Goken's computer had been acting all weird for a while, but it still performed its usual tasks with great efficiency. Right now, the white-haired android was about to run a battle simulation. The roster of opponents was not so limited, for there was enough data to run a fight with almost every opponent Goken had fought so far. That said, the selected combatant was Android #19. Goken had a bit more data on him than most of the others, so it would make a better challenge. The setting for the virtual match was a plain white room, pretty huge but, as there was nothing in it, it ended up looking a bit dull. IT would suffice, so Goken made no other arrangements. In his mind, he switched his gear as he did for every match, and awaited until the virtual body of #19 was fully composed. That version of #19 would behave, react and fight the very same way the real one would, because mostly it was the real one, with the small detail it was all inside the computer's memory. Perhaps a thing or two, specially about the present, would be missing, but in the end it was Android #19. “Well, it has been a long while, huh?” Goken said, as he would if he was before the real one. In any case, a sudden warning sounded. “INCOMING DATA” Goken had not idea of what that meant, but suddenly he realized he was receiving a live feed from #19 himself. Perhaps using some kind of androidic-tech or something. As he was facing the real deal now, he repeated himself. “Well, it has been a long while, huh?” That said, Goken entered battle mode and fired a light optic Blast, removing his glasses just for a second and putting them back again afterwards. Interesting. #19’s A.I. probed through all forms of wireless systems. Most were heavily encrypted, and took some effort to break into if he really wanted to enter. Fortunately, those actions were nowhere near the goals that the android had wanted to achieve. The only thing that he was after was merely the experience of wireless connection. That was when he stumbled upon a rather familiar system. It appeared that Goken was conducting a battle simulation of his own; coincidentally enough, it was against #19. There has been very little communication between the two ever since Goken had left Earth, so this may be a way to catch up. Deciding the transmit himself into the virtual realm, the real android established his own avatar. “It certainly has,” the machine stated in response to Goken’s greeting as the spar began. The first technique that was utilized was two ki beams shot from the eyes, a move that Goken had claimed to had copied from the Red Ribbon model since they first met. It was fitting. And quick. #19 had only enough time to raise his arms up in defense as the attack made contact, erupting against the surface of his digital skin. The white haired cyborg had made significant progress in terms of raw combat ability---the damage dealt was admittedly much more than what he could do. He would have to be careful not to let that fact be evident. The reason was not for any form of pride, but the basis of their continued association was that the other machine highly respected “tough guys”. To show significant physical weakness would be to potentially jeopardize this current relationship, assuming that Goken still greatly valued that statement uttered weeks back. Wordlessly, #19’s own eyes widened. The smoke that was beginning to clear after the attack suddenly dissipated as an invisible blast shot out towards his sparring partner. Then after leaping up into the air, the android sent two quick jabs and a sideways hammerblow towards Goken’s midsection. ----- Take Action 3 Actions 1. Kiaiho (-3%) 2. Two Quick Attacks (Jab) 3. After the Optic Blast impacted against #19, Goken was feeling satisfied. At the very least, he was able to surprise him with the technique. But after the smoke faded, it was #19's turn to deliver surprises. Goken watched him, and suddenly felt a mighty push. The white-haired android tried to fight it off, resisting against the invisible force for a brief moment, only to be overwhelmed and thrown back as a leaf was carried away by the strong gust. It was a pretty impressive technique, one that perhaps Goken should learn too... but that was neither here nor there. The cyborg was forced back to the fight by the sudden impact of two quick punches. Each one was fast and more precise than before, and Goken was not precisely in the best shape to block them or resist them. Finally, a stronger blow landed on his torso, making him lose the little balance he had left and getting him on the ground. “That's a neat trick... I missed this kind of things, man.” After saying that, Goken got back up with ease. He was feeling really energized now. And, without waiting for anything else to happen, he went forward and attacked #19. Still more of a brawler than anything, Goken decided to use physical attacks now. First step, he jumped a bit to get his feet at the right height and tried to kick #19's head or shoulders. Not wanting to miss the momentum, he continued his turn and then launched his elbow at the same section. It was not precisely surprising, but at this point the half-android hooligan was relying on sheer speed. Finally, he decided to use one of his signature moves: the Burning Fist. HE charged it half way up and attempted to punch #19 on the chest with an straight movement. Right now, Goken was not thinking of anything; he had not trained hard since his fight against Kularian. And then, Shiruva... the android stopped himself. He didn't wanted to think about that... ACTIONS: 1- Special Attack (Kick) 2- Special Attack (Elbow) 3- Blast Punch (-2% Ki) Words: 338 Goken: 644 |

It appeared that his own combat skills were still high enough to be competitive with his peers. Goken was certainly not one to “hold back” during combat, whether it was a mere training simulation or an actual life or death situation. The fact that the tanned android was unable to defend properly against the initial invisible blast was proof enough of his own abilities, based on that previous assumption. Goken was tumbling backwards, and this would be an ideal chance to perform an assault while he was off balance. Accelerating, #19 stepped off his right leg and pushed himself up and forward, rushing towards his sparring partner. Gaining both height and momentum, the overweight robot clenched his balled fists tightly, aiming to close the distance between the two as quickly as possible. Upon reaching Goken, he swung twice towards the other android, once with his left, and once with his right. Both made visible contact, striking against the other pixelated figure at high speeds. Stopping at this point would be unwise, and would not provide too much benefit for his position during the spar. Instead, the android shifted his direction, opting to fly to the side of Goken rather than staying on course, which would involve a head on collision. His right hand covering his left, Android #19 swung both arms back this time as he began to make his pass. At the right moment, he attacked again in a sideways hammerblow, smashing into the torso of the cyborg. Goken had crashed into the ground just as he landed as well, but was up on his feet within seconds. It appeared that the Red Ribbon model had impressed him after all, as Goken tossed up a quick reminiscence of the days back on the Earth before continuing the spar, “Your combat capabilities clearly surpass your last performance,” Android #19 stated, returning the compliment as a sociable individual should. No sooner had the words left his mouth, the flabby cheeks of the white skinned synthetic was violently jostled when Goken’s roundhouse connected with the side of his head. The force rippled through the virtual skin, and instead of merely being caught off balance, the impact sent #19’s wide frame flying. As soon as his feet left the floor of the arena, an elbow swung out of nowhere and slammed into his chin. This only served to increase whatever momentum he had gained, and the synthetic continued to fly backwards. During his flight, a sudden blaze of ki was detected by his internal scouter, and was calculated to be heading towards him at high speeds. At this angle, his visual sensors could not see what attack was coming, but the chances of a ki attack was high. A tremendous punch smashing into his vest proved #19’s initial hypothesis wrong, with Goken’s fist burying itself deep into the synthetic armor that protected the machine’s vital components. That final attack sent him spiraling down towards the ground, and the android’s entire body wordlessly landed with a resounding thud, slightly shaking the expansive white painted room. Skidding to a halt, Android #19 immediately began to pick himself up, as the last few attacks made noticeable marks on the avatar. Whatever program that Goken was running, it certainly did register the blows in a believable manner. He looked up. Goken did not show any indications of slowing down. Forcing his processes to work overdrive, Android #19’s form blurred out of sight, and out of line of fire from the other synthetic’s rampage. Appearing slightly behind Goken, but regardless overhead, the upside down android swung down, aiming to slam both fists against the back of the skull. Executing a flip in midair, the pudgy machine landed on the ground, making a defensive combat stance as he began dialogue again, “I have not heard from you since you left Earth. I believe you headed towards Planet Vegeta? Where is your current location right now, Goken? Has any event of notable interest occur in your presence recently?” ----- Actions 1. Android #19 was not the kind of fellow that went down easily. Still, Goken had not foreseen the possibility of such an efficient counter-attack. When the android teleported himself, Goken was not able to react on time, and received the hit. It was a nice blow... the kind of hit that would stagger a lesser fighter. In any case, the android began talking. Talking was nice too. “Well, yeah... I'm on Vegeta right now... Messy place. Everyone here seems to believe that they're the only true warriors in the world. I'm getting a hang off it, but I'm not sure anything too good is coming my way right now. Where are you now, pal? Still on Earth, with Roshi? Or perhaps you too have been looking for that extra edge?” Goken listened to his partner's reply. But something was a little off. Not with the signal that kept them communicated, but something outside. Goken ignored it for a bit. “If you happen to find something interesting, let me now... I'll be glad to hear from you, mate.” Again, something was distracting the android. And this time the call was stronger. Gaza's telepathic voice sounded inside Goken's mind. Something important was going on outside, and it was time to check it out. “I'm afraid my presence is required now, #19. I'll catch you later, okay. Keep up the hard work.” That said, Goken's link broke and he was awake. He was a little sorry to cut off #19 so fast, but Gaza was not a man, if such thing could correctly apply to an alien, that only interrupted if something was important. So, this very likely was.
