No rest for the wicked.

The raven-haired Regent walked silently through the deserted village, each foot step light as he moved gracefully along the blue grass. With a ghost of a smile the man’s gaze lifted to the twin suns high in the cloudless sky. A passing breeze disheveled his black locks and ruffled his clothes. His right hand rested casually in his pants pocket while his left casually swung it’s contents around. Cold drops of purple patted intermittently on the grass as he walked and formed a trail in his wake. The Regent eyed the treasure he had procured just minutes ago, the head of this village’s elder; he played with it as if it were an ordinary ball. Getting information about the fabled Dragon Balls proved to be quite the task much to his surprise and annoyance.

His mind wandered as his lungs took in another full breath of fresh Namekian air. There was definitely something beautiful about the planet. It was just a shame that the locals were less than hospitable to foreigners, at least in his experience. He soon snapped to attention though as something perked his senses.

Chaos came to a stop for a moment which allowed the purple gore to pool besides his feet as it continue to drain from the poor Namekian’s skull. His crimson gaze was cast off in the distance to another presence approaching him. A flash of misunderstanding crossed his features as being came fully into range of his senses. Could it really be him and how could he be on Namek now? This could be quite interesting if his ability to sense Ki was sharp, as it always was. His brows furrowed as he tried to understand exactly what the appearance of this familiar face could mean, but there was something different about this being now. Perhaps it was somebody else? His senses had never failed before, but hell, there’s a first time for everything. And this power, it seemed a fraction of what Chaos recalled. What could it mean?

Whatever the case, there was no denying the presence heading his direction was the largest he had felt on Namek besides the other Cosmic Lords. He loosened his hold on the antennae, letting the elder Namekian’s head drop to the dirt with a hollow thud. His gaze traced the graying flesh with a bored look. Why was everything always so complicated these days? An annoyed sigh left his pale lips, his decision made then and there to not take any chances.

An instant later the entire village around him went up in a black and indigo fire, the pigment of the Ki of the Cosmic Regent. The black flame stretched high into the peaceful sky, the shape of a screaming skull stretching to the peak of his aura. The planet shook madly as a wave of heat and dust erupted outwards from his location as if a bomb had detonated where he stood. Shockwave after shockwave pounded the quiet surroundings with Chaos standing simply smiling under his mess of black hair. The air itself became heavy and sparks of electricity tore through the atmosphere, the molecules of his Ki itself grinding against his surroundings.

The rumbles subsided, the flame shrunk and even dissipated, and Chaos stood fully erect and menacing in the direction of his guest.

Where have you been, Cold?

Cold cast his eyes about the planet Namek, taking in everything about it as his eyes and his scouter explored the landscape. From the twin suns beating down from the green upon the backs of the green-skinned Namekian famers, to the green oceans and seas, everything had taken upon it a sickly shade of green; the colour of jealous. Perhaps that was the explanation; the Namekian were jealous that they were so dreadfully bad at everything and it was reflected in their chosen habitat. How Cold hated the colour, green! It was anathema to everything that he had grown up with, yet these green planets seemed to fetch the highest prices. Being the businessman that he was, Cold gave his customers what they wanted, but he couldn’t understand their infatuation with these worlds.

Indeed, the best part about this planet was the unique way that the Namekians died. They were all so angry about foreigners invading their planet and playing with their balls that they liked to grunt and squeal and strain their ridiculous pink muscles to no avail while the Lords of the Planet Trade Organisation and the Cosmic Empire slaughtered them by the dozen. Even now, Cold could feel the presence of several Namekians winking out of existence as they were slowly drained of their life by … could it be? The presence of Cold’s former second in command was unmistakeable. So Chaos was after the Dragon Balls.

It irked him considerably that Chaos had the time to blunder around on Namek without a thought to what the stupid monkey, Koga Iblis had done to him. A flicker of recognition resonated through Chaos’ qi, which immediately began to rise. Wave after wave of energy rolled off the hybrid, eliminating what was once a Namekian village full of slaughtered natives. Almost as quickly as the power up had begun, it was over and his former friend’s power stabilised. He appeared to be waiting for Cold to arrive.

And wait he would. Cold, King of the Planet Cold and Lord of the Planet Trade Organisation didn’t operate by the schedules of the masses. Though as his scouter finally finished counting upwards, Cold had to admit that Chaos was by no means one of the masses. More powerful than even he had been before Iblis stabbed him in the back, Chaos had truly assumed his mantle. As though shot from a gun, Cold suddenly burst forth in a leap that carried him to where his former minion stood waiting.

“I like what you’ve done with the place,” Cold said, his voice measured as he tactfully ignored Chaos’ question initially, “you mean you noticed my absence? How sporting of you. I was sent to the dead zone by a white haired ape and I had to escape by eating the soul of another ape. It’s quite nice, actually … tastes like chicken.”

Cold allowed a few moments of silence, wondering if Chaos would make the move that both knew was coming.

“But enough with the pleasantries. Your power has grown since I last saw you; let us see if you are truly worthy of taking my place as Cosmic King!”

A simple thought activated Cold’s helmet; it snapped shut over his face in the same manner as his son’s final transformation. The presence of the mask made his voice sound different and gave an echoing quality to his breathing. Cold closed the gap between the two quickly and launched himself into the air, sailing over the Cosmic Regent as he swung a punch towards the back of his head. In the same movement, Cold swung his tail down between his legs in an attempted to smack the hybrid across the face with it.

It had been so long since he last fought someone properly and Cold found his blood flowing with renewed energy as he landed behind Chaos. He threw his hands out, powering up to his maximum in a brilliant display of qi that was a deep purple colour at its core and lightened to an electric pink at the outer with strikes of pink lightning arcing between Cold’s body and the few landmarks that Chaos’ display had left intact.

Cold stepped in close once more, spinning on his right foot to aim a straight left kick at his opponent’s head. He continued the spin in order to right himself again and launched his next attack. It was a head butt that aimed to use one of his horns to gore Chaos in his left pectoral.

The Cosmic Emperor
Roleplay Guide
Heavy is the head.

He was honestly at a total loss for words in the face of the former Cosmic Emperor. Something just didn’t add up; could he have been so blind? In his younger, more brash days in Universal Terror it may have been possible that he would miss the Emperor being cast away into another dimension but the likelihood of that scenario playing out even back then seemed impossibly slim. All he could do was nod at the man who had once saved him from a life of imprisonment himself, his mouth suddenly too dry to form words. His crimson gaze remained steady as his mind ran over a million different thoughts at once. He probed the changeling’s mind for but an instant, almost instantly confirming what Cold said to be true; or, at least, Cold believed it to be true. His eyes closed and he hung his head while exhaling, waiting for Cold’s initial assault.

Tendrils of his telepathic abilities touched the king of Changeling’s mind, playing his planned assault before the Regent’s mind’s eye like a movie. Breathe in. He became aware of Cold’s energy above and behind him and gracefully he ducked beneath the boulder like fist as it came in. Breathe out. He dashed off to his right side just as the former Emperor’s tail crashed into his previous location sending a shower of rocks into the air. The lightning fast exchange of preliminary blows came and went in a single breath. The Cosmic Regent spun on his heel to face the one thing he had hoped never to raise his hand too; a Lord of the Cosmic Empire.

Cold’s brilliant display of power reflected in Chaos’ ruby stare and all though the release was far from what he recalled from the Changeling, it was nothing to scoff at. He had no time to waste appreciating the display though as the ruthless King Cold wasted not a second launching himself into another attack. His vision blurred in his right eye and static momentarily flickered in front of his left as the powerful kick slammed into the side of his skull dislodging some loose spittle. A dark growl escaped his throat and his massive sword was freed from its resting place at his back in a blur of expert movement; not even a sound came from the blade as it flickered out of the massive sheath.

By the time he had regained his composure and freed his blade he brought it down instinctively, slamming the large crimson blade into the offending horn and following up with a powerful kick of his right leg to get some distance, the ball of his foot intent on burrowing itself in Cold’s gut. The master swordsman smirked at his opponent then, a glint of pleasure and malice flashing through those cold crimson hues. His feet spread and dug into the loose Namekian soil before the Regent lept forward with a quick jump, moving at supersonic speeds towards a man he once called his superior, with his sword point leading. The fluidity of movement was astounding as any onlookers would find not a second to breathe, the crimson blade whistling through the air towards King Cold’s seven most vital areas but with such speed that it appeared as a single stroke.

He regained his balance and shifted his weight as he lashed out again and again and again. Three shots echoed out over the now desolate landscape, each attack carrying enough force to send shockwaves erupting outwards. The first two strikes were two powerful slashes with all of his weight behind them, the blade coming down in a blur of speed towards King Cold’s collar bones. It was a marvel, to witness the man weild a blade of that size as if it were a tooth pick, his last strike a blinding fast stab for what would be the Changeling’s naval.

In the back of his mind even as he attacked he wondered just how he would address this man. If what he said was true and he really was the King Cold that he remembered, than it was true that Chaos had failed him. However, there still remained the slim chance that his senses and vision were betraying him-- two possibilities the Regent would have laughed at. Perhaps the best way for him to uncover the truth of the bizarre situation that had found him was to do exactly what he was doing; no matter the power difference, the real Cosmic Emperor would still be a formidable opponent. If King Cold responded well, it would tell him all he needed to know.

Telepathy.

That had to be it. Another of Cold’s techniques that had fallen by the wayside during his time in the dead zone was telepathy. He would make the residents of Kanassa pay for keeping this weakness from him, but the here and now was consumed with his former protégé. Rather than the warm feeling of blood dripping down his horn and onto his face, Cold was rewarded with a thud and the shockwave of the sword embedding itself in his horn. Before he could twist his body to destroy the blade of Chaos’ sword, the Lord of the Cosmic Empire had withdrawn in and kicked off from Cold’s stomach like it was the surface of Namek itself. As Chaos pushed off, he was rewarded with an involuntary exhalation from Cold, whose diaphragm was compressed by the force of the blow.

Show me your true strength…

Cold’s nonverbal request was greeted with an impressive display of swordsmanship, in which seven strikes appeared to come at once. But in what would be a blur to onlookers, had Chaos left any of them alive, Cold’s power pole came to the fore in a spinning movement that would have fanned the Cosmic Regent had the weapon been the right shape. Moving himself as he moved his staff to block the oncoming attacks, Cold narrowed his profile to present a much smaller target for the grand weapon in the hands of Chaos and in doing so allowed his blocks to be more of a deflection of the immense strength behind the blows. As he deflected the blows to either side of his narrowed profile, Cold drove the end of his weapon straight towards the Chaos’ stomach.

Chaos was far from finished with his weapon as he swung the behemoth of a weapon with brutal resolve in a downward arc towards Cold’s collarbone. Acting purely on instinct at this point, Cold raised his power pole to block the strike. He succeeded in arresting the downward momentum of the strike, but the shockwave from the immense strength behind the strike caused Cold to drop the power pole at his feet. There wasn’t time after the first strike for Cold to reach down and pick up his errant weapon and he instead had to spring backwards as fast as he could in order to avoid the second strike. Unfortunately, his speed left a lot to be desired after his sojourn in the dead zone and the attack succeeded in opening up a neat, but deep slice from his pectoral to his hip. The precision of the slice meant that he didn’t feel the pain straight away. As Chaos moved to drive the sword home, Cold flicked the power pole up to his hand with his foot and used its greater to strike out at the face of the oncoming hybrid in order to ensure that if he wanted to lay his sword upon the changeling King he would need to take a face full of pole first.

Impressive. Very impressive.

Cold sprang backwards, placing ten or so metres between himself and his opponent to take stock of the injury. A dull ache started in his wound as the purple blood began to seep from the wound, which might have been a whole lot worse if Chaos had been using a substandard weapon. As it was, the slice was neat and wasn’t bleeding so much that Cold was forced to take action. Not yet anyway.

“Extend,” he muttered, shoving the end of the weapon towards the neck of his hybrid opponent and making it extend so fast that he expected the Cosmic Regent to have a substantial amount of difficulty dodging it.

Here comes the pain.
For just a moment when the powerpole had collided with his gut he thought he may lose his lunch simply from the force of the blow. As expected, despite the difference in strength and speed, Cold’s skills were rusty but still beyond the abilities of most beings. He mentally commended the King of Changelings as Cold dealt with each powerful blow until the loud crack of the powerpole smashing into his face clouded his thoughts.

He whispered a vile curse before spitting on the ground and staining it a shade of red. The crimson of his eyes scanned over the retreating changeling and his ears just barely picked up on a single word Cold muttered. A sharp pain exploded from the nerve endings in his neck where the changeling’s weapon slammed into it before he could react. But how? There were very few things in the universe he couldn’t follow when it came to speed, but for some reason he hadn’t even registered that the pole had moved! The only indication that anything had happened was the grotesque black bruise extending from his jaw to his shoulder.

His left hand gently rubbed the tender area as he glared at the weapon in Cold’s hands. What an annoyance. With a practiced spring he pushed off in King Cold’s direction, his body seeming to disappear in a blur of incomprehensible speed that carried him to his opponent’s left side. Before he had stopped moving his free hand was brought up to aim at Cold’s torso and an impossibly fast and nearly invisible string of Ki tore threw the air. A second wave of entrapment wires shot forward to claim the King’s freedom, fired from an angle in front of and to his opponent’s right side; just in case the changeling managed to perceive and dodge the first.

Taking a new position directly in front of the King of Changelings, Chaos fell into a comfortable stance with his massive weapon at the ready. He wondered, would Cold figure it out? What the King perceived in front of him as two Chaos’ wielding massive blades and poised to strike was nothing more than an illusion implanted telepathically into his opponent’s mind. The brilliant warrior had perfected a sort of illusionary craft and perfectly constructed a mental replica of himself to draw his opponents’ attention over the years. The idea behind the technique was something he borrowed from Master Roshi one of the greatest innovators in martial arts to ever exist; Chaos had to give credit where it was due, giving a mental tip-of-the-hat to the pervy old master.

The Regent’s expert control over his Ki was employed more in his version of the technique, however. He grinned as he masked his energy signature to such a minute level it would take strict concentration to detect and he had no intentions of allowing his opponent time to concentrate. He moved swiftly along the charred ground, rushing the King head on. His left hand balled into a tight fist and cocked back as if to deliver an uppercut to Cold’s stomach, but his fist froze in place and even his expression seemed blank and devoid of life. To any onlookers, it would look and feel as though he were an illusion, whereas the false Chaos- swinging his sword to Cold’s neck, he chuckled to himself- would move every bit as threatening as he should be. If Cold’s skills had rusted even in the slightest that would be enough. The Changeling would see the first Chaos, thanks to his own combat instincts and common sense, then ignore it for the one aiming for his neck. Most battle hardened and overconfident fighters would tell you the illusion is always the first to strike! Chaos hoped to catch Cold thinking he was a step ahead, making himself an easier target.

So he waited as his illusion swung, the Regent preparing another speed teleport. When Cold either looked away or seemed prepared to move, he would be met with six violent and incredibly fast uppercuts to his midsection. If the King hadn’t noticed his ruse initially, he would surely understand what happened at the conclusion of those attacks. For this reason, both images of Chaos dashed around Cold, hoping to confuse him further like the classic cup and ball trick. The illusionary image now looked dead and cold and obviously fake as it attacked with a violent stab from the front, but could Cold trust his eyes to see through the illusion? Chaos, meanwhile, unloaded a devastating combo of hooks with his left hand to his opponent’s kidney area. He made sure that a majority of his illusion’s actions forced the changeling to either pick the wrong attacks to dodge, or force him to dodge into his true attacks.

Another shuffle around Cold to mask his true position before his next attack, this time his left leg shot out to sweep the King’s legs as he appeared in front of him. The illusion threw a jab at the changeling’s nose with the true intentions of clouding Cold’s field of view. As his leg retracted, hopefully successfully dropping Cold to the ground, the true Chaos began raining elbows upon his opponent, the point of his elbow streaking towards Cold’s refined nose.

At that instant, Chaos and his illusion once again switched places as the Regent attempted to grasp Cold around the arms tightly while the fake appeared just in the changeling’s peripheral view to draw his attention. As the illusion worked to distract the King of Changelings, Chaos hoped to get a tight hold of the man so that his next move would work where he attempted to flip the man over and slam him horn first into the dirt.

The amount of concentration required to control such a perfect illusion, mask his Ki, and launch a devastating assault (perfectly coordinated, of course) took its toll forcing his free hand to clutch his now throbbing head. He shook the cobwebs off and re focused solely on his opponent. The crafty warrior moved silently, skirting to a closer position to the changeling. Surely Cold would have trouble trusting his sight after the illusionary barrage, and now Chaos moved soundlessly the changeling would probably have a hard time trusting his senses. He smiled maliciously as his blade cut through the air in a pair of massive arching slashes at each arm.

Chaos’ blood, such a magnificent shade of crimson as it was, stained the charred ruins of what was at bustling Namekian community before the Cosmic Empire arrived. The hybrid nightmare bruised instantly from Cold’s sneaky weapon attack and his cool demeanour cracked a little as he glared at the former Cosmic Emperor.

Yes Chaos. I am back.

The Cosmic Regent blurred into nothingness and Cold had little to go on but a basic vector that seemed to point to his left-hand side as being the target. Cold turned and reacted instinctively as his scouter pinged to indicate that he was using a qi technique. The technique he used was one that the monkey had learned in battle only recently, but was employed to great effect by the former Cosmic Emperor. Pink electricity crackled anew, striking out at the barely perceptible string of energy and absorbing its contents to power Cold’s own attack. Such was the nature of the attack that it was almost self-sustaining. As the scouter pinged again, Cold let out a roar of frustration designed to dissipate the irritatingly persistent attack once and for all.

Not fazed by the lack of success, Chaos stepped his qi-based assault up a notch. Before Cold’s very eyes, the hybrid appeared to split into three seemingly identical beings. The monkey’s skill set was fortunately well-equipped to recognise the use of the illusion wolf technique, but Cold was nonetheless impressed by the fact that Chaos had made it his own.

I can make illusions too…

As the trio moved to strike, Cold wasted no times with stratagems designed to pick which cup the fuzzy pink ball was under. He rarely had patience for such games. Instead, Cold used Chaos’ own tricks against him. The monkey held Master Roshi in high regard considering that the old man was a sexual predator and had learned the illusion wolf as a reward for passing some ridiculous challenge. Cold considered employing it now as a giant middle finger to the pervert but instead went with one taught by his cousin, Lord Frost. Cold used the afterimage technique to leave an illusion standing within the Chaos trio’s grasp while his real self was standing some distance behind the hybrid. The real Chaos revealed himself by firing six uppercuts into fake Cold’s stomach.

The trio quickly reformed the carnival trick and Cold had considerable difficulty figuring out which one was which among the three. His scouter was silent, having trouble tracking the individuals in order to pinpoint the real source of the power. Cold cursed the useless machine and tried to use his senses. As a Chaos attacked with a sword, Cold’s memory triggered and he ignored it in favour of the version attacking him with just his fists. Unfortunately, the cognitive process had taken time sufficient for the real Chaos to get into position and the best Cold could do was dodge a couple of the brutal kidney punches. The changeling King would be pissing blood for a week after this effort.

As though he had sensed the manner in which Cold had figured out who the real Chaos was, one of the illusions that Cold had pinpointed sheathed its sword and swung a straight right. It didn’t hit and Cold wasn’t surprised, however the sweep of his legs came from beyond the illusion and Cold didn’t see it coming, nor was he able to do anything as Chaos rained blows down upon his perfectly proportioned face.

As Cold got to his feet again, purple blood staining his upper lip and dripping down onto what remained of his cloak, he was seized from behind by the real Chaos and stabbed into the ground like a javelin that wasn’t quite pointy enough. By this point, Cold could almost see little tweeting birds fluttering about his head having a merry old time while the tide of battle turned against him. He shook his head, clearing it before his scouter and senses pinged at the same time to alert him to a hidden attack that was now too close for him to even think about dodging. It was the flourishing way that Chaos brandished his sword that ultimately saved the King, for Cold had just enough time to take a knee and bring up his power pole to parry the attacks as they aimed to relieve him of his favourite appendages.

By this point, the former Cosmic Emperor knew that his goose was pretty much cooked and saw fit to congratulate his former protégé.

“You are a worthy replacement, my friend,” he said simply.

The winds of change.
Chaos smiled wide as soon as the words hit his ears. He’d been waiting for his old mentor to say he hadn’t completely failed, much as Ai liked to think that. Looking now at the battered changeling he could breath a sigh of relief. His right arm slung his large sword over his shoulder like a baseball bat, the whites of his teeth gleaming in the dual sun light.

”It’s good to see you again. And don’t think that there was no search for you; the Dead Zone isn’t exactly a place that comes up on a map,” he chided, all though he knew he had still failed in some way. An awkward silence came over them which didn’t bother Chaos in the least. He was still at quite a loss for what to say to the Changeling King. He owed the man his life, but all that seemed like a lifetime ago.

He laughed lightly as a thought came to mind. Perhaps Cold would appreciate seeing just how worthy Chaos had become. Cold crimson hues observed the King as he tilted his head to address his former comrade.
”But, for your own peace of mind, let me show you that the Empire was left in very capable hands.”

Immediately he stopped masking his Ki signature and let his energy spill out unrestrained so that Cold could feel it. A massive column of black energy surrounded him splitting the sky. Lightning cracked through the atmosphere all around them as the immense weight of his energy crashed upon Namek. Chaos vanished in the veil of pitch black Ki which emanated from him. This was truly something special for the King of Changeling’s to behold; no other beings in existence had ever witnessed such power on display, and surely the whole of planet Namek was painfully aware that they too were his audience. His powerlevel continued to skyrocket to unparalleled heights surely incomprehensible in scale for most beings on the planet; the terrifying level of power would make all the worlds’ oceans seem like a single drop. Entire chunks of solid stone became dislodged from the ground and flew into the distance, chunks of rock to rival hillsides tossed aside by the violent torrent of energy as if they were mere pebbles.

Several tense moments passed as his show reached its apex. The black column of Ki slowly shrank down and eventually evaporated completely and the turbulent winds and flashes of lightning ceased as well. And there stood the Cosmic Regent, his outward appearance physically unchanged but with no restraint on his true power. The immense heaviness his power carried would prove unbearable for most, but a man such as King Cold would be notice it without feeling like he was about to implode under the pressure.

”You’re the only being to ever witness this power, Cold. I hope that this will put any concerns you may have to rest. I wish I could stay and chat, but I do have other matters to attend to,” he said while eying a village that dotted the horizon. ”Unless you have something more to say, we will have to catch up another time, I’m afraid. But before I go, let me say, it was an honor to serve under you.”

With that he offered his hand to his former mentor for a respectful handshake before getting back on task. Deep down, he wanted to prove to Cold that not only was he a good replacement;

He was better.

SCHEMA
Cold had to hand it to the hybrid nightmare; he had really come into his own since stepping out of the former Cosmic Emperor’s shadow. Every single one of the Lords of the Cosmic Empire was capable of great things, but Chaos was out in a league of his own now.

It’s good to see you again. And don’t think that there was no search for you; the Dead Zone isn’t exactly a place that comes up on a map.

Cold nodded in response to the rebuke from his former protégé. The Cosmic Regent had seemed truly shocked to see him again; something that should not be the case if they just cast him to the wind without a second thought.

But, for your own peace of mind, let me show you that the Empire was left in very capable hands.

The qi energy that had sat restraining within Chaos for much of the latter part of the battle was suddenly released in rolling waves that uprooted what trees remained nearby and kicked up a dust storm in a vortex around the two fighters. As through Chaos was the eternal dragon, the entire sky was suddenly darkened as a column of dark energy sprang forth from the Cosmic Regent. The lone qi signature at the epicentre of the maelstrom of darkness was changing and becoming something much more than he had been at any point in the fight. The planet itself appeared to be vibrating; an unmistakable reminder to anyone present that the Lords of the Cosmic Empire were rivalled by none.

Something that Cold had forgotten during his long stay in the Dead Zone was the internal pressure that seemed to be created by being in the vicinity of beings with such immense power. It was a feeling deep in the pit of his stomach that could be vaguely compared to a dull form of nausea. As Cold contemplated the feeling, the maelstrom intensified to the point where entire chunks of the landscape were breaking off and passing through the air. If Chaos continued to build his power in this fashion, the oceans would boil and Cold would be having fish sticks for dinner.

But boil the oceans did not, for the storm passed and left only Chaos behind, but the Cosmic Regent was different. Physically, he remained the same but his power was far in excess of anything that Cold could ever have imagined.

You’re the only being to ever witness this power, Cold. I hope that this will put any concerns you may have to rest. I wish I could stay and chat, but I do have other matters to attend to. Unless you have something more to say, we will have to catch up another time, I’m afraid. But before I go, let me say, it was an honor to serve under you.

Chaos truly had surpassed the former Cosmic Emperor in every way. The Cosmic Empire didn’t need him anymore and the time had come for King Cold to lead the PTO once more. He shook the hand of the Cosmic Regent.

“The honour was mine, Chaos.”

And all was done.
