“You are taking things too lightly. You have forgotten what it means to lose a friend....I will remind you.” Ja'rel spoke, placing a hand over the saiyans face. Sai was unable to resist, simply falling face forward. The battle had been a joke to tire him out so he couldn't resist. Shit.

It was about the best sleep he'd ever had, right up until that explosion not far from his head. Heat and concussive force compelled Sai to move his ass, the saiyan rolling across the ground to get a look at what was going on. He seemed to be, for whatever reason, out in the god damn woods. The sand sticking to his back assured him he'd been there for a while. The first thing that stuck out like a soar thumb, aside from the fact he'd somehow got into the god damn woods in his sleep, were the shiny robots armed with pistols and such.

“Surrender yourself, inferior life form.” the robot demanded raising the pistol. A single shot rang out, a beam of energy darting at the saiyan.

“Go fuck yourself.” Sai responded, throwing both of his hands up. The blast slammed into the saiyans palms, pushing him backwards with impressive force. That pistol must have been pretty bad ass, no hand held weapon should have been able to push him back. The saiyans own energy flashed around him, enabling him to deflect the shot further into the woods. “You're gonna have to do a lot better than that, shell head.” Sai quipped. The androids photo receptors adjusted, several more of his fellows pouring out of the woods behind him. Sais mouth shut suddenly as he caught sight of the pistols they all held. He needed to get the hell out of here and soon. Where the crap was here anyway? The blasters fired, Sai darting to his left as the beams closed in. The resulting explosion knocked several trees over as well as sending dirt into the air. Using it to cover himself the saiyan darted behind a tree, wondering if the machines could keep up. The who what where when and why all reverberated in his head. Becoming ever more annoying . The mechanoids receptors focused again, changing from standard sight into an infrared lens.

“Adjust angles. 30 degrees.” The robot announced as it aimed at the tree. Deciding he didn't like how that sounded the saiyan began to move, being blown off of his feet as the tree exploded. Sais eyes narrowed, hands lashing out. His palms pressed against the ground, continuing with the momentum he'd gained from the explosion. His feet touched the ground a moment later, hands pumping energy blasts at the droids as he quickly moved to the left again. The droids made no attempt to move, Sai stopping to watch as his attack hit them dead on. A resounding explosion filled the air, the saiyan covering his face as debris was propelled backwards. When the debris stopped Sai lowered his arms, raising an eyebrow. Had he done it? No. Something was off here. “Show yourselves!” Sai shouted at the smoke cloud. A large blue beam exploded out in place of androids, catching the saiyan just off guard enough to slam into him. The attack burned through his shirt, easily damaging his torso as the explosive force propelled him backwards.

“SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!” Sai shouted as he recovered again. The androids walked out of the smoke cloud, weapons trained on the saiyan. “Surrender yourself, inferior life form.” They repeated.

“I'll show you inferior...” Sai retorted as his hair shot upwards, spiking and turning gold.

Wait.....what? He couldn't do that....could he? Well he WAS the sai, so it was probable he was awesome enough to be a super saiyan and just forget. Yeah, he was probably a super saiyan.

He dropped into a fight stance, unsure of his chances since these things greatly outnumbered him. The guns fired, Sai leaping into the air. The beams slammed into the ground where he'd been standing, saiyan skimming the top of one as he closed the distance, lashing out with his right arm. The limb struck the droids chest plate dead center, putting a large fist shaped dent into it. “HAAA!” Sai shouted, unleashing a ki beam through his fist.

Sparks flew out of the androids photo receptors as the beam exited it's back, traveling a distance Sai couldn't quite determine before it exploded. “Only you guys le- AUGH!” Sai began to taunt, turning around to be hit in the face with one of those hyper guns. The super saiyan spiraled through the air, good eye seeing red as blood from a fresh wound ran down into it. He slammed into the ground, sliding backwards on his feet. His right hand slid with them, balancing him while scraping his palm. These things weren't giving up it seemed. Sai stood all the way up, shaking his right hand. Some of the left over wood chunks had made a nice wound.

“Final demand. Surrender yourself, inferior life form.” The remaining four droids told Sai. The saiyan stopped shaking his hand, considering his options. Those guns were able to fuck him up even when he was in super saiyan form. It looked like his only option was to turn it up even further...

Could he do that? Probably.

A streak of purple caught Sais attention, the saiyan turning his head to his left. One of the droids followed his gaze as the purple streak passed it.

“Error!” The machine shouted as it's torso fell in two. He caught sight of something for only a split second. A red light just before the android was bisected. Another streak, another destroyed robot. Sai wiped some of the blood away from his eye, giving him a clear view for a few seconds. The purple streak took form, though Sai could still barely make it out. It was unmistakably a saiyan in some sort of armor, though Sai couldn't tell what design it was. It honestly didn't look very much like the normal armor. The thing looked more like rollerblading gear.

What in the hell was rollerblading? The more he thought about it, the more it seemed weird he was thinking about things he'd never heard of. But might as well ignore it for now.

His clear view went away as blood ran into his eye again, turning the armored saiyan back into a streak of purple. When the last android fell the saiyan stopped, appearing normally in the middle of the downed robots. The armor really was minimalist looking. A helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, leggings and some odd looking boots.

“You're not injured are you?” the armored saiyan asked. Sai noting the fact it was a female from the voice.

“Define injured.” He replied, wiping blood away from his face once more.

“More are on their way, we have to get back to the capital if we're going to survive, can you keep up with me?”

“You bet. Also, what the hell is going on? Who are you, what are these robots, and whats with the shitty armor?”

“My name and rank are not important in this situation. We must move as quickly as possible.” The female took off into the woods again. Sai powered down slightly before following as best he could. Whoever she was she was quick. No matter how he looked at it she was pulling away from him. A ship blew past over head, two more following it, weapons blazing. That wasn't shit you saw everyday. As they traveled Sai noted this scene repeating itself.

“Hey! I think it's time to spill the beans about what's going on!” The two saiyans leapt out of the woods, falling down a cliff that most assuredly hadn't been there the day before. Sai landed lightly on the bottom, as did the female. They'd landed in the center of what had probably once been a structure. Ruined walls reached up into the sky, but failed to make it.

“We're in the middle of a war. We're losing.” the female saiyan said simply. “You may not believe it. But you're 10 years in the future from where you were a day ago. We've brought you back in order to prevent this.”

Sai stared blankly at the armored saiyan for a minute before sighing. “Okay, now seriously. Why am I here?”

“I TOLD YOU WHY YOU'R-” The sentence was drowned out by an explosion, both saiyans being propelled away from where they were standing moments before. Koltora slammed into one of the ruined walls, knocking it over. The female slammed into an exposed pipe, the metal easily going through her armor
.
“Surrender yourself, inferior life form.” The voice annoyed Sai to the very depths of his soul. He climbed to his feet ascending to super saiyan form immediately. The immediate problem was the fact there was more than 5 of the fuckers this time. He barely took out one, how would he fair against ten?

“Sai!” Someone shouted, the saiyan looked up, noting something falling into sight. A long ornate object slammed into the ground, digging it's way in. He didn't need to look twice to know what this was.

“Oh yeah, this'll work.” Sai said as he gripped the black blade, pulling it out of the earth. The armored saiyan shook suddenly, almost as if being jolted back to consciousness. Slowly she began to pull herself off of the pipe before falling onto the ground.

“RENGEKI!” Sai shouted as he took the black blade in both hands. The sword lit up a bright yellow color before the energy condensed around it, giving it a golden look. “ARMOR BREAK!” Sai moved forward at full speed, weaving between the androids until he found the one that could be considered in the center of them all. An explosion accompanied his swing, propelling the droids in every direction. That seemed to shatter when they hit the wall, must not have been the same model as the ones from earlier. As the commotion died down several more armored saiyans appeared, being lead into the ruins by a young saiyan girl Sai didn't recognize.

“Captain Penin. I assume you're alright.”

“It's not captain any-” Sai began to explain, stabbing the black blade into the ground.
“Yes. I'm fine.” The armored girl said as the metal plating began to lose shape, moving like a liquid off of her. It formed a square device in her hand before she attached it to her belt. Below her armor was the traditional skin tight blue jump suit, though her's now had a gaping hole in it. The wound she'd sustained looked rather terrible, but she didnt seem to care. Had to give props to someone who could ignore a blow like that. Now that she had the helmet Sai was able to note her hair was dark blue, done in a ponytail due to its length. The other chick had called her Captain Penin. Koltora glanced her way, sure some confusing thing was about to occur. She wore a familiar suit of armor, that belonging to the supreme commander. Though that shouldn't have been. Both of them looked way to young to even be in the military...

“It's a long explanation but I assure you we're both of age to be part of what's left of Vegetas defensive line. Captain Penin told you the truth, Lieutenant commander.”

“Captain Penin?” Sai mumbled, once more mulling that over in his head. If this really was the future then that would make this chick....ah! “Kiddo!” Sai shouted. The blue haired girl nodded in the same stupid way Teya did.

“It's been a while since anyone called me that though, Older brother.”

“We need to be going about now, people.” The supreme commander knock off declared, A small drop ship descending from the air. Still slightly confused as to what was going on Sai boarded slowly.

Once everyone was aboard the ship shot upwards into the air before moving forward. The view that met Sai's eyes was not a good one. The capital, Vegeta city, was in ruins. The streets had been torn asunder by something, what few buildings were still standing were riddled with holes. Below he could make out Saiyans openly battling with the androids he'd seen earlier.

“Alright, some explanations are in order....” Sai said looking to the apparent leader.

“I'm not going to tell you again. I AM the supreme commander.” the would be supreme commander said. “Ten years ago some androids attacked the Xantam home world, stealing some technology in the process. No one thought anything of it at the time. Those idiotic ridge heads actually perfected large scale galactic teleportation. A year later entire android armies simply appeared in the capital of planet earth and Fearu'n. Neither was able to respond in time due to having to go through too many channels to deploy their armies. Next were Vegeta and Maylon. We survived, but the maylonians weren't so lucky. They moved on in such a fashion. I'm not sure what came next as we were in the middle of defending ourselves. Long story short. We're losing this war with these machines. So ultimately there was only one option, take out their teleporter. The problem, we don't know where it is.”

“SO!” Teya suddenly spoke up, the medic seemingly finished with patching her up. “We came up with the idea. Send someone dependable to find it.”

“Right. And there have been few people more dependable than you. Ever since you enlisted your success rate on all operations has over shadowed most. But there was a problem with that....”

“Yeah. You disappeared and no one could find you.”

“Disappeared?” Sai asked, raising an eyebrow. “You trying to say I died or something?”

“No.” Teya corrected. “You literally vanished without a trace......what were you doing just before we pulled you here?”

“I was sleeping.”

The ship grew quiet suddenly. Realization dawning on both women. “You mean to say...the reason you disappeared is because we brought you here? That can't be! Our science officer assured us....”

“Makes sense to me. You pull something from the past how is it supposed to be there in the first place?” the silence intensified. Sai imagining that neither was sure why they'd listened to a science officer in the first place.

“So then. What's the deal here?” Sai asked gesturing to the crew. “What's with the crappy armor, and why're you a midget all of a sudden?”

“That is a special armor type we found when we investigated the ruins of earth, it amplifies your abilities. We've distributed all of them we have to our soldiers. As for me. This is a clone body created by the genetic recombination of genes possessed by saiyans who had psychic abilities. Classified as Project Psychikos. The original intention wasn't to clone, but to have psychic saiyans mate with each other in the hopes of producing a fully psychic saiyan.”

“heh. What sorry ass had their genes added to this project?”

“well.....you, for one.”

“......eh? I thought you said psychic saiyans.”

“I did. I was going to reveal this to you 10 years ago, Sai, but you have a psychic ability crawling around that skull of yours.”

“You trying to say I can move things with my mind?”

“No, you do not possess telekinesis, it is a rarer gift. The same that Kuuka Hain was blessed with.”

“Seeing the future? Nah, I don't think so.”

“Denying it doesn't make it exist any less.”

“whatever. Back to the point. What do you want me to do about all this? I'm not so strong I could save
all of vegeta, let alone the whole universe.”

“Yes, back to the point.” The supreme commander reached into a pocket, pulling out what appeared to be a CD. “Take this back to your time and give it to my past self. I'll know what to do once I've seen it.”

“And how exactly do I go about going back?”

“We've got a machine at the base. It'll send you back.”

As the supreme commander finished explaining a bright light filled the sky. Followed by the loudest explosion Sai had heard in his entire life. The ship began to rock, the pilot managing to stabilize a moment later.

“Shit!” The supreme commander shouted, looking in the direction they'd be going. The capital, or what was left of it, had been replaced by a large mushroom cloud. “She waited for me to leave!”

“she?” Sai asked as Teya rose from her chair.

“The traitor....Now how do we send him back?”

“Traitor?” Sai asked, standing up as well. The severity of this future suddenly hitting him like a ton of bricks.

“It was slightly after they attacked us. The whole city was protected, but the traitor, princess Elon, turned off our barrier. We were destroyed in an instant. She's still with them...”

“One of Amaranth's pampered ass kids? Never would have seen that coming.” Koltora admitted. “So what's the plan now that the city is gone?”

“You sound far too calm, Sai!” Teya shouted. “The last bastion of saiyan civilization was just blown up!”

“Of course. If you can get me back to my time, there won't be any problem. Sure they're a big deal now, but 10 years ago I probably could have taken them on.”

“It won't be so easy. Those androids have modified her with abilities from other races. Last time we battled she'd gained Namekian regeneration.” The supreme commander explained lifting the black blade up. It was more difficult to use now that she had a less trained body. “The machine we'll be using to send you back was kept in the lower levels. It's quite likely it survived. Captain you'll be coming with me.”

“What about me?” Sai asked, moving towards the edge of the ship.

“You should remain here with the rest of the crew. If anything happens to you the whole idea goes up in smoke. Let's go, captain.”

'The supreme commander and Teya leapt off of the ship, auras surrounding them as they flew towards whatever would be left of the ctiy.

“Hope they can handle themselves...” Sai said as the ship barreled into the remains of the mushroom cloud.

“Come out, you bitches! I know you weren't here to get blown up!” The former princess cried at the slightly radioactive remains of vegeta city. She'd left it ruins the first time she attacked, now it was naught but a smoking hole in the ground. Through the smog two lights shone suddenly growing larger until the cybernetic saiyan could tell it was her two targets. “what the hell took so long!?” The former princess shouted as Teya and the supreme commander set foot on the ground. “Now just hold still, I can have you into the next dimension in a few minutes.”
“HOW CAN YOU JEST SO LIGHTLY AFTER WHAT YOU'VE DONE!?” Teya bellowed, taking the metal device from her belt. “Unit 2, Accelerate!” She shouted as the object seemed to melt, forming her crappy armor.

“I'll have to agree with the captain. The fact you show no remorse......Unit 0, accelerate!”

“Your crappy vector armor again?” The former princess asked, deflecting attacks from both. “that untested earth garbage hasn't worked from day one, why do you keep insisting on trying it.” A simple movement of her arm sent both saiyans backwards, landing some feet away. A reticule formed into the center of her left eye, locking onto the supreme commander. Elon threw a finger forward, letting several energy blasts tear lose. Teya moved, interposing herself in the path of the blasts with the intent to deflect them. They moved around her however, already knowing who they were to target.

“Blasted machines.” The supreme commander said, a thin veil of purple light surrounding her. The beams slammed into her, but didn't seem to penetrate the veil.

“Those psychic tricks of yours never get old!” Elon shouted as her other eye formed a reticle, this one locking onto Teya. “You on the other hand are quite dull and straight forward. Always have been, always will be.” A larger blast fired from her hands, barreling for Teya.

The captain jumped instinctively, not the least bit surprised when the blast changed direction and followed her. Her aura flared, Teya beginning a game of cat and mouse with the energy ball. Gymnastic flips and twists didn't seem to work. The blast eventually hitting Teya and knocking her out of the sky.

She collided with the ground but recovered quickly.

“If I'm so boring why don't you ever go for the kill?” Teya asked as she wiped blood from her face.

“If that's your wish!” Elon cried, a spear forming in one of her hands. Sai came barreling onto the field, a simple instinct telling him he should be here. As he came through the cloud of radioactive dust, the sight of his sister being impaled met his vision. Immediately his perception broke.

“Another...false....world.” Sai spoke through attempts to catch his breath. That had been difficult to break away from. Ja'rels ability to create false realities in the mind was more powerful than he'd thought. Ja'rel was leaning backwards against a wall, breathing much more heavily than the saiyan.

“That is.....the fate you invite......by not getting your friend out of here. The order.....protect kanassa.....ever since the first saiyan invasion. Your friend......i've met him....he gives off the same type of ferocity as you. They will end him if they find him.”

“The order won't kill anyone.” Sai replied, wiping sweat from his brow. “They refuse to do it.”

Ja'rel bared her teeth at the saiyan. “There is no such rule against.....accidents.”

Sai gave one last glare to the kanassan as an aura exploded around him. “If you people think you can kill a member of the justice league and claim it was a mere accident, then you've underestimated us......and should it happen? Let me tell you I'm not a very good saiyan, I care too much about things, I keep my instincts supressed with meditation techniques from earth. But should one of us die in a mysterious accident? I'll try and be the best saiyan I can be. I'll bury this entire PLANET. We're done here.”
