The saiyan halfbreed stood on the bridge of the Bahamut overlooking the readouts and reports of the local sector. There had been some unusual activity lately and that usually didn't mean anything good. There hadn't been any word about Tamesis ever since his exile on Vegeta. He had been prepared for some form of retaliation by so far very thing had been silent. Whatever the demonic underling was plotting it couldn't be good.

As he read his eyes went cross ad he realized he had been at it for far too long. He needed to take a break and calm his mind, or at the least put it on something else. He smiled slightly to himself an made his way to the meditation chamber. Once there, he cleared his mind and stretched out his consciousness so that he could seek out a worthy opponent. He sensed someone familiar and remembered their last bout.

He created an arena that was vaguely reminiscent of a scene in someone's nightmare. It was dark an cold and the rocky terrain seemed to want to fight just as much as the combatants that would inhabit it. It clashed together and created jutting peaks and deep trenches. Strega stood atop one of the sharp spires and waited for the other fighter.

Bardock had let his mind be drawn into the astral realm once more but this time, found himself within a world not of his own creation. Despite the fact it suited him perfectly with the troubled thoughts he had been dealing with.

The cold seemed to chill his very bones; the dark stone ran into spires and deep ruts, all jagged and just waiting to bite into unsuspecting flesh. An excellent place for a fight.

The scarred saiyan the spotted his opponent to be through the gloom that weighed heavily on this world. It was a familiar face, Strega, the half breed. “Hello again friend, seems we’re here again. I won’t give up so easily this time,” he greeted the warrior.

Bardock’s royal blue aura flared into life, ironically casting light upon this gloomiest of worlds, something he didn’t feel he could truly bring anywhere, as he pushed his strength to its maximum. He knew he would need it in this spar.

Then the veteran was simply gone, his image slower to leave his previous location then he himself was. He reappeared behind his opponent aiming a hard right jab towards the base of the beings neck before rotating a left hook towards its cheek bone.

He then moved once more, this time slower but backwards, away from the half breed as he charged a frosty, light blue ki between his two upraised arms. He lashed forward with the beam, aimed to freeze his foe in place.

Strega saw the familiar saiyan appear on the astral plane before he spoke his greeting and Strega nodded in return. The warrior promised that he would not give up so easily this time and a small smile came to the half breed's face.

"Well, best not make any promises you can keep. Lets see how you fare." He said as he got into his fighting stance.

As he readied himself for battle the fighter before him allowed his power to reach it's peak and Strega followed suit. He wouldn't hold back in this fight and he would put this warrior to the test. Before he could make his move the pure blood disappeared from sight an reappeared behind him. The next few moments played out in his mind before even happening. The punches came and he rolled forward at the same time as he twisted around to come up facing his sparring partner.

As they separated a beam came at him and seemed it would hit before he disappeared from sight. He reappeared to the others left side and let loose a beam of his own, hoping it might make contact and do some damage. He would stop there for now and see how his guest reacted.

Strega slipped just beyond the reach of his fists expertly, almost too expertly, like he knew exactly what was about to happen before it did. It was the oddest feeling that he had not experienced before. How was he to defeat an opponent who could read his mind?

Bardock’s freezing ki was also dodged simply, the half breeds superior speed once again on display. This guyis good, the veteran confirmed his thoughts from the pairs last confrontation. From his foes new position, he released a pretty standard ki beam, similar to what a blaster produced but imbued with much more power.

The veterans multi-colored static aura surrounded him once more and swallowed up the rejuvenating goodness that it was able to extract from all but the most menacing attacks.

He used that very same ki in kind, a thin but incredibly fast beam of translucent red ki sped towards his foe. He didn’t stop there though, he pushed his body to its limit, demanding more and more speed, never being satisfied with the level it provided, appearing in front and above Strega as immediately after his ki attack as he could and striking down with a hammer blow towards the half breed skull.

His beam closed on the fellow saiyan and show signs that it would make its mark. When it did though the beam seemed to flow into the other fighter and renew some of his vigor. It was a technique that Strega thought he recalled seeing a few times before in combat. A rainbow of color surrounded his opponent now and the Demi saiyan could see what had happened.

He did bout had long to ponder it though for a retaliatory beam came his way and before he could stop it he felt the heat sear his left shoulder and throw him slightly off balance. His opponents onslaught would not stop there though as the man charged and attempted to lay a heavy blow down upon his head. Strega reacted quickly and held both arms up in an x shape and catching te blow, feeling the force transform into pain on his forearms and the ground below him start to give way as he was driven down a foot or more.

Before the contact was broken the demonic one smiled as flames liked his teeth. He opened his mouth and belched forth a tongue of flame that would hopefully engulf the other. No matter the case he would not stop there, instead allowing his ki to surge up and outward throughout the surrounding area in an attack that sought to push his opponent away and hopefully do a good bit of damage too.

The veteran saiyan pushed through the wall of flame sent his way by the half breed. It hurt, his skin was immediately sunburnt and the foul smell of burnt hair filled the surroundings. Then, the world went black as a explosive bubble of ki, far in advance of his own strength, slammed into the scarred warrior, sending his limp body flying. He crashed painfully into a jagged outcrop, demolishing it into a shower of the dark stone and continued on, finally coming to rest buried his full depth in unforgiving stone.

He’s just too powerful, the veteran lamented as he simply rested in his personalised crater, it was strangely comfortable if he was honest. Rousing the effort, he pulled his battered, bloody form from the depression. His left arm hung limp and useless. “You’re still too much for me,” he called to the half breed as he allowed his body to faded from the astral realm.
