--Training Battle, No Kill, No Steal, Nobody can join in--

Cold wind blew through Bojack's hair as he looked out into the sky from atop Kami's lookout. Looking around, there was nobody else on the lookout, and Bojack was really hyped up on some energy drinks. The only way he was going to calm down was from a good fight, and he was about to try and do just that. Quickly he turned around and walked inside the palace in the sky, and went into his tiny quarters. Opening the door, he removed his weighted vest and threw it onto the bed in his room. In the corner of the room he saw his Bansho Fan, which he grabbed and attached it to his back with a sheathe.

After departing his room the alien walked through the numerous hallways of the grand palace and traveled to the edge of the island in the sky. Looking down, he knew it would be a long way to the ground. Leaning forward he dropped down, skydiving and picking up speed quickly. Gravity pulled the massive warrior down, and quickly too. Before long he could see the ground beneath him, and he began to use some of his ki to slow his descent. Eventually he was in control of his movement again, and he glided over the forest that surrounded the pole that kept the lookout up.

With his eyes and mind, he searched the area in front of him as he flew. Sensing a worthy opponent was tough on this planet, because most humans were terribly weak. Mountains were ahead, and he had to be careful flying through them, weaving in and out. When he was flying over a plateau, he spotted a being that was familiar to him. Android nineteen, the pale machine that he had fought in the past.

"Hey, wanna go for a quick fight?" Bojack yelled from the sky, slowly descending. Upon reaching the ground he took a makeshift fighting stance, trying to entice the android to do battle with him.

The surrounding area was much colder today. Measured temperatures have dropped considerably since #19 decided to venture out into the mountains, declining an average of ten degrees Fahrenheit per day. It was an expected occurrence, however, as higher latitudes typically yielded cooler climates. High above sea level, this mountain range was another one of the many areas that he had to explore, to check, and update any geographical information in his data banks. As indicated from previous experiences, the machine’s records were vastly outdated; while there were no seemingly immediate benefits in scouting this area, this information may come in handy later on.

As one could imagine, it wasn’t a particularly exciting task. He did not discover anything out of the ordinary that would spark interest, nor was there another being to accompany him on the journey. Fortunately, those factors would not affect his performance significantly; he had the capability to express emotions such as loneliness, but the android was unable to actually “feel” it. Still, before he had left his residence in the Northern Mountains, the android had made sure that his power supply was enough to last the amount of time extrapolated from the mathematical models. Margin of error was definitely accounted for, and should any significant threat emerge during this expedition, he would be ready.

Landing on a flat plateau, #19’s blue eyes started to scan the vicinity before they suddenly pulsed a dull red. The device located in his cranium was picking up a power measurement. Whoever the energy signature belonged to, it was overhead and approaching his position fast. Whatever potential power output was quickly suppressed as the pale synthetic being merely looked upwards. A massive green skinned humanoid was descending as words echoed in an otherwise empty area. The build, the voice, and the measurement of power were all compared to the files in his system. Within a millisecond, the best match within 2% error was the identity labeled as “Bojack”.

It would appear that it was a small world, indeed. Maybe he should stop going outside and lock himself back into his stasis pod. Out of all the times #19 had visited the outside world and conduct his own activities, nearly 67% resulted in someone else running in him--sometimes, literally. And more often than not, complete strangers would offer to partake in fighting matches. Perhaps his population selection was skewed, but at this rate, he would have some interesting reports to give to Doctor Gero.

At least this time, it was a familiar face. The last time he had met Bojack, both of them ended up in a fighting match that escalated rather quickly. Perhaps the tradition of combat was part of the culture he was from, akin to the Saiyans, or perhaps it was a personal hobby of his. Strangely enough though, after that one spar in front of Kame House, the pudgy android had not seen the green alien since. Maybe he just didn’t encounter him during all those days, but those chances were slim to none. Taking into account the documentation of Bojack’s personality thus far, it was possible that he had graduated--or “kicked out”--from the Turtle Hermit’s school and was training elsewhere. Of course, that may have been an unfair judgement; including today, he had only met the towering being twice. However, like last time, the warrior was looking for a fight.

Social obligations were in order. It would be considered rude for one martial artist--if he could refer himself as such--to refuse another in terms of fighting, analogous to the sacred bond between certain animal trainers. Additionally, the last spar that they had conducted ended abruptly, so there was ample reason for the alien to want to continue unfinished business, “Good afternoon, Bojack,” Android #19 spoke in his robotic tone, remaining motionless as his would be opponent touched the ground, “Your proposal is appreciated and accepted. I believe a request for a small time interval to allow preparation is reasonable. Please standby, this will not take long.”

His internal processes started to heat up, as a barely audible hum emitted from the machine’s wide frame. A few seconds passed before #19 was operating at maximum capacity, “I am now ready to begin. Thank you for waiting. This combat simulation will begin in 3...2...1.”

#19 raised one pale finger to the right side of his head, before lightly flicking the small earring attached to the earlobe. Out of each eye, a pinkish beam of pure energy blasted forth. The two beams darted towards Bojack’s position in a straight line, and each collided with the rocky earth three inches from the alien. Two small explosions sent little puffs of dust and debris in the air. Hopefully, if all goes according to plan, visual problems and choking hazards would both become factors for his opponent to deal with.

Hold up #19, that's not the way weighted equipment works. When worn you lose +25 all stats for each piece of equipment worn. When you take them off you get that back again. So you wouldn't go 600 PL over your maximum or 300 over your max ki, etc. Since you powered up, and took off your weighted stuff, you'd just be at your maximum.

Also, you don't have to decrease your ki that way - just keep track of how much ki you've used. You've used 2%, so just put how much % of your ki you've used on your sheet somewhere. No changing of your actual ki score is supposed to happen, because... if you weren't an android you'd be using your current (or max depending) ki to determine how much stamina fatigue you took for using a tech. So, in short, change your ki back to max. Not +300, but max. Put your PL at max too.

Since you're an android, you don't have to worry about stam fatigue but it's good for you to know.

If you still don't understand, feel free to PM me.

P.S. Because Bojack mentioned it, if you want stat reports done that's fine and I shall do them. But you'll need to request them from me, otherwise if I am unsure, I will let you two simply hash out the battle's outcome between yourselves (unless I see a problem) because that is standard procedure for battles. So if you two need anything PM me, elsewise continue your battle. I am watching.

Because #19 asked about it, and because I failed to notice you guys hadn't properly added them, I told him I'd leave a note for you two here: Your equipment and fighting styles that add stats (+200 tou for saiyan boots, +100 vit for tactical, etc) does add to your pl in battle so you can factor that in. Also, as #19 rightly pointed out to me, you forgot your Basho fan strength boost Bojack it boosts your strength in battle by +150 and +2% and you add that 150 to your stat before applying the 2%.

Edit : Ah damn, I just noticed, that equipment + fighting style of #19's and Bojack's adds up to 600 also. I mistook it for the weighted equipment. Sorry guys, #19 is fine and I need some coffee. >.>;. Bojack still needs to fix his though.

OOC: Sorry it took so long, I've been super busy lately.

Bojack waited for a response from the pale android, who eventually spoke. Challenge accepted, perfect. Thought the alien, who heard the android speak of preparing. He was probably powering up, much like Bojack can, although he's an andriod, so he probably pushes a button inside of him. Nonetheless, Bojack began to pay attention as he saw two thin beams of energy land in front of him, they exploded upon impact with the ground and sent dust flying into the air.

"Haha, that's one of my usual tactics." said the alien as he closed his left eye, his right eye protected by the scouter attached to his face. Bojack wiped the brown dust off his face, keeping an eye on his opponent. The pirate knew he was quick, but he himself was too. He could see things most people couldn't, because he was used to fighting fast people.

"Now, it's my turn to power up." Bojack said as he clenched his fists, a blue aura surrounded his body as blood pumped through his veins. He could feel his muscles slightly increase in size, he felt more focused. Upon finishing his power up, the aura faded away and he appeared to look the same as before. What really grew during that short time was his will to fight, and he intended to start things off with authority.

With great speed, the hulking blue space pirate ran at the android, making two fists with his giant hands. When he was a couple feet from the machine, he jumped into the air, crouching down and then springing upwards with all his might. With gravity on his side he brought both fists together over his head, swinging them down at once to try to strike Android Nineteen on the top of his artificial skull.

Landing on the ground, he decided to be quick about it and strike right away. Putting his weight on his left leg, he quickly brought up his right knee towards the midsection of the android with great force. Bojack looked into Nineteen's eyes, with a smirk on his face, enjoying the fight. After his assault on the pale fighter, he jumped backwards to make some distance. When he landed he felt the ground quake from his power, he really felt alive, the adrenaline getting him all hyped up.

Roleplay Guide
His last attack did not achieve any ideal effects. That was of no concern. The eye beam was not a complete waste of energy. The poke at Bojack’s defenses had yielded a few nuggets of information. Judging from his nonchalant attitude, as well as that small piece of dialogue, it was likely that he was not bluffing. Utilizing such tactics in the future would be ill advised unless it was deemed absolutely necessary; otherwise, #19 could find himself playing right into the hands of his current opponent. When Bojack announced his intentions, the android silently acknowledged his request. It was only socially proper to grant the same courtesy.

With his hands hanging by his sides, the combat machine activated his internal scouter. It soon detected a gradual influx in the energy signature. The measured power level was rising. Android #19 held his head high as whatever dust left hanging in the air was blown away from the figure in front. His blue pupils, unblinking despite the bits of incoming debris, focused on the towering warrior. An increase in muscle density was detected as more and more power was accrued, as more and more blue glowed, as more and more winds picked up, sweeping across the plateau. The android’s loose clothes began to flap around haphazardly at the peak of the power up, before everything began to calm down.

#19 remained motionless as everything settled, his eyes now staring at the same Bojack standing before him. Nothing physically had noticeably changed, but the final measurement was now 11,320 within one percent uncertainty. In terms of raw ability, it appeared that there was no significant difference between the two. Whatever displacement in power level was small, and thus negligible when so many variables needed to be accounted for and considered in combat. The mean of calculations of success in this fight ended up being 50.02%. While those statistics alone did not really boost any form of confidence, Bojack was within data range--thus, he should at least be manageable.

The green alien suddenly blasted forward. It was time to begin engagements. However, instead of completing the charge, the large fighter leapt up into the air, blocking out the sun from #19’s eyes. A grim shadow fell upon Android #19’s position. With both of Bojack’s arms raising themselves high into the air, the intention was clear. The pale synthetic being below quickly scanned his opponent’s position. Bojack was vulnerable. Off balance, with both arms in the air, and his chest and neck exposed, the chances of landing a fatal blow towards the jugular veins were increased dramatically. However, such an attempt was not necessary.

#19 waited until Bojack reached the high point of the jump before darting up into the air as well. His hands outstretched, the android reached for the two gigantic fists over Bojack’s head, and caught them as they were swung downwards. His own momentum was not enough to bring the alien to a complete halt, and the net force vector in the vertical direction was still negative, assuming upwards was the positive direction. The two warriors landed on the ground with a resounding thud. The dirt cracked underneath #19 as his hands clenched their prizes with an iron grip.

His interface alerted him to Bojack’s sudden swift knee into his midsection. Although he managed to keep both feet planted on the face of the dusty plateau, the android was still pushed back. His torso bent forward so that the android’s entire body formed a right angle. His fingers released their prey, as Bojack escaped, jumping backwards to gain space. Wordlessly, #19 looked up and straightened his upper body. Damage was dealt, but it appeared that none of the vital systems were in any state of potential mechanical failure. That was good news. On the other hand, in the battle thus far, he was suffering more injuries than his opponent. If this pattern would be extrapolated into the future, then he would most definitely be defeated.

With that said, given the bigger picture, unless he would sustain severe enough damage to be shut down--and those chances would be slim to none--it was not that big of a deal. Pride was no issue for the android, and victory would not achieve much at all. The current relationship status marked for Bojack’s profile was uncertain at best; after all, they really did only meet once. The gargantuan fighter was “friendly” enough, but from current observations, it seemed like he did have a temper. There would only be trouble if #19 overdid anything and things became “personal”. But going to the other extreme and becoming a punching bag would not bode well either. His job was merely to keep Bojack occupied enough, provide him with enough of a “challenge”, until the alien decided that the thirst for battle was quenched. Attacks against certain areas, including the face, neck, knees, and privates, which would cause excessive pain to trigger negative responses would be deemed unnecessary. That was considered the best course of action given the circumstances thus far. If he would emerge victorious...well, then that’s just an added bonus.

Within a few milliseconds, Android #19 finished his thought process and turned his attention back towards the task at hand. Now, Bojack had increased the distance between him once more. It was an open invitation to begin a counteroffensive. The slight rumble as the alien stomped the plateau did not warrant any reaction from the machine. #19 narrowed his eyes. Shifting his weight on his right leg, the android sprang from his position and hurtled towards Bojack. He drew his left arm back as his fingers curled themselves into a fist with his left knee outstretched. If everything goes according to plan, his fist would draw Bojack’s attention. Right before he reached his opponent, instead of swinging his arm out in a punch, #19 lashed out with his right leg, swinging it towards the left shoulder. Immediately after, bringing his right hand to meet his left and taking advantage of his momentum, the android then attempted to smash Bojack with a sideways hammerblow aimed at the chest.

Flying down from the sky, Bojack saw the android raise his open palms as he came crashing down. Before the alien could change what he was about to do he felt his fists caught by the androids's cold grip. Upon touching his feet to the ground, hands still above his head, he felt the connection between his knee and the android's midsection. A feeling of success swept through the pirate, landing the first blow in the match.

As soon as Bojack cleared some distance between the two, he realize the android dashed in his way. A fist was held back as the android came at Bojack, his eyes focused on the potential punch thrown his way. Focusing on the fighter's actions, he made sure to watch everything very closely. As the distance between the two fighters shortened, he noticed the pale warrior not even throw the punch his way. Quickly he turned his head to see what was going on, he felt something make impact with his shoulder, a foot.

Alright, I gotta turn this around a bit. I can't stand here taking hits, thought the alien as his body was quickly consumed by a blue aura. His ki was being pushed through his body down to his feet and out, swiftly lifting him off the ground as he noticed the machine readied another attack coming his way. In the nick of time he managed to propel himself above the android, dodging the hammerblow that would have made impact on his chest area.

An idea came into Bojack's mind as he floated high above the mechanical warrior, he was going for a fake out move. He continued to fly high above the ground, his aura no longer covering his massive figure. Bojack turned himself in mid air, making him flip upside down, his head pointing towards the ground. In the air he cupped his hands, bringing them below his right shoulder.

"Kamehame-" chanted the space pirate, a blue orb of pure ki energy formed between his cupped palms. He was preparing the signature attack of the Kame house, the Kamehameha wave. Only students of Roshi had the chance to learn this powerful attack, and many couldn't learn it. With the energy focused into his hands, he shot down at Android Nineteen, his aura consuming his body once more as he increased in speed and shot down at the ground where the machine stood. He quickly closed in on his opponent, shooting downward like a meteor.

"Kidding!" yelled Bojack as he came within a foot of Nineteen, pushing his hands forward while canceling out the ki in his palms. He formed a fist and as he changed the direction of his flight by using his energy, and aimed to land a little behind his opponent. As he came in line with the back of the pale warrior he threw the power packed punch, coming with all the momentum from his speedy descent. As soon as he threw the punch he flipped his body around to put his feet below him once more. He bent his knees as he made contact with the hard stone ground below him, absorbing some of the impact that would have made him collapse had he not readied for it. Beneath his feet the ground collapsed a bit, from the sheer force of him hurtling down from the sky.

Without hesitation he took a step back and put his right arm out in front of him, focusing his energy into his outstretched hand. Blue ki formed in a sphere in front of his palm, and he soon released the energy blast at the back of the fighter in front of him. He proceeded to take a couple steps back, to allow him a chance to better defend against a quick counter attack.

Roleplay Guide
Bojack took the bait, and #19 finally landed his first hit. It was not first blood or anything, but morale was not a large factor in his performance anyways. The android allowed a smile on his otherwise expressionless face as his foot made contact with the alien’s shoulder. It seemed like everything was going according to plan. The alien should be caught off balance, and he would be able to continue his offensive with ease. His fingers tightened as they wound around each other before he proceeded with his second strike. According his calculations, as this short of a range and with surprise on his side, the probability of success was indeed high--

However, this time, it was the pale machine’s turn to be a little surprised. A flash of blue filled #19’s sensors as he swung his two fists over. As his limbs swept through Bojack’s original position, it was clear that he had missed completely. Reaching out with his internal scouter, the android turned his line of sight towards the sky, where his opponent was soaring towards. Continuing with his momentum, Android #19 continued to fly forward. Feeling out of control, he planted his feet into the ground and managed to skid to a halt, leaving a small trail in his wake. Whatever dirt or dust rising into the air as a result were quickly disposed of by another light breeze that was traveling through the mountains.

Straightening up his back, the machine maintained his stare on Bojack’s large form, who doesn’t appear to be making any attempt of continuing the battle, and instead opting to just hover there. Suddenly, movement began once more, as energy was detected and the behemoth was making a familiar stance. Despite the distance, what Bojack was doing was recognizable enough. The technique detected was “Kamehameha”, the move also used during their last spar. That attack did a decent amount of damage to his person, despite being weakened severely by #19’s actions. Would the same pattern also ensue during this battle?

The android watched Bojack came closer and closer as the attack continued to be charged up. He shifted into a defensive stance, preparing for the inevitable. The beam would fire and Android #19 would have milliseconds to react before the energy collided with his body. Preparing to let out a shout of high pitched static, what he was not expecting was for the word “kidding” to escape from Bojack’s mouth. The energy hurtled from the alien’s palms towards the pudgy machine before suddenly dispersing into thin air. What sort of a technique was this?

Perhaps he had been a little too quick to judge the space pirate purely based on his performance from last time. So far, he had demonstrated characteristics of both brute force and intellect, as he caught #19 completely off guard. A blue and green blur zipped around the synthetic warrior’s side. There was no time to turn around to visually confirm anything. He had made a tactical error, and if he did not recover quickly enough, then he’ll be in severe trouble. However, he still had his scouter, and he could still tell the general location of his opponent. Quickly dropping towards the dusty ground as he detected the energy signature approaching his location from behind, Android #19 pushed up with his hands and lifted his entire body off the ground. At the same time, both of his legs kicked out towards Bojack’s recorded position, just as the alien’s thick biceps came swinging, just barely grazing the android’s back. If the kick hit, it would have probably impacted the midsection.

Executing a front roll, #19 was in the process of getting back up just in time to see Bojack finish his own flip. An energy attack was quickly formed, and this time, it seemed that the intent was real. The glowing ball showed no signs of vanishing like the Kamehameha, and instead honed in the machine’s position. On instinct--rather, programming--the android reached his palm out, the red nodes on his hand reflecting the blue light coming this way. Almost immediately, that tactic was disapproved. Ever since that spar with Goken, there was sufficient evidence to indicate that the energy absorbing mechanics on his palms were not functioning properly. This ki blast barreling down the plateau towards him was regrettably easy pickings. What a waste.

A tiny whirling sound emitted from the inside of his left arm, as the energy absorption function was replaced with a ki cannon. His right hand grabbed his left wrist as the ki blast approached him at high speeds. Lashing out, #19 deflected the attack with his right bicep. Just as he swung his arm, the android’s right fingers clenched ever tighter on the left limb and the entire hand detached from the rest of the body, revealing the cannon, all ready to go. Immediately after Bojack’s ki blast was out of the line of fire, #19 activated the hidden weapon. A blue explosion to the side lighted the area, bathing the plateau in its cool color as a much larger, pinkish flood of energy surged towards his opponent from the stump of an arm. After the flow of energy ebbed to a trickle, the android attached his left hand back on his arm and stood up, preparing for whatever Bojack had next in mind.

It was a very tough decision, deciding who gets the RP Award, both because you're both good roleplayers and because you've both been following the rules very well. I have to say I have enjoyed reading your fight so far.

That said, I have decided the RP Award goes to Android #19 for now. Let me know if you need help applying it #19 (it's +15% all stats).

This android was pretty speedy, Bojack watched as he avoided the blow to his back, coming back with a blind kick that landed square in the chest. Luckily for Bojack, he had gigantic muscles, and this pale warrior wasn't quite strong enough to kick hard enough to break bones, it sure as hell hurt though. That was going to leave a mark later, but Bojack was determined to bring an end to this skirmish with him on top. This match was a good challenge though, both were on par with each other and was turning out to be pretty even. There had to be a way to turn the tides in the favor of the alien, he then again focused on the android, watching his defense against his energy blast.

The energy blast sent out by him was easily swatted away, no matter. It was just a test to see how the fighter would react against an energy based attack, although if he were to unleash a stronger attack that would not have happened, for damn sure. Bojack hadn't even begun to show his real speed either, his best weapon. Pure speed plus brute strength equaled a lot of pain for anyone in the way of the blue warrior.

Now it seemed Nineteen was about to prepare an attack of his own, Bojack saw him remove his arms. What the fuck is going on, thought the alien, pondering what unorthodox assault was going to be coming his way. A breeze put a chill through Bojack's spine as he saw an explosion of blue, followed up by a bright pink shot of energy coming straight his way. This thing was moving fast and there was no way to dodge it, and blocking it would hurt like fuck. He could only think of one way to slightly reduce the damage coming at him, so he opened his mouth. Then he decided against using the kiai technique, simply because this attack was closing in on him way too quickly. He then braced himself for the pain he was about to go through, the shot of energy smacked him in the chest and he was sent hurdling back at a high speed. The alien focused as much as he could, propelling him off the ground and into the air high above the battlefield below.

"Fuck, that wasn't pleasant." mumbled Bojack to himself, speaking of the blast that smacked against his chest. An idea came to his mind, he looked down at the amulet around his neck, it was infused with magical properties. A smile formed on his face as he looked at the android, now very far away. The alien leaped into the air, beginning to fly with great seed, above the pale warrior on the ground below. He flipped upside down and began a high speed dive bomb, much like a hawk. Bojack put his gigantic fist in front of him, leading the way. Wind whipped his hair straight up as he descended from the sky.

Knowing that what he was doing wasn't enough, he vanished from sight with all the speed he could muster. He really didn't disappear, but he was moving at a pace where seeing him was incredibly difficult. That coupled with the already blinding speed he was moving, he was moving incredibly fast. He changed the direction of his flight slightly, putting him at an angle, now aimed for the shoulder of Android Nineteen instead for the top of his skull, he wasn't going for a kill.

When Bojack came into plain vision again, he was a couple feet away from the white warrior, intending to plow right into his shoulder at full throttle. When he finished the dragon dive, he figured if he hit the android, he would have a tough time recovering quickly from the devastating strike. The alien dashed in, taking the perfect opportunity given to him. He ran in, sliding on the hard rock ground with his foot extended to attempt a powerful leg sweep. Hoping that his opponent would be caught at least a little off balance from the strike to his legs, the alien sprung up and curled his fingers tightly into a fist. The blue fighter let out a grunt as he threw a power packed punch aimed at Nineteen's side. Bojack was determined to win, pride and excitement filled his body, though he managed to stay as composed as possible at the same time. All he had left to do was see the defensive actions taken against his onslaught, if any.

EDIT: Forgot to add counter.

The blast made contact. With what, that was a difference story. It exploded in a vibrant glow that disappeared as quickly as it came, engulfing the larger fighter temporarily. The aftershock blew across the face of the plateau, as Android #19 finished attaching his hand back to his arm. His plump face increased elevation as he pushed off of the leg he was kneeling on. Reaching his full height, Doctor Gero’s nineteenth creation watched as Bojack’s green form shot up from the resulting mist of debris. At this range, his visual measurements may contain room for error, but there did appear to be some burn marks covering the space pirate’s chest.

Perhaps that last move was a bad choice after all. Did he cross that imaginary boundary? The android pondered for a quick second but came to the conclusion that those chances were low. Considering how the tempo of the battle escalated, and taking into account that Bojack was not afraid to use the famous Kamehameha technique--despite canceling it--surely there was no blame on his shoulders for using a concentrated energy strike? Probably a more “immature” version of the argument would be “he started it!”. Still, he didn’t want to overdo anything and cross the line; as blows will undoubtedly continue to be exchanged between the two fighters, the battle will continue to increase in ferocity until one of three circumstances, that would most likely happen, would occur: one, #19 finds himself depleted of his energy reserve or too damaged to continue to fight. Two, Bojack collapses from exhaustion or lose consciousness. Three, one of the two warriors decide to forfeit the match. As for what happens in between, with some many variables to consider, and much more that would not be, anything could occur. A slight miscalculation on either side could potentially result in unforeseen, regrettable consequences. This fight must end, and soon, before someone loses control.

Shards and scattered pieces of rock and pebble made their presence heard when they collided with the ground. The irregular beatings echoed in the mountains, as #19 reflected, “However, this certainly was a good area to meet Bojack,” he thought, watching the alien hover in the air, “All of these explosions and loud sounds have not caused any phenomenon akin to mudslides and avalanches in the vicinity. Whether his choice to pick this spot because of that reason remains unclear, but...this is a happy coincidence, if nothing more.”

Suddenly, his opponent began the next onslaught with a devastating technique. As soon as Bojack’s descent became so fast until he disappeared from view, #19 recognized what was going to happen next. Last time, Bojack sent a fist crashing into his head, and dealt a tremendous amount of damage during the quick fight. He had no way of preventing it from landing At this rate, he had no chance of escaping the blow, that is for certain. The only way out was to meet it head on.

#19 reached out with his hands. As soon as Bojack’s fist made contact with his left palm, the android’s elbow began to bend as he eased the incoming attack the best he could. It did not significantly reduce much from the force, but every little bit counted for something. At the same time, reinforcements consisting on his other hand aided the barricade. An instant later, and the android found himself pushing against the much larger warrior. While the potential damage was reduced by some amount--there was no time to do specific calculations--but more alerts continued to pop up as proof that his physical condition had deteriorated further.

Additionally, the speed that the alien was going at did make a difference. Since it was not a completely elastic collision, some kinetic energy was thankfully not transferred from Bojack to #19. However, judging from the fighter’s much larger frame and the incredible speed, that alone was evidence that Bojack’s momentum was quite significant indeed. As he continued to be pushed back, the amount of momentum transferred to the android quickly threw him off balance. Android #19 found himself easily lifted off the ground, and due to the force being applied around his left arm, he was making a slow revolution in the counterclockwise direction as he hurtled away.

In an attempt to right himself up, the combat droid swung his right palm down, hitting the solid rock below with a dull thud. Before he was able to fully recover, a large boot entered his vision, and knocked his arm away like a bowling ball smashing through pins. His legs sailed harmlessly over Bojack’s head as what little balance he had was thrown for a loop. Gravity did the rest of the work and the overweight synthetic being’s front slammed onto the floor. Pushing himself up quickly, the rate his arms moving began to noticeably increase. Visually, it seemed that two more limbs manifested out of his back. Bojack had finished leaping up at the same time, and was aiming another fist towards him.

His fingers closed around Bojack’s fist again as he sent a knee up, aiming for the solar plexus, the area located in the abdomen. If all goes well, then there was a high chance that the alien would “get the wind knocked out of him”, as the expression went. In an attempt to ensure success, #19 sent a hammerblow towards the green alien’s back, so that he would be driven into the knee more. The android then swung his head forward, his forehead directed towards the right shoulder to force Bojack back before swinging his arms two more times at lower region of the abdomen. Finally, he leapt up and finished with a swift kick at the same area. Landing back down, Android #19 crouched down, just in case things did not go as smoothly as he wanted.

Before Bojack hit the android at full speed with his Dragon Dive, his opponent put up a makeshift defense to try and avoid taking all the potential damage. Bojack knew the pale warrior couldn't keep on blocking attacks, for it would eventually wear down his mechanical body. Something would have to give, and Bojack was determined to figure out a weakness to these robots. He had yet to encounter an android with an obvious flaw, he knew it would be hard to do.

Then Bojack felt his foot hit Nineteen, success. When he sprang up to punch Android Nineteen, he realized that the machine had two extra arms. What the fuck is going on, thought Bojack as he threw the punch, which was easily caught by one of the four arms. Then he watched as a knee was sent flying in his direction, hitting him right in the gut and Bojack coughed as he felt all the air in his body leave at once.

Breathing was difficult for a second, and he couldn't even react to the hammerblow on his back that sent him into the ground. As his body struck the rock ground he bounced up a bit, and looked up, the android was swinging his head forward like a headbutt. Bojack wondered what was going on, because he was on the ground, and this guy was swinging at air. That was a weird tactic, maybe androids calculate everything too much, and assumed that Bojack would be standing after a strike to the back. Whatever, it worked out for the blue alien.

Bojack slowly got up, first picking himself up with his arms. After taking a deep breath he pushed off the ground, rising to his feet. Burn marks charred his skin, leaving dark brown marks. Bruises covered a couple areas, mostly on his upper body. He could feel some slight pain, for he had definitely taken some damage. Nothing too serious though, it was bearable. Now he had to focus on his counter attack, he had kept Nineteen waiting too long.

Bojack wiped some dust off his face, swatting it away with the back of his hand. After spitting out some bloody saliva, he looked straight into the eyes of Android Nineteen. Now a plan of action was needed, he remembered the white machine screaming at his Kamehameha, weakening it somehow. Clearly that would have to be saved for later, he wasn't about to waste precious energy on an easily defended attack. As far as powerful attacks went, his Dragon dive definitely was one of them. No way would screaming weaken that, that just didn't make sense. I'll give it another go, let's see what happens. Thought the pirate as he jumped high into the air, taking flight and slowly backing away from his opponent. He wanted to come in at an angle again, to make the attack less lethal.

So the alien began to quickly fly in, with one hand out in front of his body. As a distraction, he quickly formed a blue orb of ki at his palm. He fired it off, while following the blast. When he saw the blast closing in on Nineteen, he decided it was time to disappear again. Bojack clenched a tight fist, then again moved as fast as his body would allow him to, nearly teleporting within a meter of the pale fighter. With gravity, plus his velocity and mass, he should be able to plow over the Android if he was caught off guard. All he needed was solid contact, that was his goal.

Just making a note in here: Bukujutsu + Energy Wave is 2.1%, not 2.2. Also, Bojack is now dangerously close to running out of stamina due to ki usage. Additionally, his practical power level from ki usage and damage fatigue has reduced his PL to less than 8K. You don't have to change your stats, Bojack,I am just posting this note so both of you know that attack won't be nearly as powerful as it was the first time it was used (Dragon Dive).

Addendum: Since Bojack asked me about it, here is a very general summary of the situation without getting into the detail of the maths: #19 has about a 28% advantage in PL, and Bojack is going to have to watch ki expenditure because he's roughly halfway out (I hadn't accounted for KM1 when I said he was nearly out). So it's still winnable by either side, but Bojack is going to have to play it smart from here on.

Did that last attack damage him more than what was originally anticipated? The extrapolated damage and long term effects should only have been concentrated on the arms during that last attack. Even if one would take a step back further, his visual sensors should have detected the change in Bojack’s position. He was swinging at empty air! How did he not notice that? Such an error would result in devastating results if he was in a struggle of life and death. That was just pure sloppiness, and no excuse could remedy that. A major factor identified was the assumption that Bojack would be slammed back into his knee, and that alone would maintain the alien’s upright position. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, as a somewhat embarrassing display ensued.

His arms began to slow down, and the two arms protruding from his back quickly vanished into nothing, like his opponent’s Kamehameha cancellation. He looked down at Bojack, lying on the ground and struggling to get up. Android #19 considered suggesting bringing this battle to an end, but decided that this would not be the best time to bring that topic up. If the alien wanted to continue to battle, then the machine was willing to accompany him for a while longer. Still, the objective remained: this fight must end soon. The pale robot and Bojack exchanged glances briefly, and it was apparently understood that the battle must go on.

The alien soon launched himself back into the air, yet another time. Did the space pirate prefer aerial combat? #19 made a note of this in the relevant profile in his memory files as he continued to watch Bojack continue his ascent. Now his opponent was becoming predictable. Was he going to attempt the dive once more, or prepare another Kamehameha? #19 received his answer shortly as Bojack disappeared once more from vision. Immediately, the android pondered his next course of action. Was it better to just let Bojack hit him and forfeit the match or perhaps he should continue fighting? His chances of victory was still relatively good, and if he was defeated now, it certainly would be a rather anticlimactic ending.

Right now, if his strategy was to obtain victory in this match, then the easiest way to achieve this objective was to utilize the vast amount of energy he had left in his reserves. Endurance was not an issue for him; what was important was that he avoid any more significant damage, a method that could greatly affect his combat performance. Finishing that line of thought, the android returned to the task at hand. Trying to follow Bojack’s flight with his eyes--though how little effective that was--a sudden pulse of energy alerted him to the direction his opponent was approaching. Another ki blast? Another chance that he could not take advantage of. He could meet the blast head on, but he could not afford to grant Bojack any more hits; judging from last dive, he was to expect some more heavy damage heading his way.

Android #19 blurred in and out of sight, leaping over that energy blast just before it turned the ground. As another small crater dotted the face of the plateau, the android used the aftershock of the explosion to propel himself forward. Like last time, even if he did accelerate to his full capacity, Bojack’s dive was too swift; there was no way of avoiding it. Instead of passively waiting for the blow to strike, it’s time to bring the fight to him. This time, he crossed his two arms into the shape of a “X” in front of his chest, with his right arm on top. More direct injuries to his left limb would only prove more disadvantageous compared to diverting more pressure on the other. Even if he couldn’t vision follow the alien’s movements very clearly, his scouter was still giving him up to date information on the location of Bojack’s energy signature. While this method was not as effective as visual information, it was the best defense he has. When Bojack suddenly reappeared a meter directly in front of him, the android knew that his calculations were correct.

He shot against the alien’s, and as Bojack’s massive fist slammed right into his arms at the center of the "X", the android was subsequently pushed backwards as a result. The two moving as one for a brief moment, #19 quickly consulted his internal map. Calculating his current velocity vector and position, he was able to predict the exact spot where they would land, and at what angle. Before long, the two crashed down on the ground, with Android #19 looked slightly more worse for wear. The solid surface beneath cracked underneath the impact, as another messy crater was created. Struggling at keeping the meaty, green fist at bay, the machine noticed something: Bojack was becoming weaker and weaker. This last attack did not induce the same level of damage towards him, assuming that the last damage report was accurate. Still, the diving punch was not to be taken lightly, as #19 certainly did not emerge completely unscathed.

Now, it was time his own response. The dull humming sounding from inside his body increased in intensity as the overweight machine began his own ascent. Jumping up into the air, with his arms raised, #19 used a front flip to maneuver to the green skinned humanoid’s back. Hanging upside down for a brief moment, he brought both of his palms forward, as an invisible blast was sent forth aimed at Bojack’s back. All this time, the space pirate has been taking advantage of the speed difference between the two. That speed shall be put to the test here. If everything goes well, then he should expect to see his opponent’s front slam into the solid ground of the plateau below.

As the alien flew at the android, he saw him vanish such as Bojack could, the blast hitting the ground with a small explosion. When Nineteen was visible again, he was in nearly the same place, either sidestepping or jumping over the blast sent his way. No matter, the blast was simply a distraction. His dive was coming at full speed, and it seemed his opponent wasn't going to budge. All he managed to do was bring his arms up, crossing one over the other, to block the dive. Smart tactic, smart indeed. Bojack expected no less from the android, he was a good fighter and knew what he was doing.

Nothing but a smirk came upon Bojack's face as he made contact with the mechanical arms of Android Nineteen, he must have been feeling some sort of pain. If he could feel it, that is. The blue warrior had fought quite a few times in the past with these bionic fighters, but much of them was still a mystery to him. This fight was a learn as you go experience, and it would benefit him a lot in the future.

After the dive, Bojack landed on the ground, planting his feet firmly to keep good balance. His opponent decided to leap above him, going towards the backside of the blue fighter. Ohh no you don't, he nearly screamed in his mind, turning around to see the pale android put out both hands in front of him. Extended arms were a good sign of a ki based attack coming, Bojack knew that for sure. He wasn't about to take any chances. Bojack opened his mouth, releasing a roar from deep within his lungs, sending out a shockwave of sound that would dissipate most ki attacks. After a moment of not feeling anything strike him, he realized he had succeeded in nullifying any attack against him for the moment.

Now it was time for Bojack to strike back. Tired, but not beaten, he faced the bionic fighter. Bruises and burns covered his body, coming from various attacks thrown his way. This would be a fight to remember, for damn sure. Nineteen had earned his respect, he was without a doubt a formidable foe. A wind blew, his orange hair waved a bit. Bojack had to try and bring this to an end soon, he was a little fatigued, and his opponent showed no signs of being tried, at all. The odds may be against him, but he didn't care a bit. Pride and determination kept him going, he nearly ignored the pain that he felt throughout his body. Pain is temporary, but quitting lasts forever. Therefore he couldn't back down, not until he was no longer able to fight.

That being said, he ran in at the Android, making two large blue fists. With all the strength he could muster, he threw a punch aimed for the chin. Everyone knew a punch to the chin hurts like a bitch, including Bojack. Nearly instantly after that, he really up close to the android, obvious physical attacking range. He hoped to exchange punches with Nineteen, keeping his ki usage to a minimum.

It seemed like his opponent also understood the concept of increasing the amplitude of sound waves to render ki attacks useless; given the machine’s rudimentary understanding of the physics behind ki, it certainly was not intuitive. There were some experiments that were conducted in the past. Like electrons in the atomic spectra only absorbing certain discrete amount of energy, the kiai technique was only effective against relatively powerful ki attacks. Energy moves that were lacking in strength or had too much power would not be affected. However, as in why ki would react this way towards certain volumes was unclear. He would need to gather more intelligence on the theory behind all of this, the same notion that served as the basis for his own design.

Thus, there did not appear to be any effective method to counter what the alien did. The deafening roar that seeped through Bojack’s lips shook Android #19 down to his very core. His audio sensors picked up increasing measurements of decibels, as the mighty shout continued to be bellowed from the green humanoid’s throat. Losing his own sense of balance in midair due to the severe vibrations induced by the sound waves, the pale machine readjusted accordingly, landing on the rocky floor with a dull thud. His hands that were originally outstretched continued to maintain that posture before they were slowly lowered back down into a generic fighting stance. Visually, it would be difficult to detect how the synthetic’s attack reacted against the intense pressure, but from the resulting consequences, there was no doubt that it was rendered ineffective. Still, he managed to collect some data. His internal scouter was able to continue to keep track of the energy signature on the attack before, during, and after it disappeared for good. Preliminary analysis dictated that the ki blast behaved just like any other concentration of power with a similar magnitude. The dispersion patterns appeared to be consistent with how the Kamehameha was weakened during their last spar.

Thus, it was not a total loss. #19 still had plenty of ki remaining in his reserves, and he had received some considerable knowledge. In terms of practicality--in particular, how it would affect this battle--the gains were unfortunately minimal. To force the line of logic, it may be expected that Bojack would sound slightly hoarse for a short period of time, depending his vocal cords. The android would not know. He had little data on organics utilizing that concept--in fact, this was probably to first time he had ever had the technique directed towards him. Regardless, there was one detail that was left on the overweight robot’s mind.

That blast was supposed to be invisible! Bojack was not supposed to detect it. Various trials had shown that even his own visual sensors could not predict the flight path of the technique. Did his opponent possess some form of technology or intelligence that he was not aware of? Or was it an error committed on his part? With such a short time span and limited data, it would be difficult to produce an accurate, reasonable conclusion. The current hypothesis that Android #19 would need to assume would be that the mistake was his own. Modifying his own behavior was certainly simpler than basing reasoning off of a wild guess--for all intents and purposes, despite the possibility of that existing, there was no shred of evidence to support that claim. The kiaiho technique could be fired with both the hands and the eyes. If he would attempt again, then he would have to hope that two details were true: one, Bojack could not effectively defend against the same technique under different circumstances. Two, his opponent would not be expecting a similar attack so soon after the first one had failed, and launching the move from the eyes would increase the element of surprise.

A sudden movement from Bojack returned the android’s attention. The space pirate was charging forward at immense speed. Without time to react, all Android #19 saw was a flash of green before a massive fist collided with his jaw. He was being careless now. Under normal circumstances, the machine should have at least reacted accordingly and attempted a block; did that last dive really damage his sensors that much? First, he was throwing and kick at empty air, and now he was caught off guard. He was caught off guard. How was that possible?

Instead of continuing the assault, it appeared that Bojack was focused on closing what little distance was left between him and the android. As #19 stumbled backwards from that last blow, with a new damage report filed away in his logs, he was able to gather that much from the visual sensors. Should he allow Bojack to achieve this objective, then no doubt the two would be interlocked in a brutal brawl. Chances of continuous use of ki attacks would not be recommended, as residual damage and less opportunity were cited as potential reasons. In his current state, he might have an advantage. However, Bojack’s agility was clearly superior. While the machine could still block blows effectively, his opponent could dodge them just as easily even in his current state, and sustain absolutely no damage at all. Additionally, adrenaline may allow him to get a “second wind”, as it was referred as. Should that occur, then the tables would most definitely turn, and Android #19 would most certainly be at a clear disadvantage. This cannot be allowed to happen, unless it was clear that the alien was exhausted enough.

Instead of righting himself up, the Red Ribbon model followed the momentum from the last punch and continued to fall backwards as Bojack approached his position. This move should be unexpected and throw him off. Meanwhile, the mechanical warrior’s two ice blue pupils turned their gaze on the stampeding figure in front of them and shot off another invisible blast, this time aiming at Bojack’s chest. Whether or not this attack would succeed, he would be able to gain more data to make better conclusions for the remainder of the fight.

It's that time again. I am once more required to judge your RP and adherence to the battle system and hand out the RP award to someone.

...

And despite enjoying both of your RPs, considerably, when all factors are considered I have to give #19 a slight edge in both areas. So, once again, the RP Award goes to #19. You don't re-apply it, of course, it just stays factored in.

Carry on.

Bojack watched as his fist smashed into the chin of the pale android, success. He knew that he still had a chance in this fight, and he intended to come out the winner. Then he realized that the machine backed up, away from the "up close and personal" sort of distance. It seemed that Nineteen was going to take advantage of his ki attacks once more, that was the only possible reason why he wouldn't try to actually punch the pirate anymore.

Looking down at the android rolling away, he soon felt a invisible force blow him back a couple feet, hitting him like a rock. His chest was sore, the blast smacked right against his skin, leaving some more dark bruised spots. Looking down, Bojack rubbed his blue chest a bit, a little blood came off onto his massive paws. Tricky little android, using those attacks I can't see. Whatever, I'll land a good shot in his head and try and finish this quick. Before he could continue his thought process, he heard his scouter beep, alerting him of an incoming message.

"Bojack, come to the lookout at once. I must speak to you, I'll give you ten minutes to get back here." said a recording of Kami's voice, he must have called Bojack on his scouter. The blue warrior didn't even know scouters could be used like that, but it was a nifty feature. He hated to do it, but he had to leave the fight now.

"Nineteen, I have to cut this short. I have other matters to attend to right now. I hope to fight you again," Bojack said as he reached to his back for the mystical Bansho Fan, swallowing his pride at the same time. With a snap of his wrists, he unfolded the fan. It was gigantic, truly huge. With both hands he slowly raised it above his head, looking quite silly. He vanished into thin air, moving so fast he couldn't even be seen. Bojack reappeared behind Android Nineteen, and pushed down with all his might. The fan pushed out an enormous amount of air, infused with its magic properties, and let loose a powerful gust of wind that would render his opponent immobile for a short time.

"We will finish this later," said Bojack as his aura consumed his body and he shot off into the sky with all his speed, flying off towards the lookout. One day he would finish what he started here, and he would win. Until then, his master came first.

Roleplay Guide
Android #19 maneuvered from his prone position on the ground, leaping up onto his feet. The distance had been established quite well, and prepared for whatever offensive Bojack had next in mind. What the android did not expect was for the scouter to beep, with a swift farewell from the alien as well as a parting gift.

The gusts of wind swirled around his body akin to the motion of a tornado. The android found himself unable to even budge the slightest inch. He could only watch as Bojack flew up and away into the distance. Little by little, the small whirling mess left by the fan began to slowly abate, as the forces holding him in place became weaker. By the time #19 was fully free, his opponent was already long gone. What little altitude he had been held to quickly diminished as he dropped lightly back down. Surveying the wreckage of the plateau, the android conducted a quick internal review.

He had gathered a great deal of intelligence from this battle. As for why Bojack had suddenly decided to leave was anyone’s guess, but based on his behavior before and after the beeping emitted from his scouter, it was very likely that whatever tasks or obligations that he was responsible for were produced at last minute, and was quite unexpected indeed.

As for why Bojack had went through the extra mile to use that strange fan of his...there could be some explanations. Frustrations at the sudden abruptness of his leaving could be a major factor, and some venting was to be done. Or perhaps the alien believed that the android would not desist and continue the battle. One flap of the massive fan did ensnare #19 for a significant amount of time--in fact, it may have been enough for Bojack to turn the tides of the battle had he used it. Maybe that was supposed to be his next step.

Regardless, he had completed his objective. The geographical data in this region has essentially been updated, and the battle with Bojack had concluded as well. He had a small time interval to rest and repair. The time for the trip to Namek was growing near. Mimicking the space pirate, #19 took a running start before flying off into the distance, albeit in a completely different direction.
