Starrk had been thinking about the Saiyan that he'd mercilessly killed on Juno. That Saiyan had been so weak, it was almost surprising that he'd actually been counted as one of the elite race. During Starrk's original visit to the realm of the mortals, Saiyans had ruled as the fighting race and were closely followed by the Changelings. So far, Starrk had only met one powerful Saiyan and their battle had been extremely brief and in the astral realm. His lofty thoughts brought him to the planet Vegeta-sei, named after the long line of Kings that ruled the planet. He left his weights behind him as he headed towards the planet, coming upon two Saiyans who seemed to be training or in the middle of something. One of them, oddly enough, looked like both of the Saiyans he'd fought before, except this one had a scar on his face. The other was completely new. Between the two of them there was little challenge for him, but at the very least it was entirely possible that they could entertain him. With a nod of his head he said, "Yo." And went towards the older warrior first, delivering two harsh kicks to his opponent's stomach, a straight up side-kick followed by a spinning back kick. As he finished the spin, he faced his opponent again and moved with blurring speeds attempting to get under his guard, he smashed his face against his foe's skull and at practically the same time attempted to smash his foot against his forced adversary's instep. He found a safe spot to stand away from both of his adversaries, putting himself at a decent distance but more or less in between both of them. Notably, Starrk had once again shoved his hands in his pockets and was seemingly letting them rest there. He'd taken them out once in the battle against the weaker Saiyan, whose name he realized he'd never gotten, and had gone all out against Tapion. He wondered if his current opponent would force him to take any sort of actually actions in terms of evasion or defense that would actually force him to remove his hands from his pockets. He stood up straight, facing sideways and waited for his foe to make a move. His slender frame was less of a target when facing away and this particular stance had become a habit of his many millennia ago, allowing him to react and move as quickly as he needed to. Looking between his opponents he said, "I killed a Saiyan before…" He glanced at Bardock, "Kind of looked like you but had longer hair." Glancing at the other one he said, "Hopefully the two of you will be more interesting than him. Don't disappoint me." His aura flared out around him, as he was pretty much unable to suppress it to a manageable point. In other words, he remained at this strength because he couldn't go any lower. WC: 493 A1. The veteran soldier strode the red plains of his home world once more! It felt good to be back, even if it was only for a short stay. Zarbon had alerted the scarred warrior to a new, saiyan recruit to the Z Force who he was swinging by and pick up on his way through. He’d even managed to cameo in a few missions for the Army. Yeah, not a bad visit home. Bardock and his new recruit, a youth whom he had trained with under the King quite some time ago, Zuccil, where traveling on one errand or another for the King when a scraggily bearded humanoid, with something coyotish in his appearance, of indeterminable race, though clearly not of saiyan decent, appeared out of nowhere to assail the pair of warriors. Well, he mainly targeted the veteran. Obviously he was not stupid. The scarred saiyans scouter ping, drawing his attention to the man and indicating a ridiculous reading, surely it was on the fritz! But it was the only thing that allowed him a defence against the coyote’s first assault. A light green sheen of ki coated the veteran’s body, reducing the force of the initiating kicks on his body but not stopping the impact pushing him backwards across the tundra. The coyote was astonishingly fast and kept right on the veteran, delivering a stunning head butt that, despite the still partially effective shield, bloodied the old warrior’s nose. A sharp kick to his instep sent him sprawling to the iron rich dirt. Thank fuck, the veteran though subconsciously rubbing his damaged nose as the coyote backed away to a safe distance. A questioning stare for his youthful complain who had stood by and watched the event unfold. Hmmm, it was that fast I doubt he could of helped…… ”I don’t know who you’re talking about, but if you defeated him so easily, he was a fool and didn’t deserve the name saiyan!” the veteran answered his assailants boast, “You’ll find me much more challenging,” he added calmly. His saiyan blood racing as the thrill of the challenge at hand kicked in, he raised both palms towards the coyote in a blur of motion before firing six golden orbs of ki towards the man. Even as the final orb departed his palm, the veteran inhaled. Using his ki for the spark, his powerful lungs exhaled, producing a wall of blue white flame aimed to engulf his foe. The saiyan relaxed, adopting a defensive stance that kept him on the balls of his feet to allow him to react quickly to whatever the coyote threw at him next. He took a moment to toggle his green screened scouter which once again displayed the ridiculous readout to his onyx eye. His strength may have more than double since his last visit home, but, if the reading was accurate, the two soldiers where in deep shit. Zuccil was lucky to have seen either warriors initial attacks, but he guessed that this new stranger that had just attacked them would likely be far more interested in Bardock at the moment. This was a fact that Zuccil could use to their advantage, even if it was only a fleeting one. Just before Bardock had disappeared from his vision, Zuccil's scouter had picked up an energy signature that even made King Vegeta look like a chump. He couldn't believe what was still displayed on his scouter, and he was almost completely frozen with fear. He snapped out of it, his stark ebony eyes glinting dangerously, and took his own close-up stance. His left side faced the unknown attacker, his left arm falling to protect his lower torso and legs. His right arm wrapped around to to protect his upper torso and face. This was one of the rare times that Zuccil thought it a better idea to wrap his tail around his waist, rather than leave it exposed like he usually did. "I don't know who you are, or why you decided to attack and my friend," Zuccil sneered defiantly, "but it's one thing to beat a single, weakling Sayian. It's quite another to attack two proven warriors!" Zuccil boosted his ki to its max, hoping his little speech had possibly distracted their opponent enough that some of Bardock's attacks hit. He knew that he himself would need to keep his distance if he wanted to be any kind of help against a guy this powerful. But he did have a few options that could be used against this guy, at least as distraction. He jumped as high into the air as he could, his hands now cupped behind his back as a gold ball of ki formed between them. He knew he only had one real shot at this, but it was better than doing nothing. And so here went nothing. "DODONPA!!" He roared as he thrust his arms forward, releasing the ki beam. He quickly dropped down, landing a short distance from Bardock and fired off a white ki beam just as it finished flickering to life in his still outstretched, cupped hands. He was breathing heavily, but ever since he learned to master his own ki a little better, it wasn't nearly as draining as it used to be. That didn't mean, however, that any of it affected this new foe in the slightest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WC: 408 A1) Power Up A2) Buku + Dodonpa (-2.1%) A3) Energy Wave (-1%) Ki Usage: 3.1% Total Ki Usage: 3.1% Ki Remaining: 96.9% -------------------------------------------------------------- Stats After Battle Bonuses PL ~ 11584 / 11954 KI ~ 5977 / 5977 Str 1551 Spd 1619 Tou 1935 Sta 1276 Vit 1442 Det 75 Cha 67 Int 128 ____________ Prepared Items: None ____________ Spcl Stuff: +403 Tou (Saiyan Armor w/ Shoulders) +5 Int (Scouter) |

"Good," Starrk said with no indication of emotion in his voice, "I was worried you were related. People get so angry when family members are killed. Hell really isn't that bad of a place, once you get used to it." His opponent had, by this point, raised his hands to fire off a barrage of energy attacks. Starrk glanced away and a thin barrier of energy formed that consumed the majority of the attacks, allowing only a fraction of the damage to actually penetrate his energy shield. He watched as his opponent conjured up a breath of fire, and if he'd been any other demon he almost would've smiled at it. Fighting a demon with fire was very much like using a bucket to stop a tidal wave; Sure you could do it in theory, but you'd need a very large bucket. The flames licked at his jacket and hakama but the fire didn't catch, and ended up dissipating before they could burn his physical flesh. At his side the other warrior was readying a ki blast that, at first, made Starrk wonder if he was going to have to actually defend against it. However, when the warrior shouted 'dodonpa' rather than the word that Starrk himself had become fond of, the demon warrior realized that he could allow the remainder of his energy protection to do away with this. The attack smashed into him, followed quickly by another weak ki blast (against which he procured no defense) and the other warrior landed and looked ready for a fight. Finally. Actual warriors. Since his battle with Tapion he'd been looking for fighters that, even if they couldn't match him in actual power, could match him in spirit. These two seemed to at least have something. It was entirely possible that combined they'd force Starrk to actually try. The warrior adjusted himself as he prepared for his attack and, before he began his onslaught said, "Starrk, by the way. I assume the two of you have names as well." He waited only an instant for a response before he blurred his speed, jumping backwards and kicking his left knee upwards before performing a spinning side kick with his right leg. During the spin he conjured up a great ball of blue flame that he fired off at the older of the two Saiyans, the one that had taunted him with flame before. He figured if the warrior could dish it out, he could have a taste at taking it. His eyes flickering to the other warrior he stood completely still his aura reappeared and a vault of electric light blue ki charged up and fired from his aura directly at the younger one, never actually touching Starrk in the process. Without wasting any time, he turned his attention back to the older warrior and produced the same quickly but intensely charged energy straight at this foe, the electricity crackling along it as it fired off at the scarred Saiyan. They're tough… but I don't think I want to kill them. I should see how much they can handle before I ramp anything up. WC: 522 A1. The veteran soldier watched on in near awe as his mighty adversary dealt with the pairs attempt at an offense with little to no effort. Fuckers got his hands in his pockets too! I will make him use them before this is over! Bardock’s mind hardened to the task as the thought ran through his head. It might seem a minor goal, but when dealing with an opponent five times your strength, it was a noble one. ”Bardock,” the veteran answered the coyote’s question simply. Not feeling the need to add anything more. Moments after the words passed his lips, his opponent was on the move again. With blinding speed, his foe launched a ball of blue flame aimed straight for the scarred saiyan! The speed was staggering, allowing Bardock only a moment to boost his speed to the maximum. It wasn’t enough as the fiery orb burnt through under his raised left arm as he twisted every which way to avoid the orb. The soft flesh of his tricep was badly singed but his armour reduced some of the heat damage to his torso. The coyote, he hated to say it but it was true, thankfully turned his attention to the veteran’s youthful companion, giving him the precious seconds he needed to recover. Almost before he could, a solid wall of ki was on a bee line for the veteran. His mighty lungs produced an ear shattering roar, shaking the very molecules of the ki until a hole opened up in it, just enough to allow him to slip through unharmed. Normally that’d dissipate it completely, the veteran thought, shocked, This guy is something else! The veteran would not be deterred or disheartened, however powerful his foe may be. He would push forward to his bitter end if that was what was required of him this day. But, first, he needed to slow this guy down. Remembering the small hive he had acquired on Arlia and its effect when he had seen Zarbon utilise it in battle, he pulled the item from within the small pouch tucked safely in the small of his back and threw it to the red soil. As before, it shattered, producing a wave of the Arlian bugs. Replicating so fast they seemed to appear from nowhere, they made haste towards the coyote, somehow knowing which of the other warriors was the enemy. A perfect distraction. The veteran watched on as the promising youth leaped into action and used the time to formulate his next move. "Oh man, we barely even made a scratch on this guy!", Zuccil yelped when he saw the minimal effect his and Bardock's attack had on their opponent. A bead of sweat dripped down his forehead as he looked on in terror. He stood there frozen for a split second while Starrk’s attention was still on Bardock for the moment. "This guy is just toying with us! This fight is gonna be amazing!!" Zuccil's terror turned to an over-excited smirk as he ran head long toward the man. Then the wall of ki came and Zuccil jumped as high and fast as he could, his image vanishing into a barely visible blur. He reappeared behind Bardock just as he was jumping through the whole he created in the wall, grabbing the back of his armor and riding his momentum through the hole, combat rolling off to the side as they landed. Then he jumped, ki charging into his left arm, swinging for Starrk's right ear. He followed through by bringing his heel down, aimed at Starrk's shoulder. He jumped back next to Bardock, landing in his usual closed-off, defenisive stance. "By the way, to answer your question, my name is Zuccil.", he said with a defiantly smirk. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WC: 206 TWC: 614 ---------------------------------------- A1) ST + Dodge attempt A2) Buku + Blast Punch (-1.1%) A3) SA Ki Used: 1.1% Total Ki Used: 4.2% Ki Remaining: 95.8% ----------------------------------------

The older Saiyan threw a bunch of bugs at Starrk. The demon had been alive for well over ten thousand years and had never had a colony of insects thrown at him. They were an annoyance, to be sure, but no real threat. He dispatched them with haste and almost wondered what the point of their existence was. He hadn't been bitten, so if there was some sort of poison that was supposed to take him, it had failed. Nevertheless, it did take up a good bit of time to destroy. He glanced up in time to see the younger Saiyan charging a punch headed straight for his ear. Starrk took the blow and noted the light ringing that it caused. As his opponent attempted a follow up, Starrk's next actions were too quick for most mortal eyes to keep track of. He blurred his speed and jumped into the air without actually flying. His legs were at Zuccil's chest level as the young Saiyan attempted his smashing kick. Starrk shot his knee towards Zuccil's chest cavity then, as he fell, delivered a hard headbutt within a fraction of a second. He delivered a spinning roundhouse kick followed immediately by another with the intention of dispatching the weaker foe once and for all. He turned back towards his stronger opponent and his aura flared into existence again. As he rushed towards his opponent, he charged up two spinning discs of ki, one on either side of his aura. The cirrcular saws of ki grew and grew on the outer edge of his aura until they'd gathered up enough energy The twin discs fired off one after the other straight at his scarred foe. In an instant he'd brought up another and shot it out almost as if he were firing off clay pigeons. This attack was instantly followed by a (slightly) weaker version of the electrically charged ki blast that he'd shot off moments ago. Four powerful attacks in only a few seconds, and that was before he'd even reached the Saiyan that'd identified himself as Bardock. Once he did, he stopped in a slight crouch just before his opponent and said, "You and your friend want to see me take my hands out of my pockets. You think that I'm disrespecting you by leaving them in there. The truth is… I don't think you could handle if I did, and I'm not trying to insult you. I'm just trying my hardest not to kill you." In a flash he pulled his hands from his pockets and gripped the hilt of his blade. He pulled it from its sheath and slashed seven times as quickly as a single person could slash once. He aimed for just off of various pressure points, turning what could have been seven deadly strikes into an attempt at seven extremely serious warning shots. His weapon was sheathed and his hands were in his pockets almost as quickly as he'd drawn them out. He delivered a spinning roundhouse kick that exploded on impact before jumping backwards and landing facing sideways, looking on at his opponent. "You sure you can keep this up? Because I might have to get serious." WC: 533 Free. Take Zuccil A2 A1. ST+ Counter Zuccil A3 w/ 2SA (Knee+Headbutt) (Spd: 38,188) A2. 2SA (Kick+Kick) @ Zuccil A3. The Arlian meat shields, along with the youth’s attacks, did the trick, buying the veteran some time. Envisioning the coyote’s next attack’s being of a merciless nature, he took the time to prepare some defensive steps. A multihued aura of static crackled into life around the scarred warrior, designed to defend against energy attacks. It was immediately needed as Starrk dispatched the youth and turned his attention back onto Bardock. Two spinning discs of death developed on the outskirts of his foe’s aura before rocketing towards the veteran! He dived forward and turned, allowing his protective aura to do its work or the left most of the two disks as he simultaneous brought his right arm down on the flat surface of the other disc, sending it burrowing into the iron rich sand below, accepting the damage to his arm deflecting such a high powered attack would cause. Before he knew it, another of the pinkish discs of doom was on the march towards him followed quickly by a second wall of ki similar to the coyote’s earlier attack. His arm ached too much to attempt another deflection, so he did what he could do. Boosting his speed to its maximum, he circled the disc, drawing the attack back towards the shockwave. Keeping his speed up at what was a ridiculous level for him, he paused until both where on him before he attempted to move clear, hoping the two attacks would cancel each other, raising his arms in an X across his face and balling his legs up to use what little protection they could provide against whatever came of his escape attempt. The coyote was relentless however, withdrawing his hands from his pockets and wielding his blade he slashed at the veteran. The blade bit deeply into Bardock’s flesh, opening cuts that threatened to spill out the old warrior’s life if they weren’t attended too in short order. A kick then thudded into his armoured side, the resulting detonation throwing the scarred saiyan across the battle field like a rag doll, before coming to rest in a painful, bloody pile on the unforgiving terra firma of Vegeta-sei. The veteran dragged his sorry ass back to his feet. There was still some fight in this old dog. His wounded limbs seemed to work better than he expected, apparently the coyote like being had made good on his boast to not be trying to kill the pair, though it didn’t feel much like that was the case. Well, the best defence was a strong offense, or so they said, so the veteran went on the latter. He raised his left palm in a blur of speed, his burnt skin stretched painfully, and fired a thin but incredible fast red beam of ki towards the coyote. Immediately upon loosing the red beam, both his arms came above his head as he charged an icy blue ki between his hands. He fired the arctic blast at his foe closely behind the previous attack. Wondering if it was smart to use up this much ki and realising he had little choice, his right palm came up pointed palm out towards his powerful foe. He would make this being hurt at least a little before this was over. Rich, blue ki began to develop into a large orb of ki, tethered an inch to the fore of his palm by his will alone as he raised his free hand to and placed two fingers to his brow. The saiyan fazed out of reality and reappeared with the royal blue orb of ki all but pressed to his foe’s chest. He released to orb to do its work, knowing the resulting explosion would splash back on him somewhat, but not caring. If he was to die here today, his opponent would have scars to remember him by. Aaaaaaaaaaand here we go. Since Kienzan isn't homing, and Shockwave is a pretty large attack, I'm thinking Bardock's plan was a little wrong. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he could fly around Kienzan, bu guarding against shockwave would be difficult, especially without defense techs left. Judging I'd say Starrk is relatively in good shape. Bardock would be fairly jacked up, and after rolling the CE, Crush is in effect on Bardock. Zuccil's relatively okay. Bardock's done a lot to keep him safe, so we'll see this next round. RP reward is a toss up. It's split between TanGoku and Tony Starrk, but I'll have to give it to Bardock just for his intelligent item usage. If he hadn't used his hive exactly when he did, he'd probably be pretty well finished. However the fight must go on. Ready, Set, SHOENICE |

Zuccil never even saw the first knee coming, coughing up blood as felt his sternum shatter and diaphragm rupture. The head butt he narrowly ducked away from in the midst of keeling over from the pain of the first attack. Zuccil barely saw the first kick, and not even close to soon enough to defend it, but he expected the second kick, because it occurred to him that he was being taught a lesson. Get away from me. Zuccil jumped up quickly and kicked out, meeting the force of his kick so that he was merely sent flying. Unfortunately, sent flying meant into the side of a build. He was blown through the top story wall, and he lay in the rubble coughing up more blood. "Oh wow, I knew this guy was no joke, but I just got hemmed up like a dumb puppy." , he croaked to himself through the pain. He could barely breath for the injuries to his chest and lungs. He wanted to get up and keep fighting, he even struggled to get up at first. But the message was clear, stay down boy. Zuccil did the only other thing that would keep a smile on his face in this situation. "Damn...I wanna be on his level." Zuccil's body was down for the count, but his ki wasn't however. Although it hurt to even try to channel it, he had to get one last offensive attempt in. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he just completely crapped out on Bardock without some continued attempt at aid. He lifted his arms slowly, a feat he was actually amazed he was able to perform at this point. His hand cupped, meeting at the heel of the palms, and a gold ball of ki faded to life very slowly inside the cup. "This one's for you Bardock, sorry I turned out so useless to you. At least now I can say I went down swinging.", he croaked as the ball finally came fully to life. He released the beam with a roar as his vision began to blur out to black, "DODONPA!!!" Still this warrior had to persist. Starrk had to hand it to him, he seemed mostly battered and broken, but he refused to go down. The seasoned Saiyan fired off a quick beam that smashed into Starrk's chest and barely made so much as a dent. He looked down at it and said, "That's all?" Only to see that the opposing warrior was already firing off a blue beam of energy straight at the demonic warrior. Starrk shifted to the side with speed that likely would have baffled lower class warriors, but he figured Bardock had seen enough of it by now to know that it was going to happen. He glanced at the warrior and waited patiently for what was going to happen next. He noticed the large sphere of energy forming in the open palm of his foe. He squinted ever so slightly at it. It looked like it could potentially be powerful in the right hands. The seasoned warrior wasn't about to fire it from that far away, however, in a flash of energy and using a technique that Starrk himself was quite fond of, he was all but in Starrk's face with his attack, firing it off at nearly point blank range. The demon's hand was on his hilt and he brought his weapon up in the nick of time, the hungry blade absorbing the energy and transferring it to its master. Starrk wasn't fond of this particular technique but he knew that it had its uses. The one that Bardock had used, however, he was going to have to remember that one. It was clean, simple and efficient, everything that Starrk was looking for in his select techniques. He made a mental note of how his foe used it for further study. From almost nowhere the last energy blast of the younger Saiyan came racing at Starrk, filled with his hopes to somehow get one last hit on the demonic warrior. Starrk leaned backwards ever so slightly and the beam soared right past him into oblivion. So that happened. Starrk looked back at the seasoned Saiyan. He'd started off with a good fight, and he'd even managed to make Starrk pull out a few of his own tricks. Now, however, he'd found that his opponent was pulling out last ditch effort after last ditch effort. This old dog needed to know that it was time to stay down. With absolutely no physical change, Starrk's aura expanded and began to lay down severe pressure. He released his internal restraints and allowed every bit of his flowing power to release and flow over his opponent. He took several steps closer to his foe and said, "The difference between you and I is greater than you previously thought. You've proven yourself an accomplished warrior, your forfeit here will not be a dishonorable one. I was searching for faith that the Saiyan race hadn't lost its edge and you've given me what I need to believe that there are indeed Saiyan warriors that exist to make the race proud. Give up now, spare yourself any further pain." He looked over at the younger warrior and said, "And it would be wise to see to him. The veteran’s first attack struck home, though had little effect. That was fine however, it was only ever meant to be a distraction. What wasn’t fine was that it proved no distraction at all as the coyote neatly side stepped his icy blast. Even despite the veteran’s instantaneous movement, the tiny gap h had been forced to leave between the combatants had proved enough to allow his foe’s weapon to absorb the attack. On a good note though it stopped the scarred warrior having to deal with damage from his own attack’s detonation and he’d forced his opponent to use his hands for a second time. Small victories where exaggerated against a warrior of the coyotes calibre. An easily dodged hail mary from Zuccil later and the coyote’s aura was intensifying. Bardock could feel the weight of this being’s power pushing against him as his scouter’s reading skyrocketed still further. This guy is out of control, he thought dejectedly as he wonder what he could possibly do against a now even more powerful enemy that had been way too much to handle even before. That problem was removed from his hands as the coyote spoke, informing the veteran he had earned the respect he so sort and that surrender now would be honourable. He also made a good point about the youngster being close to death. His decision was simple, live to fight another day or consign both himself and Zuccil to death. No choice really. “You have the day, Starrk,” the battered, bleeding veteran conceded, “I thank you for this little lesson and am glad I could restore some little faith in my race. My power will continue to grow. One day I’ll even be a challenge for you,” his tone at the end made no questions as to if he believed the words. The old warrior turned, making quick time to scope up his unconscious companion. He threw the youth up on his shoulder, painfully accepting the weight and turned to face the coyote one final time before making a b-line towards the Normandy and the relief of his rejuvenation tank, “Farewell, Demon.” WC: 356 Actions A1: Surrender |
