, Ultra Slash, Inferno Blade, Aura Blade, Heal Blade, Kuzu Ryu Sen, Luciender Light Assault |

Rem was stunned to immobility for a second, the only sound being the whine and pop of the lightning that still danced every few seconds across his chest. He was beginning to lose power, so it wasn't as showy as it had been moments before. They were going to have to win this battle quick if they wanted a chance to win, he couldn't keep this level of output up, even if it was working so far. And then... Tapions power soared again. Thrice now it had nearly doubled each time. How much more did this strange, unknown warrior have within him? Rem had not, in this lifetime, felt a power as large as the previous one, this... This was beyond insane, this was a level of power that Rem could only remember in bygone days, in another universe, when he fought side by side with the Einherjar in the last battles of the Unformed's War... Rem cocked his head to the side at the thought. The... Unformed's War... when had he remembered that? Somewhere, out there in the multiverse, another version of Rem must have recently died; returning more of the power, memories, and knowledge of the Rem Prime, the first Rem, to those that still lived. The Namekian had grown calloused, nearly dismissive of the deaths of his alteRem's, knowing it was inevitable, knowing that, in the end, the Universe would force him back into solidarity. Focus, he's going to attack now! Rem's mind screamed at him, having noticed the pattern that right after increasing his power level, Tapion disappeared from sight and let loose with a ferocious barrage of attacks. He hoped Kular had noticed it.... Rem attacked, not waiting for the imminent blows to come raining down upon him. And hit nothing. "KULAR!" Rem yelled, and instantly moving as fast as he could, extending his arm into the Mystic attack, energy swirling around his fist. He arrived near Kular, across from him, behind Tapion, just a moment to late to stop the initial attack, but continued with his attack, the fist on a collision course with the glowing fighters kidney. A moment later it became evident that Kular HAD been prepared for the attack, and he was letting loose with everything he had at Tapion. He must sense it too, the need, the urgency to pull out every trick an skill they had while they still had a chance. Rem shot into the air then, higher than either Kular or Tapion, and brought his hands together, slamming them downwards with as much strength and speed as he could muster, barely an instant after Kularian had launched a massive uppercut towards Tapion's chin. A moment later, Tapion was out of sight, down one of the steep crevices that pockmarked this location. Glad we chose somewhere deserted to spar today, Rem thought as he brought his hands high and let power surge within him. "HRAAAA!!!" He screamed, letting loose a ragged beam of power down, down, following after the descending foe. Usually, Rem was hesitant about unleashing such power, but not now. Not against someone THIS strong. A rolling, near blinding explosion from far below the Namekian rose then, its heat wafting up the cracked and torn subterranean locale to meet Rem. Looking to his left, Rem nodded at Kular. As one they reached to their belt pockets and unhitched a pair of devices. They had been developed on Cacta, as far as Rem knew, and were popular amongst the Pirates for their ability to disable, temporarily, other vessels. Fortunately (For them) They also worked on biologicals, to some extent. The rounded canisters dropped down the valley/crevice, towards Tapion...

Kularian let out a low growl, his wolven visage angered, torn, dangerous as he watched the fighter known as Tapion. Though there was no ill will between them, nothing between any of them that could even be considered irritation or anything, Kularian couldn't help the feeling of anger that thudded through his body. He relished it, reveled in it, let it fill and consume him as he didn't even notice the drool that came from between his fangs as his wide eyes watched the battle before him. Tapion was impossibly strong. Impossibly. Kularian could not even fathom such speed and strength in a single person, and yet here the warrior was, simply watching them, biding his time as the two of them gave their all. His body, namely the four points where Tapion's blows had landed, hurt, throbbing painfully. He could take a dozen hits or more from Sai or Rem and not be fazed but even a few, single blows from Tapion were enough to cause him pain and anguish. He enjoyed it. He wasn't masochistic, but the feel of pain, of fighting someone this much stronger than himself was something that he could not ever hope to change. He wanted nothing more, right now, than to fight until he had nothing left, til his heart exploded, for all he cared, to fight and do battle and injure one another... and have a good laugh at the end of the day. The oppression, the fear of death at fighting someone so powerful was not something that he had felt in this battle, and indeed, even with Tapion's strength, all that emerged was gentleness, a foreign kindness that Kularian was not familiar with. Yet he would not turn down the chance to fight such a man. Even beneath that guile, that gentle aura that barely even stirred the winds, as opposed to Kularian's own, wild and untamed, Kular knew that this man was a fighter. He was skilled, and he was dangerous. The warrior couldn't help but let a wolfish grin spread across his face, tongue lolling out to the side as he panted, watching and waiting to see what Tapion would do. He was curious as to what more the man could unleash. And then, staggeringly, he felt the man's power increase again. The presence that he held on the battlefield increased yet again, somehow, and Kular felt his own power feel less and less significant, like a candle in front of the sun. But he growled, shaking his head, forcing the thoughts from them. If he embraced defeat now, he could not win. He had no delusions about the power that Tapion held, but he wasn't about to just give up. That was not how Kularian was. That was not how he fought, and even a glance at Rem showed that the man held the same mindset. Then Tapion began to speak, his words augmented by his power, or new mindset. The old tongue, they were, and as the man spoke, Kular wondered, briefly, just what it was Tapion fought against. If he and Rem were giving their all, fighting against the forces of injustice the universe over... and Tapion was this powerful... what did this warrior fight against? What evil of the universe itself did Tapion handle? Kularian wasn't really sure he even wanted to know, to be honest... such things were beyond his realm of thought and understanding. And just as soon as he finished speaking, Tapion stopped. Kularian, instinctively, began to move backwards. This had been the pattern, thus far. If he would speak, he targeted Kularian first immediately afterwards and then attacked Rem. And for that, his ally was mostly unharmed while he had taken the brunt of Tapion's blows. As he moved, electricity gathered about him, a technique he had learned while here, on Yardrat. He didn't even know if Tapion would be attacking him first, but with how much power the man had, he didn't want to even begin to try and avoid that. And as he had guessed, the warrior was before him, attack hitting his electric shield as the warrior spoke him, calmly. The fist pushed against the barrier, before it broke through, slamming into Kularian's chest. The warrior gave a gasping cry of pain as he felt the ribs beneath the fist crack in his chest. He shuddered once, his vision starting to fade before he bit down on the interior of his mouth, the sharp pain waking him up. "No...I live and breathe on rage,” Kularian growled back. “Never would I want anything less!” he roared, and let his aura roar into the blood red flames as they swarmed about him before his arms shimmered, trying every technique he knew to get the drop on Tapion as he unleashed a storm of fists at him. He ignored, for now, the flaring pain in his chest but knew that soon, he wouldn't be able to move... he'd have to make what he had count, until then. Then as he saw Rem appear from behind, he moved instinctively, the two warriors having fought in tandem long enough to know each other's strategy. Kular lashed out with a swift, dangerous left-right combo before his fist fired upwards in an uppercut, trying to take Tapion off his feet before Rem's attack came down, aimed at him as well. As Rem charged his ki, planning on releasing a powerful attack, no doubt, Kular simply set himself up with another injection of something, twitching slightly as the liquid energy poured through him and then, following Rem's example, dropped one of the Stasis Grenades after Tapion. He twitched again, grinning.

Tapion felt the electricity drain the power of his palm, reducing the damage it caused significantly. It was still powerful, though, and he still felt that flesh on flesh collision. Ribs were crushed under his palm, and he knew his attack had landed true. The shield had served to save the Lismian from greater damage, but it had not defeated his assault. Yet, even as he had attacked, a glowing fist of power rushed out and struck him in the kidney. It was painful, but he could shrug it off, he had his somewhat intact armor to thank for that. Suddenly, Kularian's rage overtook him again, and the lone hero was forced onto the defensive against the barrage of attacks. In another show case of grace and agility, he bobbed and weaved around every single blow, eyes never leaving his opponent's. Finally, though, the Lismian succeeded, hitting him with a brutal left-right combo that lead into an uppercut. Above him, the Namekian was already in position, a hammerblow crashing into Tapion and sending him flying down into a crevice. The beam descended soon after, ionizing the air around it as it rushed down into the crevice. Seconds passed, but no explosion could be seen. Just a glimmer of light in the darkness. Then, without warning, Tapion was upon the Namekian, rushing around him and delivering dozens upon dozens of slashes that left behind a cage of light. As the last slash descended, he leaped to the top of the cage and shoved his burning sword into the top of it, causing all the fiery light to collapse in on his opponent. He descended down towards the Namekian, as if to skewer him from ontop with his burning blade. But already the ashen warrior proved his feint, in Kularian's face and his sword sheathed. The afterimage began to fade as his hand came up for palm strike towards the Lismian's shoulder joint, only to release an invisible wave of ki right before it struck. His other palm was close behind, coming towards his opponent's abdomen and likewise releasing another wave of invisible ki that was even more powerful than the last into the stomach and would hopefully send Kularian flying. Sliding back, Tapion shivered minutely, feeling the effects of the grenades the two had tossed at him, but his eyes showed the determination he had in the fight. They were good, very good, and he could tell that their teamwork made them even better. But maybe today he could teach them the weaknesses in their teamwork, so that they would be better prepared for whatever evils he missed. ---------------------------------------------- 1)PF + Dodge Kular 2(.6%)(Spd: 113,025) 2)Aura Blade(Ion Beam) + Inferno Blade + Zanzoken + Luciender @Rem(Spd: 226,050)(5.3%) 3)Zanzoken + Kiai-ho + Empowerment + Kiai-ho(Second Wave) @Kular(PL: 545,898/590,563)(Str: 133,462)(Spd: 411,000)(16.3%) 4)Stasis(1/3)(.3%) 5)Stasis(1/3)(.3%) Ki Used: 23.8% Total Ki: 65.2% Battle Stats(Apotheosis): PL: 358,504 => 500,626(487,335) Ki: 179,252 => 250,313 Str: 48,819 => 66,731 Spd: 66,954 => 102,750 Tou: 45,067 => 62,672(+3995) Sta: 40,801 => 58,768(45,477) Vit: 44,565 => 62,142 Prepped Items: Cobalt Valkyrian Armor, Golden Aegis, Grylon's Carapace, Senzu Pouch(2/4), Energy Drink Prepped Weapon Techs: Verberation Blade, Ultra Slash, Inferno Blade, Aura Blade, Heal Blade, Kuzu Ryu Sen, Luciender Light Assault |

The Super Namek

"Where.... is the explosion?" Rem asked, thoroughly confused. He looked toward's kular then, "There's supposed to be a big explosion, I swear..." He looked down the cavernous hole before him, standing upon the edge of a cliff. Then... like an angel rising from the pits of hell itself, the figure of Tapion was visible for only a second. And then Rem... Began to scream. The first bite of the blade drew blood across his chest, the next left a ragged line across his left thigh, his right forearm. With a scream of pain and terror that Tapion was trying to kill him, Rem threw his arms wide, a sheening glow of energy rising about him. But it wasn't enough. There was a tumultuous clatter and whine as the blade struck sparks in the barrier once, twice, and then broke through to score a half moon shaped laceration across one cheek. More shrill whines of blade on ki, and his right leg gave out from a deep cut across his calf. More. More. MORE. Pain built and roiled within the Emerald warrior, and his throat became Raw as he roared his pain unto the universe. The barrier helped, but not nearly enough as the attacks went on and on; none of them fatal, but every one of them that bit into his skin drew blood, and anguish with it. "NO CHANCE!" Rem screamed sometime after the pain had become one long, inextinguishable burning sensation. His right hand rose and energy spewed forth towards where his scouter indicated Tapion was. Rem couldn't verify with sight, blood was flowing freely down a scalp wound, making vision impossible for the moment. "NO CHANCE!" he roared, left hand rising to join the right, both of them unleashing powerful bolts of energy at the foe who simply grew stronger as battle continued. "NO CHANCE!" He bellowed, that phrase which had echoed his resistance to all seemingly insurmountable foes across universes and millennia, more of an instinctual ritual than a sentient thought. At some point, Rem stopped. His chest heaved as his heart pounded like so many drums of war. Sweat and blood comingled across the surface of his body, and his throat was dry as desert bones from his screams, roars, and battle cries that was so much a part of his warrior mentality. Rem was on the ground then, sitting back on his heels, feeling the life blood of his body pooling around his ankles. He didn't recall when he had fallen, but it didn't matter now. "Where are you?" He growled, deep in his throat, low and dangerous. He swung his head around, moving one aching, sheening arm to staunch the flow of blood from his forehead. He did not see Tapion, but he did see his staff a few feet away, having been dropped early in the battle. The Namekian tried to rise, to make his way over to it... But tendons and muscles in his legs had been cut near to the bone, and he fell upon his side at the first attempt. Grumbling to himself, he pulled himself hand over hand to the staff, taking it up and driving it into the ground. He levered himself against it, shakily rising to his feet once more. "There you are..." He muttered, catching sight of Kular a bit off, lying upon the ground as well, chest heaving heavily. "You look terrible." He was speaking mostly to himself, and half laughed at his own joke, considering his own state of appearance. Then his scouter beeped and Rem whirled. "THERE!" He shouted, raising the staff head into the air and pointing it to a distant object. "You're mine!" Energy and lightning danced around Rem once more as his power level increased. The staff head, where Rem had long ago embedded the mystical stone he had received back on Earth, glowed with power, bright and intense. The Namekian's legs began to tremble. "Not... now... damn it." He whispered, finding, within him, reserves of energy he had not known he possessed. "Just one...." But it was useless, and he fell to one knee, but kept the staff head up, pointed towards Tapion as more and more of Rem's essence filled the gathering energy. "I WILL NOT FALL!" Rem roared, the instant before a massive, meters wide shaft of blue green light exploded from the head of the staff. Everything seemed to go hazy for a few moments after that. Blackness crept in on the edge of Rem's awareness, he found himself face down upon the ground, and pushed himself over onto his side. As he flipped over his hand brushed something soft, wet, matted, and very furry. "Maybe... enough for this..." Rem whispered as he forced his eye lids to remain open. A white light and a gentle pulse arose from the Namekian's hand as it lay upon his allies fur. What remained of the Namekian's power transferred to Kular, healing him, empowering him. "Hey..." Rem coughed out a few seconds later. "I think it's your turn. I'm just going to lie here for a second." "You look like shit..." Kular growttered* as he got to his feet. "Ah, no worries..." Rem said with a sloppy, delirious smile. "Besides, I took his senzu's earlier, gimme a second or so to rest and I'll be right as rain. I loosened the pickle jar, go pop it's freaking head off." Kular needed no further urging, and was gone in a flash, off to battle. "Alright, yeah... Thought I was taking these so he wouldn't use them to extend the fight." Rem laughed as he felt at his shirt for the pocket he had stuffed the pouch of senzu's into. "Didn't think I'd actually need one myself when this all started, not against someone so weak." Rem's hand patted up and down, but felt nothing but torn fabric and blood. "HAH!" he coughed out a laugh as he struggled to fight against the darkness. "Asshole tore my shirt and I lost his senzu's..." Rem coughed again, pretty sure one of his ribs had pierced a lung. "Ah well," his hand flopped to the ground in exasperated exhaustion. "That was a hell of an attack though... Going to need to get me a sword..." *Growttered: Growl Muttered. Cuz he's a wolf. Yup.

There was little more that could be done, now. The two had unleashed everything that they'd had in their arsenal, and had sent down Rem's largest attack down at the fellow. Kularian panted, his breathing coming in ragged as he felt the broken ribs poking into his lungs, making it difficult for him to breathe. It was not something that he enjoyed feeling, that was for certain as he touched down on the ground, his entire body crying out in pain from the fight so far. But through his scouter, he watched the Ion Beam descend into the darkness below... and vanish. Kularian blinked, watching. “Uhhh...” the wolf stated, not entirely sure what had happened. From the other times he'd seen Rem use the attack, there was usually a gigantic explosion that followed it. The fact that, that hadn't happened made Kularian a little... wary. Rem began to state, his words coming in broken, almost paranoid levels about how the explosion should be there. Kular tapped his scouter, frowning. “No signal,” he spoke, meaning that there wasn't a signature of Rem's power anywhere down below, which meant that... Then there was a flicker of movement and, had Kularian the ability to see things coming faster, there even then wouldn't have been a chance for him to see what had just happened. It was... impossibly fast. Again, he used that phrase to describe Tapion and while he felt that it really didn't do him justice, that was the only bit of information that came to his mind that even comprehended what he saw. One second, he had been watching the warrior descend downward with an amount of speed that was tantamount with both Kularian and Rem's power... and the next he was ascending with many, many times that speed. “He can't be that fast, no one's that fast,” Kularian spoke, his words still coming out of his mouth even as he watched Rem being virtually sliced to bits. Then, as he watched, the warrior turned towards him, and Kular didn't even have a chance to blink as a wave of invisible force slammed into his chest and he gave a cry of agony as he flew through the air and, even as he did so, he felt a much, much more powerful force slam into the ground where he'd just been, sending chunks of rock everywhere around him, as he panted, his body wracked with pain. He didn't even have a chance to recover himself as he landed on the ground, giving another soft cry. His entire body was wracked with agony, with more pain than he was pretty sure that he'd ever felt... but at the same time, he felt elated. The pain was giving him some perspective on this fight. He was realizing that Tapion was not only impossibly powerful... that he was also Kularian's next prey. He had to surpass this warrior. What else could he do? He wanted to defeat the warrior in combat and, not even with Rem by his side, but in single combat. Now? Now he couldn't even hold a candle to the man and was realizing that he was only having a chance to hold on due to Rem's ability here, assisting him. By himself, Tapion would've simply danced around his fists, making a mockery of him while he continued to swing randomly, hoping to hit the warrior and not even coming close. He needed more power, needed more strength to push himself past that limit, to arrive at a place where he'd have a chance to stand with even footing with Tapion. That was his new goal, that was giving him his new direction in where he'd grow. No longer would he focus on gaining strength simply to keep up with Rem's almost constant gain in power without doing any work. No longer would he focus on that for his own means, for no real reason than he could do it. He was going to force himself to gain power to fight against Tapion, who used a power that was so similar, yet so different from his own. He gave a grunt, hissing under his breath as he forced himself to sit up, giving a cry of agony from his chest ,which exploded into pain at his movements. And then, before he tried to stand, he saw a massive beam of power from Rem aimed at Tapion who was flickering about the battlefield. He grunted, wincing at the light and watching the powerful attack streak across the sky, and he almost wished that he had that same power, to unleash the power of his own ki at that close of a distance but... he could not. He growled, slamming a fist into the ground, which crashed under the force of the blow, and he looked down at his hands, knowing the same destructive force that Rem held in his ki, he still had in his hands. Then, he felt the Namekian's hand on his shoulder, and the muscles and bone sinew from his chest knit themselves together. He gave a low grunt as he got up to his feet then, smirking. “Yeah bro. Take a break. I'll see about finishing this,” he spoke as his aura, which had raged in its normal dark blue suddenly exploding as an inferno of red as he shot forward, clenching his hands tightly into fists as he watched the one known as Tapion, or at least, his power signature as he streaked across the sky. “TAPION!” he roared out, alerting the man to his presence. His own claws began to alight with ki as he moved, and he gave a growl of danger as he moved inwards, slashing viciously at the warrior. He gave it everything he had, not knowing just what was left in him, but he wasn't about to give up. “I WILL DEFEAT YOU! IF NOT TODAY, THEN IN THE FUTURE! I WISH YOU NO ILL WILL... BUT FROM NOW ON YOU ARE MY PREY!” he roared out, giving the other a grin of excitement, of battle. He wanted nothing more than to continue this fight for all eternity but... he knew that eventually he was going to get worn down...unless something insane happened.

Something insane would indeed happen. The namekian and lismian were each blessed by a rare star, one that gave them obscene luck in the most trying of times, even if it often ended up helping them little. Warriors of that calibur couldn't start slinging energy around like that without getting a little bit of attention. The moment the fight had started the saiyan had begun moving. Being much slower than the other three, and unable to breathe the incredibly toxic volcanic ash, it had taken him the entire fight up to this point to find it. Fortunately his new scouter aided in that capacity, guiding him around areas that could potentially kill him. Funny how long he'd been walking around this planet and hadn't managed to die. Now he knew what Rem and Kular saw in these things. Finally, after what felt like hours, he reached the ravine where Rem and Kular had been doing....whatever they'd been doing. “Whoa.” Sai muttered as his scouter returned a few energy readings. Whatever they were up against down there was...ridiculously powerful. On a level Sai didn't think anyone in the living world could actually reach. If the scouter was correct, the heavy hitters of the justice league had been driven into a corner. That meant it was time for the leagues ace to make his entrance. That ace was him of course. Though no one had actually called him that before, ever. The saiyan launched himself over the edge, free falling for about twenty two seconds before he landed. The volcanic rock split and gave way as he bent his knees to absorb the force of the landing. Sai looked up to the one his friends had been fighting, finding he didn't recognize him as one of the leagues enemies. “Leave you two alone for an hour and you get your asses kicked.” He said as he dug into a pouch on his belt. He moved to rem, pulling a vial of green liquid from the pouch before tossing it to the namekian. He glanced to the lismian. Kular looked fine enough. “I'll be cutting in, if you don't mind, Kular.” His attention turned now to the one who'd done this, a grim expression of determination crossing over the saiyans face. “I don't know who you are, but you done goofed.”Sai said, reaching into his belt pouch again. This time his hand returned with a small black sphere. “I'll take you on from here!” He shouted, hurling the stasis grenade in the red haired ones direction. Without waiting to see the effect of the grenade, Sai drew upon his energy. An aura exploded out from him, hair standing on end. Immediately he let a war cry loose, throwing his hands over his head. The reddish gold aura seemed to grow more violent in the way it flowed, ki forming in the saiyans palms. The cry halted momentarily before Sai again bellowed in fury. He flung his arms in the red haired mans direction, letting a beam of purple energy loose. Again, the saiyan did not wait to see its effect. There was an even better attack to follow that one up. His hands slammed together, energy charging between them. The saiyans aura gave way to red as he employed the kaioken technique. Slowly Sai drew them apart, revealing an orb of crackling energy. A grunt escaped Sai as he threw his hands forward, unleashing a larger and potentially more devastating energy beam. Hopefully some of that had actually mattered. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Actions: Mk 2 Scouter 1: Lost Rem Mk 2 Scouter 2: Stasis Grenade Taps Action 1: Go Giji Action 2: Freezer beam (6.5%) Action 3: Kaioken x1 + Ion beam (10.5%) Action 4: Lost Kular Ki used: 18% Total Ki used: 18% ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Fool of ADBZ
|
Both warriors fell to his attacks, forced down out of the sky. Grasping himself with telekinesis, he stayed above, simply observing the two. One eyebrow rose up slowly as he watched the Namekian rise again, raising both hands and releasing a plethora of blasts towards him. Tapion stayed in place, feeling the energy colliding with him. It was painful, but a lot less so than all the attacks he had felt before. Hmm...he's gathering energy, he mused, smoke from the numerous blasts clouding his vision. With senses attuned to his opponent's power, he used his psychic prowess to skip out of the way of the massive beam as it pierced the smoke. He emerged from inside the cloud, only to turn his eyes to see the Lismian being healed by the green-skinned warrior. Well, only one seemed to be out of the fight. Readying himself mentally, the lone hero came under a massive assault of numerous blows. His body was quite literally pummeled down out of the sky. The pain was rather large, considering the difference in their power, but the Kaio-ken was like that. It bridged the gap between two disparate powers, making it possible for the weaker to overcome the monsters. Falling out of the sky after the final strike, he landed roughly, already feeling the bruises forming. The Lismian may have struck wildly and thoughtlessly, but some of those attacks had been successful in what a true punch was meant to do. Still, though, he would have to conquer that anger if he wanted to be a true threat on the battlefield. As it stood, Kularian was like a child with too much power when it came to battle. But, it looks like they-oh, lords, another one? Tapion thought, looking up after a black sphere fell at his feet and he felt another power rise up above him. There, a Saiyan stood in the false Super Saiyan state. A beam of energy rushed down at him, exploding in a concussive wave that made him stumble back. Soon after, another beam rushed down, similar to the one that Namekian had used, but much weaker. It exploded, though, releasing a force of power that threw him straight back and into the glass of the dome, breaking straight through it into the poisonous air beyond. Laying there in the heat of Yaidrat, the ashen warrior sighed. It truly was troublesome. Three opponents, and one completely fresh to the fight. With some effort, he forced himself to his feet, staggering just a bit from the damage his body had received. I will have to deal with this immediately, he determined, drawing his sword just enough to show its steel to the light above. His own ki flowed into the blade, and emerged back out as a healing light. Quickly, his body's wounds were lessened, allowing Tapion to stand up to full height and calmly walked back into the dome. Ash clung to his body just a bit, and, with a tranquil ease, he brushed some away and looked at the fighters present. "Thou hath done well, unrefined as thou art. But, Saiyan, have thee any idea to why I made issue with thy comrades? For them, I have presented an image of the pinnacle of power, a mount of which thou must surpass, or thee shalt be lost to the waves of shadows coming anon. But, if thou truly wish to be my opponent, Saiyan, I suggest thee take thy friends away and return to me after. I will take thee on honorably, as I have heard whispers that your kind desires most of all, and show thee what thou art wanting in," he stated, crossing his arms and watching the three with those same starry eyes, so inhuman in their gaze. ---------------------------------------------- 1)Telekinesis(RP Fluff) + Dodge Super Kamehameha(.3%) 2)Healing Blade(10.3%)(25% Damage, 10% Fatigue) 3)Stasis(1/3)(.3%) 4)Stasis(2/3)(.3%) 5)Stasis(2/3)(.3%) Ki Used: 11.5% Total Ki: 53.7% Battle Stats(Apotheosis): PL: 358,504 => 500,626(484,778) Ki: 179,252 => 250,313 Str: 48,819 => 66,731 Spd: 66,954 => 102,750 Tou: 45,067 => 62,672(+3995) Sta: 40,801 => 58,768(42,920) Vit: 44,565 => 62,142 Prepped Items: Cobalt Valkyrian Armor, Golden Aegis, Grylon's Carapace, Senzu Pouch(2/4), Energy Drink Prepped Weapon Techs: Verberation Blade, Ultra Slash, Inferno Blade, Aura Blade, Heal Blade, Kuzu Ryu Sen, Luciender Light Assault |

“Well...That didn't.....do.” The saiyan said as the super being simply walked back into the battle area. This was pretty serious. Normally this was where Sai just randomly showed up and stole the win from the people who'd actually fought the battle. But to be able to just shrug off his attacks like that. Normally people Rem and Kular had wailed on couldn't do that by this point. This guy must have been something really special. Something he'd wreck. Hopefully. Probably not.
“I have no idea what the hell you're saying.” He admitted, aura slowly fading back to the normal colors of the giji form. If that hadn't worked, he'd just turn it up as high as he could go. “Speak plain basic. I understand that. Oh, a jazyk Saiyan příliš, myslím. Můžete mluvit, že?“ Without waiting for a reply he rushed in, performing a spinning jump when he reached the alien. One his feet whipped out, hopefully slamming into the things face. His other leg came down on the stone, Sai immediately pushing off again to repeat the spinning kick. Sai fell backwards placing his hands on the ground before retreating in a series of flips. The saiyan shrugged as he came to a stop near his allies. His kaio-ken had ended, but absolutely nothing was stopping him from turning it back up. That probably didn't even hurt the bastard. When no reply came he ignored it. No one he knew spoke the saiyan language anyway. Not even the few saiyans he'd met. "Kaio-ken. TIMEEEESSSSS TENNNNNNNNNNNN!" He bellowed immediately afterward, aura once more giving way to red, though this time it flared higher and was even more violent. Again he rushed in. Again he spun as he closed the distance, swinging one of his elbows back in the hopes to nail the alien in the chest. Sai Spun once more, attempting to jab twice before spinning yet again, bringing one foot up in the hopes to round house kick the alien in the face. Once more without waiting to see the effect, though in truth solely because the writer of this post can't claim to have kicked Tapion, Sai retreated back to the area where Rem and Kular were. ---------------------------------------------------------------

The Super Namek

[dohtml]<iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/wP4ZmSiTeSY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>[/dohtml] The Namekian warrior lay there upon the warm, red brown, porous ground, silently chuckling to himself. He remembered now... Remembered so much. As his scouter told him what he would already have known without it, his body gently spasmed with laughter. "Sai..."
"I've missed that guy." Rem said, finally managing to bring his chuckles under control. Not Sai himself, of course, they had just seen each other an hour hence back at the ship. But... Sai. For the first time during the battle Rem had a few moments to think, and his mind seemed to want to catalog the new information he had recieved earlier from the Alterem. Sai... was part of that knowledge. Not this Sai, not quite... But another one who, long ago, had helped the Namekian overcome the greatest foe he would ever face, and might yet face again. "How did I not remember that guy..." Rem asked himself as he drank the concentrated healing drink Sai had tossed down on his way to fight tapion. Beside that long ago foe, Tapion was but a stepping stone. Sure, now, here, he might be more than they could handle... But... with his two bro's by his side, Rem knew they had a chance to overcome any obstacle. The Namekian thrust himself to his feet then, reaching down and grabbing the staff. He looked around until he saw the dull, brown canvas bag a dozen yards away. He smiled at his luck as he approached, picked it up, and saw that it had been slit open by one of Tapion's various sword attacks. He sighed in relief at finding one of the two beans inside, and downed it, feeling kind of bad about eating another man's senzu, but this was an emergency. And then he looked up, leaning heavily on the staff as he starred into the distance as the Saiyan Powerhouse went to town on a foe he knew nothing about, and had never met before. But... even with the odds stacked even more against him than they had been against Rem and Kular, he still drove ahead, stubbornly refusing to be cowed by anyone. "Yeah, same dude." Rem decided, and gave a rough chuckle at the man. With his body healed and Sai slowing down after loosing a hell of an offensive, Rem decided it was time to move, and did. His legs almost immediately seemed to disappear from the rapid clip as he closed the distance between himself and Tapion. "Huuuuuu." Rem began to intone, power increasing around him in ragged lines of green and red, twisting together around him, intermixing with the lightning that had stopped sparking earlier, but now leapt back into action, zinging and shooting across his chest. Sai moved away then, and Rem knew it was time. "AHHHH!!!" He screamed, leaping into the air towards Tapion from a nominal distance, closing the space between them rapidly- RIGHT up into the moment he unleashed a full force Ion Blast. His momentum was stopped, dead in an instant- and then he began to shoot backwards nearly as fast as he had approached their foe. Then.. there was an explosion. It raged across the cliffs and skies of the area they were in, spreading about like some sort of orange shadow. Second later Rem spoke aloud. "I can respect a solitary hero, doing his thing." Rem enunciated and vocalized, throwing his voice across the distance between him and Tapion. "But what you haven't yet understood... Is that we are a team, and that does not make us weaker." He grinned at Kular, and nodded at Sai in turn. "We are greater than the sum of our parts, and if you want us to quit, then by God, you have to do a LOT better than WHAT YOU'VE DONE SO FAR! HAAA!!" Another beam of energy burst form from the Namekian's hands, but he had speed teleported right before shooting it, quickly reclosing the distance between himself and Tapion in the instant before he fired...

As he watched Tapion sail downwards, the wolven male let out a panting sigh. He knew he was burning his body, now, constantly exposing it to the stress of Kaio-Ken. But he couldn't stop now, he had finally started to put the fight into a full swing and he was getting a chance to fight back. But as he moved, he felt his entire body shudder in protest. He looked down at his hands, seeing a double pair, and while he knew a technique that gave him four arms, he was pretty sure he wasn't using it. He was nearing the end of his rope, here. He closed his eyes for a moment, just feeling the air around him as he stood on the edge of the rocky platform, his entire body shuddering. That momentary measure of time in having his eyes closed, he actually felt himself drift away for a moment, and he blinked, shaking his head as he realized that he was sensing another power level, here. “Who..?” he began, when he saw his Saiyan ally, Sai, having appeared seemingly out of nowhere, giving a bit of reprieve to the two other warriors. He hadn't ever thought that he'd be so glad to see him, but he couldn't help a slight grin. “Sure,” he said as he responded to the Saiyan's offer to cut in. Kularian watched as Sai began his own assault, unleashing his own torrent of power as he tried to do something, to turn the tables on the mowhawked warrior as best he could, and he watched as there was a violent explosion, and a shattering of glass as the other was sent outside. Kularian took a breath, almost having believed they'd won for a moment, before he saw Tapion return, looking somehow better even after Kularian had unleashed a full assault against him. He grunted low, his eyes threatening to close again, but he resisted the urge. Sai chose that moment to attack again, and... while Kularian wanted to add himself into that onslaught, he just couldn't muster the energy, couldn't bring himself to move. Every bone in his body, every fiber in his muscles ached. He had never pushed himself as hard as he was now, but he wasn't about to quit, no matter what happened. As Sai finished his assault, he moved to take a step forward when Rem announced his own time to attack by charging up, and Kularian shook his head, not wanting to be in the vicinity of Rem's target, knowing that it generally caused a very wide area around it to fall prey to damage. Then, as he watched, two beams of energy rocketed out from the Namekian and, over the din of the explosions, Rem gave a speech of some kind. To be honest, Kularian couldn't hear a damn thing over the dull ache in his head and the now-ringing in his ears. However, based on the tone, he supposed it was some majestic last stand. “...All right...” Kularian growled as he forced himself to stand again, giving a low growl, before he threw his head back in a vicious howl, his aura exploding around him as he pushed himself into the land of Kaio-Ken once more. The inferno of an aura raged around him, giving him the appearance of what some considered a hellhound before he flickered forward, giving everything he had, now. If Rem was going to throw those huge ass beams of his around, and Sai was going to burn his life away with Kaio-Ken, so too would Kularian. He wanted to shout a battle cry, to unleash his rage in a audible format, but he was too tired. He was just exhausted, completely from head to toe. He hated it, he was almost always in his prime condition, but this was more than he'd done before, this was having him push beyond his limits. He reached Tapion and, without having the ability, or the mental capacity, to unleash anything more spectacular, he unleashed his total assault on the warrior again. His arms shimmered, becoming four times as many as he began to attack, throwing everything he had at the warrior. Storms of attacks rained down upon the other, giving everything that Kularian had in the attack. He struck out with every attack that he could come up with, throwing claw after punch after claw, trying to bring Tapion down, somewhat. Then as his assault ended, he felt his arms grow heavy, and he knew that it was only because of Kaio-Ken that he was still standing, at this moment as he took a step backwards from the warrior, his eyes half-open as he tried to fight through the pain, the exhaustion, the everything that thudding through him, right now. He was standing right now only because Rem had healed him, and that he was channeling Kaio-Ken. He was afraid what more would happen with Tapion once the warrior was able to come out of the effect of the Stasis Grenade... they'd managed to slow him down some, but what else could they do? It was like trying to fight against lightning, here...

The Fool of ADBZ
|
One eyebrow rose at the Saiyan's response. He was not well-versed in the modern Saiyan language, having only learned the archaic version from five hundred years prior. He knew what the man was saying, but some of the grammar and speech patterns just felt...odd to his old ears. Who was he to speak, though, he was over a thousand years old and he was calling the way the Saiyan said the word 'or' in their language odd. "My apologies, young one, but in my current state, my tongue doth turn a more ancient tune," Tapion managed to reply in his hollow voice as his opponent rushed in. The transformed Saiyan's foot caught upon the side of his face, yet he did not budge, not even an inch. Unlike the Lismian, whoever the man was did not possess an incredible strength. Granted, the Saiyan was no doubt powerful, but he had yet to even come close to grasping the power that a true Super Saiyan possessed. Such enemies were...painful, to say the least. Yet, as the man continued to attack, he raised the level of Kaio-ken he was using, causing the lone hero's eyes to widen. He could immediately see the strain it put on the newcomer's body, obviously not as used to it as Kularian was. The next strike came out, actually causing him to take a step back from the force behind the elbow. Granted, his somewhat intact armor did take a decent amount of the damage away. Two quick jabs were thrown and followed immediately by a roundhouse kick that caused his head to turn. "Přestat, Sai Penin," he stated in the language of the Saiyans, but before he could speak again, he was interrupted by the rising power of the Namekian. A massive beam of energy roared out at him, its energy chaotic and destructive. Doth he not realize what manner of environ he persists in? he questioned to himself, bracing himself for the impact of the attack. Upon the ashen warrior's back, the parasite glowed, hunger awakening it. With aplomb, it stretched out golden threads of an odd energy, threads that rushed out to meet the ki from the Namekian and devoured it handily. No longer did it share the meal with its host, though, a fact that was a worry for him. But before he could begin to muse, Tapion was forced to face the second attacker of the three up close. With reflexes born of numerous battles, his buckler-equipped arm whipped out and smacked the blast away, sending it careening into the ceiling of the dome and utterly obliterating a huge section of the top. His starry eyes followed the blast to its destination, and for the first time that day, he frowned. Stretching out his mind, he did his best to create a veil of psychic energy that kept the toxic gases away from all four of them. But, with his focus elsewhere, he was not ready for the sudden blitz from the Lismian. Like before, dozens of quick blows rained down upon him, actually forcing the lone hero to his knee as he tried to keep his focus upon keeping the toxins away. Soon, so thankfully soon, the assault ended. For a moment, he stayed kneeling, just reaffirming his control of his aching body and of the telekinetic shield above them. With a deep exhale, Tapion stood and looked to the three warriors, something close to righteous anger upon his face. "Doth thee desire death so much that thee would forget thy own battlefield? Hast thy minds left thee and made it forgot that toxins await thy lungs outside these walls? For if not, then why hath thee destroyed the very barriers keeping thee alive?" he exclaimed, revealing the source of his anger. Warriors of their caliber should know better than to forget where they were in the heat of the moment. Even worse, the very enviroment would be their downfall against him, as the ashen warrior was immune to the atmosphere's deadly vapors. Then again, he sometimes wished he could get drunk. "More so than thy world outside, thou art ignoring the one inside. In but a short span, thy newest ally has fallen dramatically in power. Kularian, thy unabashed use of the Kaio-ken is visible upon thee. And Rem, thou art the freshest among thee all, but only after thou hath consumed a Senzu and a potion most odd," he stated, slowly drawing his sword from its sheath. The intended effect was to denote a non-aggressive action as well as to hide the pain his body felt. With a sudden downward strike, he sunk the legendary blade a good six inches into the rock underneath his feet and rest his hands upon its pommel. "If thou wilt be so reckless with thy lives, then I wilt take issue no long with thee. I admit my defeat in the face of thy youthful abandon," Tapion stated in his eerie echoing voice. His star-filled eyes serenely watched the trio, waiting for their response. ---------------------------------------------- 1)Grylon 1st Ion Beam(.3%) 2)Reserves + Deflect 2nd Ion Beam + Telekinesis(RP Fluff)(.3%) 3)Stasis(3/3)(.3%) 4)Stasis(3/3)(.3%) 5)Stasis(2/3)(.3%) Ki Used: 18.5% Total Ki: 72.2% Battle Stats(Apotheosis): PL: 358,504 => 500,626(484,778) Ki: 179,252 => 250,313 Str: 48,819 => 66,731 Spd: 66,954 => 102,750 Tou: 45,067 => 62,672(+3995) Sta: 40,801 => 58,768(42,920) Vit: 44,565 => 62,142 Prepped Items: Cobalt Valkyrian Armor, Golden Aegis, Grylon's Carapace, Senzu Pouch(2/4), Energy Drink Prepped Weapon Techs: Verberation Blade, Ultra Slash, Inferno Blade, Aura Blade, Heal Blade, Kuzu Ryu Sen, Luciender Light Assault |

Sai actually lost his train of thought when the alien in question was able to respond in the saiyan language, or something close enough too it. Stop. So he did. Sai slid to a stop as he moved to join in the fight again. The saiyan scratched the back of his head, releasing both the power of his kaioken and the giji form. Almost immediately he fell to a knee. Having all of that fatigue hit him all at once. How'd this joker know his name anyway? After Kular and Rem had gone ape shit, the alien continued to prattle on. The dome was broken and now apparently toxic air was going to flood in. Strange considering he'd walked here and hadn't felt poisoned. Maybe it was just the air more closely around this volcano. The saiyan grunted and forced himself too his feet. With glances to Rem and Kular he nodded his understanding. “I guess we don't need to continue..Hey, what's your name, anyway?” Sai asked finally, realizing now what exactly he'd done. This was not a battle to the death, despite appearances. This guy was actually willing to surrender just to keep them from getting themselves killed. Noble of him. “I suspect we should leave this place.” Sai spoke again, craning his head up as his ship came into view. “Do you folks need a lift?” -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- blah blah blah blah. Sai accepts the surrender. |

Kularian let out a low growl, his body's entire muscular system beginning to stop working for him. He took a step forward and had to keep his Kaio-Ken intact to keep from falling. "Ghhh," he managed out, simply watching, and listening to Tapion as the warrior spoke. He looked to the edge of the dome, seeing where they'd sent the warrior through the wall. Now, no longer under the lust of battle as he tried to keep himself alive and awake, he looked over to that hole, and his sensitive sense of smell picked up on the poisons immediately. He winced, and, as his body's energy ran low, he reverted back to his human form, and almost immediately went to the ground, but forced himself to stay standing. He couldn't believe that he'd been so reckless but... then again, he knew how he acted under that transformation. He let everything go, all the pain, the fear, the uncertainty... everything, every shred of doubt that might make him fall back was converted instead to raw anger. And it was dangerous. And now, now after he had let the rage of his lycanthrope form leave him, did he finally hear the words that Tapion had spoken to him. "I cannot control this anger, Tapion," he responded, clenching his hands in a rather futile gesture of unhappiness. "I don't know if you know what it's like, but... the anger that's there, that consumes me..." he began, but trailed off, as he wasn't quite sure how to finish that statement. "But I appreciate you doing this... for seeing through our recklessness to keep us all alive." "I am in your debt." --- RPz |
